The "Stealth N7 Hoodie" in the BioWare looks so gross. Literally making me nauseous to look at it. 🤢

anxiously awaiting the day that the bioware store can ship to me 😭
Saw the Grey Warden Bag, wanted it for my birthday, bought it back in June.
waited for like four weeks for my order only to be told they can't ship it because of "non-EU" tax issues and that they're refunding it
Hopefully it resolves soon so I can buy it again but I'm not super hopeful 😭😭
#bioware store#mass effect#mass effect legendary edition#dragon age#bioware#It's probably not a big deal but I just wanted Dragon Age merch for my birthday :<

Sometimes I want to bring Morrigan but then I remember I play as a face-tanking rogue and I bring Wynne. Warden Cousland, Morrigan, Wynne / Dragon Age Origins (c) Bioware
#dragon age#dragon age fan art#comic#morrigan#warden cousland#healer#bioware#dao#dragon age origins#hero of ferelden#cousland#wynne#I'm back. I guess.#I did not notice at first but apparently I took a break from tumblr. I've already had several breakdowns over the dashboard.#(turns out I was on the 'for you' tab rather than the 'following' tab. the theme had changed as well. absolutely insufferable.)#I've felt really unconnected for a while but it actually feels better now? as if my tumblr mutuals was the missing link.#very healthy and hot of me ngl#so. I had a two week holiday this year and they were instantly slurped up. it went so fast!#there was this big football thing the week before my holiday - basically teams of teens come from all around the world to play etc.#I heard a girl tell her teammates that 'I'd love to travel on this bus every morning; happy people all around you; just add some music...'#she was also very excited when the bridge opened. the 'happy people' around her sighed bitterly and leaned back for a ten minute wait.#it is thankfully over now. the bus home is no longer stuffed full of football teams. but it's a fun experience for the players etc etc etc#well. in other thrilling news I went to spy on our sister shops during my time off. to see what they do differently. maybe steal some ideas#one store was like an instagram post with fancy teacups and stylish outfits. who knew a second-hand store could be so boring.#the other was like a man-cave with furniture and a passively-aggressive note by the toys stating that 'if u break it u pay. idiot. tnx<3'.#the man-cave was my favourite :)#rant over now! take care and bye etc!

You know I do think you're onto something about the 'real fans' things because there is this weird belief that big artists or big streamers or whatever are somehow seen as 1) some sort of source of canon that noone else could possibly be privy too (which is strangely why their fanons get oddly taken as canon and 2) that noone who creates or is even involved in fan communities or fanbases somehow has less valid opinions because they aren't aware of the memes or 'not contributing'. Number of followers doesn't equate to importance of opinion so I respect you saying that everyone has just as much skin in the game and their opinions and experiences of the game have just as much worth as anyone elses
I have seen posts like that
'You guys abandoned DA for years, you weren't making any content, you weren't having any discussions, you don't really care', etc etc
I'm a little shocked to see how many people agree with that sentiment since it's just 'ew casuals' in a different hat; if someone's engagement w/ DA begins and ends with thinking the Wardens look cool (true!) then moving on thats still a plus one for the books
To your first point: making content as a larger account really just dooms you to being perceived as a taste-maker and expert regardless 😭 speaking from experience I wish we didn't do that
Fanon and theories are meant to be loose wiggly & open-ended; I don't think the point is to arrive at a single agreed-upon conclusion, and it gets dicey when you start selecting fans as authority figures —especially against their will
#grateful & admiring of those who balance that tightrope because its very ?? i dont even know how to describe it#unless more clout would ensure a halla plushie stocked in the bioware gear store Im good with my puddle of mud and sticks#< my ethos#replies#aint no 'welcome home cheater' when it comes to video games lol I'm in bed with Professor Layton as we speak#lighting up a cigarette bedsheets rumpled lampshade askew oh its serious#love DA as much as you want but dont lock in so hard you feel like youre failing everyone ykwim

I’m really curious to find out who the third big bad is in Veilguard. We’ve had only two confirmed villains so far and it always was kinda odd for me bc big bads generally come in 3’s. And there’s three acts of the game, so one act to defeat each enemy? So who’s actually the final boss of Veilguard? I don’t think BW games usually give away who their final villain is before the game drops. Could it be a third elvhen god??? Meredith coming back from the dead? Corypheus 3.0? 😭
#i wish i was a theory girlie but my brain does not have the capacity to store that amount of information#dragon age#dragon age the veilguard#bioware#da: the veilguard

marjolaine's codex in leliana's song denotes she carries absolutely nothing sentimental with her, so very likely was not receptive to giving or receiving gifts (and...also likely wouldn't of been kind to attempts) and with leliana not being well liked within the lothering chantry among her peers, it's very, very possible that any gifts she's given from the warden are the first she's received in a very long time
#i'm somehow using this post's energy to get bioware to finally release the leliana romance gift bundle in their store#but also i'm just having feelings per usual#leliana#dragon age#leliwarden#but also could be just friends too

Overview
About
From the storytellers at BioWare comes Dragon Age: The Veilguard, an all new single-player fantasy RPG experience. This bold, heroic adventure is built to deliver on what the series is best known for: rich storytelling, fantasy worldbuilding, companions & fellowship, and a world where you matter. In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you’ll embark on a quest to face powerful Elven gods and stop the destruction they’re unleashing on the world. You are known as Rook, battling on the front lines alongside a compelling cast of companions with individual storylines and motivations. In true Dragon Age fashion, companions are central to the experience and as Rook, you must rise up, rally your crew and forge relationships to become the unexpected leader others believe in.
Story
Solas, the Dread Wolf and Elven Trickster god of legend, wants to tear down the Veil that separates Thedas from the world of demons, restoring his people’s immortality and glory—even at the cost of countless lives. But his ritual goes awry, and his worst fears are realized, as two of his most ancient and powerful adversaries are released. They seek only to finish what they started millennia ago – the complete and utter domination of our world. Rook’s journey to stop these two powerful deities will span across all of Thedas to bustling cities, lush tropics, boreal forests, fettered swamps and the deepest depths, but be wary of the evil forces along the way like the Dark Spawn, Venatori Cultists and Demons of the Fade.
Key Features
Fellowship – Dragon Age: The Veilguard‘s brand new companions come alive with some of the most compelling individual storylines in Dragon Age history. Expansive and dynamic stories navigate love, loss and complex choices that will affect your relationships and the fate of each member of the Veilguard. New companions like the Veil Jumper Bellara, the necromancer Emmrich, and the private detective Neve, come from iconic factions in Dragon Age lore, possessing individual skill trees and specialized gear for advanced team progression. You’ll see familiar faces, too, such as the archer Lace Harding who returns to the series as a full time companion.
Choice and Consequences – Dragon Age: The Veilguard builds on the series’ deep role-playing roots, providing extraordinary storytelling and worldbuilding, deep personalities for each companion, meaningful choices and impactful cinematic moments. The bonds you create and the relationships you forge will be affected by your choices made throughout your journey.
A Crafted Experience – As a character-driven RPG, Dragon Age: The Veilguard delivers a crafted experience that pays homage to BioWare’s history of storytelling. The Lighthouse provides a central place where you can rest, learn more about the world through conversations, while the Crossroads allows you to traverse to separate explorable regions of the world with your companions. You’ll experience more of Thedas than ever before as your story unfolds across meticulously crafted biomes and beautiful regions including Rivain, Weisshaupt, Arlathan, Minrathous, the Deep Roads and more, each inviting you to delve deeper into the narrative and uncover the mysteries of the land.
Fluid, Customizable Combat – Immersive combat blends fluid moment-to-moment controls with tactical decision-making. Players can fully customize their experience to fit their playstyle with diverse skill trees among three different classes—Warrior, Mage, and Rogue—each with unique abilities and specializations. Choose two companions to join you on your quests and unleash powerful team combos that can change the tide of any battle. Make strategic choices and direct your allies to fight, heal or stay out of the fray with the newly-added ability wheel.
Be the Leader You Want to Be – Dragon Age: The Veilguard features a robust character creation system that allows you to be the leader you want to be with a vast range of customization. BioWare has created the most comprehensive character creator in Dragon Age yet to make this story truly your own

Not to be that guy, but why does every single youtuber that's trashing Dragon Age: The Veilguard and calling it a flop...look exactly like you would expect?
#i swear to god these people have a weird vendeta against this game#bg3 pre-event literally showed asterion taking haldin's wild shape bear c**k live on screen and yet these dudebros sing praise for bg3#but when it comes to dragon age they're trying super hard to swap public opinion and make the game flop#i guess giving rook the option to have top scars was crossing a line despite the fact that da has been woke as fuck since origins#like the game is the second most preordered game on steam right now and first on the xbox and playstaion stores#im sorry to say but bioware is gonna make money on this game weather you like it or not
