BLOOD MOON FIDDLESTICKS BIO:
A demon of fear and chaos, Fiddlesticks was summoned directly into the mortal realm by Aatrox himself. He craves violence and the taste of blood, driven purely by instinct and compulsion as he tears through Ionia. Other demons follow in his wake, scavenging what remains of his carnage.

aight I haven't made FNAF incorrect quotes in ages if I reuse one I did in a past post so be it
(uh disclaimer: I hc that the FNAF 3 guard and the other three named guards in the series are the fnaf 4 bullies so this is not operating under the theory that Michael is the fnaf 3 guard)
shoutouts to @umbrarkzoo for being cool and getting into a dawko fnaf meme review
*UCN* Mr. Hippo: Man, they look like a real handful. How do you deal with them?  The Puppet, watching Bonnie screaming, Golden Freddy trying to set a sleeping William Afton on fire, and Foxy choking on air: I don't know either.
-
Vanessa, at Starbucks: Can I get a venti vanilla latte with um, seven espresso shots.  William Afton, inside her mind: Jesus Christ, just do cocaine.
-
Golden Freddy: Mr. Hippo is forbidden from monologuing
-
FNAF 3 Guard: What do we think of Fritz?  *pause*  Jeremy Fitzgerald: *sighs* Nice pal.  Michael Afton: I think he's gay.
-
Jeremy Fitzgerald: Fritz, I beg of you. Please, PLEASE go to the doctor.  Fritz Smith: Hey, I'm sorry. Is this OUR stab wound?
-
Crying Child, laying in bed: Get out of my room.  Michael Afton, standing just outside of the door frame: I’m not in your room.
-
Bonnie: I assume you realize that this kind of idiocy will not be tolerated in this house.  Toy Bonnie: Is there any kind of idiocy you would be more comfortable with?
-
Circus Baby: The salary of a clown is 51,000 dollars.  Circus Baby, gesturing to Funtime Foxy and Ballora fighting: And yet these idiots do it daily, and for free!
-
Montgomery Gator: Do you guys hear something?  Roxanne Wolf: I hear the sound of you shutting the fuck up.
-
Michael Afton: Name a more iconic duo than my crippling fear of abandonment and my anxiety. I’ll wait.  Helpy: You and me!  Michael Afton: *tearing up* Ok.
-
Michael Afton, about to be scooped: I have been tricked, I have been backstabbed, and I have quite possibly been bamboozled.
-
Mangle: I have a problem.  Toy Bonnie: If it's harder than 2+2, I can't help.
-
Moon: Oh, fiddlesticks! That really ruffles my feathers!  Gregory: Please, just say fuck.
-
Michael Afton: That was the worst throw ever. Of all time.  Fritz Smith: Not my fault. Somebody put a wall in the way.
-
*pre-divorce*
William Afton: So you like cats?  Henry Emily: Yeah.  William Afton: *tries to impress him by slowly pushing a glass off the table*
-
Fritz Smith: *coughs blood*  Jeremy Fitzgerald: Don't die, Fritz!  Fritz Smith: Don't tell me what to do!
-
Michael Afton: No, this is not a mess. You know what I consider a mess?  Helpy: Your life?  Michael Afton: I- well yes, but-
-
Michael Afton: Everyone knows that Santa is an invention designed by the big five corporations to sell tinsel and video games to an unsuspecting public.  Phone Guy: The whole “childhood wonder” stage just blew right past you, didn’t it?
-
*Something crashes*  Gregory: Shoot-  Glamrock Freddy: *running into the room in a panic* WHAT FELL?!  Vanessa: *walking by the room calmly* What died?
-
Ballora: I personally don't think it's possible to come up with a crazier plan.  Funtime Freddy: We could attack them with hummus.  Ballora: I stand corrected.  Funtime Freddy: Just keeping things in perspective.
-
The Puppet: That's it, I'm cutting off the internet!  Toy Freddy: No, please don't! I have a family to feed!  The Puppet:  The Puppet: What?  Toy Freddy: I need to feed my Neopets!
-
Roxanne Wolf: I think we can all agree I’m the ten amongst these threes.

Summary: Ruidus haunts Orym’s dreams as it does his waking life.
Notes: TW: light body horror. Nothing Laudna hasn’t done in her forms of dread. But just in case!
It’s so insane that Orym’s pet name is literally based on Ruidus, the thing that’s actively fucking up his life. And also what it represents. Like imagine finding out that the cute thing your husband used to call you is actually a symbol of misfortune.
Also for flavoring, when I wrote this, I had in mind that the voice of the Ruidus shadow was like Fiddlesticks from LoL. Listen to him do his Lux voice line “Little Light” and that’s how it’s saying Little moon~
********************************************************
“Orym?”
Orym blinked and sitting in front of him was Will. His breath caught as he frantically reached towards the half elf, running a hand across his tanned skin.
“Will?” he asked in a strangled voice.
Will chuckled, confused. “What’s the matter? You’re acting like you haven’t seen me for years? It was only a week trip with Dad. Did you miss me that much?”
Orym paused. A week? No, it had been— He looked around at their surroundings. They were on a hillside in Zephrah, the wind mingling with the trees to sprinkle soft pink petals onto the grass. Orym looked back at Will, now calmly brushing a hand through the halfling’s hair. It had only been a week, nothing to be worried about.
Orym sighed contentedly and relaxed back into his husband’s embrace. “Sorry, I don’t know why I was worried.”
“Nothing to be sorry about, little moon. We’re okay. We’re safe. We’re home.”
Suddenly Will’s grip on his body tightened. Orym startled and looked up confused. The wind began to pick up and an odd smell mixed with it. A creeping sense of dread began to flood Orym’s mind as his husband looked down at him to speak.
“But then again, perhaps you should be worried.”
A clap of thunder echoed loudly and then the sky turned a deep red. Orym stiffened as the scenery melted away to something more terribly familiar.
The smell of blood was thick in the air. Distant shouts and screams rung out. And just a few feet in front of him laid a body.
His past cry for help did not leave his lips as he watched in horror as the body cracked unnaturally and pushed itself off the ground. A dark shadow of Will began to sluggishly move towards Orym, who had started to back away in shock.
“Little moon….don’t run.”
Orym shook his head rapidly. “No, you’re not—“
“This was your fault and now you’re going to leave me?”
“I didn’t….I found your killer, I just—“
The shadow cracked its head to the side and lunged towards the halfling, pinned him down. Orym struggled in it’s grasp, but his movements felt slowed and his body heavy. He refused to look up into the face of the creature. Or was this truly the spectre of his husband? He didn’t want to know.
“No need to find my killer, I’m looking at him.”
“I tried. Please, I tried but the poison. The Tempest couldn’t do anything.”
The shadow let out a bark of laughter and pulled Orym off of the ground and held him aloft in the air. It then pushed him up against the tree. The very tree that the assassin descended from.
“Come now, little moon,” the twisted spectre of Will crooned mockingly, “you must’ve figured it out by now.
Orym again tried to pull away but the shadow’s grip on his arm was too tight, its now talon-like fingers digging into his skin and drawing blood.
“The common denominator is you. It’s always you. Too weak to save any of them. Too selfish to die.”
The shadow drew the halfling closer to it, raising Orym’s chin to make him look at it. Everything else was all wrong except the face. The face was perfectly Will’s.
“A fitting pet name, I suppose. Little moon. My bringer of misfortune. My herald of death.”
Orym felt the tree behind him start to shake violently and the sound of branches snapping filled the silence. The shadow finally dropped it’s grip and stalked a few feet back.
“And I’m not your only victim now am I?”
The shadow’s face morphed from Will’s to Laudna’s.
“Always the survivor, they chose you, why is it always you!” screamed the shadow in Laudna’s voice.
Then the face shifted into Lord Eshteross’s. It crumpled to the floor in a perfect recreation of his late patron’s final moments. But then it spoke in Imogen’s voice.
“She took his name from your mind, didn’t she? You’re the weak one and yet your folly doomed him. It was your fault.”
Thunder rumbled once more and the sky flashed red. Ruidus’s light was encompassing all. Orym just watched as a storm began to form in the distance. He was shaking, eyes trained on the creature. It snapped back up with unnatural speed, but it did not advance. It’s face changed back to the one that hurt the most. Will’s.
“Can you deny any of this, little moon? Can you not see it?”
Orym reached for a sword that wasn’t there and the creature smiled. Its arm whipped out and stretched towards the halfing’s neck. Orym just barely moved out of the way, rolling over to the other side of the tree. A sharp cackle echoed just on the other side.
“You can’t run from me. Not here. Not anywhere.”
A bright flash lit up the dark red sky and lightning struck the tree, bisecting it and throwing Orym across the courtyard. He barely had time to gain his bearings when the shadow lunged through the now burning tree and plunged its taloned claws into his chest. As it raised its other hand to streak a blow across his face, Orym heard a loud caw. To his surprise, a raven dove talons first into the face of the creature. The shadow let out a screech and it stumbled backwards away from Orym.
He watched in shock and awe as this raven, larger than any other raven he had ever seen, tore at the creature. Its talons slicing at the shadow, almost like daggers. Another bright flash filled the sky and Orym let out a strangled gasp of relief as Catha’s light began to overcome the red of Ruidus’s glow.
The shadow screamed. “No! This one is mine!”
A soft but commanding voice rang out. “Begone wretched creature. You shall not defile my domain like this.”
As Catha’s light spilled into the courtyard, Orym began to feel lighter, warmer, and like someone was pulling him away from the scene in front of him. He shut his eyes as the light became too much to bear and when he opened them again, he was in an empty white void. The raven stood in front of him.
Orym gave it a soft smile. “Thank you.”
The raven flapped its wings. Once. Twice. Thrice. And then in a flurry of feathers, a tall dark haired half elven man stood in front of him.
“My mistress still has plans for you, little warrior. The Moonweaver and she saw it fit to intervene. That aberration of nature is growing bolder. To touch the dreams of those not tainted with it’s power?”
Orym looked down as he followed behind the celestial. He knew exactly who this was. He felt a deep sense of gratitude but yet….
“It’s nothing that I haven’t thought already.”
The Champion of Ravens paused and then knelt in front of the halfling.
“It is true that death hang around you like a spectre, little one. But the source is not you. Your path is one of many hardships and more are coming. But what that creature has parroted back to you is a falsehood. Few can understand my Mistress’s domain. Even fewer can say they alone control it.”
The champion paused once more and then pulled a small snowdrop from his belt. He held it out towards Orym.
“He asked me to take this to you. When you last left this domain. This is not a gift one would give to their killer.”
Orym shakily took the flower from the champion’s hand and finally broke. Tears began pouring down his face as he held the flower close to his chest.
“Such a gift is only fit for one whose hands nurture life. You are not a bringer of death, Orym of the Air Ashari. It is the work of that aberration to mar the light you carry within you.”
The void around them started to get fuzzy and distant. Orym wiped the tears from his eyes and gave the champion a wistful smile.
“Thank you. For this and for all you did for Zephrah.”
The Champion of Ravens looked away at that, but placed a hand on the halfling’s shoulder.
“Go now, little one. Go back to the world of waking.”
***
Orym startled awake to Fearne’s face hovering directly over him.
“You were crying, so I got worried.” she whispered.
Orym patted her leg. “I’m alright now, Fearnie. Thanks for watching out.”
The faun gave a hum and then held out her hand to him. She gently placed a snowbell and a glossy black feather in his lap.
“The flower were in your hands and the feather was on your head. I didn’t want you to accidentally crush them.”
Orym raised an eyebrow at her, amused. After the ordeal of a dream he just had, Fearne’s antics were honestly a comfort.
“Okay, okay, I thought they were pretty.”
“It’s alright. How about I keep the flower and I’ll give you the feather to put in your hair?”
Fearne smiled and nodded as Orym motioned for her to bend down. He tucked the raven’s feather into her multitude of ribbons. She clapped once and then curled back up on their shared bed.
“Good night Orym. I’ll wake you if you have a nightmare again.”
“Good night Fearne, thank you.”
Orym curled back into his usual spot on Fearne’s leg and twirled the flower between his fingers. He placed the new snowbell near the others that grew on his wristguards and druidcrafted it into the weave. Orym let out a tired sigh. His conversation with the champion couldn’t alleviate all the thoughts that shadow threw back at him. Yet, at least for tonight, he felt some comfort from them.
If not today, but certainly one day, he will feel worthy of this gift given to him by the dead.

Sorry this Halloween prompt is a bit late, but here goes. TOH Request; Raine transforms (not painfully, more like pleasurable) into a half-fox half-bat werebeast during one special full moon (think like blue moon, autumn moon level kind of mystical)(Note: I’m not the same anonymous who requested the wereotter + werecat story, nor the Willow and Hunter crack fic).
When Supermoons Bring Forth the Bat-Fox within
Warnings: slight blood? (from nosebleed)
Pairing: Raine/Eda
Wordcount: 5709
Notes: Set after the final battle with Belos in 'Waking and Dreaming' but before the time skip.
You are totally fine with this Halloween prompt anon. I was actually just about to decide what fic to write next when I saw your ask.
If I've started to become known for taking toh were-animal related transformation requests, I'm not complaining lol. I have seen on other blogs sometimes anonymous askers will put a nickname or symbol for themselves at the bottom of their message to differentiate themselves from other anonymouses. So feel free to use something like that if you'd like to.
Rain never thought they would be the type to long for peaceful nights. Yet, they spent years constantly on guard working a rebellion against a dictator. That was bound to do that for someone. Eda’s pupil Luz and her friends had all gone to celebrate some human tradition in the human realm. When Raine had asked Eda about it, she mentioned treats, costumes, and decorations. The kind that seemed to reflect a tamer version of the Boiling Aisles. It was curious. Perhaps some of it was influenced by the Aisles itself. Another human traveler? Something Raine might look into another time.
But that night, they just wanted to spend a night in with their girlfriend Eda. Usually Eda wasn’t the ‘night-in’ type. But everything they went through with Belos seemed to convinced her a break would be worth it.
Raine was still curious about these treats from this Halloween tradition though. So they got Eda to help them find some baking/summoning spells to get such sweets. This way they could try the goodies themself.
Never mind that Eda said the Halloween goods were nothing to write home about. Eda had always had wilder taste than them, though not much more than people would expect.
So Raine set aside some of the papers from such spells they had come across. Raine’s fox palisman, Fiddlesticks spread the sheets out more on the coffee table. The little fox palisman had become more animate now that he was no longer in hiding,
Eda rolled her eyes with a fond smile before she went back to scrolling on penstagram.
Raine sighed as they looked at the options now laid out.
“Okay. So which should we start with?” Raine asked.
Eda shrugged. “I don’t really care. This is your thing you wanted to do,” She said with a wave, not even looking up from her scroll.
Raine rolled their eyes fondly before looking down at their options on the table again.
A light coming from the window caught their attention though. Raine turned to look and saw that the moon looked unusually big and bright tonight. It was beautiful.
They walked over to the window to gaze at it.
“Raine? What are you doing?”
Raine felt almost entranced by it. Before they could respond to Eda, a faint hint of a memory struck them. With a gasp Raine could hear
the low unnerving whisper of an unknown witch. Raine was looking up as though small. A casting circle was drawn over their head. A similar moon to the one they were seeing right then shone.
Raine stumbled and held the wall closest to the window they were peering through.
“Raine!?”
There was a shuffle, but Raine barely registered it.
They felt a shift in their eyes. They blinked rapidly as an almost warm fuzziness filled them all over.
Pleasant shivers started to wind along their arms. Something started to extend from their arms. A thin skin of some kind but leathery.
They faintly registered Eda’s gasp.
The sensation of these new parts was strange, feeling something where they hadn’t before. They gasped as the wingspan continued to expand, bringing with it a feeling of strength. Like they could fly free.
Raine got the urge then to go outside. More tingles all along their body let them know whatever this transformation was, it wasn’t over.
Raine stumbled to the door, their new large wings making balancing on two legs a bit difficult.
Eda called out for them as Raine made it outside. They stopped  a little bit away from the Owl house to catch their breath, but the weird tingles continued.
Raine raised an arm to try and get a look at the new appendage but another jolt distracted them.
A soft warm sensation started to rise up along the rest of their skin. Almost like the faint touch of a caress everywhere. A soft feeling of bristles raised up from within. It didn’t pierce though oddly enough. They were just gradually covered with this softness. Upon moving and feeling it brush against them, Raine realized it was fur.
A dark-brown orangish fur. It was short but all over.
Eda, who was outside now as well, ran over to stand in front of them. Her hands fluttered around them like she was unsure what to do.
“Raine! Oh, are you okay?” Eda asked.
Raine was panting.
“I don’t-“ They gasped again as more movement within their body brought them to hunch forward some.
“-know. I’m not in pain at least,” Raine managed to get out.
Eda narrowed her eyes in confusion. Then Raine let out another breathy noise, causing Eda’s eyes to widen.
There was a build-up of tension on their tail bone that brought Raine to fall to their hands and knees.
Eda let out a concerned noise. With more care than she usually would, Eda gently put her hands on their shoulders.
Raine continued to twitch their face. They jerkily moved their head from side to side as another tingly feeling came from their head at the same time.
Raine jut their bottom out and moved their hips in a circle as the tension moved closer to the surface of their skin. Then a new appendage suddenly popped out attached to their tail bone. It was also covered in fur, but the fur felt longer this time. Raine went with the urge to move their tail about back and forth.
Head growths extended up and pointed. With it giving Raine enhanced hearing. Raine still twitched their face before sneezing. A snout now in the place of their nose.
Their eyes crossed for a moment with a warm feeling before they blinked. They now saw differently out of each eye. As the warm feeling from their eyes dissipated, a new fuzziness started to come over Raine’s mind. New instincts took over.
*
Eda had seen a lot of things over the years. But this caught her by surprise. She knew Raine pretty well. And she thought she would catch any signs from anyone around her having anything like her curse. So, she’s not sure how she missed this. It was clear from their reactions though, that Raine had no idea either.
Well, she could find out more about that later. The more important issue was that her partner had transformed into a werebeast. One she had never seen before.
She took a couple of steps back as the transformation seemed to set in. She could see the cloudiness of a beast taking over on Raine’s newly heterochromatic eyes. One eye was an almost glowing yellow, the other red. A circle of black fur was around the red eye. Most of their body was that dark-brown orangish fur though.
Their clothes had disappeared at some point when the fur set in. Kind of like what would happen with Eda when she transformed into the owl beast.
The wings were a giveaway, as those type of wings were unique to bats. The outside was black, but the inside facing their stomach was a light purple. Like the bat queen’s wings.
They had pointed ears at the top of their now furry head. But the ears stood out, matching the wings in the fur being black. The inner ears were that light purple as well. A fox/bat combination then?
Somehow Raine’s earring they always wore was still in, worn on the fox-bat ear now.
Eda bent down slightly.
“Raine? You in there?” She asked and waited.
Raine’s nose wiggled as they sniffed around them. They then threw their head back and let out a screech.
Eda took a few more steps back and grabbed her staff, with one hand out in front of her.
There was a small scuffling coming from behind Eda. Raine’s fox palisman fiddlesticks scampered over and stopped just in front of her. He also sniffed the air and let out a questioning bark to Raine.
Raine’s eyes honed in on fiddlesticks, and they let out a screaming bark.
Fiddlesticks barked again. Then he stood back with his hindlegs before bowing his head in a show of submission.
Raine paused and then carefully stepped forward towards the fox palisman. Eda held her position, watching the interaction with cation in case she needed to step in.
Raine bent down to curiously sniff Fiddlesticks, the small fox staying still to let them.
After a moment Raine let out a smaller chirp of a bark before nuzzling Fiddlesticks. The small fox let out a similar small bark and stood up again, wagging his tail.
Honestly, the whole interaction was quite cute. She didn’t need anyone to see her smiling fondly at something cute like this.
What would they do without palisman?
Fiddlesticks ran around Raine in circles a couple of times. Then he leaped to sit on their shoulder.
Raine let out another screech bark before turning to face the nearest woods. They then got into a runner’s position before running forward and extending their wings.
With a few flaps Raine pushed off and flew forward in the air. It became clear rather quick though the fox body did not help Raine balance while flying.
They tilted from side to side in the air, screeching as they had to flap their wings more rapidly to stay straight.
Eda winced at what she could see of it. Her poor partner.
She slid onto her palisman staff and flew to try and catch up with them. Something told her it would not be a good idea to leave an unknown beast alone. As Eda followed, she tried to figure out the cause of this transformation of her partner.
Raine had been fine earlier. They certainly didn’t act like they knew anything strange would happen. At one point they had been drawn to looking out the window though. What could get their attention out there?
Eda thought back to how her property looked right now. It wouldn’t be anything Raine didn’t know about. They were practically living with her now after all.
What would stand out?
Seeing the moonlight got her to look up. Oh, the moon. It was bigger and brighter than usual. What was that called again? She knew humans called it a super moon. It was a rare occurrence. Less rare on the Boiling Aisles, but still rare.
Could that be the cause? It would explain why Raine wouldn’t have known about it though. Was it the moonlight of simply the rare moon itself?
Well, moonlight would be near impossible for them to avoid now. That might not even reverse it anyways.
The moon wouldn’t last forever. Should she wait it out for now and see? Hopefully it would be okay to do so. Until she knew more that was.
At one point Eda saw Raine flying down to the forest at an angle that did not look like it would be a safe landing. Fiddlesticks gave a little screech and hid his face in Raine’s neck.
Eda cringed and flew closer.
She spun in the air and grabbed her staff so she could create a shield around Raine. This stopped them just before hitting the ground too hard. After holding them just above the ground for a moment she gently released them to a softer fall.
Raine didn’t even look back at her after landing. They shook their head, stood up again and ran into the forest.
Eda sighed  and landed softly onto the forest floor. But then she plopped down to sit right there on the ground in the middle of the woods. She was already tired from chasing after Raine, and the night was still young.
She tapped Owlbert with a finger, who shook himself and hooted gently at her. Eda pointed forward.
“Can you track down the fox-bat beast and then lead me to them?”
Owlbert nodded and then flew off in the direction she pointed.
It didn’t take long before he flew back to her. Eda groaned, and got Owlbert to help her up before she started following his guide.
She really wanted to fly there again, but there wasn’t always enough room in the forest to do so.
Eda muttered aloud as she followed Owlbert through the forest. Because she was already seen as a kooky old lady. And even if she cared, which she doesn’t, no one was around to hear anyways. So she was allowed.
Especially when  her first quiet night in a while turned into babysitting her a werebeast. Who also happened to be her partner.  She didn’t blame them of course. That didn’t mean she wasn’t going to be grumpy about it though.
Eventually Owlbert stopped and perched on her shoulder. He hooted quietly and pointed forward with his beak. She narrowed her eyes at him before she carefully stepped forward and looked ahead.
Raine was lowered to the ground, and stalking something Eda didn’t see yet. She looked around to make sure it wasn’t something she would have to save. But the target was just a low-level demon creature, like an animal would be in the human realm.
Raine crept forward a couple more slow steps, before pouncing forward.
The animal let out a small sound before quickly scurrying away, evidently not caught in Raine’s grasp. Eda winced at the failed attempt.
Raine growled when it got away. They had tried to grab the creature with their bat hands. Apparently the instincts of the two animals in Raine were contradicting each other. In ways that was hurting their ability to hunt.
Fiddlesticks whined and nuzzled against Raine's leg to try and comfort them.
Raine huffed but didn’t push him away.
Eda sighed and revealed herself to them.
“Hey, Raine?”
Raine turned to face her and took a couple steps back, but didn’t move to attack her.
Fiddlesticks happy barked at her and trotted over. She chuckled as he ran a couple of circles around her.
Raine tilted their head as they watched.
Owlbert flew down to stand by Fiddlesticks on the ground. The small fox chirped a small bark again and nuzzled against him. Owlbert cooed a gentle hoot and closed his eyes, nudging back.
“Look,” Eda began, to get Raine’s attention again. “I can see you’re having trouble there,” She gestured to where Raine’s failed hunt had been.
Raine’s gaze followed her gesture and then they growled at her. Eda lifted her hands in the air.
“Hey, I’m not going to hurt you Raine. In fact, I wanted to help you.”
Raine stopped growling, but their body language was still guarded.
“Look. I definitely have some raw meat at home. How about I bring you some? That way you can still eat something,” Eda said.
Raine didn’t respond, which made Eda wonder if they understood any of that.
So, she thought it was best to just show them. She turned to Owlbert.
“Will you be able to carry a flank of meat from the fridge to out here?” She asked him.
Owlbert hooted and nodded before flying out of the woods.
Raine watched Owlbert fly away, and then turned to face Eda again.
“He’s just going to get you some of the meat I mentioned,” Eda said to them.
The stare off continued. But it was better than the werebeast damaging anything, Eda supposed.
Owlbert did seem to be struggling with carrying the flank of meat. But he managed to bring it over and drop it at Raine’s feet before flying back to Eda.
Raine’s attention was immediately drawn to the meat. They bent down and sniffed it, but didn’t take long to start tearing into the raw meat like they were starving.
Eda pursed her lips. It wasn’t really possible to be a vegetarian on the Boiling Aisles. But Raine was usually the closest one could be to one. Sort of like what would be a pescatarian in the human realm. So seeing the way Raine tore into the meat was strange for Eda. Just another reminder of how the beast from this curse had taken over.
After chowing down on this for a bit, Raine left maybe half of it still there.
Fiddlesticks chirp barked again before trotting forward and nibbling at the meat. Eda could have sworn she heard Raine grumble at that, but they didn’t retaliate at all. Instead, they turned away from the others and started digging. Or at least tried to dig. Once again, bat hands were not designed for digging.
Raine whined after trying for a bit and not getting very deep. Fiddlesticks barked and started to dig right next to where Raine had been trying. Raine shook their head and then placed the leftover meat next to where the smaller fox was digging.
Then Raine stood up again and shook their wings out to get off any dirt from the digging attempt. After that, they let out another screech. Then they continued to run through the forest again. Eda stared after them for a moment.
“…well, I don’t think I’m going to be able to keep up with chasing them around all night,” She said.
She then turned to the little fox palisman enthusiastically trying to dig a burrow for Raine.
She would have left, but she wasn’t sure it was a good idea to leave the little guy alone in the woods at night. She’d seen enough stuff against palisman to be more protective of them now.
Apparently Raine didn’t get very far though. Owlbert flew up and let Eda know he saw them not too far ahead. The same problem with being unbalanced must have continued when Raine tried to run. Even when they folded their bat wings against their body.
Eda walked forward until she could see Raine’s tail in the air, their butt sticking up. They stayed like that, so Eda walked closer to get a better look at them. It looked like Raine had tripped over their own feet and fallen face first.
Raine was whimpering. Eda let out a sympathetic noise as she walked to the front of them and knelt down.
“Aw, I’m sorry. You’ll be okay.”
Raine blinked and slowly lifted their head off the ground. They shook their head a couple of times to get the dirt off.
Eda hissed in sympathy when she saw Raine’s nose was bleeding a little.
“Ohh.” She reached down and tore off a corner of her dress. She then carefully reached forward to dab the blood away from the nostrils. Raine moved their head back a bit when Eda first touched them, but didn’t fight her when she cleaned them up.
“I wish I had a healer with me,” Eda said. Maybe that showed she had gone soft though. Wanting to get a healer for a little nose bleed. But well, she already felt bad for Raine. She knew what it was like to be turned into a beast without your consent. At least she was assuming that was the case with them as well.
When she was done Raine nosed against Eda and then started to nuzzle against her as well.
“Oh, have I gained your trust now?” She asked with some humor in her voice.
Raine huffed and then licked her cheek.
Eda scrunched her face at the surprise tongue and then laughed.
“Yeah yeah, you’re welcome. I love you too.”
Raine started to stand up on shaky legs.
“Whoa, you got it?” Eda asked.
Raine nodded and went back to where Fiddlesticks was still digging his little burrow.
Raine pushed Eda away from the digging a bit with their snout and  then pointed down at where she was standing.
“What?” Eda asked.
Rained stamped his foot and pointed down again.
“…do you want me to sit here?” She asked.
Raine nodded. Eda slowly sat down in that spot a bit awkwardly. Raine spun in a circle before laying down behind her.
Raine seemed to have forgotten the dirt was being flung where they currently were. Raine lifted up a bat wing to shield them from the dirt.
Then Raine barked. The digging stopped and fiddlesticks came over to them with his tongue lolling out. Raine made an arc with his snout. Fiddlesticks barked and then snuggled up against Eda’s side.
Raine settled down again, almost curling around Eda. They then wrapped their bat wings around themselves and Eda. Her head remained uncovered.
Eda looked around at the bat wings around them.
“…have I been forced into cuddle time now?” Eda asked. Rained simply nuzzled her in response. Eda sighed with an exasperated smile.
Owlbert, who had been watching, tilted his head at Eda.
“Would you mind getting me my scroll?” She asked him. “I have no idea how long we’re going to stay like this.”
Owlbert hooted and flew off back to the Owl House.
Eda looked at the fox creatures snuggled up around her.
“…should I like tell a story or something?”
Raine barked and nuzzled her again.
“Okay, I haven’t told you about all the shenanigans the kids got up to yet anyways. So this one started when I got a letter in the mail about a carnival…”
When Owlbert came back with her scroll, she paused when she saw she was getting a call. Eda wrestled one arm out from the bat wing prison,
“One sec,” She said. Before she answered the call.
It was Darius, looking as serious as ever.
“Oh. Hey! What’s up?”
Darius sighed.
“There has been reports of people seeing a new type of beast leave the Owl House. Would you happen to know anything about that?” He asked.
Eda simply aimed the scroll to show Darius the fox-bat curled around her.
“That answer your question?” She asked.
Darius pinched his nose in response.
“The residents around here have already been on edge enough after Belos’ destruction,” He said.
“Hey, look,” She frowned, “This wasn’t my fault!”
Raine whined and blinked their eyes open.
“I don’t think it was theirs either,” She added.
“I’m pretty sure they’re harmless. They haven’t done anything to me. The creature couldn’t even hunt properly!”
Darius raised an eyebrow. “Oh really? And how do you figure that?”
“Because I’ve been watching them!” Eda exclaimed. “I think this curse was the result of some shaky experimental magic. The combined animals don’t seem to complement each other well, at least not in the way the traits presented here.”
Darius hmmed.
“So, what are you doing about this?  Actually, how did this happen anyways,” Darius asked.
Eda threw her hands up, or tried to as one arm was still restrained from the bat wing.
“I don’t know! All I know is one moment we were bantering about the human treats Raine wanted to try making. The next they are starting to transform into a strange werebeast,” Eda said.
“Wait, did you say that was Raine!?” Darius asked.
Eda nodded. Raine sat up and peered over Eda’s shoulder at the scroll.
Darius gasped. Maybe he saw the earring.
“Raine?”
Raine tilted their head.
“I’m not sure how much they understand right now,” Eda said. “It’s been unclear.”
“I’m guessing you have an idea on what to do about this?” Darius asked.
“Honestly, right now my plan is to wait out the night. I have a theory the super moon tonight caused it, so if that’s the case, they should be back to normal in the morning.”
“And if it’s not?” Darius asked.
“Well, I’ll figure that out if we get to that point,” She said. “Come on, this isn’t the craziest thing I’ve encountered around here,”
Darius hmmed.
“I’m sure. How about for now? Should we warn the kids not to return to the Owl house tonight?”
“Eh, I don’t think that’s necessary. They haven’t seemed to hold any ill will to anyone, aside from some common preyed upon critters. Besides, your Hunter seems to have an affinity for wolves. Maybe Raine will see them as kin,” Eda snickered.
Darius huffed and rolled his eyes.
“Hunter having a love for wolves does not mean he is one,” Darius said.
“Yeah, well, I believe he is dressed as a werewolf tonight though, right?”
“…yes,” Darius said, looking grumpy that she brought it up.
“So, I think they’ll be fine. Hunter would probably be friendly enough like a pup anyways. If anything, I might need to warn the kids if I come back late though,”
She gestured to her position against the werebeast.
“They are apparently very snuggly when like this,” Eda said.
“Somehow, that seems fitting,” Darius mutter, “Just please tell me if you need any assistance.”
“Aw, are you worried Darry? Yeah, of course I will.”
Darius huffs again.
“Don’t call me that! And keep me updated,” Darius said before hanging up.
Eda chuckled at that. She looked back over to Raine who was starting to settle in again now that the call was over.
“Okay, so where was I?”
*
As Raine started to wake up, they could tell their face was in Eda’s hair. That part wasn’t unusual. They tended to take turns on who was the little spoon. As they started to shift around though, it began to become clear rather quick that they were not in Eda’s bed. Raine blinked their eyes and started to pull their face away with a nose wrinkle. Her hair was starting to tickle their nose.
Raine put a hand to the side and started to push themself up. Their hand slipped a bit. Raine looked down and saw they were laying in leaves. Raine shook their head and looked around a bit groggily. What were they doing in the woods?
Eda yawned beside them. Raine looked to her and saw his girlfriend stretch out like a cat. It was endearing. She blinked and looked over at Raine. Her eyes were narrowed in confusion as well. But a moment later, as her eyes cleared from grogginess, she slowly began to smile again.
“Morning, Raine. It is good to see you back to normal again.”
Raine leaned back and narrowed their eyes at her in confusion.
“Hm?”
They started to rub their eyes to wake up more.
Back to normal? What did she mean by that? What happened?
Then it hit them as memories started to resurface.
The draw of the big moon.
The strangely pleasant warm fuzzy feeling that encompassed their whole body. Transforming.
Along with other images from being in the air and on all fours. They couldn’t recall many coherent thoughts after the transformation. Mainly just instinctive wants for food and protecting themselves from harm.
Raine tried to think harder and recall more details from the night prior. But they groaned and held their head as a headache grew.
Eda tutted. She drew a circle and summoned a gourd of water.
“Here,” She said, and held it in front of Raine.
Raine winced but grabbed the gourd with a shaky hand. Eda reached forward and held the back of Raine’s hand to steady them. She then helped guide their hand so they could take a sip.
They sighed as water went down, having not even realized how thirsty they had been.
“Yeah, I’m not surprised you got a headache after the night you had,” Eda said.
“You’re probably dehydrated as well.”
Raine gave an aborted nod.
“What do you remember?” Eda asked.
Raine sighed.
“Mainly the transformation, not much after that. At least not enough to make sense of.”
Eda hmmed and nodded.
“Yeah, I figured as much. I could see by the look in your eyes the beast had taken over,” Eda said.
Raine’s eyes widened.
“The beast? Does that mean-“
Eda shook her head.
“Nope. No one was hurt,” She said.
Rained exhaled in relief at that.
“You couldn’t even hunt very well, to be honest. You tried going after some critter but weren’t very successful,” Eda said.
Raine couldn’t help but chuckle a little at that.
“That might have been a good thing, even if it’s a bit strange. I thought instincts took over with beast transformation spells,” Raine said.
“I got the impression this was not a usual beast transformation spell. Do you have any idea how you got cursed with such a thing,” Eda asked.
Raine hmmed.
“Possibly. I recalled seeing something with a strange witch I didn’t know, on a similar night to last night. I think it was when I was a child,” Raine said.
Eda hmmed.
“Maybe your parents know something about it then. I wouldn’t be surprised if who ever cast it on you was experimenting with something. The animals you were a combination of didn’t seem to gel well together. Not in the way their traits presented in you that is,” Eda said.
“What animals were they?” Raine asked.
“A bat and a fox,” Eda said.
Raine gasped.
“Those are two of my favorite animals! Now I’m bummed I don’t remember much. That must have been so cool,” Rained said.
Eda snickered at that.
“Even though they kept counteracting each other?” Eda asked in amusement.
“Well, still! Maybe there’s a way the two could actually aide each other. If the initial components of the spell are infused in a different way…” Raine began to muter to themselves.
“Babe…are you seriously suggesting trying to recreate a version of your curse? Which turned you into a bat-fox werebeast last night,” Eda asked.
Raine shrugged.
“I mean, you said it yourself, everything turned out alright. And we’ll have more caution going into it this time,” Raine said.
“You just miss the excitement of being undercover for the rebellion, don’t you?” Eda asked.
Raine gaped and then gave her a sheepish look.
“…perhaps.”
Eda shook her head.
“Well, we can talk about that another time. I wanted to find more information on your curse anyways. For now though, let’s head inside. I bet King is waiting for us. He only had Hooty for company last night after he got back from Halloween festivities,” Eda said.
“Oh that’s right, you stayed out here with me last night,” Raine said, looking around the clearing they had woke up in.
Fiddlesticks, Raine’s fox palisman, perked up then.  He had been curled up near a partial burrow in the ground for some reason.
The fox let out a cheerful bark, and jumped up to put their front paws on Raine’s legs. Raine laughed and gave their palisman some scritches. They recalled seeing the small fox around while being in beast mode. He was no doubt a very good boy.
Eda nodded.
“I wasn’t given much of a choice. You curled up around me and trapped me with your bat swings,” Eda said.
Raine blushed and laughed a bit at that.
“Oh no, my secret cuddling desires came out in beast form,” Raine said. Eda rolled her eyes fondly and then stood up. She held out a hand, which Raine took to stand up.
“I mean, I wasn’t going to complain about snuggling with my partner. Even if they were bigger and furrier than usual,” Eda said.
Once Raine was standing, Eda booped them on the nose.
“It was still you after all,” Eda said. Raine briefly went cross-eyed at the boop. It was such an innocent cutesy gesture, that it caught Raine off guard.
She reached to the side to grasp his hand before they started walking forward out of the forest. Fiddlesticks chirp-barked happily and trotted alongside them. He did an impressive job of keeping up with the pair considering his little legs.
As they were just exiting the forest, Eda’s scroll rang.
Eda got it out.
“Ah, morning Darius. I don’t usually see you up this early,” She said brightly.
Darius glowered at her and then sighed.
“Any update on the situation from last night?” Darius asked.
In response, Eda pointed the scroll at Raine.
Raine smiled and waved.
“Hi Darius! I’m thinking I can guess what situation you are referring to?” Raine asked.
Darius exhaled in relief.
“Yes, I’m sure you can. How are you feeling, Raine? Any lingering affects from the curse that afflicted you last night?” Darius asked.
Raine thought for a moment.
“Nothing I’ve noticed yet. Aside from a headache and some thirst,” Raine said.
Darius nodded. “Okay, good. Eda-“
“I’m already on it,” Eda cut in. “I am officially in care-for-the-partner-post-werebeast-mode.”
Raine huffed, but they were smiling.
“I would like to know anything you might know about what caused this to happen in the first place,” Darius said.
“Well-“ Raine started.
“We can debrief you at an official time later,” Eda interrupted. “Right now, I need to get Raine settled after staying out in the forest all night. I also want to do a more thorough check over Raine to make sure everything is okay.”
Raine rolled their eyes. This meant she was going to hover. Eda was more protective than she would let on.
“Does this mean you’re in mother-hen mode?” Raine drolled.
Eda scoffed, “What, no. Of course not,” Eda denied. But Raine knew better.
Darius pursed his lips.
“Very well. Just please, don’t take too long to debrief me on what you know,” Darius said.
“Yeah yeah. Don’t worry, D. I got it handled,” Eda said and then hung up on the other.
Despite what Eda claimed, she very much did hover as soon as she got Raine back into the Owl house. Making them sit. Getting them food. Checking over them and muttering about whether she should get a healer over for a checkup. Fiddlesticks did what he could to help Eda as well. Although when she checked them over, he mainly just got affectionate with Raine. Being the cute little fox he was.
Raine was a bit exasperated at the treatment, they felt fine. But Raine couldn’t help but watch Eda with a besotted gaze as she bustled around to tend to them. Even as she grumbled about it.
Halloween had not turned out the way Raine expected it to. The unused spells were still strewn about the coffee table, not that Eda would let them lift a finger right then.
It did seem like it was an eventful night though, where the couple definitely bonded. Well, Raine was used to some excitement anyways. It’s not like having a new mystery in their life was anything unusual.

An alien princess from a faraway galaxy, Star Guardians were a mere myth for her people - until Fiddlesticks struck them;
Being chosen that same night, Qiyana had to battle the living nightmare on her own until dawn, and would have been eaten by the creature if the rest of her future team hadn't joined her, dropping like meteors on her land;
Given the orange gem, Qiyana is the glue that holds her team together - though while Seraphine does it with positivity and darling songs, Qiyana has a system of tough love where she makes the hard decisions that might seem heartless, but have kept the team alive for as long as they have been together;
She earned for the pink gem so she could lead her team, but having been denied it she grew to resent the First Star;
Though loyal to the rest of her team, she and Kayle often butted heads due to the other's position as their leader and Qiyana's constant doubt about her strategies and plans;
The rest of the team is made up of Zeri, Lucian, and Diana;
Though Qiyana tries not to attach herself to people, she does have a weak spot for Zeri ( even going as far as to see her as a younger sibling );
Her uniform began as mostly oranges and yellows, though it began to show pinks after Kayle's demise;
Which the pink guardian met when she was too weak to pull herself over a ledge and extended her hand toward Qiyana, only for the latter to watch as her grip weakened and she eventually fell into the Abyss;
Qiyana assumed the role of leader, only for the First Star to send a new pink guardian their way mere moons later;
With centuries of teamwork between them, the team was obviously cautious of the newcomer - especially as Qiyana undermined her plans and manipulated the others into thinking any mistakes made during missions derive from the other's guidance, going as fae as to letting herself get hit to prove a strategy was 'flawed';
Currently undercover in Valoran High to find leads of what happened to the Star Guardians of that location after the fight with the Twilight Star, Qiyana plans to become her team's leader, no matter what it takes;

The chinchilla-shaped mascot is one of the grumpiest critters one might meet. Extremely protective of Qiyana, he tends to bite any who approach her unless offered a tasty ice cream treat. Even then, it might take much more to get him to leave his usual spot laying across her shoulders.

Yesterday Katey posted to her twitter saying that next thursday will be her last day at Riot (so most likely Sept 16th, 2021).
Tumblr media
She was known as the Nami-Mommy throughout most of the community and worked on a BUNCH of skins.  She posted this on her Riot anniversary on June 30th of all the skins she worked on:
Tumblr media
Since it's pretty hard to read from the picture, I'll do my best to list them all: 2014: Reaper Soraka Victorious Morgana Battlecast Kog'maw Captain Volibear Constable Trundle Winter Wonder Orianna 2015: Wild Card Shaco King of Clubs Morde Order of the Lotus Irelia Prehistoric Cho'gath Pool Party Rek'sai Pool Party Draven Captain Fortune Battle Boss Blitzcrank Arcade Riven Project: Yi Project Fiora Championship Kalista Warden Karma Warden Jax Marauder Alistar Marauder Olaf Marauder Ashe Marauder Warwick Demon Vi Slayer Jinx Void Bringer Illaoi Snow Day Syndra Blood Moon Elise Challenger Ahri DJ Sona Firecracker Jinx Sweetheart Annie Debonair Galio Headhunter Akali Urf the Nami-tee Archduke Nasus Definitely Not Udyr Order of the Banana Soraka Guardian of the Sands Rammus Arclight Vayne Risen Fiddlesticks Queen of Diamonds Syndra Ace of Spades Ezreal 2016: Challenger Nidalee Lunar Wraith Morgana Sweetheart Sona Heartseeker Orianna Death Blossom Kha'zix Hextech Ward Mecha Zero Sion Mecha Zero Ward Super Galaxy Kindred Super Galaxy Fizz Freljord Taliyah El Leon Gnar El Macho Mundo Deep Sea Nami Star Guardian Jinx Mechs and Minions Ward Victorious Maokai Elementalist Lux Elementalist Ward 2017: Heartseeker Quinn Love Dove Ward Festival Queen Anivia Dragon Sorceress Zyra Moo Cow alistar Dreadnova Darius Cosmic Blade Master Yi Cosmic Dawn Rakan Pulsefire Caitlyn Pulsefire ward SKT T1 Nami SKT T1 Syndra Pentakill Kayle Star Guardian Ahri Star Guardian Miss Fortune Star Guardian Soraka Beekeeper Signed Arclight Yorick Death Sworn Katarina Death Sworn Viktor Death Sworn Zed Mecha Rengar 2018: Sweetheart Rakan Sweetheart Xayah Lunar Empress Lux Lunar Guardian Warwick Lunar Guardian Nasus Dragon Master Swain Resistance Illaoi Pizza Delivery Sivir Dark Star Cho'gath (I went to HS with Brian, the guy they made this skin for ♥) SSG Ezreal SSG Jarvan SSG Xayah SSG Rakan SSG Gnar SSG Taliyah Pool Party Zoe Pool Party Caitlyn Pool Party Gangplank Mafia Braum (or now "Crime City" Braum) High Noon Thresh High Noon Urgot Divine Sword Irelia Enduring Sword Talon Infernal Amumu Count Kledula Trick or Treat Ekko Program Nami Victorious Orianna Pajama Guardian Soraka Pajama Guardian Miss Fortune Pajama Guardian Ezreal Pajama Guardian Lux Pajama Guardian Lulu Ice King Twitch Frozen Prince Mundo Winter Wonder Soraka Hextech Renekton 2019: Blood Moon Pyke Blood Moon Aatrox & Prestige Blood Moon Sivir Firecracker Vayne & Prestige Firecracker Sejuani Coin Emperor Tahm Kench Heartpiercer Fiora Heartbreaker Vi Papercraft Anivia Papercraft Nunu Arclight Brand Pretty Kitty Rengar Fuzz Fizz Corgi Corki Meowrick Dunkmaster Ivern Hextech Jarvan IG Leblanc IG Camille IG Fiora IG Kai'sa Dark Star Shaco Dark Star Karma Arcade Kai'sa Arcade Caitlyn Battle Boss Yasuo Demacia Vice Garen Demacia Vice Lucian Dragon Oracle Udyr Hextech Rammus Elderwood Ahri Elderwood Nocturne Elderwood Veigar Championship Ryze Valiant Sword Riven Majestice Empress Morgana Splendid Staff Nami High Noon Ashe Witch's Brew Blitz Bewitched Miss Fortune Count Kassadin Dawnbringer Karma Dawnbringer Nidalee Nightbringer Vladimir Nightbringer Lee Sin 2020: Mecha Kingdoms Garen Heartseeker Jinx Heartseeker Yuumi Furyhorn Cosplay Veigar Pajama Guardian Urgot Coven Zyra Coven Leblanc FPX Malphite FPX Vayne FPX Lee Sin FPX Thresh Spirit Blossom Yasuo Spirit Blossom Cassiopeia PsyOps Master Yi PsyOps Ezreal PsyOps Pyke PsyOps Viktor Championship Leblanc K/DA All Out Seraphine Cosmic Destiny Nami Battle Queen Janna Elderwood Xayah Elderwood Rakan 2021: Ruined Karma Ruined Shyvana Ruined Draven Space Groove Lux Space Groove Nasus DWG Jhin DWG Nidalee PROJECT: Sejuani Sentinel Irelia It honestly scares me that not one, not two, but now THREE people in the skins department are leaving back to back (Stellari, Zeronis in October of 2020 and now Katey.. like what the fuck is going on???
