It wasn’t very long for him, but it was long for the other cats.

Then he met Acornpaw. They became friends, and Blackears offered him a two-day old sheep carcass in exchange for keeping him a secret.

He wandered awhile.

Then he met another apprentice. He tied to talk, but Creampaw started yelling at him, calling him a monster.

He lost it.

He killed the apprentice.

A bit later, he learned that Creampaw had been the kit of his old friend.

After this, he killed a random warrior. Now, his murderous deeds finally caught up with his mental state, tearing it down and causing him to have a breakdown that resulting in him starving himself.

how is there never multiple cats in different clans with the same name at the same time. say queen a gives birth in one clan and her kit has a solid black ear with little to no other black on it. this is a very defining trait, so she names the kit blackkit. queen b in a different clan has a kit with a black ear, but also some other defining traits probably as well idk. she also names it blackkit because of its black ear. several moons pass, both kits are ready to receive their warrior names and are both named blackear. next gathering comes around, and since neither leader knew in advance that the other was going to name their cat blackear, it is now a very akward situation. how has this never happened before.
