Also, since we don't know what she looks like without her clothes, I just kinda improvised the markings lmao she looked too boring without anything on her arms and legs

Various pieces of information from the Rise Q&A back in February

It was revealed that there are other Hidden Cities other than the one seen in Rise & there had been plans for the Turtles to visit the Hidden City beneath Tokyo.

2. Splinter was able to use Leo's mystic odachi so easily due to the fact that Splinter had spent a lot of time in the Hidden City & because of this Splinter has a great deal of mystic knowledge, with Splinter also having developed his mystic abilities but he has stopped using those abilities until the events of the series.

3. More information was given about the missing Turtle Siblings & it was stated the Frida, Big Mama's Assistant would have most likely joined her brothers during the future timeline, it was also stated that the other missing Turtle Sibling would have possibly been named Camille after Camille Claudel.

4. When asked on how a Dungeons & Dragons episode would go it was stated that April would be the DM, Raph would be a fighter class, Mikey would be an illusionist, Leo would be an assassin or thief & Donnie would insist on being a scientist since he's sure that there was 'at least one sensible person back then'.

5. The Rise version of Renet could have possibly been used to explore different timelines that might have happened if certain events in the movie had happened differently.

6. After the events of the movie Casey is traveling around the world fighting remnants of the Krang & the Foot Clan.

7. When asked about the Turtle's relationship with Draxum it was stated that in contrast to Mikey who accepted Draxum the most easily, Leo is the most skeptical however it was also stated that Leo would have eventually 'gotten over' his grudge towards Draxum as there were multiple scrapped episodes planned where Leo & Draxum would have been forced to work together.

8. There were plans for the Turtles to eventually go to the Krang's original dimension meaning that it would have been likely for the Turtles to encounter the traditional dimension X/Z stuff such as the Neutrinos.

9. When asked about Casey Junior's relationship with the past/ present version of Leo it was stated that despite it being slightly different due to them being around the same age now Casey Junior can't help but still view Leo as a father figure.

10. It was stated that Splinter has never celebrated the Turtle's Birthdays in the past due to it being to closely related to his negative feelings towards his own mutation however it was also stated that after Splinter's development in the series he would start celebrating the Turtle's Birthday with them.

11. The reason that the Future Version of Leonardo was the one who raised Casey Junior was stated that it was due to the fact that the Future Version of Leonardo had a special affinity for Casey Junior & also felt particularly responsible for Casey Junior after his mother was gone.

12. When asked what the Rise version of Miyamoto Usagi would have been like it was revealed that a possible plan for Usagi was that his home dimension would have been overrun by the Krang causing Usagi to travel to the Turtles dimension for help due to them being the only ones who have ever defeated the Krang.

13. When discussing crossovers between TMNT iterations it was stated that a crossover between Rise & the 1987 cartoon or the 2003 cartoon would have been a possibility due to them also being 2D animated series.

14. April & Sunita were planned to have more 'girls night' episodes together.

It was also stated that Casey would have possibly have developed a dynamic with both April & Sunita so there is also a possibility that Casey would have been included in the 'girls night' episodes with April & Sunita as well.

A little backstory tidbit for my Grown Apart AU:

Contrary to their current relationship, there was a time when Donnie saw Big Mama's Assistant as a friend.

He spent a good deal of time talking to them, as they were the only person who seemed genuinely interested in listening to his thoughts and ideas (before April or Shelldon came along). Their quietness, which earned them a "spooky" reputation with most of the hotel staff, never bothered Donnie - he gravitated towards them for that very reason.

Since they never spoke, Donnie started teaching himself sign language to make communicating a little easier. They still didn't say a lot, but he'd get the occasional one-or-two-word response from time-to-time, which was enough to know they were listening.

Some ROTTMNT facts you may have not known

There was a canceled episode where Leo, Donnie, and Raph accidentally become babies and Mikey is the big brother (not much more info)

In another canceled episode, Wedding Smashers, you can actually see Uganda Knuckles. Although, that was probably just a place holder being that we only got the animatic.

More about Wedding Smashers, Mikey got a new persona called "Dr. Rude", Raph to now called "Shadybug" undercover, and Ghost Bear getting married to Ghost Pepper. Although, this episode was scrapped almost at the end of development.

Concept art shows how many changes the turtles went through during development:

As you can probably see, Raph originally didn't have a tonfā or sai.

In Clothes Don't Make the Turtle, if you look hard enough you can find many references to other media:

Ah, I just love the Sonic Movies and how Ben Schwartz voices both Leo and Sonic (can't forget uhh, was it Hewey or Dewey?). Wait...

Oh no, Leo's letting out his inner Sonic-

In terms of canon heights, apparently Leo is taller than Donnie. Have I been thinking he's taller the entire time because of his goggles?

There is a total of 80+ Jupiter Jim movies in the show. (What i pray how many movies the cinematic Sonic universe gets)

If the finale of season 2 feels rushed, that's because it is. Producers, animators, etc. had a span of 1 week to finish the four finale episodes.

Season 3 was cancelled due to low income money from their toy line, meaning they cancelled the show completely until the movie, which would supposably be the death of ROTTMNT until officials bring it back (pls do).

More about the third season, we was actually going to get what appears to be the continuation of the final comic, Farewell. Where (SPOILERS!) Splinter dies but he tells his children they have two lost siblings (Ah, I love how I made OCS like Venus and Yanagi-), one of them being Big Mama's Assistant, and the other being currently unknownst to the public if we even got a cameo.

BUT, lucky us we got a panel where we can see BMA's face reveal:

Just assuming, she's probably going to be Jennika unless I'm mistaken. Idk, I'm just judging by the yellow.

She also looks like she could be maybe a painted turtle, or a yellow bellied turtle/slider (oh no I'm thinking about White Castle again...)

Day 12: Big Mama's Assistant

For day 12 of Rise August: Cissy, from @kiaxet's Siblingquest 202X! I've been wanting to draw her for a while now, and today's prompt seemed like the perfect opportunity!

Okay regarding mystery sister's turtle species!

I got a ton of comments regarding what type of turtle she could be on that last post I made, and I wanted to bring up some of the more likely options! (Also, I'm gonna call the sister Frida cuz that's probably her name)

One of the most popular guesses is that Frida is a yellow bellied slider, cuz, y'know, yellow. Also it'd be fun to have two sliders in the family maybe lmao

Another popular theory is that she's a box turtle like Mikey (they do look a pretty similar honestly) in which case specifically the eastern box turtle or the florida box turtle could be the more likely options

Bog turtle! The markings on the face remind me a lot of Frida's markings so I think this one makes a lot of sense, personally

And lastly we have the spotted turtle, more yellow markings which would fit Frida's deisgn.

Honestly I'm having a hard time deciding on which species I wanna headcanon her as until when (or if) we get a confirmation, I'm kinda vibing with all of these lol.

Actually, I MIGHT be a bit more partial towards bog turtle or some type of box turtle, but I'm flexible

Various pages of scripts from scrapped Rise episodes have recently been shown giving a few pieces of new information about the Rise characters, various pieces of information about season 3 were also revealed as well.

According to a page from the script of the scrapped episode 'Toddler Mutant Ninja Turtles', Donnie was the one who gave Leo his driving test.

2. The script for the 'Toddler Mutant Ninja Turtles' also shows that Donnie sometimes calls Mikey "tadpole" when referring to how Mikey is the youngest of the Turtles.

3. It is revealed in the script for the scrapped episode 'T-Hex' that Splinter has gotten Mikey multiple electronic pets over the years however Mikey seems to have always quickly grown board of them leaving Splinter to be the one to take care of them.

4. In the script for the scrapped episode 'Dog Dale Afternoon' Donnie reveals that he goes to April's High School & that he enrolled himself in the medical magnet program, according to Donnie the class is "learning a lot from him".

5. When asked about the dynamics between Big Mama's Assistant, Frida & the Turtles it was stated that Big Mama's Assistant might have been similar to Karai from the 2012 cartoon.

6. Kendra would have appeared in season 3 & continued as an ongoing rival for Donnie.

7. When asked about episodes focusing on villains it was stated that Big Mama would have been given more focus.

With Big Mama having been planned to have more focus in season 3 it is also possible that Big Mama could have possibly been on the the seasons primary antagonists for the Turtles.
