Someone asking Amayian to try on the avvar gear?

Oddly enough, this is one of the few times Amayian actually appears to be excited, or at least you can see it in his eyes and the faintest rise at the corner of his lips, whispering of a smile. He doesn't even think at all of the desiring effects that he may have on others, with his chest bare, covered in a sleeveless jacket trimmed with thick gray furs from a great bear. Amayian adores recollecting his time with the numerous Avvar tribes when he was younger, telling his partner of how each stroke of the paint murmurs a hidden store and the like.

If he accidentally gets some paint on the person he asks, either by accidentally touching them at the arm with hands lathered in it, or the like, he does get a touch breathless, a thread of darkness darkening his eyes, before he gets a touch red and goes back to getting the clothes on.

Had some sad thoughts about Solas and Tash's relationship. From Haven all the way to Skyhold, Tash adores Solas. He's interested in Dalish lore and their gods, in spirits and magic and ancient Arlathan, almost to the point of annoyance for Solas ("Please, da'len, let us discuss something else!"), but Solas can't help but smile indulgently at the look of wonder on Tash's face. It helps that Tash is a Dreamer, that Solas is the only other one he has met. They share this special bond that only those who understand Dreaming can share. They visit deep places in the Fade in shared dreams, catch glimpses of Arlathan. Tash loves learning from someone he believes understands him and his magic in a way no one else does. And then comes the conversation on the balcony. Solas smiles as he asks Tash if the Anchor is responsible for his intelligence, his wisdom and kindness. Muses that he is unlike the mindless beasts he knows the Qunari to be. It affects Tash deeply. Notwithstanding the fact that Tash hates being called Qunari, for he is not one of them. But that his teacher, that someone he considers family, is just like everyone else who saw fit to call him an ox, or a beast, or a demon child because of his horns. That Solas could ever have seen him as less than a person, that he thinks of everyone like him as less, hurts more than he can say. Tash gets through the conversation, barely holding his heart together before he gives a silent wail of sadness and cries himself to sleep. He hides himself in the Fade, avoiding Solas. Solas doesn't notice until weeks have passed that things have changed. That Tash only gives the most perfunctory of nods in passing. That no longer does a large child with wide eyes come to ask for stories about how Fen'harel and Mythal tricked Elgar'nan or for insights into spells. That he no longer asks Solas' opinion except when necessary. That they no longer meet in the Fade to run as wolves through dreams of the past. That the very sight of his horned silhouette, appearing over and over in the frescoes on the Rotunda, seems to cause him pain. "Sad and sorrowing, sighs sounding through dreams with Solas." Cole says one day, almost accusingly. "Trust, tainted with time." And even in the Elven Ruins, meeting before the great eluvian, when Tash beats him to the punch in realizing he is Fen'harel. "You are far more observant than I give you credit for, da'len." "Don't act like you give me credit at all. I used to think that you just had a low opinion of people with horns. But it's everyone, isn't it? None of us were ever people to you, were we?" And Solas has no answer for the sad eyes of the young Inquisitor. "You have already suffered enough at my hands, da'len. I do not wish to cause you more pain than is necessary." "You already have."

An assumption: Amayian has really tiny precise handwriting and Alexandra has awful penmanship

The first assumption is absolutely correct. Amayian tends to be more precise in his handwriting, which is helpful since Amayain's own reports tend to be focused on clarity that Leliana teases him about his lack of embellishment. But with Alexandra...well, it depends on how you classify awful penmanship. For her time-period, I'm sure it would have been considered flowing and clear, but I also imagine in the later ages, her writing is hard to really understand. Her penmenship (because of my Hamilton phase, lol), is heavily align with Hamilton's own.

Something like this, which while not the worse to read, you'll have to really get close to the document to really understand what she's writing.
