top 5 kareena kapoor movies!
I love this question! 💕
Asoka (2001) - The fact that this film released the same year as K3G with Kareena playing drastically different characters blows my mind. The girl can act. She was amazing as Kaurwaki and I loved the minimal makeup look (I would always do my eyeliner like hers lol). I think Kareena held her own against SRK and their chemistry was on fire. Plus she looked amazing in the songs. Her introduction scene? Iconic. One thing I really love about Kareena is how well she can emote with just her eyes, especially in the Raat Ka Nasha song. Like, I could literally feel her longing. Also the scene where Asoka was teaching her how to use a sword rewired my brain. The sexual tension 🫠
Jab We Met (2007) - In my opinion, this film is the closest you can get to perfection. It still feels fresh even after all these years and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get into Bollywood. Kareena truly shined as Geet and I loved her character development throughout the film. And who can forget her iconic "I'm my favorite" dialogue? I need her confidence. She had wonderful chemistry with Shahid and I love how their relationship blossomed organically without his character expecting anything in return. I can never get tired of watching this film. The songs, outfits, cinematography, even the side characters – everything was on point!
Talaash (2012) - I love this film so much. It's dark & gritty but also very heartbreaking with an eerie vibe. Kareena looked beautiful (her outfits were sooo cute) and I think this was her best performance – very mature and restrained. Aamir & Rani were amazing but Kareena's character left me haunted. There was a gentle softness about her, but you could feel her lingering sadness whenever she appeared onscreen. I also appreciated the (non-romantic) pairing with Aamir and how he brought closure to her character.
Fida (2004) - Kareena was really good in this. I think it was the first time she played a negative role, but she looked so good while being bad. She also had the cutest shoulder length hairstyle which I loved so much, I had to copy it. Kareena & Fardeen were super hot together and I loved their chemistry. I was rooting for Fardeen to kick Shahid's ass. Those two characters (in my opinion) showed us the difference between a man vs a boy. Despite being flawed and a bit cheesy, Fida is still an enjoyable thriller with good songs and tons of drama. Also the shower scene still shocks me to this day because it was just that unexpected.
Bodyguard (2011) - Yes, I know this is technically a Salman Khan film but I watched it in theaters only for Kareena. She looked absolutely gorgeous. I loved her styling and wardrobe so much. Her intro scene was amazinggg. I also liked that they used Karisma's voice whenever Kareena's character was pretending to be the secret admirer – it was such a cute little detail. Kareena looked especially stunning in Teri Meri, though I wish they used a different male singer (no offense). I love fun masala films so much and this one is definitely up there!
put “top 5” anything in my ask and i will answer ok go

Varun Dhawan’s off-key rendition of ‘Alia Bhatt’s favourite song’ Sun Mere Humsafar has her in splits, watch video - bollywood
https://liveindiatimes.com/varun-dhawans-off-key-rendition-of-alia-bhatts-favourite-song-sun-mere-humsafar-has-her-in-splits-watch-video-bollywood/
Varun Dhawan has shared a goofy behind-the-scenes video, which seems to have been taken during the making of Badrinath Ki Dulhania, on his YouTube channel. In the clip, he is seen singing the romantic song Sun Mere Humsafar hilariously and completely off-key, leaving his director Shashank Khaitan and co-star Alia Bhatt in splits. He even adds a line or two of his own English rap to it.
The video, which was titled ‘Varun Dhawan sings Alia Bhatt’s favourite song’, has garnered tens of thousands of views so far. “His stupid voice also sounds cute,” one user commented, followed by a heart-eyes emoji. “I came directly here to watch #varia,” another wrote. “After so long aloo and Varun together…he looks best with alia,” another wrote.
Fans also expressed their desire to watch Varun and Alia together on the big screen again. The two stars have done four films together so far — Student Of The Year (which marked their Bollywood debut), Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and the box office disaster, Kalank.
youtube
Earlier, Varun had joked that Kalank would be his last project with Alia. However, he later clarified that they will not be seen together in a film for at least some time, as they were busy with their respective slate of films.

Currently, Varun is isolating with his family in Mumbai. Recently, he shared a video of them celebrating his niece Niara’s second birthday amid the lockdown.
Varun has been awaiting the release of his next, Coolie No 1, which was originally slated to hit the theatres last month but has been stalled in the wake of the pandemic. The film is a reboot of David Dhawan’s 1995 blockbuster and has Varun and Sara Ali Khan stepping into Govinda and Karisma Kapoor’s shoes.
After Coolie No 1, Varun will star in the biopic of 1971 war hero Arun Khetarpal, who was posthumously honoured with the Param Vir Chakra. The film will be directed by Sriram Raghavan.

My intro to Bollywood, aka in love with Raja Hindustani, part 1
Back in September I saw a commenter on a blog with the username Raja Hindustani.
I must’ve been really bored that day because I got curious and found the movie on Google Play. Since Bollywood movies from the 90s don’t have trailers, Google uses the Pardesi Pardesi song as a preview.
Seriously, how could I resist watching the movie after seeing that? I even paid an extra dollar to buy it instead of renting it.
Context: It’s surprising that Raja Hindustani pulled me in like this because in the past, I rarely watched films unless I happened to have a specific interest in the topic (for instance, watching art documentaries since my husband and I like to go to galleries).
More context: I’m a social media manager for a non-profit and spend my days marinating in horrible political news. I used to read gossip blogs for escape but when the Weinsten story broke and gossip blogs became all rape stories all the time, that became...really not fun.
Alrighty! So I was hungry for something different. And boy did I get it.
Raja Hindustani is the story of a simple but noble taxi driver in rural Northern India and his romance with a big city rich girl.
Raja is played by Aamir Khan, one of the world’s biggest movie stars. He is at Tom Cruise level in terms of his audience and reach, and way beyond Cruise in cultural influence. He produced and starred in the last Indian film to be nominated for a Foreign Language Academy Award and has repeatedly broken box office records in India and China.
Had I ever heard of him before? Hahahaha silly reader, I was a typical ignorant American. Of course I’d never heard of an Indian movie star with a 25-year career and billions of fans around the world.
Aarti, the poor little rich girl Raja falls for, is played by Karisma Kapoor, a member of the legendary Kapoor family, famous for their acting prowess and blue eyes.
Yeah, never heard of the Kapoors either.
Raja Hindustani opens on Aarti with her father and evil stepmother, who hates her because Daddy loves daughter best and when he dies Aarti will be the one rolling in cash instead of Step-Mommy Dearest.
Woman + Smoking = EVIL
Aarti decides to get the hell away from her stepmother by taking a trip to the town where her dad and real mom (tragically now dead) met and fell in love. She brings along her two loyal servants...who both appear to be transgender.
They play comic relief and yet they are apparently among the most sympathetic representations of LGBTQ folks in Hindi film. Also, their hat game is on point.
Aarti and servants fly to the north and need transportation from the airport. Enter Taxi Driver Raja. At first he doesn’t want to drive them but when he spots Aarti all resistance melts away.
After a lovely song (Aaye Ho Meri Zindagi Mein) and some shenanigans involving a lost hotel reservation, the travelers end up lodging at the house of Raja’s surrogate aunt and uncle (Raja is an orphan...of course he is).
Remember those faces because if you get into Hindi movies from the 90s you will see them over and over and over again. They are the Bollywood equivalent of Hey, It’s That Guy.
Aarti settles in and Raja becomes her designated driver during her trip. He is quite obviously smitten with her right from the start.
But Aarti treats him like a cross between a mascot and a servant. At least at first.
(When a tip puts you in the employee zone)
But after various inconsequential escapades comes the first big turning point in the story. Aarti, egged on by her servants, buys a short, tight, red dress. Raja is...not pleased.
The red dress attracts the attention of some street thugs and then ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE.
Aarti is completely freaked out by the fight and yells at Raja but he yells back at her and asserts his right to behave like a knuckle-dragging Neanderthal.
Instead of running back home like a sane person, Aarti puts on modest clothes and begins flirting with Raja in earnest. Which leads to one of the loveliest songs in the movie.
youtube
Then suddenly, there’s a rainstorm!
(There is always, always a rainstorm in Bollywood movies)
Raja and Aarti run for shelter under a tree (apparently knowing nothing about lightning safety) and Aarti heaves her bosom and tousels her hair while her clothes cling wetly to her body. Raja responds as any simple yet red-blooded country boy would: he’s completely turned on but struggles nobly to contain his urges.
Aarti, clueless as to what’s happening, laughs and teases Raja until a lightning bolt strikes nearby and she leaps into his arms!
(Seriously, y’all gonna get killed one day standing under trees in thunderstorms)
THEN THIS HAPPENS
To put the kiss in perspective, this was the first full-on mouth kiss ever in a Bollywood movie. Even today you don’t see mouth-to-mouth kissing that often. Kissing on the neck, arms, torso, even nibbling at cleavage—all good. Mouth-to-mouth = run away screaming with your hair on fire.
Which is pretty much how Aarti and Raja react once they unlock lips and come to their senses. Raja is struck mute with horror and Aarti flees the scene, scattering random sheep in her path.
Aarti runs back to her room and relives the kiss in her memory. Interestingly, the memory kiss is much steamier than the real life kiss.
Just as Aarti is about to pull out her Magic Rabbit and pray the batteries are still charged, in walks PAPA, OH SHIT PAPA’S HERE.
Such a considerate daddy, he’s flown in just to escort Aarti back home. Aarti is so grateful. Right Aarti?
Oh dear.
Raja doesn’t look any better when he arrives home and finds out that not only is Aarti leaving, he’s the one who has to drive her to the airport so she can go away forever. Much passive aggressive hilarity ensues as they are on the road and Papa asks Raja to work for their family as a personal driver.
Papa, the only person in the car who has no idea what the hell is going on.
Wait, what’s this? There’s been a landslide and the road is blocked? And they have to stop at an inn to wait until it’s cleared?
Oh yeah, haven’t mentioned yet that the (famous or infamous, depending on where you stand) Johnny Lever is in this movie. Johnny climbs onto the roof of the car and directs the crew to the inn where two women are dancing and singing.
And then the most awesome scene in romantic movie history ensues!
youtube
(Don’t let the stupid preview image put you off. This is a must watch)
So let’s break this down: Pardesi means stranger or foreigner in Hindi (literally “not Desi” or not Indian). The translated chorus: Foreigner, foreigner, don't leave me.
It starts out sung by a young, pretty dancing girl, then taken up by a terrifying crazed dancing “girl” with face tattoos and a taste for booze straight from the bottle.
The way the singers are used in the scene is very interesting since they seem to represent the angel and devil living inside of Aarti, the innocent young girl and the woman with urgent and messy desires.
Raja, in visible pain, joins the song. He wails his grief to the skies and literally begs Aarti not to leave him.
After much beautiful music and dancing and a creepy monologue from the drunk dancing girl...Aarti leaps to her feet!
She strides over to Raja and jumps into his arms! They embrace! Everyone is aghast! It’s AMAZING!
And then Papa flips out. Uh-oh.
Will our lovers prevail? (Yes, but only after some cuh-RAY-zee developments.)
Stay tuned for part 2!

The Hills Are Alive With The Sound Of Bollywood
When most Westerners who like musicals hear Switzerland mentioned, their first thought tends to be of the Julie Andrews classic, The Sound Of Music. Although technically that film is set in Austria and so features the German part of the Alpine range, the distinction is incidental to the beauty of the landscape.
As an Indian born and raised in Switzerland, my first thought is of the long and beautiful relationship Switzerland has had with the Bollywood film industry. Sure my family celebrates Diwali every year and like most Indians living overseas, I adore my mother’s home-cooked Indian food above all else. But it wasn’t until I discovered Bollywood films at the age of eleven or so that I truly connected with the film industry which fused my Swiss home and Indian roots. The connection between the flair of Bollywood and staid but scenic Switzerland was largely down to one man, the late, great film-maker Yash Chopra. Father of film-maker Aditya Chopra and actor Uday Chopra, he was also one of the most successful and legendary Bollywood film-makers, with an iconic career spanning from 1959 to his death at age 80 in 2012.
My personal connection with Yash Chopra movies is limited to his later films. I loved the Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor-starrer Dil To Pagal Hai in 1997 and the old-fashioned but epic love story starring SRK and Preity Zinta, Veer-Zaara, in 2004. Incidentally, the song from Veer-Zaara which was filmed in Switzerland was ultimately cut from the film due to length.
youtube
Nonetheless, Switzerland has had an even longer and profound relationship with Mr. Chopra than the films I personally have seen. According to a 2014 report on newlyswissed.com, Chopra first came to Switzerland on honeymoon with his wife Pamela in 1970. The article documented the long history of Yash Chopra’s movies using Switzerland as the backdrop for countless romantic song and dances. It’s strangely fitting that a honeymoon trip began his long love affair with Switzerland, because some of the most romantic sequences in countless films have stemmed from that initial exposure. It has been reported that even the very last film Yash Chopra directed before his death, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, was meant to have sequences filmed in Switzerland but that plan was scrapped when he passed away before the film’s release.
Since 2012, the popularity of Bollywood filming all over Switzerland carved a new niche in even the German market. Entire shelves in German malls can now be found devoted to completely dubbed Bollywood films, hilarious to watch in German when one knows what the original language sounds like. The best translation fail I’ve ever seen in my life was in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. In the film, Shahrukh Khan’s character was named Dev: The delivery itself was visibly over the top and dramatic when spoken in German rather than the original Hindi, but what made it even funnier were the subtitles. Every time “Dev” spoke or was referred to by another character, the subtitles would call him “Entwickler” which is German for “developer.” Whoever dubbed the film somehow got the idea that the name Dev was short for developer or development and every time I think about that, it cracks me up.
While the landscape portrayed in the films themselves gives Indians a glimpse into the beauty of Switzerland, it goes both ways. Yash Chopra’s fondness of Swiss locations boosted tourism to such an extent that he has been honoured by the locals of Interlaken and more in multiple ways.
The government of Interlaken awarded Chopra the honorary title of Ambassador of Interlaken in 2011
Jungfrau Railways named a train after him – an honour shared only with founder of the railways, Adolf Guyer
The five-star Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa in Interlaken named a suite after Chopra, where visitors can spend a night for CHF2,250 ($2,347)
In May 2016, Yash Chopra’s widow Pamela and daughter-in-law Rani Mukerji unveiled a 350kg bronze statue of the late film-maker
Lake Lauenen, located near Gstaad, is now more commonly known as Chopra Lake, for being one of his pet filming locations
I’m personally not the biggest fan of snow and ice, but even I can fully appreciate how magical the Swiss Alps must seem to the average Indian tourist. Yash Chopra tapped into the appeal of Switzerland’s lush meadows and quaint villages to give people who use Bollywood as a way to dream big something to aspire to. It was the 1995 directorial debut of his son Aditya Chopra, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, that was a game-changer for the since-then deep bond between Bollywood films and Switzerland. Fondly known simply as DDLJ, the Shahrukh Khan and Kajol-starring romance told the story of Raj and Simran, two Indians who fall in love on a train journey across Europe with the typical filmy hiccups during the course of their trip.
For over two decades, a cinema hall in Mumbai regularly showed the film as it was such a nation-wide smash hit. For most people, the escape from reality that Raj and Simran’s journey offered made it the classic it is today. I suppose that’s why for over fifty years, Switzerland has represented the dream sequences and foreign location settings that usually made no sense in the scheme of any given film. It was always about giving viewers an idyllic and dreamy setting for the hero and heroine to proclaim their love in, whether relevant to the plot or not. Since I grew up in Switzerland, I sometimes feel like perhaps the novelty of how scenic it is has worn off. My appreciation for the crisp, fresh air and beautiful environment usually peaks in times of contrast; right after returning from an extended trip to India, for example.
Exotic backdrops have always been a big part of what gives Bollywood films that quality of escapism from the hardships of daily life. Yash Chopra came to be known as the king of romance for the way he wove stories around the beauty of the Swiss mountains and meadows. It’s safe to say that the gift of romantic story-telling must run in families because DDLJ united Shahrukh Khan and Kajol for the second time of many in their careers. Where Aditya Chopra turned Raj and Simran into a love story for every Indian to aspire to, my favourite thing to look out for in DDLJ is the cameo appearance of his cousin, Karan Johar. If I’m honest it was not Raj and Simran that truly ignited my personal passion for Bollywood films but Rahul and Anjali, twice over in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and then again in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. Whether one is Team Chopra or Johar, Dharma Productions or Yashraj Films, Bollywood movies are an undeniably acquired taste. I will always be grateful to have an entire film industry tying my two worlds, the Swiss and the Indian, together.
The most mind-blowing thing to witness has been the response that Europe has had to Bollywood in the last few years. Switzerland has always been the backdrop that Bollywood fanatics dream about when they picture being romanced by SRK (at least I know I have). Now it’s not uncommon to find the remains of Indian snacks in the snowy peaks of the Alps, left behind by the constant flow of Indian tourists exploring the places Yash Chopra’s films exposed them to. Times are changing, in both Hollywood and Bollywood the racy style has become less shocking and more common than it was a few decades ago. But Yash Chopra put tenderness and truly epic love stories out into the world for future generations to enjoy forever and gave hopeless romantics like me something to dream about.

Actresses I wish SRK worked with (this includes either in more films or better ones than they were given):
Vidya Balan: This one is a no brainer. She's one of the best actresses around and would look amazing with SRK. I would love to see them in a quirky mature romance. Someone give them a good script asap!!!
Sushmita Sen: They sizzled in Main Hoon Na but were unfortunately wasted in Dulha Mil Gaya. These two make such a hot pair and should have done more movies together! I'm still mad about this. Sushmita is so classy. She's beautiful, intelligent, and very eloquent. She held her own against SRK in MHN. Remember Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha? They set the screen on FIRE!
Lara Dutta: She's lovely and criminally underrated. I also think she's a good actress. She looked better with SRK in Don 2 than Priyanka did, sorry not sorry (I'm a hater).
Sonali Bendre: In my humble opinion, she is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. Sonali is a great actress and amazing dancer, but has done a lot of terrible movies. She was barely in Duplicate, but definitely stood out. English Babu Desi Mem was awful though she was the only saving grace. I wish they had a cute romantic movie with lovely songs.
Urmila Matondkar: I loveloveloved Chamatkar. Urmila and SRK had fantastic chemistry and looked super cute together. I wish they were paired opposite each other more! Urmila as the bubbly spunky girl alongside innocent naive SRK was just adorable.
Karisma Kapoor: Justice for Nisha is all I'm going to say. Also, Karisma's cameo in Deewangi Deewangi was just electrifying. Idk why these two were never paired with each other again. They would have made a gorgeous jodi.
*Special Mentions: As always, I would love it if SRK did more films with my ultimate queen Juhi Chawla. And I so wish Divya Bharti could have done DDLJ (did you know she was the original choice?) because she would have suited Simran much better. She was so beautiful and paired well with SRK.
In conclusion, I hate that SRK worked with the same actresses over and over again when he could have been paired with these ladies instead. I swear to God...if he does another movie with Katrina or Anushka, I'm going to scream.

Judwaa 2: Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu to shoot for Tan Tana Tan next week
Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu are currently busy with the second schedule of their movie, Judwaa 2. The trio was recently in London where they shot a major chunk of the film.
Recommended read: Varun Dhawan's Femina cover is a rare combination of sexy and cute
While they have already finished shooting for the recreated version of Oonchi Hai Building, they will start the shoot for Tan Tana Tan next week. The rehearsals for the song have already started and the three leads are being trained under Ganesh Acharya. They have been rehearsing everyday for 3-4 hours and the track will have new hook steps but will retain the flavour of the original song from Judwaa, which was picturised on Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha. Talking about the song, Jacqueline said to a leading daily, "I'm excited and nervous to work with Ganesh master again after Taang Uthake in Housefull 3.Training with Varun is like rehearsing with the toughest dancer. His energy is insane but it's also motivating because he is super encouraging. For the Tan Tana Tan remake, it's ridiculously difficult to keep up with the dance moves but I'm giving it my best shot." A huge set has been erected in a Mumbai studio for the song and once the shoot is over, the team is going to Portugal to shoot a romantic number, in July. It will be a 5-day shoot. Directed by David Dhawan, Judwaa 2 is slated to release on September 29. 2017. Salman Khan will have a special appearance in the movie and will be seen interacting with Varun Dhawan in the climax of the film. Karisma Kapoor will reportedly have a cameo too. Favorite Disney movie and princess. Top 5 shahrukh khan films 🎥
Oh man that first question is so hard. Second question kind of easy, so let’s start with Mr. Khan first:
Top 5 6 Shah Rukh Khan movies (based on the fact I’ve rewatched only 6 of his movies that I’ve seen so far and I didn’t want to leave any of them off the rec list):
6. Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003) - (7/10) I know it’s supposed to be a love triangle but it comes off as an OT3 kind of movie. Some parts of it could have used some tweaking but overall it makes me feel all the feels and I just really love all the characters.
5. Dil to Pagal Hai (1997) - (7/10) This was one of the first dozen or so Hindi movies I watched when I started watching about one movie a night a summer or two ago, and I fell in love with it, Madhuri Dixit, and Karisma Kapoor. It’s so 90′s it hurts me in a good way. If I ever get around to my screencap redraws I want to eventually draw the ending because I love the use of color and Dixit is so pretty.
4. Darr (1993) (8/10) - One of the few SRK as a proper bad guy and not a cool ass kind of bad guy. Basically he plays a spoiled loser who stalks his university crush and it keeps building until a climax on a boat. As much as I love Sunny Deol, though, he seems kind of old for his role as the husband, but that’s kind of par for the course with any movie industry really. The Kiran song haunts me sometimes.
3. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) - This movie, Like Dil to Pagal Hai is also so 90′s it hurts me in a good way. I love all the characters and it plays into the concept of you should love your best friend, which is something I have believed strongly for a long time now. I think some parts of it could have been tweaked, but the ending sequence between Aman, Anjali, and Rahul really makes the movie for me.
2. Mohabbatein (2000) - This movie is Dead Poets Society (1989) meets Love’s Labour’s Lost to a degree, which means it was already going to win me over no matter what. I watched it when I was in a kind of dark psychological state. I was grappling with the realization that I likely was never going to get a romantic partner or have children someday, and it sent me into a point in which I was closing myself off to a lot of people. I can’t remember what the exact lines are off the top of my head but there’s something Rahul says in this movie that really touched me and kind of made me realize closing myself off was really dumb. And that’s when I started to accept my situation and move on in a more healthy manner. Which is weird, I know, but I don’t really have many people to talk, let alone who would want to hear me talk about depressing things, so sometimes these types of revelations come from movies instead of real life for me.
1. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) - I’m just going to be up front and honest here if Rahul and Rohan weren’t 11 years apart in this movie, I’m not sure it’d have made the same magnitude of impact on me or become so special to me. This movie plays into the part of me that loves Little Women. I’m not really sure why, so I’d have loved this movie anyway even if the main guys weren’t the same age difference I have with my older sister. It’s so so so so SO rare for me to find siblings with our age difference, and so very rare for me to relate to a character who’s the younger sibling instead of the older sibling since more frequently siblings in TV and movies reflect the age difference I have with our brother (5 years). This movie just plays my emotions like a violin. When our dog died, this is the movie I watched because I knew it would help me not feel so stupid for crying alone in my bedroom.
~*~
Okay, now for favorite Disney movie and Disney princess. This is a hard choice because I grew up with a lot of Disney movies and I was fascinated by them because I am hardwired for writing and contemplating how others write things, though I’m more analytical on purpose about that now than I used to be as a kid.
Anyway…
Favorite Disney movies:
Live action: The Parent Trap (1961) - I watched this one into the ground. I just loved all of it. I’m pretty sure I could recite it while watching it even to this day
Not about princesses: Robin Hood (1973) - Historical fiction is my jam
Princess movie: Tie between Sleeping Beauty (1959), Beauty and the Beast (1991), and Aladdin (1992) - Sleeping Beauty was my go to fave princess movie from the moment I watched it. I also liked that, compared to other princess movies before it, Prince Phillip actually does stuff and truly conducts a proper rescue. Beauty and the Beast is on par because when I was six I couldn’t believe there was a Disney princess who looked just like me and read voraciously like I did and I really liked that she thought Gaston was a moron. Aladdin I love because the story is just so engaging and the characters are as well. I also liked that Jasmine and Aladdin both had amble parts to play, which gave me more to relate to than some of the other princess movies that came before
Favorite Disney princesses:
Aurora because she was my first favorite
Belle because she really validated me as a kid
Jasmine because she stood up for what she wanted and she was just as much the hero as Aladdin was
Tiana because she has a lot of morals, values, and hobbies that align with my own. I also know I’d have loved her as a kid too.
