Spoilers for season 2. This is mostly rambling about speculations.

So we all know Arcane loves it's parallels right? So last season we had Jayce's life improve constantly as Viktor's health deteriorates before our eyes. This season it seems it's the opposite with Viktor becoming a Cyborg Messiah while Jayce steps down from being counsellor, is sliced with a chainsaw, his girlfriend possibly gets kidnapped and so on. So my question is what we think the breaking moment will be for Viktor? Like how Jayce had the murder of that child that traumatised him and started his downwards spiral.

There's no right and wrong answer obviously but hey it's fun to speculate until the next season comes out. I think Orianna might actually be the (insert Russian accent) "Oh no, my glorious evolution messed up" moment for Viktor. So we are all speculating that Singed is trying to revive Orianna who is probably possibly, right? (you may ask how that's possible with the stupid decision of everything being canon and in one universe and us already meeting Orianna's dad, well you see dear reader, gay people exist-/hj)

Quick recap of who Orianna Reveck is: a once living girl from Piltover with a scientist father who after a disaster struck in Zaun, escaped Piltover and went down to attempt to save as many victims by handing out respirators, giving her own to save a child. Safe to say she fell terminally ill after inhaling all the poison people in the undercity regularly inhale. Her father, desperate to save her life replaced her with a creepy metallic robot resembling a music box ballerina. Except it's not her, it's a mindless monster and her heart is stuck in a ball that the doll carries. Bonus of Singed mentioning he had a daughter in the last episode, you can see why everyone thinks it is Orianna. Rip Corin Reveck I guess.

So if Singed does try to revive the wolves and possibly Vander by mixing them and Warwick is the closest he can get to it and he isn't satisfied because he doesn't want his daughter to be some mindless monster that barely resembles a human, he could very well turn to his former pupil turned Cyborg Jesus. I imagine the arcane would lose it at that point because it's already protesting when Viktor healed that guy but Orianna would be necromancy because she is not sick or dying, she is an actual corpse. Also the fact she is fully robot! Which did make sense with Corin in old lore but Singed is more of a biochemist. But who isn't? That's right Glorious Evolution Massiah. Of course it will go horribly wrong, see above the mindless murdering doll description. Jayce takes away someone's child and is hunted by it, Viktor returns someone's child except he doesn't and is traumatised by it. Oh I hope we get to see horror movie monster Orianna.

in my personal headcanon i think it's Heather who proposes, mostly because I find it sweet considering Alejandro was the one confessing to her (two times i might add) so it'd be a good character development moment for her to take the next big step in their relationship

It is 1:14 in the morning as I write this (editing about a day later) and I have my first day of my senior year of high school tomorrow, but I just had to get all of my thoughts out while they were fresh.

I have never, never hyperfixated on a fanfic so hard. I've never read 400k+ words of a single fic in under a week. Somehow I managed to do that and have time to draw fanart (something I'm pretty sure I've only done once before for a fic, actually) and do my irl life shit.

How, you may ask? By continuously staying up into the wee hours of the morning :D (like 4-6am type shit, don't recommend it even if I think it was personally worth it).

I think I was so hyperfixated on the fic that I honestly didn't absorb the emotions like I should have? I felt things, surprise, excitement, a Sense of Impending Doom (/hj), but I don't think I really felt them.

I was probably a little more dissociated while reading than I usually am lol. I was so absorbed that some things barely registered. I am 100% going to have to re-read everything.

At one point I worried the fic wouldn't have a happy ending. Doesn't have the "angst with a happy ending" tag afaik and it got much worse before it got better. Saw a comment on one of the end notes and was reassured thankfully TvT. I'm very happy everyone is ok.

Love how the after ending note basically boiled down to "everyone is fine and Felix finally got some sleep" lol.

This fic was just. So good. Riley is such a dynamic character, so awesome and so cool. I really want to headcanon them as autistic (some of their behaviors just. They just. It's hard to explain, but if you're autistic too I bet you probably felt it, just a lil. They got the vibes /hj) but I know some authors can be kinda iffy about people headcanoning their OCs (which I get).

It was really cool to see an honest to goodness nonbinary character, a full character and not a self insert or y/n (no shade, I love y/n stories too). It was just cool to see a complete OC, and I love that it was all platonic, even if Sundrop did catch a little bit of feelings.

Honestly I relate so much to that, as someone who gains and loses crushes pretty fast. I'm happy it stayed platonic though and Sunny wasn't hurt or stuck pining or something silly. Plus his absolute embarrassment and mortification at his slip up was pretty funny. Might try to draw it, if I have any left over motivation (the bottom of this post sure is interesting hint hint).

Update as I'm editing this about a day later: I can't stop thinking about this fic. It was just so good! I already want to re-read it but I know I should give it at least a little time so I don't burn myself out. This fic was probably the best story I've ever read. Period. Even better than the published books I've read.

Honestly without spoiling any more than I already have, read it. If you like the DCA, read it. If you like cool nonbinary characters and great platonic relationships, read it. If you like a plot that sneaks up on you before hitting you in the feels like a truck, read. It. Do it. It's sososo worth it, I promise you.

Klaus Boudelaire. 7/10. He was smart, and little Izzy had a fixation on smart boys who would read. The actor who played him also looked like my third grade crush and 8 year old Izzy was smitten. I would've been best friends with him fr fr. Count Olaf can catch these pale hands.

Alright so:

Kinda using your point of Starline having touch starvation, I would like to imagine that despite his cold demeanor towards everyone and everything, Mimic is pretty understanding about this concept even though he never really experienced it.

This is under the assumption that they've been somewhat domestic partners for a while before (I'm guessing Starline) confessed to him, that there were certain tells like Starline slightly hovering near Mimic and talking to him for way longer then what he's used to or he just looks uneasy while he's working.

A little bonus I thought of while typing this is that Mimic would ask and Starline would act in denial, but since Mimic can kinda see through his lies just decides to stay by him until he's ready to say that he needs a hug or some sort of affirmation.

I've always imagined Starline just staying really close to Mimic when they walk alongside each other. Just barely any distance. Starline never realized he was being that close, but Mimic did. It had Mimic on edge at first, but he would eventually get around to understanding there was no negative intent.

Starline is definitely in denial of his touch starvation. It doesn't help how much he isolates himself as a way to beat it down with a broom. Mimic obviously takes time to allow Starline to find affirmation in him, but once he does, Mimic is just hanging around waiting for Starline to crack and ask for cuddles.

Rewatching season one of Rottmnt to write a canon compliant fic for Oz - have come away with the headcanon that Hypno has rejection sensitive dysphoria.

Here are all of the notes I’ve taken while watching - most canon and some headcanons supported by canon! I also wrote this at 2 in the morning so bear with me.

There’s a lot so all notes will be under the cut!

Notes: (bonus note: Hypno’s impressed by April figuring out one of his and Warren’s routines and even gives her a pat on the shoulder. He’d be a cool dad, I think)

Warren’s absurdly dramatic, way more than I remembered. He’s also the one that hurls more insults, cares far more about his looks, and has actually kissed himself in the mirror. Needs to be the center of attention - was disheartened and annoyed when the camera panned away from him in Newsworthy, several times. He also has a very interesting manner of speaking (typical New Yorker but definitely the gay theater kid who couldn’t find work as an actor so he became a news anchor - least those are the vibes - probably recites musicals to Hypno and gets super into them), putting a more dramatic flair and bravado to his voice when ‘fighting’ the turtles. Craves power and doesn’t care about who he hurts, doesn’t attempt to avoid pain since he knows he can’t, he’s even hurt Hypno in his debut episode by reflecting his hypnotic powers back at him (this comes back around in WHSIAT). 

Just thought of this one now, the apartment we see him living in totally isn’t the one he originally lived in before his mutation. He lost everything, including the ability to access his bank account. He could afford a nicer place, but that money is tied up where he can’t reach.

This next one kinda pissed me off - they purposely block out his eye color from when he was human, leaving artists and writers alike to guess, a detriment to the 12 people actively making content for him /hj

Very pathetic, but realistically is probably very depressed. Keeps reminding himself of his old life and only really makes efforts at being relevant so he’d get back on TV no matter what. Needs attention to feel validated. 

If I keep thinking about Warren Stone I will make myself sad. Moving on. 

-Hypno is a bit more cockney than I remembered. Rhys really leans into the accent. 

-Hypno holds people to their promises, expects that promises will be made good on, makes good on his own (no betrayals). 

-He’s also kinda easy to trick which is ironic. 

-Hates pain of all kinds and avoids it if he can (we see this after Hypno! Part Deux - in ‘Stuck On You’ he says “don’t come any closer!” “that’s close enough!” as he backed away from the turtles, and “not again” right before getting punched through another wall) tries to do the same for others by avoiding putting them through pain (he mostly runs away or puts people in magic traps / hypnotizes them if he can, the rings and physical fights being a last resort in every occurance other than his debut) (especially avoids inflicting pain if he cares about the person a lot - felt terrible about having to betray and hypnotize Warren so his roomie would be allowed to live - which ended in a second betrayal by Draxum). 

-Damn, this man is kinda bad at being evil. 

-Hypno likes pet names, and I mean the endearing affectionate partner kind. In WHSIAT, he calls Warren “my Warren '' which is heart meltingly sweet. He also calls him: roomie, best friend, golden voiced amigo, pal, magical assistant, and more! 

-(Headcanon based on canon evidence) Hypno’s guarded when it comes to his emotions - specifically in terms of romance. The guy’s been tricked before as seen in Newsworthy, a trick that really hurts. Most likely took him a long time to warm up to the thought of Warren being a romantic partner since he feared rejection. 

personal headcanon, both he and Warren have Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria - but Hypno has it worse 

-Hypno cares about Doug - his previous hippo assistant - to the point that he’d raise him from the dead. (Oh look, a normal note)

-These are all just about Hypno now, with some headcanons supported by canon in there too-

dramatic in the flashy and showy performance way, seems less over the top than Warren

not above necromancy, then again, before Warren it seems like Doug was his only friend so that could be why

Would most likely come to blows with anyone that dyes animals different colors for events. He loves his pets/magical assistants and to see someone so flagrantly disregard the life of an animal for entertainment would piss him off.

hopeless romantic, and not just ‘cause of the hormones used in Newsworthy - (the whole ‘they pulled the fake Jenny on me’ line seals the deal - he’s most likely been set up on blind dates that have gone nowhere/ editing to add catfished and straight up made fun of. This is one lonely man and that’s terrible) 

This next one’s strangely canon and weird - interesting doubled voice effect when he hypnotizes people but it only shows up twice (Newsworthy and Stuck On You), like the writing team wasn’t sure about it

Warren is his first major relationship and he fell super hard. It’s very obvious - this man is ultra protective of his worm roommate and would go through hell for him. He has gone through hell for him (not in the Orpheus way but he would do that too). Can’t stand being without him, super affectionate, the pet names and little comments, searching for Warren the second they get him back and giving him smooches, how he feels awful for being a bad roomie and knows that Warren notices his lack of effort around the house but doesn’t say anything, and the sweet gesture of baking Warren a birthday cake and jumping out of it to be extra dazzling proves that he’s investing a lot into this relationship. Even April points out how in love Hypno is with Warren by the end of the episode, saying that Warren’s life matters more to some people (looking directly at Hypno as he looks lovingly at his ‘roommate’ - hahaha it’s fruit city up in here) than some piece of armor.

Sonic Headcanon Sunday: (For the Sake of Working on Making my Own Content XD) Pride Month Edition!

So as you can probably guess from the title, Sonic Headcanon Sunday is thing I want to try out where I post headcanons I have about the Sonic franchise every other Sunday. And since it’s still Pride month, I couldn’t resist starting off with some LGBTQ+ headcanons I have about the characters:

Sonic: Bi, bi, bi!!! (Maybe somewhere under the ace umbrella too???) While he does find some guys attractive, he’s more into girls and non-binaries. I could totally see him eventually opening up more to Amy. And he has DEFINITELY flirted with Shadow a little bit at one point (mainly just to mess with them). I dare y’all to change my mind. /hj /nm

Amy: Demi/Pan because she clearly doesn’t have any attraction or close, emotional bond to anyone but Sonic. But at the same time, if she somehow were to move on from the blue blur, she strikes me as someone who would end up dating a person regardless of their gender (if and when she makes a very close bond with them too, of course).

Shadow: A masculine-leaning non-binary. He uses He/They/It pronouns (Friendly reminder that he canonically was addressed with both He/him and it/it’s pronouns in SA2!) It also owns a neckerchief with the non-binary Pride flag colors. Not only is he asexual but, like Amy, they’re also demi/panromantic.

Charmy: A trans boi! It just makes sense, considering wings and stingers are both female bee parts. Granted the Sonic Team most likely either didn’t know bee anatomy or kept the wings and stinger to make him more recognizable as a bee, but this is more fun to think about!

Mighty: A gay disaster! XD Bonus headcanon that he used to have a crush on both Sonic and Knuckles. The problem? Knuckles is straight, Sonic had no interest in dating at the time, and they both only saw the armadillo as a friend. Yeah poor guy got double friend-zoned.

Espio: Asexual, but not against finding a woman to have a romantic relationship with .

Whisper: Lesbian. She and Tangle have a thing going on. *

Tangle: Bi and dating Whisper. *

Barry: Non-binary (They/them)*

Tekno the Canary: Non-binary. They’re fem-leaning and use She/They pronouns.* Also a Sapphic.

And everyone else is straight and cis allies. (Well maybe Rouge might not be straight. She kinda gives off bi vibes too tbh)

i haven’t been on tumblr for a really long time and here’s a very random update :p

My tennis season ended today! I didn’t go to the last match tho lol, but now that the tennis season is over I can gladly confirm I’ve won 2 games 💀. 7-6 on doubles and 4-3 on singles (we ended early lol). Anyways, I lowkey did trash this season but I did not bad considering I played against wayyy too many tall seniors (coughs in freshman-) 

Also I had my first quiz bowl match today! :D I love quiz bowl, like honestly, like honestly I love quiz bowl. I’m a professional quiz bowl enthusiast 🤓 /hj anyways I only answered like 1 actual question that wasn’t a bonus (team answered) and guess what it was on. I bet you can’t 💀

So the way quiz bowl works is if you answer a question read out loud before a certain word then you can be given 5+ points on top of the 10 points you get (if you get it right lol). So you know, the 1st team we were going against were full on juniors and seniors, so ya know. They’re good, like really good- anyways they kept answering before the first sentence was even over. But then there was a question that I got within 5 words💀

So the question was “From this show, John Sturgis-” and me who used to watch Young Sheldon w e e k l y got it right lol. I knew watching Young Sheldon would help me one day /j.

It’s mid afternoon when Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Hamilton finishes his correspondence letter to Congress. He grins with triumph and stands abruptly from his chair, puffing out a breath of exhaustion. He sets his quill down, scans over his work and smiling with satisfactory, rolls up his scroll of parchment before adding it to the stack near him.

Hamilton is just about to head up to the General’s office when the front door to the home slams open. Hamilton yelps with surprise, nearly jumps a foot off the ground as he spins around on his heels to find the intruder, instinctively reaching for his pistol in its holster around his belt. But he realxes when he finds Richard Kidder Meade and Tench Tilghman standing in the doorway, thier eyes wide and panicky. Hamilton frowns worriedly as he glances between the two, lowering his pistol back into its holster and smoothing out his lapels, adjusting his white, ruffled cuffs before marching up towards the two. 

Meade lifts a finger as he hunches over, pounding his chest as he coughs--trying to catch his breath. Tilghman hunches over as well, gripping his knees as he also tries to catch his breath. It’s then does he realize the two men both have dirt and soot covering their faces along with a few scrapes of blood on their cheeks, foreheads, chins. Hamilton rushes up to thier aid in an instant. 

“Kidder!” Hamilton gasps, alarmed as he reaches to Meade’s side, supporting him up with a hand on his back and chest and Meade’s arm slung over Hamilton’s shoulder. Hamilton glances over at Tilghman. “Tench! What--” 

“Your Laurens, Alexander,” Meade grunts as Hamilton lowers him onto the settee in the front parlor of their headquarters. Meade winces and hisses sharply through his nose as Hamilton carefully releases him. 

“John?” Hamilton gasps, his chest tightening as his face pales a little, the fear something happening to his Laurens clouds his mind. “What about him? Where--” 

“He’s been shot,” Tilghman huffs, wincing as he himself lowers down next to Meade. “That bloody idiot.” 

Hamilton’s voice tightens as he manages to choke out, “S-Shot?” 

Tilghman and Meade both nod, but don’t reply. 

After a few seconds, Meade grunts, “Bloody idiot. Ran through the enemy fire, tried to burn the mansion down and take the building, but only to end up with a bloody musketball in his shoulder!” 

“I mean,” Tilghman gasps, shaking his head, still amazed and slightly terrified at Laurens’s reckless actions. “What does he think he’s doing? Trying to get himself killed?!” 

Hamilton simply stares at the two, eyes wide, jaw dropped slightly, his face paling and his chest squeezes. His throat burns as he swallows the lump down his throat, grimacing as though it hurts him to do so. Hamilton couldn’t help but imagine his Laurens on the field, on his horse, slashing with his sword through the thick fog that surrounds them in Germantown. He sees Laurens with a limp figure, gray skin, glassy-blue eyes, his shoulder a deep crimson red. 

Hamitlon shakes the intrusive thought away and mutters, “No...” under his breath. He whips his head back towards Tilghman and Meade and crouches down before them. 

“How fares he?” Hamilton asks, his voice pleading and tight. “Is he...do you know if...if he’s...” He swallows. “Where is he?”

“They’re taking him to the medical tents now. He could barely walk by the looks of it,” Meade explains. He scoffs as he shakes his head, tsking. “Bloody idiot.” 

Before either Meade or Tilghman could say a word, Hamilton shoots up from his crouched-position instant and flings the door open, his heart pounding as his chest squeezes with pure fear. Before he could make a move, however, a voice stops him. 

“Hamilton?” Colonel Robert Hanson Harrison questions, flashing the trio a confused look as he climbs down the stairs with more letters and corrospondences in hand. 

Hamilton whips his head over his shoulder. “Do tell His Excellency of my wareabouts.” A pause. “I’ll be in the medical tents with Laurens. He’s been shot.” 

Hamilton slams the door shut as he speeds out of the house, the image of Harrison’s confused expression is the last thing he sees before the door clicks shut. Hamilton stands on the porch, trying to control himself. He glances up at the sky before closing his eyes. 

Stay alive, John...please for the love of God you idiot just...

Stay alive...

Hamilton clutches onto his black tricorn hat on top of his head to keep the wind from blowing it off as he rushes towards the line of tents. He watches his feet step in front of the other as he reaches towards the medical tents. The tails of his blue Continental coat flapping behind agaisnt him, gripping the hilt of his sword with the other hand. Searching for a familiar six foot blonde.

“Lieuteant Colonel Laurens?!” Hamilton gasps as he flips open a tent’s flap, a wild look on his face. 

The surgeons hovering over the wounded soldier on the cot, glances up at him. Before glancing at each other, looks around once and shakes his head.

Hamilton rushes to the next. 

“Laurens?!” Hamilton cries, blinking his eyes as he mutters a curse when no Laurens appears before him. 

“Laurens?” 

Nothing. 

“Laurens!” 

Still nothing. Hamilton growls with frustration as he exits the second to the last tent. Hamilton marches out into the open, breathing labored as he tries to catch his breath, his eyes shining with fear and worry. Hamilton presses his lips together in hopes it would keep it from trembling. But unfortunately that doesn’t work. Hamilton stands in the open, spinning in a small circle once. He freezes, however, when he hears someone say-- 

“Come now, sir,” a voice says. American and deep, a low grumble coming from the back of his throat almost like thunder. 

“He can barely walk!” another voice scolds. 

Hamilton grins as he speeds off towards the direction of the voices, a hopeful smile on his face, eyes wide. 

“John Laurens?” Hamilton asks. 

The two officers glances at each other then back at Hamilton as they trudge towards the medical tent just a few inches in front of them. The cries of agony coming from the distnace rings in Hamilton’s ears. Hamilton gasps with both relief and fear at the sight of his Laurens before him.

Laurens’s slumped against one of the offiecers, both of his arms slung across their shoulders and his head hangs low, a few strands of honey  blonde hiar hang loose in of his those blue eyes of his, which fade in and out of consciousness. Hamilton grimaces when he sees the dark hole in Laurens’s shoulder, a green bandage around it: his aide-de-camp ribbon. Hamilton holds the flaps open for the men, Laurens hissing and wincing with each step they take. 

Laurens screams with pure agony as his shoulder makes contact with the wood as he’s being lowered onto the cot. He breathes sharply, clenching his eyes shut as he grips his shoulder with his free hand. Hamilton explains to the officers who is and to get a surgeon. The two men hestiate for a moment before nodding and walks out of the tent, the flap whipping behind them. 

Hamilton stares down at Laurens, who’s eyes remain half-opened up at his, before glancing around him to make sure they’re alone and leans down to smack his lips against Laurens’s. 

Laurens grunts, surprised but melts into the kiss nonetheless, grinning. After a few seconds, Hamilton pulls back sharply with a gasp. He glowers at Laurens before him, panting, while Laurens simply giggles and grins. 

“Wow...” Laurens giggles, his voice slurred as if he were drunk. “That was...that was--” 

Hamilton cuts him off with a slap to Laurens’s cheek. Laurens’s head whips to the side, his eyes wide and blinking as he cradles his cheek. He slowly cranes his head around to face Hamilton above him. 

“JOHN FUCKING LAURENS!” Hamilton screeches. 

Laurens clamps his half-opened mouth closed. Hamilton yanks his tricorn hat off his head and whacks it agaisnt Laurens’s uninjuried arm. 

“You...You...You...You...Ooh! Laurens! You fucking idiot what were you trying to do?! Trying to get yourself killed?!” Hamilton barks, his face ever the Little Lion. 

Laurens only laughs as he shakes his head, proping himself up as best he can. Until Hamilton forcefully pushes him down and jabs a finger at him. 

“Nah ah,” Hamilton snaps. “You stay right there!” 

“Alexander,” Laurens chuckles. 

“No. You’re staying right there Laurens or so help me.” 

“Alex--” Laurens titters. 

“Nah-ah! What’d I say?” Hamilton snaps, still jabbing his finger at Laurens. 

“Alexander,” Laurens says. “I’m fine, dear boy.” 

“Fine?! Fine! John...Jack...my dear Jack...FINE?! Look at yourself, Jack! You can barely walk, you’ve been in and out of unconsciousness since your arrival and have I mentioned that you’ve been SHOT!” Hamilton squaks. 

Hamilton grumbles some more incoherent curses under his breath as he runs a hand through his tangled, auburn curls before pacing back and forth in front of Laurens, impatiently waiitng for the surgeon to arrive. Laurens watches with fondness as Hamilton fills the pitcher with cold water from nearby, dipping a cloth inside before wringling the excess water out. Laurens sighs as he swings him legs around and begins to push himself up to stop Hamilton until-- 

“JOHN FUCKING LAURENS!” Hamilton howls. If looks could kill, Laurens would be dead faster than a finger snap. Laurens freezes. Hamilton jabs the cloth at Laurens, a tight scowl on his face yet his eyes shine with worry. “GET YOURSELF BACK IN THAT BED RIGHT FUCKING NOW, SIR!” 

Laurens swallows and nods once, lying himself back down in his cot

Yes, sir... is all Laurens thinks.

With a small smile on his face.

Was watching back Scar's Episode, trying to pick a favourite moment and it's all so good like; Top 15 of things I loved below the cut. it's.... a little long. Spoilers for Scar's 3rd episode, obviously

In chronological Order

1. Scar saying Rapscallions. Happens a fair amount during the episode and every time it's fantastic. Bonus points for Grian and Scar Both calling Etho a Rapscallion at different times

2. "Now, you maybe be wondering what these friend certificates are backed up by, diamonds, food? No. Love. And it can't be disputed, love cannot be disputed!"

3. Grian pulling up in a boat and turning around so Scar can easily hop in. Like, theoretically? He could've right clicked in regardless. But the theatre of it all ! Fantastic

4. Bigb slowly backing away in his boat, Scar inching closer each time, "Man the currents here are strong, but our friendship will always bring us together. But we never certified our best friendness... [cue sales pitch]"

5. Etho's testimonial. I think the framing of him on lilypad from SCar's pov adds a lot to the moment

6. At like, 6:45 when he says "but I still really wanna trade up, and get an enchanter today" he sounds so villainous and foreboding iconic, he's an icon, who else brings this level of drama on a regular basis on the server?

7. The entirety of Jimmy coming over for cows; Grian and scar working together to get the diamond chestplate, Jimmy breaking under very minimal pressure, fantastic interaction, 10/10 I cannot wait for Solidarity's POV for that one

8. "Scar I can't give up the business it's not just me, it's- Martyn has kids he's gotta feed-" "When I Turn Red Ren, You're on My List" I appreciate the fact that Scar slowly walked away the entire time Ren was explaining, the cinematography... again, who is more dramatic?

-1. Negative 1, because Grian was very much helping Cleo out during the Pizza talks and it gave me pain, from telling her not to settle for paper, to sort of egging on the "how much is pizza worth to you angle", TELLING cleo about the diamond chestplate? TELLING her he was lying? "Might as well take his pants too" WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON? THE ANSWER SHOULDN'T BE CLEO HERE but it was kinda funny, but also a little sad

7. version 2: We're slightly off time here but Scar sliding into his salesman voice offering Cleo the friendship pack I-

8. Saying he worked hard for the diamond sword he "bargained for" with Joel- I'm wheezing. "That's not just a diamond sword that's a sword with great history behind it."

9. "I can't take off my pants! That's InApPrOpRiAtE!"

10. Turning to Grian the second Cleo was out of sight to say "Oh good I hid the chestplate"

11. The montage of 5 second clips of A) Cookie mountain B) There's some weird stuff going on in there C) Yeah that's a Bdubs Castle. Great 15 seconds 15/15

12. The entirety of both interactions with Joel. I would list the things I loved but it would make this post Even Longer, like Way Too Long and I should probably wrap it up soon. Again, skipping around a bit, but they were both so funny. His house feels like a drive-in, it's fantastic. "Hello hello hello it's uncle scar, coming to visit!"

13. Scar trying to explain why what he's been doing isn't blackmail

14. "Can we still be friends?" *throws flowers* - actually the entire Scar coming back was very funny

13. Ren escaping from Etho's, "It's a shame there are others who decided... not to align with me..." zooms in on Ren swimming away. This episode I'm really noticing a lot of the ways in which Scar does a great job of positioning his camera for maximum comedy/effect, and the editting is really good too.

14. The 2nd Ren threatening scene..... "You said you'd kill me first" "Oh no I've come to threaten you first" ......... "I won't kill you or your- partner"........ "He's on the payroll. Disposable, some even may say"......

DISCLAIMER: I DO WOOSAN ANALYSIS, PLEASE SKIP IF U DON’T LIKE THIS SORT OF STUFF. I’M BY NO MEANS A PROFESSIONAL JUST SHARING MY OPINIONS. :)

so, i decided to make a san jealousy post because before i said i don’t think woo’s a jealous man, but now i think otherwise. however, unlike san woo is a lot more subtle(and at times he’s just outright brash with his jealousy) while san is a lot more transparent in general. so it’s easier to make a post about him. but i will include bonus moments or notable moments of woo’s jealousy. not only that, but we get less moments of woo being clearly jealous because san doesn’t give him much opportunity. ‘cause san is constantly giving him the attention he wants and is trying to woo him...

anyway, i would like to preface this by saying jealous is not a bad emotion. in fact it’s not an emotion. it’s a feeling that every human experiences. unlike emotions a feeling is where you have a decent enough time to think about how to react to something. jealousy is often a feeling of insecurity. this may shock u but this includes ur idols. ‘cause u know they’re not robots. tho it’s understandable to get confused because they’re all so dreamy. but not the point. 

however, jealousy isn’t technically a good thing either and it can also derive from an unhealthy characteristic or trait of being possessive and territorial. to even someone’s detriment. especially if it makes the other party feel smothered, uncomfortable or constricted.  

now. the important question you’re wondering is whether i think san is possessive and territorial. 

well, yes, i do think he is a bit. but not to an unhealthy degree if u ask me. he isn’t overly dominating. such as making everyone else feel uncomfortable because he’s very careful not to impose himself on others. in fact i’d say san is mostly dominant/territorial and jealous because he’s insecure AND possessive.

but that’s enough talking let’s talk about moments of jealousy from san.

let’s start with some iconic jealousy moments that immediately come to mind when we’re talking about woosan. 

this moment where woo kissed seonghwa. as soon as san realized what was happening his body became stiff and awkward. just look at his face in the first ss. lmfao. he instantly became jealous and walked away and said. “i can’t watch this”. it was pretty obvious and his body and face also had a lot of tension which also shows displeasure. 

this moment where he became absolutely shocked that woo caressed seonghwa’s face. please note how he was looking at wooyoung as if he couldn’t believe that he would do something like that to him. san’s face instantly changes from smiling to just pure jealousy in response to woo’s actions.

let’s talk about subtle jealousy, i mentioned this moment in an interview analysis. https://woogurl.tumblr.com/post/620788572454371328/hey-i-wanted-to-make-a-small-mini-woosan for reference. 

as i pointed out before. san’s jealousy starts the second wooyoung places his hands on yunho. while the moments before show how easily triggered and jealous san can get. i feel like this interview clearly shows san’s possessive side. his jealousy consumes him to the point where he simply cannot focus at all during the end of the interview. it’s also interesting to see san genuinely seeing his members as a threat in this manner. 

let’s talk about another subtle jealous moment, however it’s also very open and aggressive body language. and i’m still surprised san reacted this way. but interesting moment that’s not often talked about. a friend sent this to me in dm a while ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26rscSxwIEU @ 5:25.

san was initially just minding his own business until he noticed woo talking to someone named tag. i was told that this was woo’s friend (ofc who isn’t woo’s friend at this point). as soon as san spotted them he started walking towards them. which surprised me because san is an introvert, he wouldn’t normally react like this in any situation but i def felt like san reacted more aggressively in this atmosphere because he’s aware isac is often a place where idols “meet" cough cough if u get what i mean.

as soon as san approached them he smacked woo hard and i mean hard af on the back. like damn. lol. something u should take note of is a persons status in a group is often revealed through body language. if a person uses dominant indirect/unconscious body language they’re displaying an indirect form of aggression. 

not only that but san adds himself into the conversation. not only that but he touches/tousles woo’s hair which is a pretty affectionate gesture. tag is close to woo but san keeps invading that small space between them and his body and feet are pointed towards woo. you can see tag talking to hj from a decent distance but san is literally taking up that small personal space between woo and tag. he touches woo’s side and continues to try and get closer. u can also see that woo is fidgety avoiding eye contact while san’s eyes and gaze are directly on woo and follows his every move. it’s lowkey scary how san’s eyes are scanning woo. and as soon as woo has to leave the whole convo between them ends abruptly. lol.

next thing i wanna talk about is neck touches. i’ve already made an analysis about this. https://woogurl.tumblr.com/post/626125803005116416/woosan-neck-touches-this-is-probably-one-of-the?is_related_post=1. but there’s been many more moments since then. and my initial opinion has only solidified since then. 

now i mentioned before that san doesn’t touch the other members neck as often as he touches woo’s neck. and definitely not as often as i thought he did. i mentioned before that does this either out of habit, to comfort or to assert dominance(it could even be all of them depending on the situation). and because san has shown signs of being possessive and territorial. i wouldn’t be surprised if the later was true. here are some recent ex.

san was pretty protective of woo during the surprise youtube vlive. his hands just couldn’t keep off him. lol. and woo as always is extremely comfortable with san’s skinship. not only that but i also think it genuinely comforts him when san does it.

this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAMfdeQ4DcM, was quite interesting. to me it was one of the most interesting recent interactions from them. yet people barely talk about it. lmfao. well it’s understandable ‘cause their interactions were def edited/cut but a lot of moments were cute but here. san was being more possessive and territorial than normal with woo. so much so that the staff literally had to move him. LOL. @4:30 san was lowkey jealous that woo chose yeosang(even tho san was first to volunteer himself) as his guard and not him. but it doesn’t matter because san still ended up next to him. lol. however after some time they moved him and i’m not entirely sure why. i won’t really go into depth about this moment because this post is meant to analyze san’s jealousy as an outcome of possessiveness/protectiveness. 

i would like to highlight again that i do not think san is possessive and territorial in a way that’s imposing. or in a way where he’s trying to dominate a conversation or propose himself as the ‘leader’. i think he’s this way because he’s naturally a caretaker. which is why he seems to want to protect those he genuinely cares about and are possessive over them.

next i wanna discuss this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XslMoD5h3M&list=WL&index=12&t=2s. this video is one where san was particularly touchy and possessive with woo. attempting to physically draw woo into him as much as possible. 

he starts touching woo @1:54. then, @2:15-2:33. and there’s a moment at 2:33 in particular that interest me.

san’s still touching woo, and if you ask me his touches with woo are a bit intimate. and on the side you see seonghwa’s hand on touch san’s waist. and it’s either because 1. he can’t see or 2. he’s warning san of something. @2:40 you can see it more clearly. 

as you can see, seonghwa can’t(omg, joke from gmm don’t mind me). anyway, seonghwa’s kind of leaning forward. but this could also be because he wants to be subtle with his warning to san. you see the thing about subtle moments are.....they’re subtle moments. lol. they’re supposed to be subtle. and when they’re this subtle it’s easy for people to go. ‘oh, you’re overreacting, he’s just looking over’. so for now, i’m gonna say he’s just trying to look over.  

now, i know people wanted me to put the part where san’s hands glide over woo’s back but this isn’t the sexual tension analysis. so anyway san’s hand is placed on woo’s neck @3:00-3:17 until he has to clap. lol. 

san’s back to touching woo @3:35, but seonghwa can’t see again, because san’s pretty pressed up against woo and he’s a little in front of seonghwa and seonghwa keeps trying to pull san back. but at this point what is he trying to see? lol. and if you watch carefully, immediately after hwa touches san’s arm. he moves it. so i’ll leave that up to u guys to interpret it as you wish. there’s a couple of more moments after that where seonghwa attempts to warn or pull san back. and i’m pretty sure it’s because san was being touchy. i’m gonna guess it’s because he really liked woo’s fit that day. 

i mean just look at the way he was looking at him at 3:50. his hands were firmly place on his neck and he was staring at him while licking his lips. 

now let’s talk about how my man san is literally draped over woo at this point @4:46. i wanna mention the way san’s no longer literally holding woo’s neck anymore(which is a pretty possessive gesture because the neck is a pretty intimate are and san feels like he owns woo’s neck or something). now he’s pressed even closer to woo and his arm is wrapped around his him. something san has always done even in predebut is wrap his arms around woo’s shoulder and to me that’s pretty evident body language that he wants to be physically closer to woo by drawing him into him and wants to get rid of space between them which is pretty evident esp in this ss. just look at woosan compared to everyone else. so the reason i added this moment is because it shows how possessive and touchy san to be kind of like displaying ‘he’s mine’ or ‘we’re super close, see?’ and everyone else is just minding their own business while hwa is probably inwardly freaking out. lmfao.

we start off the video with san holding woo’s neck. can i just reiterate how intimate this gesture is. also how san often does this to woo and rarely does it with others? just imagine your partner holding your neck like this. it’s a pretty intimate and possessive gesture. it’s not mentioned often but woo’s neck is pretty sensitive and he viscerally reacts when it’s touched by others intentionally intimately. lol. but anyway san holds woo’s neck for quite sometime and their body language is once again so different from everyone elses.

i also wanna mention that someone said the interview with oneus and mostly onf was awkward in my dm. esp the tension between wooyoung and the boy in the green and yellow sweater. i’m sorry i don’t know his name. xD i would have to watch again. ‘cause i’m not sure if there was tension but i do know woo was quite bold in starting their amicus ad aras thing. anyway the clip was relatively short so not much to be said.

but we’re here to pinpoint possessive/jealous san. lol. he starts holding on to woo around 21:45-22:57. he holds on for quite a while. lol. 

he let’s wooyoung’s neck breath for a while before it’s yeosang comes in @23:07 and he grabs it again. lol. and at 23:38 as woo was gonna blow in yeosang’s ear san comes down to peck woo’s head and grabs his shoulders with both hands. lol. 

and of course he continues holding woo and gets closer to him and he checks to see if the staff is looking at him weirdly. lol. 

he holds on to him a while longer before yeosang finally get up. i would also like to say san was following woo around for a bit previously before this happened. lol. now as woo gets up the camera kind of goes somewhere else and jongho’s kind of in the way(it’s oke, we love to see his handsome face). so i couldn’t really see exactly what happened but @25:15 woo clings on to hwa and san’s like, ‘oh...alright’ lmfao. i also wanna mention woo tried to peak under hwa’s shirt. at this point we can say he’s not only an ass man but a tummy/abs man oke. anyway that’s it in conclusion san loves to touch and hold on to woo in any way possible. 

i also wanna mention the moments where san wraps his arms around woo’s waist, because i also think this is possessive/territorial body language. i’ve made a whole comp of this because san does it that often. 

THIS IS GETTING TOO LONG. so i wanna bring up a few of the online fansign moments. it difficult to interpret these because 1. they’re short clips without much context and 2. i don’t understand what’s being said but i’m gonna analyze this from body language alone.

so something we know about san is he often initiates contact first and i’ll be making an analysis talking about this soon. but anyway in a lot of these moments san is just in wooyoung’s space, but woo gets in san’s too and these moments make me realize woo can be just as possessive and territorial as san. because they crave for each others attention. (you can find most of these moments on woosan insta’s acc’s like kn nk, yowoosan, etc.)

here woo is talking to a fan but san suddenly pops out of nowhere and waves his hand as if he’s waving the fan away. i’m not sure what else this could have meant. i don’t think he was waving at the staff(who i think are in front of them) to leave ‘cause he was looking at the camera. he then left and came back and wrapped his arm around woo and left again and then came back and said something to woo, but woo looked annoyed. possibly bc he was trying to interact with the fan and san kept invading his space. to me it looked like san was being possessive, craving woo’s attention esp bc woo’s interest and attention was on the fan at that time.

i’m not gonna post all of the moments bc this post is already too long, but i think the fansigns showed how they both want each others attention and how possessive they can be. san’s jealousy appears more often because he’s just generally more transparent than woo. but anyway i’m tired, thas it.

bee, lovely, angel, i wanted to send this simply to tell you once again how much i love and appreciate you. it doesn’t warrant any kind of a response, don’t overwork yourself, love, i know you’ve been a little overwhelmed (or that’s what i gathered) and i want you to remember to be kind to yourself, to remember there are people that love you and are proud of you, me included.

i went to a record store today and got 44 for £45, one of which completed my set of a band’s discography.

i love music as much as i love words, as much as i love dps, as much as i love and care for you.

theres something magical about tangible music, i think, tapes, records, cds. maybe that’s why i took up the violin, another tangible way to make music.

in all of this, i was thinking about music, what makes it so beautiful, and i think it’s that it never means exactly the same thing to two people.

neither does poetry.

it means one thing to the person who created it, and everyone else who comes in contact with it takes away something else.

i don’t think anyone else in the world hears cecily smith (bonus track) and thinks of the person they dated who cheated on and ghosted them and took all their friends but now works at their favourite and most convenient takeout place and they run into unexpectedly from time to time

i don’t think anyone else reads the lilacs last in the dooryard bloom’d and thinks about neil and todd and them and their friend

which is why words mean so much to me, and scare me

and why i leave these letters in your inbox like anonymous brown paper packages tied up in twine with sweets in them. or pastries. sometimes both. nice things, is the point.

because i want to try and articulate a thank you and an appreciation and a show of love to you for the words you put on my dash that make my days like this better, even when they’re not for me, even when they’re fics about getting kissed by james potter (maybe especially when theyre fics about getting kissed by james potter /hj)

because i want to tell you that you’ve come to be my favourite words to read, and my favourite voice to hear without hearing, my favourite url to see.

not just because you’re kind and funny and sweet, which i’ve learned ever more since i started writing you letters, but because you’re inherently you, and inherently you seems to fit really well with inherently me, and makes me feel seen and heard, even though you don’t really know me, and until now, we’d never really interacted.

44 for £45 is an absolute bargain oh my god - music is certainly something that means a lot to me to. i love how certain songs can find a way to encapsulate all of the feelings that i can't manage to put into words myself, how i can show someone a song and they could interpret it totally differently to myself, yet we'd both still be valid in our meanings. i swear i find out more interesting facts about you the longer we talk - i adore the violin but gave up playing ages ago :( i am however re-learning the guitar, which i'm really excited about! i'm nowhere near perfect, but everyone has to start somewhere

i certainly have some songs i adore associated with some not so good memories, which makes them somewhat bittersweet to listen to, i guess.

god, are you trying to make my heart burst? i swear every word from you makes it swell, and i'm still in shock that these are actually meant for me and not someone else who's far more worthy. if my words can touch you even a fraction of the amount yours touch me, i'll be over the moon. 😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?

...you're probably not gonna believe me, but honestly I don't think so? Even when I'm writing scenes that make me cackle at the thought of the tears that'll be wept for having read them, those tears are never the primary reason I do those scenes. They're just a fun bonus XD

⛔ Do you have a fic you started, but scrapped?

Oof, many. Too many to name. And I'm not just talking about AvA stuff; I think the first fic I ever tried to write was gonna be a Doctor Who and Invader Zim crossover. I don't think I ever got past the first three paragraphs. I had to be, like, twelve at the time. We don't even have that computer in our house anymore. Now I have an ao3 account, so everyone can see all my abandoned projects. I know it's shameful but I don't have the heart to orphan them /lh /hj

❌ What’s a trope you will never write?

Most of the things you'd probably expect to be on a DNI list, but if you're after a less obvious answer...hmm...you see the problem is I spend a lot more brainpower thinking of what I do want to write than of what I don't want to write XD I guess I don't plan on ever writing gross-out humor; personally it always breaks my immersion and I'd like for my readers to remain immersed. Oh, and grimdark, I don't think I could ever write a grimdark story.

💔 Is there a fic of yours that broke your heart?

You might find this hard to believe too, but not yet! I've gone to pieces over other people's fics numerous times but my own writing doesn't seem to illicit that response from me on quite the same level. (Though...I have been taken aback by my own fics before. I know that's not quite the same emotional wheelhouse but still XD)
