PANEL DE PON ENGLISH FANDUB ANNOUNCEMENT

I would like to announce that I am now officially working on a project to dub the entirety of Panel de Pon into English! That's right! All of it!

Yes. But the Stardroid in this case. And maybe the dwarf planet too.

I wonder how it feels knowing that people don't consider the celestial body you're named after a planet anymore...? Though honestly, Pluto tends to get brought up when discussing the Solar System anyways, so it doesn't really matter at this rate.

Here's an interesting fact. Apparently Slash Man from Mega Man 7 was based on Pluto's design. That would explain why the former looks like a wildcat crossed with a dinosaur.

Enter a warp pipe wrong and you could be sent down to the Minus World! With otherworldly, almost glitchy physics and movements, volleyball almost plays by its own rules here.

This was one of the coolest stadiums I've worked on! I mainly took inspiration from the FDS version of the Minus World, as well as World 9 from Lost Levels. I wanted to really toe the line between "otherworldly strange" and "outright .exe material" and I really like the result

PANEL DE PON ENGLISH FAN DUB PROJECT UPDATE

Yep. You've read that right ladies and gentlemen. Our* voice actors have been found and recording for the voice lines have been completed!

All that's left for me is to get some gameplay from Panel De Pon. Then I can edit the videos add some finishing touches and then (eventually) the videos will be released to my YouTube Channel: Switch-E-Roo

I might even post a trailer at some point (Keyword: "might"). But in the meantime, just keep an eye out for any info regarding the project.

🎵We are going to Mars Do Do Do Do Do Do Do🎵

Anyone else seen that show when they were younger? It was really good. Anyways...

Now we move on to the Stardroid, Mars.

This one was my favorite to make so far because I got to experiment a little bit with the MIDI file I was using. I'm able to add extra instruments without compromising the instruments already in the MIDI.

This is good, because with, say, Touhou MIDI's, I'm usually forced to sacrifice a few instruments to be able to get the file to play relatively smoothly on the actual file. So it was nice to not have to worry as much about that for once.

So I recently just finished playing through Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir!

Just wanted to give a little quick review of how I felt about the game! Don't worry no spoilers are mentioned!

✔️Amazing Story.

✔️ Lovely Art style.

✔️ Solid OST.

✔️ Great character design's.

➖ Having to double-check areas to progress the story or find clues.

✖️ The story felt rushed during the last chapter.

✖️ The characters not being fully fleshed out as I would have liked.

(Applies to survivors and characters before their deaths. Yes, I know this is a murder mystery game; however, even before characters die, they can still be fleshed out and explored a fair bit.

Although I know this game is a remake, and for the type of game it is, I'm willing to let it slide. Especially since this is probably the first of its kind when the game was originally made. However, still disappointed, but none of what I said here applies to the MC.)

Overall an 8/10 for me. I ended up enjoying this game way more than I thought I would! Even though I did have a few issues and things I didn't I still fell in love with this game. And will definitely be looking forward to playing The Girl Who Stands Behind!
