5. He merged with Harding or Rook or Solas, Flemythal style

6. He's at the lighthouse, wounded/recovering and the article doesn't mention him because they're trying to make us think he's dead

7. He bounced while Rook was out and went to get Bianca so she could make Bianca 2.0

Anyone else have ideas? I feel like #5 is... ridiculous let's be real that would be, so messy to write that would not happen😂

Space Afrika – Honest Labour (DAIS)

In the modern city we are often more observed than observing, passively surrendering anonymity to CCTV even as we share our secrets and solipsism on social media. Manchester duo Joshua Inyang and Joshua Reid (who is currently quartered in Berlin) play with these tensions and dichotomies on their latest album Honest Labour. Post dubstep ambience that evokes ambivalent, alienated journeys through streets empty but pregnant with possibility and threat are interspersed with vocal cuts that speak of the search for love, connection and reckoning. Burial is an obvious touchstone here and although Space Afrika employs a wider sonic palette, they suffuse Honest Labour with the radical empathy that characterizes tracks like “Come Down To Us.”

We begin in twilight, the echo of passing voices, an electric crackling in the air on almost deserted streets that sets the ambience for the record. On “LV,” cello, guitar and violin emphasize the burden of solitude and longing. “Like Orchids” and “Meet Me At Sachas” follow overheard conversations against police sirens wailing by and growing rambunctiousness indoors — is this the joy of meeting up or is shit about to go down? The vocal tracks are more direct. Manchester choreographer and MC Blackhaine produces a vitriolic anthem to Lost Britain on “B£E” which begins as classic grime but ascends with layered strings that subvert the patriots’ hijack of Elgar.

On “U,” rap collagist kinseylloyd riffs on the image of “99 Red Balloons” over a woozy, spacious beat. “The colors/the balloons/the fluid from my heart/an arrow heading for it/pre-destined to puncture/suspended now in animation/for what could have/did not.” On “Girl Scout Cookie” avant chanteuse bianca scout’s multi-tracked vocals sigh over pizzicato strings only to be interrupted by a bickering couple after which a thick jazz double bass fills out the bottom end. “Honest Labour” closes the album on a stately neo-classical note with strings and piano that speak to dignity and will.

Inyang and Reid create a nocturnal mosaic of eavesdropping. Direct conversation and keen observation give voice to the disenfranchised in isolationist Britain. An Honest Labour.

Hi anon! Hmm~ A tiny bit hard as some songs don’t quite 100% reflect them but I’ll try to answer anyway.

Alex/Aimee - REO Speedwagon - Can’t Fight This Feeling. The lyrics probably says it all about their feelings for their best friend.

Brent/Bianca - Shirley Bassey - Big Spender. B’s a little hard to find but this song reflects how stinkin’ rich they are hahahah and well, if MC ever romance them, B would pretty much spoil MC rotten with luxurious thinhs even if ironically, they’re not a fan of people using them purely for their money.

Wesley/Wendy - Edward Elgar - Salut D’Amour Op. 12. W is brought up to be a perfect gentleman/lady so they’d prefer to listen to classical music than kids normally would. It’s a romantic piece that conveys their feelings for MC.

Santiago/Selena - Freddie Mercury - The Great Pretender. S deals with playing pretend ever since they went to the Academy. Despite their popularity, S is actually pretty lonely since they chose to change everything about themselves to gain it.

Jett/Josie - Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - Shallow. I was going to pick some raunchy song but this is surprisingly perfect for J. The lyric explains much how J’s life is empty despite the fact that the partying, sex etc.

Jimmy - Greased Lightning (Grease musical). The one other thing Jimmy missed (aside from his girlfriend) was his beloved car.... that he worked on for days on end. Unfortunately it’s all gone after the crash.

Lily - Pharrell William - Happy. Lily is pretty much a happy go lucky girl. Of course this highly depends on what kind of brother/sister/sibling she has. If the MC has a good relationship with her then her happiness is real otherwise it’s a facade. Lily would try her best to be happy even if her brother/sister/sibling finds her annoying.
