Saw a tag on something in my notes and now I'm really curious - which versions of the musical characters do you guys like the most? And if you feel like explaining that'd be so cool!!

For example, I struggle to pick a favorite x-juice actor because there are things I love and appreciate about all of their performances. They each feel like such unique characters! I think the ones I constantly come back to are koberjuice and blumjuice, but honestly the musicaljuice in my head somehow combines aspects of each different actor's portrayal so that it's almost like he's a mish-mash of all of them. I think brightjuice is like the blueprint, and then specific aspects or features of the others kinda got superimposed over him lol

I will say that I absolutely love janissejuice, to the point that he instantly became a favorite. He reminds me a lot of koberjuice, actually! I haven't seen collettejuice yet, but trust me when I say I Like What I See 😳👀

As for other characters, I've seen fewer of the swings / tour versions I think? Like I've only ever seen Elizabeth's Lydia, or David's Adam, etc, and I've not seen the tour irl.

I think Elizabeth's Lydia was one of my favorites, and she's the one I picture whenever I think about musical!Lydia. I also adore Presley's Lydia, she was the most "teenager" version and I adored her characterization. I've only seen the swing tour Lydia, and I'm so excited to see the main tour Lydia at some point!

David does my favorite version of Adam, but I still enjoy both the tour and Rob's version! I would love to see Blum or Kober's version, though, just to see what it was like. Blum did my absolute favorite version of Otho, and I was just lucky enough to get to see his version live with @swimmingclassicrockpizzawombat last fall. Leslie's Delia will always own my heart, and while I tend to love Adam's version of Charles I like the tour version from what I've seen! I love the tour version of Barbara, she's so spunky and funny and I love her energy.

I'm sure I'm forgetting someone or something, especially since I'm typing this on the fly. Needless to say that I love a lot of the versions of characters, both across the Broadway version as well as on tour. Please add your favorites, I want to hear what everyone thinks!!

♻️ A scrapped idea for a current WIP

I don't have many for my current WIPs (not yet, anyway), but one idea that I've decided to toss involved a battle between two versions of Beetlejuice -- Bright!juice and Blum!juice. I love the idea of two Beejs accidentally being summoned (I haven't figured out how that happens yet, btw) but I don't really like the battle idea -- I think they're more likely to team up and wreak havoc together.
