It's always graveyards. Why is it always graveyards? They're creepy as hell and, well... that's it. On the bright side, the Protection Spirits watching the gates recognize him and realize the danger he's in. Well, maybe he wasn't in real danger because the Bats and Birds don't really do the whole purposefully harming civilians things, but they are scary as hell! Chasing him down like a bat straight outta hell- obviously he was gonna run! They cornered him! Maybe he'll invest in getting them lessons in how to interact with people in and out of costume?
Honestly, Nightwing, Danny expected better of you. At least Red Hood and Signal know how to treat innocents.
Here's the thing about Protection and Guardian Spirits, though. They don't like intruders. If you're running from something and you don't have time to ask permission to enter, you best say "thank you" and bring them shiny things on your next visit. If you do have time to ask permission, you ask permission. If they think you're a threat or rude, they won't let you enter whatever they're guarding.
"Thank you," Danny said as he slowed to a walk further into the graveyard, the sound of the gates slamming closed behind him confirmation that the Bat and his gaggle wouldn't be following him in.
Wasting no time, Danny pulled a piece of chalk from his pocket. It was a handy little thing he'd picked up during his stay in the House of Mysteries. Draw and door, tell it where you wanna go, open it, and go through! Beetlejuice style. Though, unlike what the Handbook for the Recently Deceased says, these doors won't actually open a door to the afterlife. He fixed that tiny glitch a while ago.
Anyway, a quick few chalk lines on the side of a mausoleum later, and Danny was opening a door to Fawcett, Philadelphia. Probably not the best choice, considering that he was trying to stay away from the Justice League, but it's better than Metropolis.
"Whoa." Damn it! He should've stayed home. "What was that, mister?"
Danny made sure the door closed behind him, praying for strength. Why did he feel like several deities were laughing at him? "Hey, kid. Can you, um, maybe not say anything about that?"
The kid, short brown hair and a red jacket stood out the most to Danny for some reason, seemed very amused. "You're gonna have to buy my silence."
Again, Danny let out a quiet, long suffering sigh. "Coffee is so not worth it." Looking at the kid, he said, "Alright, fine. I was getting coffee anyway, I'll buy ya lunch. Know any good places?"
Grinning, the kid cheered, "Hell yeah! Follow me!"
Resigned, Danny followed after the kid, easily keeping pace. About a block later, he figured he should probably get the kid's name. "I'm Danny."
"Billy."
"No last name?"
"Fae rules, dude. What's your excuse?"
He had to give it to him. "Touché."
Another three blocks of walking, Billy finally stopped at a cafe. It was a quaint place with stained white brick and a dark grey roof. There were metal chairs and tables outside the building surrounded by a wrought iron fence. The table umbrellas and the awning over the black door were light blue, matching the curtains in the inside.
The inside walls were painted baby blue with a white ceiling and a pinewood floor. The tables and chairs were all stained black with light pink cushions and table cloths. The curtains, as observed before, were all baby blue, tied back with baby pink ribbons. The lights were barely yellow, giving the room a warm feel. The counters were white with black paneling on the outside and white granite as the tops.
"Welcome in," the young man at the register greeted with a smile, "What can I get you two started with today?"
Danny envied the man. He'd obviously not been doing this long enough to gain the veteran's shine to his eye. He turned to look at the menu after telling Billy to get whatever he wanted. A mistake he'll probably pay for. "I'd like a large Red Eye, equal parts coffee and espresso, with cinnamon, honey, chocolate syrup, mint, and vodka, please."
The 'newbie' light in the man's eyes dimmed a little bit. "Um, we don't carry vodka." Glad that's the only thing he's worried about. Priorities.
Danny clicked his tongue. "Oh, well, it was worth a shot. I'd like everything else, though, please. Mix it at your own discretion."
"Alright," he was very valiant to go back to grinning, "Anything else?"
Danny motioned for Billy and the kid stepped up. "Can I get a large mocha, three chocolate chip cookies, and two sandwiches?"
The blond entered the order. "Of course! That'll be $25.37." A quick card swipe from Danny. "Thank you very much, we'll have your order out to you soon!"
The two didn't say a word as they chose a table in the corner. Danny let Billy take the seat that was open to the rest of the cafe so he wouldn't feel cornered. He had a good view of the door, though, so he wasn't complaining.
"So, how'd you do that?" Billy asked after they'd gotten their orders.
"How'd I do what?" Danny sipped his drink.
"How'd you walk outta that wall? It's solid!"
"Magic."
"I guessed that much."
"Then why'd you ask?"
"Will you teach me?"
"No."
"You didn't even think about it!"
"Okay," He paused. "No."
"Not fair." he pouted.
Putting his drink on the table, Danny summed as much fake-it-till-you-make-it energy as he could. "Magic isn't a toy and takes years of practice to get a handle on, not to mention you have to actually have an aptitude for it before you can even try. Besides, I don't know you nearly well enough to trust you with anything else."
Billy finished the cookie he was eating. "I can do it! You just gotta teach me!"
Another sigh that Danny had stopped counting. "Look, you seem like a good kid, but I'm not gonna teach you magic."
"Why not!"
"However," he continued, ignoring the demand, "I'm not gonna leave ya fully defenselessness."
"What do you mean?" Billy backed away slightly, his eyes narrowing as he moved to be able to run quickly.
Another sip. "Based off of the dirt you're covered in, the grease in your hair, and the overall poor condition of your clothes, I'm gonna bet that you're a street kid. So," he pulled a small card from his pocket, very aware that Billy was watching his hand aptly, "I'm going to leave you with this."
Slowly, the brunet took it and turned it over. "What it is?"
The white card had the initials DP in the middle, circled by an Ouroboros. The initials were completely solid, but the snake of the Ouroboros was made up of tiny runes of protection and health and healing and good fortune.
"My calling card. If you're ever in danger, hold that to your chest and ask for help. I'll be there."
Still obviously suspicious, Billy took a moment to scrutinize the card. It was cute to watch the kid act like he knew what he was looking at or for. When he seemed satisfied, he shoved the card into the inner pocket sewn into his jacket. "Thanks."
"No problem, kid," Pulling out his phone, Danny saw the time and stood, "I've gotta go now. I assume I've sufficiently bought your silence on the whole magic thing?"
Billy grinned, "I guess, but you gotta come visit me, okay?"
He chuckled, "Sure thing. See ya."

Hey, do not attempt to fuck the tall woman in the white lace dress, boots and a black trenchcoat with the large blue hat whose holding an old fashioned breifcase and a bird on her shoulder thats seating 3 seats ahead of you. She has a gun and is on her way to kill her husband. I would suggest that instead you fuck the old lady in the observation car or the butch in the Cafe car.

The Disability Library
I love books, I love literature, and I love this blog, but it's only been recently that I've really been given the option to explore disabled literature, and I hate that. When I was a kid, all I wanted was to be able to read about characters like me, and now as an adult, all I want is to be able to read a book that takes us seriously.
And so, friends, Romans, countrymen, I present, a special disability and chronic illness booklist, compiled by myself and through the contributions of wonderful members from this site!
As always, if there are any at all that you want me to add, please just say. I'm always looking for more!

meet cutes | my hero academia
a/n so random make ni sense and not proof read at all. i just love all these characters sm and think they need more appreciation
characters tenya iida, hanta sero, eijiro kirishima, denki kaminari
masterlist
tenya iida
The bustling streets of Musutafu seemed to never quiet, especially during the evening rush hour. You hurried through the crowded sidewalks, clutching a stack of documents to your chest, trying to avoid any collisions. The sky had a gentle orange hue as the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the city.
Just as you rounded the corner near a small, bustling cafe, a gust of wind swept through, snatching one of your papers and sending it fluttering into the air. You gasped, reaching out futilely as it soared higher.
Suddenly, a blur of blue and white darted past you. Tenya Iida, in his hero costume, appeared, deftly catching the paper mid-air. He landed gracefully, adjusting his glasses and holding the document out to you. The sunlight framed him perfectly, making his appearance even more striking. You accepted the paper, your fingers brushing his gloved hand.
With a warm smile, he nodded at you. “Always happy to assist,” he said, before dashing off again, leaving you standing there with a racing heart and a newfound admiration for the hero who had saved your day.
hanta sero
The neighborhood park was your favorite spot for a morning jog. The dew-kissed grass, the chirping of birds, and the occasional rustle of leaves created a tranquil atmosphere. As you rounded the trail's curve, you noticed a commotion near the large oak tree in the center.
Curiosity piqued, you jogged closer, only to see Sero Hanta struggling with a tangled kite. It was a bright red dragon, its tail hopelessly entwined in the branches. Sero, now a seasoned pro hero, was trying his best to free it using his tape quirk, but the kite remained stubbornly stuck.
You couldn’t help but chuckle, the sound catching his attention. He glanced your way, sheepish but grinning. Without a word, you joined him, climbing onto a lower branch to help. The two of you worked in harmony, hands brushing occasionally, the shared effort bringing an unexpected sense of camaraderie.
Finally, with a triumphant tug, the kite was free. Sero’s laughter was infectious, and as you handed the kite back to the grateful child who owned it, he gave you a thumbs up. “Great teamwork,” he said, his smile brightening your morning.
eijiro kirishima
The gym was quieter than usual, the perfect setting for a late-night workout. You focused on your routine, pushing through the last set of weights when a loud crash echoed through the space. Startled, you looked over to see Eijiro Kirishima, now a well-known hero, sheepishly picking up a toppled barbell.
He caught your gaze and grinned, rubbing the back of his neck. The dim lighting highlighted the sharp angles of his face, and you couldn’t help but notice the genuine warmth in his eyes.
You walked over, offering a hand. Together, you righted the barbell, your fingers brushing against his. He chuckled, a deep, hearty sound that reverberated in the empty gym. “Guess I overestimated myself,” he admitted, his laughter contagious.
As you returned to your workout, you felt his gaze linger, a silent promise of future encounters. There was something undeniably endearing about his honest clumsiness, and you found yourself looking forward to the next time fate would bring you together.
denki kaminari
The arcade was buzzing with energy, neon lights reflecting off the polished floors and flashing screens. You weaved through clusters of gamers until you spotted Denki Kaminari, your former classmate and now a hero known for his electrifying abilities, focused intensely on a claw machine. His usual carefree grin was replaced with a determined frown as he tried to snag a plush.
You couldn’t resist joining in. Standing beside him, you both took turns maneuvering the claw. After a few failed attempts, your skillful finesse finally paid off—the claw gripped the plush snugly and dropped it into the prize chute. Denki’s eyes widened in amazement, his grin returning full force. “No way! You did it!”
He offered you the plush toy, a spark of excitement evident in his eyes as your hands briefly touched. As you walked out together, the arcade’s lights painting playful patterns on his face, Denki chattered enthusiastically about his favorite games and hero escapades. His infectious energy made the evening feel like a whirlwind of laughter and camaraderie, leaving you with a smile and a sense of eager anticipation for what could unfold between you.

when you know, you know.
when they realise just how much they love you ft: nikolai, bram, poe part 1 here content/warnings: mentions of murder (poe's ability), shortttt, i tried to keep it as a gn reader but i might have slipped up at points. i wrote bram without the sword and in current day bcs i was struggling dudesss i think this is my first time trying to write for bram and poe so please take these with a pinch of salt but the lovely person who requested it was so polite i couldn't pass it up <3
nikolai was.. lively to say the least. i mean, just having a partner would be (in his eyes) something tying him down. but, for you? being with you would comply with him wanting to be free. you granted him freedom from all of the negative thoughts that could plague him.
walking down the high-street with you, hand in hand as he pondered all of these ideas. the both of you were strolling towards a cafe that kolya had begged to go to for its "famous pirozhki".
he was not in his usual attire today, wearing a simple blue turtleneck sweater and jeans that fit him loosely. you had to admit, he looked close to incredible when you contrasted it to his usual wear. even though his outfit was different, his personality did not falter in the slightest.
swinging your arms forwards and backwards quickly as you walked, he giggled at whatever joke he was thinking of. turning towards him, you smiled. "kolya?" you poked his upper arm for his attention. "what type of bird is that?" you asked, glancing at a small bird hopping through tree branches. as he looked over, it flew away.
his braid fell over his shoulder, laying softly as he considered making a witty joke. the truth of what he was thinking was of how much he adored you, how you pointed out birdies, watched comedy shows with him, tried your best to cook his favourite meals, put up with him using his ability to scare you..
he thought back to earlier, you had brushed his hair into the usual neat braid as he spoke about what tricks he was going to pull on sigma and fyodor too. he laughed as you frowned, claiming "leave sigma alone, he has a casino to take care of, babysitting you is my job."
bram was, aside from being a vampire and that, perfect. his personality was complex, but you often joked that it wittled down to him just wanting to sleep.
today, you were both sat on the sofa as he spoke about aya. you were brushing through his hair. "she was telling me about some artists, i think she meant composers." he explained, going on about music as you giggled. his hair was showing some curls towards the ends that you were entertaining yourself with.
he was kneeling in front of you so that you could face his back and toy with his hair.
"what is amusing?" he asked politely, refraining from turning around incase he messed up the braid you insisted so stubbornly on putting in his hair. you pulled the long braid onto his shoulder and he saw how you had refined the hair past the bobble into a sweet curl.
he smiled softly as you spoke, "what genre do you want to listen to? does aya have any recommendations?" you teased and he let out a soft chuckle. cherishing these sweeter, saccharine moments were as good at keeping him alive as his ability was.
he put up with the garlic jokes, playing dumb vampire films on tv (he really does love hotel transylvania!), the teasing.. all because he loves you !!
poe was like a breath of fresh air to be around. there was never a need to be loud or extroverted with him. and those were just bonuses on top of getting to hang out with a raccoon all of the time. you were currently in another room trying to trim karl's nails.
key word: trying
ed was in the study, writing another novel. whether it's for ranpo or not? who knows. karl wasn't putting up a fight but more so.. wriggling around. any sane person would have given up by now but with the amount of time this raccoon spends around your shoulders? zero chance.
once you finally finished, you swooped karl into your arms and carried him back to edgar. "ed? have you eaten or drank water recently?" you asked, setting down karl and walking over to him as he closed the book before him. he nodded as he looked up to you from his armchair.
"yes, and i have finished it!" he exclaimed, you furrowed your brows in confusion. "finished what, love?" he presented you the book proudly. "it's just like the film we watched a few weeks ago. you said you wanted to live in that manor house, no?" and that's when it clicked for you.
he carried on, "when you want to go, all the characters will be there! i had to add in another to die but other than that? it's the same!" he excitedly explained. tracing over the clothbound cover with your name on the front, he added one more thing. "oh! and to figure it out in one of the office desk drawers it will let you know what happened."
you smiled at that, he didn't want you to struggle. unfortunately, his ability was only murder mystery related so he couldn't write a book about a sunshine land where nothing went wrong. yet he tried his best, for you!

ೀ⋆。˚ BEAUTIFUL STRANGER ꒰➳ Keigo Takami x Reader GENRE: FLUFF ✧.*
' 13th December 20XX ', the day you first met the love of your life. The day Keigo met ‘his beautiful stranger. ’
A chilled and leisured morning, you had wakened up earlier to get a bright and early start to the day. ‘Early bird gets the early worm’ or in your case, ‘Early bird gets the first and best choice.’ December was one of the less hectic months for you, the year coming to a close. Nonetheless you had to wrap up the reports for the year. The sooner you had finished it, the earlier you’d be free from the confines of work. 6:50 AM, you were fortunate enough to attain a window seat at your favourite cafe, a small minimalistic cafe snugged in the corner of a busy street in Japan, almost unnoticeable. You were greeted with a smoky, and nutty smell when you entered; the aroma of strong coffee. The cafe had a homely and cozy atmosphere to it, vaguely similar to something out of a Ghibli movie. Lined by the lightly frosted window was a rustic wooden bar table, the window had curtains that hung neatly at the sides. The table was adorned by small glass potted plants and two wooden birds. There was a suspended wooden shelf on top, lined with glass jars, a wooden globe and a small mini speaker. The vines from the potted plants on hung loosely on the edge of the shelf. The chairs were brown and fluffy, ensuring comfort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and polite. They provided great service, having greeted you by your name as you were quite the regular at their cafe. Other than bringing them business, they often enjoyed and appreciated your company. Today, a mini wooden chalkboard laid on the counter of their cashier; an appealing offer listed on it. ‘ National Cocoa Day , hot chocolate and selected mochas buy 1 free 1. ‘ You pondered over it, and decided on giving the free mocha or hot chocolate to whoever would order next. You hadn’t really thought much about it, but having two drinks would be a waste especially since you couldn’t drink that much. At least it could potentially make someone’s day. You headed back to your seat with a wooden tray that consisted of your order. A forest green coffee cup, filled with hot chocolate with small marshmallows floated ontop, and a plain croissant. Your laptop was conveniently placed on the table, though before you got started you stared out of the window. The sun soberly rose across the horizon, a hue of yellow surrounding its wake, light overwhelming the once navy blue sky as it turns a lighter shade. The ring of the door chime snapped you out of your daze, reminding you to proceed with your work.
7:20AM, Now, Keigo was adamant on starting his day with any form of caffeine. He had accidentally stumbled onto this specific cafe as he was heading to his agency, quiet and out of attention. It was what he needed, a piece of tranquility to start his day before he got an earful from the commission or from anyone really. The bell hung above the door jingled as a signalled his arrival, his wings folded neatly as he observed the foreign surroundings. A total of 4 guests and 2 staff, which was just perfect as this cafe wasn’t suited for crowding either. The staff greeted him, fully composed which was somewhat surprising and unusual to him but he appreciated it. The overexcitement in the air was more often than not overwhelming, and this reminded him that he was human too. He eased somewhat a lazy smile on his face as he looked at the menu above, though the barista was quick to ask if he was interested in a free mocha instead. He tilted his head curiously, an almost confused and unsure looked on his face. “What for?” He was used to people giving him special treatment, and thought it was just that until the barista responded. The barista shrugged and gestured towards you, who was engulfed in work. You looked as if the work had swallowed you whole and as if you were stuck in that chair, unaware of surroundings. He was barely able to register what the barista had said after. Keigo doesn’t know what it was, though when he looked at you his heart skipped a beat. Frankly, Keigo didn’t believe in love at first sight, but just staring at you had captivated his attention. It felt like something snapped in place, like some kind of fairytale bullshit; he refused to believe in. He was staring for more than a second too long. He had even subconsciously, ruffled his hair to make himself look neater as it was messed up by the morning December breeze when he flew here. He glanced at himself from a reflective surface. His avian mind taking over him without notice, he had the urge to be presentable, and neat to appeal to you. Why was he doing this? Especially over someone he just met? His thoughts were jumbled, he failed to realise his gaze was still attached on you as he innerly freaked out. This felt so unfamiliar, foreign and strange, Keigo didn’t believe in love and attraction, never felt it, unfamiliar with that very concept. You noticed a gaze trained onto you, you turned your laptop brightness on the lowest trying to determine who it was without scaring them off. Looking into the reflection, you noticed a winged individual with a familiar uniform and jacket, one you had seen so many times on TV. That stranger only recognised as Hawks. Being respectful, despite your inner self being pleasantly surprised and shocked, you flashed a tiny sincere smile. Only then did Keigo notice he was staring for too long, he was embarrassed, almost flustered. His heart fluttered when he saw your tiny smile directed at HIM, it was so innocent, so bright and genuine. He’s unaware that your smile has sneakily earned a place in his mind and heart. He didn’t expect that you’d catch on and he quickly turned around looking back at the Barista who was waiting for his answer to a question he didn’t even hear. “Sorry what was that?” He sheepishly apologised, scratching the back of his head with an apologetic light hearted closed eyed smile. The barista repeated what they had said earlier but Keigo was internally conflicted, when he shouldn’t be. He should be familiar with these types of situations especially since his outer persona was supposed to be charismatic, and here he was acting like a school boy with a crush. It was different with you, but he convinced himself he was just out of it today. He was the one that lost composure, his mind scrambled, how the tables have turned. He hadn’t even heard what the barista had said, again. Way too embarrassed to ask them to repeat, he just agreed to it. Too consumed by his thoughts to think straight, his instincts were pumping adrenaline; fight or flight.
He chose flight, he wanted to get out of here as soon as possible because as long as you were in the same room as him, he would be unable to even function properly, unable to think rationally or even form coherent words. He doesn’t know what hit him, it felt like a love potion but worse because it was realistic. As soon as he got his drink, he dipped. Walked out as fast as possible and took to the skies, he felt embarrassed and unusual. You were left confused, wondering if you did something wrong.
Then Keigo remembers he forgot to thank you and mentally swears, he didn’t even say anything to you at all; another excuse to meet you once more. He would have to find you after that encounter because your smile would plague him until he would see you again.
Throughout his day, he wonders what if he stayed in the cafe for a little longer, to approach you and to thank you, to ask for your name, to maybe even exchange a few words and possibly exchange numbers. He’s frustrated he did none of that, and he berates himself for it. What if he never sees you ever again?
‘A fairytale moment could have occurred, but my beautiful stranger will have to remain a stranger until I see them again.’ INSPO. LAUFEY - BEAUTIFUL STRANGER This felt so corny to write

A Vampire Romance
Vampire Au - Ghoap x reader Cw - Violence, Blood, Gore, Sexual themes, foul language, Angst, mental illness
[This came to me suddenly, not proofread. enjoy. xx]
The day had begun like it always has. You awoke from your restless slumber, eyes squinting from the sparkling sun that cascaded across your bed.
Rubbing at your eyes you yawned and got up to start the day as you always have. You find a routine helps relax your mind and keep you busy— it keeps those thoughts away. The ones that eat at your brain, slowly chipping away at your walls that you’ve built up to keep you safe and sound.
Just breathe and all will be well.
Routine. Back to the routine. It was pretty mundane. Normal but it made sure you were doing what you were supposed to, to keep you living, and not an utter mess.
Your home— if you could even call it that. Was more of like a little nook in a wall. Very small and compacted. It creaked and groaned as you walked about doing your business. You could hear the busyness of the city just outside your barred windows. Then you were off to work, taking the trains to your first shift of the day. A small cafe where you waitress during the busy ours of early birds.
There’s the long walk to your destination after getting off your stop but you never minded it. Said to yourself it was good exercise, healthy. Humming to one of your favorite songs as you adjusted your headphones on your head.
Let’s hope for a good day.
You finally arrived to work. Bernie’s. A quaint little place filled with regulars, families, elderly. Nothing ever out of the ordinary happened when you worked. Sure sometimes customers can be grumpy at times but Bernie’s was your saving grace. It was the extra help you needed.
You smiled sweetly at familiar faces, going to the back to get ready for your eight hour shift. Tying your apron around your waist and stuffing your notebook and pen in your pocket.
Let’s do this.
When 4 o’clock hits it’s time to head out for the dead. You were in the back by your locker sighing as you looked at the tips you made today. It was sad to say the least. Luckily tonight meant it was your night shift at Blue Bourbon. You were packing your backpack up when you felt a hand tap your shoulder making you jump.
“Great work today! Always keeping the customers happy.” Oh— it was just your boss Bernie. A sweet elderly fellow that took you in when you needed the extra cash. He mouthed a small sorry when he noticed he gave you a small fright.
“Thanks, B. I’ll see you Monday?” You smile, pulling your bag over your shoulder as you headed towards the exit.
He gives you a silly salute, and you giggle before making your big journey back to the train station. Blue Bourdon was on the other side of the city which meant it took you an hour just to get there. Sometimes even more because the city is always moving, always a constant. By the time you get there it’s getting close to 7. The sun setting early this season.
The atmosphere is different at the Blue Bourbon. There are big time people that come in. It was a fancy strip club on the fancy side of the city. That meant you had to change out of your old clothes into a skimpy little dress. It’s black and tight around all your curves. Not something you’re used to wearing so out of all the girls you’re the only one that wears a pair of sheer tights around your legs, to feel some sort of security. The girls greeted you as you walked out of the changing room in the back.
“Girl, you are smoking. I wish I had that ass.” Violet, Vi— whistled at you as you sat down to touch up your makeup in front of the vanity. You could hear the muffled sounds of the loud music just right outside. Your face flushed which just made Vi giggled.
“Still the shy little fawn huh?”
“God, will you ever drop it?” You laugh with a slight grimace. Fawn. A doe eyed deer the girls would call you when you first were hired. You’d never worn big heels and tight dresses before that when you first walked out of the dressing room your legs were shaking like a newborn fawn. Face speckled red with embarrassment, you felt ridiculous. And the nickname Fauna was given to you. Silver name tag shining above your breast.
You were still just a waitress. There was no way you’d ever walk out on stage. The pay was decent, and it helped pay for the rent. Maybe, if you were more confident and sure you wouldn’t be slumming it but you made do.
“Nope! Love ya, sweetie. See you out there?” Vi chirped as she gave you a smooch on the cheek, adjusting her tiny bra as she got ready to go on stage.
“Sure thing, Vi.” You only murmured with a small smile. You saw her disappear behind the curtains. It was time to get out there yourself.
Here you go.
You walked beyond the curtain to another world. Blue lights illuminated the inside, dark, and sensual for the guests inside. You could feel the music in your bones and it woke you up. One of the managers came up to you with a stressed look on their face. Oh no.
"Fauna, I need you in lounge 141 asap. Pixie called out last minute and I know you're not usually upstairs but my hands are tied."
Fuck. Just your luck. The lounge meant your role is a whole different ball game, one you were not used to but you didn't want to lose your job so you just smiled and agreed like a kiss-ass.
"Sure thing. I'm on it."
"You're a lifesaver! Counting on you, these are important clients so be good!"
Before they left they gave you instructions on what drinks they like and how they are a particular bunch. This puts you on edge but you complied anyhow. The click of your heels was muffled by the sound around the club as you made your way upstairs, ice bucket in hand filled with different liquor of their choice. Being in the lounge meant you had to be very attentive to the client's needs. Butter them up, and get them drinks, it even allowed the clients to get handsy if they paid extra for their lounge. That's what made you nervous. The power of being a waitress downstairs meant that clients weren't allowed to touch you on the floor. You were just there to take orders and hand out drinks, nothing extra. This wasn't what you signed up for.
Deep breathe.
You pulled back the curtain and you definitely weren't prepared for the four men sitting there. They were intimidating, enormous, rugged, and had some years on them. The small space was foggy from the smoke that left a pair of lips. The one who looked the oldest had mutton chops, and a big cigar hanging from his mouth. His arm was wrapped around one of the men, his skin dark, and his face pretty. Then there were the other two, one with a mohawk and the other had an adoring scar across his lip, hair an ashy blonde. They sat side by side and seemed to be sharing a cigarette.
"Now, who might you be?" The man with the cigar said as you set the ice bucket on the table in the middle of the circle booth. You didn't realize your hands were shaking, you clasped your hands in front of you as you gave your best smile.
"You can call me Fauna, I'm filling in for Pixie toni-"
"Lik' fawn? Ye git th' legs fur it." The one with the mohawk whistles low, his accent thick, Scottish you believe. His eyes trailed you up and down with no shame. You instantly feel the heat hitting your face, your mouth agape from the interruption. Hopefully, they couldn't tell. You were about to speak again but another voice spoke. The voice is deep and not American sounding either. You couldn't quite place it yet.
"Behave, you fuckin' mutt."
Man, he spooked you. But his words hit a spot inside you, a feeling you've never felt before. Almost like butterflies in the pit of your stomach.
Then there was a bit of laughter shared before the oldest stood up with the pretty boy still draped along his side, his face nuzzling into his neck intimately. This was all too much. You were not used to this. You felt like you shouldn't be here right now, it's so hot in here, its too muc-
"It was nice meeting you, love but it's time for my boy and I to go. Good luck.." He whispered the end of his sentence to you and he gave one more glance to the other two with a grin before taking his leave with what you assume is his boyfriend. This is so strange. But you had a job to do. Make the customers happy.
"Um, anyway, I'm here to get you gentlemen whatever you need. More whiskey?" You asked, grabbing the glass bottle from the ice, popping the top off, and pouring some into the blonde's cup. When pouring the Scots drink you had to lean over the table a bit, there was no space to walk over when the huge brooding blonde legs were in the way. You could feel your dress hiking up in this position and suddenly you felt a large warm hand glide up the back of your thigh. You shot up straight with a squeak 'Nice tights' you could hear the blonde mumble, before you stepped back a bit to create space, his hand falling in his lap.
"'n' ye tellt me tae behave, Simon!" The Scot scoffed with a laugh as he knocked his knee against Simons. Simon only grumbled out one thing and it sounded like a playful warning. Johnny.
Simon and Johnny.
You just tugged at your dress a bit, mumbling a small thank you. You closed the cap on the bottle before placing it back into the ice bucket. Now there you stood with your hands clasped in front of you. This was awkward. God, you wanted to leave. Instead, you're getting groped by a dangerously handsome man. You couldn't help staring at them, observing them, both were handsome and rugged in their own ways. You can't deny beauty when you see it.
"Juist lik' a deer caught in headlights. We dinnae bite, sweetness" Johnny smiled wide, his teeth white and shining, and you couldn't help but notice that his canine teeth looked shar-
"Come 'ere love, hae a seat." He gestured, stopping your thoughts and bringing you back to the present. You stepped forward towards the booth once more, Simon's huge frame still in the way, blocking an entrance to Johnny. Simon sat there sipping his drink as if you weren't trying to get across. Then Johnny scooted closer to Simon, the space between them now gone, your brows furrowing with confusion. Where were you going to sit now?
"Siiii..." Johnny sings urging him to do something, and that something makes you gasp. His arm wrapped around your waist pulling you over his lap. Your legs filtered between the space where he spread his thighs wide for you. Your bum rested on the large muscle of his. Just like taking a photo with Santa during the holidays. Your hands instantly flew to his chest, careful to not fall right on top of him from the sudden moment. You caught a small tug of Simons's lip as he drank his whiskey, his other hand resting on your hip.
Johnny starts talking but you feel like you're outside your body. You nod half listening too focused on the feeling of his fingers softly grazing one of your knees, too focused on when Simon squeezes your hip here and then, like he's telling you to pay attention to Johnny.
And that’s all that became of your night. They never asked you for anything, never went beyond their simple touches in that moment. It was like all you were there for was a vessel to listen to them talk. Or at least Johnny talk. Simon was silent the entire time. Simon carefully set you to your feet and made sure you were steady, both collecting their coats to leave before the sun came back up. You didn't even realize how late it was. It was a blur, your mind had gone foggy, it was strange like you were in a trance.
Before leaving Johnny handed you a huge wad of cash, more than you've ever gotten here in the six years of your employment at Blue Bourbon.
"Cheers fur th' evenin', sweetness" He winked before giving your bum a tap, your face flushing once more as you watched them leave. Johnny is slightly in front of Simon. Simon's hand wrapped at the back of his neck guiding him towards the exit. Your eyes glanced back down to the pile of cash in your shaky hands.

Hellows...we needs more star sanses! Requesting for these beautiful skeles in a first meeting with a fem reader, but they kinda bumped and accidentally kissed each other. UwU
pls. take ur time and take care of yourself too 💛
I'm Sorry, got stressed that ink's part didn't get saved and never touched this again- I'M SORRY TRAVELER!!
Featuring: Dream, Blue and Ink.
Masterlist
Blue
"Shit shit shit I'm late!"
You breathe heavily while running as fast as you could, you've woken up an hour later than normal, trying to get to the cafe you work in as fast as possible, this has happened before and your boss was not happy about it. You were barely even awake, since your vision was a bit dizzy from not eating breakfast and rushing, that you didn't even see the skeleton with a blue cape in your way, bumping into him and falling down.
You let out a squeak as you felt his chest hit yours, his teeth against your lips, a short kiss that you quickly broke by moving your body up, facing the monster's empty sockets as a darkish shade of blue spread all over his face.
"I'm so so so so sorry sir!!" H-here, let me help you out.."
As you got up, you extended your hand towards the unknown skeleton, which he grabbed as support to get up, passing his hands on his clothes to try and get some dust off.
"Uuh... Thanks..."
When he looked back, you were no longer standing in front of him, it took him a while to see you in a crowd running inside his favorite cafe..
Dream
Another day, another room to clean... You were taken by Nightmare as a maid, not that you had any better choice since between old guys who'd give you a tight, sexualized uniform plus giving you glares and staring at your private parts and the king of negativity who'd let you live on the palace and give you a good enough payment + an actual proper maid uniform, you didn't have to think twice, did you?
"Huh? What was that noise?"
You turned your head around not seeing anyone, yet the sound of a vase breaking certainly caught your attention, maybe it was killer and dust fighting? No.. they were on a mission.. maybe one of Killer's cats decided to roam the place and broke something? Well, whatever it was, you were the one that needed to clean it anyways.
Your footsteps echoed though the hallway, you signed seeing the broken glass on the floor, quickly grabbing your broom and sweeping it to the trash, yet you almost didn't hear heavy breathing since a figure ended up bumping into you full force, throwing both him and you on the ground, your lips smashing into his for seconds before he lifts himself up.
"Oh gosh, I'm so so so sorry! We need to get you out of this place!"
You look at him with a confused expression as he grabs your hands, lifting you up too.
"Uhh... Sir I work here.."
"What?"
"Dreamy boy come back here!"
Killer's voice was heard from the distance, the unknown skeleton looked back and started running, disappearing on the halls as you see both Killer and Dust run past you with a knife and bones on their hands.
"There isn't a normal day in this godman Castle.."
Ink
It was a beautiful day outside, birds were singing, flowers were blooming, on days like this, humans like you... Were walking home with groceries bags on your hands.
It didn't take long for you to get home, you lived some minutes from the market anyway. You unlock the door with the key, placing the bags down on the kitchen table and begin to unpack, organizing everything in their designed places.
"Fuck I forgot the eggs."
You sign, hitting your forehead with your hand as you turn around, ready to leave, were the eggs necessary now? Not really. Then why did you go to the store again? Because you knew you'd forget about them the next time.
The cashier looks at you confused and holds back a giggle when he sees you carrying the box of eggs on your hands, scanning your card and asking if you want a bag, which you decline, it's just some eggs, they really aren't that heavy, he smiles and wishes you a good day for the second time.
You were getting close to your house, you smiled, thinking about getting back in your pj's and watching cartoons all day, or maybe playing some video games..
Your thoughts are quickly interrupted by a skinny skeleton running against you, bumping into your body making you trip and fall, his teeth ended up pressed against your lips, yet the kiss was broken quickly as he lifted himself off you.
"Heh, not even taking me to dinner first?"
He giggles as you look to your right, seeing the eggs cracked open on the stone ground.
"My eggs!! Fuck now I'll have to go back to the store again..."
You mumbled touching the open box ripped on the ground, you turn your head to look at the man, yet in his place was a note and a 5 dollar bill.
'Sorry there!' was written on the piece of paper, leaving you with five dollars and already a bad start to your morning.

GOJO x READER | MY BLUE MOURNING BIRD
cure!reader death , angst, smut, sexual content, trauma. gn pronouns, teenager! gojo satoru, anal sx, note: hi, I'm still on hiatus but I wanted to post this since its just rotting in drafts. I'll be out of hiatus I'll post moore ( smut..just pure smut /j) orignal on ao3; translator is @ihrtbrainz REQUEST - OPEN | CLOSED
The sun was bright as the wind howled the sound of leaves rustling filled the air, bright sky blue eyes gleamed as his eyes locked in with yours. you felt a smile tug on your lips warm as a summer day, your fingers entwined with one another as you stroll in sync – side by side, the air was fresh as it could be the warm feeling of your fingers interlaced creating a comforting feeling within each other.
“Your eyes are as pretty as a morning blue bird, Satoru.” He laughed “Oh shut up! That's so cheesy, man!’ Satoru loved cheesy and cringy.
The sky turned gray and the now dark clouds cried. Satoru now stood in front of a grave. The grave was poorly taken care of and destroyed by age. He fell onto his knees as his fingers dug and crawled into the mud the tears of the clouds created.
Satoru sat up from his bedding in a cold sweat, rubbing his eyes as his breath heavy. He wasn't able to sleep after you disappeared, it kept him up at night even when he was able to fall into a slumber that didn't help since he suffered from dreams, which were more like nightmares than actual dreams. They would always begin in the same way as if it was a twisted game his own mind was playing on him; peaceful and comforting dreams would fill his mind before transforming into a depressing once peaceful dream filled with despair so heavy it would cause his chest to ache.
He opened his bedside drawer, blindly digging through it his fingers in the darkness of his bedroom brushing against numerous things until he felt it.
The polaroid picture your parents took of you and him when your days were still filled with bliss. You and Satoru were sitting in an inu cafe. A basset hound puppy got on top of Satoru's head as you both were about to get your picture taken by your parents.
The polaroid taken as you laughed which showed off your smile as Satoru smiled at the camera before the feeling of the puppy could register in his head just moments to late before the polaroid was taken.
He misses those days. He misses you. He misses the way you smiled along with the sound of your loud hyena-sounding laugh, as Satoru looks back on the fond moments he had spent beside you; his cheeks were no longer dry and were now a wet with his tears, A hiccup arouse from his throat as he tenderly ran his thumb on the polaroid.
Why did you have to disappear?
Was it him?
Satoru Gojo.
Was he the cause of your disappearance?
His stomach twisted into a tight knot as the thought of him being the cause of your disappearance. Why wouldn't these stupid thoughts leave his head? Of course he wasn't, why would his mind even come up with that possibility?
Is what he would tell himself in a pitiful attempt to block away that thought whenever he would look at polaroids he took of you it wouldn't make him feel better like his mother said but instead made him feel even more sorrowful.
Satoru thought about burning them and pretending he never had never ever known you, he attempted to burn a picture of you by holding it up to a lighter as soon as the corner of the polaroid caught on fire panic rose just as quickly it was lit just as quickly it was put out your face in the picture was burned into a charcoal black.
Never again.
oh how, he hopped you would come back.
he wants this to be just an awful dream he would awake from.

Drinks and Confessions
Shinso x Bakugou x Reader
Word Count: 1.5k
Warnings: cursing
@pearl-blue-musings I figured you'd want to read it lolz
The three of you hanging out and having drinks wasn’t so uncommon. What was uncommon was Katsuki drinking as much as he did that night.
“You wanna slow down there?” Hitoshi asked him.
Katsuki glared at his boyfriend and downed the rest of his second drink.
Hitoshi put his hands up in surrender.
You returned to your living room with a bottle of your favorite wine, a bottle of Hitoshi’s, and two wine glasses, “Geez, Suki, you have a rough day or something?” you ask as you settle on the floor across the coffee table from them.
“Something like that,” he gruffs.
You shrug, open Hitoshi’s bottle of wine, and pour him a generous glass before handing it to him.
“Thanks, kitten.”
Again, nothing uncommon, but recently the pet name he had for you had started making you feel hot at the collar.
“I need another drink.”
“Get some water first, Kats,” Hitoshi ordered.
“Fuck off,” Katsuki flipped him the bird to really nail down his point.
You watched the blond as he waltzed into your kitchen like he owned it, which he technically did, since he often paid your rent without your asking or permission, and poured himself another glass of whiskey, “What’s got his panties in a twist?” you asked Hitoshi.
“He’s nervous,” he said into his wine glass before taking a long drink of wine.
You snorted, “Katsuki? Nervous? About what? He’s only ever nervous around All Might and emotional things.”
Hitoshi chuckled as the man in question rejoined the two of you and dropped into his place beside his lover. The purple haired man draped his legs across Katsuki’s. You noticed his hands remained on his lap and away from Hitoshi’s calves where they would usually rest. His palms must be sweaty, you realized. He only kept his hands to himself in private like this when his palms were sweating. Maybe he really was nervous.
“So, though you’re both welcome whenever you want, you don’t usually show up unannounced. What can I do for ya?” you asked the pair.
You noticed Katsuki stare at you with more intensity than he usually did. It made you feel things in forbidden places. You felt your neck heat up even more under his gaze.
“No reason in particular. Just had a long day at work and wanted to see our girl,” Hitoshi watched you with a careful eye, making sure not to stare too long to draw your attention, but making sure to catalog all of your reactions.
Katsuki smirked as he saw you shift in your seat on the floor.
“Our girl,” Hitoshi had said. How you would love to be their girl. You’d had a crush on the both of them for years now, ever since you saw them on the tv for their first sports festival in your living room.
You weren’t a hero by any means, rather a barista at the cafe Hitoshi frequented. When you saw him the first time he came in during your shift, you didn’t know what to do at first, with yourself or towards him. But you realized he was a person, so you treated him with the kindness and civility you would any other customer. He seemed slightly surprised, as it was pretty obvious you had recognized him, underground hero or not.
“Can I get a name for the order?” you asked him with a smile.
“Er, Shinso,” he said.
Your smile broadened, “It’s nice to meet you, Shinso. I’m Y/N.”
He left a $20 tip in your jar that day.
Katsuki you didn’t meet until a few weeks after. They had come in holding hands and while you were elated that the both of them had found someone, you couldn’t help the disappointment that sank into your stomach.
“Let me guess,” you had said, “This is who you buy all those caramel macchiatos for?”
Shinso gave a wry smile, “How’d you guess?”
You shrugged, “You seem more like the black coffee kinda guy.”
He had nodded, “Can we get your number? We’d love to hang out sometime,” wouldn’t we, Tsuki?”
Bakugou had rolled his eyes, you didn’t know him well enough to tell if it was playful or not, “Whatever.”
“That’s as close as we’ll get to a yes, I’m afraid,” Shinso said.
You chuckled, “I’ll out my number on your cup for you.”
“Thanks, kitten.”
You hurried behind the espresso machines to hide your flusteredness.
That had been three years ago. By now, the three of you were thick as thieves and you knew them like the back of your hand.
You took a drink from your glass. You knew better than to ask them about work. If they wanted to share or felt it was something you needed to know, you would already be talking about it.
Katsuki finished the rest of his third drink and went to get up for a fourth. Hitoshi deftly pulled the glass out of his hand as he stood to which Katsuki glared at him.
“I’m a big boy, Hitoshi. I know my limit.”
“When’s the last time you ate, big boy?” you asked from your place on the floor.
Katsuki turned his glare to you, “Nobody asked you, sweets.”
You snorted and returned the glare, “I wasn’t aware I had to be invited to a conversation between the two of you now.”
“You don’t,” Hitoshi said firmly, “Kats. A tall glass of water, then you can have another drink. Please and thank you.”
Katsuki grunted and went to the kitchen, getting himself a tall glass of water like he was instructed, and a snack to top it off.
“When’s the last time you went to the shops, sweets?” he asked.
You shrugged, “Been a while. Why?”
“You’ve just got junk,” he complained.
You shrugged again, “When money’s tight, you get what’s cheap and easy, not what’s healthy. But you wouldn’t know about that.” you were still bitter about his comment from a minute ago.
Hitoshi looked to the heavens as you finished your first glass of wine. He knew you didn’t need the alcohol to keep Katsuki on his toes like this.
“You could just ask,” Katuski brought his glass of water with him as he returned to his seat and popped a piece of kettle corn in his mouth and chewed.
“You know I hate asking for that sort of thing from you, Tsuki,” you said as you poured yourself a second generous glass of wine.
“Why not? I like taking care of you,” he said, then amended, “We like taking care of you.”
Hitoshi ran a hand down his face, “See, this is why you should have quit while you were ahead, Katsuki.”
You looked between the two of them, “The fuck is that supposed to mean?”
“It means we like ya, sweets,” Katsuki said.
“Well yeah I assumed as much or we wouldn’t be here?” you were beyond confused at this point, if not a tiny bit hopeful that this meant what you hoped it meant.
“No, like, we-” Katsuki ran a hand down his face with a groan, “Toshi, you take over.”
“With pleasure,” the purple haired man said.
You watched cautiously as Hitoshi swung his legs off of Katsuki’s lap, set his half empty glass down, and faced you fully as he folded his hands together.
“Y/N.”
Oh gods. He used your name. Not “Kitten” or some other cutesy name he would sometimes use to get you flustered. But your name.
“Hitoshi?” you were beyond nervous now.
“Katsuki and I have done a lot of talking lately,” he said.
Oh gods. They were going to leave you. They didn’t want you in their life anymore. They-
“We wanted to extend the invitation to join our relationship to you,” Hitoshi said plainly.
You choked on air.
“You what?”
Katsuki groaned, “I told you this was a bad idea.”
“Shut up, Tsuki, that’s not what I meant,” you snapped at him.
His attention snapped to you, “It isn’t?” he said it more like a statement than a question.
“No. I meant it as in I’ve had a stupid school girl crush on the both of you since I first saw you on tv for your first sports festival and it’s only gotten worse since the two of you have come into my life and this feels like I’m dreaming,” you ramnbled.
Hitoshi smirked at his boyfriend, “Fuckin’ told you.”
“Shut up, lavender.”
“So?”
You let out a breath you didn’t realize you were holding, “This isn’t a dream?”
“Not a dream, kitten. We want you to be ours. Officially. Since you’re too fuckin polite to pick up on any hints we tried to drop you,” Hitoshi chuckled.
You grinned, “I didn’t want to butt in where I wasn’t wanted.”
“Believe me sweets, you’re more than wanted, “ Katsuki said, his gaze darkening a little.
Hitoshi nudged him, “Later, Tsuki. We don’t want to overwhelm her.”
You laughed, “Oh my god this is real. Holy shit.”
“Real as I am,” Hitoshi reassured. “So what do you say, kitten?”
“Yes!”

Second chance, chances missed
A/N: Pulling up to this fandom 12 years later but I'm having Filbrick Pines thoughts and making it everyone elses's problem
-/-
Filbrick Pines was 83 years old.
He had left Jersey back when he was 72.
For a man who claimed that Jersey was in his blood...his blood might as well be the waves crashing against the shores of glass shard beach. His belief that he'd live and die in Jersey was nothing compared to the wrath of his wife.
The sorrow of his eldest son.
The innocent, genuine confusion of his youngest as he grew up with pictures of brothers he only half remembered, one of them off to college and the other...
But he saw the paper, he saw the obituary, it was that damn paper that finally made Caryn snap and leave in the night with Shermie in the back seat.
Stanley, the younger twin, Caryn's little free spirit, Ford's betrayer, and Shermie's babysitter when Caryn was busy he was dead. The paper said he was dead, Filbrick saw the car and the burnt clothes.
The sky was blue, water was wet, and Stanley was dead. Those were the facts.
So why, in the name of all thats good and holy did he see two men who looked remarkably alike in the window of a cafe next to his wife and who he assumed was Shermie?
Why did he see Caryn reach over and cup the cheek of the man who had Filbricks square jaw, her mouth obviously calling him her 'free spirit.'
Why did the man, the one without a red beanie, have a sixth finger that Filbrick could see when he gestured with his hands while Caryn watched with fond affection.
Filbrick shook his head.
Mind must be playing tricks on him again. He should find a paper or something, check the date. If it's near the twins birthday his old, battered, brian may be mixing things up again.
A pain in Filbrick's arse, though an explanation he was far more comfortable with then the current suggestion is brain was making.
He went to leave when a hand curled around his wrist, stopping him.
Filbrick tugged his hand back prepared to snap at whatever knucklehead grabbed him and was interrupted when he heard a breathy, "Pa?"
He froze.
The air was warm, the birds were annoying, and Stanley was dead.
"Stanley? What are you-"
Caryn and the two men with her stood a few feet away from the man who still had a grasp on Filbricks wrist.
Filbrick looked at the men, then to Caryn, then back to man who had his face holding his wrist.
"You ignoramous, the papers said you were dead!"

The Love That Slipped Away.
this is part two of my previous story the love we lost.
Description: (Gojo x Reader) It's been a year since Satoru Gojo cheated on you. He thought it wouldn't hurt when you left him. He soon realized that you were the one for him.
Warnings: 18+, Strong language, MINORS DNI!
part 1 linked here
Days have been extremely dull and gray. Satoru has done nothing but work, exorcise curses, go home and rest. It's the same cycle every day. Sure, his oh so beloved Amy was there with him, but it wasn't the same. You would always lighten up a room with a smile, But Amy didn't. Satoru and Amy didn't have anything in common other than their sex life. Ever since you left him, he's been nothing but an empty shell of who he was. You took his heart with him that day.
He thought he would be better off with Amy but he was so very wrong. Amy was nothing but a pretty face with no personality. Satoru's students disliked Amy. They would always ask for you.
"Sensei! Where's Y/n?"
"I wish y/n was here."
"I miss Y/n!"
He has no clue where you are or what you have been up to. You blocked his number and social media accounts. He obviously tried looking you up but was always met disappointment when you were nowhere to be found.
A few months later. It was mid spring when Amy had cheated on him with another man. Satoru was heartbroken shattered even. Amy had left a wound on his heart. He truly did love her. His world was all about her but what is his world now that his left? He was left ruined and alone in the place he once called "home". He sat on his bed lost in thought. Heart now broken in pieces.
"Is this how y/n felt?"
He had finally felt what you felt the day you find out he was unfaithful. It was an awful feeling. It was a stomach-churning feeling. His beautiful blue eyes had opened. He realized what he lost. What he let slip away. He took your love for granted. You were meant for him. You were his person. You saw much more to Satoru other than the strongest and a pretty face. Memories of you and him being happy together flooded his mind. Tears filled his angelic cerulean eyes. He sobbed and sobbed till no more tears fell from his eyes. His porcelain skin was stained with tear streaks. His ocean like eyes were now red and puffy. His snow liked hair was disheveled and ruined.
Was it worth it? He chose a girl with a pretty face. A good fuck. Were his friends and students, right? Did he really just pick a doll face over the most extravagant person who always bighted a room with just their presence alone? Whose voice and smile always made his heart flutter like a bird in cage ready to burst. His warm bed that he once shared with you was now cold and barren. When was the last time he got a proper goodnight sleep?
He would do anything to get you back. no matter how long it takes. He has to see his other person. The person who still has heart.
He walked around the streets of Tokyo. He looked at the Stores and Cafes nearby. The cherry blossoms where in full bloom. Streets were covered in beautiful pink leaves. He eyed the Pastries that people were handing out. The sweet fruity delightful aroma of the pastries filled his nostrils. There was on peculiar scent that caught his attention. It was your scent. That sweet scent you always had. It was as if spring had blossomed all over you. He would never forget that sweet scent you always had.
His eyes widen and he looked to where the scent was. His eyes rapidly scanned over everyone. All he could hear was the sound of his heart beating. His eyes fell on your beautiful smile. There you were. God, you looked so mesmerizing. You were glowing. A sight for sore eyes even. His cerulean eyes were focused on you. The pink petals that flew in the wind complimented you so damn much. He has fallen for you all over again.
He was so happy he has finally seen you after so long. He walked towards you. His heart was pounding like crazy with each step he took.
"Y-Y/n..? is it really you...?" He spoke softly but loud enough to make you look at his direction. His heart skipped a beat. Your beautiful colored eyes stared at his disgustingly beautiful eyes.
"Satoru." You replied with a nonchalant voice. His heart ached with the emptiness in your voice. Your voice used to be sweet like an angel.
"You look good." Satoru complimented you with a soft smile but all it left was a sour taste in your mouth.
"Don't try to sweet talk me" You scoffed at him. Satoru awkwardly smiled.
"It's good to see you again."
"I wish I could say the same" There was a hint of sadness in your voice.
"L-Look I just wanted to-" Satoru was caught off by a voice coming from behind you.
"Sorry sweetie the line was really long." A tall man with long black hair with weird bangs and black circle stud earrings approached you. The unknown man gave you a gentle kiss on your cheek while he wrapped his arms around you. He had a pastry package with him.
"Oh? Satoru what are you doing here?" Satoru got a better look at the man Infront of him. It was his best friend Suguru Geto. They were friends back in high school before they separated ways.
"Suguru? What are YOU doing here?" Satoru was caught completely off guard. Why was his best friend here with his beloved? So many questions swirled in his head.
"I'm here shopping with my lover" Suguru wrapped his muscular arm around your waist pulling you into his side keeping you in a secure grasp. Satoru had jealousy and sadness in his bright blue eyes. Seeing you with another man had his heart aching. Your sweet warm smile wasn't for him anymore. He is no longer the man you wake up to every day. That should've been HIM by your side. Not Suguru.
"You guys know each other?" You asked your boyfriend Suguru turning your face to look at his beautiful face. He was smiling. "We have some history from back in our high school days. Long story short he's my best friend." Suguru gave you a warm smile. "So, who is he to you?" Suguru asked you with sweet smile.
"He's the unfaithful ex-boyfriend I've told you about." You said with a sigh. Satoru's heart twisted with sadness and guilt at the word "unfaithful". He eyes didn't dare to meet your eyes. He knew what he had done. How could he ever get you back? There's no way he would be able to call you his again. The guilt that drowned him was enough to make him puke.
"Oh, so Satoru is the man that crushed your heart all those months ago?" Suguru was looking at Satoru with nothing with disappointment. "I'll admit Satoru. I never expected this from you. How did you let such a sweet person slip through your fingers like sand. Hm well, I guess if it wasn't for your fuck up, I wouldn't have landed such a lovely person."
Suguru looked at his white-haired friend. Satoru looked ruined as he finally faced the music. "I never meant for shit to turn out like this. Fuck! I'm so sorry Y/n. I know an apology isn't going to change the fact I hurt you. I know we can't fix shit between us. I finally realized how much you loved me. You were my everything and still are. You gave me your all. I was pathetic to not treat you the same way. But I've lost you now. Even though I'm not the one who's going to be by your side anymore at least someone will." Tears fell from his Ocean colored eyes falling onto the pale sidewalk. People looked the commotion happening but carried on their day.
You looked at Satoru as he silently began wiping his tears. Suguru's grasp around your waist tightened. Suddenly, the memories you tried so hard to forget came back. The day you ended things with Satoru. The day your heart was shattered to pieces. The one fucking day you saw him and his girlfriend passionately making love. skin on skin. lips on lips. hand in hand. It all came back to you. You watched as the man in front you broke down in tears. His eyes becoming puffy. His blue ironed button up was now wrinkled and stained with tears.
You grabbed Suguru's hand and intertwined it with yours. He let go of the grasp he had you in. You looked at the broken man Infront of you.
"I wanted you and only you. But you wanted something more. And I couldn't give you that. You made your decision when you picked her over me. I gave you my word, my loyalty, my trust. But you didn't give me anything. I always ate dinner alone waiting for your arrival, but you would eat another womans dinner and share a warm meal together. Where was I when you went to her house to fuck? Was I even a priority to you? I was questioning my worth every damn night. The lipstick stains on your neck and clothes never went unnoticed. I begged for your attention for you to look at me again, but you never batted an eye. I was never important to you Satoru. I never was. The nights I slept alone and cold in our shared bed were always the worst nights ever. You only started caring once I left." You looked at him once more before turning around and walking away with your boyfriend hand in hand.
Satoru can only stare with tears running down his face. He was an idiot to come looking for you. He was an idiot losing you in the first place. Your words struck his heart. He looked at you as your walking away from him. He has to live with the guilt of betraying you. He managed to pick himself up and head home. The sky turned gray, and rain started pouring. He hopes the rain will wash away his sorrow. No one will ever replace you again. His love that slipped away. Maybe one day. just maybe you will comeback. Until then he'll wait for you with open arms.
Thanks for reading!!
