Herpes Ka Upchar
Tumblr media
Herpes is caused by an infection caused by the herpes simplex virus. It comes in two different types - herpes simplex virus-1 and herpes simplex virus-2. HSV-1 is known as oral herpes, and HSV-2 is known as genital herpes. Ulcers and blisters appear on the lips and in the genital area. Ulcers are very painful. This disease is sexually transmitted.
Herpes Ka Upchar Herpes may be asymptomatic, but relapses occur throughout life if a person becomes infected. The infection ranges from mild to severe. There is no cure for herpes, but some ayurvedic medications for Herpes Ka Ilaj, as offered by Bhagwati Ayurved, can help relieve symptoms.
Causes of herpes infection
Herpes occurs when person-to-person contact. This is a sexually transmitted disease that is transmitted through sexual contact. The most common entry points for the virus are the mouth, anus, penis, vagina, or urethra.
When blisters appear on one area of the body, the infection can spread to other areas.
Symptoms of herpes infection
Most people do not show symptoms. But if the symptoms appear, then they are as follows:
Painful ulcers in the genitals, buttocks, anus, and thighs;
Itching;
Burning when urinating;
Bumps in the groin;
vaginal discharge.
Stages of herpes infection
The infection proceeds in three different stages:
Primary stage- This is the first stage of the herpes infection that usually occurs 2-8 days after infection. Small and painful blisters appear, which are located in groups. The fluid inside the blisters is clear or whitish. When the blisters burst, they turn into open sores. At this stage, urination is often painful.
Latent stage- The absence of ulcers, blisters, etc., characterizes this stage. The herpes virus begins to penetrate the nerves.
Molting stage- At this stage, the herpes virus multiplies in the nerve endings. If the nerves are around fluid such as semen, vaginal fluid, etc., the virus enters the fluid and begins to multiply. The virus enters the liquid and begins to spread to other areas.
Prevention
By following some precautions, you can prevent infection with the herpes virus:
Avoid sexual contact with multiple partners;
Use protective equipment such as condoms, cervical caps, etc.;
Avoid oral sex;
Avoid kissing if you have sores in your mouth;
Observance of complete hygiene, for example, washing underwear in warm water and washing hands after touching the affected areas.
Diagnostics of herpes infection
The doctor will perform a thorough physical examination of the patient after understanding the signs and symptoms of the disease. He will also take the patient's family history. He may suggest some tests such as:
Blood analysis;
Diagnosis of fluid flowing from the wound.
Ayurvedic treatment for herpes
Some commonly recommended herbs in Ayurveda for herpes include neem, ashwagandha, amla, and turmeric. It's important to note that the effectiveness of these remedies has not been scientifically proven, and some may even be harmful if taken in large quantities or in combination with other medications. If you suspect that you have herpes or any other medical condition, it's essential to consult a healthcare professional for diagnosis and treatment. They can recommend appropriate Herpes Ka Upchar based on your needs and medical history.

Herpes Simplex Ayurvedic Treatment
Ayurveda for Herpes Treatment: A Natural Approach to Managing Symptoms
Tumblr media
Genital herpes and herpes simplex are two sexually transmitted infections caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). While there are antiviral medications available to manage the symptoms of these infections, many people turn to Ayurveda for a more natural approach to treatment which is based on the principle that each individual has a unique constitution, known as their dosha, which influences their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Ayurvedic treatment aims to restore balance to the body and mind by using a combination of herbs, diet, lifestyle changes, and other natural remedies.
When it comes to finding the best provider of Herpes Simplex Ayurvedic Treatment, Bhagwati Ayurved is a top choice offering a wide range of Ayurvedic remedies for managing genital herpes and herpes simplex, including herbal supplements, essential oils, and topical creams. All of their products are made from high-quality natural ingredients and are formulated by Ayurvedic experts to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Here are some reasons why Ayurveda may be a good choice for managing genital herpes and herpes simplex:
Holistic approach
Ayurveda takes a holistic approach to health, which means it considers the whole person, not just their symptoms. This approach is particularly important when treating chronic conditions like genital herpes and herpes simplex, which can have a significant impact on a person’s quality of life. Ayurvedic practitioners will consider the patient's dosha, as well as their diet, lifestyle, and emotional well-being, when designing a treatment plan.
Natural remedies
Herpes Simplex Ayurvedic Treatment often involves the use of natural remedies, such as herbs and essential oils. These remedies can help to boost the immune system, reduce inflammation, and relieve symptoms like itching and pain. Some commonly used herbs in Ayurveda for treating herpes include neem, turmeric, licorice root, and ashwagandha.
Diet and lifestyle changes
Ayurvedic practitioners may also recommend dietary and lifestyle changes to support the body’s natural healing processes. For example, they may recommend a diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables and low in processed foods, as well as regular exercise, meditation, and other stress-reducing activities. These changes can help to strengthen the immune system and reduce the frequency and severity of herpes outbreaks.
Personalized treatment
One of the key principles of Ayurveda is that each person is unique and requires personalized treatment. This is especially important when treating a condition like genital herpes or herpes simplex, as the severity and frequency of outbreaks can vary widely between individuals. Ayurvedic practitioners will work with the patient to develop a treatment plan that takes into account their individual dosha, symptoms, and lifestyle.
Safe and non-invasive
Genital Herpes Ayurvedic Treatment is generally considered safe and non-invasive. Unlike antiviral medications, which can have side effects, Ayurvedic remedies are natural and generally well-tolerated. However, it is important to consult with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before starting any new treatment, as some remedies may interact with other medications or medical conditions.
In conclusion, Ayurveda can be a good choice for managing genital herpes and herpes simplex, especially for those who prefer a natural approach to treatment. By taking a holistic approach that addresses the whole person, Ayurveda can help to reduce the frequency and severity of outbreaks, relieve symptoms, and improve overall well-being. However, it is important to work with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner to develop a personalized treatment plan that is safe and effective.

Understanding Cold Sores: Causes and Treatment
Cold sores are a common viral infection that affects millions of people worldwide. They are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV-1) and can be painful and embarrassing. In this article, we'll explore the causes of cold sores and the various treatment options available.
What are Cold Sores?
A different name for cold sore is called a fever blister. They are small, fluid-filled blisters that typically appear on or around the lips. They are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV-1) and are highly contagious. Once you've been infected with the virus, it can remain dormant in your body and reactivate at any time, causing cold sores to reappear.
Causes of Cold Sores
Cold sores are most commonly caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV-1), although they can also be caused by HSV-2, which is typically associated with genital herpes. The cold sore meaning can be misinterpreted by many as a non-infectious disease. The virus is spread through close contact, such as kissing or sharing utensils and can be transmitted even when there are no visible symptoms.
While anyone can develop cold sores, certain factors can increase your risk, including:
A weakened immune system
Hormonal changes, such as those that occur during menstruation
Stress or fatigue
Exposure to sunlight or cold weather
Treatment for Cold Sores
While there is no specific cure for cold sores, several treatment options are available to help manage symptoms and speed up the healing process. These include:
Over-the-counter creams and ointments, such as docosanol or acyclovir, which can help reduce pain and swelling.
Prescription antiviral medications can help shorten the duration of a cold sore outbreak.
Home remedies, such as applying a cold, damp cloth to the affected area or taking L-lysine supplements, which have been shown to reduce the frequency of cold sore outbreaks.
Preventing Cold Sores
Since there is no definitive cold sore treatment in this world, the best way to prevent cold sores is to avoid close contact with anyone with an active outbreak. You should also avoid sharing utensils, towels, or other personal items with someone who has a cold sore. Additionally, practising good hygiene, such as washing your hands frequently, can help reduce your risk of infection.
In conclusion, cold sores can be a painful and embarrassing condition, but several treatment options are available to help manage symptoms and speed up the healing process. By understanding the causes of cold sores and taking steps to prevent infection, you can help reduce your risk of developing this common viral infection.

Absolutely, get ready for BABIES. The oldest foster we have right now is Lazarus who we got when he was 3 months old from a hoarding case. He had an extremely bad case of herpes that almost killed him and it turns out he has a really bad immune system so he's always getting sick. He's about 8 months old now and he's sort of a long term foster because he currently has FIP and treatment requires one shot every day for 80 days minimum. The meds are a bit expensive so shameless plug but if anyone wants to help us pay for the meds my wife's ko-fi is here
Tumblr media
Here he is the day we brought Lazarus home ^
Tumblr media
And here he is now! His FIP treatment is going very well so far ^ Our second oldest are Penny and Kazoo. We got Penny when she was 5 weeks old from a guy whose dog brought her home in his mouth (she was fine the dog was gentle.) We got Kazoo when he was 10 days old from some dudes in the next town over who didn't have time to bottlefeed a newborn. Kazoo is 2 weeks older than Penny and they became best friends!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
10 day old Kazoo and 5 week old Penny ^
Tumblr media
Kazoo and Penny now ^
Tumblr media
Kazoo and Penny at an adoption event ^ We're having a hard time finding them a home because we refuse to split up bonded pairs
Tumblr media
Penny playing in the tub lol ^ Next are a batch of kittens we got from an irresponsible breeder who was fine with letting kittens get sick and starve to death. We originally only got 2 of them when they were 3 days old (breeder let mom cat get sick and die because she didn't want to pay for vet care and tried to pawn the babies off on the other nursing moms and it didn't work out) and they were born premature so they had a lot of health problems. They had rhinovirus and coccidia and the little brown kitten had an umbilical hernia that then became septic and THEN she started getting big pockets of infection in random places like under her chin and in her toes? But we managed to get them healthy and fat and thriving. My wife was able to convince the breeder to give us the remaining kittens 3 days ago and they're half the size of our first two because they've been sick and slowly starving this entire time (they're now 5 weeks old). They're still really sick and have Poop Liquid Until You Die disease so it's not fun on our end but we're working hard on getting them fat and healthy. They don't really have official names but we've been calling them Zoosmell Pooplord, Insufferable Prick, Flighty Broad, Farmstink Butlass, and Huss lol
Tumblr media
The first two nuggets ^
Tumblr media
They were sooooooo small ^
Tumblr media
Finally fat and healthy at 3 weeks old! ^
Tumblr media
The full litter now at 5 and a half weeks old ^
Tumblr media
Comparison pic ^. Right kitten is the nugget we've had since he was 3 days old and left kitten is his brother who the breeder just now let us take. It's hard to tell with the fluff but he's borderline skeletal :( Next is a 3 month old kitten that a foster brought to an adoption event who was very clearly sick. Skinny and lethargic with a bad coccidia infection so we took him home that day 1.5 weeks ago and also sent the foster person home with some medicine to fix the coccidia in their other kittens. We've been calling him Christmas Tree Boy cause he's always got a poofy tail or Poop Boy because he hates sharing litter boxes and keeps pooping in random corners 😒 Didn't take long to get him healthy so this weekend he's getting yeeted into another adoption event and whoever adopts him needs to give special attention to his Litter Box Needs
Tumblr media
^ He's very cute and loves playing with our other fosters but for the love of god we are TIRED of his Poop Surprises Someone who adopted a bonded trio from us a few months ago is returning them to us tomorrow because their fiance is allergic, so as of tomorrow we will have 12 fosters in our house. Sounds like a lot but we've had 30+ foster kittens crammed in here at the same time so it's a breath of fresh air in comparison💀
Edit: Not a foster kitten but honorable mention to my new betta who I named Gemini because You Know Why
Tumblr media
He has a 5 gallon tank all to himself but I don't have a pic of him in it cause he's shy and he hides lol but it's the one behind the cup. Aiming to give him live plants soon

what got you into breeding reptiles? especially for the species that you have available!
Sorry for taking me a bit to get back to you! I mainly use tumblr from mobile and if I don't answer asks immediately when I see them I tend to forget ;-;
When I was in my late teens I got REALLY into aquatics and had a ton of tanks set up. I was going through a lot of medical treatment at the time and had a good bit of time on my hands. Started dabbling a bit in breeding fish / aquatic inverts after I had a few successful spawns in community tanks. I worked as an aquarist / in commercial fish breeding and sales for a large private aquarium / LFS in my early 20s! But anyway, there's a lot of overlap between the aquarium & reptile hobbies and although I had a few amphibians (African clawed frogs mostly) growing up I don't really count them as my first herps- when I was 18 I got my first REAL reptile and got hooked on keeping them pretty quickly. He's actually still around! It's Jojo my poor old man leopard gecko. He's got to be... hm.. 15 or so? He was an adult when I got him so he's at the very least 14-15. Maybe older. Who knows! Still doing great and as grumpy as ever.
I started breeding reptiles slowly, I bred my first pair of leos in 2015 and only produced 3 hatchlings since I had to work out the kinks of egg husbandry and some issues with my first incubator. I'm glad I started slow! It really helped me to gain experience at a healthy pace and gave me time to work on building a solid reputation / get used to selling and working with reptile customers. I don't actually remember when I got my first snake? I have major time blindness so I would have to look back into my records but it was maybe a year or so after getting Jojo. Snakes initially intimidated me more than geckos but after gaining some confidence they definitely became my main obsession. I love to research and learn so it's been a fun journey for me. I started keeping with very "typical" beginner snakes but eventually found myself interested in more uncommon species that really do deserve more hype in the hobby! I was initially not going to attempt species like those due to their size and typical temperaments because of my lack of confidence with larger snakes!
I'm rambly today but ANYWHO. As for the species I have available currently (western hognoses, leopard geckos, and mexican pinesnakes) I love keeping and producing them for a lot of reasons!
Hognoses are SO much fun! They have so much big snake personality squashed into a teeny tiny body. They can be a bit of a pain to get started but are (honestly) pretty damn hardy too. Their venom is a bit of a turn off especially for parents with young children but I do still think they make great pets for a lot of beginning and advanced keepers alike!
Leopard geckos are what I consider the absolute BEST first reptile for most hobbyists! They're so hardy (almost to a detriment at points), usually have really personable little attitudes, and you can play around a lot with how you setup their cages and interact with them. They also are a great stepping stone for learning basic reptile husbandry.
And then we have Mexican pinesnakes! They were a dream species of mine for SO long and I felt so fortunate to be able to start working with them in 2017. They're incredibly intelligent, interactive, and confident snakes and I just love them to pieces. They have attitude, and let you know how they feel about things but the adults are typically very mellow and easy to work with after building a relationship with them. They're easy feeders, but do have a few quirks with regards to husbandry and feeding that could make them challenging for a first time snake owner. They also take a very long time compared to most other north american colubrids to hit maturity AND start out as "ugly ducklings" before gaining their brilliant colors so I sometimes just need to gush about them a bit because they definitely deserve to be more popular in the hobby than they are currently.
Sorry for the long post! Hope that answers your questions though~

Chapter 4: Medical Esthetic Procedure Contraindications
So you’re considering getting some medical esthetic procedures done. That’s hot! But before you schedule an appointment or consultation here’s a quick guide of contraindications to be aware of!!
Tumblr media
What is a Contraindication?
A contraindication is a condition we look for in the medical field that serves as a reason to not continue forward with a medical treatment due to potential harm the treatment may cause to a patient!
Laser Hair Removal:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Herpes and Cold Sores: Can you get laser hair removal with herpes or cold sores? Yes! But only if there is not an active breakout. We do warn the clients that the lasers we use are powerful enough to cause a herpes or cold sore breakout to occur so please proceed with caution!
Retinol: Use of Retinol’s are a huge no no! It can cause severe damage, burning or scaring if a laser is used! If you are on Retinol please stay off of it for 1 week before your laser hair removal procedure.
Seizures + Epilepsy: If you have a history of epilepsy please refrain from getting any laser or light treatment as it can induce seizures.
Bacterial Skin Infections: Infections can spread to other parts of the body if a laser is used.
Impetigo: This highly contagious superficial skin infection is something we as your medical esthetician should be aware of before continuing with treatment.
Cellulitis: This infection of the dermis and subcutaneous tissue should be cleared before you continue with any laser or light therapy.
Folliculitis: Laser treatments are not performed in areas of folliculitis but several hair removal lasers have been approved by the FDA for pseudofolliculitis barbae treatment.
Fungal Infections: Ringworm and Yeast Infections can not be treated with laser or light therapy until cleared.
Viral Infections: Active viruses are considered major contraindications for laser and light therapy.
Shingles: If there is an active outbreak laser treatment will not be used.
Common Skin Warts (HPV): Although some lasers are used to remove persistent warts, they are still considered contraindications.
Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema): You will not be disqualified as a candidate for laser treatment, unless the outbreak is in an area of proposed treatment.
Open Lesions, Rashes and Sunburns: This includes open lesions from picking at the skin. Any unknown lesions or rashes will be considered contraindications. Sunburns are known to disrupt the skin barrier and are considered contraindications. Any suspicious lesions should always be evaluated by a physician prior to treatment.
Accutane: You must be off of Accutane for at least six months to a year, depending on a physician’s preference prior to treatment with laser or light therapy.
Immediate Post-Operative Face Lift, Blepharoplasty or Neck Lift: Treatment is avoided for clients who are in post op from these treatments until a physician has given approval for laser or light treatment.
Pregnancy and Lactation: Pregnancy and lactation are considered contraindications women who are pregnant or lactating, should wait after pregnancy + breastfeeding so a child will not be exposed before beginning or continuing laser or light treatment.
Laser Tattoo Removal:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Laser tattoo removal shares the same contraindications as laser hair removal.
Red Tattoo Ink: Red tattoo ink is known to be allergenic. If you have experienced an allergic reaction to red tattoo ink, be aware that another allergic reaction may occur if a red ink tattoo is being removed by laser.
Retinol + Accutane
Pregnancy and Lactation
Bacterial Infections
Viral Infections
Fungal Infections
History of Epilepsy or Seizures
Open Skin Lesions, Sunburns and Rashes
Microneedling:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Herpes + Coldsores: Please wait until an outbreak is fully healed! Estheticians can avoid microneedling the mouth area if you do have an outbreak but it is best to wait until the outbreak is fully healed to avoid any spreading.
Active Acne: Areas of active acne can be skipped over but if there is an all over outbreak it is best to wait.
Rosacea: Clients with vascular rosacea can receive treatment, but not pustular or nodular rosacea wait until the information has settled.
Atopy, Asthma, Hay Fever and Allergies: Any patient with a history of allergies maybe prone to urticaria, after needling due to the release of histamines.
Anticoagulants: Any supplements, known to prolong, bleeding time, may not necessarily be discontinued from treatment, but the risk of bruising increases.
Drugs and Supplements Associated with Photosensitivity: Any drug and supplement that can cause photosensitivity including Accutane is considered a contraindication.
Fitzpatrick III and Above: Those with darker skin tones are not disqualified from treatment but it should be known that skin will appear puffy, bruising, if present might be visible in thin skinned areas and erythema (skin redness) when super-imposed on brown, appears much darker. Patience with melasma or post. Inflammatory hyperpigmentation must understand that lesions will appear darker for several months before improving.
PSA: There are certain ingredients to avoid using when it comes to dermal needling. Ingredients to avoid include preservatives, fragrances, emulsifiers, emollient acids, dyes, coloring agents, and UV filters
Before receiving a dermal needling treatment, you may be asked by your provider about allergy or medication, history, blood pressure/medication, bleeding disorders, eczema, psoriasis, immune system disorders, keloid, scarring, major illnesses, heart conditions, anemia and a lot of other general medical questions.
Body Contouring
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pregnancy and Breast-Feeding
HIV/AIDS
All forms of Cancer
Undergoing Chemotherapy
Immunodeficiency
Lupus
High Blood Pressure
Uncontrolled Diabetes
Keloid Scarring
Excessive Pigmentation
Vein Inflammation
Steroid Medication
Chemical Peels + Laser Resurfacing
Sunburn
Recent Surgery or Scars: Wait 6 months
Open Lesions, Skin Diseases, Inflammation, Varicose Veins, Infection, Metal Implants, Metal Screws, Metal Contraceptive Coil + Prothesis/Silicone Implants: Area will be avoided
Antibiotics: Must wait until completed medication course
Depilatory Creams: Wait 2 weeks
IPL or Laser Treatment: Area that received laser or light therapy must wait 2 weeks before receiving body contouring.
Areas with Botox: Wait 3 months before receiving body contouring.
Areas with Dermal Filler: Wait 2 weeks before receiving body contouring.
Sun Tan: Will be avoided
Chronic Inflammation: Speak with your healthcare provider before proceeding forward with a body contouring treatment.
PSA: Before receiving body contouring, your hydration levels will be checked your body must be 40% or higher for your hydration level. Hydration levels below 40% can cause cat like scratch sensations when receiving body contouring. Which is why low levels of hydration are considered a contraindication and you must wait until your hydration levels are at 40% before receiving treatment.

dear mr.horsepussy,
I caught chlamydia from this 19 year old wannabe bi sexual. I'm pretty sure it was him bc the last 2 guys I let raw me were clean and I foolishly assumed just bc he was deflowered a weeks ago, he wouldn't have anything and now peeing hurts. at least I got doxycycline for the treatment but I'm scared that I might have something else that the urgent care clinic I went to wouldn't have the means to test for (they just test for trich, gonorrhea and chlamydia) my hoe hubris has come, do you have any words of advice???
Uh ok. I'm not the best example in this area. I never paid attention to any of this and I like had AIDS and diabetes and herpes and shit for who knows how many years until I almost died on the couch cuz I never once went to a regular doctor. I always went to Emergency Rooms and then skipped out on the bill for decades. I don't think you can do that anymore cuz hospitals send everything to collections now and I don't think they do VD shit unless it's like monkey pox making your dick fall off. You think you got any of the Heps or Aids, I'd seek out Planned Parenthood or maybe an Aids charity and they know where to direct you on the cheap and preferably anonymous so the local health department doesn't fuck with you. I'm sure a private diagnostic lab could run a panel if you are rich or have insurance.
Again I'm not the best person to dole out health advice so don't sue me if something falls off. Good luck!

A problem I've noticed with writers who come up with fictional diseases is that they often get so focused on what they want the end product of the disease to be (especially when it's some zombie/hyperviolent/apocalyptic scenario) that they forget what things like viruses, bacteria, and fungi are even about.
To wit: they're about making more of themselves in the most straightforward way possible.
They're not malevolent; they don't want to make people suffer or die or any of that shit. They're just doing what they know how to do, and while misery and death are definitely possible products of their behavior, they're also prone to causing symptoms that are less deadly for most of the populace and more embarrassing, gross, and/or mildly debilitating.
I'm not saying that if what your story really needs is a murdervirus, then you absolutely must change it to something else for the sake of "realism" - if a disease is what you need, then a disease you must have (although I do sometimes wish a writer had considered other alternatives). What I'm suggesting is that, when coming up with your fictional disease, you can give it a lot of verisimilitude by keeping in mind that most real life diseases are not simply harmful, but really really weird.
Colds make you produce way too much of the mucus your body normally uses to protect your airways and keep out allergens. Stomach bugs over-activate a mechanism in your body that's meant to protect you from ingested poisons, and does absolutely nothing to help you when the source of your problem is a virus. Herpes viruses sit dormant in your skin doing absolutely nothing until the stars align and they can make sores once again in an attempt to infect someone else. And sure, that last one is metal as fuck - but just to balance it out, keep in mind that's the behavior of one of the more harmless viruses in circulation. Like, your biggest danger from herpes is if you get a bacterial infection in the sores.
Also, when it comes to high mortality rates, writers just tend to shoot way too high. "This disease killed off 99% of the population!" Cool, it just wiped out its entire host base and is on the fast track to extinction. Even the Black Death in its heyday never managed those kind of numbers, and it had about the best chances that any disease is ever going to get.
So yeah. Diseases that are written 100% around their narrative purpose (unless the purpose itself is weird; I've seen some stellar plague stories that just go buck wild) tend to feel two-dimensional and edgy. A little weirdness can help with that.
Another brainworm I've noticed in many of these kinds of stories is that the disease is often written as if it poses more of a threat to the non-infected than the people who actually have it. While any disease carries with it the fear of being infected, the greatest harm caused by any real plague is to the people who actually catch it, and not simply from the threat of sickness and/or death. The bubonic plague, for example, causes painful sores and tissue necrosis to its victims while they are living - something that people can still experience if they contract the disease, and even though it is much easier to receive treatment and survive, permanent loss of tissue is something they will live with for the rest of their days. Likewise, the COVID-19 virus - while brutal and deadly even as an acute infection - is not only horrifying and miserable to have, it carries the added risk of saddling survivors with chronic illness that they may never recover from.
And yet, far from empathizing with the victims of their fictional disease, many writers choose to treat them as plot devices to menace their main characters - who are typically part of that magic minority that is immune to the disease, catches it but survives it with no serious repercussions, or has simply had the skill and luck to avoid it this far. Obviously the people who are dead from the virus are, well, dead - but when it comes to current sufferers, or the concept of survivors living with some kind of chronic aftereffect, many writers seemingly fail to recognize that this is a possible perspective that they could explore.
Which, this isn't just slipshod writing, it's incredibly privileged and specifically ableist, because it goes beyond the practical necessity of writing about people who are still alive and acts as though the only people worth writing about, and in the long term caring about, are not only alive but not being directly affected by the biggest baddest plot device in the story.
So yeah. Bit of a rant there, and now I think I should plug Pontypool Changes Everything, a fantastic book about an apocalyptic plague that does none of the shit I just mentioned and is incredibly bizarre to boot. That's all for now.

While the West tends to think of the skeleton as a machine that carries the rest of the body, which sometimes seizes up and wears out over time, Ayurveda thinks of the skeleton as fully part of the organism. This is why its management goes through food, massages, or plants. Nothing esoteric there; it's even quite the opposite! For example, when we gain too much weight, we inevitably weigh more heavily on our knees, and if we spend all our time tapping on a computer keyboard, the fingers end up suffering. By correcting the situation with Ayurveda, we straighten our shoulders; we take care of our skeleton and everything around it!
Protect your joints with Ayurveda the alarm clock rings: you open your eyes and straighten up to get out of bed. But things won't be so easy… You painfully place your foot on the ground with the impression of “creaking” throughout your body; your joints are painful. You already know that the day is likely to be painful. It's probably time to take care of your skeleton!
Ayurveda has developed both care and prevention techniques to take care of your joints from an early age because they always end up being noticed. When buying the best Ayurvedic Medicine of Joint Pain, Bhagwati Ayurved is widely recognized as the best company in the market, offering high-quality products at the best prices. Let’s explore more about Ayurvedic treatment for joint pain.
The appearance of your joints according to your dosha
Vata has a light, delicate frame. Her hips and shoulders are narrow. His joints are prominent and lean, and his musculature is light.
Pitta has a medium frame, well-proportioned joints, and firm musculature.
Kepha has broad shoulders and hips. His joints are large, well-formed, and lubricated. His muscles are solid.
Ayurvedic massage, care, and prevention
If the first writings on massage date back to 3000 BC and come from China. Ancient this practice would have appeared for the first time in India 6000 years ago. Integrated into Ayurveda, it helps regulate the doshas (or energies) in the body!
Stimulating the Immune System and Promoting Pain-Free Growth
In India, from the birth of a baby, his parents massage him every day. This massage, also called Shantala, will stimulate his immune system, help him go through the phases of growth without pain, and get him used to preserving his body.
Massage is practiced simply and must be part of the ritual of daily care, in the same way as a toilet or teeth brushing. People who suffer from joint pain or work on the computer all day will especially appreciate a finger massage. Take each finger in your other hand and use your thumb to press firmly on it first and then below.
Alleviating Discomfort and Increasing Circulation
A pleasant side effect of the massage: the contact with the skin, associated with the light pressure exerted on the body, stimulates certain hormones, particularly oxytocin, secreted by the pituitary gland, which is known to bring joy, satisfaction, and love. Protecting your joints is essential to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. With Ayurveda, an ancient Indian practice, you can manage joint pain and prevent future problems by incorporating food, massages, and natural remedies into your routine. By incorporating ayurvedic Medicine of Joint Pain into your daily routine along with Ayurvedic oil massage, you can take care of your skeleton, reduce joint pain, and enjoy a healthier, happier life.

2. Matches! (My nails are very brittle so I can't use disposable lighters which are commonly used in Korea. But I can use automatic refillable lighters like Zippo. I have stash of matchboxes I collected in a cookie tin.)
3. Only during summer.
4. I don't really 'believe' in things that cannot be proven until reliable evidence is found. (Like religions for example) but I wouldn't mind if these kind of things were real. I like animals and would be interested in domesticating or documenting them.
5. Dark Brown.
6. Because I was on the verge of my sanity :)
7. I prefer metal hair clips, but often use scrunchies at home so it's loose and comfy.
8. None.
9. Depends on the weather. But usually I enjoy iced beverages more.
10. I'd love to :)
11. Art, Instruments, Cooking/Baking I think? I don't know the exact variants there are.
12. Sick day, as always.
13. Had a small serving of fish&seaweed porridge for dinner. I had late lunch so I wasn't really hungry.
14. If it's forest, yes. Faint smell of refreshing essence from the leaves right before/after the rain is relaxing.
15. No. But I raised my Borderline Intellectual Functioning+Bipolar sister instead of my abusive parents for over 10 years since I was underage. Also I have a cat that I raised since they were born.
16. No. My psychiatrist recommends refraining from that kind of activity until my severe symptoms of C-PTSD(Agoraphobia with panic attack) are reduced.
17. Nearsighted. I inherited autoimmune DNA from my parents and my abusive mother infected me with herpes virus when I was a child. So I became half-blind at age 12.
18. Lemon flavor shampoo, treatment for dry hair, and I apply no-wash waterpack before drying.
19. I'm not interested in painting mine because it's impractical for house work, but I don't mind painting others'.
20. Soda. But 'carbonated drink' is more common term in Korea.
21. Burning Hatred and Vengeance against humanity :)
22. Introvert, old man stuck in a child's body, too patient for my own good.
23. Love it. I wish it was all winter during the entire year in Korea. I hate humid, bug-infested summer.
24. Stargazing and drinking cocoa. And idle chatting.
25. Gender neutral perfume. (My favorite is Calvin Klein) and I HATE lotions. It feels so sticky and gross on my skin.
26. My abusive father chasing 7 year old me with a kitchen knife, running through the apartment hallways.
27. 6 hours usually. 3-4 hours in bad days, 9 hours in good days.
28. Always. I have low immunity than average people and it's a must during COVID-19 pandemic. Also it helps breathing a bit comfortably in public with chronic bronchitis. (Because of some people illegally smoking in streets)
29. Warm. Not too hot.
30. Does a teacup set count? I keep them on shelves as a decoration when I'm not using them.
31. Ones with relatable lyrics(nihilistic/suicidal). Spiteful, murderous, aggressive sentences spoken in soft, whispery, dreamy voices.
32. Freshly laundered, sun-dried towels are the best. Newly purchased ones too.
33. Does a lucid dream count? I can't do outdoor activities because of my bad condition. I dream about travelling the world instead.
34. Most of them. I have a good echoic memory. (Tails&Inverness-Skeleton, Phoebe Ryan-Mine, Purity Ring-Sea Castle/Begin Again, Undream-Backfire, Lights-Quiet, Circus-P-Karma, almost all Mili songs, etc)

36. Once.
37. No. But I've known my fiance(or fiancee? Idk we're both nonbinary) for 5 years since we were both underage. And my cat for 9 years. I consider both of them as my only and true family.
38. I don't have any hard soap bar at home at the moment(it's all liquid), but I want to make one myself when I have time. Preferably made with herbs and flowers I grew.
39. Sometimes. When it's too dry or when I'm feeling anxious. (I have bad habit of biting my lips until I bleed without realizing)
40. I made 1.5L of chocolate milk. (Because my sister is addicted to sweet dairy food and I have to make them in bulks in case she eats it all in one sitting) and had 1-2 small cups of it with coffee during the day.
41. With milk. I don't like Americano. It tastes bland and watered down.
42. KakaoTalk. It's one of the most commonly used app in Korea.
43. I like spicy 'flavor'. Not the 'taste'.(hot, painful sensation) I don't like Korean Cheongyang Chili Peppers and love whole black peppers.
44. My entire blood family and relatives. World is better off without them. If I have to pick just one, then my biological father. I'll take my time torturing him and slowly stab him with a rusty kitchen knife starting from limbs to the stomach, chest, neck. And I'll be talking to him during the process. Asking how does it feel like to be so helpless, afraid, and hated for what he has done. And I'll tell him that he deserves every second of it. When he's dead, I'll cut off his head and turn it into a taxidermied trophy. And proudly hang it up on my wall. Rest of the body can be left alone and eaten by maggots. Then rot away into nothing but a bloody stain on the floor.
45. Well, duh.
46. I'm not sure. I've never experienced watching films in holidays(or doing anything other than being forced to cook for others like a slave in general). I don't even have a TV to this day.
47. I told my boss I have a good news about that I'm going to kick my sister out of my house this year and I'll be able to focus on the job soon. (He knows the details of my past and psychotic break incidents my sister caused, and was happy for me.)
48. I took a little sip of white wine I was using to cook out of curiosity when I was a teen, and my autoimmune body reacted very badly to it. I threw up immediately and my body began shaking, sweating. I felt hot and nauseous. And it tasted so bitter and awful. And my head hurt so much it felt like my skull was cracking. I had to rest until the remaining alchohol was out of my system with a raging headache, and was unable to sleep. And the migraine persisted for a week.
49. I don't know. I've never tried.
50. Of course.

Effective Herpes Pain Treatment: Find Relief Fast
Tumblr media
Understanding Herpes and Its Pain
Herpes is a viral infection that affects millions of people worldwide. It causes painful sores, usually on the mouth or genitals. The pain associated with herpes can range from mild discomfort to severe, debilitating pain.
If you’re dealing with herpes-related pain, finding effective relief is crucial. Fortunately, herpes pain treatment in Indore offers various options that can help you manage and alleviate the discomfort.
Types of Herpes Pain
Acute Pain: This occurs during an active outbreak and is characterized by burning, itching, and sharp pains around the affected area.
Post-Herpetic Neuralgia: A more severe form of pain that persists even after the herpes sores have healed. It can last for weeks, months, or even longer, making everyday activities challenging.
Why Seek Professional Help?
Pain Management Specialist in Indore: Consulting a pain management specialist in Indore can provide you with the specialized care you need. These experts understand the complexities of herpes-related pain and can tailor treatments to your specific condition.
Comprehensive Care: A specialist will evaluate your pain, consider your medical history, and suggest a combination of treatments that offer the most effective relief. This ensures you receive the best possible care for your condition.
Treatment Options for Herpes Pain
Antiviral Medications: The first line of defense against herpes pain is antiviral medication. Drugs like acyclovir, valacyclovir, and famciclovir can reduce the severity and duration of an outbreak, thereby reducing pain.
Pain Relievers: Over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen and acetaminophen can help manage mild to moderate pain. For more severe pain, a pain management specialist in Indore may prescribe stronger medications, such as opioids or nerve pain medications like gabapentin.
Topical Treatments: Creams and ointments containing lidocaine or benzocaine can provide localized relief from burning and itching. These are applied directly to the sores to numb the area and reduce discomfort.
Home Remedies: Applying cold compresses to the affected area can help reduce swelling and numb the pain. Additionally, keeping the area clean and dry can prevent further irritation.
Advanced Pain Management Techniques
Nerve Blocks: For patients with severe and persistent pain, a pain management specialist in Indore might recommend nerve blocks. This procedure involves injecting a local anesthetic near the affected nerves to block pain signals from reaching the brain.
TENS Therapy: Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) uses low-voltage electrical currents to stimulate nerves and reduce pain. It’s a non-invasive option that can be particularly effective for post-herpetic neuralgia.
Lifestyle Adjustments and Preventive Measures
Stress Management: Stress can trigger herpes outbreaks, which is why managing stress is crucial. Techniques like yoga, meditation, and deep breathing exercises can help reduce stress levels.
Healthy Diet: A diet rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants can boost your immune system and help your body fight the herpes virus. Foods high in lysine, such as yogurt, cheese, and fish, are particularly beneficial.
Regular Exercise: Physical activity helps improve blood circulation and reduce stress, both of which are important in managing herpes pain.
Why Choose Herpes Pain Treatment ?
Expert Care: Indore offers access to some of the best pain management specialists in Indore, who provide advanced and compassionate care tailored to your needs.
Comprehensive Treatment Plans: Whether you’re dealing with acute pain during an outbreak or chronic pain after healing, the comprehensive herpes pain treatment in Indore can help you find relief fast.

Best Laser Skin Treatment in Delhi: Top Skin Treatment Clinics to Consider
Tumblr media
How Does Laser Skin Treatment Work?
A dermatologist uses a laser to target the skin during a cosmetic procedure called laser skin treatment. The laser removes the outer cells of the dermis, the skin’s second layer, and the epidermis, the skin’s top layer.
The process functions by promoting the development of new skin cells and the synthesis of collagen, the structural protein of the skin. Best Laser Skin Treatment in Delhi can make the skin appear plumper because they stimulate the synthesis of new collagen, which the body can’t produce as we age.
The following conditions may present less prominently after laser skin treatment:
Age spots
Scars, acne-related among them
Wrinkles and fine lines
Warts
Certain kinds of birthmarks
Big pores
Sun-related harm
The Top Skin Treatment clinics in Delhi apply a wide variety of lasers to the skin. The two most popular kinds are erbium lasers, which eliminate wrinkles and fine lines, and carbon dioxide lasers, which remove scars, wrinkles, and warts.
What Outcomes Might one Anticipate from Laser Skin Treatment?
Just after laser skin treatment, the skin may be inflamed and uncomfortable, which may continue for a few days. Additionally, there will be a one-year increase in susceptibility to UV rays. People usually notice, nevertheless, that the skin looks plumper when it grows back. Less obvious are wrinkles, age spots, and poor skin.
The skin could appear more hydrated, softer, or smoother. While laser skin therapy cannot replicate the effects of a facelift, it can enhance the surface of the skin by lessening the appearance of:
Lines
Age-related spots
Illness
Damage
After treatment, the skin’s look can keep getting better for up to a year.
As far as concerns like scars are concerned, the results of laser skin treatment are permanent. A particular scar will never reappear after it is removed.
Who is Eligible for Skin Laser Treatment?
For individuals seeking significant skin surface improvements, laser skin therapy is an excellent option. It isn’t a wise choice for everyone, though. This comprises those who:
Possess a lot of skin or deep wrinkles
Have active herpes; are you taking oral isotretinoin?
Possess skin diseases such as psoriasis or scleroderma
Had a chemical peel recently
Nonetheless, the effects of the outward manifestations of aging are temporary. After treatment, most people remark that their skin looks younger for a few years, but as they age, the signs of aging will reappear.
Conclusion
The method by which Best Laser Skin Treatment in Delhi stimulates the development of new collagen and skin cells is by eliminating the skin’s outer layers. Among other things, it can lessen the visibility of wrinkles, age spots, scars, and sun damage. Like with any cosmetic operation, it’s critical to select a qualified, experienced healthcare provider, request before-and-after images, and learn about the advantages and disadvantages of the procedure. When a person uses laser treatment to repair scars, the results can be permanent for most people and last for several years.
