Because we all wanted a second one! (wheres the first 100?)
Starting off: EATING!! How do they Eat!
It would take so long to explain like all the headcanons and stuff that would lead to them consuming food but to make a long story short: Humans eat food, yes? So, why not model these robots to eat food as well? For the most part, they use the DVD method i mentioned in some other post. The screen briefly slides open to allow food, food goes in, screen closes...it's seamless and technologically advanced. To make the act of eating food enjoyable, the Bomberman Bros (and other mechanical lifeforms) all have taste receptors that are slightly randomized (the younger bros were inclined to avoid vegetables the way a child human would but Aqua is fine with them), and to be more specific, the parts that locate taste are somewhere in the throat area of a human, to compare it to their terms. Besides tasting good, it also gives a small boost of energy. It should be noted that they don't strictly need human food to live (White says you should eat for energy, but I've only seen him eat when he's relaxing), but not eating regularly is designed to make you feel really uncomfortable in order to encourage that they do eat food.
...Also, there's a similar philosophy for power ups found in battle. Those little plates with icons on them can usually be taken directly though the hands, as they're nothing more than collections of data. The name of the game is endurance! If someone like Green were to try and, i dunno, make eight bombs with max fire, it would likely exhaust him instantly. Those data chips stop you from nuking yourself when you try to do a little extra in combat. Same for skulls- like a computer virus! Also, they seem to taste absolutely horrible.
SO IF THE BOMBERMAN ARE DESIGNED TO SAVE THE UNIVERSE, WHY DIDN'T THEIR MAKERS MAKE THEM ALL-POWERFUL?
Humans are social creatures. It's only natural that the intelligent folks who designed the prototypes for the eight would want them to experience the ups and downs of being truly alive. It's why they have simulated tear ducts, why they have to eat or else they get uncomfortable, why they're all a family. The things that get in the way during combat facilitate the reason we fight in the first place. The humanity instilled into White keeps him going, no matter how hard it gets.

SPARE PARTS, PLEASE?
Getting damaged is to be expected when everyone uses such an explosive tactic. Be it an arm or a leg, it's usually repairable.
To start, the internal systems usually get temporarily shut off. There's actually like 2 or 3 spare sets of limbs, and a couple of vital parts for all the bombers somewhere in HQ, but any damage is usually recovered, so it's as simple as welding the missing part back into place or running some bug fixes. (Also, you should probably find a way to turn off pain receptors. I know they're there to keep the humanity rule in check, but a tiny part got loose in White's head once and it hurt like a BITCH)
It's usually White who monitors the physical health of his siblings, but Blue often has to step in and help with more technological aspects. Actually, Blue often teaches White that there's more to their abiltiies that meets the eye.
RESPAWNING!!
Hurts like a bitch before your body comes back because the pain of getting blown up takes a while to go away, but you get used to it. You don't get rebuilt- you just get rejuvenated. Kinda like a quick system refresh. Feels great. Lets you spring back into action. Also, the "STAGE CLEAR" areas in a level have the same effect.
AND ALL THE THINGS THAT WE FORGOT!
Some of the siblings have a tendency to stutter over their words in emotionally taxing situations. That's actually just the voice chip getting a little weird due to all the processes running at once. Yknow how your laptop screen goes black and gets laggy when you have too many apps open at the same time?
Thanks to their synthetic skin, the siblings are all more or less immune to accumulating rust. White's not a big fan of water, but he trucks through it for the sake of whoever needs him.

Purple Falcon character sheet: Paple
(WARNING: SPOILERS FOR BOMBERMAN 64 AND BOMBERMAN JETTERZ)
Name:Paple
Real name: Abigail Stopstick
Age:19
Occupation: thief and vigilante
Goal: still as many powerful and magical artifacts She can find before Sirius does.
Bio:Abigail used to be an ordinary girl who used to work at a fast food restaurant. However, she got fired for putting a little prank on one of the workers. As she was searching for a new job a voice call to her saying that she has been chosen to be one of the Omi-Shard holders and was asked if she wanted to join. Not having this excitement before in her life she enthusiastically replied with yes. The voice then told her his name: Altair. they both do introductions and went off to their journey to find these shards. But first, she needs a group. Hearing this, Altair leads her to the jetterz Museum where the bomberman creation machine and the two other selected Shard Holders are. They both exchange their names including their team names: The Orange Boars and The Green Spiders. Altair then explains the groups that they have right now were dead bomber men who have been revived thanks to their ghostly Pals or acquaintances as he calls them. He then asked who Abby wants to revive? After thinking for a little while Abigail finally chooses to revive the bomber shitennou since they haven't lived long enough to appreciate life. The reason why she knows about these bombers is because she actually watched all the encounters white(jetter) had with them. After finding the Charaboms transferring back to who used to be these bombermen she finally has her group and decides to call her group The Purple Falcons since she's a really fan of the Majestic Falcons call and she also likes the color purple. After they have found all of the Omi-shards and applied them to each group member/ leader they work as thieves and vigilantes feeling from the rich and giving to the poor while also stealing some powerful and magical artifacts first before the wrong person steals it.
Trivia:
1 when she is not stealing or going on missions she is performing on stage as Strawbeat or living her own life as a regular human.
2 Abigail likes sukuyaki
3 Abigail loves the ocean and likes to go swimming with mermaid bomber at the beach in order to see the fishes .
4 Abigail it's also pretty skeptical when it comes to working with other thieves. in fact, it was this one time where she left a thief alone during a cave-in because she didn't trust that said Thief. After that day she still regrets it.
5 she keeps a log book about her daily missions inside of one of the vehicles the Shitennou and/or Paple have.
6 Paple is so afraid of Max that whenever she sees a Max unit she won't immediately lead the others to the opposite direction. You see, she actually saw the final battle between white and Max during their confrontation. And she realized how ruthless Max can be when he's out of control. She is still terrified of him til this day.
7 Paple also has the secret pet cat called Skiddles. She is a gray cat with darker gray stripes.
8 the falcons can fly with their capes(kinda similar to the sky children in sky children lf light)

realized i don’t think i ever shared my rabbit hole of headcanons as for bombermen following standard shonen anime physics in a universe where, as the show goes on, it becomes increasingly clear barely anything else does, transcript under the cut

in general i give them heavy themes of malleability, honestly, which goes down to an unwell level with their nature as a whole stemming from another headcanon on the bomb crystal being an anchor for universal causality
since in the show bombermen are shown not only to have their bomb-creating abilities but highly-skilled ones, like mighty, the MA-units, and some of the shitennou, having supernatural physical ability compared to anything demonstrated by non-bomberman characters (with the closest we get being birdy, who still loses quickly to max)
my favorite example of those skills being mighty's flashstepping to the other side of the room just to touch misty's ears]

i was wondering that too! but they blush and mighty had those bandaids, which seems to suggest they have bloodflow, and shiro's shown getting nauseous enough he needs to throw up in several episodes - i think they probably have a different layout, but they most likely have organs and circulatory fluid of some sort!
i've been mostly attributing their lack of visible injury from bombs being a result of the aforementioned supernatural physical ability in a durability aspect, with the general logistics of it being like
in a universe where most beings are subject to the normal limits of a physical form, bombermen operate more on something like video game logic, where while they're born as weak as anything else they have the unique ability to increase their potential far beyond what should be rational limits due to the bomb crystal as an anchor for causality making them operate not on a physical but conceptual level
they effectively have no level cap because theoretically, if they just kept training and kept fighting to hone their combat capabilities/"stats" nonstop, they would rack up so much figurative exp that they'd be like the only video game protagonist in a world of npcs
i'd say mighty and momo are about the closest we see to that, but it's not like a video game where the rest of the world ceases to exist and you can just grind nonstop with no consequences - they still have to do every other part of their life, and as they get stronger, they start to become more and more alienated from the fears and concerns of the "normal" people around them
basically, passive reality-warpers who are unaware of their own ability, with that ability being given in the first place to make them unwitting (initially, at least) guardians of the bomb crystal because they're obviously not going to let the place they live be destroyed]
