It all started when y/n a young talented woman joined the f1 in red bull racing, having won 2 World titles at f2 finally getting the recognition she deserved.

When she was younger she looked up on a lot of drivers that had retired by the time she joined at 2019 like Sebastian Vettle, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Michel Schumacher, Niki lauda and a few others.

Having her room filled with posters, signed photos, cups, shirts, pictures of her and her idols, paddock passes and everything.

Her childhood crush on Jenson Button was a best kept secret,. Very few knew about her crush and she preferred it that way because it was going to be awkward because if it got out, because come on they work together in a sense, he had interviewed her multiple times.

Driving along side max both at 17 had both good days and bad, with competition racing against your idols, your friends was a bit of a struggle in the beginning but as the months passed they all learned to not take whatever happens on the track outside of it and then she and a few others like Max, Charles, Lando, Oscar, Pierre and some other people getting more serious with the races.

The fans favourite moments were when before they race they waving at one other from inside of their cockpits, or traditions they did before the race, or even when they gathered around gossiping when and if they could whenever they were. Outside at a cafe? Yes!, at their hang outs? Yes!, at their grid walks? Yep! And the fan favs at press conference and before the races. Twitter going crazy about that.

There are so many talks.

When you spend almost half of your time on a place With so many people, either loud or whispers you Will learn so many things and hear so many things which you probably shouldn't hear or know but it's hard to not acknowledge them like an engineer from Mercedes fucked someone from redbull in hopes of learning information about the car so Mercedes could be better.

Or that a redbull engineer got his wife little sister and best friend pregnant the same month that he got his wife pregnant With his second child.

Some times you hear rumor regardless of whether that may be true or not....

Christian horner talking and fucking a girl from his team which when you learned that you didn't know what to do because Christian was a father figure to you and Max having shity fathers. Be cautious when you were around him? Desapointed? Sad? Or disgusted? You didn't know for sure either way and you went to max first with the information you had. At first he was just like you. A wave of emotions washed over him like it did to you, then you both discuss and decided on what to do and that was to wait and see if it's true or not, to not tell anyone nor his wife which you were close to or anyone for that matter and never mentioned it again... Verbally anyway when you saw him texting someone in the presence of his wife you exchanged looks, knowing looks or side eyeing each other when you saw them together talking a few meters from everyone else whispering . Which a few months later the texts of them were linked and you learned that a week or so from the first race of the season when you were tagged in a post about it

Logan was horrible at drinking water, Max had come to find out. Or rather, was horrible at remembering to carry water around. If it was in his hand, he’d remember it and drink it. If it wasn’t though, forget it.

It was surprisingly endearing the way Logan would just forget water existed as soon as his water bottle was out of his hands. Max knew it drove Pan crazy, he had seen the way she pushed water into his hand constantly, but now, and he can’t help but grin, that was his job.

Passing a bottle of water to Logan, he pats the younger on the shoulder before joining him on the sofa. It was a relief to be right at the end, Logan next to him, then Lando, Esteban, and Kevin. The latter two drivers had made his nose wrinkle a bit when his press officer told him his schedule.

As the interviewer begins with talking to Kevin, Max lets himself zone out, looking at the rest of the people in the room, observing them.

He briefly registers Esteban beginning to speak, when the very quiet muffled sound of Lando laughing hits his ears. It makes his eyebrow raise and he glances to look at him. Lando’s face is slightly pink as he tries to stifle his laugh. Max has to give him that’s doing a somewhat good job at it. Better than he ever did last year, at least.

As he looks at Lando, wondering what made him crack up, the corner of his eye catches on Logan and his attention immediately shifts.

The younger was frowning at his lap, and Max looks down and sees him staring at the water bottle in his hands, his dominant hands fingers struggling with the cap.

Max looks over at Esteban as the Frenchman says his name, nearly rolling his eyes at the shit joke of him winning everything.

“Well,” he begins, reaching over grabbing the water from Logan. “It’s the car and the team really. I mean, the car just feels excellent. How is the car for you Esteban?” He asks, passing the now opened water back to Logan and cap, giving a small tap to the bottom of the bottle and smiling when immediately Logan takes a drink.

His attention refocuses on Esteban only to see him looking at him slack jawed.

“What?” He asks, confused. But as he looks at Kevin, the interviewer and the other people in the room, they all have the same response. Lando even is no longer laughing, having the same expression as everyone else. Looking at Logan, the American shrugs, just as confused as him. “Did you,” the interview starts. “Did I what?” The interviewer’s mouth opens, then closes. “Did you just open Logan’s water for him?” Max looks at Lando in confusion. “Yes. Why? What’s the problem?” The Brit continues to look at him, slack jawed. “Mate,” he finally manages to say. “What?” Max shrugs. “Can we go back to questions about Australia?” He sends a sorry look to Logan, who just shrugs. And Max in response can’t help but ruffle his kid's hair. One of these days he really was going to go into Williams garage and strangle James Vowles, one of these days, he sighed.

It all started when you were scrolling on tik tok one of your favourite thing to do when relaxing in bed.

The tik tok in question is the one where significant others waiting to see how their other half would react to their girlfriends / boyfriends cooking for them and accidentally putting less and they will set the table and put on the food in front of their partner and see their reactions when and if they will realise the difference on the portion.

You decided to test it out with your boyfriend on three years, you just returned from work and sat to fix dinner for both you and your boyfriend, the reason why Charles couldn't cook was because he doesn't know how to and also he went to the gym for a bit last minute training.

You decided to cook a long time favourite of your tiki masala for protein still following him diet but not on the dot it was rice with chicken with a sauce a bit simple but still tasteful .

You were finishing when your boyfriend Charles came into the kitchen with wet hair and no shirt on, he just got home and showered.

Kissing your neck softly and speak to you in French and making small conversations you told him to sit on the table and you were coming, plating the food you headed to the table with two plates the one filled to the brim with rice and chicken and thee other very visible less rice and two pieces of chicken.

Setting the on the table you pushed the full plate towards him where he was sitting and the other in your place and sat down, Charles looked up from his plate and sang praises to you for how nice it smelled and how hungry he was and finally his eyes settled down to your plate and he looked at his plate and then yours, that happened a few times and he got an idea

" baby can you do me a favour?" he said softly to you looking deep in your eyes and smiled sweetly

" yeah baby anything!" you said cheerfully

" could you go and get me a bit of breed baby?"

he said, you looked at him confused as to why he would want to eat bread with rice but you still nodded and got up and into the kitchen.

He was looking when you disappeared into the kitchen and looked to your plate and took his fork and started to put a few spoonfuls into your plate and still looking if you were coming which alerted him your slippers on the marble floors that you are coming and he settled down pretending that he was swallowing a mouthful of food and smiled at you, you set the bread you were asked to get and went to sit down on your chair but he again interrupted you and said

" oh mon amor! I am sorry! But I need a bit of cheese too! Can you go get it?"

"uh yeah sure" and off you went to get cheese he repeated the same thing taking food of of his own and into yours until he is satisfied with the portion and started to eat and waiting for you to come back and you did with the cheese.

He took it from your hands and put on a bit and started eating again and looking up at you yo check on you with his beautiful green eyes that make fall in love more and more everyday for those three years.

" baby why is your food so little? I thought I put on more!, wait take some from me! It's important for you to eat!"

You said fussing over him once you realised what he did

" oh non mon bébé ! You eat i am not that hungry so you eat! This is so good! You have to make it more! " he said while smiling and leaned to you and kissed your cheek.

" no baby wait I have more let me get you some! I just wanted to see how you were going to react to the difference in the portions! I saw it on TikTok and wanted to do it with you! " you said and kissed his lips and hugged him and went to get more food.

you sighed, scrolling through your comments. it had been almost a month after your albums release, and some people still were bringing up the hug with charles. i mean, seriously it was just a hug. it wasn't like you guys had made out or anything.

both your label and ferrari were sponsored by celsius, and your management had met with one of ferraris pr heads. they had agreed to work together to promote the new album, and had picked charles because he was a fan of your music.

you clicked instantly on the first day of set, but it also helped that you spoke fluent french (you had an obsession with indila when you were younger and forced yourself to learn it) the lack of a language barrier, coupled with the fact that you guys had similar interests made it inevitable that you both would become friends.

after the album launch party, you were exhausted. you had woken up at 4am for promo shoots, and had been running around all day before singing your whole album (which was around an hour long) to the attendees. it was fun, and you wouldnt trade your career for the whole world, but man you were tired.

as you were heading out, you spotted charles and you both stopped to talk

"tu as bien fait là-dedans" he said, smiling as he pushed his hands into his pockets (you did good in there)

"merci! les heures de pratique m’ont aidé. je pense que je pourrais oublier les paroles si j’essayais" you smile as he laughed (thanks! the hours of practice helped. i dont think i could forget the lyrics if i tried)

"en pratiquant son art on devient artisan" (practice makes perfect)

you nod, turning as you hear your bandmate siobahn call for you

you look back to him, saying your goodbyes and quickly hugging him before running after her.

that was it. just a friendly hug. it's not like he liked you, and if he knew you liked him, you doubt he would still be friends with you.
