I'm trying to eat more beans so I finally bought the Bob's Red Mill 13-Bean Soup Mix...which is just a bag of 13 assorted beans...and the soup is so good. I added onion, garlic, parsley, celery, and carrot, and a little store-bought veg broth, but the beans create their own hearty broth that's not necessarily one distinct bean-flavor, it's an interesting combination. I think next, I will try to cook it as a base for chili

Hate when I'm trying to find a recipe for smth I've never made before and all the recipes I find have completely different ingredients and/or proportions and/or preparation steps. Especially when it's something I don't want to have to waste ingredients on if I have to trial-and-error my way through. You want me to waste half a bag of flour?? In this economy????

Mike walters loses respect for making fun of gluten free granola. He does not even know that many oats are not celiac safe and that clarifying granola is gluten free is necessary for a gluten intolerant person. Also gluten free granola is sooooo tasty
