10 Shows That Should Be Added to Disney Plus
Disney Plus is a goldmine for all things Disney. They’ve got almost every animated film, all the Star Wars films, Marvel, Disney Junior cartoons, old 50’s shows, and more. I was excited to check out all the old Disney Channel Original Series from days past to sadly discover they only go back to 2000.
There are some really great 80’s and 90’s shows that are missing from Disney Plus. That’s two decades of material sadly not included in the streaming service. Here are 10 that should be added.
10. The Torkelsons
Tumblr media
The Torkelsons was a family sitcom about an Oklahoman woman, whose husband has just left her and her five children. The show depicts her trying to survive financially while raising her kids. Her oldest daughter Dorothy Jane talks to the “man in the moon” like a diary. The second season saw the family move to the West Coast where they moved in with an upper middle class family. It featured a pre-famous Brittany Murphy, Jared Leto, and Ben Affleck.
9. The Famous Jett Jackson
Tumblr media
The Famous Jett Jackson came out in the late 90’s, just before Even Stevens. It was about a famous teen movie star who moves back into his small hometown to be a regular kid. It was one of the Disney Channel’s first original series and it was a big hit. It had its own original TV movie and Beyoncé even made a guest appearance. Tragically, its star Lee Thompson Young committed suicide in 2013. I wonder if that’s the reason it wasn’t included in the streaming service.
8. Welcome to Pooh Corner
Tumblr media
This was one the Disney Channel’s first preschool programs in the 80’s. It featured a narrator telling various adventures of Winnie the Pooh and his friends. All the characters were played by real people in costumes. I’ll admit, the costumes are a little creepy by today’s standards. But the theme song and soothing voice of the narrator are worth it.
7. Ready or Not
Tumblr media
This wasn’t an original Disney series, but was picked up from Canada and aired on the Disney Channel throughout the 90’s. It was about two best friends and their life from sixth to ninth grades. It dealt with so many issues still relevant today in real, thoughtful ways. It’s still one of the best children’s shows to air throughout the channel’s history.
6. Adventures in Wonderland
Tumblr media
This was a live action show about Alice and her daily adventures when she steps through her looking glass/mirror. There were cheery songs, dances, cheesy jokes, and life lessons. Every character was played by an actor in makeup and costume, including the White Rabbit, Mad Hare, and Catepillar. The Catepillar was especially creepy, but it was a fun show.
5. In a Heartbeat
Tumblr media
This show has unfortunately been forgotten by too many. It’s such a shame because it was really great. Inspired by real teens, it was about a group of teenage EMTs as they balance high school and saving lives after school. It was like ER for kids. It was Disney’s first and last attempt at a drama series that aired in 2000. Unfortunately it only lasted one season, and Disney shifted to sticking to teen comedies.
4. Ocean Girl
Tumblr media
Ocean Girl was acquired by the Disney Channel from Australia and aired for several years in the 90’s. It’s about a girl who lives on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean. She can swim at great depths holding her breath for long periods of time without any apparatus. It’s a little cheesy, but it was so good. It had elements of fantasy, sci-fi, suspense, romance, and comedy. It also taught about the importance of protecting and preserving the ocean. It would be great if Disney could somehow get the rights to this show and stream it again.
3. Kids Incorporated
Tumblr media
Kids Incorporated aired on the Disney Channel from 1986 to 1994. It was about a group of kid performers who would sing and dance onstage at a club after school. All the kids did their own singing and were crazy talented. Several of them went on to become big stars, like Fergie, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Mario Lopez (pre-A.C. Slater).
2. The All-New Mickey Mouse Club (MMC)
Tumblr media
The show that started the careers of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, JC Chasez, and Keri Russell. Ever wonder why Justin Timberlake was so good in all his SNL appearances? This is why. MMC was a variety show that ran from 1989 to 1994. All the kids acted in comedy sketches and sang and danced to popular songs in front of a live audience. They also recorded their own music videos and had a spin-off show for teens. It featured regular celebrity guests including TLC, Boyz II Men, New Kids On the Block, Jodie Sweetin, Tia and Tamera Mowry, and so many more. This show is a pot of gold and Disney’s just sitting on it. They already put up the 50’s version. Now Disney needs to do some digging and put the 90’s version back up pronto!
1. Flash Forward
Tumblr media
I cannot believe Flash Forward isn’t on Disney Plus! It was the Disney Channel’s first original series. It was about two best friends and next door neighbors (Ben Foster and Jewel Staite) as they go through junior high. Ryan Gosling also appeared in a couple episodes. It’s a fun, hilarious, and very sweet show. I am seriously waiting for Disney Plus to stream this. If they’re going to add Even Stevens and The Proud Family, they need to add this one too. It’s too good to miss!

Choosing the Best Spare Tire Trash Bag for Your Jeep
The Trasharoo is by a long shot the most well known Spare Tire Trash Bag Carrier available. We have been running one for almost two years and feel we have enough miles and time utilizing it to give it a legitimate survey. Save tire refuse transporters are pretty straightforward items. Basically they lash to your extra tire or back end giving you snappy admittance to a pack with a few advantageous pockets just as a huge compartment region where you can put your junk while outdoors and overlanding.
Tumblr media
Trasharoo Review
At the point when we initially picked our own up we went on it now and again between outings. We keep our apparatus outside and with cold frigid winters and sweltering summers here in Utah we felt it would enable the Trasharoo to last more. Anyway we immediately discovered this to be somewhat bulky and for as long as year and a half we have had the Trasharoo on our Jeep full-time. So far the Trasharoo has held up incredibly well. The dark has begun to blur and the zippers could utilize a little TLC to assist them with opening and close simpler as they have been presented to a ton of soil out on the path. The pack is made of 900 denier canva and is intended to work with customary 30 gallon garbage sacks and can hold up to 50lbs. It has channel openings at the base creation it simple to clean following seven days of holding trash. Checkout our comparison chart with Best spare tire trash bags https://myoffroadgear.com/best-spare-tire-trash-and-gear-storage-bag-review/.
Plus
Brilliant useful plan that is anything but difficult to utilize and exceptionally helpful
Exceptionally reasonable contrasted with different alternatives available
Strong form quality
Conveys up to 50lbs (we have utilized it to convey more than that multiple occasions)
Minus
Could profit by more pockets
Work pocket wears decently fast
Clasps and lashes wear with warmth and sun introduction
No real way to separate enormous focus control zone
Contenders?
In the course of recent years various organizations have brought to advertise their own version of the extra tire rubbish transporter. Most remarkably the all around planned and quality manufactured transporters from The Overland Gear Guy and Blue Ridge Overland Gear. While we have not ran both of these full-time we have seen and taken care of them and doubtlessly they are worked from predominant materials and excellent quality. Generally speaking their greatest disadvantage is the expense in contrast with the Trasharoo. In both of those occasions they are almost multiple times the expense of the Trasharoo.
Would it be a good idea for you to Get One?
We enthusiastically suggest the Trasharoo. It is a cheap method to keep junk, messy diapers and other trash out of the apparatus yet contained in a mindful way. We love utilizing it to convey wet rigging from swimming in mountain lakes or when the children end up sloppy while outdoors. As Jeep proprietors we will in general add a great deal of pack to our Jeep that might possibly get a ton of utilization. Anyway we have discovered that the Trasharoo is one of the things we utilize the most. Get one today on Amazon.

Yuuri and phichit find out one of the hams died. (Maybe a small drabble if you want?)
((I still have a first kiss drabble in here, I don’t know what I want to do with it.))
((Also, I should clarify. The ask before, I answered in the present, meaning Flo is not around anymore, but the other two are. This drabble is taking place while in college in Detroit, so  it’s in the passed. So all three are around, until now. Hope that’s not weird. ^_^ )) Under the cut because it got long.
Yuuri did one of two things when he reached the dorm after a long day. Head to his room, or head to the kitchen. With his backpack still hanging off his shoulders, he took a sharp left to the kitchen. He reheated some fries that were bound to be subpar, and ribs left over from a friend’s get together at a restaurant. That night, they spent too much money, and had a lot to drink. Despite their bad decisions, they let loose and have fun, which Phichit would call a successful night. Yuuri figuratively kicked himself when he looked down at his feet, shoes tracking who knows what into the kitchen. With a weary sigh, he lined his shoes up neatly at the door, and shed his backpack onto the floor in his room, setting it against the frame of his bed. Phichit was still in class, which left Yuuri to look as pathetic and downtrodden as he wanted, without the embodiment of rainbows shining so bright his worries melted away. Wasn’t a bad thing. Yuuri loved it. However a healthy dose of apathy never hurt. Yuuri placed his phone on the nightstand to charge, feeling around the side of his bed blindly for the cord. Ah. Yuuri’s wire was tearing at the junction to the charging apparatus, so he had let Phichit take it to show it some TLC. He entered Phichit’s room, a little hesitantly despite the insistence that Yuuri always had permission. Yuuri plugged his phone into Phichit's charger, lifting his head to the scurries of tiny bodies through soft bedding. They were usually asleep most of the day, so Yuuri leaned over the cage to greet whoever was awake. Yuuri laughed quietly to himself while Meemee rushed through tubes, watching her climb with nimble expertise. His eye was drawn to Flo and Fuuri, huddled together in a corner. Yuuri was far from an expert, but he had known these creatures for awhile, and… Flo looked uncharacteristically… Sad? The suspicion made him peer closer, and they did not stir. Flo was always the first to wake from a slumber if there was attention to be had. She opened her eyes, but made no move to greet him. Next to her lie Fuuri, named after himself. It was the universe’s cruel joke that the hamster the roommates picked together, and named after him had an overeating problem that required careful diet restrictions along with a specially recommended feed. He wasn’t eating. He wasn’t sleeping. He wasn’t breathing. Yuuri swallowed and tapped the cage behind the corner, in hopes to wake him up. Flo opened her eyes and closed them again, Fuuri didn’t move. Yuuri wasn’t supposed to open the cage as to Phichit’s warnings, but he did anyway, just to make sure. With a soft clink, the door opened, and he reached his hand in slowly petting Fuuri softly. He was stiff. Quickly Yuuri drew his hand back, hurriedly ran to get his phone from the charger and called Phichit. At her chance for escape, Meemee immediately rushed the open cage door. Yuuri pinched the phone between his shoulder and ear and shut it, scolding her.
After two tries, Yuuri got Phichit at the other end of the line. Sure enough, Phichit got the go ahead to leave class and come back. The microwaved beeped eons ago, but Yuuri waited in Phichit’s room, until he came rushing in. “Phichit! I came in for your charger! And I don’t usually bother them because they’re asleep! But I heard them so I looked! And Flo looked funny, and I don’t know why! But she did and-”
Phichit turned, lifting his hand up, “Relax,” he said softly.
Yuuri clapped his mouth shut, and nodded. Phichit gave him the okay sign. A selfish idiot he was, freaking out while Phichit was calm about one of his pet’s dying. If he knew Phichit, which he did, the Thai kept a smile on regardless of what he felt, until the negativity became too much. Phichit was hurting, and Yuuri was making it worse. He did what he could do to help, and remained quiet and out of the way. Flo had sprung into action at Phichit talking to them, leaving Fuuri alone and immobile in the corner. Phichit removed him with care, closing the cage. Yuuri approached slowly, watching Phichit stroke the hamster’s head, cradling him in his palm, “Is… Is he…?” Phichit nodded, a visible tremble in his bottom lip that broke Yuuri’s heart. Yuuri found tears in his own eyes burning at the rim, “Phichit… I’m so sorry.” He didn’t know what to do other than call him, was that the right thing to do?
Swallowing his grief, his voice cracked into nothing more than a whisper, “It’s okay. Thank you calling me,” and then he looked at Yuuri.
The usual bright eyes, now glistening with impending tears of sadness. Now Yuuri was crying, “Remember when he ate the cucumber from my sushi roll?”
Phichit chuckled, sniffing, “Yeah, I don’t think he’s ever moved so fast.”
They both laughed, weak chuckles full of happy shared memories.
“You ready for a hike,” Phichit asked. Yuuri could only assume what that meant, regardless, he nodded. He smiled, abandoning his squishy fries and lukewarm ribs in the microwave, still beeping for his attention.
After a string of beautiful goodbyes at home, where the other two could be present in sending their companion to the great beyond, they set out on the trail a short drive away from campus, tall trees and rocks littering the dirt. Depsite what the rules said, the two ventured off the trail into the woods, just slightly. Phichit and Yuuri dug a hole with some rocks, then setting the thin Amazon box containing Fuuri was set into the ground. Yuuri offered to cover it, while Phichit said a few words.
“Fuuri was our dorm baby. We picked him out together, and he was our son,” Phichit began, watching Yuuri pat the dirt down firmly, “I think Meemee picked on him a lot, because he was male and she wanted to be pack leader, and because he ate the food she stored. I think Meemee loved him as brother anyway, siblings fight, you know?” Yuuri nodded, and stood behind him, wrapping a comforting arm around his shoulders. “Fuuri was gentle and kind, he never bit unless your hands smelled like food,” Phichit’s voice caught and he sobbed quietly, placing a hand over Yuuri’s, softly patting his arm, “You took the best pictures, because your cheeks were always full.” Phichit paused, wiping tears from his eyes, “We should have made a slideshow,” he muttered sadly.
“Give me your phone,” Yuuri removed his arm from Phichit’s shoulder, taking the phone into his hands that Phichit willingly relinquished. He opened a folder dedicated to Fuuri, and set the pictures to show in a slideshow, and held it in front of them, “See?” Yuuri waited for Phichit’s reaction, growing more worried as moments passed and there wasn’t one. Finally, Phichit’s lip warbled and sad eyes looked up at Yuuri. That was when Phichit broke. His friend threw his arms around Yuuri’s torso, hugging him tightly, crying into his shirt. Yuuri returned the hug, patting his back softly.
“Your turn.”
“I think you said it all.”
Your turn,” Phichit insisted.
“Ok… Um,” they separated, and looked down at the burial site, “Fuuri was fun to hold, because he never ran away.” Phichit nodded in agreement. “I liked to give him snacks, because it made him like me. Even if you told me not to,” he smiled guiltily at Phichit.
“A dirty enabler.”
Yuuri chuckled, “Fuuri was a great hamster, and no one could replace him.”
“Beautiful,” Phichit sobbed, satisfied, “Now let’s go make Grape Bombs in his honor.”
So they did. Fuuri loved grapes. With a ridiculous amount of snacks as Fuuri would have wanted, and mixtures of grape vodka and Red Bull, they had long night of fun to honor their lost friend, never to be forgotten.

Best SSD Drives for Gameing
Putting an SSD in your PC is among the best upgrades you can make for your PC for general responsiveness and performance. Together with your OS and programs stored on an SSD, Windows boots quicker and match amounts load in a snap. What you have heard is true: once you have tried solid condition, you'll never return to a spinning plate.
Hardcore gamers may want multi-terabyte storage for archives and media libraries, but SSDs are getting big and cheap enough to finally replace older school hard disks. The greater requirement for NAND-based storage out of laptops and smartphones has created something of a NAND shortage, resulting in higher SSD prices, but as additional NAND manufacturing comes online, we should observe that trend reverse.
SSDs arrive in a variety of form factors, including the venerable 2.5-inch SATA drives, newer M.2 'gumstick' drives, and PCIe add-on boards. M.2 and also the PCIe interface blow away SATA bottleneck, and the speediest SSDs use NVMe to further enhance functionality, but they tend to carry a hefty price premium. (Note: you can find also M.two SATA drives, but don't bother since they're nevertheless SATA speeds.) Compared to great SATA drives, for many workloads, including matches, the benefits are pretty slim, but our very best NVMe SSDs manual has greater performance options.
For gambling, the best choice is a drive that combines functionality, capacity, and reliability at a price that will not make your wallet cry out in pain. That normally implies SATA drives, although some of the least expensive NVMe alternatives like Intel's 600p will also be worth a look. We have selected the very best SSD for gaming, based on the above criteria, using our very own performance results.
What exactly does the term 'best' mean, when speaking about a storage device? Very best value for money, excellent real-world performance, or a brilliant feature collection? The ideal SSD for a gaming PC strikes that ideal price/performance/reliability balance, and Samsung's 850 Evo SSD handles this, and then a few.
Samsung is the only SSD maker that operates a completely vertical business, owning the way of production for every single aspect of its products. It designs the controller, apps the firmware, manufactures the NAND flash memory, and sells the finished product. Every other company is forced to rely on a third party for at least one of those aspects of its SSDs. The advantage is closer cooperation between teams, resulting in better endurance, performance, and reliability.
Vital's MX300 SSDs were the first to follow Samsung's long lead with 3D NAND on SATA, created by the 850 Pro and its sibling 850 Evo, our entire top pick for SATA SSDs. While Samsung wields all sorts of benefits in manufacturing and research, Crucial's parent company Micron is no lightweight when it comes to technology either.
Rather than pursue rate, a hopeless cause now that ultrafast next-generation storage technology like M.2 and U.2 are taking hold, Vital is looking to replace the larger mechanical hard discs that most users still rely for storage and use in older apparatus.
The Ideal budget M.Two NVMe SSD Intel 600p 512GB Crucial is not the only SSD player in the marketplace using Micron's new 3D NAND procedure. Co-partner and 800 lb. Gorilla Intel has also waded into the fray, showcasing the 600p M.two drive utilizing the same battle strategy Vital is trying with the MX300 on SATA.
In cases like this, Intel is going a step further and creating the debate to ditch SATA along with the mechanical hard disk drive, skipping directly to the next-gen M.two NVMe port to access the same inexpensive Micron 3D NAND memory card. This makes a lot of feel for newer systems with empty M.2 slots, but don't bother with smaller 600p models as performance plummets in the event that you fall below the 512GB variant.
The best luxury SATA SSD Samsung 850 Guru 512GB Samsung holds the top place in another class for our very best SSDs, and with good reason. The Samsung 850 Pro is simply the quickest consumer SATA SSD money can buy. With the ongoing migration to M.two NVMe drives, it is unlikely to cede the throne. Three years later it first became available, no other SATA drive has managed to match its performance. But at what cost?
The 850 Pro was the primary consumer SSD to use V-NAND. Like the 850 Evo, the NAND flash memory is 40nm, with 32 vertical layers. However it doesn't use TLC NAND: everything is 2-bit MLC. There's no need for an SLC cache, which gives it a slightly higher partitioning capability, and slightly better performance in heavy compose situations. The cost results in a significantly higher retail cost than other SATA SSDs, but in the event that you can't use M.2 and need maximum functionality, this is the driveway to get.
In nearly all real-world scenarios, there is not a huge advantage to using a Samsung 850 Pro within a less costly SSD. It costs quite somewhat longer and that money is better spent on a faster GPU, a much better CPU, or much more system memory. Or, say, a 1TB SSD instead of a 500GB one. The 256GB 850 Pro costs more than many 480GB SSDs, and the 512GB model is slightly more expensive than funding 960GB SSDs.
If you're building the greatest rig and need the very best potential performance in almost any situation, never mind the price tag, you're better off investing in an NVMe SSD. About the only real benefit of the 850 Guru is the huge ten-year guarantee and intense endurance provided using all the 850 Pro. The 512GB driveway is graded for 300TB of writes, or around 82GB per day, daily, for ten years, which is definitely enough for workstation usage.

We utilize Windows 10 Pro installed on a Samsung 960 Evo since the boot drive, AHCI is empowered, and all drives are connected to the motherboard's SATA III ports (except NVMe drives, which use the second M.2 slot). We utilize a combination of artificial and follow benchmarks, in addition to real-world file copying. Including AS SSD, CrystalDiskMark, and PCMark 8.
This is when you're really hitting on the storage subsystem, needless to say. If you're not operating benchmarks, the real-world differences are hard to detect. However, in precisely the exact same test package, a fantastic hard drive scores around 10-15. Yeah, it's that big of a leap, and you absolutely will observe the gap between any contemporary SSD and an HDD.
The single specific advantage that makes an SSD much faster than a hard disk is access times that are orders of magnitude faster. A tough disk is dependent upon a mechanical arm going into position to read information out of a platter, whereas with an SSD, information is stored and accessed electronically. Although modern hard disks are surprisingly fast at obtaining data, they're no match for an SSD; the fastest HDD access times are still around 10ms, while any good SSD will usually have access times beneath 0.1ms.
An SSD is a physically simple apparatus. It is made from an array of flash memory chips and a controller, which includes a processor, memory cache, and firmware. However, like most things in computing, it begins to get complicated when you consider it in detail. NAND flash chips shop binary values as voltage differences in non-volatile memory, meaning that they retain their state when power is cut off. In order to modify the state of a single cell (ie writing for it), a strong voltage is required. But because of the way the cells are laid out, it can not be done on a cell-by-cell foundation: an whole row needs to be erased at once.
Each mobile is insulated from its neighbors to preserve the value it holds, however every time a cell is programmed, the insulator gets slightly less reliable. Eventually, after a certain amount of writes, the mobile becomes unable to hold any values, which is why SSDs have a limited lifespan. From the first days of flash memory, this limited number of writes proved to be an issue, but clever tricks, enhanced technologies, and applications improvements mean it is not a real problem.
A given quantity of bodily flash memory cells may be programmed to hold either one, two, or three bits of data. A driveway where each cell holds one bit is called SLC (Single-Level Mobile). Each cell can only be in one or two states, off or on, and just needs to be sensitive to two voltages. Its endurance and endurance will be incredible, but a large quantity of flash memory is needed to supply a given capacity, therefore SLC drives have never really taken off beyond expensive server and workstation setups.
2-bit MLC (Multi-Level Mobile) memory is currently the most popular type employed in consumer SSDs. Each cell holds two bits, with four binary states (00, 01, 10 and 11), so the cell has to be sensitive to four voltages. The same quantity of flash memory provides double the total amount of space as SLC, so less is needed and the SSD is less expensive.
3-bit TLC (Triple-Level Cell) memory goes even further, with three pieces per cell. Since each cell should differentiate between eight voltage values, reading them faithfully requires more accuracy, and tear and wear reduces the amount of write cycles. The plus side is that you get even more power from precisely the exact same amount of flash memory, resulting in even cheaper SSDs, which is something everyone wants.
Whenever you read about an SSD or look at a review, the first figure you will usually notice is a headline-grabbing transfer speed. Imagine write and read rates up to 550MB/sec, or even faster in the case of PCIe SSDs. These numbers always seem very remarkable, and it generally represents the best-case performance you'll see from a driveway. It normally entails large sequential file transfers, which means all of the blocks are laid out one after another and caching along with other advantages are in their peak.
In the actual world, most software programs handle both large and tiny files, and sometimes a program may be waiting for input until it carries on, so you'll rarely get the most sequential rate of your SSD. You might see these speeds when composing or reading a massive 10GB movie document, but items will be a lot slower when copying a folder full of 10,000 jpeg images, HTML files, or even a game directory.

Precision Heat Gun Selection and Use in Research Labs
Precision Heat Gun Selection and Use in Research Labs
A precision heat gun is similar in appearance to a standard hairdryer, but is operated and used in a vastly different manner. Both are constructed with a motor-driven fan that blows air over an electrically heated filament.  The heating element in a precision heat gun typically becomes red-hot during use. Industrial Heat guns operate at lower air speeds and produce temperature as high as 1200F, hot enough to melt some types of glass.
Industrial heat guns are frequently used in research labs to dry glassware, heat the upper parts of a distillation apparatus during distillation of high-boiling point materials, and to develop thin-layer chromatography (TLC) plates. Other applications for precision heat guns include:
Tumblr media
removing paint soldering curing epoxy resins removing ice accumulation heat shrink tubing application removing decals and stickers softening, molding and welding plastic materials accelerate evaporation
Basic precision heat guns have one heat setting and one fan speed and are designed primarily for paint stripping. More complicated models have two or three heat settings or variable adjustment within a range, together with a choice of two, three or variable speeds of air flow.
Tumblr media
Although precision heat guns can produce extreme heat and are often used in lieu of a gas blow torch, the lack of a visible flame can create a false sense of security. The power switches and fan motors are not usually spark-free and can pose a serious ignition hazard. For these reasons, industrial heat guns should never be used near flammable materials including open containers of flammable liquids, flammable vapors or hoods used to control flammable vapors.
While using a precision heat gun, the effective temperature of any industrial heat gun can be reduced by holding it further away from the surface; however, always maintain a minimum of 1 cm of clearance between the outlet nozzle and the work surface. Having a precision heat gun with variable settings gives more choice and is preferred. Correct heat and air speed settings, if available, are determined by the type of work and pace best suited for the safety of the operator.
Tumblr media
Do not use an extension cord to power a precision heat gun. Due to the high current draw, extension cords may overheat and pose a risk of a fire or electric shock. Never obstruct or cover the air inlet grills. If the air flow is reduced the precision heat gun will overheat and possible catch fire. Never operate the industrial heat gun with the outlet nozzle directly against a surface, this will reduce the air flow and can have the same effect as obstructing the air inlet grills.

Float fishing is a wonderful sport that is a little more simple than the traditional version of fishing. Unlike fishing with a weight on the seabed, where there is more emphasis on being static and fishing one particular area of seabed, float fishing offers a more dynamic approach where you can move around with simplicity and efficiency, with minimal gear and better catch rates. Welcome to the world of float fishing. Kids can partake easily and you can teach them this style in hours. It’s an easy inroad to beginners of all ages to the world of sea fishing.
Recently, I’ve been starting to do more float fishing on the Island of Anglesey using plastic lures. The fun that I’m having in fishing, has really gone back to childhood levels again.  It’s been more about the simplicity and the ease, rather than a very targeted approach to fishing I normally do.  I’ve been playing around recently with various different configurations of floats, ball weights, hook lengths,  and ultimately the soft plastic lures which I’m using. It’s been quite an amazing experience to go back to my childhood days in fishing, by removing all the large complicated amount of fishing apparatus, in order to catch fish. I urge you to do the same.
Put simply, float fishing is a very simple, but yet effective form of fishing for the beginner fishermen. However its not limited to beginners, I know any of the Welsh team who fish using floats in the summer for various species.
As we speak, it’s the summer in North Wales, and the summer months are best time of year for float fishing. I personally love the Pollock fishing, which occur during peak summer months in north west Wales. Pollock unlike bass are non migratory species and stay put on their favourite reefs during the year. Bass on the other hand, move around and frequent the British and Welsh water in the summer months.
But your not just limited to catching Bass and Pollack, you will also catch, ballan wrasse, corkwing wrasse, cuckoo wrasse, garfish, mackerel, rockling, herring and other fish that will dwell in the mid water column region. You can alternate the height your fishing to target each species, so don’t feel you are pinned to just fishing for the above, you will be surprised at what you can catch at various points in the water column.
As a child I began my fishing journey on Newry beach at Holyhead on the slip ways at the age of 7 using crabbing lines to catch rock gobies and blennies on size 3 hooks. I can remember it vividly, my dear mother would have to come with me, crabbing line in hand. This summer days fishing where what began my journey into the world of rod and line fishing.
  Fast and light fishing
You don’t need heavy amounts of fishing gear tackle, big heavy reels, heavy line and lots of lead weights to to go and be successful in in float fishing. For me, the reason I love  float fishing is the fact that it is very simple, very light  and I can move very quickly with the very little equipment. It’s the flexibility within the style of lure and float fishing that adds more of a dynamic feel to it, believe it or not, static seabed fishing is quite boring, unless you’re fishing for specific species such as Ray, Smooth hound or Tope. In those situations, where you are specifically targeting big fast aggressive species, bottom fishing can be very fun and the wait is worth it.
But its way more fun targeting fast moving more predatory fish such as Pollock, Bass and Coalfish. I like targeting  these predatory fish with plastic baits moving in aerated white water at rock marks. The takes on the lure are incredibly fast and aggressive and the response from the fish is far more powerful.
It also gives me an excuse to explore coastal rock marks, deep rock crevices valleys gullies in search of an area that holds fish. I put a thick sturdy pair of walking boots on.  Don my over the shoulder rucksack a light spinning rod, a bag full of lures, some floats, some weights, some fine wire Nordic bend hooks and them im off!
You can spend an incredibly peaceful and  joyful evening with the wind on your back, finding beautiful rock marks that you hadn’t explored before with the ultimate promise of bagging a 5 ld Pollock. I can remember many times as a young adult, fishing competitions on Anglesey with Holyhead Angling club, and people routinely catching 8-10 ld Pollock in the areas that I go to, not even float fishing I might add!.
So now turning my attention to this fast and light style of fishing  which I’m getting more and more interested in it. Float fishing holds quite a diverse opportunity for those willing to experiment and to step outside their comfort zones in the fishing world, and ultimately test new tactics and explore different variables, tackles and systems.
For so many years I’ve fished using the static bait and grip lead combination and I might add to great success.  But when the fish stocks in the Welsh waters, became depleted 15 years ago, it got really disheartening to put all the bait preparation, and spend some much time lovingly preparing all your rigs and your fishing equipment and to ultimately go many, many fishing sessions without catching. So after taking a five to six year break, I re entered fishing world, and started exploring bass fishing on the lure with my mentor Richard.
Richard taught me many new facets of fishing, especially bass fishing. In general, we also covered fly fishing, sea trout fishing, salmon fishing, and all these culminated in re-establishing a new status quo and understanding for different fish species and way for me to target them. I learnt that the lure when presented was the optimum and most effective method for fishing.
It opened up such a large new sector of the fishing world in my mind, that I somehow boxed off previously down to just routine and habit. I believe these days, I’m now becoming a more well rounded and versatile angler in the style of fishing that I that I implement. I’m really enjoying float fishing and bass fishing right now and it suits my lifestyle too. Some fly fishing and seabed fishing is also great fun on the side along with some boat fishing.
The best way to get the best results, is to amalgamate all these types of fishing styles collectively, It allows so much more flexibility, better catch success, and ultimately greater enjoyment and fulfilment as an angler.
I absolutely love bass fishing, and I’ve spent the past four seasons, maybe even five seasons, learning my craft, and it is an art, to say the least.  I’m also experimenting currently with fly fishing for migratory species such as sea trout plus mullet and bass. When the waters are clear Im also into doing a lot of spearfishing also as well.  So I hope you can see, I like to keep many options open, in the the area of fishing.
Why float fishing with a lure
One of the great positives about float fishing is that you do not need to gather your own bait. You can use many of these very sophisticated soft plastic lures, which have been coming onto the market. The use of soft plastic lures, takes a great deal of time, and also skill of bait collection out of the equation. If you’re not a great bait gatherer, then it opens up the possibilities for anglers that are less good gathering their own bait to be able to catch more fish, win win right?
This in turn gives them the opportunity to, to learn to fish with replica baits such as worms, shrimp and plastic fish. Lure fishing also presents us the opportunity to test various types of lures in different locations and learn what the fish are feeding and predating on.
All these points are for me why, lures add up to a fantastic level of speed, and flexibility to the style of fishing. I have a box of soft plastic lures in the garage, my rods ready, and at any  given time I can pick up my tackle and within 5 minutes, be out the door. Maybe 20 minutes, I can have my float in the water, fishing and catching within minutes. How cool is that?
20 minutes from home and I’m fishing ..
Whereas, if I was to have to go and gather my own bait such as prawn, worm or sandeel, I’d have to spend  two or three tides gathering the bait. Sandeels, worms and prawns all requite a lot of tlc to keep alive ready for the hook, this in turn take a lot of time energy to take care of. Bait storage is an art in itself, and for many people, this isn’t an option for people travelling up here fishing. I don’t even have the time to do all the bait gathering sometimes, so for people coming to fish here from away, they most certainly don’t, unless they buy it.
I firmly have got my roots planted in the Marine Biology world and I firmly love  the art of bait gathering, which is a fundamental skill as an Islander.  Having those skills at hand will serve me for life and you know hopefully I can impart and teach those to many people within the community and whatson and readers that enjoy reading about fishing.
  Tackle
How float fishing looks to me it’s quite simple I use a Savage Bushwacker seven foot six rod. I use a an Abu Soron 60 real backed with braid line. I run a standard high vis green float, with two beads at the side and a one ounce lead shot below down to a swivel.
And I have a three foot to five foot length of fluorocarbon hook line to fine wire hook which can vary in size from size one to size eight depending on the fish that I’m targeting and the size of lure I’m presenting. Lately, I’ve been testing, soft plastic worms mostly in my reintroduction to the float fishing world. With some good success I might add.
It seems Pollock really enjoy and take quite quickly to soft plastic lures, when presented on a float for some reasons. I use a drop of 15 to 20 foot drop from the floats to the actual to the hook, how I decide on the level of a depth in which I’m fishing depends on the location that I’m at, and I simply use an elastic band tide and doubled over a certain point in the braid line to prevent the float float going up any higher up the line.
  Water cloumb
This is key to some of the fishing as they feed at a certain heights and levels in the water, sometimes you might catch them on the way down as soon as you flick your float out and its sinking to the bottom. Other times you’ll have to fish at different levels, say the “mid water coloumn” and this is a key skill to understand and learn that at various heights in the water that different fish are present.
Don’t always fish in the exact depth of the water column that you’re fishing time after time, instead alternate and move up and down the various layers in the water columns, using (timing & counting)  measuring, take note where you get bites and nibbles, snags and catches.
Often when I’m Mackerel fishing and if I’m using a one or two ounce weight, I will count down how many seconds it takes to get to the seabed. Whenever I’m retrieving in. I will keep  a mental note as to where in the water column level I caught the fish and then retarget them at that level on the next cast.
When to fish on the lure
One of the biggest questions I get all the time is when should I go lure or float fishing. And my answer,  is normally from April all the way till October. Fishing on Anglesey peaks in summer like any other biological life, so follow the cycles.
If we’re talking about times a day, I prefer to go either midday when it’s brightest and also an evening when the sun is setting. If we’ve talking about Pollock fishing and mackerel fishing those scenarios applys. For Bass and Sea trout, we like to go at, dusk dawn or at night.
If I was to try to Bass fish in the midday sun, they probably wouldn’t the lure, as they are far more spooky than most other fish. But Pollock, in general,  will hunt in the day in bright sunlight. If you look at the size of their eyes on a pollack they have very large eyes which means that their hunting bias is predominantly set to sight, which suits day time feeding.
Now for Pollock to see your lures you need the clearest possible water and the brightest sunshine. They fixate on their prey through their sight. Therefore, midday sunshine fishing in clear clear calm waters as long as you’re not spooking the fish can be very productive.
I wouldn’t apply the same techniques for anything like bass, mullet or sea trout though because those other, more sophisticated apex fish, are far more sensitive to their environmental surroundings than Pollock. They will spook far much easier. So, for those fish, you would have to arrange your fishing around dawn and desk sessions.  Full moon or new moon fishing session tend to produce really good results if you’re targeting those species also (tending towards new moon rather than full moon)
In terms of time and tide I like to fish, low tide, for me works well, but this is just one of my preferences, you can fish at high tide medium and low tide.
The reasons I like fishing at low tide are, I can always go and see what the rocks are like low water, and see what the seabed topography is like. I can look at the rock shelves, look where the snags are and I can see where the kelp beds are situated. In turn, this gives me a greater understanding, as to where the fish are going to be, and where the snags are for me to avoid. There’s nothing more frustrating than losing your float fishing gear in the beds of kelp.
  Tips
If you fish at low water, you have got the tide to rise with you. Plus, you can see your entry routes to the rock platforms that you’re fishing in you can also see the exit routes. Often I find that if you go on to fishing rocks or new locations, when the tide is high the swell is normally larger, wind can get up and it can create a more treacherous, dynamic environment for the beginner angler.
Navigate the rock shelfs better at low water.
I have fished these rocky areas here for the best part of 30 years on the island of Anglesey. So I’m very keenly and aware of the environment around me, which, a lot of people are not. Things like incoming swells, tides and the movement of ferries, all can produce kind of tricky environments to to move in safely, if you’re unaware of your locale.
So going at low water, you have all the environmental factors at the lowest in order for you to survey the territory and learn your craft. Also, you can fish deeper in the water column aswell, because you haven’t got that the 30 foot overburden of water beneath you. In the regions in North Wales here we have very large rising tides (upwards of 30 to 34 feet on spring tides) and certainly sometimes bigger on equinox spring tides. The size of tides can be instrumental in success or failure in catch rates. Too much tide, you it can be tricky to hold piston with a float, too little tide the fish don’t feed sometimes, so its a fine balance between the two. Fishing at low water, therfore can prove very successful in terms of getting down to the level where the fish are at, and being able to access better fishing spots on the rocks, holding position with your float gear and finding better areas to land fish too.
Low water exploring and fishing the tide up from low.
  How to avoid loosing tackle
There are some great ways to avoid losing tackle, which I’m just experimenting with right now In fact. One of which is using a section of light line, between your bottom swivel and your hook.
A lot of anglers that I’m referring to it and learning from at the minute use an eight to six pound line, beneath the float with the hook being more of a fine wire pattern (nordic bends). The reason is, if they snag into a rocky bottom or reef shelf, they can lift their rod, and pull back to remove the snag, the fine wire hook will bend out or the small, thin gauged six to eight-pound line will snap first before they lose the more expensive part of the kit which would be the float in the setup.
This can save on morale on many fronts, because one of the most frustrating points for me in any style angling, is losing gear. I really detest losing my fishing tackle as im sure you do. And I do spend many many hours of my vocation time on the rocky shores at low water retrieving tackle lost by many anglers. I must have picked over 1000 weights off the seabed many many many bags full of line, tackle swivels and hooks. Its quite fun because I get to explore and look for crab and lobster and at the same time clear the low tide line of this disposed plastic.
Loosing tackle can be more of a mental game, it can be very frustrating loosing tackle, so if you adopt those two strategies you will minimise the amount of gear you will loose.
1) Using a weaker line for your hook lengths – I would say keep it at eight pound strength, breaking strain.
2) Use a fine wire like a mustard Nordic bent hooked, that you would then place your soft plastic lure on. You have to get out clauses, before you lose your tackle.
  Increase your chances
A couple of tips and tricks that I’m employing at the minute in all my forms of lure fishing. I choose my times and tides very selectively.
Now, I know it’s not going to be that way for you all.. I don’t have any children and dependants on me and my time is pretty much as free as I make it a part from working and doing these blogs.
But if you have spare time use it wisely the fishing, schedule your fishing sessions to tie in with very specific tides and also to tie in with evening or morning fishing sessions. If you’re targeting bass and other other migratory species, then you will find your results will vastly improve.
Look at when the low tides occur, look at when the fish on larger moon cycles so new moons and full moons are very productive in the fishing world, you have a highest amount of magnetism and gravity working which fish in other animals, we now know through the soluna theory. They fish Much better on these points in the moon.
So, by scheduling your fishing sessions, to time with larger tides at low water in locations that you’re maybe familiar with and ones you have done your prior research on, you will increase your results. You need to know your spots hold fish, when the fish move in when they feed.
You can narrow down the variables to give you high catch rates more consistently, look for areas with, you know hold fish with lots of moving visible lines on the surface of the water, such as tidal streams and mixing fronts. Look for birds, look for other mammals feeding such as dolphins or porpoise, they are giving you great clues as to what lies beneath.
Look for cormorants, herons, and turns feeding, they’re all going to give you signs as to what the environment is providing on a macro level, so that then you know what the environment is showing you what’s going on beneath the surface of the water.
Always look and survey nature to give you the clues as to what’s going on. Don’t assume,  you have all the data in front of you usually. Look at the environment, watch the birds look at the tides.
Check the wind out, if its blowing east- the fish bite least. Follow the moon cycles.Pick your fishing sessions, very specifically. Look up tides for fishing website.
I found that the optimum for me, was picking a two hour window and mastering that two hours on a specific location and tide
  Keep a fishing diary
keeping a physical note in a computer or book as to what the catch rates were. Will give you a starting point and a database to work from in the future. This is really important principle in fishing results – “if you can’t measure it you can’t manage it”, and it applies to every sector in life. Keep a diary of your fishing results.
So if you can’t measure your success, you can’t manage it. By keeping notes on a laptop of what you catch, where you caught it, what the weather was like, what bait you use, what plastic lures you were using, what rods you used,  what the tides were like, all this information will will become a very useful database of catches within two years.
I’ve proved this time and time and time again, and my mentors and peers who are some of the best fisherman in the world, they employ the same tactics and the same systems to create their success also.
  Tackle. Keep it simple,
You don’t need expensive tackle to do flow fishing, you need a basic spinning rod for spinning real simple main line I like to use braid, 15ld pound breaking strength.  You need a float and some beads, a swivel and an elastic band.
You also need some eight pound breaking string line, and some Nordic bend hooks, or other fine wire hooks of your choice. sizes can range from size one, down to size eight. You also need some soft plastic lures.
here are many many many versions to choose from on the market. Currently I’m using some savage ones.
I like to keep a fish bag that’s made by Titan over my shoulder with my tackle him in the fish bag, the kind of things that I carry are :
Scissors, pliers, a priest, a couple of extra floats, a handful of one ounce weights, too. Types of breaking strain line between eight pounds and 12 pounds. Some hooks and spare hooks and tubs of soft plastic lures.
I sometimes also take a pack of frozen squid. If the float fishing is not turning on as I planned. I have a quick means of changing tactics and fishing the bottom. Using a very very basic to work rig with size six to eight hooks and tiny slivers of squid on.

Journal of Chemistry-JuniperPublishers
Abstract
A variety of potentially biological active multi component green synthesis of Bis-pyrrol indoline-2-ones triazoles possessing N- alkyl furan/ N- alkyl thiophene /N- alkyl pyrrol by catalysed Cu-NPs on activated carbon in water involving green synthetic technology have been developed. It involves in three steps. The first step involves the synthesis of 1-prop-2-ynyl indoline-2,3-dione(3) from indoline -2,3-dione and 3-chloropropanone(2). The intermediate1-prop-2-ynyl indoline-2,3-dione(3) was converted into 1-((1-furan/thiophene/pyrrol/phenyl/4- methyl phenyl/4-fluoro phenyl/4- trifluro methyl phenyl/4-nitro phenyl)-2-yl)methyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methyl)indiline-2,3-dione (5a-h) by 1,3- dipolar cyclo addition with 2-bromo methyl-1H-furan/ 2-bromo methyl-1H-thiophene/ 2-bromo methyl-1H-pyrrol benzyl bromide/4-methyl benzyl bromide/4-fluoro benzyl bromide/4-tri fluoro benzyl bromide/4- nitro benzyl bromide (4a-h) catalysed by Cu-NPs on activated carbon catalysed click reaction in neat water depicted in step-2. The step three involves green synthesis of 1-((1-furan/thiophene/pyrrol/phenyl/4- methyl phenyl/4-fluoro phenyl/4- trifluro methyl phenyl/4-nitro phenyl)-2-yl)methyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methyl) -3,3-di(1H-pyrrol-2-yl) indoline-2-ones(7a-h) from 1-((1-1-((1-furan/ thiophene/pyrrol/phenyl/4-methyl phenyl/4-fluoro phenyl/4- trifluro methyl phenyl/4-nitro phenyl)-2-yl)-2-yl)methyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methyl)indiline-2,3-dione(5a-h) and pyrrol (6) in presence of selected ionic liquid. The newly synthesized triazoles (7a-h) were characterized by spectral analysis. The synthetic route was shown in scheme-1. Antimicrobial activity of 7a-h was studied in presence of Ag NPs by disk diffusion method.

Introduction
Heterocycles play an important role in biochemical processes and, therefore, they are very frequently found as substructures in numerous pharmaceutical products [1]. Among them, 1,2,3- and 1,2,4-triazoles are known to possess remarkable biological properties as antitumor, antiviral, anti-inflamMicrobial Experimentationory, analgesic, antifungal or antibacterial agents [2]. Nowadays, click chemistry[3] represents a pivotal tool in the discovery of new therapeutic compounds and in medicinal chemistry, since it allows molecular diversity in a direct, precise and selective manner.[4] In particular, the Huisgen 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of azides and alkynes [5] have become a synthetic cornerstone, the paramount discovery by the groups of Meldal [6] and Sharpless [7] of its copper(I)-catalysed version (CuAAC). [8] This powerful methodology, which is considered the paradigm of a click reaction, gives a straight access into the 1,2,3-triazole moiety with high reliability and selectivity. This particular nucleus is used as a robust linker of complexes On the other hand, owing to our dedication to study and understand the reactivity of active metals and nanoparticles, [9] molecular architectures of significance in different fields, and especially in synthetic routes to bioactive molecules [10]. Copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) were formed either from CuCl22H2O or anhydrous CuCl2 under the aforementioned conditions. These CuNPs (10 mol%) effectively catalysed the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of organic azides and terminal alkynes in remarkably short reaction times (10-120 min) [11], the CuNPs underwent dissolution under the reaction conditions (Et3N, THF, 65 °C) the same could not be reused. In order to overcome this inconvenience, supported catalysts based on CuNPs were developed for better recyclability and stability than the unsupported counterparts. [12] In this sense, a catalyst consisting of oxidized copper nanoparticles on activated carbon, readily prepared under mild conditions, which manifested a high versatility in the multicomponent Huisgen 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition in water. [13] The organic halides, azides as aryldiazonium salts, anilines, epoxides and alkene, were proven to be appropriate substrates in this process. In order to expand the applicability of this methodology, we have reported here in our results on the multicomponent synthesis of an array of 1,2,3-triazoles, derived from some natural products and a synthetic one, with potential biological activity.
Bis Pyrrol-2-yl-indoline-2 ones derivatives have been drawing the attention of synthetic organic chemists due to their wide spectrum of biological properties [14]. 3,3-Diaryloxindoles known to exhibit a wide range of biological activities such as antibacterial [15], antiprotozoal [16], anti-inflamMicrobial Experimentationory [17] and anticancer activity [18]. A reaction which involves ionic liquids as catalysts [19] and /or media [20] in reactions have been widely used in organic Trans forMicrobial Experimentationions due to their advantages such as good solvating ability, negligible vapor pressure, high polarity and ease of work-up. [Bmim]OH (1-butyl-3-methylimidazolinium hydroxide) is one such task-specified ionic liquid which acts as reaction medium as well as a basic catalyst and has got varied applications [21] in the field of synthetic methodology development. In view of our continued interest in indoles [22] and the development of green procedures for the synthesis of diverse heterocyclic compounds of biological significance, we now report a simple and efficient method for the synthesis and use of Cu NPs of Bis-Pyrrol indoline triazoles 7a-h using [Bmim] OH as a task-specific ionic liquid.
Experimental Section

General procedure for the synthesis of (7a-h):
A mixture of 1-((1- furan/thiophene/pyrrol/phenyl/4- methyl phenyl/4-fluoro phenyl/4- trifluro methyl phenyl/4-nitro phenyl)-2-yl)methyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)methyl)indiline-2.3- dione/1-((1-thiophene-2-yl)methyl)-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl] methyl)indoline-2,3-diones(5a-h) (1.0 mmol) and pyrrol (6, 2.00 mmol) and [Bmim]OH (10 ml) was heated at 1000 C until the completion of reaction as checked by TLC. To the resulting oily reaction mixture was added ethanol (10 ml) to force out the crude product from the polar ionic liquid reaction medium. The separated solid mass was collected by  filtration and dried in oven to obtain crude (7a-h). The latter, were recrystallized from ethanol to get the pure (7a-h). The filtrate consisting of the ionic liquid and ethanol were evaporated to remove ethanol and the recovered ionic liquid was reused for subsequent reactions. To compensate for the loss of some ionic liquid during the work up procedure, an amount (5 ml) of fresh [Bmim] OH was added after the 4 runs of the reactions.

Preparation of Ag-NPs solution
Silver nanoparticlessolution was prepared using simple methodology by chemical reduction method reported, [24] using solution of AgNO3 and trisodium citrate was added with heating under magnetic stirring, then the solution turned to yellow colour. To confirm the forMicrobial Experimentationion of silver nanoparticles in this solution, we carried out an UV-visible absorption study and TEM imaging. In Fig. 1, a strong characteristic absorption peak around 400 nm is noted for the silver nanoparticles in the solution due to strong but broad surface plasmon peak has been well documented for various Ag-NPs size [25-27].
Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) images of the Ag- NPs solution which showed different size of Ag-NPswere recorded using a Zeiss Electron Microscope 10, operating at power 60 kV. TEM samples were prepared by dispersing 2- 3 drops of Ag-NPs solution on copper grid and dried at room temperature after removal of excess solution using a filter paper. A solution of compounds 7b,7a,7c,7h,7g,7f, and 7d were stirred with Ag-NPs solution, the residue products obtained in nano form were confirmed by TEM which showed different size of nano particles.
Microbial Experimentation
Microbial investigations were done to find the effect of some newly synthesized compounds against Gram +ve)Staphylococcus aureus ATCC (12600) and (Gram -ve) bacteria Escherichia coli ATCC (11775), in addition to their antifungal activity against Aspergillus flavus and Candida albicans with or without silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) solution. The preliminary studies of the biological assay were performed according to the agar diffusion method [28-31] at a concentration (25mg/mL) using DMSO as solvents. The results of the in vitro antimicrobial activity were recorded as average diameter of inhibition zone in mm, are given in Tables 1 & 2.
Anti bacterial activity:
The anti bacterial activity of 7b,7a,7c,7h were increased in presence of Ag-NPs solution against both test strains. There is no enhancing effect of 7f,7d,7g on the anti bacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. The highest fold increases in area were observed for 7b, 7a,7c and 7h in presence of Ag-NPs against both strains.
Anti fungal activity:
The anti fungal activity of 7b,7a,7c,7h were increased in presence of Ag-NPs solution against Aspergillus flavus. There is no enhancing effect of 7f,7d,7g on the anti fungal activities against Candida albicans. The highest fold increases in area were observed for 7b, 7a,7c and 7h in presence of Ag-NPs against both strains.
(Table 1 & 2)
Conclusion
The current study involved the design and synthesis of new heterocycles based on Bis-pyrrol indoline-2-ones moiety using simple synthetic route to evaluate their antimicrobial and antifungal activities, and study the effect of silver nanoparticles solution on their biological activities. Based on Bis-pyrrol indoline-2-ones triazole. Similar trends were noticed in anti bacterial and anti fungal studies of newly synthesized bis- pyrazoles in presence and absence ofAg-NPs.

“A PROTEST POETRY intended to induce funks of ambivalence.” That phrase appears in Stan Apps’s “Free Dolphin Radio,” the opening poem of Flarf: An Anthology of Flarf. While its placement may have been fortuitous (given the book’s alphabetical arrangement by author), it seems a fitting motto for the entire collection, as well as for the movement the book presents as a whole. “Flarf” refers to a self-styled avant-garde collective that sprung up around 2000 and was devoted to exploring the web, then in its “wild west” phase, as a resource for making poetry. On a private email list, its members developed a technique they refer to as “Google sculpting,” which calls for the poet to trawl the internet for preexisting language, usually by putting combinations of intentionally silly or offensive keywords into a search engine (“pizza” and “kitty,” “Rogaine” and “bunny,” “pussy” and “turtleneck”) and then creatively arranging the results into strange, funny, and unsettling collages. Voilà: “Arthur Treacher grabs my assclown / Assclown grabs my squid / Squid signs me up for the NOW Action Alert list.” (This is from Sharon Mesmer’s “Squid Versus Assclown.”)
The name “Flarf” is a neologism, which one of its founders, Gary Sullivan, defines as describing “a kind of corrosive, cute, or cloying, awfulness. Wrong. Un-P.C. Out of control. ‘Not okay.’” It is also, he explains, a verb, meaning “to bring out the inherent awfulness, etc., of some pre-existing text” (thus, one can “Flarf” any unsuspecting piece of writing). Flarf, you might say, is what poetry would sound like “if pirates pumped the stuffed-up airwaves full of dolphin hymns and rat speak,” to quote another line from that same opening poem.
In the early 2000s, Flarf was a big cartoon thumb stuck in the eye of the poetry establishment. Pumped full of “rat speak” by pirate poets sailing the high seas of the internet, Flarf poems were disjunctive works made from the ugly feelings, vulgarity, and raucous surreality that colors our everyday experience in the digital age. With language extracted from chat rooms, message boards, and the underbelly of our online lives, the poems were deliberately messy, abrasive, and distasteful. But Flarf was also ostensibly “a protest poetry”: from the start, the Flarfists explained that they were supplying a subversive response to the nightmarish absurdity and deceit of contemporary culture in the post-9/11 era. Mostly, though, it seemed custom-designed to provoke misgivings from arbiters of taste and to induce “funks of ambivalence” about its aesthetics, its politics, and its worldview from both staid cultural gatekeepers and other avant-garde poets.
The funk continues to linger over Flarf, now more a period style than a going concern. While it has been claimed as a powerful and enduring intervention in the development of American poetry, some see it as little more than an extended prank; others insist it was only a tired retread of Dada and other earlier avant-garde experiments. Some claim its practice of borrowing language from “ordinary” people on the internet (often riddled with misspellings, stupidity, racism, and xenophobia) is ultimately patronizing, elitist, a form of punching down. Flarf has been dogged, too, by ethical questions about whether the reproduction of hateful, offensive language perpetuates rather than critiques harmful stereotypes and prejudices.
This anthology will probably not put such questions to rest. For one thing, it’s not clear why the Flarfists decided to publish this collection of their work (co-edited by five of its members) now, at a time when many of the poets themselves have moved on, and the more heated debates about the movement have subsided. Is the anthology meant to provide a snapshot of a vital and ongoing phenomenon, like Donald Allen’s The New American Poetry? Is the timing of its appearance intended to suggest that Bush-era Flarf is now newly relevant in the dark age of Trump? Or is it more a bid for canonization, an enshrinement of a now-defunct avant-garde in poetic history?
It’s even harder to answer these questions because, unlike many such collections, Flarf is completely devoid of scholarly apparatus and critical framework: it has no preface or introduction, no manifestos or statements of poetics. There’s no effort to define Flarf or trace its origins or goals, no attempt to explain its methods or sketch out its intellectual or poetic investments. It is nearly impossible to tell when the poems were written, or whether any of the material in the book is new or recent, or if it all dates from Flarf’s heyday, over a decade ago. Of course the editors’ decision to remove all context and helpful framing is probably deliberate, in keeping with the anarchic spirit of the movement, which is as allergic as Dada was to high seriousness, “official” institutions, the canon, and so on. But if that’s the case, then why produce an anthology at all? At the very least, a few signposts would have helped orient a younger generation of readers who missed the Flarf moment the first time around.
What we are left with, of course, are the poems themselves, giving us the opportunity to take stock of Flarf’s achievement, as it gathers in one place many of its best-known, and best, works, including Drew Gardner’s “Chicks Dig War,” Jordan Davis’s “Pablo Escobar Shopping T-Shirt,” Michael Magee’s “Mainstream Poetry,” Sharon Mesmer’s “Annoying Diabetic Bitch,” K. Silem Mohammad’s “Mars Needs Terrorists,” and selections from Katie Degentesh’s The Anger Scale. Left to fend for themselves, these poems do make a sort of argument for Flarf’s value, and relevance. From the vantage point of 2018, Flarf can be seen as a compelling extension of the long, vital tradition of avant-garde collage, appropriation, and remix, updated for the internet age in intriguing ways. The best Flarf poems use the resources of search-engine technology to capture the exuberance, the strangeness, and the cracked beauty of what Anne Boyer calls our “electronic vernacular.” Jordan Davis suggests as much in one poem when he writes, “‘What I love about the chat rooms / Is that they’re already halfway to poetry, / What’s poetry but lines, what’s a chatroom,’ / He started rubbing the squid.” Where else can one find a poem titled “Humanism Is Cheese” or another with lines like these: “Phoenix is the land of milk dowsers, / and I’ve always been / a wolverine bunny cage xenocide forum asshole”? The poems teem with a density of reference, evincing the strange magnetic power of labels, names, and data in a culture drowning in signifiers: “Dag Hammarskjold rolls off our lips as easily as Lassie,” Boyer writes. “I just killed the Pillsbury dough boy,” the speaker of one of Gardner’s poems announces, before quickly bouncing off toward Terry Gross, “Charman” Mao, Shelley Duvall, Wallace Stevens, Minnie Driver, and Dan Rather.
Other poems crackle with the upending of clichés (“Same old job, / same old Diplodocus bong water orgy” — Gardner again). They frequently delight in the twisting of expectations, as in these lines by Mohammad, where the hackneyed language of romance is infused with militarism and violence:
love is a Pakistani Mirage fighter jet frozen, strange like it had, you know, bubonic plague
I’m a bit less crazy about Flarf’s fondness for goofy, supposedly “transgressive” scatology and the sometimes exhausting levels of zaniness — poems where we learn that “I have to conduct snot viscosity experiments / with ass-lint,” (Mitch Highfill) and so on. But although the movement has been maligned for focusing too much on play and hijinks, for being just a bunch of friends “fucking around with google on the man’s dime” (as Gardner himself once put it), Flarf can in fact be fiercely political: poem after poem takes aim at toxic masculinity, American warmongering and imperialism, virulent racism, the intersections between porn and rape culture, and the penetration of neoliberal capitalism into every sphere of daily life. I fully expected to find that revisiting Flarf at this particular historical moment would feel like stepping out of the Tardis into the now distant days of “Shock and Awe,” where John Ashcroft makes jokes about Abu Ghraib over the sound of Howard Dean’s scream and ends up in a spider hole of denial. But many of the poems feel surprisingly timely, very much in touch with our own batshit zeitgeist. “I hate the high levels of jerk war around here,” Gardner writes in “Skylab Wolverine Bunny Cage Nub” (Twitter, anyone?). Benjamin Friedlander’s potent poem “When a Cop Sees a Black Woman” has a different charge in a post-Ferguson world:
Black hair is more fragile than most.
It requires TLC when a cop sees a black women he can’t think
everything through. She is the shiznit. She tempts and she taunts. She speaks in a bold
outspoken manner. But bypassing a metal detector, his forced and never-bending
monotone drone is not a factor in her arrest.
The same could be said of Gardner’s “How to Watch a Police Beating,” which follows its title with these scathing opening lines: “First off, there should be two sets of laws — / act like an ox and try not to be nonwhite…”
Other poems repurpose gender codes and tropes in ways that resonate powerfully in the #MeToo era. Consider Nada Gordon’s “I Love Men” (“I love men, but they wear me out with all their confusing issues. One day they / say they love you and the next they see someone with bigger ass. // I love men, muscles, sex, porn, and chocolate”). Or Katie Degentesh’s “I Was Horny,” which stitches together a series of found statements, substituting the word “boy” for “owl,” creating an affecting, creepy commentary on predatory masculinity and the culture that fosters it:
Boys are interesting creatures.
[…]
The boys tear their prey, swallow it whole, and spit up pellets. They prey on small things. Boys fly silently. They see well in the dark, hunt at night and sleep in the daytime. They scare others by fluffing up.
[…]
I hope boys never go extinct and I hope they never get endangered. I love boys.

In the decade and a half since Flarf emerged, strategies of appropriation of the sort these poets deploy have spread far and wide. It is worth noting that they have proven particularly useful as vehicles of political critique and dissent for a long list of poets of color not affiliated with the (largely white) Flarf coterie itself, who have seized on such tools to create works that take aim at racism, US foreign policy, police brutality, oppression, and misogyny, often more directly and powerfully than Flarf. In her award-winning collection Look, for example, Solmaz Sharif incorporates euphemistic phrases from a Department of Defense manual but scrutinizes, dismantles, and subverts them, redeploying this found material for both intimate personal reflection and for expressing coruscating outrage at contemporary racism, xenophobia, and anti-Muslim policies. I would recommend reading this anthology of Flarf alongside other contemporary poets like Sharif, Tracy K. Smith, Robin Coste Lewis, Philip Metres, Layli Long Soldier, Shane McCrae, and Tyehimba Jess to get a fuller sense of the ends to which such tactics have been put in recent poetry.
Faced with the daily calamity of the Bush years, Flarf testified that verbal play, and the creative détournement of our culture’s own language, could be a liberating act of resistance. Its antics were a valuable method of pushing back against what Wallace Stevens called, in another dark time, the almost unbearable “pressure of reality.” Perhaps right now we desperately need art forms that can seize on the language of our time, expose its absurdity, its deceit, and its sinister designs on us, and repurpose it for different ends. But in 2018, the online culture of misogyny, racism, stupidity, and hatred that Flarf exposed doesn’t need much further unearthing: it seems to be everywhere. As we gasp for air and sanity in the depths of Trumpworld, Flarf seems prescient but also somewhat redundant. To paraphrase Man Ray’s famous remark about why Dada could not survive in New York: Flarf cannot live in America. All America is Flarf, and will not tolerate a rival.
