twist on dinluke “there’s only one bed” au: there is, in fact, only one bed but Din insists on Luke taking it, and Luke thinks that Din is just being really chivalrous and he blushes, but really it’s because Din has never slept in an actual bed in his whole life (just flat bunks on the Crest and sometimes even the ground with his clan) and honestly the floor is more comfortable to him than a feather bed any day.

(when Luke finds out he almost cries and he gets Din to sleep in the bed the next night, but he ends up kicking him in his sleep all night long)

My favorite headcanon is that Din isn’t stoic all the time, he has a sense of humor.

It’s just that it’s a fucking weird sense of humor. Like weird enough that other people don’t even know he’s joking or they just miss it completely. He’ll say things that objectively aren’t funny or remotely joke-like and to him it’s hilarious. It’s a little like gallows humor but it’s also so much more than that. Like sometimes it’s even mundane shit.

Case and point: “Wake me up if that door gets sucked off it’s rails.” That’s his joke, not the second part. He literally had to explain to the Frog Lady that he was making a joke.

And that’s my headcanon about how Din thinks he’s a Funny guy while everyone else has no idea.

I won’t lie to you, I actually found episode 6 really boring, 7 was less boring and 8 was maybe a little bit funny and I lowkey enjoyed it so much.
