These are just some of the questions being asked to me. But, nope! I don’t wear false lashes in everyday (unless I am attending some sort of occasion like wedding, etc. --- I’m forced to wear one). I, not to brag, was born with natural long, thick lashes. Like, my siblings as well. Mascara is one of my favorite products! I looove playing with my lashes and I always go with the saying, “The more mascara, the better!”

 Mascara is a cosmetic commonly used to enhance the eyelashes. It may darken, thicken, lengthen, and/or define the eyelashes. We are always looking for a new and perfect mascara, one the makes our lashes extra-long, thicker and fuller all without clumping or giving you dreaded panda eye by the end of the day. All mascaras are the same, just divided by waterproof or regular, so you can dip your favorite wand into any mascara and you will still love your look. But you know who does the work so perfectly? Bottom lash wands can be used to curl and lengthen bottom lashes, but it also has many other uses. If you have smaller eyes, use it only on the outer lashes to make it look long and also use it vertically to make your sparse lashes look dense.

Vintage Beauty Tip Tuesday: Rag Curls- Part 1 Vintage hairstyling is not my strong suit. Trying to wrangle my naturally, uneven curl pattern into manageable, beautifully coifed updos, S-curls, and victory rolls was a pain in my a**!!! When I tried using curling irons, hot rollers, or any hot tool my curly hair wouldn’t hold and my hair would be flat at the snap of finger; much to my despair! Naturally, I had to find another way! After researching many different ways I found that wet sets worked best, but hated sleeping in pin curls or foam rollers. That’s when I came across rag curls!! It’s super easy and super cheap. All you need is an old t-shirt (or in my case my husbands old underwear), a pair of scissors, a wide tooth comb, and parting comb, as well as whatever products you put into your hair! Step 1. Cut your cloth into about 3 1/2 in strips. Make about 20. 2. Wash and condition your hair. Towel dry it once you’re out of the shower. 3. Once you’re out of the shower, comb your hair, and part your hair. 4.Once you’ve placed your part where you want it scrunch in whatever hair products you use (I recommend a texture spray, a volumising mousse, Moroccan oil, and a curl gel). 5.After this start sectioning your your hair. I cannot stress this enough, START WITH the bottom layer of hair, this will help combat frizz, as well as prevent trapping of other sections of hair. 6. Wrap the end of a section of hair around the rag. Once the end of the hair is wrapped take it between your index finger and thumb rolling up towards the scalp. Tie once you’ve reached where you want the curl to start. Depending on how tight or loose you want your waves depends on how big or small your sections of hair are and how tight you tie the rag. The smaller, and tighter the sections the tighter the curl will be. 7. Repeat with the rest of hair sections. Wait until hair is dry to take out.
