Out in a quiet field an Umbreon sits on her knees in silent prayer. The soft, slowly pulsating glow admitting off her rings push back at the night's darkness. One ear twitches slightly as if listening out for something, or perhaps someone?

Elsewhere, in a similar time but different space

in an alleyway just out of sight from the street a stickman appears to be in the middle of some artistic vandalism. The graffiti artist has a few paints in various colors sitting by his feet along with a couple cans of an energy drink. He uses his tail to both pick up and place down the desired can's when needed so he's not required to bend over

neither figure appear to have taken notice of your presence just yet... will you approach?

Shadow is a 2 year old Bloodmoon Umbreon mix that's been with us since he was a rockruff, but he never got adopted. He's pretty shy, and it can take him a while to warm up to people. He would do well in a house with another pokemon (he'll be fine once he gets to know them) or by himself. He sheds a lot btw, so he shouldn't be adopted if you have allergies. Because he's Midnight Lycanroc, he's nocturnal, so don't be surprised if you hear howling at 3am. He likes toys, but he's hard to play fetch with bcuz he'll just chew on it or stand their holding it while wagging his tail. welcome shadow the lycanroc to our family! big thanks to @pokemonpetfinder for giving me the opportunity to meet this clever little guy. he's an umbreon hybrid, something which i've learned is called a bloodmoon midnight lycanroc, and he's gorgeous!

here he is, meeting the supervisor and local pack leader (chip the houndoom) safely through the fence. he is still a little anxious, and it will take a few weeks before i let them meet without the fence, but i can sense a beautiful friendship forming here.

Bloodmoon Ursaluna - ha ha strong Russian bear has strong bear on his team eeeeeeh.

Incinaroar - I imagine he’d use strong badass Pokémon and the literal demon of competitive fits this.

Nidoking - this just feels like a Pokemon he’d have strong and toxic.

Hisuian Arcainie - Nikolai would be the dad that doesn’t want a dog but completely baby it when getting the dog.

Crowbat - he would get along with his team very well and definitely would have at least one friendship evolution.

Umbreon - Bulky and requires friendship what more could you want.

Lunar is very electric type coded in my brain and I've gone over his little team multiple times in my brain. It'd be a shinx, blitzle and lanturn. I've also thought about him having a deerling named spigot.

As for Eclipse, I'm always between either fire or dark. Kinda a scorched by the sun kinda vibe and y'know the darkness that comes with an eclipse and all that. Also fire types usually just have this regality about them that would fit him so well! I can't give a for sure team, besides maybe a Delphox! Also a houndoom would be pretty neat but that's just cause I like houndoom!

Bloodmoon is where I draw a bit of a blank. Aesthetically? Cause all of the reds, I'd say fire but I don't know. I'd also think that he'd make a cool psychic or ghost type! Maaaybe a normal.

The idea of each having an eeveelution too is really cute but I've kinda already assigned sun and moon an Umbreon and Espeon in my brain.

How to evolve: Bloodmoon Umbreon level up high friendship Eevee during a Bloodmoon. Eclipse Espeon level up high friendship Eevee during an Eclipse either solar or lunar eclipse.

How to obtain during main character's quest: A scientist brings one specimen from the past into the present giving the main character the choice of receiving one. Only presented by their names with no other information on them. Done in thanks to the main character helping protect the scientist from the evil team goons. Saying that the other will be promised to the Hero of the region, aka once the main character defeats the legendary pokemon the other is given to the main character. If this scientist is skipped during the storyline, it not said that the scientist will gift them to the main character though the main character is invited into the scientist's work area anytime as a part of his thanks which hunts to this, then if the main character encounters the scientist after defeating the legendary the scientist will gift both of them to the main character.

Region: A region of eternal night as scientists created plants that could grow in moonlight, though there is some places that try to create artificial lights for the plants that couldn't grow in the moonlight. The moon still changing to different fullness percents with times there is no moon visible.

Region name: Lunar region.

Type: Bloodmoon Umbreon: Dark Ghost. Eclipse Espeon: Psychic Fairy.

Ability: Bloodmoon Umbreon: Guts. Eclipse Espeon: Mind's Eye.

Description: These pokemon were originally believed to just be pieces of legend due to their rarity, thus are not currently seen as an evolution from an Eevee that is worthy in the Royal family, since no Eclipses or Bloodmoons have happened in a very long time since Eternal night arrived. Due to this if someone outside of the Royal family were to own one they do not get treated any differently than any other citizen in the region. Despite this they were pretty amazing to people back in the day when it was possible to obtain them. Believing them to be more powerful than the normal Umbreon and Espeon which is only slightly true as these pokemon do have slightly boosted stats by ten points to each stat compared to the normal Umbreon and Espeon. There was no real record of these pokemon as they were so rare that it was very hard to study them. Thus leaving them with the status of just being part of a story of the past when the sun still shone on the region. The main character can report back to the scientist that gave these pokemon to them after using these pokemon more, tracked by these pokemons friendship towards the main character, in order to earn one hundred dollars for each report then one thousand dollars if all four interactions slash updates are completed. This is only an optional side quest that does not have to be done in order to complete the region storyline.

Bloodmoon Umbreon was said in legends to have an attitude and did enjoy fighting other pokemon. Not trusting or behaving to a trainer that it does not know or have any sort of bond with outside of battles with other pokemon. Even not letting those it doesn't know to touch it or pet it in anyway. However it is also said that this is a front in order to hide its softer nature where it will become an absolute sweetheart to someone it has a good bond with it. It is even said to stay at that person's side as much as possible ready to defend that person with its life if that is needed. It is believed to be a resilient pokemon that can truly take a lot before it will actually die, die as in die forever and not fainting in battle. There is even a story of how one revealed an abusive King that was thrown into jail for abusing his own Queen. This story has been debated on whether or not it is true for a long time, actually being a true story from when one of the times it was the companion of a Queen. It is even been said that it can see in the dark helping any it cares for to navigate the dark. It is also said to be able to sense vibrations of things around it in the dark such as the movements of small pokemon in the walls. It uses this to be able to hunt in total darkness using the element of surprise to attack its prey. Said to be an exclusive carnivore with it hunting small pokemon if not fed or so it was once said. A few claimed that it did eat berries occasionally though most agree it needed meat in its diet; That any meat would do with some getting scared of being eaten by this pokemon in the dark despite that no mention of it actually ever eating a human has been mentioned. Not much is known about this pokemon outside of these legends.

Eclipse Espeon is said in legends to be a very gentle soul that will allow others to pet it however while doing so it will keep its sitting position, only leaning into the touches if it is someone it has a deep bond with. It was said to be very soft to the touch and its fur is at a length that can cover the top half of fingers before its skin is reached, except for areas where it is visibly longer on its body which can hide a whole hand. Despite its fluff in its ears it actually is said to have a great sense of hearing, said to be able to hear the call of its owner from the either side of a mountain. Able to run straight to its owner after even just one call for this pokemon to come. Some believed that its long fur or even its jewel also helps it be able to sense the sound from such a distance; There was a few who said that the fur in its ears help it to be able to expand its hearing and that the jewel is able to scan to find its owners exact location. Over the years it became more widely believed that the fur helped in its hearing and the jewel was indeed a tool used to scan for its trainer. It is said that using these abilities it can track and stalk prey from distances until its prey lowers its guard. It is said to not actually eat anything and only sucks out any liquid from its prey usually being spoken about how it sucks juice from berries. There was never really any mention that it actually drank from humans or other pokemon though at one point some were paranoid they were stalked by this pokemon for their blood. Not much is known about this pokemon outside of these legends.

Lore:

These pokemon were once given the same treatment as other friendship evolutions do in the Royal family. However as this treatment was lost when they were believed to be only legends. This pokemon also is only known from the legends of the past in this region.

Bloodmoon Umbreon was once believed to be gifted by evolution to those that need protection before it was told how it was actually evolved. It got this protector status after the incident with the abusive King happened. It was once believed that if it was owned by a Royal that it would do a favor for its owner and search in the dark for those who are missing especially children. This pokemon has been said to only have appeared a few times in history. Not much is known about this pokemon other than the legends.

Eclipse Espeon was once believed to be used by a Royal owner to watch over the kingdom while in power. It was once called as one of the most regal looking evolutions in the Eevee line. It has a preferred way to sit which it will take up more often than not. It was once even said to be a sign of hope even when something that seemed scary to those of the past such as an eclipse happens. Not much is known about this pokemon other than the legends.

Design inspiration: Animals with their tails around their paws, Squirrelflight art where her tail curls at the tip especially, Bloodmoon and Eclipses, and Scourge from Warrior cats with his collar and his claws visible in art.

Lunar region is a region that I have thought about making. I will be making more Pokémon and variants for this region.

OCTOBER 1ST

My schedule for the day was pretty packed. Besides trying to understand a specific class, I also had to design a new character for my website based on the results from last year's poll.

There were tons of potential candidates. But the most well-received ideas were a young Scottish Fold (Who could be a nephew for Angus) and a cat goddess. Both characters were always tied to a point where I thought I'd have to use a Pokétch app as a tiebreaker. However, once midnight fell, the cat goddess ended up receiving a vote more than the Scottish Fold and won the poll.

With the character finally settled on, I got to work on the design. Since I based her design on the Egyptian goddess Bastet, I used moons and rings as the main element in her design. She should be more older than Ann Boo and mature as well.

With Pokémon Violet, I mostly focused on training.

So PINK, you mean? (The outbreak event ended after that.)

I'm surprised that they managed to fix the graphic for Miraidon's box. It always had an orange on it. Even though this is the Violet version, and the box should have a bunch of grapes on it.

The rules for the new tournament came in today. I'm forced to use six of these Pokémon:

It's an interesting roster. But it's not something I've ever had trouble with.

OCTOBER 2ND

I've started work on another big project. I can't say much about it now. But it's a follow-up to a project I've worked on before.

I also managed to finish designing the new MEOWCO mascot. Her name is Cressaluna. I think she'd be the one pulling the strings behind a certain event that involves Angus.

In Pokémon Violet, I was getting ready to take Ogerpon back to her den. But not before messing around with a few things first.

To counter Bloodmoon Ursaluna and Sinistcha, I've brought Fruit Punch to deal with them. With Knock Off as a substitute for Throat Chop, she does just as well as in Sinnoh!

Figured she would want to tag along with me after all this time. I thought I'd fight her. But Kieran wanted to fight me instead.

It wasn't that tough of a match with the help of Greninja and Miraidon.

At least he fought for what he believed in. With Kieran taken care of, the only thing left to do at that point was to catch Ogerpon.

Of COURSE, the legendary Pokémon would want to fight me first before joining me.

I thought it would be a regular battle. But it turned out to be similar to the Titan Pokémon battles. To make things worse, Ogerpon switches to another mask once she takes too much damage.

She eventually used her Teal Mask, and became too much for Greninja to handle alone. Thankfully, Umbreon was enough to finish her off.

Not only did I catch another Ogerpon, but I proved yet again that Umbreon has finally gotten his strength back.

I thought that would be it. But after I got the masks from Ponsi, I was told to visit Carmine at the park.

I have no idea...

Before I had to study, I thought about training with my other Ogerpon.

I don't know which mask I should use against other Ogerpon. But I feel like the Cornerstone Mask should be enough to deal with the Hearthflame Mask and counter against other Cornerstone Mask users. My other Pokémon can deal with the other forms.

OCTOBER 6TH

Now that I have a design for the new site mascot, I've started working on a new art piece that features her, Angus, and Ann. I should probably restart with some different poses, though...

I've also gotten back into Pokémon Stadium 2. I've been learning a few new things at Earl's Pokémon Academy that I can use in matches at the Stadium and Gym Leader Castle.

OCTOBER 7TH

Since Pac-Man 99's servers will be shut down tomorrow, I've decided to play it for as long as I possibly can. Besides that, I've gotten better at memorizing some of the material for my classes. It's probably a result of how much my health has improved since the summer ended.

In Pokémon Violet, I made my way to the park to see what Carmine wanted. She wanted to fight Ponsi to see how tough Ogerpon could be. Ponsi wasn't strong enough to take anyone on. So I took my other Ogerpon with me. And it actually worked.

Since she was only interested in fighting Ogerpon, I fought her with just JiaranMiao. You can see how THAT played out in the Web Stadium.

After I beat Carmine, I was called by Briar to return to the community center.

I still can't believe it took weeks for me to finish this single "assignment"... Briar also informed us that she needed to return to Blueberry Academy with Carmine and Kieran to investigate something.

If they're that strong, I hope that school has something like a Battle Tower.

While all this was happening, Kieran gave himself a bit of a facelift.

I'd wait for the pass to Blueberry Academy to arrive. But there's still more things I need to take care of first.

OCTOBER 8TH

While I was on break, I played Pokémon Stadium 2. I only had the Gym Leader class exam to complete before I moved on to the Elite Four class.

After I was done in the academy, I went to the Gym Leader Castle to take on Pryce.

I would have also fought Clair. But I had other things to take care of.

Today was also the last day I had to play Pac-Man 99. I did pretty well in all the matches I played today. Sadly, I had to stop to study for a while. But not before checking out my stats. Even though I never became Pac-Champ, I was placed third on the leaderboard.

I'm in the top three, and that's all that matters.
