Importance of Quality Images for Only Jewelry Sale
Tumblr media
Photos are very important especially when selling jewelry online, on social platforms, or even in the paper catalogs. Jewelry is an accessory that the target customer buys with more than economic purposes since the main emotion that it elicits is that of beauty.
Such aspects involve the quality aspect where images have significant impacts on the potential customers’ decision-making process. This is why quality images are very essential when it comes to sales of jewelry. In this blog, we’ll talk about the importance of quality product image for jewelry businesses. If you need help with product image retouching, and editing, search Jewelry photo retouching services near me, and choose to connect with Global Photo Edit.
Showcasing the Intricate Details
Another significant aspect of jewelry refers to its embellishments including engravings, gems, and metals. High-quality images, therefore, help you capture and display such details for the customer to see and marvel at the workmanship.
A fine-grained, focused image provides the ability to see any detail on the surface of the gemstone, any carving or detailing, and the subtleties of the metalwork. Such detailed depiction is crucial to persuade a customer on the value and appeal of the piece in consideration.
Building Trust with Customers
The concept of trust is a vital aspect especially when it comes to buying jewelry and particularly exquisite brands. People reading these descriptions, the customers in particular, would wish to be informed that what was advertised is what they are going to get. Such trust is fostered by quality images that depict the product as it is.
Low-quality images, which are either blurred, not well illuminated, or do not highlight the details can make the jewelry seem low quality, or fake. On the other hand, sharp, clear, and bright images with truthful colors and lines give the customer confidence in their purchase.
Enhancing Perceived Values
This means that the manner in which jewelry is displayed is an essential factor that dictates the perceived value of the product. This is why having high-quality photos of the jewelries enhances the perceived value, therefore justifying the higher prices.
When professionally done and from the right sources, lighting, good backgrounds, and post-processing can enhance the appearance of the product to seem more luxurious. This perception of luxury is important for the jewelry market, with reliance on such factors as emotions and status when making a purchase. Search for a jewelry product photo editing company near me, and contact Global Photo Edit to know more.
Influencing Buying Decisions
The buying of jewelry is usually initiated through the appeal of the emotions of the buyer. The public is willing to find something they want, whether it has to be for their own use, someone special, or the way they want to express themselves.
Standard pictures that depict the beauty of a certain item convey the emotions required, making the customers make the purchase. Well-lit images that depict the jewelry from different sides, in different lighting conditions, on a person’s hand helps users envision themselves wearing the jewelry hence buying.
Reducing Returns and Customer Dissatisfaction
Incorrect or low quality images cause dissatisfaction because the customer expects to receive a product that is as shown in the image. This can lead to returns, which are not only expensive but can also harm the brand image.
This ensures that the customers do not leave the site disappointed because the images provided were not as appealing or accurate as the actual jewelry. This also helps in reducing return rates and boosting customer satisfaction and loyalty in the process.
Improving Online Presence and Marketing
The growing importance of the internet means that having an online presence is paramount for any business, especially those in the jewelry industry. The clear and appropriate images are important for making a good website and publication, interesting and eye-catching posts for the social media accounts, and effective web advertisement.
These images can be used on various mediums to effectively market your products and get more people visiting your site and buying from you. Also, beautiful pictures will attract more shares on social media platforms hence exposing your brand to more users.
Differentiating Your Brand
The jewelry industry is saturated, and there are many brands that target the same consumers. High-quality images can serve to create a perception of uniqueness providing the customer with a reason to choose your brand over the others.
This way, consumers consistently receive and perceive your jewelry in a professional and eye-catching manner, giving your brand personality a perfect fit with your audience’s expectations. These differences are strategic in drawing a loyal customer niche as well as being unique among the many players in the market.
Supporting Professionalism and Credibility
The quality of images used defines the credibility of the brand and the professionalism of your company. One of the worst things that one can do is to produce low-quality images of your brand because that is what may be perceived by prospective buyers.
On the other hand, high-quality images take people seriously and guarantee that your business is a credible one that cares about quality and detail. This professionalism can result in improvement in customer confidence and hence better sales.
Conclusion
In the jewelry business, where image, beauty, passion and attachment are core values, quality images are not an extra; they are critical. They are important in presenting the detailed features of each work, gaining credibility, raising the perceived value of the products, guiding the purchase decisions, minimizing returns, improving web presence, creating a unique brand image and professionalism.
High-quality product photography is mandatory for any jewelry line that wants to be successful in today’s environment. In essence, the right choice of product images speaks to the customers and entices them to make the purchase.

*:・゚✧ RESTRAINT ╰┈➤ part 02 of 05
masterlist | pairing: itachi x reader publish date: 04.04.24 warnings: itachi continues to be annoying. reader goes through the 5 stages of realizing you love your boss. there's alcohol and glitter.
Tumblr media
The rest of the work week flew by and before you know it you're staring at yourself in your full length mirror, nerves buzzing just below your skin. You're one misstep away from a nervous breakdown and clack the front of your freshly done nails together, the clicking sound distracting you from your spinning thoughts.
It was currently seven o’clock and you had an hour to finish getting ready before a driver would come get you. Between now and when Itachi had invited (but also sort of demanded) you accompany him you had found a dress, matching shoes, borrowed a small purse from your friend, and even got your nails and toes done.
Now you're left with your hair and jewelry.
Events like these always took way longer to get ready for.
If you're being entirely truthful, you liked getting dressed up. Like really dressed up. You rarely had an excuse to go all out like this and it always made you feel pretty. Girly. Confident, even.
But the anxiety buzzing through your system were killing your vibe.
You hadn't even been that nervous until your backstabbing best friend cheekily said “Wow, an entire night on Itachi’s arm - as his date. That’s different.” when you stopped by yesterday to borrow her purse. It clicked, right then and there, that this was different. You'd gone through the steps of convincing yourself this was just another work event, only to have the proverbial rug ripped out from under you.
You were going to a gala, one of the most socially relevant parties of the year, with your boss. You were going to this extremely extravagant and public event not as his assistant or colleague ... but with him.
This wasn’t work. This wasn’t a meeting or a conference. This was a social event. Where socializing took place. Where people - important, powerful, famous people - would see you. With Itachi.
As his date.
Your chest begins to burn and you idly wonder if having a heart attack would be a good enough reason to cancel.
Knowing Itachi it wouldn't be.
Okay, focus. Hair and jewelry. Retouch makeup if needed. Another swipe of deodorant and a spritz of perfume. Then, if there's time, unrestrained panic.
It takes you a good thirty minutes to decide to wear your hair up and style it, to prevent you from fiddling with it all night. You idly picked through an assortment of hair pins, wanting something to make your look really pop. Your dress was simple but elegant and if you were going to show up with the Itachi Uchiha you needed to look the part. The plunging neckline surprisingly offered you support while showing off your cleavage behind sheer fabric. Your back was completely bare, the straps on your shoulders thin, and the slit ran high; but was covered by more sheer fabric. It was light, easy to move in, and one of your favorites. You choose a sparkling hairpin and add it to your up-do, twisting your head back and forth to get the full effect.
You just needed jewelry.
The low vibration from your phone distracts you and you smile when you see who's calling. You answer the Facetime request and your smile broadens when your best friend immediately begins squealing.
“Oh my god, shut up! You look so good.”
You snort and wave her off as you position your phone on your dresser to free up your hands. She continues talking and you think you hear glass clinking in the background.
“When’s boss man picking you up? Is he even going to be able to function around you? Like, I'm engaged and honestly, I'll leave him for you right here and now. Just say the word.”
The laugh that escapes you is warm and the anxiety you were feeling earlier begins to fade.
“Tell your fiance if he makes one wrong move I’ll say the word and steal you back. And he’s not picking me up, he’s sending a driver. I've got, like, thirty minutes."
Your friend makes a noise and you can see the wine glass in her hand as she moves to sit on her couch.
“Well, I just wanted to call before you left so I could see the final product. I love your hair, is that the hairpin I got you?”
You nod and spin, showing off the back of your head, giggling when you hear her audibly whistle.
“Babe, you look even better from the back! If Itachi doesn’t make a move, go find some other rich CEO to marry so you can pay for my wedding.”
You give your friend an unimpressed look and decide not to respond, instead holding up two different pairs of earrings.
“Shut up and help me. Which ones?”
After five minutes of going back and forth you find yourself wearing two different pairs of earrings; your friend sighing and nibbling her lips as her eyes flicked back and forth.
“Damn, they’re both so good. Let’s find a necklace and then come back.”
Soon, you’ve picked a necklace, a simple bracelet, and even added some more glitter to your eyes to make them shine. Still, neither of you could decide on which earrings. You move on to your deodorant and double check you have everything in your purse while she updated you on a frustrating new hire at her company. It felt like old times, back before you worked for Itachi and before she had met her now fiance, when it was just the two of you struggling against the world.
“Okay, okay, let’s focus up. You do a shot yet?”
You scrunch your face up at the old memory and snort. Back when you and your best friend lived together you would always take one shot of whatever alcohol you had on hand before going to any kind of social event that made you both nervous. A house party, birthday, forced family outing; it didn't matter. It was a way to take the edge off, without “being trashy” as she so eloquently put it. The tradition was rooted deep, even with you both living apart, and you can't help but smile.
“No. I don’t drink when I’m working.”
The gasp that meets your ears is loud, pained, and dramatic. You're surprised your cell speaker still functions once she's done wailing.
“Uh-uh! This isn’t work, this is a date. At a fancy gala. With fancy people. And your hot as shit boss.”
You try and prove your indifference with a shrug but even through the phone she wasn't having it.
“We’ve still got fifteen minutes, take me to your kitchen woman! I’ll do one with you, in solidarity.”
You reward her with a laugh and pick your phone up, obeying her very demanding request. You place her on your countertop near your stove and shake your head when you see her doing the same, frantically searching her own kitchen for alcohol.
“Okay okay, let’s see. I've got some questionable tequila and some very fancy vodka, which is more the mood we're going for. What about you?”
You hum and peek in your fridge, mildly surprised you still have some raspberry flavored vodka left over from weeks ago.
“I’ve got vodka too, but I wouldn't call it fancy.”
There’s loud cheering coming from your phone’s speaker and you roll your eyes, grabbing a shot glass from the top of your fridge. You fill it easily and hold it up to your camera, smiling when you see your friend do the same.
“Alright! Cheers to you, your hot ass, and Itachi removing that stick from his hot ass. On three!"
You count down and throw back the sweet smelling alcohol, immediately crinkling your nose at the burn in your throat. You hear audible gagging and chuckle as you watch your friend frantically search her kitchen for a chaser.
“Jesus Christ, this shit sucks. I hate my fiance, let’s kick him out and you can move in again. Then we can get rid of all this nasty shit in my fridge.”
Your laugh turns into a fond smile and you open your mouth to retort when there’s a knock at your door. Frowning slightly at the intrusion, you turn and eye the clock on your wall.
Seven fifty. You had ten more minutes to prepare for Itachi’s driver and someone was knocking at your door.
Great.
“Gotta go lover, some jackass is banging on my door. I’ll text you later!”
“What!? Let me see! Push me against the peep hole so I can tell them to fuck off!”
You snort and shake your head, waving goodbye before disconnecting the video. If your friend had it her way, you’d keep her on the line all night, hiding her in your purse and whipping her out to gossip about everyone around you.
You move toward your door, dropping your phone on your couch, and go to unlock it without checking your peephole. It was more than likely your neighbor, who sometimes got confused in his old age about what apartment he was at. You open the door with fervor and blink stupidly at who you see standing in the hallway.
Okay.
Definitely not your neighbor.
Itachi finds himself in your hallway, attention directed towards adjusting his cuff links, and glances up at the sound of your door opening. Years of practice and etiquette training have him schooling his features to not betray the absolute turmoil he feels from seeing you.
You were an absolute vision.
You had outdone yourself and Itachi forces himself to memorize this moment in it's entirety. Your eyes shone beneath simple makeup and glitter, your hair twisted and styled beautifully in an up-do that left your neck bare. The wide eyed surprise on your face only adds to your allure and Itachi finds himself struggling to control the way his pulse quickens. The dress you're wearing is either new or had been hiding in your closet somewhere and he fights to keep his eyes on your face. From what he can see, the sheer fabric that hugs your body leaves little to the imagination, and something warm begins to burn through him.
Curling his mouth into a friendly smile, Itachi goes to speak to break the charged silence between you two, but you cut him off breathlessly - eyes narrowing.
“You’re early.”
Itachi almost laughs as the heat in his chest begins to spread. Maybe he'd tell his driver to leave, skip the troublesome gala, and see if he could convince you to stay in. Maybe -
“Are you ready?” Itachi forces himself to ask, smile widening to show teeth when you roll your eyes and step to the side, inviting him in wordlessly. He needed to see the night through. He wouldn't be so easily distracted by your glitter and barbed tongue.
“No, because you’re early. Are you incapable of telling time without me?”
The butterflies assaulting your chest mixed with the alcohol warming your skin have you coming closer and closer to the unrestrained panic you were feeling earlier. He’d said be ready by eight and you had assumed he would send a driver, like always.
Obviously you were wrong.
Itachi hums, pointedly ignoring your jab, and steps into your apartment. You eye him warily as his head turns slowly, no doubt inspecting your place. He’d never been inside of your home before and finds himself taking in all of the little details. Soft touches of you were everywhere and while he could classify your apartment as busy, it was also comforting. Lived in. A home filled with framed pictures, small plants, and what seemed to be an inappropriate amount of blankets. There were at least two on the couch, two on the armchair, and a pile folded up and tossed onto the ottoman. He reaches for the worn red one on the couch and pulls it between his fingers, eyes sparkling in amusement.
“Do you get cold often?” He questions and you snort, crossing your arms over your chest.
“Shut up. You don’t get to insult my blankets after barging into my apartment.”
Itachi glances at you before dropping the fabric in his hand.
“I don’t believe I’ve ever ‘barged in’ anywhere.”
This pulls a trademark eye roll out of you and Itachi finds himself smiling fondly before his brow furrows. You notice immediately and frown, cocking your head slightly.
“What?” you ask, inhaling sharply when your boss takes a measured step towards you. His movement leaves barely any space between you and you follow his eyes, confused at the way they seemed to trail from the left to the right.
What was he looking at -
Oh. Your earrings.
“Shit” you murmur, both hands coming up to fiddle with the mismatched jewelry dangling from your ears. You had completely forgotten that you hadn’t chosen a set yet and can’t help but grin up at Itachi, shrugging sheepishly.
“Couldn’t decide on a pair, just give me a minute to -”
You go to step around him, planning on just picking randomly and grabbing your shoes from your bedroom, when he shifts his stance to block you. You halt your movement, glancing up at him again, only for everything to shut down when a warm hand reaches to brush against your ear.
Here’s the thing, about Itachi and physical touch.
He didn’t do it. In fact, you’d seen him actively avoid it.
It's not like you two hadn't touched before - consequences from working so closely together. A brush of fingers when handing off files to each other between meetings, a polite hand on the other one’s forearm to grab their attention, a tap on the shoulder to signal it was time to move on. You've even fallen asleep on him a couple times at the airport, which was always coupled with an apology and an indifferent shrug. Regardless, physical touch between you two was always quick, always professional, and never meant to be anything more than innocent.
The hand currently brushing against your face was anything but.
Your body, traitorous thing, was completely frozen and you can’t do anything but blink rapidly at the sudden contact. His fingers toy with your dangly earring and brush where your jaw meets your neck, eyes focused as he considers you. He mirrors his movements on the other side of your head, essentially cradling your face while he mulls over which earrings he likes. At least, that's what you assume he's doing. It's not like you can ask, you're entire being was rendered immobile and useless under his touch and distantly you wonder if you're still breathing. Maybe you stopped. Maybe you'll pass out and wake up and he'll be gone and you can ... oh. The thumb that slowly starts to stroke your jaw fractures your train of thought and you swallow when Itachi finally steps back and drops his hands, eyes glinting mischievously.
“The one on the right suits you better.”
It takes you a moment to remember what he was talking about. You bring a hand that you were trying very hard to keep from shaking up to your right ear and fiddle with the jewelry attached to it.
“Thanks.” you reply, voice barely above a whisper, and move past him to finish getting ready in your bedroom. It only takes you a minute to put on matching earring and grab your shoes and purse - but you take an extra minute to collect yourself.
The heat pooling in your abdomen was working with the butterflies assaulting your tummy and you take a final breath, urging yourself to get it together. It didn't mean anything, he was just messing with you like always, it didn't mean anything. You step out and grab your phone from the couch before dropping it in your purse and heading to the door.
“Let's go Uchiha, now I'm waiting on you.”
There's a low chuckle from behind you and soon you're both entering your building's elevator after exiting your apartment. You're trying desperately to get your heart rate back to normal and spare a glance towards your boss as the doors ding shut.
You had to admit he looked good. Itachi was dressed in all black, his suit jacket extremely form fitting, and you spy what’s come to be your favorite dress shirt underneath it. You noticed that he wasn’t wearing a tie and can’t help but smile.
“Going for a more casual look tonight?” You snark, meeting his gaze with an arched brow. Itachi looked the exact opposite of casual with his hair neatly styled and silver cuff links sparking. Your boss would be breaking necks well into the evening, but still. The absence of a tie strikes you as kind of funny and you're grasping for some sort of normalcy.
Making fun of him was your version of normal. It was a comfortable default and you planned to use it all night if needed.
Itachi narrows his eyes at you and snorts, looking back to watch the numbers on the elevator go down.
"Someone once told me I needed to learn how to tone it down.”
This brings a genuine laugh out of you as memories from a previous conversation spring forward. You had both been attending an art gallery, looking to purchase some pieces for the lobby that had been recently redone. He’d shown up in a similar outfit to the one he was wearing now, which made him a bit overdressed and a complete contrast to your very casual professional attire. Attendees had paid more attention to your boss than the art that night and after two glasses of wine you pulled him to the side, grinning from ear to ear.
“Tone it down Fabio, before they start bidding on you instead.”
His unfiltered reaction had been priceless, head turning toward you so quickly you were surprised his neck didn’t break. Once he saw your evil little smile he’d glared at you and actually rolled his eyes, before directing your attention to a painting he wanted for his office.
"Whoever suggested that is probably a genius and grossly underpaid." You sniff, pretending to pick at a stray thread on your purse. It wasn't a secret that your boss was unjustly pretty and on days when you were feeling particularly sour about it you made sure to tease him. There's a catch of breath from next to you that could be described as a laugh as the elevator doors opened and you begin to move forward, only to come to a complete stop when Itachi speaks.
"She's certainly troublesome, but I'm quite fond of her."
You whip your head to the right, mouth parting in surprise at the bold choice of words, but Itachi is already exiting the elevator, holding the door open with his arm. You spy his driver on the other side of the clear glass doors in your apartment lobby and lift your chin up, determined to not let him see how easily he continued to fluster you. It was all a game, one you've played with him many times, and while you feel the flames of defeat licking at your heels you wouldn't go down easily.
You walk past him, focusing on keeping your breaths even, when he leans in, the silk in his voice barely above a whisper.
“She's also particularly stunning this evening.”
You turn to face him, brow furrowed in confusion, all while failing to ignore the way your heart practically jumped out of your throat.
“Stop that.” You breathe and Itachi arches a brow, withdrawing his arm so the elevator doors can close.
“Stop what?” he asks, so innocently confused, and you bristle, anxiety mixing with something else that was starting to kindle. You had only done one shot, you weren't a lightweight by any means, but that bit of alcohol combined with whatever game Itachi was playing was throwing you through a loop. The pouty, irritable part of you wanted to scratch his eyes out while demanding answers but you'd either needed more alcohol or less witnesses to move forward with that half-cocked plan. So instead -
“You're annoying." You deadpan, turning to keep walking to the car. An amused hum follows you and you can picture the smug look on your boss' face as you both make your way outside. There was a chill in the air that helped alleviate the agitated heat you were battling and by the time you're seated comfortably in the backseat you're feeling a bit more normal.
Itachi slides into the seat next to you and immediately reaches for a pile of folders on the seat next to him. You make a noise of disapproval before remembering that you're still annoyed with him.
“Seriously? Were you working on your way over here? It’s Saturday. We’re literally going to a party.”
You're pointedly ignored, but the driver who's name you cannot remember snorts lightly from the front and your smile shows teeth.
“See? Even he thinks you’re insane.”
Itachi pauses his perusal to glance between you and the console mirror, eyes narrowing marginally.
"I don't pay you two to team up against me."
A sharp, sarcastic noise escapes you and you lean forward, going so far as to place your hand on the driver's seat.
"Does it state anywhere in your contract that we can't conspire together?"
"No ma'am." The man responds, his tone clipped and professional, but the playful glint in his eye made your nose scrunch up in amusement.
"No." You cheerfully agree, settling back into your seat and going so far as the flick the corner of the folder still in Itachi's hands. Your boss lets out a long suffering sigh that you're sure he'd been holding in for days, before relenting and closing the document.
"This is the business proposal for Kakuzu's new-"
"Oh, really? Wow that's incredible, I don't remember asking-"
"If we can come to an agreement this would mean-"
"Wow, again with more information that no one asked-"
"You are quite possibly the most-"
"Incredible, talented, intelligent-"
"I could fire you-"
"Oh I dare you-"
You find yourself laughing as you and Itachi fall into a comfortable back and forth, nerves quickly dissipating as the car pulls off. So long as the rest of the night went like this, you would be fine.
You hoped.

i wish i had more of a handle on knuckles i wanna do serious character analysis on knuckles.
easily embarrassed. easily angered. full of love. trusted too easily and now doesn't trust anyone (except for like 6 people). poor guy's first friend was eggman and like it or not it informs a lot of who he is today and how he interacts with people. super awkward from being isolated for so long (knuckles and silver solidarity). obviously cares deeply about his land and culture, loves it and mourns for it in equal measure every day. protects his true friends and is always there if you truly need him, despite his insincere grumblings. scared of company, grateful for company, longs for company.
great forager and gardener. bad with technology, overstimulated by bright lights and a lot of noise, is generally a guy who Wants To Go Home (his autism....). uncomfortable in positions of authority (The War) but still likes to Have A Say. does not tolerate nonsense unless he's in on the nonsense (sonic and him shoot each other out of cannons for fun i think). skilled weaver, skilled at making jewelry, skilled with survival, awkward around chao but is still very very good with them because he's lived with them his whole life.
adventurous, though not great at adapting to new situations (the autism). likes exploring / learning about other ancient cultures, languages, and peoples. curious about the nature of the world (where the master emerald came from, general existential stuff). likes a challenge. shows affection via mutual snark and/or deep talk about the universe. doesn't know much about planes but likes listening to tails talk about them.
is so hard on himself that he seriously contemplates ending his own life if he feels like he has failed his duties. feels like he exists for one purpose, despite his value to the world being much more than that. fears leaving his post because of multiple terrible experiences around leaving the master emerald unguarded, making him paranoid and wary, but his initially justified fear ends up isolating him and stunting him further. good thing his friends are so insistent on visiting and getting him out to see the world - he needs that.
again, is always there when you really need him. isn't good at emotional stuff but is a great shoulder to cry on nonetheless. heart achingly honest and genuine. will say what he thinks. doesn't pick up on social cues very well (autism). doesn't like admitting when HE needs a shoulder to cry on, but his loving friends are there for him even if he doesn't say anything - they know him well.
pushes people away to make himself feel safe and protect his squishy center - some of his best friends annoy the shit out of him because they insisted on being best friends with him anyway. great company once you get to know him. makes people laugh - time spent with sonic has honed his sense of humor.
precise, steady hands. great spatial awareness and reasoning. knowledgable about traditional medicine. is very clean and smells good. punches real good. good at conserving ancient artifacts and ruins - cleaning them, protecting them, maybe even retouching them or making some of his own.
he's so scared of being wronged. he longs for company. he's lonely. he's hard on himself. he's so full of love. he looks amazing in hats. and his song lied he DEFINITELY chuckles

haitani ran cares about your appearance as much as he does about his own. he loves it when you are able to make people turn their heads as you walk together, only for them to realize how possessively ran grips your waist, paired with a cocky smile on his handsome face.
ran does not get jealous—after all, you are his favorite doll, and he believes he is the best you could ever have. those people are nothing compared to him.
ran enjoys it when people realize that the person they find attractive is his, leaving them to stare and wonder what it would be like if you were theirs. he takes pride each time people steal glances at you, some hesitating to approach and ask for your number before he shows up, immediately extinguishing their courage.
ran thinks those people are pathetic, coveting something out of their league when ran has you wrapped around his finger. sometimes, he wants to show them how much he owns you, how far you are willing to go just to please him, being his good little toy that can do nothing but to accept and take everything he has to give only to hear honeyed praises from him.
ran always gives you whatever you want, as long as it makes sense. so, if it is about allowances to pamper yourself—getting your nails done every two or three weeks, visiting your hairstylist each month, having your eyelashes retouched, buying yourself some new accessories, jewelry, or clothes—though he prefers to be there to choose the outfits himself.
ran is generous, but if it is about making you look even more gorgeous than you already are (although he is not sure if that is even possible because you are already so stunning), he will not hesitate to spend a significant sum of money.
ran likes it when you get your nails done, seeing new nail art as your fingers intertwine with his, wondering about the concept you have chosen this time. but on top of everything, he likes it the most when your pretty nail art-adorned fingers wrap around his cock as you look up to him through your lashes, scrutinizing every subtle change in his expression while you are working diligently to please him.
and if he is feeling generous, he might reward your efforts with a gentle caress on your cheek. after all, he has spoiled you enough, so it is only right for you to try harder to earn a praise from him, isn't it?
ran loves making you feel pretty, only to turn you into a beautiful mess in his hands.

I’m back with another modern!au idea because you write them SO well, and it immediately made me think of you.
I was thinking Aelin is an influencer, reader is a photographer and they meet on a set ? Maybe reader either doesn’t really know who Aelin is, or pretends she doesn’t? I could see Aelin going all out to try and win her over
sorry that’s all over the place! I love your writing and you’re a wonderful person ♥️

a/n;; i LOVE your ideas and i love writing modern au!!!! AND YOURE ALSO A WONDERFUL PERSON AND YOUR WRITING IS AMAZING
WARNINGS;; a little suggestive at the end, angst to fluff
Tumblr media
aelin ashryver galathynius, also known as aelin galathynius or a.g. was the most important influencer erilea has ever seen.
every brand wanted her, she was… beautiful wasn’t the word to describe her, she was a goddess, created by the gods.
and she was going to have a photoshoot with her. working as a photographer in the most famous clothing brand of terrasen, she was nervous. extremely nervous. she had followed her career since day one, and she loved her. she knew aelin didn’t remember her, at that time she was still studying to be a photographer, in charge of helping the main photographer, she had watched aelin pose for the pictures, and when the photoshoot was done, she had managed to talk to her.
but that was 3 years ago, and now as the main photographer, she was going to see her again. and she had to pretend she didn’t know her.
“i want the spotlight there, and the bench in the center, and-”
“hello everyone!”
she was here. ready for the photoshoot.
breathe in. breathe out. breathe in. breathe out.
when she was ready, she turned to her. aelin was wearing a black suit, heels and golden jewelry. the makeup was simple and still, she looked gorgeous. she walked a step, two, three steps, until she was in front of her.
“hi, im the photographer in charge of everything, you must be aelin, right?” she said, shaking her hand.
“the one and only.” she answered, and her eyes narrowed a bit. “have we met before? i think i know you…”
“no, i dont think so, im new here”
“oh well, that’s perfect” she lowered her voice “i didn’t like the other one, he was a bit weird”
“yeah, he was,” they both laughed. “well, let’s begin”
she had never done a photoshoot like this. the photos were incredible, and they don't have to be retouched. every pose, every face, every angle was perfect. she was perfect. she thought. and she looked at her while she talked to the makeup artists. impossible. impossible to be with her. she was only a photographer, and she was an influencer, she could have anyone she wanted with a smile. a girl in charge came up to her, asking her about some photos.
and she didn’t know aelin was looking at her.
☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆—————————☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ —————————
she saw aelin again. and again. and again.
apparently, she said in a magazine that she was the best photographer she had ever worked with. would you work with her again? yes, of course. she had answered.
and she worked with her. and everytime she worked with her, aelin would find a way to talk to her. minutes, half hour, hours… until the hours they saw each other at work turned into dates, always avoiding the paparazzis, or that was what they thought.
BREAKING NEWS: AELIN GALATHYNIUS HAS BEEN SEEN WITH THE FAMOUS BRAND PHOTOGRAPHER T.D.
no, no, no, no.
this wasn’t happening. this had to be a joke.
her phone rang. again. again. again. four messages. aelin, but she couldn’t talk to her, not now that she had ruined her career.
her heartbeat was going fast. too damn fast. she needed to breathe.
in. out. in. out. in .out. in-
the door bell.
she walked to the door, and before she could she anything, a golden storm entered her home.
“why haven’t you answered my messages?”
“aelin don’t-”
“please answer me”
“i… this aelin, is too much. too fucking much. do you have an idea of the people that are going to talk about me? you’re an influencer aelin. you are famous, and i'm only a photographer, i'm going to be the one night stand, the girl who was with aelin because of the money, for the prestige, the slut of aelin galathynius” she didn’t know she was crying until she felt her tears wet her shirt. “and as much as i like talking to you, this has to stop”
“are you done?”
her eyes widened “what? wait. have you heard anything i've said?”
aelin walked to her. taking her face with her hands, she sighed. “i’ve been waiting months for this”
she looked at her eyes. “for what?”
aelin smiled, and her answered…
kissing aelin felt like the summer breeze. dancing with fire in the forest. she tasted like lemon verbena, crackling embers and jasmine, and she thought she was going to burst into flames.
she didn’t know how much time passed until they broke away, desperate for oxygen. she wasn’t able to open her eyes, but she felt aelin’s gaze on her face. opening her eyes slowly,  aelin smiled at her.
“you know what this means? this, and this” she took her hand, placing it above her heart “is your’s. you’re the only one i want with me, you’re the only one i love”
“who are you and what have you done with aelin? aelin laughed. loud and happy.  “well and now, why don't we celebrate that we are together?”
she laughed as her arm hugged her by her shoulders.
“that’s my girl”

In an atmosphere of celebration 🥳 Congratulations on the 300
How about Kempe and reader celebrating a dating anniversary? Very romantic! Lots of affection, slow dances... candles 😍
The Way You Look Tonight with Adrian Kempe
A/N: First, Thank you so much!!! Second, you're speaking my language :) But I think you already know that! I went with a wedding anniversary because I wanted it to be so extra! And that is first wedding anniversary category.
Word Count: 2.1k
Warnings: Boob grabbing, so fluffy you’re gonna die.
Adrian Kempe has never been one to skimp.
And tonight, on your first wedding anniversary, is no different.
You just arrived back in L.A. to get settled before the season after visiting both of your families.
After you finished lunch this afternoon, Adrian immediately sent you off to the salon so you could get your highlights and color retouched along with a quick trim. He surprised you with manicure and pedicure appointments at the same time, followed by full hair and make up. When you returned home, you were disappointed to find he was nowhere to be found. Instead, a gorgeous bouquet of deep, red roses with hints of baby breath sat on your counter. A note in his scratchy writing is resting with a corner under the vase.
A year ago today, we made the best decisions of our lives. Thank you for choosing me, beautiful girl. Happy first anniversary. Jag alsker dig.
P.S. Go upstairs. More fun awaits you.
You lean in, savoring the sweet smell of the roses before giddily bounding up the stairs. There, you find a black garment bag along with two Cartier boxes. You bite your lip, grabbing the smaller of the two and popping it open. Gorgeous pearl earrings greet you. They are reminiscent of your grandmother's that you wore for your wedding last year. The other box has a dainty necklace with yours and Adrian's initials lined along the swoop of the chain. A note from him says more initials can be added as your family grows with a wink.
The jewelry is stunning, but the black, beaded, A line dress really gets your butterflies swirling. It's paired with gorgeous ombre red to black, open toe Louboutin heels. You start to get a little sweaty at the price tag of all these items. You're not sure your gift for him of an engraved Rolex is enough.
With your hair and make up already done by the professionals, you slip into the outfit he arranged for you. You’re pulling up your phone to text him when his picture appears on the screen with a phone call.
“Babe, where are you?” You whine immediately. He chuckles.
“You’ll see soon. A car is coming to pick you up. Get in it and I’ll see you soon.”
“Oooo kidnapping! I like it.”
“What? No.” He laughs. “But the driver is named Jason. Check that before you get in.”
Jason does indeed pick you up in front of your condo ten minutes later. You chat while threading through California traffic. Eventually, you get to the beach. The sun is starting to set over the ocean, finding an angle that releases the relentless, summer heat. You’re dropped off in front of an expensive seafood restaurant with gorgeous ocean views. Their patio is usually stacked, but tonight it’s set only for two.
You slowly walk in. The indoor part of the restaurant is busy.
“Hi, I’m meeting Adrian Kempe.” The host eyes sparkle excitedly.
“Mrs. Kempe! We have been waiting for you.”
“Oh great.”
She leads you outside to where one table is set up. Adrian is out there, leaning against the railing overlooking the beach. He turns when he hears the door, grinning at you and only you. His hair is pulled back into a bun, just how you like it. He’s wearing a white, t-shirt button down, leaving his tattoos exposed for you to run your fingers along after a few glasses of wine.
“You look just as beautiful as a year ago.” He murmurs, leaning down to capture your lips. “Hi. I missed you all day.” He holds your hand as he admires the outfit he picked for you. It looks better than he could have dreamed on your curves.
“Me too. You’re the one who sent me away.” You remind him. Your hands grip the muscles of his back as you sway together for a moment. His lips rest against your head, breathing in the scent of your hair products.
“Was it worth it?”
“Yes. It was amazing. Thank you.”
“Good. You deserve all of that and more.” He leans away to grab you a glass of champagne. You take a small sip after a clink of your glasses in a cheers.  “To us. Forever.”
“Forever.” You agree, tilting your face up for another soft kiss. His hand at the small of your back presses you deeper. You lose a bit of your footing with his insistence of pressing you deeper into him.
“Sorry.” He murmurs. “Want you closer than that.”
“Am I going to have to sit on your lap during dinner?”
“Yeah and feed me like a baby bird.” He chuckles, kissing your cheek.
After you both finish your first glass of champagne, you grab another then sit down to start munching on your meal. You start with oysters and shrimp ceviche then move into a light salad with butter lettuce and a lemony dressing. You two take turns feeding bites from each others forks, leaning shoulders into each other and stealing kisses as the waiter takes your starter plates away.
“Thank you.” You murmur, then kiss your husband’s lips again. The privacy on the balcony along with the champagne is making you fee loose. “I hope we can recreate other parts of this night together.”
“There is more at home when we are done.”
“Yeah?”
“Mhm. Champagne… candles… bubbles in a bath tub… chocolate covered strawberries….” He nibbles on the side of your throat as he says that. You let your head fall towards his, gripping his necklace under his shirt for some grounding. He’s recreating your honeymoon too and you hope what happened in that bed then repeats tonight.
Another glass of champagne is gone. Multiple courses begin to filter to the table including pasta, sushi rolls, crispy okra, and a ribeye with a decadent truffle butter sauce. You share everything, but are both too full to consider any dessert.
“I have something sweet at home for when we want it.” He assures you when you feel guilty about saying no to chocolate gelato. “How about another glass of champagne though?”
“Yes!” You wiggle against him as he pours you both another round.
A recognizable, soft jazz beat begins to play in the outdoor speakers.
Some day, when I’m awfully low… when the world is cold… I will feel a glow just thinking of you.
Your gaze meets his and you feel yourself tear up, remembering the soft steps of your first dance. It was such a hectic night, but all the noise faded when this song played. Adrian had held you so close, lips on your ear the whole time, signing the lyrics to you as you rested your head on his shoulder.
“Dance with me?” He murmurs, kissing along your knuckles hanging off his shoulder. His lips hover on the large wedding rings he gave to you. Their imprint stays in his lips for an additional moment when he pulls away.
“I would love to.” You set your glass on the table and let him lead you to an open area of the patio. He pulls you flush with him, just like he did a year ago, whispering into your ear how incredibly beautiful you are. Then he sings along with Michael Bublé.
“Lovely, never ever change. Keep that breathless charm, won’t you please arrange it? Cause I love you. Just the way you look tonight.” His European accent muddles the words a bit as he sings, making you fall for him again. You pull away, eyebrows pulled low in tender love for your sweet man.
"Baby." You murmur into his neck. "This is too much. I didn't get-“
"You are worth all of this. I'm so happy. Our life together is better than I could have imagined it being even on our wedding day. I want to spoil you."
“You have. This was all so unexpected and so sweet. I love you.”
“I love you too. Happy anniversary.”
The first pop of fireworks surprises you as they fly off from the beach into the ocean. Adrian hugs you tighter so you know you are safe against his chest. You tilt your head up to the sky, watching the next one burst in gold across the inky, black sky.
“Oh my god!” You exclaim. At your wedding, you had wanted to have fireworks, but the dry weather conditions made it a last minute cancellation from the venue. “You got me our fireworks.” Adrian had tried so hard to get them to reconsider because he knew how much you wanted them with sparklers for your guests.
“I told you I would. Sorry they are a year late.”
“No, it’s perfect.” You admit as he transitions behind you, pressing your back to his front so you can watch together. Both your hands fold together over your stomach, admiring the glittering booms he arranged just for you.
It’s late when you get home. But you two are not tired. There is a glow coming from under your bedroom door as you walk down the hall with him. He pushes the door open from behind you, showing you an oasis of candles, soft music, rose petals complimented by a chilled bottle of champagne on the nightstand.
“I should carry you over the threshold. We never did that last year.”
“Yeah you were too desperate.”
“Me? You were too.” He laughs, swooping you up. “You ripped the buttons off my shirt.” He brings you into the room.
“Still not sorry about it either.” He sets you down on your feet and you look back at him as he unzips your dress.
“Who is breaking into our house and doing these things for us?”
“Don’t worry about it. They’re gone.” He murmurs against your shoulder. He unhooks your small straps from your shoulders, letting the whole dress pool down at your feet. A groan sounds at the sight of your lacy butt cheeks pressing against his zipper. You rub your booty into him more, creating a hardening there. He reaches up to cup your bare breasts, holding them and stroking their tips into hard peaks. You melt into him.
“Bath?”
“Mhm.” You nod. He leads you forward, wanting to feel you brushing against his lap with each step.
You begin to strip him down in the bathroom. His shirt falls to the floor. You lean forward to kiss along his chest to his shoulder where you sink your teeth into him playfully. He chuckles, showing his straight teeth as you work on his belt next. His bottoms fall to the floor as his fingers hook in your panties, working them down your legs. He kisses his way back up your body, then offers you his hand to step into the tub. You both sink in, skin buzzing from the warmth and the night. You both want each other, desperately, but it’s going to be so worth the little bit of wait.
“I have one last surprise for you.” He says as smooths bubbles across your arm. He points to his tattoo sleeve. Nestled inside the ripples of roses on his right bicep is your first name with his last, the infinity symbol, and the date of your anniversary. You run your finger tips over it, feeling the raised lines of the fresh ink.
“Babe. I love that. And you more than I can put into words right now. Tonight has been… unbelievable.” You sigh, leaning further back. “How is this all real? How are you real?”
“I constantly want to pinch myself that you’re mine.” He whispers. “So many times you could have left. This is not an easy life you have chosen.”
“No, but you make it easy.” You answer honestly. “If this was with anyone else, it would be so hard. But we have an amazing relationship. One I thought only existed in teen fairytales. I’m proud of us. I know we can handle anything as long as it is me and you.”
“Now to start planning next year….”
“Oh my god.” You laugh, shaking your head at the thought.
“Maybe no champagne tho…” He trails off. You turn to look at him, knowing this man aches for his baby in you.
“I would be okay with that.” You admit. He grins, leaning forward to seal the deal with a kiss.

Save the Date
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Heatwave and Heavy Metalikka cordially request demand the pleasure of your company at their wedding ceremony on November 9th at 1:40 P.M.
Be there...or else.
For @calciumcryptid since I said I would write about the HeavyHeat wedding (and as an apology for spamming your inbox)
Tumblr media
"How ya feeling, Mick?"
"Ten feet tall, Len."
Mick smiled at himself in the mirror. Wearing a nice black suit surrounded by flames, his signature heat gun tucked away in his holster. Even though today was a joyous day, Mick had to remind everyone he was still a rogue.
"I'm proud of ya. You found you a pretty lady and now yer gonna marry her." Len put his hand on the taller man's shoulder. Despite their occasional fighting, Len was happy for his fellow criminal.
If someone told Roxy that she'd be feeling like a schoolgirl on her first date during her wedding day, she'd looked at them crazy.
Irina snapped a picture while Lisa did some retouches on Roxy's makeup. None of it got too messed up since they just came back from running a little "errand".
"Save some for the actual ceremony, Rina," Lisa giggled.
"Sorry it's just...I never thought I'd see the day." Irina set her camera down to adjust Roxy's veil. She was the first between the Bad Girls, her and Roxy's group, to be married. Why wouldn't she be overjoyed that her best friend was getting married?
"Me neither. Took a while but I'm here," Roxy gloated. She had boyfriends and fiances in the past but those didn't end up making it to an altar. Not that she needed to fret about getting married at her age; lots of women did.
Finally it was time for the reception. Nobody was surprised to see that Wally was the one officiating the future Rorys nuptials. It was a favor for Hartley. Everyone stood as they awaited the bride's entrance.
Mick felt like a kid in a candy store. Roxy was everything he wanted in a woman: fiery, villainous, brash. Things may have started out with her trying to kill him (because she thought he was a skinhead or undercover cop) but now they were almost inseparable.
"Where's Lisa and Irina?" Mark asked.
Sure enough, those two came strolling through the door with the biggest surprise yet: Barry Allen tied down to a rolling chair.
"Holy-! Is that Flash?"
"Yep! He's the guest of honor!"
Everyone laughed then quieted down when the music played. All eyes were on Roxy who walked through the doors, arm locked with her father and guitar slung across her back.
Mick teared up seeing his soon to be wife. She looked absolutely stunning. "So damn gorgeous." He wiped his tears. As for Roxy, her heart skipped a beat seeing her eventual husband in his suit.
The two held hands as Wally read out his script. Mick was too caught up in Roxy's beauty to notice she was wearing the jewelry he stole for her.
"Welcome, everyone. We are gathered here today to join Heatwave and Heavy Metalikka in holy matrimony. The rings please?"
Mick exchanged rings and vows first.
"Firecracker, you changed my life in ways I never thought of. Before you, I thought my only love was fire. Then you came here, on that day we first met, and proved me wrong. I'll admit I stood no chance the moment I saw you swing that guitar and take down all those cops without any help. You are the queen whom I wholly devote myself to."
Roxy teared up. "All my life, I've always felt that if I liked a guy, I'd pursue him the same way he would me. That was, until I met you. Mickey, you were so relentless in your pursuit of me that it threw me off at times. You never stopped trying to win my love or my heart. And for that I love you and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
Cheers and applaused erupted when the couple kissed. Money was thrown as Roxy and Mick walked down the aisle together.
Everyone was on their best behavior up until Roxy's parents left. Roxy made sure they didn't leave anything behind so the real debauchery could begin while Irina made sure they left for good. Once the coast was clear, Roxy gave Mick the signal.
"Alright! Let's get drunk!"
The rest of the night was full of heavy metal, drinking, and tormenting Barry by using him for their party games. It felt more like a college party than a wedding. Maybe that was the intention since many of the rogues didn't or couldn't go. Roxy changed into a more promiscuous outfit that included a red tulle skirt and fishnets that had Mick blushing seeing her in it.
"Ready?" Roxy held the bouquet ready to throw.
"Do it, girl!" Lisa cheered.
Soon as the flowers (which were fire lilies) went up in the air, Mick set fire to them. Some rogues moved to get as much ash on them as possible in the hopes of being the next to get married.
Afterwards Roxy and Hartley put on the concert. Surprisingly her guitar and his flute went together perfectly. Who needed to hire a band when the two most musical rogues were the band? Special guests were Hartley's many rats.
"Drink, drink, drink!"
Mick poured some beer on Roxy's stomach. At the right amount he drank it right off her. His wife smiled the whole time, cheering when he drank it all. Of course she got the chance to do the same to him and was rewarded with a kiss until her teeth ached.
"Don't get too drunk, Mickey. We still need to get to our wedding gifts." Roxy rested her head on his shoulder. His body was warm--great for the cold Midwestern November. "And we still have our wedding night."
"Those are my second and third favorite parts." Mick cupped her chin and gave her another kiss before announcing it was time for the gifts. Unsurprisingly Len was up first.
"Congrats, you two. And Roxy, welcome to the rogues." He set a small box with a red ribbon in front of them. Inside were a set of matching lighters.
"Lenny, this is perfect!" Mick tested the lighters out by lighting cigarettes for him and his wife. Everyone else's gifts were just as good; ranging from a new grill (gifted by Sam) to a whole motorcycle (from Irina).
Lisa handed Roxy a check; same way Roxy used to do when she was living with the former skater. "Here. Consider it your dowry."
Roxy smiled and gave her the biggest hug. "It'll be good use for me and Mickey's honeymoon."
"Speaking of which, where you two going? Is Mick still keeping it a surprise?"
"He is but I have a feeling I know where," Roxy whispered. "Sandals resort."
Lisa nodded, impressed at the location Mick picked. Knowing him, though, he'd probably just stay on the beach while Roxy got in the water.
Latet that night, Roxy and Mick settled down after an exciting day. Despite their plans of a more romantic way to wind down the evening together, they decided to wait until they got to the resort.
"Had fun, firecracker?" Mick asked, running his hand up Roxy's side.
"Hell yeah I did. It's gonna be even more fun during our honeymoon. Speaking of which, you got that grilling hat packed?"
"You know it. Tomorrow I'll wear it just for you."
Roxy felt like a lovesick schoolgirl. Was this the married woman feeling her mom described?
"G'night, Roxanne. I love you."
"I love you too, Mick."
