Ever since you heard the first track from ,,Dirt'', ,,Them Bones'', it wouldn't leave your mind. From just humming to outright singing, from just nodding to outright dancing through your flat, playing it over and over again, but stopping soon enough, so the vinyl doesn't end up scratchy. So it was only logical for you to join your friends on tour as soon as they asked. And maybe also because you were able to spend more time with Sean.

It happened a few months ago when you decided to drop by at the studio the boys were recording at, bringing some baked goods you've spent the afternoon on. You caught yourself in a conversation with Sean, talking about the ,,Sid and Nancy'' film, how it's playing in theaters and such...

Like the gentleman Sean was, he held the door open, took your jacket off of you and so on, The whole time through, you always noticed how red his cheeks were. Obviously with it being evening it gets a little bit cooler, but not too cool that you'd get red cheeks; But you weren't any better: Tripping every second word and being clumsy, yet not knowing, that Sean found it adorable, finding traits of himself in your actions.

Walking up to a little bench that overlooked the city, neither of you talked much, just quietly ate, sometimes catching glances and giggling, before at some point, Sean burst into laughter, that you quickly accompanied him to, choking, and even laughing more at that.

,,Oh fuck...Fuck, I needed that...''

,,Same...''

,,Y/N, can I ask you something?''

,,Yeah, shoot.''

Sean leaned closer, an arm around your shoulders, one hand holding yours. He was so close, it probably made your hear skip all the beats. You felt breathless, but in a good way. And Sean? He just watched you, waiting for you, to fully get your attention.

,,For these past few months, even before the tour, I started to like you quite a lot more, you know? You're nice, you're sweet, and if I continue, I'd defnitely talk your ear off with how great you are.''

It wasn't rushed, and there was enough chance for either of you to pull away before and during, but that was the last of your thoughts. Sean pulled you even closer, basically pulling you into his lap, but random rustling from a far stopped it.

,,Shall we head back?''

,,Yeah...Don't know if there's suddenly a sloth walking out.''

Sean just raised an eyebrow, before chasing you down the mountain, scooping you up at the end and giving you a piggy back ride back to the hotel.

He was so speechless, but his actions basically spoke for him: Sean turned so red, he could've matched with the sweater he was wearing.

It didn't even need words, just the soft touching of your lips was enough. Hands tightly holding onto your hips, leading you onto his lap again, fully now. He felt daring, and as you adjusted yourself, went for a few neck kisses, and you swore it must be his hidden talent. Your body was tingling just as much as his, shotting through every nook and cranny as the ksses deepened. And then there was the door.

It felt comical: Your situation was just perfect, and then Mike walked in, grinning a little, before grabbing whatever he needed, saying ,,Don't forget to use protection!'' and then walked back out. It were mere seconds, but still confusing ones.

Wildly gesturing to himself, Sean set his point, making you laugh in response. It was true: His chest and face were full of beads of sweats, hickeys, too, his hair just as drenched, compared to you, who looked as dry as the Sahara. But you just enjoyed the closeness, the skin-to-skin contact, with his arms pulling you against his side, your legs entangled, as he put a featherlight kiss on your lips.

Trivia:

○ The guys had previously recorded other versions of several of these songs, one together, and the rest with different performers.

"Bad Guy" was included in VoicePlay's "Billie Eilish in 3 Minutes" medley that was part of their spooky season offerings for the year.

It was also covered by PattyCake's incarnation of Maleficent to coincide with the release of Disney's live-action film sequel.

J.None had filmed multiple edutainment parodies with his friend Nikita for her JamSchooled series that were released both before and after this one. "7 Rings" became a lesson about money; "Old Town Road" turned into a tutorial on skeletal anatomy; and "Señorita" morphed into a rundown of ecosystems.

○ Lizzo's video for "Good As Hell" celebrates her history as a flute player in the school marching band. The members of VoicePlay are talented insturmentalists in their own rights.

Layne has been playing violin since he was four years old, primarily studying the Suzuki method, and was a member of the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra. He also learned a bit of piano from his mom, and knows enough drum kit technique to convincingly mime while he beatboxes.

Geoff has played piano since middle school, studying both classical and jazz techniques. He also knows a little guitar, and learned to play the harmonica for a stint in the Blues Brothers show at Universal Studios.

Earl played trumpet and french horn through middle school and high school band.

Eli plays a bit of both piano and guitar, some of which he honed during his days in various rock bands.

J.None plays a number of instruments "passably" but doesn't consider himself proficient in any of them. They include piano, violin, guitar, accordion, saxophone, and clarinet.

○ The main melody of "Memories" contains a very recognizable portion of Pachelbel's "Canon in D", which (surprisingly) hasn't yet been included in any of VoicePlay's classical pieces or mashups.
