Sailor Moon Series - 1994 - A Busy Year
A busy 1994 for the Sailor Moon franchise continued with the release of 2D top-down arcade title Panic in Nakayoshi World for the SNES. This title would also be joined by Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon S Jōgai Rantō!? Shuyaku Sōdatsusen and another change of genre for the series, this being Sailor Moon's first foray into the fighting game genre.
Also releasing in 1994 was a second release for the TurboGrafx CD with Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon Collection in Japan, this title was a collection of mini games such as a rock-paper-scissors game, a memory input game and a butt sumo game, yes you read that correctly, you must use the butt of one of the characters to push another off of a platform.

『Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon』 Unused Sailor V Sprites
User Roket at The Spriter's Resource discovered these unused Sailor V sprites from Pretty Gaurdian Sailor Moon, an arcade adaptation of an anime adaptation of Naoko Takeuchi's iconic magical girl manga.
Since they're both identities of Minako Aino, it makes sense that these Sailor V sprites use Sailor Venus sprites as a base.
This compilation of unused dialogue portraits includes a few of Minako's Sailor V persona. Interestingly, two of the portraits have a color scheme similar to when Zoisite imitated Sailor Moon in the anime's first season.
That disguised version of Zoisite actually appeared as a palette swapped boss in the SNES adaption of the anime.

Stalling tactics in Dragonball Sparking Zero. Apparently the optimal strategy is to use one or two characters who can run from their opponent endlessly. Get a life lead, then run down the clock. A common fighting game strategy.
When running is too strong, simple, or easy to do, game balance suffers. The tournament participants claim they used this strategy to highlight flaws in the game that need to be fixed before the game can be competitive.
I think stalling characters are interesting, even if they ‘break the game’. This looks like a scenario where stalling is too strong.
I’ll have to make a video of the famous stalling strats. Chibi Moon in Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon S: Jōgai Rantō!? Shuyaku Sōdatsusen, S Morrigan in CVS2, and Athena in KOF 98 come to mind.
