Lmfao @ the idea that it's possible to raise children religiously in a healthy way
#maybe i was raised too atheist but like if you dont think that all religions are a tool for societal control and preach rotten messages#that support racial and sex hierarchies in order to prevent the masses from protesting cruelty against out groups#then like what do you even think religion is? a collection of different approaches to contacting god?? lol#sorry but i dont see it that way i dont believe any religion offers a spiritual pathway to connecting with god#if god is real then the spiritual connection to them must be innate and cannot be refined by engaging in groupthink#and thats only IF god is real! you wanna allow a ton of racist and sexist propaganda to be taught to kids on the offchance#that it Might teach them how to connect to god better? all of that is worth it to you?#also idk about other religions but you absolutely CANNOT healthily teach a child that if they do wrong they will burn in hell#sorry but that is inherently traumatizing its abusive and the idea that nonbelievers shall suffer eternally desensitizes children#to suffering and isolates them from non christians. so if you teach christianity accurately to children#then you are traumatizing them and also teaching them that endless suffering is divine justice#and if you decline to teach your children about hell then you might as well admit that you dont need the bible to connect to god#and throw the whole damn thing out and raise them nondenominational#and even if you do that they will still eventually learn about hell and it will forever change their opinion on human suffering#at least that's my experience with nondenominational christians lol

The preaching of the gospel, the good news, God's word is the only antidote that God has prescribed regarding this world. He gave his Son. The Son gave his life. By way of our belief in the gospel of Christ, he save and deliver us from this present evil world.
The Son did not come starting programs, beginning a political party, or any other thing. He came preaching and teaching the kingdom. He came preaching and teaching the time to come. He came preaching hope, belief, and faith in God; that if we believe and receive the kingdom of God, we will be there in that world to come. (He's going to destroy this one.)
The gospel is for the purpose of calling people out of this world. The gospel, good news, or God's word is for the purpose of stopping the the works of Satan. The preaching of the Word of God torments devils. The preaching of the Word has become my hope.
However, despite the supremacy of God's word, in this age of the Church, the word of God is not going to appeal to the Church. 📜 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; [4] and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. - II Timothy 4:3-4 It is therefore going to take for us to INDIVIDUALLY respond to God. In this age of the Church, it will not be a corporate turning unto God to take heed to, believe in, and for the hearing of God's word. 📜‭‭Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. - Revelation 3:20
📖 ‭‭Then they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught. [22] And they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. [23] Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, [24] saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!” [25] But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” [26] And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him. - Mark 1:21-26
📖 ‭‭You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. - I John 4:4
📖 ‭‭He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. - I John 3:8
📖 ‭‭To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. [22] “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’ ” - Revelation 3:21-22
📖 ‭‭Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. - Revelation 21:1

The Resilient Tree: Lessons from Jeremiah 17
Good morning 😇 Verse of the Day #josephmekaelpageministries
Jeremiah 17:7-8 7 But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. 8 They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

A Biblical Philosophy of Ministry
Mark Dever in his book, Nine Marks of a Healthy Church, lists nine principles that are essential to the life of every healthy congregation. These marks present a good framework for examining the biblical principles that the church must possess today. Each of these is foundational and not one should be lacking in a biblical church. I will use this as my outline and draw on different scriptures and…

The Spiritual Gift of Teaching
The New Testament references the gift of teaching in several passages (Rom 12:6-8; 1 Cor 12:28; Eph 4:11). This gift involves the ability to clearly explain and communicate biblical truths so that others can understand and apply them. A teacher, in the biblical sense, is responsible for instructing others in the doctrines of the faith, helping believers grow in their knowledge of God and in their…

Be a Tentmaker
There are several aspects to this ideology of “being a tentmaker.” One of which is to be, and the primary idea behind this, as mentioned by the Apostle Paul: And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I…

“Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. [29] Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the Lord, [30] They would have none of my counsel And despised my every rebuke." - Proverbs 1:28-30
One cannot be cool and walk with God. Or to say it more precisely, ONE MUST LEAVE THE IN-CROWD TO WALK WITH GOD. When walking with God, HE shall cause one to live a life or walk a way that is not popular -- despised -- frowned upon. The life isn't meant to glorify nor appease the flesh but is a life to glorify God and bring us closer to him, and God is Spirit.
When walking with God, it is a matter of "taking up one's cross." It is to DAILY choose to denounce self, to say spiritually Not MY way but YOURS," or to further say it differently, it is DAILY act of choosing to Believe God, have Faith, and live what HE has called us unto. THAT'S what is crucifying. Simply living what God has revealed as his will for us is crucifying.
But one who does so, does so because GOD has opened their eyes where they no longer have no intent or desire to walk in darkness. They are grateful! and thankful 👏👏🙌👏👏 for the rich blessings of the grace, mercy, and blessings that they have in this life and in the world to come. 🙏 ☝️
📖‭ Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” - John 3:3
📖 ‭“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. [9] “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. - Isaiah 55:8-9
📖 ‭For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, [12] teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, - Titus 2:11-12
📖 ‭"Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. [2] Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. [3] And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure." - I John 3:1-3
📖 ‭The Lord has made all for Himself, Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom. - Proverbs 16:4

FATHER CHARLIE MAYHEW sits back in a wooden chair, dark eyes following you closely, but not with the sanctity expected from a priest. he’s holding a bible in his hand, fingers idly brushing the worn edges, but the words that come out of his mouth have strayed far from the expected teachings.
“celibacy,” he declares, “is a widely misunderstood concept. it’s not about abstaining, but about control. mastery of the flesh, not rejection of it.”
you’re sitting across from him, hands folded neatly in your lap as you tried to maintain a composed front. you don’t bother to mask the skepticism in your tone. “is that what you tell yourself to sleep at night, father? that indulging a little bit isn’t breaking your vows?”
the soft mockery didn’t deter him. if anything, it fueled him. his expression does not falter; in fact, he smiles wider. “ah, but sister. did christ not spend forty days in the wilderness, surrounded by temptation, and come out stronger? his words are laced with arrogance, each one delivered as if it were irrefutable truth. the towel around his waist slips just a little, revealing more skin, but he makes no effort to adjust it. his gaze never leaves yours, and the audacity of it all strikes you.
“is it not written that to know sin, one must overcome it?
under current circumstances, charlie mayhew is a man of contradictions—utterly confident despite his obviously flawed reasoning. it’s impossible to tell if he truly believed what he was saying or if he simply liked bending the truth for his own purposes.
“so what you’re telling me,” your voice carried a soft lilt, lips curling as you meet his gaze, “is that celibacy is… negotiable now? sounds a bit hypocritical, don’t you think?”
slowly, you rise to your feet, deliberately turning away before bending down. the slit in your black habit parts slightly, revealing fishnet stockings, the round curve of your ass visible through the thin fabric.
“indulgence is sin when it lacks discipline,” he replies without skipping a beat, but there’s a new, raspy quality in his voice now.
“but when it’s controlled—when you allow yourself to feel something and rise above it—that’s where true strength lies. that’s power. that’s faith.” he’s idly stroking himself, slow pumps of his hand around the throbbing length. taking your own sweet time, you made a show of adjusting the strap on your high heels and allowing him to see the red lacy thong underneath as the slit falls open a bit more.
“besides,” he continues, “what’s the harm in understanding sin—up close? is it not our duty to learn the limits of our restraint, to test our strength?”
not answering, you simply sashay toward the priest, heels clicking softly against the floor, until you stop directly in front of him. his eyes follow your every movement as you free yourself of your garments, though the smirk on his lips never falters. you reach down and tilt his chin up with one finger,
“for someone who preaches so much about temptation,” you purr, “you sure don’t seem eager to resist it.”
he raises a brow, but before he can respond, you swing a leg over his lap, straddling him with deliberate slowness. your hand slides down his chest, fingertips brushing against smooth skin. his breath catches as one of your hands grazes over his toned abs, while the other squeezes his face with a teasing pressure.
“tell me, father.”
leaning in, you press your lips to his. when he doesn’t pull away, you deepen the kiss, gently pulling his lower lip between your teeth. his breath shudders as you release him, eyes scorching with lust.
“is this what you had in mind when you swore to be devout?”
a stretched groan escapes his lips when you guided the tip of his shaft between your slick folds. carefully, you sink down onto him, relishing in the tight, hot stretch—inch by glorious inch. your eyelids momentarily flutter shut as you were fully impaled on his cock, and just when you thought he’s about to kiss you again, charlie dips his head down. you gasped when you feel his tongue tracing slow circles around the areola before finally wrapping his lips around your nipple.
“ooh,” you manage to breathe out, and you immediately feel him smile against your breast. charlie starts to thrust up into you, his girth stretching you out to the extent that you can practically feel every ridge and bump of the veins that scattered along his length dragging against your walls. ripples of pleasure course through your body, the cross pendant you wore around your neck bouncing between your breasts with the motion.
the small room is soon filled with the slapping sounds of skin on skin, coupled with the wet suction of your pussy swallowing his cock, occasionally punctuated by your whimpers and his moans.
it doesn’t take long for the hot coil inside of you to snap. a powerful orgasm tears through your body, inner walls convulsing around him. within seconds, his seed is spurting into your womb, triggering aftershocks that left you trembling like a leaf in high wind.
charlie’s head falls back to rest against the wall behind him, as his cock continued to twitch deep inside you, residual spasms in sync with the weak fluttering of your pussy around him. your body is still tingling, a pleasant, dizzy warmth spreading through you.
“jesus…” you mumble, the words slipping out before you can stop them. he chuckles dryly, the sound rumbling through his chest as his hand lazily trails up your back.
“no, sister.” he murmurs, toying with a strand of your hair, gently tugging.
“it’s ‘father charlie’ to you.”
