I don't think that @rosenkranz-does-things normally draws Rick and Morty art, but when their commissions page appeared in my feed, I loved the traditional drawings and sketchy, expressive style. Traditional commissions seem to be a little uncommon on Tumblr? I enjoy digital art, but pencil art is so rawly emotional like drawings from an old master's sketchbook.

This page reminds me of Bill Watterson's realism sketches. Dark, quiet and solemn: this artist might not be familiar with X-216, but they nailed his personality. Life is exhausting, and his grandson is the only reason why he's still here.
