Owosa’s Pets Zoo MASTER POST

“The "Pet Zoo" as a concept was born well after having created the first 4 original pets (Kitty, Pupyrus, BB and Foxpy)”.

This is the post that will contain all the important links and very basic information related to The Pets, adoptables created by me.

The Pets

Before starting this part, I must clarify that the pets in the stories ( The Fell owners / The Tale owners / The Reddish owners / The Purplish owners) and the pets from the zoo (The Adoptables) are not the same nor do they follow the same rules. Like I said at the start, the zoo is off cannon-fannon territory.

What are the pets?

Simply put, the pets are a "type" of monster. A species that, although it shares something as basic as the need of a soul to exist, it has its own characteristics. The best known, the fact that they can change shape for periods of time.

Its default form is the animal one, not the skeleton. For the same reason, pets are much more primitive than a skeleton monster. Because they are essentially animals. They are much more conscious than any animal, but even so, they cannot speak any spoken language.

 Do they have a reason for being?

In their concept, pets are creatures made to bring happiness, affection and comfort to their owners. A virtual pet that is there for you and only needs love to cope with any problem. They are not real, just imaginary, but that was the feeling I wanted to convey when I thought about making the pet owners manuals.

I honestly feel that it was more a coincidence that I ended up creating the pets within the UT fandom than a consequence of it. But here we are and I don't regret anything.

Do they have their characteristics as a species?

The pets are their own type of monster, but even among them, there can be differences. Depending on these differences, each pet is classified within a Typer: Common , Mini , Aquatic and Mythical

There is one last type, the Special Pets. As the name indicates, they are a particular type of pet, that can only be won as a prize for participating in the ask games.

The Zoo Staff

“Support and inspiration; The zoo staff (within this context) have been those in charge of taking care of the pets during the period they were in the zoo (before they were adopted)”.

These are the best friends that the ut fandom gave me and to this day, they still are by my side supporting me. Love you girls <3 

The Permanent Exhibition

Well, this would not be a zoo if it does not have pets constantly inhabiting it, therefore, there is a group of pets that live here 24/7. The pets that you've met in the stories (the fell, tale, reddish and purplish owners), the staff pets and a small group of pets that for one reason or another came to stay at the zoo and never be for up adoption.

The Originals: Kitty, Pupyrus, BB, Foxpy, B-lord, Doggy, Batchis and GG.

The Zoo Staff’s pets: Pipi, Silver, Bunnyrus, Kaus and Ain. 

My pets: Glitchy, Cinnamon & Mint, Gaspar and Mallow. 

These pets will never be up for adoption, their home is the zoo and their owners, me and the staff. They have their own dynamics and relationships, even those pets that were part of the stories.

I never expected pets to be so famous, let alone spend so many years working with them, but what can I say other than thank you very much for your support so far and in the future, especially for your patience and nice words.

I really love this community that has been formed and hope you all have a really nice time here too.

I came home so late today, I couldn't do much because of my pets too, so I'm hyper tired rn. My babe called me to wish me good night and dreams, and during our little chat, in english (although we mostly speak brazilian pt most of the time but we both tend to switch between idioms) he said he missed me so much and I just tong tied and said "I liss you too" because I mixed love and miss together

I love and hate how my mind will just sometimes overlap words and create new ones. Most of the times it can be cute, funny like this moment, or maybe like sooner when I mistook my braid with the word bangs (this time in portuguese) and kinda worded something like brands (free translation) and in portuguese I actually said France because braid = trança and bangs= franja

But oh there's sometimes where this will cost me more than just funny embarrassed laughs, especially in college presentations 🤦🏻‍♀️
