so, i recently revisited a list of unfinished games (lots) and between those was bomberman max red challenger, at first most of what remmembered about it was just going endlessy through the levels of zaurus star and then giving up so in the end i got curious about it's ost and got inspired to redraw one of the cutscenes in a movie like style

Game Pickups

1. GTA V Medkit: This fits in well with the game as it is a carbon copy of a real life medkit and GTA is a game set in real life. It is one of my favourite pickups as it allows you to restore to 100% health no matter what the current damage you have is and you know that you have been healed by the zip noise it creates.

2. RDR2 health tonic: This fits in well as medicines in the time of when RDR2 was set would have not been in pill form but in bottled form. It is a great system as it actually is kept in the satchel of the character instead of having to go and find it. It also must be ingested by the character instead of having to stand on or near it to get the benefits from it.

3. Bomberman Tournament: This fits well as it is a fantasy/sci-fi game with monsters you have to defeat with bombs so it would make sense having a random potion that just heals you to max in this magical land as potions are more fantasy related items. This is the most memorable healable for me as it was from one of the games my mum gave me with her Gameboy when I was young. You pick it up, but you can only hold one at a time and if you pick up others they automatically get consumed.

4. Mario Kart: This fits well as Mario is set in fantasy worlds with fantasy creatures and a floating rainbow block has the ability to just work well for power ups in these worlds as it almost looks like a magical version of the power up blocks from Super Mario. This is a well known pickup globally as Mario kart is a loved game by everyone as it is culturally friendly and very accessible game for people at the time as there is almost no words to read so it is okay for all cultures. With some you can pick up whilst using effects while others it just destroys the block and gives you no reward.

5. Halo: This fits well as it is a sci fi game against aliens so the alien technology and weaponry will be very different to the humans bullets and simple weapons. The plasma grenades stick to enemies and have a blue glow follow them when thrown. I like it as a pick up as they are different sorts of grenades and they stick to enemies giving you a guaranteed kill and it could damage some of the enemy troops around too.
