Shit morning. Very very shitty morning. The rest of the day better not suck or I swear to fuck I'm gonna riot

#CW blood #cw periods #don't read further if you don't wanna read about me describing my bloody morning #so I knew I had my period right? it's day 3 #and I went to bed last night without pants bc they weren't fitting right bc of the bloating #thank you body #as per usual I tossed and turned all night and when I woke up I felt it #I felt the mess #on my thighs and on the bed and I did not wanna get up bc that meant dealing with it #and I did not wanna deal with it (I knew I would have to but I didn't wanna)#it was SO MUCB WORSE than I thought #the bed was a mess and the blood was halfway down my thighs and ain't my stomach and the pad was so thoroughly soaked thru #it couldn't hold anything more even if I wanted it to #I ran to the bathroom and stripped and cleaned myself as best as I could #and then I had to soak my underwear and wash my blankets (cold water folx not hot)#(cold water prevents stains in this specific instance)#anyways my morning was shit and now I have extra laundry to try and fit in before work and oh yeah I still have work today too #it's file tho so just taking down and putting up tags #and I'm off tomorrow so I can stay in bed most of the day and not have to deal with bullshit #I need to yeet the uterus... I can't keep doing this... I shouldn't wake up to messes this bad multiple times a year #I can't say monthly bc I don't always bleed monthly #and my husband and I have talked and there's some decisions we have to make #he said he'll support me and he understands that this isn't normal or okay #and he told me he only wanted to do pregnancy bc I wanted to do pregnancy and idk anymore y'all. I don't know...#is keeping my uterus for another potentially five years worth it? I know the answer is no #god I fucking hate this can someone please just rip it out for me and save me the decision making? pretty please?#personal

Got inspired by @obsessingoverthesillies to do a build of my Lord Protector's room in the castle :) the vampire game pack came in especially handy but I used some modded content too

This is what I do instead of working on my fic

^overview of the bedroom from the front and the back

^close up of the sitting/music area and the computer desk (cause i gotta have my gaming set up)

^close up of the door to the balcony and the bookshelves/secret doors to the bathroom and closet

^the balcony

^the bathroom (the toilet is behind the divider you can't see it good)

^the staircase from the closet and the coffin room it leads too

^a bonus concept for Rollo's room in the castle. It's pretty small and plain but I imagine he wouldn't spend much time there anyway. Also yes I downloaded that drum kit mod just for him 🥰

oh my god i'm just realizing i left the build mode grid in ugh screw it i'm not retaking these

#i'm not a huge fan of the window in the bathroom but it was one of the only stained glass mods i could find #and that was the style that fit the best #but i did put a little easter egg of my dog in there somewhere if you can find it hehe #OH MY GOD I FORGOT TO ADD A DOG BED #anyway #i really love the vanishing print on that wall paper #and i wish i knew how to take better screenshots but oh well #game of vampires: twilight sun #sims 4 build #rollo (twilight sun)

#I also keep seeing modern au aubrey-maturin art #that makes me wish I could draw and thereby contribute #unfortunately I can't even *write* modern aus generally. but I like transferring character dynamics from place to place in my brain #and I feel like I could do a university AU very nicely if I could do AUs at all #because I have had rowers in my class with as far as I could tell jack's exact personality #(unfortunately it has to be a US university AU because (a) that's what I know and (b) afaik nobody else does randomly assigned roommates)#(and I cannot pass up the opportunity for randomly assigned roommates.#OR RATHER #for 'you seem more or less human - quick let's request each other so we don't have to go into potluck'#I think that works best)#(but maybe they are both international students anyway. that works fine. & therefore extremely alarmed by potluck [can't say they're wrong]#sophie is a sorority girl. english major I think. and I can see her so clearly #(she's the part I want to draw)#she's not that into the high-octane social schedule her sorority expects her to have #but her pushy mother was a member and it is Unthinkable that sophie should not be #and a lot of the other girls are sweet :) so it's fine :) she says #feel like she has roommate issues (unlike her original self she is able to live away from mrs williams so this makes up for that)#so she's always over in jack and stephen's room. people who know her tangentially sometimes gossip about which one she's actually dating #(at that particular moment it is actually neither of them she's just hanging out with stephen)#diana freed from the shackles of 19th century womanhood creates even more and weirder drama than in canon #idk I just want to see the plot of post captain played out over text message #don't ask me HOW idk HOW i just want it #stephen is a biology major/pre-med obvs. if he can survive organic chemistry #jack is some kind of engineering major. I think he'd enjoy that with the math. diana has changed her major 7 times #(I don't know whether to put jack in rotc. I don't think it Actually actually fits - he's in the navy in canon because he's in the navy #not bc he's Inevitably Military In All Worlds. he would not want to do that if he didn't get to sail #but at the same time I find it hard to picture him not belonging to Discipline somehow.#it's more than a disinterested passion for cleanliness that drives him to wash stephen's mug for him that has had coffee and ramen in it #(and NOT in that order)#in the bathroom sink

i dont wnt to touch that post about how queer media gets scrutinized far more than het media because on one hand that is true but on the other hand....... queer media SHOULD be scrutinized a degree more /IF/ its marketed as QUEER, DIVERSE media for QUEERS while simultaneously absolutely refusing to even BREATHE in the direction of transgender and lesbian women.

#i know this isnt the point of that post but some food for thought.#ironically thus far the BEST lesbo book ive read was written by a het man and it was not even mentioned to have a dyke protag who #pisses on the floor of bathrooms because shes yucky and nasty and fumbles the hot bitches so hard because she sucks but was so fun to read #whereas all the queer books ive read thus far (excluding gideon) didnt have a single lesbian let alone a trans woman. they hardly had WOMEN #a day in the life of steeve #queers keep saying 'fine ill write my OWN diverse fantasy'. and then don't add a single character who doesnt fit their individual identity.
