I definitely have a post about it somewhere but I can’t find it rn.

The losers are with each other 24/7. When they’re separated for a long time they start to go a little crazy (very dependent on each other, some more then others)

Like Stanley went to Boy Scout sleep away camp for a month and all the losers lost their minds, because they’re all dramatic mfs.

Picture Stanley coming back and going to hang out at the club house and all of the losers pouncing on him when he gets halfway down the ladder.

At sleepovers everyone has a specific place where they sleep

Richie, Bill, and Bev are what the others call “Chaos Sleepers” they kick, they snore, they move around constantly, and are extremely deep sleepers. They're usually all crammed together on a shitty air mattress (far away for everyone's safety). Bill sleeps on one end and Bev on the other, because Richie is a notorious blanket thief and neither of them wants to deal with that. Bev kicks in her sleep (hard) and Bill has a habit of somehow ending up sprawled across both of them by morning. Richie stays wrapped in the blankets he stole snoring through all the chaos.

Eddie and Ben are next to each other because they both tend to grab on to the person next to them when sleeping and they don’t let go. Ben definitely is more gentle about it while sleeping, throwing an arm over the person next him before latching on, while Eddie is a fucking human seatbelt and just automatically latches on once he’s out.(Stanley once got stuck between them and almost peed himself because he couldn’t get up in the middle of the night, he had to wake up Mike to get him out)

Stanley and Mike, who are the light sleepers of the group. Any noise or light will wake them up, so they’re always placed pretty far away from the “chaos sleepers”. Stanley gets pretty grumpy when he’s woken up and will make you feel bad about it (he needs all 8 hours or he’s a zombie for the rest of the day) Mike, on the other hand, doesn’t need a lot of sleep so once he’s fully up, he’s up for the rest of the day. (Mike is sunshine fr) Stanley started wearing ear plugs and an eye mask to bed (Richie got it for him, it’s pink and says princess) and ended up getting some for Mike.

Whats the best pointless, nonsense, adds-literally-nothing headcanon you can think of? I'm talkin' super mundane like 'Bill played DnD in college' or 'Eddie didn't know you could make toast without a toaster until he reunited with the Losers'.

OOOOOOHHH ok i love this one this is what i needed. some favourites of mine:

richie is a really good cook. he knows his way around the kitchen and can throw pretty much anything together into a yummy meal. even the weirdest combination of ingredients, somehow he makes it taste good.

on the other hand, eddie, cannot cook. not at all. he burns water. growing up sonia wouldn’t let him in the kitchen and neither would myra after he married her so he has 0 kitchen skills. so after the divorce when he is free i like to imagine him signing up for cooking classes.

ben and mike volunteer at the animal shelter. they both signed up individually, but happened to bump into each other when they were dropping off their applications at the same time. they love hanging out together and with the animals

in college bev works at the thrift store because it’s the perfect opportunity to find old clothes and curtains and tablecloths and fabric scraps and then take them home and practice making new clothes out of them. in college most of her wardrobe is clothes she fixed up from the thrift store.

stanley loves watching thriller movies/tv shows bc he sees them as a sort of puzzle. he is watching them and trying to figure out what the twist is going to be, who the killer is going to be, who’s gonna die and who’s gonna survive, and he feels proud and smart when he gets it right. the only downside is that nobody else likes watching thrillers with stan because he ends up spoiling the ending 10 minutes in.

bill and ben bond over their interest in writing. one day in english class bill asks ben for some help, because they’re doing the poetry unit in class and bill stinks at poetry, but he saw what ben wrote in class and it sounded pretty good. ben agrees, but only if bill agrees to help him back when they get to the short story unit. ben doesn’t have the first clue how to write a story, but he knows that bill has about a hundred he’s come up with.

i made a separate post about this a while back, but eddie getting into crochet or knitting while he’s recovering from his derry 2.0 injury. bev suggested it to him as an activity he could do while lying in bed, something calm but still engaging that he can keep his mind and his hands busy with. he gets super frustrated about it at first, but once bev coaches him along and supplies him with plenty tutorials, he actually finds that it is pretty fun and soothing, and soon he’s got a mountain of scarves and hats that he’s handing out to the losers.

i always love to imagine eddie as a college athlete. i know he wouldn’t be in canon, but in aus i love imagining him on the track and field team.

stan invites richie over and listens to him yapping like it’s a podcast while he’s doing his puzzles. it’s a therapeutic way for richie to let out all of his ranting plus stanley likes to listen to the gossip, plus background noise for doing his puzzles.

as adults after they defeat pennywise for good, the losers make an effort to see each other as much as possible, but one thing they always do is go on an annual vacation together. the first place they go is florida, because mikey never took himself there like he always wanted and the losers all agree that he needs to get the hell out of derry.

eddie’s middle name when i write him is always isaiah. it’s biblical, it’s pretty, and i just think eddie’s mom is very much about pretty perfect things and edward isaiah kaspbrak is just a pretty little name

richie

alwaysssss wentworth! always! richard wentworth tozier is so ingrained into my mind that it’s almost canon to me. i just think wentworth and maggie are the type to name their kids after themselves and when richie was born they were like okay cute, little boy, dads name as his middle name.

i think stanley asher is so cute and it’s also a popular name in hebrew and it goes well with his last name so i do love it. truth be told i did do a little digging when i was 14 and needing a middle name for stan and asher was one of the names that kept showing up on popular jewish names websites so it kinda just stuck w me. stanley asher uris ur so famous to me <3

idk if this is really accurate but this is what I thought of, also this was sitting in my inbox for awhile....

literally stealing inspiration for this hc from my other acc because i haven't been able to stop thinking about this au for days BUTTTTTT losers club band au is like,,,,, kind everything to me guys,,,,,,,,, im imagining them being like 15 and just goofing off in richie's garage, playing around with richie's guitar he bought at a thrift store and a makeshift drum set they built out of buckets, somebody's got a harmonica, and their music sounds like shit but they're having a lot of fun and that's all that matters. one day mike brings his camera and bev brings over some clothes she's sewn together and they dress up in them and film a silly little music video.

fast forward to when they're in college, richie randomly decides to pick up the guitar again and try re-learning it (well, not that he ever really learned how to play it in the first place- he kinda just pressed and strung the strings at random until it sounded decent). once he learns some chords and how to play some simple melodies, he thinks about ben, who used to come up with little poems and song lyrics when they were kids but never did anything with it. he remembers how eddie used to go crazyyy on their diy drum set, he remembers that bev had quite a nice voice when she wasn't goofing around...

his friends think he's joking when he first brings up the idea of getting their old band back together because, well, they were never really a band in the first place- it was all just for fun. but, richie pushes them all to just give it a shot- after all, how else is he supposed to achieve his dream of being the first rock and roll star from derry?
