It's from 2014 and I have not idea how heavily the plotline "Charles dies and leaves everything to Erik in his will" came up before in the comics, but a applaud this author (again) for this amazing work of art. Each one of these reasons is enough to increase the level of your hope in Alläh's grace and calls for thankfulness (shukr) of Allah because He preferred you with trials in order to turn to Him —for it is nothing but affluence when a person becomes in need, and then turns to Allah for His help.

JUZ 8 - LESSONS (1)

A caller to the Truth faces resistance from devils from among the humans and jinn. The stronger your emaan, the more resistance you will face. Sometimes from your parents, your spouse, your children, your siblings or someone else. It is discouraging and heartbreaking, but remember this resistance is temporary. Increase your tolerance level for the sake of a peaceful Hereafter.

- Zukhrufal Qawli - decorative speech (6:112), speech that twists reality. Sometimes people spread lies in such a beautified way that we believe them to be true. Beware!

- "And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah," (6:116). The majority is not always right. It can deceive you. Our guidance is the Qur'an and Sunnah and not personal desires or opinions.

- Don't eat the meat on which Allah's Name has not been taken, it is a condition of our emaan. We cannot just go to McDonald's (if you live in the West) because we love to eat there. Verify, if the meat fulfills the condition of being halal.

CONDITIONS FOR MEAT TO BE CONSIDERED PERMISSIBLE TO EAT:

• The animal should be permissible (such as goat, lamb, cow and camel) • Name of Allah SWT MUST be mentioned upon slaughtering the animal

The blood has to be drained out (which means it MUST be slaughtered)

We cannot eat the meat of an animal that was electrocuted or shot (for details, please read the tafseer on our blog). If you are not sure about how the animal was killed and whether or not Allah's Name was mentioned, then avoid it. Eat vegetables, fruits, lentils or beans.

Leave apparent and hidden sins

What is sin?

The Prophet (SA) said,

"...Sin is that which causes discomfort (or pinches) within your soul and dislike that people become aware of it." [Saheeh Muslim]

2. Performed by one's limbs or tongue

3. Acceptable by the people (such as smoking)

4. Done publicly

1. Done privately

2. Not acceptable by the people

3. Done by the heart

LESSON: Don't be righteous only in front of the people. Fix your private life.

- "And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you," (6:121). Don't engage in arguments. It is Satan's trick to stop us from doing righteous deeds. If people argue with you, say Salaam and move away. Don't waste your time.

A person is in the darkness, then Allah SWT opens up the door of His mercy on him and gives him the knowledge of the Qur'an. The Qur'an becomes a source of light for this person by which he conducts his day to day affairs. A person who has the knowledge of the Qur'an is an independent thinker! He doesn't blindly follow the majority, the trends or his own desires. He verifies the right and the wrong through the light of the Qur'an.

It teaches us that even if the entire society is misguided if we have "ilm" (knowledge of the Deen) then we won't be lost.

- For him whom Allah SWT wills good, He opens up his chest to the understanding of Islam. Such a person comes to Islam with joy. He feels motivated to do good deeds and they become easy for him. He doesn't criticize Deen or the commands of Allah SWT. He submits even if some commands are difficult for him. May Allah SWT make us of them, ameen.

- Such people get the House of Peace in Jannah, Dar-us-Salam. They attain the friendship of Allah SWT because of the deeds they performed and for what they endured (meaning harm from the people because of their submission to Allah SWT and incitement of the nafs).

- If we disobey Allah SWT, it's not difficult for Him to replace us with the people who are better than us. Therefore, make Du'a:

O Allah, please don't replace me with someone who is better than me in worshipping You and striving in Your path. Please make me such that it becomes easy for me to strive in Your path with excellence, ameen.

- Abortion is a sin (unless there is a risk to the mother's or baby's health)

- When Allah SWT blesses you then do shukr and share your blessings with others

Be moderate in generosity too. Do not give everything in charity that later you regret it.

- Only Allah SWT declares what is halal and what is not halal

- Sometimes a person is deprived of provision because of his disobedience or sins. Allah SWT is not unjust with His servants, we block our blessings by our sins.

- Nip the evil in the bud. Do not be too frank with a non-mahram.

- Be just no matter where you are

- "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds," (6:162). Waking up for Tahajjud, fasting voluntarily, going for Hajj or Umrah (taking selfies or updating check-ins) - the world doesn't need to know. Keep your good deeds a secret between yourself and Allah SWT, if they were really done for His sake. Don't make partners in your worship.

Our eating, our sleeping, our work...everything should be according to the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Our death should be according to the Qur'an and Sunnah meaning we die as

Muslims and all funeral rites are according to the Sunnah:

My funeral should not be delayed because we're waiting for a relative to come from abroad or another city. Bury me in the land where I die. My body doesn't need to be transported to my home country or ancestral land. I be given Ghusl by Allah-fearing person so that they conceal what they see.

Write it in your will and inform soone.

Arrogance is a Satanic trait. Don't consider yourself better than others. Check your heart.

- If Iblees's prayer can be accepted then why wouldn't our Du'as be accepted? Make Du'as for yourself. Don't lose hope.

- He who maintains a connection with Allah SWT and is grateful can be saved from the traps of Shaytan

Prophet Adam and Hawwa (AS) Du'a:

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْحَاسِرِينَ

"Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers." (7:23)

- It is from the Fitrah to cover ourselves. If our clothes do not cover us according to the Islamic guidelines then it is as if we are naked. Check your clothes (both men and women).

Allah SWT says: O children of Adam, let not Satan tempt you as he removed your parents from Paradise, stripping them of their clothing... (7:27)

- Keep yourself clean. Take shower daily. There should be no body odor or bad

breath when we stand up for prayer or go to an Islamic class.

- Eat and drink, but be not excessive (7:31)

- Call upon your Lord in humility and privately (7:55)

- If you want Allah SWT to be merciful towards to you, then be merciful with the people

- A good soul is like fertile land, it only produces good.

JUZ 8 - பாடங்கள் (1)

- அல்லாஹ்வின் பெயர் சொல்லப்படாத இறைச்சியை உண்ணாதீர்கள், இது எங்கள் எமானின் நிபந்தனை. நாங்கள் மெக்டொனால்டுக்குச் செல்ல முடியாது (நீங்கள் மேற்கு நாடுகளில் வாழ்ந்தால்) நாங்கள் அங்கு சாப்பிட விரும்புகிறோம். இறைச்சி ஹலால் என்ற நிபந்தனையை பூர்த்தி செய்தால் சரிபார்க்கவும்.

இறைச்சி சாப்பிடுவதற்கு அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட நிபந்தனைகள்:

• விலங்கு அனுமதிக்கப்பட வேண்டும் (ஆடு, ஆட்டுக்குட்டி, மாடு மற்றும் ஒட்டகம் போன்றவை)

• விலங்குகளை அறுக்கும் போது அல்லாஹ்வின் பெயர் குறிப்பிடப்பட வேண்டும்.

• இரத்தம் வெளியேற்றப்பட வேண்டும்

"... பாவம் என்பது உங்கள் ஆன்மாவிற்குள் அசௌகரியத்தை (அல்லது கிள்ளுதல்களை) ஏற்படுத்துகிறது மற்றும் மக்கள் அதை அறிய விரும்பாதது." [ஸஹீஹ் முஸ்லிம்]

2. மக்களால் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியாதது

3. இதயத்தால் செய்யப்பட்டது

பாடம்: மக்கள் முன்னிலையில் மட்டும் நேர்மையாக இருக்காதீர்கள். உங்கள் தனிப்பட்ட வாழ்க்கையை சரிசெய்யவும்.

- "நிச்சயமாக ஷைத்தான்கள் தங்கள் கூட்டாளிகளை (மனிதர்களிடையே) உங்களுடன் விவாதம் செய்ய தூண்டுகின்றன" (6:121). வாக்குவாதங்களில் ஈடுபடாதீர்கள். நற்செயல்களைச் செய்வதிலிருந்து நம்மைத் தடுப்பது சாத்தானின் தந்திரம். மக்கள் உங்களுடன் வாக்குவாதத்தில் ஈடுபட்டால் சலாம் கூறிவிட்டு விலகிச் செ��்லுங்கள். உங்கள் நேரத்தை வீணாக்காதீர்கள்.

ஒரு நபர் இருளில் இருக்கிறார், பின்னர் அல்லாஹ் SWT அவர் மீது தனது கருணையின் கதவைத் திறந்து அவருக்கு குர்ஆனைப் பற்றிய அறிவைக் கொடுக்கிறான். குர்ஆன் இந்த நபருக்கு ஒளியின் ஆதாரமாகிறது, அதன் மூலம் அவர் தனது அன்றாட விவகாரங்களை நடத்துகிறார். அல்குர்ஆன் அறிவு பெற்றவர் சுதந்திர சிந்தனையாளர்! அவர் பெரும்பான்மை, போக்குகள் அல்லது அவரது சொந்த ஆசைகளை கண்மூடித்தனமாக பின்பற்றுவதில்லை. குர்ஆன் ஒளியின் மூலம் சரி, தவறை சரிபார்த்துக் காட்டுகிறார்.

நம்மிடம் "இல்ம்" (தீனின் அறிவு) இருந்தால், ஒட்டுமொத்த சமுதாயமும் வழிகெட்டாலும், நாம் இழக்கப்பட மாட்டோம் என்பதை இது நமக்குக் கற்பிக்கிறது.

அல்லாஹ் யாரை விரும்புகிறானோ அவருக்கு, இஸ்லாத்தைப் பற்றிய புரிதலுக்கு அவன் நெஞ்சைத் திறக்கிறான். அப்படிப்பட்டவர் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் இஸ்லாத்திற்கு வருகிறார். அவர் நல்ல செயல்களைச் செய்ய உந்துதல் பெறுகிறார், மேலும் அவை அவருக்கு எளிதாகின்றன. அவர் தீனையோ அல்லது அல்லாஹ்வின் கட்டளைகளையோ விமர்சிக்கவில்லை. சில கட்டளைகள் அவருக்கு கடினமாக இருந்தாலும் சமர்பிக்கிறார். அவர்களில் அல்லாஹ் நம்மை ஆக்குவானாக, ஆமீன்.

- அத்தகையவர்கள் ஜன்னா, தாருஸ்ஸலாமில் அமைதி இல்லத்தைப் பெறுகிறார்கள். அவர்கள் செய்த செயல்கள் மற்றும் அவர்கள் தாங்கியவற்றின் காரணமாக அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் நட்பை அடைகிறார்கள் (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அடிபணிவதால் மக்களிடமிருந்து தீங்கு மற்றும் நஃப்ஸைத் தூண்டுதல்).

- கருக்கலைப்பு ஒரு பாவம் (தாய் அல்லது குழந்தையின் ஆரோக்கியத்திற்கு ஆபத்து இல்லாவிட்டால்)

- நீங்கள் எங்கிருந்தாலும் சும்மா இருங்கள்

- "உண்மையில், எனது பிரார்த்தனை, எனது தியாகம், எனது வாழ்க்கை மற்றும் எனது மரணம் அகிலங்களின் இறைவனாகிய அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே" (6:162). தஹஜ்ஜுதுக்காக எழுந்திருத்தல், தானாக முன்வந்து நோன்பு நோற்பது, ஹஜ் அல்லது உம்ராவுக்குச் செல்வது (செல்ஃபி எடுப்பது அல்லது செக்-இன்களைப் புதுப்பித்தல்) - உலகம் அறியத் தேவையில்லை. உங்கள் நற்செயல்களை உங்களுக்கும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் இடையில் ரகசியமாக வைத்திருங்கள், அவை உண்மையில் அவனுக்காக செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தால். உங்கள் வழிபாட்டில் பங்காளிகளாக ஆக்காதீர்கள்.

வெளிநாட்டிலோ அல்லது வேறு நகரத்திலோ உறவினர் வருவதற்காக நாங்கள் காத்திருப்பதால் எனது இறுதிச் சடங்குகள் தாமதிக்கப்படக்கூடாது. நான் இறக்கும் நாட்டில் என்னை அடக்கம் செய்யுங்கள். எனது உடலை சொந்த நாட்டிற்கு அல்லது பூர்வீக நிலத்திற்கு கொண்டு செல்ல வேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை. அவர்கள் பார்ப்பதை மறைப்பதற்காக அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அஞ்சுபவரால் எனக்கு குஸ்ல் கொடுக்கப்படுகிறது.

அதை உங்கள் உயிலில் எழுதி யாருக்காவது தெரிவிக்கவும்.

ஆணவம் சாத்தானின் குணம். மற்றவர்களை விட உங்களை சிறந்தவராக கருதாதீர்கள். உங்கள் இதயத்தை சரிபார்க்கவும்.

- இப்லீஸின் பிரார்த்தனை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்டால், ஏன் எங்கள் துஆக்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படாது? நீங்களே துஆ செய்யுங்கள். நம்பிக்கையை இழக்காதீர்கள்.

- அல்லாஹ் SWT உடன் தொடர்பைப் பேணுபவர் மற்றும் நன்றியுள்ளவராக இருப்பவர் ஷைத்தானின் பொறிகளில் இருந்து காப்பாற்றப்பட முடியும்.

நபி ஆதம் மற்றும் ஹவ்வா (அலை) துஆ:

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمۡنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنِ مَنَرْحَ

"எங்கள் இறைவனே, எங்களுக்கு நாமே அநியாயம் செய்து கொண்டோம், நீ எங்களை மன்னித்து கருணை காட்டாவிட்டால், நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் நஷ்டமடைந்தவர்களாகி விடுவோம்." (7:23)

- இது நம்மை மறைத்துக் கொள்வதற்காக ஃபித்ராவிலிருந்து வருகிறது. இஸ்லாமிய வழிகாட்டுதலின்படி நம் ஆடைகள் நம்மை மறைக்கவில்லை என்றால் அது நாம் நிர்வாணமாக இருப்பது போலாகும். உங்கள் ஆடைகளைச் சரிபார்க்கவும் (ஆண்கள் மற்றும் பெண்கள் இருவரும்).

அல்லாஹ் SWT கூறுகிறான்: ஆதாமின் குழந்தைகளே, உங்கள் பெற்றோரை சொர்க்கத்தில் இருந்து அகற்றியது போல் சாத்தான் உங்களைச் சோதிக்க வேண்டாம், அவர்களி��் ஆடைகளை களைந்தான்... (7:27)

- உங்கள் இறைவனை பணிவாகவும் அந்தரங்கமாகவும் அழையுங்கள் (7:55)

- அல்லாஹ் உங்கள் மீது கருணை காட்ட வேண்டுமென நீங்கள் விரும்பினால், மக்களிடம் கருணை காட்டுங்கள்

- ஒரு நல்ல ஆன்மா வளமான நிலம் போன்றது, அது நல்லதை மட்டுமே உற்பத்தி செய்கிறது.

depending on how much you stay, you could dedicate a day to the Ostia Antica archeological park. it's big and outside the center, you can easily spend all day there. it's easy to reach and has a picknick place to eat your food. you could also do a quick tour of the small Ostia Antica town(?) since you're there

the Bioparco (zoological garden) is pretty cool. It has a white tiger called Gladio! He was rescued from some awful owner

there's so much else to visit, but you could check if the MAXXI, MACRO, and Chiostro del Bramante have any contemporary art stuff you might want to see

if you're visiting the Vatican Museums, consider buying the tickets online, the queue is reeeally long

I think the Bocca della Verità is very overrated. it's just a queue for a photo, go there only if you really really want one

I've never been to the Al Canova café but having a coffe surrounded by statues seems cool! (well, test copies of the statues)

the Testaccio-Trastevere zone in general has many places where both locals and tourists eat

some tasty food I recommend:

a warm slice of red pizza al taglio (pizza sold in square slices by the weight) from anywhere that isn't too close to tourists spots

a supplì from any pizzeria you'll eat at

a maritozzo (I've been told that Regoli and Il Maritozzaro are very good)

baccalà fritto (fried cod) (I've been told Dar Filettaro a Santa Barbara)

Morgaine 22 - UM DIA NA ESCOLA...

Ao chegarem na escola, Hisagi mostrou a Morgaine onde guardar a bicicleta e depois entraram juntos na escola.

Ainda era cedo e por isso poucos alunos tinham chegado.

“Qual é a sua primeira aula?” ele perguntou.

“Matemática e a sua?”

“Geografia… então, nos encontramos no intervalo?”

“Claro! Até mais tarde!” Morgaine disse se afastando.

O dia estava agradavelmente quente, e todos queriam aproveitar a volta do calor após um longo e frio inverno.

Mais tarde, na hora do almoço, Morgaine encontrou Hisagi do lado de fora do refeitório, e junto estavam suas colegas de alojamento, as primas de Hisagi e o namorado da Stormi.

Numa das mesas estavam Cid e Stormi conversando e flertando, True, Camilla e Gabi estavam debatendo sobre alguma coisa…

“Senti sua falta no fim de semana…" Cid disse olhando nos olhos de Stormi.

"Eu também senti a sua, mas infelizmente eu terei que treinar para o campeonato em todos os finais de semana. Assim que o campeonato acontecer, eu compensarei por todos os dias que não conseguimos nos encontrar..." ela prometeu.

"Eu vou te cobrar, hein?" Cid disse.

"Não se preocupe, você não vai se arrepender." e ela sorriu para Cid.

"Ah, Gabi! Eu vi no simstagram que a Pumpkin Potts vai dar outro churrasco esse ano! Mal posso esperar pra ver as fotos! O do ano passado foi fantástico!" Stormi diz, se virando para Gabi que estava atrás dela, do outro lado da mesa.

"Pumpkin Potts? A atriz de 'Better Beware' e 'A Família Jackson'?" Gabi pergunta, toda animada. "Eu adoro ela! Tô doida pra comprar a Sky Palette da potts cosmetics!"

Enquanto isso, Camilla e True estão discutindo.

"Essa Morgaine deve ter enfeitiçado meu primo! Ele não iria contra os valores de nossa família por vontade própria!" True esbraveja. "E se a família dela for de uma organização secreta que faz experimentos secretos no porão?"

"Ai, menina... deixa de ser paranoica! A Morgaine é uma ótima pessoa! Eu não acredito que ela possa fazer algum mal ao Hisagi ou a qualquer pessoa..." Camilla argumentou.

"É verdade, True! Ela me contou que a mãe dela era cientista mas ela pediu demissão quando descobriu que faziam experimentos não autorizados em aliens." Gabi disse.

"Tá vendo? A mãe dela foi cientista! Não consigo confiar nela!" True disse indignada.

Camilla e Gabi se calaram pois sabiam que ela não mudaria de ideia...

Na outra mesa Carmen, Yash e Samara curtiam o sol de primavera.

Já Morgaine e Hisagi estavam tão envolvidos que não notavam a presença dos outros alunos.

"Ainda não acredito que você reformou aquela bicicleta pra mim..." Morgaine disse, acariciando o rosto dele...

"Ah... não foi nada de mais..." Hisagi disse, ruborizando, mas mesmo assim ele não conseguia desviar o olhar dela.

Ele ainda não conseguia entender como uma pessoa podia deixá-lo tão à vontade... e ele nunca imaginou que sentiria falta de estar com ela quando ficavam muito tempo separados...

Hisagi estava tão envolvido com a presença de Morgaine que não percebeu o tempo passar. O sinal da escola tocou anunciando o fim do intervalo.

ONE DAY AT SCHOOL...

When they arrived at school, Hisagi showed Morgaine where to store the bike and then they entered the school together.

It was still early, so few students had arrived.

“Which is your first class?” he asked.

“Math and yours?”

“Geography… so, see you at lunch?”

"Sure! See you later!" Morgaine said walking away.

The day was pleasantly warm, and everyone wanted to enjoy the return of the heat after a long, cold winter.

Later, at lunchtime, Morgaine found Hisagi outside the cafeteria, and with her were her roommates, Hisagi's cousins, and Stormi's boyfriend.

"Missed you over the weekend…" Cid said looking into Stormi's eyes.

"I missed you too, but unfortunately I'll have to train for the championship every weekend. Once the championship happens, I'll make up for all the days we couldn't meet..." she promised.

"Pinky promise?" Cid said.

"Don't worry, you won't regret it." and she smiled at him.

Meanwhile, Camilla and True are arguing.

"That Morgaine must have bewitched my cousin! He wouldn't go against our family values willingly!" True lashes out. "What if her family belongs to a secret organization that does secret experiments in the basement?"

"Gee girl... stop being paranoid! Morgaine is a great person! I don't believe she can harm Hisagi or anyone else..." Camilla argued.

"It's true! She told me her mother was a scientist but she quit when she found out they were doing unauthorized experiments on aliens." Gabi said.

"See? Her mother was a scientist! I can't trust her!" True said outraged.

Camilla and Gabi got silent because they knew she wouldn't change her mind...

At the other table Carmen, Yash and Samara enjoyed the sun.

Morgaine and Hisagi were so involved that they barely notice the other students.

"I still can't believe you repaired that bike for me..." Morgaine said, caressing his face...

"Ah... it wasn't a big deal..." Hisagi said, blushing, but he couldn't look away from her though.

He still couldn't understand how one person could make him so comfortable... and he never imagined that he would miss being with her when they were apart for too long...

Hisagi was so caught up in Morgaine's presence that he didn't notice the time passing. The school bell rang announcing the end of the lunch.

Welcome to the Campfire AU! This blog gets lots of asks everyday so it can be kind of hard to find the basics of everything. So hopefully this can answer your questions if you’re new to the blog! 

 The AU doesn’t really have a plot. Just the sides being teens dealing with everyday stuff. The reason of why it’s called Campfire AU it’s because it all started with a comic where they went camping, but in all honestly it isnt even about camping at this point. Whoops!

What’s the AU about?

Are there any ships?

 This AU is 100% platonic! Many people get confused mainly because Dee and Remus are usually kinda flirty with each other. But they’re literally just messing around. Although, Vee and Logan get together in college (If this ship makes you uncomfortable, you can block the ‘’cf!analogical’’ tag!). But besides that, nothing else.

Is Thomas/Remy/Emile/etc in this AU?

 Yes, but actually no.

 Thomas and his crew are in this AU. BUT!!!! They have a very small, unsignificant role. Kind of like a cameo. They’re some cool yet scary looking monsters that appear on Vee's dreams. Vee also has a bat plushie named Count Joan.

 And Remy and Emile are Patton’s super cool toads. They just vibe.

What are the characters in the AU?

 Primary characters: Patton, Roman, Logan, Virgil, Janus (who still goes by Dee), and Remus.

 Secondary characters: King Creativity (Romulus), The Dragon Witch (DW), Annika (Vee’s biological mom), Celeste (Dee’s biological mom), and Mama and Papa Ruiz (Roman, Remus, and Romulus’ parents), Azariah, Nona, and Poppy (Dee and Remus' group of friends at school)

We dont really talk that much about Logan’s parents nor Patton’s dad, but they’re still there.

Blog’s ‘’Inside Jokes’’

The blog has some inside jokes that newcomers usually dont understand because they’re so bizarre and out of context, so here’s a quick guide. Beware, these are very dumb. I would like to apologize in advance:

The Jirt Dar: Its a jar full of dirt that Vee carries around and makes their friends put their hands inside of it if they catch them swearing.

The Sock Shirt: Remus owns a plain white shirt with the word ‘’sock’’ handwritten. That’s it. I have no idea why people find that hilarious.

Boneless Logan: Logan once had this theory that since he had never broken any bones in the past, he was, in fact, boneless. And still claims it to this day. Before you ask, no. He’s not serious about believing that, he just claims it to annoy or make people laugh. Has he ever broke a bone after that claim? Yes, he has.

‘‘Addy’‘: ‘’Addy’‘ is a nickname Vee has for Dee and it immediately triggers his Big Brother Mode because Vee only calls him that in scenarios when they’re sad, sick, etc.

‘‘Patton with an E‘‘:  When Vee and Patton first met, Patton had pointed out their last names where the same, except his had an ‘e’ at the end, and Vee thought it was pretty funny. Nowadays Patton sometimes introduces himself as ‘‘Patton with an E’‘ only to make Vee chuckle.

Hello! My name is Hay/Danny/OP i really dont mind how you refer to me as. I decided to make a little about me because I feel like I should set some boundaries for the sake of my mental health, basically some "please do not do this" because theyre personally triggering for me or make me uncomfortable.

Character’s specifics

(Before we start, I’d like to mention that the sides are quite further away from canon. Its called an AU for a reason, if you dont like how they’re portrayed, that’s fine, but please do not complain because, again, its an AU for a reason.) 

Patton: Patton is a complicated character. Let’s say hes bittersweet.

Pat has a very complicated relationship with his family, which would be the main reason of his anger issues and poor self esteem. He doesnt have any siblings and his mother left when he was around 9 years old. Leaving him only with his dad. Who is currently the Mayor. As time passed by, Patton as his dad started becoming extremely distant. Patton tried to fix his relationship with his father for a very good while. But nothing seemed to work, so he gave up and nowadays avoids him as much as he can.

At school Patton puts on this happy-go-lucky facade and hes known for being a very sweet and happy guy. Mainly because hes ashamed of the fact that hes, in his words, “an angry person.”

So he tries to come up with a friendly “mask”. Colorful clothes, and round glasses. Because colorful and round things come out as friendly, right?

Patton rarely wears black, unless it something like jeans or shoes. The thought of wearing all black will never cross his mind because hes so desperate to try and come off as a friendly guy.

But with his friends is a whole different story, Patton allows himself to be “his true self”, he allows himself to be mad at some things, he stops repressing the “ugly feelings”, he actually swears, and plays around in a more “rough” way in general. All in good terms, it will never be his intention to hurt his friends.

Facts:

Sophomore in highscool

Vee's best friend. They met each other in 7th grade because Vee was new in school.

He’s on the cheerleading team. Meaning that he’s quite strong, agile, and even flexible. Emphasis on strong. He once broke a guy’s nose because he was harrassing a girl.

Has been doing gymnastics since he was very little

He’s pescetarian. He strongly avoids meat, but still eats fish.

Absolutely loves horror movies, especially old ones. (His all time favorite is Halloween)

Actually has better grades than Logan. He’s a straight A student. Focuses too much on his grades because he wants to get a full scholarship for college.

Ends up majoring in law once he gets to college

Vee: Vee is a rather hyperactive person, and is very into mysterious subjects, such as cryptids, the paranormal, you get the vibe. They aren’t really that anxious, but the anxiety is still there. Especially when it’s about people they don’t know. Once they warm up to you, they barey shut up.

Vee still has some anxiety issues because they were bullied from 3rd grade to 6th grade and never said a word to anyone. Whenever their mom picked them up she’d always notice how sad they looked, sometimes even with puffy eyes from crying. But no matter how hard she tried, Vee would never tell her anything out of pure fear they’d get in trouble. The moment Vee admitted everything, she immediately changed them from that school.

On 7th grade they met Patton, and he was pretty much the one who managed to make Vee come out of their shell, he never forced them to do something they didn’t want to, but he slowly started to introduce them into doing new things that Vee once considered scary.

Vee had made huge progress regarding their self esteem thanks to Pat. And they are now trying to make the exact same thing for Patton.

Theirs and Dee’s moms were best friends in college (Dee’s dad was also Annika’s childhood friend). So these two have known each other since Vee was born. When they were 11-12 years old, their and Dee’s moms got married.

Even before that, Vee always saw Dee as a big brother.

They keep a dream journal. But if you happen to read it, you’ll realize that what’s written are not dreams, but nightmares. There are some drawings of monsters in some pages, even.

They says that they’re not  scared of most of them, though. That they’re used to it.

Ends up majoring in digital animation

Dee: He’s the most calm guy in the whole group. Usually the leader, even. He’s either a very responsible big brother with Vee or an absolute chaotic teenager with Remus. There’s no in between.

Dee has a really hard time trusting people, the only people he genuinely trusts are Remus, Vee, and his moms (Roman, Patton, and Logan are there too, but not as much as the ones mentioned.)

Dee’s parents got divorced when he was around 8. And his and Vee's moms got married when he was 14-15 years old. To this day his relationship with his dad is kind of complicated. He doesnt hate him, but he’s not quite sure how to feel about him. He calls every now and then to check up on him, and he appreciates it, but those calls usually end up with Dee feeling sort of awkward afterwards.

There isn’t much to say about him, mostly because hes very reserved with pretty much everyone. But hey, between us? Hes has a very soft spot for Vee

The scar around his eye is a burn scar from hot water when he was little (7-9 y/o), and the one on his cheek happened because him and Remus were playing with a knife when they were 14-15.

He knows how to drive, but usually Remus is the one who always does do.

Is on the theatre club. Both as a techie and as an actor

He’s 100% sure that he’s  bisexual. But the fact that he has such a hard time trusting people makes it hard for him to imagine himself in a relationship.

Ends up going to college for around two years before he decides to drop out.

Remus: He’s your local hyperactive guy that lives for that sweet, sweet adrenaline. He’s always looking for reckless things to do and he ALWAYS drags Dee to them (not like he minds). But he’s also a very loyal friend, especially to Dee. If he asked Remus for a favor he’d be 100% willing to do ANYTHING without doubts. He’s also highly protective over Vee, Patton, and Logan because theyre the youngest of the group.

His and Roman’s relationship went from horrible to amazing. Him and Roman absolutely despised each other when they were little, if they were put in the same room, 99% of the time they’d end up fighting, as time went by, they started to avoid each other as much as possible, then they kind of tolerated each other, but still never spent much time together. When Remus found Roman chopping his hair off while bawling his eyes out at 2 in the morning, their relationship definitely started to change for the best.

Roman: He’s the kindest and sweetest guy in the group. Hes always willing to help and listen to whoever needs it. He’s actually quite popular at school because of the fact that hes so kind. A ray of sunshine. Roman had a very hard time for a good while, but it all crumbled down on him on his freshman year. He felt super lonely, was absolutely lost with who he was as a person and had no idea who he wanted to be, what he wanted to do with his life, etc. He struggled with school and his grades dropped horribly because he had so much in his mind. No matter how hard he tried to concentrate, he just couldnt focus in school. He ended up repeating the year.

Like it was mentioned before, his relationship with Remus went from horrible to amazing. Unfortunately for them, because of this, they barely have childhood memories to look back to. But now they’re trying their best to make up for it. Roman would say that his and Remus relationship got better when Roman repeated his freshman year; Remus apologized to him for a straight hour because he admitted to notice Roman having a hard time, but decided to ignore it because he was “too damn prideful”. After that, little by little, they became closer.

Logan: First things first, while Logan is smart, he isn’t super smart, at least not academically speaking. He has really good grades, but he isn’t a straight A student. People tend to assume he’s a gifted student because of the fact that he skipped a year. But in reality that only happened because he had an advanced reading and writting comprehension so they made him skip first grade.

Logan used to be quite a loner when he was younger, and he was way too serious and cold because of it. When he met Roman, Logan realized that he was actually unhappy back then, and little by little he started to losen up more, joking around and not really minding what people think of it. Now look at him! He’s absolutely chaotic and his favorite hobby is annoying Patton (in a loving way, dont worry.). He still has a somewhat ‘’smart kid’’ reputation at school, but those people in his class are aware that he jokes around every now and then and is actually super chill. He’s known for either fixing people’s laptops/cellphones/tablets or because he can write your essays. He definitely makes money out of both of these things. Unless you’re his friend, he’ll do it for free

 Lo’s parents work a lot and travel every now and then because of it. So they are barely home. But they still talk and text quite often. If his parents happen to be travelling, they videochat. But because of this Logan is most of the time alone at home and learned to be VERY independent. Not like he brags about it, but hes kind of proud of it.

Because of his parents always being away, and the fact that Logan is an only child and never had any friends growing up, he learned to do many things in an attempt to fight the boredom, some of those things are cooking, fixing his own laptop, crafts (im talking about, cosplay worthy crafts), origami, among other things.

Yes, he also loves videogames way too much. Sometimes he messes his sleep schedule because he stays up late playing (usually with Patton)

He could learn how to drive. But he 100% prefers using his bike

He actually despises school and complains about it and about how flawed the educational system is on a daily basis

Ends up making a very last minute decision and going to an art school to study music composition instead of economics
