I wanted to share some artwork by my friend @pineconeenchanting. This is Katalin and Kingston from The Taming of Miss Shrewsbury!

Like many books to come, Kingston was inspired by Killian Scott, one of my favorite actors. Stewart LeBeau was Booboo Stewart, who's also been my muse before. I specifically chose a pic where he has a mustache because it becomes a joke in the book. ;)

Cine: The Conrad Boys (2006)

Además de dirigir, escribir, producir y editar el filme, Justin Lo es el protagonista de una historia que destaca por su fuerza conmovedora. Aquí, Lo interpreta a Charlie Conrad, un muchacho de dieciocho años que, mientras afronta sus últimos momentos el el colegio, se prepara para ingresar en Columbia, la universidad que le ha aceptado. Vive con su madre Suzie (Lauren Xerxes) y con su imaginativo hermano menor, Benjamin (Boo Boo Stewart, luego conocido como Booboo Stewart tras su paso por "Descendientes", la serie de películas de Disney). ¿El padre? Fuera de la escena desde hace cinco años tras su problema de violencia y alcoholismo.

La vida familiar se quiebra bruscamente cuando Suzie, que estaba ejerciendo su trabajo de masajista, fallece repentinamente. A pesar de los ofrecimientos generosos, Charlie decide que no puede separarse de su hermano, por lo que deja interrumpido su sueño universitario hasta que la situación cambie. ¡Y vaya eso sucede!: un año más tarde, durante su trabajo en un restaurante, conoce a Jordan (Nick Bartzen), un joven que lo cautiva con su espíritu bohemio y su simpatía, que contrasta fuertemente con su personalidad perfeccionista y rutinaria (parece probable que el adolescente padezca TOC). La presencia de Jordan le infunde nuevos bríos, le incita a escaparse de esa vida perfecta que mantiene tan escrupulósamente y le abre las puertas al amor. Charlie se siente renovado, a tal punto que ambos acaban pasando un tiempo juntos en su casa, cuestión que el pequeño Ben, y no sin razón, ve con malos ojos. Sin embargo, un nuevo actor se presenta, confrontándole con su doloroso pasado: Doug (Barry Shay), el padre de los chicos Conrad (al parecer, ya recuperado de sus viejos pecados), regresa para intentar restablecer el contacto perdido. La aparición paterna es un motivo de consuelo y alegría para el hijo menor. En cambio, para Charlie, el suceso es tan inesperado como indeseado.

Además del hermano mayor, el filme también se enfoca en el rastro psicológico de Ben: el niño padece constantes pesadillas sobre vampiros, razón por la cual Charlie le deja llevar siempre consigo un ajo para calmar su ansiedad, y sus juegos suelen incluir la construcción de un fuerte que lo proteja de toda agresión externa.

ive been crying for 25 years

so for those who didn’t know,Paradise City (the spin off series of the american satan film) is now back on amazon prime,and i finished watching it and when i say im broken after the last episode it is by far an understatement,i knew they would get revenge but not in that way and that poor guy thinking no one thought about him because they were so lost in the whirlwind.

christ i need a shot,i-just woah.

Overall it’s an incredible series but holy hell is it gonna break your heart throughout,the cast is maginificent and its a sad that Cameron won’t be reprising as simon but good lord im so thankful we got to see him rock out because he was such a goddamn star on the rise,the dedication at the end had me bawling. Booboo stewart what a goddamn legend,never knew i needed to see him as a rockstar but hell yes it is the best thing ever.

The incredible musicians from the voices of the acts and then of course Andy Biersack,Benjamin Bruce and pretty much everyone just woah.

Fingers crossed for a season 2 because the Mavens deserve a storyline and im excited to see what happens next with lil baby faith.
