The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs’ Mother’s Day and Blood Harvest specials are available on VHS for $40 each via Ship to Shore. Expected to ship in the third quarter of the year, they both feature artwork by Cody Schibi.

Mother’s Day is presented on red VHS with limited edition white shells randomly inserted. Blood Varvest is presented on blue VHS with limited edition yellow shells randomly inserted. 

These are the eighth and ninth volumes in Ship to Shore’s The Last Drive-In VHS line following Street Trash, Spookies, Christmas Evil, Tammy & the T-Rex, Pieces, Cannibal Holocaust, and Things.

look i don’t know what i expected but i should have known that if it’s a scary movie and it’s from the 1980s then there’s gonna be a specific vibe, look and feel to it. so i should have had some idea what i was getting into, right?

oh, apparently fuck, no.

because holy damn, peter krause in blood harvest…totally unexpected and i tried, i really did, but uh yeah…all of that. mhmm. like goddamn…it was just that era, my dudes.

someone mentioned something about me trying my hand at an even younger bobby x athena au and i was like noooo but now i’m like yaaar…? i’m not making promises but if it did happen…i’m tellin’ youse right now ain’t nothin’ good comin’ outta that.

If you’re going into this movie expecting some kind of killer clown rampage, you’re going to be very disappointed. And let's be honest here. If not for a delightfully-unhinged performance from Tiny Tim, this movie would be completely unremarkable beyond a handful of very awkward and uncomfortable scenes.
