Owosa’s Pets Zoo MASTER POST

“The "Pet Zoo" as a concept was born well after having created the first 4 original pets (Kitty, Pupyrus, BB and Foxpy)”. 

“(...)Since I have never thought of the pets as an alternate version of the ut characters, but rather as beings inspired by them, the Pets Zoo does not follow the logic of the fanon multiverse and therefore, its location is not within any of its territories (the void or the anti-void for example)”.

This is the post that will contain all the important links and very basic information related to The Pets, adoptables created by me.

The Pets

Before starting this part, I must clarify that the pets in the stories ( The Fell owners / The Tale owners / The Reddish owners / The Purplish owners) and the pets from the zoo (The Adoptables) are not the same nor do they follow the same rules. Like I said at the start, the zoo is off cannon-fannon territory.

What are the pets?

Simply put, the pets are a "type" of monster. A species that, although it shares something as basic as the need of a soul to exist, it has its own characteristics. The best known, the fact that they can change shape for periods of time.

Its default form is the animal one, not the skeleton. For the same reason, pets are much more primitive than a skeleton monster. Because they are essentially animals. They are much more conscious than any animal, but even so, they cannot speak any spoken language.

 Do they have a reason for being?

In their concept, pets are creatures made to bring happiness, affection and comfort to their owners. A virtual pet that is there for you and only needs love to cope with any problem. They are not real, just imaginary, but that was the feeling I wanted to convey when I thought about making the pet owners manuals.

I honestly feel that it was more a coincidence that I ended up creating the pets within the UT fandom than a consequence of it. But here we are and I don't regret anything.

Do they have their characteristics as a species?

The pets are their own type of monster, but even among them, there can be differences. Depending on these differences, each pet is classified within a Typer: Common , Mini , Aquatic and Mythical

There is one last type, the Special Pets. As the name indicates, they are a particular type of pet, that can only be won as a prize for participating in the ask games.

The Zoo Staff

“Support and inspiration; The zoo staff (within this context) have been those in charge of taking care of the pets during the period they were in the zoo (before they were adopted)”.

These are the best friends that the ut fandom gave me and to this day, they still are by my side supporting me. Love you girls <3 

The Permanent Exhibition

Well, this would not be a zoo if it does not have pets constantly inhabiting it, therefore, there is a group of pets that live here 24/7. The pets that you've met in the stories (the fell, tale, reddish and purplish owners), the staff pets and a small group of pets that for one reason or another came to stay at the zoo and never be for up adoption.

The Originals: Kitty, Pupyrus, BB, Foxpy, B-lord, Doggy, Batchis and GG.

The Zoo Staff’s pets: Pipi, Silver, Bunnyrus, Kaus and Ain. 

My pets: Glitchy, Cinnamon & Mint, Gaspar and Mallow. 

These pets will never be up for adoption, their home is the zoo and their owners, me and the staff. They have their own dynamics and relationships, even those pets that were part of the stories.

I never expected pets to be so famous, let alone spend so many years working with them, but what can I say other than thank you very much for your support so far and in the future, especially for your patience and nice words.

I really love this community that has been formed and hope you all have a really nice time here too.

tanjirou just turned out to be so homely, as if he was born to look after your temple, and even if his courtship in the form of good meat, lush flowers and sweet berries is a little awkward, you love how rosy and excited his face becomes from your kiss on the cheek.

or when he, warm and eager for touch, snuggles up to you at night, trying to throw his leg over your hip, even if he understands that you can't do that — suddenly you decide that he's rude or dangerous?

even if tanjirou is ashamed, he knows how to be pleasant and charmingly shameless — and full of guilt in order to convince you that he, of course, is very remorseful, and will accept any punishment...

or, yes! when your mate is not pregnant yet, but you feel that it may happen soon, and kiss his neck full of your marks <3

you don't know if tanjirou feels it as acutely as you do, because even you feel it through your instincts, pushing you to make sure that he rests a lot and he doesn't hurt — kisses? hugs? massage? food? water?.. you?

it's not his fault that during pregnancy raccoon dogs become so affectionate that he can't even let you go for more than a few minutes for a good reason. you just started to smell even more soothing, what can he do?

ahhhh, he's actually so touched when you protect him, as if he's discovering new facets of his love for you, even if he's sure he can't love you even more,,,,

after all, tanjirou grew up in a large and very peaceful family — he can't help but know the price that must be paid to keep everyone safe. and he was so used to paying it-getting wounded, fighting, hiding, sharing and giving as much as possible, much more than receiving. he is the oldest, he should be like this — good-natured, responsible and brave.

in the forest, fangs and claws are valued, but in the pack — kindness and friendliness are valued. and he's trying, really trying to be good at both.

therefore, tanjirou's heart melts whenever you protect him — not because he is weak and cannot do it himself, but because you love him and you want to take care of him; and even if it is sometimes dirty and messy, he still lovingly helps you make sure that everything will be clean soon as if nothing had happened.

and it's not that tanjirou doesn't feel sorry for them, but that doesn't mean that he will sympathize with them. even if he's not sure that it was really "quick and merciful", as you casually say, now it's not as important to him as you are, although even wild predators used to cause compassion — no one becomes like that on their own.

... life with you must have ruined him, hehehe.

even one of your movements excites his admiration, because you are so, mmm... elegant... and although you are cooing that it is foxy, it is not at all what you are doing consciously, you seem to hover, treading carefully, like some kind of water fairy, and he cannot stop looking at you with adoration — and never he can stop <3

Some commissions I made for Owosa with half the zoo (?) On my own I wanted to give her patience and consideration with an extra Kitty and Pupyrus, which I did a few years ago and thus served to improve my mistakes and calm my mind and they all look the same (?)
