Binns Motor Inn in Wildwood, New Jersey

Built in 1940 as a luxury beach hotel, now it rents rooms for $29 a night. Binns and it’s sister motel Bonito are currently for sale for almost 6 million.

Vibes, whose development we’ve been watching, took the streamline moderne Binns Motor Inn, the oldest motel still standing in Wildwood, and the Doo Wop Bonito Motel, and gave them a facelift for 1968. Restoring Binns' Awning

The Binns Motor Inn pre-dates the Age of Doo Wop. Before the Age of Doo Wop, the Binns Sisters had an awning above the entrance to the entrance. Here’s a photograph of it, under the name HOTEL BINNS: The original awning has been removed, but in the Age of Doo Wop, it’s being restored to resemble its classic look.
