Hi! I was wondering...how can I tell if a job is legit? The guides I found online say "check if the place and manager are real" (they are, they even have a social media). And it doesn't sound too good to be true either (I read your guide on spotting scams)... I'm 95% sure it's legit. I also found it on coolworks (which has good reviews and people who've used it)
However, there are some things that I was wondering about...On the Coolworks job page it says send my resume, but on the official website I have to fill out a form to apply. And in addition to that, the job reviews aren't available on glassdoor (but I did find reviews on indeed-they're positive too)
Honey child, we are SO proud of you for going in cautiously like this. You're looking at all the right things and you're right to be wary of scams.
In this case though, I think you're safe. Not every company has reviews on every site. So if they're on Indeed, but not Glassdoor, that's ok! And if their official website they give you slightly different instructions than the job site, that's ok too. I'm willing to bet at the end of the annoying form they'll still ask you to upload a resume.
I'd go ahead and apply. If they ask for an interview by text... that's when I'd get worried.
