main masterlist
Every day, you settled into the hum of computers and the soft glow of monitors that painted the walls of the BAU's technical analysis hub, affectionately dubbed the "bat cave" by those who knew it best. Your role as a tech analyst found you working side-by-side with the brilliant and bubbly Penelope Garcia, a woman whose personality was as colorful as her wardrobe. Despite the comfort of being shrouded in the semi-darkness of your tech-laden sanctuary, a certain type of light seemed to elude you—the spark of acknowledgment in Dr. Spencer Reid's deep, thoughtful eyes.
You harbored a crush so palpable that even the air in the room felt charged with your nervous energy whenever Spencer was near. However, your shy demeanor cloaked these feelings in a veil of secrecy that somehow, miraculously, Spencer himself never managed to pierce through. Everyone else on the team had noticed, from the knowing smiles of Derek Morgan to the gentle teasing of JJ, but Spencer remained blissfully unaware, his attention often drifting towards Elle Greenaway with an intensity that tugged painfully at your heart.
Penelope, ever the observant friend, never missed a beat. "Oh, honey," she would whisper, "it’s like you’re sending Morse code with those blushes and he’s living in a blackout."
Her words were gentle, tinged with humor and affection, yet each jest felt like a pinprick to your already tender sensibilities. Whenever Spencer visited the bat cave to discuss case details or gather information, your heart raced as you tried to provide him with everything he needed without tripping over your words or, heaven forbid, your own feet.
"Hey, Spencer," you would start, your voice a careful mixture of professionalism and the warmth you couldn’t keep at bay.
"Hello," he would respond, his eyes scanning the screens filled with data. His focus was razor-sharp, dissecting information with the same precision he used on everything but the emotional currents swirling around him.
Each interaction was a dance. You would inch towards openness, leaning in to catch a whiff of his cologne or to appreciate the subtle shift of his hair when he ran his fingers through it in concentration. But as soon as he glanced up, those hazel eyes like windows to an enigmatic soul, you would recoil slightly, cheeks aflame, words retreating as quickly as they had dared to emerge.
Later, as the screen showed live feeds of the team moving through their environments, Penelope would nudge you gently with her elbow, her voice low and teasing. "You know, if we had a dollar for every time you fumbled around that man, we could retire and buy an island in the Bahamas."
You’d offer a small, embarrassed laugh, grateful for the low lighting hiding the worst of your blush. "I just... I don’t know how to act around him, Penelope. What if he doesn’t..."
"Feel the same?" she'd finish for you, her tone softening. "Sweetie, the heart’s a funny creature. It doesn’t play by the rules of logic that Spencer loves so much. But who knows? Maybe one day, he’ll surprise you and actually look up from those case files and see what’s right in front of him."
The comfort in her voice was soothing, yet each day ended the same—with you watching Spencer, Spencer watching Elle, and Penelope watching over you, a guardian angel clad in technicolor, armed with an arsenal of jokes and just the right words to keep you smiling through the uncertainty.
—
The day had been rolling along as usual in the BAU's bat cave, the rhythmic clicking of keyboards providing a steady backdrop to the glow of computer screens. Penelope had excused herself for a quick bathroom break, leaving you alone amidst the towers of technology. Just as the door clicked shut behind her, the shrill ring of the phone sliced through the quiet, startling you slightly. Calls from the field were usually Penelope’s domain, her cheerful voice a soothing constant for the team. Today, it seemed, you would have to step into her shoes.
“Y/N speaking, what can I do for you?” Your voice wavered slightly, anxiety bubbling up as you prepared for your usual toggle through databases and security feeds.
When Spencer’s voice responded from the other end, a different kind of alertness prickled across your skin. “Hi, Y/N, we need to cross-reference known associates of the unsub with recent flight records. Can you pull up the lists and cross-check for any matches?”
Your heart thumped erratically, his voice weaving through the receiver like a familiar song that never failed to stir your soul. You tried to maintain a steady tone, hoping your voice didn’t betray the sudden nervousness that his presence, even just over the phone, incited. “Sure, Spencer, just a moment.”
As your fingers danced across the keyboard, the professional mask you wore each day slid comfortably into place. You were adept at your job, a fact that never faltered, even under the weight of your emotions. Quickly pulling up the necessary records, you began the process of cross-referencing, your mind briefly detached from the flutter in your stomach.
“Looks like there’s a match. Michael Davidson, on a flight from Atlanta to D.C. this morning,” you reported, a trace of pride threading through your words at the efficiency with which you’d located the information.
“Great, Y/N. Thanks,” Spencer’s voice came through, a hint of relief palpable even through the static of the connection. His appreciation, simple and straightforward, filled you with a warmth that went beyond professional satisfaction.
Hanging up, you let out a breath you’d been holding. Penelope chose that moment to breeze back into the room, her presence as effervescent as ever. Catching the tail end of your smile, she quirked an eyebrow playfully.
“Spill the beans, buttercup. You look like someone just handed you a golden ticket,” she teased, settling back into her chair.
“It was just Spencer needing some quick info,” you shrugged, trying to sound nonchalant as your heart continued to beat a staccato rhythm against your ribs.
Penelope’s smile widened, her eyes twinkling with unspoken understanding. “Oh, just Spencer, huh?”
“Mhm,” you hummed, trying to brush it off casually. “Derek would never betray you by talking to me,” you teased, hoping to steer the conversation away from your flustered feelings.
Penelope’s eyes sparkled even more as she winked at you. “Oh, he’s allowed to have side pieces, my love. I’m a generous goddess.”
You burst out laughing, your nervousness momentarily forgotten as Penelope’s playful banter eased your tension. “I’ll let him know you said that,” you shot back, turning back to your screen, trying to focus on anything other than the residual warmth from talking to Spencer.
Penelope, never one to let you off the hook easily, leaned in closer. “Should I let Spencer know he isn’t allowed to have any side pieces then?” she asked, winking at you again, her tone as sweet as honey but with a hint of mischief.
“Penelope!” you gasped, feeling your face flush all over again. The blush you thought had faded returned with a vengeance as you turned away, hoping she wouldn’t see just how red you were.
She laughed, clearly pleased with herself. “I’m just saying, babe. The boy’s got options, but I think we both know his best one is sitting right here.”
You groaned, covering your face with your hands as you let out a small, embarrassed laugh. “You’re impossible.”
“Just doing my part to make sure he doesn’t miss any signals,” Penelope sang, tapping her keyboard lightly, her grin as wide as ever. You couldn't help but smile too, secretly grateful for her teasing. After all, it was these moments that made the crush a little more bearable.
—
During one of Rossi’s famed pasta-making sessions, a relaxed atmosphere filled his spacious kitchen, with the rich aroma of tomato sauce simmering on the stove and the sounds of laughter mingling with soft Italian music playing in the background. Rossi, the consummate host, guided everyone through the steps of making the perfect pasta dough, his hands moving with the ease of long practice.
You found yourself stationed next to Spencer, who was diligently kneading a mound of fresh pasta dough. His hands, beautiful and dexterous, worked the dough with a precision that was mesmerizing. The veins on his hands stood out, accentuating every deliberate movement, and you couldn’t help but be captivated by the fluidity of his motions. It wasn’t just his intellect that drew you in; even his seemingly mundane physical actions had a way of catching your undivided attention.
Derek and JJ, who were partnered up on the other side of the kitchen island, caught your fixed gaze and shared an amused look between them. Derek’s smirk grew as he nudged JJ, whispering loud enough for you to overhear, “Looks like someone’s more interested in the handwork than the handiwork.”
JJ chuckled softly, her eyes twinkling with mischief as she joined in the teasing. “Yeah, I think Y/N’s planning on writing a thesis on the manual dexterity of certain geniuses.”
Flustered, you tore your eyes away from Spencer’s hands, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks. You attempted to focus back on your own portion of dough, which had begun to stick to the counter more than it should. Spencer, oblivious to the exchange, looked up and noticed your struggle.
“Hey, you need to dust a bit more flour on the surface,” he said, his voice gentle, unaware of the reason behind your distraction. He reached over to sprinkle some flour on your dough and then on the countertop, his fingers briefly brushing against yours. The brief contact sent a pleasant jolt through you, further flustering you.
Rossi, ever the observant host, noticed the playful dynamic and decided to rescue you from your embarrassment. “Alright, everyone, let’s focus on the art of pasta! Y/N, why don’t you help me with the sauce?” he suggested, giving you a knowing smile as he handed you a wooden spoon.
As you helped Rossi stir the simmering sauce, carefully blending the herbs into the rich, aromatic mixture, you couldn’t help but cast furtive glances across the kitchen. There, Hotch had taken up the spot you vacated next to Spencer, now deeply engaged in the art of pasta making under Rossi’s enthusiastic instruction. While Hotch was methodically following Rossi’s guidance, Spencer’s attention occasionally drifted.
Across from them, Elle was rolling out her dough with a confident flourish, laughing at something Hotch had said. You caught Spencer's eyes as they met Elle's, a shared glance of amusement passing effortlessly between them. The ease of their silent communication was stark, their smiles syncing in a moment of private jest that seemed to exclude the world around them—including you.
That simple, silent exchange felt like a punch to the gut. The laughter and camaraderie around you suddenly seemed a bit dimmer, a bit more distant. It wasn’t just jealousy that twisted in your stomach—it was the aching realization of how much could be said in a single look when there was a real connection; a connection you feared might never form between Spencer and yourself.
You turned your attention back to the sauce, the spoon moving mechanically in your hand as Rossi continued to chat about the nuances of Italian cooking. He didn’t seem to notice your distraction, caught up in his culinary passion. But inside, your thoughts were swirling as tumultuously as the sauce you stirred.
Trying to shake off the sinking feeling, you focused on the positives—the laughter of your team, the comforting weight of the wooden spoon in your hand, the delicious smell that filled the kitchen. But despite the festive atmosphere, a part of you remained reserved, quietly nursing the tender hope that maybe, just maybe, one day Spencer would look at you with the same warmth and understanding he so effortlessly shared with Elle. Until then, you resolved to keep smiling, keep stirring, and keep hoping.
—
The BAU briefing room felt unusually empty without Penelope's vibrant presence, Elle's keen insights, and Derek's charismatic confidence filling the space. With them on vacation, the dynamic had shifted, and you found yourself stepping into roles that stretched beyond your usual behind-the-scenes expertise. The weight of Penelope's responsibilities now rested squarely on your shoulders, a challenge you accepted with both determination and a hint of trepidation.
As the team gathered for the briefing on the new case, Hotch turned to you. "Y/N, could you walk us through the case description and the current leads?" His voice was calm, authoritative, yet imbued with a supportive undertone that did little to ease the flutter of nerves in your stomach.
Nodding, you stood, remote in hand, feeling every pair of eyes in the room settle on you. Public speaking was not your greatest fear, but it was hardly your favorite endeavor—especially not with Spencer's intense gaze locked on you. It was as if his eyes were a pair of spotlights, illuminating not just your words but every minute reaction and emotion that flickered across your face.
As you began to outline the case, detailing the patterns and possible psychological motivations of the unsub, Spencer's scrutiny never wavered. His stare was not judgmental nor dismissive; rather, it was analytical, perhaps even a bit curious, as if he were trying to read the nuances of your presentation, to understand not just the facts but the person delivering them.
"Based on the geographical profiling and the behavioral pattern, we believe the unsub may be operating within a ten-mile radius of downtown," you explained, pointing to the map projected behind you. Your voice steadied as you delved deeper into the analysis, the familiar terrain of data and evidence providing a solid foundation beneath your initially shaky confidence.
Spencer's focus, rather than rattling you further, began to foster a sense of resolve within you. You found yourself speaking more confidently, your nerves tempered by the realization that this was still your team—your family in all but blood. They weren't here to judge; they were here to listen and to learn from what you had to offer.
As the briefing wrapped up, Hotch nodded in approval. "Good work, Y/N. Keep us posted on any updates from Garcia's systems until she returns."
You nodded, feeling a wave of relief wash over you. Glad it was over, you were already preparing to scamper back to your office when you heard a voice that sent a familiar shiver down your spine.
“Y/N?” Spencer's voice, calm yet inquisitive, caught your attention.
You spun around to face him, trying not to let your fluster show. “What’s up?”
“Can you put the map back up on the screen, please?” he asked, already standing by the large projection screen.
“Ye–yeah, of course.” Your fingers fumbled with the remote as you quickly reactivated the display, bringing the map back onto the screen.
“Here,” Spencer said, still not looking back at you. “Come look at this.”
You walked over to stand beside him, your eyes inadvertently drawn to his long fingers as they traced paths along the map, pointing out specific areas. The same hands that had mesmerized you earlier were now gliding over the screen, drawing you into his thought process.
Spencer started talking about the geographical profile, rattling off information with his typical rapid-fire brilliance. But what took you by surprise was how he spoke to you—not as the team’s tech analyst, but as if you were another profiler, someone he wanted to consult. This was new, and it left you momentarily stunned. He’d never done this before.
“Spencer?” you asked quietly, your voice barely audible in the spacious room. He hummed in response, still focused on the map as he tugged thoughtfully at his bottom lip—a gesture you’d come to adore and envy.
“Why are you asking me about this?” you continued, your curiosity growing along with your nerves. “Why not Rossi? Or Hotch?”
Spencer paused, finally turning to face you, his eyes filled with the same focused intensity he usually reserved for solving cases. “Because you see things differently,” he said softly. “You have a different perspective, and that’s valuable. Sometimes it’s not just about profiling. It’s about how we approach the data, and you… you understand patterns in a way that’s unique.”
His words caught you off guard, but they filled you with an unexpected warmth. You weren’t just the tech analyst who plugged in the data—they saw you, Spencer saw you, as part of the team, as someone with valuable insights.
Your heart fluttered in your chest as you held his gaze for a moment longer than you intended. “Thanks, Spencer,” you whispered, trying to suppress the blush creeping up your neck.
He smiled, a small but genuine curve of his lips, before turning back to the map. “Now, what do you think about this area here?” he asked, as if it was the most natural thing in the world for you two to be collaborating like this.
For once, you weren’t just lost in thoughts of him—you were part of the conversation, and it felt good.
After you felt you'd helped all you could, you excused yourself back to your office, ready to sink back into the more solitary part of your work. However, Spencer seemed to have other plans, as he walked alongside you, his footsteps synchronized with yours, indicating he wasn't quite done talking. His expression was one of mild concern, a usual precursor to his deep dives into various subjects.
As you walked, he continued to unravel his thoughts about the case, tying loose ends and circling back to previous points with a precision that was nothing short of impressive. It was typical of Spencer to thoroughly dissect each aspect of a case, often taking tangential routes in the conversation that surprisingly led right back to the main topic, a testament to his prodigious mind.
However, as engrossed as he was in discussing the case, his next words veered sharply from the professional to the personal, catching you completely off guard and momentarily stalling your mental gears. The shift was so sudden that it took a moment for you to register what he was actually asking, pulling you out of your case-focused mindset and into a more introspective space. This unexpected question not only showed his human side but also reminded you of the depth of his observational skills, not just in work but in personal matters as well.
"How is Felix, by the way?" Spencer asked, an innocently curious tilt to his head as he regarded you, his pace slowing slightly.
"What?" The name jolted you, an echo from a past chapter of your life you hadn’t opened in ages, and certainly not one you had expected Spencer to know anything about. You blinked, momentarily confused, trying to piece together the leap in conversation.
"Felix? How are they?" Spencer repeated, his interest seemingly piqued by your reaction—or perhaps just his natural inclination toward thorough understanding.
You paused, standing now in the doorway of your office, the background hum of computer servers providing a soft soundtrack to this unexpected moment. "Um, I don't know," you admitted, still trying to navigate the strange turn the conversation had taken.
"Oh, I’m so sorry, did you two separate?" Spencer’s tone was filled with genuine apology, his face reflecting concern.
You managed a small, somewhat awkward laugh, finding both the absurdity and the sudden intimacy of the conversation slightly overwhelming. "Well, yes. A long while ago." Your response came out lighter than you felt, the surprise of the question making your heart race for reasons other than your usual nervousness around Spencer.
As Spencer absorbed your response, his expression remained unreadable, a common trait when he was deep in thought or processing information. He nodded, perhaps filing away the conversation for later reflection, before excusing himself with a polite but somewhat distant farewell. His departure was quick, efficient, the way he typically transitioned back to work, yet it left a trail of questions in its wake.
You watched him go, a blend of relief and curiosity mingling in your thoughts. The inquiry into your personal life was uncharacteristic of Spencer, who usually maintained a strict boundary between professional and personal discussions, at least when it came to initiating such topics himself. The interaction lingered in your mind, an outlier in the usual pattern of your interactions.
"Maybe it's because Elle isn't here," you thought silently, turning back to your computer.
After leaving your office, Spencer quickly texted Elle to update her that you were no longer seeing Felix, contrary to their assumption. Elle replied enthusiastically with two thumbs up, urging him to ask you out soon or she would take the opportunity herself.
—
Throughout the week, with Penelope, Elle, and Derek away, the dynamic at the BAU shifted noticeably. Spencer seemed to step out of his usual reserved demeanor, engaging more frequently, particularly with you. His attempts at conversation often appeared to teeter on the edge of something beyond mere professional interest, though it was so subtle that it often flew under your radar.
Tuesday morning, Spencer leaned against the counter, watching you struggle with the temperamental coffee machine that had decided today was the day to revolt. "You know, statistically, manual coffee presses have a lower failure rate compared to electric ones," he commented, a slight quirk to his lips.
You glanced at him, chuckling lightly, "Is that so? Maybe I should switch, then."
"Yeah, and they make better coffee. Maybe I could show you how to use one sometime?" His tone was casual, but there was a tentative note to it, almost hopeful.
As the coffee machine finally sputtered to life, producing a somewhat decent cup of coffee, Spencer’s offer lingered in the air, subtly altering the atmosphere between you. His suggestion about the manual coffee press had been light, almost playful, but it carried an undercurrent of personal interest that left you unexpectedly flustered. Despite this, you masked your reaction with a casual nod, trying to maintain an even keel.
"Sure, I could always use better coffee," you responded, your voice steady despite the slight quickening of your heartbeat. You focused on fixing your coffee, adding just the right amount of cream and sugar, using the mundane task as a moment to collect your thoughts.
Spencer watched you for a moment, perhaps sensing the shift in your demeanor but respecting the boundary you subtly enforced with your nonchalant reply. His smile was gentle, not pushing further, as he too turned his attention back to preparing his own drink.
Wednesday at lunch you sat in the break room flipping through case files, Spencer slid into the seat across from you with his own lunch—a homemade sandwich seemingly crafted with meticulous care. "I read somewhere that sharing meals can enhance group bonding and individual rapport," he began, looking directly at you with an earnest expression.
You looked up, smiling at the factoid, you loved hearing Spencer talk. He was always so endearing. "That sounds about right. Food does bring people together."
"Maybe we could test that theory. There's a new Thai place nearby that’s supposed to be great," he suggested, his voice smooth but slightly hurried.
"That would be an interesting experiment," you agreed, your thoughts inadvertently glossing over Spencer's subtle personal invitation. Instead, your mind wandered to the social dynamics of the team, or perhaps more pointedly, the possibility of Spencer going out with Elle without having to extend a direct invitation—an idea that stoked a twinge of jealousy, burning in your stomach like an ugly green monster.
Spencer nodded, his expression shifting subtly as he detected the undercurrent of your thoughts, interpreting them as disinterest in a personal outing. He tried to mask any hint of disappointment, maintaining his typical composed demeanor. Internally, however, he wrestled with the sting of what felt like another missed connection, another attempt at reaching out quietly rebuffed.
"It would be a great way to explore some new flavors... maybe just the two of us first, to see if it’s worth recommending to the team?" His tone was measured, carefully modulating between casual and sincere, revealing his hope that this might pave the way to a more personal connection between the two of you.
Despite his clear wording, your mind twisted his intentions, clouded by the assumption that his ultimate aim was to impress Elle upon her return. This idea gnawed at you, the thought of being potentially used as a stepping stone in Spencer’s strategy to engage Elle more personally. It tainted the sincerity you might have otherwise perceived in his proposal.
"Yeah, that sounds like a good plan," you responded, trying to mask your feelings with a nod and a polite smile. "Testing it out sounds sensible... then we can tell Elle and the rest if it's good." Your voice carried a hint of forced cheerfulness as you inadvertently redirected the focus back to Elle, reinforcing your misinterpretation of Spencer's motives.
Spencer noticed the subtle shift in your tone, the slight stiffness in your smile. He paused, a flicker of confusion crossing his features as he tried to gauge whether his message had been misunderstood. "Yes, of course," he agreed, his voice faltering slightly as he picked up on your emphasis on Elle. Disappointment edged into his heart, sensing a barrier he hadn't anticipated—one that perhaps wasn't his to cross just yet.
He nodded slowly, offering a gentle smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. "I'll send you the details later then," Spencer added, stepping back to give you space, his mind busy piecing together where the conversation had veered off track.
Thursday while you were digging through old case files in the archives, Spencer wandered in, ostensibly looking for a book. He lingered by your side, helping to shift the heavy tomes. "You know, there's this book on cognitive science I think you'd really like. It talks about pattern recognition and emotional intelligence in ways I think you'd find fascinating," he offered, his fingers brushing against yours as he handed you a different file.
"Sounds intriguing," you responded, your attention still partially on the file in your hands. The hint of a smile played at the corners of your mouth, touched by the realization that Spencer was not only paying attention to your interests but was actively thinking about ways to engage with you on a more personal level.
"I could lend it to you. We could discuss it over coffee?" Spencer's suggestion came with a hopeful undertone, as gentle and tentative as the expression in his eyes.
Your reaction, however, was immediate and unexpected—a sudden choke on your spit as his words caught you off guard. A brief fit of coughing ensued, and Spencer's concern was quick to surface. He reached out instinctively, placing a comforting hand on your back with a gentle touch. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.
The unexpected contact made you jolt, a reflexive response to the sudden intimacy of his touch. Realizing your reaction, Spencer quickly withdrew his hand, a flash of disappointment crossing his features as he stepped back, giving you space.
"Yeah, I'm fine, sorry," you managed to laugh it off, though your cheeks burned with embarrassment. You tried to smooth over the moment, still recovering from the unexpected cough and the even more unexpected contact.
Spencer's response was gentle, a soft nod accompanying his words. "It's okay, I'll, uh, see you upstairs," he said, stepping back with a hesitant smile. His decision to not press the coffee invitation further reflected his respect for your comfort, but inwardly, he felt he might have missed his opportunity for the day.
As he turned to leave, the brief contact and your embarrassed reaction replayed in his mind, leaving him wondering about the right approach to take next time. His intentions had been straightforward, but the execution hadn't gone as smoothly as he hoped. The way your eyes had widened, the laughter that followed the cough—it all suggested a mix of emotions that he couldn't quite decipher.
Watching him walk away, you felt a pang of regret. His retreat made you realize that your reaction might have been misinterpreted as discomfort, rather than the surprise and nervous excitement you actually felt. The idea of discussing a book over coffee with Spencer genuinely appealed to you, and you wished you could convey that without the awkwardness of the moment overshadowing it.
Gathering your thoughts, you considered reaching out to him later to clarify your interest, maybe even suggest a specific day for that coffee. The day hadn't gone as either of you planned, but it wasn't over yet, and perhaps there was still a chance to turn it around.
Friday afternoon as you both waited for the elevator, Spencer tried again, this time a bit more directly. "Did you know that the probability of meeting someone compatible is surprisingly high within work environments?"
You raised an eyebrow, trying to steady the rapid thumping of your heart. "Really now? I guess we’re in the right place, then."
"Yes, exactly," Spencer agreed, a bit more eagerly than you expected. "It’s like... finding the right piece in a puzzle."
"Like solving a case?" you asked, your voice shrinking with uncertainty, afraid that, once again, he had someone else in mind—someone who fit into his world effortlessly, maybe a profiler like Elle.
"Yeah," he smiled warmly, his eyes soft as they focused on you. "Just like solving a case."
Your heart cracked a little at his words. You interpreted the metaphor differently, convinced he was searching for someone like the other brilliant profilers on the team—someone you believed you could never be. With a forced smile, you said quietly, "Well, looks like you need a profiler-shaped puzzle piece then."
Spencer’s brow furrowed slightly, a flicker of confusion crossing his face as you stepped into the elevator. He stood there, frozen, not understanding the weight behind your words or why you seemed so distant.
As the elevator doors slid shut, he replayed the conversation in his mind, his heart sinking as he realized something wasn’t connecting. He had been trying to tell you, in his own way, that he was interested in you, that you were the piece he was talking about. But somehow, despite his best efforts, the message kept slipping through your fingers. Why weren’t you getting it? Why did every attempt seem to fall short?
Spencer watched the elevator descend, a sinking feeling settling in his chest. He had been so certain of his feelings for you, and yet, with every attempt, it felt like they drifted further away, lost in the unspoken misunderstandings between you.
—
When the freshly bronzed trio returned from their vacation, Spencer, seemingly on edge, wasted no time in seeking out Elle, his face etched with a mix of hope and frustration.
“So? Did you do it?” Elle asked eagerly as soon as they were within speaking distance, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. “Did she say yes?”
Spencer’s response was laden with disappointment. “Every time I try to ask her out, she thinks it’s a friendly suggestion, or—or she even mentioned you one time like I was thinking about you!” He ran his hand through his hair in exasperation, clearly puzzled by the recurring miscommunication.
Elle couldn’t help but laugh slightly, though her lips were closed, trying to mask her amusement at the situation. Spencer, on the other hand, whined in annoyance, “What?” He genuinely didn’t understand what he was missing.
With a fond smile, Elle prodded further, “Reid, how did you ask? And what did she say?” Her voice was gentle, coaxing him to unpack the details.
Spencer recapped all the moments from the past week—the coffee machine incident, the lunch invitation, the casual chat in the archives, and the awkward elevator conversation. Each retelling showcased his subtle, cerebral approach to what he thought were clear invitations.
“Oh, boy genius,” Elle said teasingly once he finished, her tone light but her words cutting to the heart of the issue. “I think I see the problem here.”
“What? What is it?” Spencer asked, desperation and confusion in his voice.
Elle placed her hand on his arm, a gesture meant to be comforting but one that did not escape your notice, intensifying the ache in your heart. “She thinks you’re interested in me!” Elle revealed, her insight sharp.
“Why would she think that?” Spencer asked, his bewilderment evident. The connection between his actions and your perception seemed utterly foreign to him.
Elle’s explanation was straightforward, “Because, Spencer, every time you make an attempt, it’s so subtle and wrapped in layers of intellect that it’s easy for her to miss the romantic intent.”
Her words seemed to pierce through the fog of confusion surrounding Spencer. The realization that his attempts at expressing romantic interest were getting lost in translation—or rather, lost in his own intellectual approach—was a revelation. He nodded slowly, the gears turning as he processed this new insight.
“Plus, if she’s mentioning me and no one else, she must think you’re looking for ways to take me out!” Elle added, emphasizing her point with a light chuckle, though her eyes remained sympathetic to Spencer’s plight.
The weight of Elle’s explanation settled heavily on Spencer. It dawned on him how his interactions, though well-intentioned, might appear to others, especially to you. His style, inherently analytical and often indirect, had inadvertently sent the wrong signals, steering your thoughts towards a narrative where he was interested in Elle rather than clarifying his feelings for you.
This misunderstanding struck a chord within him. Spencer had always prided himself on his communication skills when it came to the nuances of unsubs and case theories. Yet, here he was, stumped by personal emotions and interpersonal communications that veered off course.
“Okay, so... I’ve been too subtle,” Spencer acknowledged, almost to himself as much as to Elle. “And she’s misreading the subtlety as disinterest—or worse, interest directed at someone else.”
Elle nodded, squeezing his arm gently. “Exactly, Spencer. You’re thinking like a profiler trying to decipher hidden meanings, but sometimes, directness is key. Maybe it’s time to just tell her how you feel, plainly and clearly. No puzzles, no hints.”
“But—but what if she’s not interested?” Spencer stammered, the creeping sense of insecurity wrapping around him like a heavy blanket. His confidence from earlier was starting to erode. “I mean, she did turn me down on multiple occasions,” he added, his voice softening with self-doubt.
Elle sent him a playful glare, her expression one of disbelief. “Be serious, Reid,” she said, her tone firm but affectionate. “Everyone here can see that she’s into you. Ask anyone.”
Without giving Spencer a chance to stop her, Elle raised her voice, calling across the room, “Hey, JJ!”
Spencer's eyes widened in panic, his face flushing. “Elle! No!” His voice cracked as he tried to stop her, but it was too late.
JJ approached the two of them, a curious smile on her face as she looked between Spencer and Elle. “What’s up, you guys?” she asked, her easy going demeanor not yet aware of the situation she was about to walk into.
“Do you think Y/N is into anyone? Should we set her up?” Elle asked with a mischievous smirk, clearly enjoying Spencer’s discomfort.
JJ’s reaction was immediate—she burst into laughter, glancing between Elle and the now-mortified Spencer. “Are you kidding?!” she laughed, unable to believe the question was even being asked.
“No! Do you have anyone in mind?” Elle pushed, her smirk widening as she kept the act going.
Spencer looked like he wanted to sink into the floor, his mortification plain as he stood there frozen. His mind raced, desperate to find a way to steer the conversation away from himself. But JJ, still chuckling, fixed her gaze directly on Spencer, her expression turning to amused confusion.
“Spencer? Duh! She’s basically in love with you!” JJ declared, her blunt response leaving no room for misunderstanding.
Spencer blinked in disbelief, his mind stumbling over the directness of JJ's words. "W-What?" he stammered, his heart pounding in his chest.
JJ just shook her head, laughing softly. “Reid, it's so obvious. Trust me, you should ask her out.”
"Right," Spencer exhaled heavily, the weight of his nerves tangible in that single word. His eyes followed JJ as she walked away, her knowing smile and shake of her head a clear sign that she was rooting for him.
Elle, observing the entire interaction, turned back to Spencer with a look of determination. “Do you believe me now? You just need to be blunt,” she said firmly, reinforcing the advice with her unwavering gaze. Her stance was one of staunch support, wanting to push Spencer past his habitual overthinking.
Spencer nodded, feeling a bit more fortified by the support of his colleagues. Elle’s insistence on being blunt was exactly the nudge he needed. It was clear that subtlety had not served him well in this arena, and it was time for a change in strategy.
—
Throughout the week, Spencer made several more attempts to ask you out, each time with a bit more directness than the last, but somehow the message never quite landed. Each time deepening his frustration and your oblivious disappointment.
Spencer joined you at the coffee machine again, a site of many a casual encounter but today, he was armed with determination. "I was thinking," he began, carefully measuring his words, "that maybe you and I could try that new café downtown this Saturday."
You smiled, stirring your coffee absentmindedly, your mind on a deadline you were close to missing. "That sounds like a great break from work. It’ll be good to get the team out and about. Should I send an email to everyone?"
Spencer’s heart sank a little. "Uh, well, I meant more like a... never mind. Yes, let’s get everyone involved," he conceded, hiding his disappointment.
In the midst of discussing a particularly complex case, Spencer tried to weave in a personal invitation as naturally as he could. "And after we wrap this up, maybe you’d like to join me for dinner? I know a place that’s quiet, great for discussing... cases."
You nodded, focused intensely on the case details. "Oh yeah! I already told Pen I’d grab dinner with her after the case, do you want to join us?"
Spencer’s heart sank just a bit as he adjusted his glasses, a gesture that had become a telltale sign of his internal resignation. His intention of a quiet dinner, meant to create a private space for you and him, vanished with your invitation to Penelope. Still, he managed a smile, not wanting his disappointment to show.
“Sure, that sounds great,” Spencer replied, trying to keep his tone light and cheerful. Inside, however, he was strategizing his next move, wondering how he could ever convey his feelings without the constant backdrop of the team.
As the day progressed, his mind kept circling back to the conversation. He appreciated your inclusiveness—always making sure no one felt left out, a trait he admired deeply. Yet, he couldn’t help but wish for a moment where it could just be the two of you, away from the dynamics and distractions of the team.
As you both walked to the parking lot after a long day, Spencer decided to be as clear as he could. "I enjoy spending time with you," he said earnestly. "I was hoping we could maybe go out this weekend, just you and me. What do you think?"
You paused, turning to face him with a puzzled smile, unaware of the mounting frustration behind his calm demeanor. "Sure. What do you want to do? I heard of a nightclub that's supposed to have a disco on Saturdays, we could see if everyone is interested?”
Spencer’s patience, worn thin from repeated attempts, finally faltered. “That doesn’t really sound like my scene,” he replied, a note of desperation creeping into his voice as he motioned between the two of you. “Could we go somewhere more subdued? Just us?”
The simplicity of his request, paired with the intensity of his gesture, made you pause. "You want to hang out? With just me?" you asked, a hint of confusion lacing your words.
“Yes!” Spencer exclaimed, his voice echoing a bit louder than he intended in the quiet space between conversations around you. His hands were in the air, a gesture of his exasperation and earnestness. Realizing how his reaction might have seemed, he quickly lowered his hands and softened his tone. “I mean, yes, I would like to spend time with you. Just us. Maybe somewhere quiet where we can talk. Just... talk.”
Your heart was beating so fast you could barely contain it, “Just the two of us?”
The realization struck you fully now, the words "just the two of us" hanging in the air, tinged with possibility. Spencer nodded, his eyes earnest and hopeful, watching for your reaction.
"Yes, just the two of us," he confirmed, his voice steadier now, filled with a quiet intensity. His gaze never wavered from yours, as if trying to convey all the sincerity he felt directly into your heart.
Your heart raced with the understanding of what he was asking, the implications of this simple request suddenly reshaping the narrative you had constructed in your mind about his feelings. The thought that Spencer, with his brilliant mind and shy demeanor, wanted to spend time alone with you, not for a case discussion or team outing but for something personal, sent a thrill of excitement mixed with nervous anticipation through you.
"Yeah, Spencer," you grinned, your heart still racing but excitement slowly overtaking your nerves. "That sounds nice. Um, I'm free Saturday."
"Saturday works for me," Spencer nodded, his own smile broadening with quiet confidence. "I'll call you?"
You nodded quickly, almost too eagerly, but you didn’t care. "Yeah, mhm, that sounds perfect."
For a moment, you both stood there, a shared anticipation buzzing in the air between you, neither wanting to break the connection just yet. When Spencer finally turned to leave, you found yourself smiling uncontrollably, the prospect of Saturday lingering in your mind, a warmth spreading through you that hadn't been there before.
—
Your excitement about the upcoming date with Spencer bubbled within you, yet you chose to keep it close to your chest. The thrill of it all felt so fragile, like a dream you didn’t want to jinx by sharing too soon with the rest of the team. This cautious optimism marked your days, turning ordinary moments into a series of hopeful glances at the calendar as Saturday approached.
Meanwhile, Spencer found himself seeking counsel from Elle, who was all too eager to lend her expertise, not just on potential date activities but on the more intimate aspects of dating as well, particularly women. Knowing Spencer’s limited experience—his only kiss having been with Lila Archer during a particularly intense case—Elle took it upon herself to offer some advice.
“Okay, Spencer, listen,” Elle began, her tone both serious and sisterly. “If the moment feels right and you think you want to kiss her, make sure you read her signals. It’s all about mutual understanding and respect, right?”
Spencer nodded, absorbing every word. Elle continued, “Make eye contact, see how she responds. If she seems receptive, maybe lean in halfway and let her meet you the rest of the way. It’s a two-way street.”
“Halfway,” Spencer repeated, mentally noting the advice. Elle’s directness and her willingness to discuss these details without any embarrassment provided him with a strange comfort.
“And, Reid, just be yourself. You’re a great guy. Let that show,” Elle added, giving him an encouraging pat on the shoulder.
Spencer felt nerves and gratitude at Elle’s advice, it was straightforward and practical, and helped ground him. He trusted her judgment, appreciating her sharing of her personal experience, especially when it came to navigating relationships—something he found infinitely more complex than the most puzzling cases.
—
The phone call on Saturday morning added to the bubbling excitement of the upcoming date. Spencer’s voice was clear and a tad nervous, which you found endearing. He promised a unique experience and asked you not to wear black, a request that piqued your curiosity and set your mind racing with possibilities. What kind of place would require such a specific dress code? The mystery only heightened your anticipation.
You quickly texted him your address, along with a playful note about your curiosity regarding the attire guidelines. Spencer replied with a simple smiley face, keeping the details of the date under wraps, which intrigued you even more.
As you prepared for the evening, you chose an outfit that was comfortable yet charming, avoiding black as instructed. The time leading up to Spencer’s arrival seemed to crawl by, each minute stretching longer than the last. You found yourself glancing at your reflection, adjusting your hair, and double-checking everything, ensuring you were ready when he arrived.
Finally, the sound of a car pulling up snapped you out of your reverie. Glancing out the window, you saw Spencer stepping out of his car, looking around with a nervous excitement that matched your own.
As you stepped outside, your nerves fluttered slightly, but your smile was genuine when you saw Spencer waiting by his car. Waving shyly, you greeted him, "Hi, Spencer."
Spencer looked up, his eyes lighting up as he took in your appearance. "Y/N, you look great," he breathed out, his compliment wrapped in a warm smile that seemed to ease some of the tension between you.
"Thanks, I like your cardigan," you replied, noting the soft, well-worn cardigan he wore that somehow made him look even more approachable and endearing.
His smile widened at the compliment, and he seemed to relax a bit more. "Thanks! It's an old favorite," he admitted, holding the car door open for you.
As you both stepped into the cozy, softly-lit space filled with the gentle sounds of purring and the occasional meow, Spencer immediately began sharing interesting facts about cats. “Did you know that ancient Egyptians considered cats sacred and even had a goddess named Bastet who was depicted as a lioness?” he said, looking into your eyes as you walked past a playful tabby.
Your response was a mix of admiration and amusement. “I didn’t know you were an expert on ancient cultures too,” you teased, feeling comfort and excitement as Spencer chuckled softly, clearly enjoying the opportunity to share his knowledge.
While playing with a particularly friendly cat, Spencer used the opportunity to flirt in his unique way. He gently lifted the cat, holding it out towards you. “It’s interesting how animals can facilitate social interactions, isn’t it? For instance, it's been found that people are more likely to engage in conversations in the presence of animals. They act as social lubricants.”
You laughed, reaching out to pet the cat and feeling a bit flustered by his proximity and the way he looked at you when talking about social dynamics. “Is that your subtle way of telling me you needed a furry wingman for our date?”
Spencer grinned, a hint of mischief in his eyes. “Maybe, but it seems to be working, doesn’t it?”
“I don't know, say lubricant again,” you teased. Spencer's grin widened at your playful challenge, and the atmosphere between you sparked with a shared humor that made the moment light and enjoyable.
He leaned in slightly, adopting a mock-serious tone, "Lubricant," he repeated, emphasizing the word, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
You laughed even harder, your eyes bright with amusement. "Hearing you say 'lubricant' is so funny!"
Spencer, caught up in your joy, couldn’t help but laugh along. “Why?” he asked, his own grin wide as your laughter proved infectious.
"It’s just... it can be a dirtier word," you giggled, trying to explain through your laughter. "And I can’t imagine our resident genius using the word lubricant!"
Spencer's laughter joined yours, ringing out genuinely as he caught the playful jab. The lightness of the moment brought a relaxed glow to his features. "I assure you, the application of the word was purely scientific," he teased back, still chuckling.
The café around you seemed to buzz with the warmth of your shared amusement, creating an intimate bubble amidst the quiet hum of other patrons and the soft padding of cat paws. "I suppose," Spencer continued, his smile lingering, "I should be more careful with my vocabulary around you. You're giving me a whole new perspective on language."
Your laughter gradually subsided into a series of light chuckles, but your eyes were bright with delight. "I think I like this side of you, Spencer," you said, a playful sincerity in your voice. "It’s nice to see you in a different light, not just as the genius profiler but also someone who can joke around about...lubricants."
Spencer's eyes softened, clearly touched by your words. "I'm glad," he said softly, his voice carrying a note of appreciation. "It’s not often I get to show this side, and I’m happy to share it with you."
As you observed the cats seemingly gravitate towards Spencer, who seemed both amused and delighted by their attention, an idea sparked in your mind. It was the perfect segue into a lighthearted flirtation, mixing your shared love for animals with a touch of mystical charm.
"You know, it’s said that animals, especially cats, have a keen sense of good and bad," you started, watching Spencer's reaction as a particularly fluffy cat chose his lap as its new throne. "They're often drawn to people with good auras. I guess they must sense something pretty great about you."
Spencer looked up, his expression a mix of surprise and pleasure at your comment. He laughed softly, a sound that warmed you to the core. "Is that so? Well, I must be on the right track then. Maybe they sense my excellent choice in company for this evening," he replied smoothly, his gaze locking with yours in a moment charged with a gentle intensity as a cat nuzzled its way into your lap as well.
Your heart fluttered slightly at his words, and you smiled, feeling a blush rise to your cheeks. "Oh, so we’re using cat behavior to gauge our decisions now?" you teased back, leaning in a little closer. "In that case, I think they’re on to something because I’m feeling pretty good about my choice too."
Spencer’s smile widened, and he reached over to gently nudge a playful kitten back onto the table, his actions thoughtful and tender. "I'll take that as a high compliment, coming from someone who clearly knows her way around cats and their mysterious ways," he said, his voice soft but filled with an underlying warmth that suggested he was as affected by the exchange as you were.
As the evening wound down, and the café began to prepare for closing, Spencer drove you home. The conversation flowed effortlessly, and you found yourself sharing little anecdotes from your childhood, while Spencer listened intently, always eager to learn more about you.
Before you knew it, you were standing in front of your home. The end of the evening had come too quickly, a sentiment you both silently acknowledged as you lingered at the doorstep, not quite ready to say goodbye.
"Y/N...I had a really nice time today," he said, his voice carrying a warmth that seemed to wrap the evening in a perfect close.
"Me too, Spencer, thank you for asking me. I was kind of shocked," you admitted, your words sincere and open. The evening had unfolded beautifully, but part of you had still been wrestling with the disbelief that it was all really happening.
"Really? Why?" Spencer's curiosity was piqued, his gaze intent on you, wanting to understand more.
You smiled shyly, a nervous habit kicking in as you rubbed behind your ear. "I just... liked you for so long, I never thought you were interested in me too," you confessed, the words tumbling out more easily than you'd expected. The truth had been a quiet companion for so long, and saying it aloud to Spencer felt both freeing and terrifying.
Spencer's expression softened even further, a gentle understanding coloring his features. "Y/N, I’ve been trying to ask you out for two weeks," he confessed. His chuckle was light, trying to ease the tension.
Spencer's revelation brought a mix of relief and amusement. "Really? I had no idea you were trying," you replied, a smile breaking across your face, reflecting both the surprise and joy of the moment.
He nodded, a bit of sheepishness showing through his usual composed demeanor. "Yes, it turns out I'm not as skilled in expressing personal interest as I am with criminal profiles," he admitted, his light laughter mingling with yours.
The air between you felt lighter, a shared understanding dawning that, despite the initial miscommunications, there was a genuine and mutual interest. "Well, I'm glad you kept trying," you said, your tone sincere. "And I'm sorry I didn't pick up on it sooner. I guess I was just scared to get my hopes up."
Spencer reached across the small space between you, his hand hesitating just a moment before gently taking yours. "No more missed signals, okay? Let's promise to be more straightforward with each other," he suggested, his gaze steady and reassuring.
You nodded, squeezing his hand in agreement, feeling a warmth spread through you at the contact. "It's a deal," you responded, your heart feeling both settled and exhilarated by the new promise laid between you.
“So... in honor of being straightforward…” Spencer began, his voice soft but steady, a shy smile playing on his lips. He stepped closer to you, his eyes searching yours, a quiet vulnerability in his gaze. Gently, he took both of your hands in his, his touch warm and reassuring. “Can I kiss you?”
Your heart raced, the moment feeling both tender and surreal. The way he held your hands, the genuine care in his voice—it was everything you'd hoped for, wrapped in Spencer’s uniquely thoughtful way. You felt yourself nod before you even spoke, your breath catching slightly. “Yes,” you whispered, smiling softly, your eyes never leaving his.
Spencer’s smile deepened with relief and excitement. Slowly, he leaned in, his movements deliberate and gentle, giving you every moment to close the gap as well. When your lips finally met, it was soft, sweet, and full of the promise that had been building between you for so long. The world seemed to pause, leaving just the two of you in that quiet, intimate moment, finally aligned in your shared feelings.
When you pulled back, there was a brief silence before you both laughed lightly, the tension melting away completely. "That was… nice," Spencer said, his voice low, his smile radiating warmth.
"Yeah, it really was," you agreed, still feeling the butterflies in your chest as you held onto his hands just a little tighter.
“Oh, and for the record,” Spencer chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he took in your reaction, “I don’t like Elle—romantically, of course. She’s my best friend.”
Your face flushed with sudden embarrassment, realizing he'd caught on to your earlier assumptions. “Oh, I—well, uh...” you stammered, struggling to find the right words.
Spencer's smile remained soft and reassuring. “It’s okay, Y/N,” he said warmly, squeezing your hands gently. “Elle is super gay, not sure how you missed that, and... I really like you.”
His words, so genuine and direct, melted away the last bit of tension you’d been holding onto. You laughed lightly, the awkwardness dissolving into relief. “Well, that’s good to know,” you said with a grin, finally allowing yourself to fully relax into the moment.
Spencer's grin mirrored yours as he added, “I just wanted to clear that up. No more misunderstandings.” His gaze softened as he looked at you, the weight of unspoken feelings now out in the open.
“No more misunderstandings,” you agreed, feeling the warmth of his words and the certainty that everything between you was finally where it should be.

Best Friend Rafe x Reader Boat Day
Warnings: None (yet), fluff, soft rafe, yearning
“AH! What are you doing here?!” You screamed in utter fright as you stepped into your room, only to see Rafe lying on your bed. You were fresh from the shower and not at all expecting a presence to be waiting for you.
“You haven’t seen me in a week, and that’s how you greet me?” Rafe questioned as he sat up, resisting a smirk to rise on his lips as you were only covered by a skimpy white towel. You roll your eyes and sigh, a smile coming to your lips, moving to your vanity to do your after-shower rituals, not at all conscious of your lack of clothing because you and your best friend Rafe were used to such scenes.
“Seriously, what are you doing here?” You questioned, eyes locking with ocean one through the mirror where Rafe studied you as you lathered your face with differing products. “I haven’t seen you in a week. What? You didn’t miss me at all?” He raised his brow, and you laughed at the pretend hurt on his face. “How were the Bahamas?” You asked and stood, disregarding his question, and instead went to your closet to find something to wear. “Fine. It’d be better if you came,” He shrugged and peaked as you tried to decide what to wear. Catching the way you bent down to wear your underwear and shorts, your body still covered by a towel. Any sense of boundaries in your friendship seemed to disappear after years of knowing one another. Rafe smirked as you stepped out of your closet wearing one of his shirts that you stole from him.
You sat next to him in bed, “It was a family vacation; I didn’t want to impose.” You shrugged. “So what’d you do while I was away? Sniff my shirts because you just miss me that much?” You scoffed a laugh and rolled your eyes at the smirk on his lips. “Sure, yeah, I just stared into your picture, counting down the days until you came back.” You went along with his bit. Rafe bit his lip and hoped you were telling the truth, but alas, he could only dream.
“No, I uh— I mostly just stayed home, baked a bit. And played tennis; there’s a new instructor at the club; he’s cute— really great at tennis, too.” Rafe was quick to grow tense at your words, jealousy quickly spiking in him. “But he’s gay, so…” You added, and that eased the green-eyed monster in him. “Hm, what you wanna do today?” Rafe asked, wanting to change the subject.
“Mm… I dunno, I kinda want to go to the beach.” You say, and Rafe nodded, “Then let’s go,” he quickly said. “But I also kinda just wanna hang out here,” You said, indecisive. “Then let’s hang out here,” Rafe responded, willing to do anything just as long you were in his company. You sighed and pursed your lips. “I don’t know, you pick!” You exclaimed, Rafe amused by your inability to make even the most measliest of decisions.
“Wanna go on the boat? We could sail around, get some food, and catch the sunset,” He proposed and smiled as you eagerly nodded. Going to your closet to change your attire once more, Rafe shuffled in your room to get one of your bags and pack some things he knew you would need. “What book do you want?” He asked as he placed some towels in your bag, already anticipating you’d want to bring a book for the day, as you always did. “The one by my nightstand!” You yelled from the closet, trying to decide what color bathing suit to wear. Rafe took the book into his hand and smiled as he saw that you used a photo booth picture of the two of you as your bookmark.
Rafe squired you around town, getting the necessary things for your day in the boat—a lunch from your favorite restaurant and a pint of your favorite ice cream. When you arrived at the marina, Rafe could practically feel your excitement. He was quick to disembark his truck and open the door for you, swinging your bag on his shoulder as he escorted you to his family’s boat. As the sun rose higher and higher and the view of the island drew further, you and Rafe decided to have your lunch, but before the two of you could eat, you stepped and appeared with a giant thing of sunscreen in your hands.
“I wanna eat,” Rafe grumbled as you sat next to him, placing sunscreen on his face. Your soft hands sent chills down his spine no matter how blaring the island sun was. He kept on complaining, saying he didn’t need sunscreen, but it did nothing to hinder you from traveling your hands along his chest and back as you applied for protection from the sun. “Men don’t need sunscreen,” Rafe grumbled as he watched you apply more of the lotion on his forearms. “You say that, but even men are not immune to melanoma,” You chirped, “Okay, all done!” You said you applied sunscreen to yourself as well; Rafe was waiting for you to finish before he started to eat.
“Can you get my back?” You innocently asked, handing Rafe the tube. Rafe swallowed as you turned your back to him. Trying not to succumb to his urges because it would surely be obvious from the swimming trunks he wore. Rafe messaged the sunscreen on your back and marveled at how soft your skin was, resisting his urges to ‘accidentally’ pull the string of your bikini top and let his fingers trail further your frame. “Al— All done,” Rafe struggled to say after a moment, taking his time to spread the lotion all over your back, savoring each moment you let him touch your skin.
You nodded and settled to his side as they both started to have lunch, but first, you took out a baby wipe and cleaned your hands. Rafe smiled fondly as you held his hands to clean them. He just loved how you fussed over him, how you were the only one who genuinely cared about his well-being.
The afternoon was spent with you and Rafe lounging on the deck of the boat. Rafe pointed your view to the setting sun, and your back was settled against his chest as you read him your book. Rafe had no idea about the words you uttered. All he focused upon was the feel of your frame flushed against his, your voice that soothed his mind, and the fantasy that perhaps one day, you two could be more than just mere best friends.

The Night We Met- Rafe Cameron x Fem!Reader
summary: rafe thinks you two met at a party years ago, but finds out you two had actually met a year before that. but why can’t he remember? and what happened that night?
warnings: major drug use, drug overdose, angst, mentions of alcohol, fluff, ooc rafe, suggestive content and defs cringy at the end lol. also might be a bit short? idek.
a/n: DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THE WARNINGS ABOVE don’t know how i feel about the ending but i’m gonna yolo it. thought of this idea/concept when i was listening to the song below:
“you know, i’m so fucking happy you said ‘yes’. i honestly don’t know what i would’ve done if you hadn’t” rafe spoke as he held Y/N in his arms, curled up in the bed at his father’s house in the bahamas. one arm wrapped around the young woman’s back as the other gripped her bare thigh against his hip. the young woman’s hand drew imaginary shapes against his chest before looking up into his deep blue eyes.
“i could never say the word ‘no’ to you my love. never. i’m yours. forever and always. you’re the best thing that’s happened to me and i’m so happy i’m finally a cameron” Y/N face cracked into a wide smile, as she continued to gaze into rafe’s eyes, as he broke into a rare, genuine smile. the two had just gotten married the night before, and were now just relaxing in the privacy of rafe’s, father’s home in the bahamas.
“im so happy we met. truly, i am. i love you baby” rafe whispered down to his newly wedded wife, moving his hand from holding her bare thigh, to push back a piece of her hair from her face, as he planted a gentle, but passionate kiss to her plump lips.
“i love you too hunny” she whispered as their lips detached from one another’s. “d-do you remember the night we met?” Y/N continued, swallowing the lump in her throat. she knew she’d have to tell him her secret eventually, and now seemed like the perfect time as they were about to spend the rest of their lives together.
“uh yeah… i think so? pretty sure it was that banger of a party top was having my senior year of high school. you had come to the party with sarah. you guys had only been friends for about a year or two by then? i couldn’t stop looking at you” rafe chuckled at the memory as he continued. “i got you on my team as we played beer pong… and we killed it. everyone else we went up against sucked so bad” rafe continued to hold her in his arms, looking down to admire the woman he’d just gotten so lucky to marry.
“uh… r-rafe um m-my love. c-can i tell you something?” Y/N stuttered out to rafe. she was so scared to tell him how wrong he was, but she knew it had to be done.
“babe, you know you can tell me anything. what is it?” rafe questioned, as his hand on her bare thigh, began to rub soothing circles into her soft skin.
“that’s not the night we met… um… do you remember that story you told me about your overdose incident you had when you were only seventeen?” Y/N whispered out, not wanting to upset rafe by bringing up a hard time from his past that he was never proud of.
“uh, yeah. i do. that night is kinda a blur still to this day. all i remember is doing a few too many lines and waking up in the kildare island hospital two days later. doctors said if whoever had made the call, called five minutes later i’d be dead. why?” he spoke softly, as he replayed the memories in his brain. he’s hurt so many people during that period of time. he wished he’d never even started doing the drug, but at the time he felt as if that was the only thing that could save him from himself.
the young woman began to shake involuntary, getting her lovers attention, “babe why are you shaking? did i go too hard earlier?” he chuckled out lightheartedly, trying to lighten her mood.
“i’m shaking because i feel bad for keeping something from you. and yeah you did go hard, but i’m not complaining…. but that’s besides the point. please hear me out and don’t get mad. i only did it to protect you” she rambled on as rafe’s facial expression changed from a smile, to a stone-cold look, going completely serious.
she took his silence and stare as a sign to continue on what she had been keeping from him for the last 5 years. “that night you overdosed, i had come over to tannyhill to talk to sarah about something a-and when i got there…. there was nobody home… u-until i walked past your room a-and you were just pacing back and forth like some crazy guy” Y/N sniffled out as she moved her hand from drawing imaginary shapes from rafe’s chest, to cradle his left cheek as she spoke.
Y/N had just arrived to tannyhill, as her and sarah had to start working on a school project soon. but as soon as she arrived to the house, it was completely empty. she was always welcomed in, even when nobody was home. rose and ward had adored her as soon as they’d met her six months before tonight. it also helped that Y/N family were close business partners with ward as well.
as soon as Y/N walked up the spiral staircase, calling out sarah’s name, to see if she was home, she rounded the corner trying to find sarah. instead of sarah, however she found sarah’s brother, pacing his room back and forth, mumbling words to himself. he’d seemed to be twitching, and almost shaking as he was pacing, alarming Y/N a small amount. she’s decided to step into his doorway to see if he was okay.
rafe’s eyes softened as his girl spoke of what really happened that night he’d almost died, nodding his head in her hand, signaling her to continue. “i approached you babe, and you started getting all paranoid, you were yelling at me, which i guess wasn’t that abnormal for you at the time from what i’d heard from others. you started marching over to me as you continued to yell, i think you were going to push me, but i don’t know, but then you just fell to the ground and started dry heaving involuntarily, as your breathing became unsteady. it scared me…. i’d never seen anyone like that before. b-but then y-you turned all pale and completely passed out. i-i didn’t know what to do so i ran over to you to see what happened” Y/N started to whimper, as a single tear fell from her tear duct, and rolled down her soft cheek.
“hey, rafe, right? it’s Y/N, sarah’s friend. are you okay? you don’t look too good” Y/N asked politely to the young teenage boy, who stopped his pacing to look up at the girl.
“who the hell are you? what are you doing in my house? huh?” the young man yelled, as he began to walk up towards the girl, ready to shove her out of his room, but before he could get close enough, he hunched over, involuntarily dry heaving, as his breathing became more rapid, drawing even more red flags in the young teenage girls brain.
his face started to turn as white as a ghost, before he ultimately lost consciousness completely, falling limp onto his bedroom floor. Y/N immediately ran over the boys sides to see what she could do.
rafe’s eyes began to water, as he stared down at Y/N, seeing her slowly crack and break down into his arms. something he had dwelled forever; seeing his lover heartbroken and distraught. he’d never wanted to see her this way. it ached him to see her this way, and to know he was the cause made it 10x worse. “b-baby, continue…. finish the story. i can take it” rafe’s voice cracked as he urged his lover to tell the rest of the story. he was in shambles at the moment, tears welling up in his eyes as they started to pour out one by one.
“as soon as i’d ran over to your body, i picked your head up, trying to talk to you. i was just trying to figure out what you had taken. but then i’d remembered hearing from sarah before that you’d been doing a lot of cocaine, but in all seriousness i don’t think anyone noticed how bad your addiction really was.” Y/N whispered out, as she relived that night in her head one more time. she soon continued, “i was trying to find a pulse as i still held your head in my arms. i could barely hear it, and your skin was on fire. i’d just assumed it was a drug overdose, s-so i called 9-1-1”
the young teenage girl cradled the young drug addict’s head in her arms carefully, immediately feeling the extreme heat radiating from his skin, alarming the girl further. why was he on fire? and why did he completely pass out? Y/N soon came to realization what was possibly happening as soon as she remembered the conversation her and sarah were having the week before. sarah had been complaining to Y/N about her brother’s ‘slight’ drug problem. the drug of his choice however had been cocaine. sarah was always telling her how everytime he’d do a line or two, he’d get extremely paranoid and more aggressive than normal.
“rafe, wake up” the worried girl cried out to the passed out boy. “rafe, what did you take? how much did you take?!” she cried out again, but no answer to avail. she huffed and puffed as she started to cry, trying to find a pulse. she could barely hear his heartbeat through his carotid artery. she could not be responsible for his possible drug overdose. she would not. so, Y/N grabbed her phone from her back pocket of her jeans, and dialed 9-1-1.
“9-1-1, what’s your emergency?” the older lady spoke through the phone.
“hi, um i need an ambulance to the Cameron estate at tannyhill immediately! there’s a possible cocaine drug overdose! please come quick! i-i don’t know how much longer h-he will keep breathing” Y/N weeped into her phone, as she tried to keep her cool.
“ma’am, i need you to calm down. what’s your name?” the older lady asked through the phone to the young distraught girl.
“y-Y/N. what’s yours?” Y/N asked the lady.
“my name is susannah. Y/N i need you to tell me if they’re still breathing.” susannah spoke calmly to the young girl.
“u-uh yeah, it’s super faint though. is he gonna die?!” Y/N started sobbing as she continued to cradle rafe’s head.
“Y/N… do you know what possible drug they could’ve overdosed on? and do you know how much they took? their height or weight?”
“h-he does cocaine i believe. or at least that’s what i’ve been told. he’s uh maybe 6’2ish? i’m not sure. i-i don’t know how much he did though. i-i’m not sure how much he weighs but i do know that hes more of a muscular build if that helps” Y/N stuttered out to susannah, the 9-1-1 dispatcher.
“okay, Y/N stay with me. take deep breaths. help is on the way” susannah continued to speak to Y/N.
“y-you we-were the one who called the a-ambulance?” rafe croaked out to Y/N as he finally cracked. he was a mess. tears streaming down his cheeks as he tried to hold in his sobs, but no longer could. he was so tired of fighting to not show any emotion, so he didn’t fight it anymore. he continued through his sobs, “y-you were m-my savior t-that night?” the young man was wrapping his head around the realization that his newly wedded wife was the angel that saved his life all those years ago when he almost ended it after taking too much of the white drug.
Y/N just softly nodded her head, “i was baby… i was. i know i should’ve told you sooner. but i didn’t, i-i wanted to protect you from knowing the full truth because i know you’re gonna beat yourself up over it. that’s how you are; you will get so mad at yourself for something you’ve done that you slowly start to hurt yourself. i can’t let that happen to you baby” Y/N engulfed him into a hug, as her arms cradled his head into her chest as he wept.
“as soon as the ambulance got there, the cops also arrived. i gave my statement and since i was under eighteen, for legal reasons, they never put my name in that statement. that’s why you never knew and why they never told you. my love…. d-don’t be mad please.” the young woman stuttered out, scared her new husband was mad at her.
rafe lifted his head from her chest, sniffling, “i-i could never be mad at you baby…. never. i-i wanna tell you w-what the doctors told m-my dad and i… can i tell you?” Y/N wiped away rafe’s tears that continuously leaked from his eyes, as she nodded in response, wanting to know everything he knew.
it took rafe a moment to compose himself then began, “when i woke up two days later, obviously i told you that the doctor said that if whoever hadn’t called when they did or even 5 minutes later i’d be dead. i never told you why that was”
“what do you mean my love?” Y/N softly spoke as she looked into rafe’s deep blue eyes, with a look of worry in her own eyes to know the truth.
“i mean… the cocaine i took that night had been laced with small amounts of fentanyl which is why i lost complete consciousness and almost stopped breathing. they had to give me three doses of NARCAN and wait for the best. my dad made sure to keep that part secret, because having all of his business partners know about my cocaine problem was bad enough. he didn’t want anyone to know i’d accidentally done fentanyl as well.” rafe sighed as he remembered the look on his father’s face when he woke up: pure disappointment.
“really rafe? really? cocaine overdose? laced with fentanyl?! how do you think that’s going to make the family look? huh? i’m going to have to pay people off from telling others. this cannot get out” ward went on to his son about how he’d screwed up. it’d only been a day since rafe had woken up from his small coma and ward was already being insensitive to the teenage boys drug problem.
“d-dad i’m sorry. i didn’t know how else to cope with my feelings. it was the only escape i had from feeling like shit. w-when i take it, i feel-i feel almost happy” rafe tried to explain to his father, who in return just scoffed harshly.
“rafe… you need to get your shit together. i’m so sick of you coming up with all these excuses. you keep this shit up and you’re out of the house. got it?” ward sneered back to his only son, who only cowered his head down and nodded in return.
“rafe… you never told me that. why?” Y/N asked sweetly as she continued to gaze into rafe’s blue eyes.
“i’m not proud of that moment in my life. i was embarrassed for so many years. my father paid off people from telling others. he was so disappointed in me. you should’ve seen the look in his eyes the day after i woke up.” rafe sighed softly as he spoke.
“hunny, i’m sorry you went through that. never feel embarrassed about your struggles. i hope you know that no matter what, i will always love you. i will never be disappointed in you. i know that’s different coming from me and not him, but just remember i’ll always be by your side” Y/N thought thoroughly as she spoke every word with love.
“after the overdose incident… and seeing how scared my sisters were, and rose, i wanted so badly to get clean but i couldn’t go to rehab because then word would get out and it’d ruin my father’s deals and business. so i had to do it myself. it took awhile… and it was hard. but i eventually did it. after meeting you, well, from when i thought we met for the first time, you gave me strength to stay clean even when i had the urges” rafe smiled through more tears as he looked down at his wife.
“my love, i’m so proud of you. nothing you went through was easy. i hope you know that. and i hope you know i love you so much and if you ever feel like you have an urge you tell me. got it?” she spoke softly as she still caressed his cheeks looking into his eyes and to his lips.
rafe leaned down, planting his lips onto Y/N, kissing them repeatedly, as did she, and planting one last kiss that was full of love and passion, then pulled away.
“i love you baby. you’re my everything. i promise to come to you if i ever need anything or have an urge. i promise to not hurt you like i did to others i love in the past. i won’t put you through all the shit i put everyone else through all those years ago” rafe smiled again down at Y/N.
“i love you too with all my heart. now prove your love mr cameron” Y/N smirked up at rafe as he chuckled loudly.
“your wish is my command… but are you up for it?” he raised an eyebrow in question with a smirk planted on his face.
“i think i’ve rested enough… just give it to me” she smirked as rafe leaned down placing his lips onto hers harshly, pulling away once more.
“got it mrs cameron. got it. i’m gonna give it to you now” he smirked as he flipped the two over so he was hovering over her again.
“love you” she smiled as there noses briskly touched.
“love you too, my savior. now how about some kids?”

Part 5- P4L
Warnings: small drug use, mentions of guns, this one’s an emotional roller coaster. Some soft!rafe
Summary: John B is back on the island, rafe teams up with Barry to go find the pogues, but what happens when the pogues find out you’re with them? What happened to P4L? What happened to you?
“Stay here.”
“Rafe, I’m not going to-“
“Stay here.” He repeated, firmly this time. You groaned, throwing your hands up in defeat and watching as he entered the trailer.
“Shit, you early.” Barry spoke, glancing up at the boy. He looked out when Rafe opened the door, seeing your figure waiting for him.
“You got my shit?”
“Yes, I’ve got your shit. Why’s she outside?” Barry said, putting the book he had on his lap aside. “You got my money?”
“None of your business. Yes I got your money.” Rafe went to sit next to him, lining the powder up.
“Also, I need a piece.”
Barry laughed at that. “Ohhh, shit! Country club killer now, huh? He need a piece, right?”
“Don’t!” He slammed the table. Looking up at Barry now, “Don’t mess with me. Not right now, alright?”
“What do you need a piece for?” Barry asked, leaning back onto the couch now.
“John B is back.”
“John B is dead, bro.”
“I saw him for myself in the Bahamas, all right? Then Kelce just told me he saw him scoring beer in town. So yeah, he’s back.”
Barry kicked the table, shattering some glass and breaking the legs.
“You realize it’s him… it’s him or me in this situation, right?”
“I understand, Rafe. You don’t need to tell me this shit, bro.” He stood up. “What you understand is you’re gonna need a hell of a lot more than just a piece, okay?”
You listened to them from outside, your ear pressed against the thin walls.
“What do you suggest then?”
“What you need is to go at this shit like a freaking soldier, bro.” He opened up a bag, pulling out a pistol. “Done with these kids.”
Rafe stood up now.” Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.” He sniffed, walking towards Barry.
“That’s what we need right here.”
He handed him the gun, Rafe caught it in Barry’s hands, the both of them touching it.
“We do this, you know I’ll take care of you. All right?”
What did you just get into? You thought to yourself, backing away from the door when you heard them stepping over to it. You just stood there, acting like you didn’t hear.
“C’mon. We got shit to do.” Rafe mumbled, motioning for you to come in.
—————
The pogues were outside the chateau, chugging and shotgunning cheap beer. Just having fun, living their lives.
And the three of you were on the road.
“I need to know who’s over here at John B’s spot.”
“I don’t know if he’s there. I just know he’s on the island.”
“That is a complete lack of discipline, homie-“
“Then what’s your suggestion? We’re about two minutes from the place-“
“What about you? What do you think? You know them best.” Barry asked, his eyes going to the mirror and looking at you in the back. You were caught off guard.
“No, I don’t want her involved in this shit.” Rafe quickly argued.
“You already got her involved, man. That’s on you,” Barry spoke, looking back at you for a moment, and throwing the backpack at you.
It was silent for a moment before you spoke up.
“Uhm… there’s probably gonna be Jj, Pope, Kiara, John B… and…” you hesitated.
“Sarah.” Rafe said, swallowing the lump in his throat. “I think we should just-“
“Why don’t you just follow my lead, just shut up for once? All right?”
“Recon, okay.”
They slowly drove up to the Chateau.
“This isn’t gonna like… kill them or anything?” You asked, eyeing the gun in your hands.
“tranquilo.”
“Tranquilo?” Rafe spoke quietly, leaning closer.
“Tranquilo, baby. Let’s be smart. Use our heads.”
“All right, let’s go.”
You hesitantly stepped out the car, following the two closely.
Your heart was beating out of your chest as you stepped up, hiding behind a bush. You just prayed your brother wasn’t here.
“Alright, I don’t see shit.”
“I’m gonna go inside. Flush them out if they’re in there. I want you to flank left, you go with him, meet me out there by the porch.”
Rafe looked back at you, Barry left to go inside. Rafe stayed back a moment.
“You okay?”
“I’m fine.” You lied. He could tell different though, your hands trembling.
He put his hand on top of yours, mumbling a “calm down.” Before getting up.
You stood up, looking around.
“Where the hell are you?” Rafe mumbled to himself.
“Is that y/n?” John B mouthed to Jj. His eyes landed on you, slowly walking. His eyes widened, and he nodded.
What were you doing with them?
You suddenly felt the eyes burning onto the back of your head. You looked up into the trees, still standing behind Rafe. They all looked at you, confused, and in shock.
Your eyes directly met your brothers, they were pleading.
They all hid back behind the branches, thinking you would say something when you turned back to Rafe.
But you didn’t. You kept your mouth shut, just glancing at those eyes once in a while.
—————
“Yo!” Rafe said when Barry left. “Anything?”
“No, ain’t shit in there, bro.”
“No? Nothing?”
“No, nothing, Rafe.”
“They were obviously just here based off the smoke.” He pointed to the wood.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, great observation, boy scout.”
“They probably left. It’s not the smartest to be at a fugitives house that’s actively under surveillance for a long time, If you are said fugitive.” You spoke up.
“Then they’re not far, you know?”
“Smokey the bear! Look at you, bro!”
“They gotta be around here somewhere.” Rafe said, he saw the tree.
“P4L.” Barry laughed.
Rafe pointed at it. “Well, shit.”
“So your sisters a pogue for life, huh, Rafe? Now who would’ve thought?”
You were at one point.
Rafe stared at it, nodding his head to himself before shouting.
“Alright, chill-“ Barry spoke.
Rafe started to shoot the gun. You moved his arm, almost shooting the tree, where Jj was hiding.
“Hey! Whoa! Hey, chill, bro, Rafe.” Barry said, also trying to stop the shots.
You grabbed onto his bicep, he stared into your eyes.
“Let’s bounce. Let’s bounce. Let’s go!” Barry said when the two of you stood there for a moment, you trying to calm him down.
You both walked towards the car, you taking one last glance towards the tree and the kids on it.
Jjs mouth was open as he stared at you leave. They stayed there until they heard the car.
“Is your sister a fucking kook?” John B said.
“I don’t know! She wasn’t before but- if she was, she would have ratted us out. She didn’t.”
“Is she with Rafe?” Sarah asked.
“I… I don’t know. She told me about a boyfriend once, but I never thought it would be…”
————
“Guys, don’t tie up. Stop it!” Jj spoke, walking down to the boat.
“We’re dipping.”
“Wait, why?”
“What? What are you talking about?” Kiara spoke, Pope pausing his movements.
John B helped Sarah down, and they heard more steps coming down. They looked to see you, walking down to the boat.
“Shit, let’s go. Like right now.” Jj ushered them in, looking at you.
You held your hands up in defense.
“Wait!” You told them, groaning when they didn’t listen and continued piling into the boat quickly.
You ran down now.
“Stay there.” Jj said, holding an arm out when you stood on the dock.
“Okay. Okay.” You mumbled, they all stared at you.
“Who did you come with?” John B asked you.
“I came alone.”
“How do we know you’re not lying.”
“I just wanted to apologize.”
“You’re fucking a kook, the king of them.” Jj spoke, his words laced with venom.
“I’m sorry-“
“What happened to pogues for life?” He spat.
“Jj, I don’t care about any of that bullshit anymore.”
He scoffed at your response, starting the engine.
You tried to shout over it multiple times but each time he just kept saying he couldn’t hear you.
“Jj, just fucking listen to me!” You shouted, tears cascading down your face now.
“Sorry, sis, I’ll talk later!” He shouted back, and driving off. You threw your arms up in defeat, sitting at the edge of the dock, watching them leave as you sobbed.
You had fucked up. You realized.
And who was the one to pick up the pieces?
Rafe slowly walked down to the dock, you didn’t notice him until he wrapped his arms around you, sitting down next to you.
“The fuck are you doing out here?” He mumbled quietly.
“Crying.” You said with a small laugh, sniffling and wiping away the tears, leaning your head onto his shoulder.
The boat was silent for a little, Jj staring out into the ocean, lost in thought as the others talked amongst themselves.

Photo of NGC 7000 / the North American nebula (southern part), the bright star on the top left corner is ξ Cygni. Might rework it later since this one still has a bit too much gradient/haze due to the full moon when I took the photos. In most cases, emission nebula are the result of gas clouds being ionised by the high energy UV radiation coming from very Hot (and often massive) stars/star cluster. In the case of NGC 7000 the star(s) responsible for most of the ionisation was an unknown for quite a long time, it is only in 2004 that the star responsible for the ionisation was located. This star (actually a binary system according to later publication) known as J205551.3+435225 is located behind the dark region of the nebula (bottom right corner of the photo) which explains why it was only recently identified.
(My best guess of the position of J205551.3+435225 in my picture according to what I can find in the original publication and in the SIMBAD database)
One last thing, that star was later nicknamed Bajamar Star, which comes from the original Spanish name for the Bahamas island.
#astrophotography#astronomy#space#night sky#photos taken from my backyard#nebula#NGC7000#North American nebula#J205551.3+435225#damn it naming conventions in science are definitely complicated#not that they are not importante#but like this one star has 10 different names depending on which catalogue you use

Free Guy- Walter Keys Mckey x fem reader blurb
Walter Keys Mckey x fem pregnant reader
ao3 link
mentions of pregnancy, nsfw themes/content ahead 18+ only.
Keys was the best husband and he was a gamer who created his own worlds with many games but his best game and most famous was known as Free Guy. In the game you could choose your own avatar and immerse yourself in the world. Keys was the dirty stripper cop in the game but in real life he was an average computer gamer geek but he was your geek. Free City was the world of Free Guy and blue shirt guy helped you and Keys to reveal your true feelings for one another.
Many games later and he was famous and rich but his proudest accomplishment was getting the girl at the end of the day- you. You were so enthralled by him and all of his gamer success but his personality you loved the most of all. You had many dates with Keys including gamer conventions, movie dates, dinner dates, vacations to Hawaii, the Bahamas, Jamaica, Fiji, New Zealand, and so many more places. When you were at a fair in New York he proposed at the top of the ferris wheel and of course you said yes.
The best part about being engaged was having the promise of forever with Keys. Soon you were married in Hawaii and had your honeymoon there as well flying in a helicopter to see the best view of the island. Now a married woman you and Keys decided to start a family together. You had so much love for him and after a year of trying you were pregnant.
Pregnant sex with Keys was nothing short of wonderful. He was attuned to your needs and wants. You didnt fuck each other but you made love and he let you be on top as he rubbed your belly. He loved to kiss your stomach and talk to the baby and to feel the baby kick. During bath time he would wash you with so much care and be behind you singing to the baby.
Keys did all of the chores and let you have bed rest. He would pamper you, massage you, and make you breakfast in bed. Keys even learned how to make your favorite desserts and bake for you. Every night with him was date night.
Eventually you got a cat a tabby and named her Precious. Soon after that you got a cute yorkshire terrier and named him Keys Jr. and both of your pets were adopted from an animal shelter. You would discuss with Keys what you wanted to one day name your future kids and came up with some great names. Keys and you agreed upon the name for a boy being Walt Jr. and for a girl Zelda after the game.
The days he would game on his computer you would join him and either just watch or be nearby doing one of your hobbies and spending time together. Sometimes you would play some music and game along with him or just playing your own game. He would love when you would just crawl into his lap and cock warm him and when you would stroke and suck his cock. What he loved most though was when you would ride him as he watched some game plays and game tutorials.
Sex with Keys was passionate and loving whether you were making love or having rough sex and dominating him. Sometimes he would dress up as his favorite game characters but would love when you dressed up as Princess Peach from Mario. When you introduced sex toys into the bedroom he loved to use some on you but also the couple toys which you could use together. Some days you would just stay in bed together giving each other countless orgasms and having your meals in bed together.
There was so much you did together and you loved every minute of it and he was your biggest supporter no matter what you were by each others sides. He loved to pat your baby bump and give you massages always so loving and tender with you. Pregnant sex was so good and he was perfect at making love to you. Keys was happy to meet your needs and he was such a pleaser.
You began to buy stuff for the baby and painted the baby room a pastel yellow. There was a wonderful baby shower and you had all of your friends there. The best part about being with Keys was his passion and personality not to mention his fierce protectiveness of you and the baby. What you thought was a baby was soon confirmed it was not one but two babies and you were overjoyed to know you were having twins with him.
Soon the babies arrived and he was there for you and with you every step of the way and in the hospital too. He was the most caring and genuine guy he was one a kind and no one else was like him. No other person had ever made you feel quite as special as he did and you were thankful for that fact. With Keys you felt like you could do anything and everything.
The babies were taken home and you were getting bed rest and soon the baby room was painted pink and blue to replace the yellow paint from before. The best part about being new parents was that you could have your own kids who could be model images of you and your husband. They were a handful and you were exhausted as new parents but the babies grandparents were happy to be taking care of them.
So many pictures were taken of the twins and you made a big scrapbook for them and for the family. All of your friends and family loved spending time with them and you would have family days and picnics in the park together once a month. The kids loved Keys Jr and Zelda and as they got older loved to play video games. Each day with the twins and your Keys were the best days and you cherished the love and family you had.

Thoughts While Watching Gilmore Girls, 3x10-The Winter Carnival Episode-Pt 2
Netflix will display a content warning of "language and sex" for every episode of Gilmore Girls when there is neither.
I mean this ever so gently. Please shut the hell up, Rory Gilmore and just let this guy kiss you for once in your pathetic life. He's not going to be in your life forever, you know. Then again, he is your future step cousin so he will be around forever, but eh, you know what I mean. All the more reason to learn now. You don’t want to be looking at your smoking hot super slutty cousin from across a desk 13 years from now and regret not doing him when you had the chance so instead all you can do is talk to him about how you can’t afford to buy underwear.
Anyways Just stop talking and give your cuz the ol tongue razzle dazzle.
This is hands down, the 2nd Best Looking Jess of the first 3 seasons. 1st place?
The gel-job + jean jacket + white tshirt + cigarette+ devil-may-care-attitude+ combo was absolutely impeccable. But Winter Carnival Episode Jess is serving up some fierce competition with the dark black coat and a sense of sexual urgency more commonly seen in an inmate who was just released from a short prison term.
Jess: Growing up means learning that the Winter Carnival is just another one of Taylor Doose's grifts to fund his next trip to The Bahamas. Now gimme some tongue, baby.
FOCUS!!!!!
That's my King of Nopes, Huhs, and Okuhs!
Me, talking outloud to the screen in a vague foriegn accent that sounds something like a cross between Gru and Borat: I swear to god if you do not shut up This girl would stop to talk about Lane and her Mom and Dean while they were having sex, I swear to god.
His best work!!! I'd ask Shane if that were true, but you know, stab stab, splash splash, honk honk.
Look how fricking cute they are and they were really dating too. Look how he puts her arm around her. It's so sweet. How could anyone ship her with Dean or Logan? Nonsense. Rubbish. (yes, I say that as someone who does not ship them past the point of their original relationship ending. Leave me alone).
Aruba, Bahamas, Key Largo, Montego...
Does "our own fun" involve playing hide and seek in Luke's closet? (Spoiler alert: He is going to try and pull off another game of Closet Checkers in this episode, but the Cockblocking Fates (Lorelai and some little bratnugget) are going to put a stop to it. Dang Rory. That's cold. Winter Carnival Grift That Happens Every Year In Perpituity Because The Cayman Islands Aren't Cheap So You Can Always Just Go Next Year The Fuck iS wrong With You > Our Own Fun with your new hot horny boyfriend? He even did the backpack-strap-grab. It worked on her. Ladies and gentleman, there has been a compromise. And not a Bargaining With Butthead fear-based compromise like we so often saw with Dean. Rory will go with Lane and she and Jess will "hook up afterwards". Mmmhm.
*rolls around on the floor* *stops drops and rolls*
Speaking of compromises. After Milo wanted AmyShermanPalladino to write Jess off by having him get struck by a bus, I suppose this was her compromise.

Honeymoon with your husband Levi Ackerman
(⚠️ NSFW WARNING ⚠️)
Summary: You and Levi just got married a few weeks ago, you're in your honeymoon with him, as things goes by, your conversations with him in your hotel room got heated up, led the both of you to a honeymoon filled with pleasure and ecstasy.
You and Levi are virgins, and took each other's V card (🤭)
//fluff-nsfw// Enjoy!
It's been 2 weeks since you and Levi has gotten married, your name being Mrs Ackerman was always such a bliss to hear, making such a lifelong decision to marry Levi was the best decision you've ever made in your whole life. You were a complete hopeless romantic who loves to read books, imagining when will be your turn to experience these love emotions. Then you finally have your own love story with him, Levi Ackerman.
His name alone was bringing love and bliss to your lips as you say his name. It rolls of your tongue perfectly, his name was lovely and sexy. He may be a man of few words but when he starts talking, you instantly melt into pure bliss, his chuckles, his smiles, his admiration when he's making tea for his tea shop, when you set eyes on him, you didn't know he had his eyes set on you too.
If you say "Levi you're such an amazing man" he would tell you, "(Y/n), you're the woman I've never expected to enter my life, in which I'm glad you did" . A man of few words? He often will tell you how much he's glad you stumbled upon his life one day, to his tea shop, his eyes would always looks for you when the bells in his shop dings, his cold stern expression always changes to a soft gaze when he sees you.
Now, you're married to the man, you're Mrs Ackerman officially, recorded in the government's documents and everything. You didn't have your first kiss yet, so did he, so the day you two got married was the day you both had your first kisses, and you're glad you waited.
Now, you're currently packing to go to your honeymoon in Hawaii, it has always been in your bucket list, and if not that, Bahamas was your second option, classic honeymoon location, but you love how romantic is feels to go there with your husband. Levi chuckles at all of your plans you've been meaning to do if you ever gotten married, which you are, to Levi Ackerman.
Everytime he listens to you he wouldn't help himself but to just kiss you sweetly on your cheeks and temple, those kisses was him telling you, "your smile and laugh is just beautiful love" . He is a man of few words, but through his actions, he says so much.
You both decided on Hawaii, since you always wanted to go there as a kid, someone you grew up in a 4 season country, you wanted to know how it feels staying in a tropical island for a week.
Once you finished packing, and your flight is tomorrow, you were too excited to sleep that it was alright with Levi, since he has insomnia, but would often shut his eyes from time to time as you would do the same, sooner or later letting sleep take over you both, as you sleep in each others arms and warmth.
Levi naturally woke up when he immediately saw daylight due to his insomnia, therefore he would often make breakfast and hot tea for you since you were still asleep, he knows your likes and dislikes, since you're in a good mood for your honeymoon, he made Japanese fluffy pancakes with crispy honey bacon with your favorite matcha tea. While he was cooking, a side smile creeped up in the corner of his lips as he heard your happy sleepy noises and footsteps down the stairs and to the kitchen, you saw him cooking the bacon in the way you like it, "crispy but not too crispy on the bacon love?" You excitedly but tiredly said, he hums with a smile on his face looking at you, jogging towards him hugging him from behind burring your face in between his shoulder blades as you wait for him to finish cooking.
As he finished he plated your breakfast and his on the table, pouring your matcha tea and later pouring himself black tea, "thank you for the food love!" You said fully awake taking a bite of the fluffy pancakes and bacon, moaning at how good it is, the fluffiness of the pancakes, the crispness of the bacon, later drinking your matcha tea a little, sighing as your heart is filled with joy and bliss.
"You're such a good cook my love"
"The pleasure is all mine cooking for you love"
Smiling widely even though your cheeks was flushing red, you didn't care and continued eating, glancing at the clock, you had an hour to get ready for your honeymoon trip.
You both freshened up, dressed comfy but presentable, grabbed your luggages and finally heading towards the airport in your car. The excitement in your veins for this trip has not left, finally stepping foot inside the airport after parking your car in the parking lot where people are going to take care of it while you're gone.
The tickets has been acquired.
Boarding passes has been acquired.
Got passed the checking lines.
And waiting for your airplane now.
Had to wait 10 minutes for the airplane to arrive, as the time was up you were immediately at the front of the line for the staff to stamp your ticket before boarding, holding and intertwining with Levi's hands and fingers through out this excitement, he would often chuckle and smile to himself seeing you, his eyes would always say, "glad I found the right one, and married her", a slight blush would show in his cheekbones.
Sitting and relaxing to your airplane sits, you're so glad your sits are together, took the both of you so long to book the tickets and reward was the both of you got the same row and sitting together.
"Hello ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking, we'll be landing to Hawaii in 5 minutes, thank you"
You turned to your husband to see he already knows what you were gonna say, you both would just chuckle it away as you waited for the 5 minutes to end, upon landing, you held tight on your husband's hand for the fear of the plane crushing would sometimes cross your mind when you go travelling, he rubs the palms of your hands with his thumbs and kissing the back of your hand whispering, "we're safe my love, we're safe, I'm here with you" his comforting words matching his deep soothing voice calmed your nerves but body still a little tense.
As the plane landed safely, you had a massive sigh of relief, leaning against Levi's shoulder, hugging his arm as he kisses the top of your head caressing your hair, he softly whispers, "you did a good job my love, proud of you" and kisses the top of your head one more time.
"Look at this room and view Levi! Ahh! So breathtakingly beautiful!"
"Yeah"
He was actually looking at you when he said that.
You wore your favorite sundress, it's white with dandelions and other flowers scattered around it, your back was exposed, it reaches down to your lower back, with subtly strings tied to ribbons on the back, and a V shaped front showing your cleavage a bit. As you glance and rest your elbows at the balcony of the hotel room, he couldn't help but make his eyes wander down to your cleavage, biting down on his bottom lips as he looks up, admiring your delicate smooth arms, your jawline, your lips, nose and eyes glistening with adoration at the beautiful beach of Hawaii.
//We haven't had sex since we got married... We're both virgins too...// he thought as he took a sip of his water walking back inside letting his wife admire the scenery a little more on her own, as he thinks a little bit to himself, how to address the fact, "I want to have sex with you" in a gentle way. It's true you and Levi are both virgins when you met, but honoured the idea of doing the sexual activities when you're married, so there's no regrets.
Now you're married to your husband, it would be such a lie if you didn't thought about doing it too with him, the fact the two of you had hard tensions on the night you two got married, but didn't know how to approach the situation, without being assertive or forceful. You both masturbated before, but doing sex and becoming one is something you never, never done before.
As the sun was slowly setting you finally went back inside and closed the glass doors and curtains, making the room a bit dim, turning on the lights as Levi laid down reading his book with his left arm underneath his head, wearing his light grey long sleeves and black trousers, basically in his pajamas.
He didn't look at you for he was well focused on his book, flipping the page, you admired your husband, he was so hot and attractive like that, his legs crossed over the other as he furrowed his eyebrows at what he was reading, hearing him clicked his tongue as if what he was reading is making him mad.
You softly bit down on your finger seeing how even more hot and attractive, your body was heating up, the excitement in between your legs was pulsing, dirty thoughts was later forming in your mind, even taking smutty chapters from books into your world of imagination. The fact you can do them to your husband made your sensitive area pulse yet again.
Suddenly remembered that the lingerie set and toy your college best friend Hange Zoe gave you excites you more. You were a hot mess when she gave it to you; you didn't look at her gift with Levi for it will be embarrassing, so you were hiding it deep into your closet of your house, the day you both wanted your honeymoon, you brought the box out and hid it in your separate luggage.
"Levi my love?"
"mhmm?"
He hummed as he sighs and took his bookmark and placed in inside the book to not loose the chapter, he sat up and looked you up and down, "have you.. ever" your face being extremely flushed as you rushed towards him in the bed making you both lay down, a soft grunt left Levi as he hugged you, hiding your face on his chest inhaling his vanilla spice perfume, feeling your sensitive area pulsing a little again, "something the matter love?" He softly says as you hugged him tighter as he caresses and plays with your hair with his fingers, "no problem but.. Levi love" you softly said muffled on his shirt, you sat up as he sat up with you, playing with your fingers as he waits for you to say something what's bothering you, "do you, want to have.. sex with me?" You quickly shut your eyes, lips pursed together waiting for his reply.
He chuckles.
You slowly opened your eyes, seeing he also had a slight blush on his face when you asked that, "my love, I've been thinking about that all day" he softly said before chuckling once more before scratching the back of his neck, "r-really?" You were taken aback as he nodded looking at you with half lidded eyes.
You gave him a small smile, pecking his lips as you got up and went to the closet of hotel room and grabbed the box Hange gifted you and went to the bathroom, Levi was confused for he didn't see what you got out of the closet, be sighs as he relaxes on his back against the headboard of the hotel bed.
You decided to wear the matching lingerie and hid the toy behind you. Before going out, you checked yourself in the bathroom mirror, the beautiful embroidered lingerie was a beautiful piece, you thought to yourself,
//Hange picked a good lingerie set//
With a blushing face as your eyes went down to your cleavage, it was so see through that your erect nipples were poking a little bit from the embroidered rose of the lingerie, eyes going down your sensitive area to see it was also see through.
Before going to Hawaii, you booked an appointment for lazer hair removal on your underarms and your vagina folds, so you'll be extra sensitive once Levi decides to touch it. The straps around your body was enticing to look at as well, secretly thanking Hange in your head with such a beautiful lingerie as her wedding gift to you.
The toy on the other hand, it was a weird looking one, not like the ones you've seen before in sex toy stores. This one was baby pink colored, with one end with a slightly curve while the other end with a U shape. You were toying with it a little but left it and decided to let the excitement of the unknown be revealed to you later on.
You twisted the doorknob open, walking out as the toy is hidden behind you again, you got one of the hotel's bathrobes, hiding your lingerie as you took the (Do Not Disturb) sign and place it on the front door of your hotel room, double locking it as well. You sigh as you walked towards the bed, to see Levi back in his book, but when he heard you, he peak his head out of the book, placing it down as he sat up, "are you going to take a shower love? Let's shower together" he softly says taking off your bathrobe, he paused in his tracks as he eyes you up and down of the beautiful embroidered lingerie you have on, his eyes slightly and slowly widen, his cheeks was so flustered as he can't stop staring at your cleavage and sensitive area, for the fabric of the lingerie was thin and see through, he noticed you didn't have pubic hair too.
"Who--who gifted you, this one sexy lingerie?" Blushing at his question, you responded, "Hange gifted this to me..." He scoffs and rubs his face with his hands looking at you again, you eyed down on his trousers, it was slowly showing. "You're getting hard love" you said mindlessly as he blushes before grabbing a pillow hiding it as he focused on you again.
"She gifted me this and.. this" you showed the baby pink toy, his blush was growing darker same as you seeing the weird looking toy, "that's a--" "a vibrator" you finished his sentence as he nodded, taking the toy from you as he examined it closely, when he discovered the button and the levels, you both jolted a little bit when you saw the U shape end was moving back and forth, you were confused, "what does, that do?" He asked as he was deep in thought, widening his eyes as he realized, deciding to surprise you for what it can do later on.
He turned it off and set it aside to the bedside table, he turns to you caressing your cheeks, his eyes was slowly being filled with lust and desire, for he can't no longer wait and finally kissed you fully and passionately, taking the slow baby steps for the new experience the both of you will have. The build up arousal in your pussy was getting wet, Levi made you lay down against the pillows as his lips never left yours, your arms wrapped around his shoulders and neck pulling him closer to you, he sighs as he continues his kisses down south of your body, he kissed your erect nipples later licking them before finally removing the lingerie bra, tossing it to the other side of the bed, he looks up at you for permission, you nodded as he licked, kissed and sucked on your sensitive erect nipples, moaning softly grabbing onto his ebony locks, tugging it lightly as he continues to stimulate them, feeling the wetness in your pussy growing, Levi pulls away from your boobs with a (pop) sound before giving your nipples a final flick of his tongue before he kisses down to your ribs and stomach, feather touching your sides and thighs, getting dangerously close to your pelvic area.
Levi pulled away as he grabbed the baby pink colored vibrator, turning it on level 2, "you'll feel pleasure with this my love" he breathlessly said as you nodded sighing, feeling the light vibrations going over your erect nipples, moaning out his name softly as he would lightly massage your boobs putting the vibrator on top of your nipples, biting your tongue and soon the inside of your cheeks as he trails it down, landing it on your clit, your body jolted, sat up a little from the new feeling, collapsing back down on the mattress as the pleasure level in your body is rising every minute.
Levi chuckles seeing your expressions of pleasure, he leans down and kisses you on the lips as he kept the vibrator on your clit for a while, he leveled it up to level 4, moaning out loud, eyes shut as the slight change of intensity of the vibrator, overwhelming your body in pleasure, you grabbed onto Levi's grey long sleeves shirt, facing him as he grunts softly seeing your body squirming and shaking a little, "f*ck you're gorgeous my love" he says almost moaning it out as he moves the toy up and own on your soaked pussy, your wetness getting to the toy.
Levi stopped the vibrator, earning a whine from the lack of it on your pussy as he grabbed the bathrobe, made you move to place it on the bed, "so that no sperm gets on the bed" he said breathlessly, flustered since you were soaking wet, it might fall onto the mattress. As he makes you lie down again, he accidentally turned the vibrator on the last level; level 6 placing it on your clit, you moaned loudly grabbing and hugging his arm as he was taken aback at the intensity, "my love! It's at the highest level!! F*ck~" you continued to hold onto his forearm as he turned it off, breathing heavily as you whimpered at the lost of contact, biting down on your lips, moaning as you felt his fingers rubbing your wet pussy.
"so wet" he simply said as he lifted his fingers and smelled your juices, you moaned at the sight of your husband licking and sucking his fingers clean, he later brings it down to your pussy again rubbing on it, stimulating your arousal, you moaned out his name as he kisses your neck, sucking on your sweet spot, your finger slightly tugging snd gliding the bedsheets, you toes doing the same as he thrusted in his middle finger, he whispered a curse in your neck as he felt so warm inside of you, you wrapped your arms around his neck as he slowly thrusts in and out of you, moaning into his ear as he did the same to you, feeling a knot forming, signaling you are close.
"My love I'm close!"
"Not yet love"
He said before pulling away, body jolted a little from the lost contact, you whimpered and whined, massaging your boobs and lightly pinched your nipples, keeping the pleasure in contact, he settled in between your legs, grabbing the baby pink vibrator again, switching the ends to the U shape one.
"I figured out what this end part does love"
"What does it.. do?" Out of breathe, heart speeding up as he turns it on, seeing it moving back and forth in a pace, he goes down to your pussy and putting it surrounding your clit, as it stimulates it, moving it back and forth, moaning softly and whimpering at the end as you felt instant pleasure rush through your veins, eyes rolling backwards, neck arched backwards as you relaxed on your bed, overwhelmed with the sensations.
It lightly vibrates as the U part of the end was moving back and forth at a steady pace, your clit was in between the U shape.
"Ohh f*ck Levi~"
"Feels good?"
"Ah! F*ck yes! ~"
Feeling it speeding up a little in both movements and vibrations, Levi then inserted his middle snd ring finger inside of you, thrusting to the same pace at the toy, the level of pleasure, bliss and ecstasy was overwhelming, body flinching and shaking that your climax was near.
"Let me climax love! Please please!"
"Go on, climax my love" he said moaning it out as he keeps his pace, the vibrator never leaving your sensitive clitoris, as you were so close to your climax, you finally finished with a shaky orgasm. Head softly slammed against the pillows, hands flew to tug on your husband's soft ebony hair as he moans softly, he pulled the vibrator away, as he licked your juices off of the toy setting it aside, you lazily watched him get a condom from his wallet.
"Just to be safe"
"Yeah.. we're, both not ready yet for, a family" you tiredly say as he bods, ripping the packet with his teeth and blew out towards the bedside table, he slips the condom on. You bit your bottom lip, //so f*cking hot// you thought as you flinched when you felt the tip of his shaft push inside of you slowly.
"I only masturbated"
"Me too love"
"I'll go gentle, but please, stop me when you don't feel pleasure"
"I will Levi"
You cupped his cheeks as he slowly puts his whole hard shaft in, wincing a little from your muscles getting stretched out a little by little //damn! He's huge!// you thought as you roughly sigh out, slamming your head against the pillow, gripping his forearms, "try to relax for me love, breathe in and out" Levi instructed you as he was sighing deeply, self controling himself to not move, for he doesn't want to hurt you or himself.
This is your first time having sex after all, being one.
Once he was fully inside of you; you were tensed, you tried to think at the bright side, which is //at least, I know that, Levi's so damn huge! Shocker it fitted in//. Your train of thoughts was interrupted when he accidentally moved in and out as he tried to fix his composure, you moaned in pain as your palm resting on Levi's chest, "sorry" he muttered as he leans down and gives you soft kisses to relax you.
After some seconds has past, the pain wasn't present and you started to get used to his width of his shaft, you stared up at him cupping his cheeks, giving him a slight nod, "you can move, Levi" you whispered, which turned into a soft moan of pleasure when he thrusted in and out of you, he did it for a couple of times, slowly pacing up to a steady speed.
The pleasure was overwhelming for the both of you, soft whines and whimpers was heard from your husband while you were a moaning mess, the bed rocking but not making a sound, Levi's hair getting messy as you continued to hold onto it caressing his undercut, sweat later building up as the heat of your bodies are rising, making the cold hotel room hot a little. The feeling of being one was pleasurable, and amazing, just blissful.
The pain was no longer present rather, pleasure is running through the veins of the both of you.
Levi had his left hand rest against the headboard while his other was lightly messaging your left boob and flicking your erect nipples, your mouth agape, eyes rolling back of your head, neck arched back against the pillow as he started speeding up.
His heavy breathing turned into moans and whimpers, holding onto your hips, gripping it hard to the point his knuckles was turning white, and you know you'll get his hand marks on there, "f*ck love~ You feel so damn good! ~" he moans out as he quickly sat up holding onto you tightly on the waist, moaning out loud at the top of your lungs when you felt him do even deeper when sitting up, he continues thrusting up and down as he used his hands to guide you to ride him a little, legs giving up, arms filled with pleasure that it lazily hung off Levi's shoulders, your boobs were at his face level and couldn't help but lick, suck, kiss and lightly bite on your nipples and boobs, creating hickeys of pink and purple.
"Yes yes yes Levi! ~"
"Are you close-- f*ck!"
"Levi, please! ~"
His thrusting became faster and faster, "oohh f*ck yeah! Yeah~ yes love yes!" He moans and whimpers as you held tight onto him, hugging him close, his face on the crook of your neck, later raising it to your ear as he breathes heavy and moans to them, "cum together love, cum, cum, cum, cum~ ooohhhh f*ck! Yes!" That did it for you, you moaned his name so loud that you two might get a report from the other guests of the hotel floor for being too nosey.
Hugging your husband tight in his arms as he cums into the condom inside of you, your juices dripping down on his protected shaft, breathing uneven, body both jolting and shaking from the new amazing blissful pleasure you two have witness.
The two of you collapsed to the bed, being in each other's arms as Levi gently and slowly pulls his shaft out, he sighs tiredly before tying the used condom, getting up and threw it to the bathroom trash bin.
He walks out to see you fast asleep, knocked out in bed.
Levi chuckled, walking towards you, kissed your forehead and temple whispering, "get some sleep my love" he later pulled away, got the warm water running on the sink, taking one of the medium sized towels and drenched it with the warm water, adding a little liquid body soap the hotel has in the shower, pumps a few to the water, making it fuzz up before dipping the towel on it again, squeezing the excess before coming out to see you were on your stomach arms resting on your head.
He softly smiles seeing you sleeping in peace, he got on top of you and started wiping your whole body with the soap snd warm water infused towel he has, once he finished your back side, he kisses your neck and cheek to gently flip you around, holding your arms and wipe it, later going to your neck, your chest, your stomach, in between your legs, including wiping and cleaning off the cum that was on your vagina lips.
He smiles in satisfaction, inhaling the floral scented liquid soap he used to clean and wipe you off. Levi got up and did the same to himself, as he thinks the two of you will just shower tomorrow before breakfast so that the both of you are fresh.
Levi got into his new pair of pajamas since the one he's wearing got sweaty and dirty, he recalled that you were the one only naked while he was clothed, "this won't be our last anyway, next time, I'll go naked with her" he softly mutters to himself before closing the hotel lights in the room, crawling to the bedsheets, hugging your waist delicately, you sigh as you turned around, intertwining your legs, head resting on the pillow and face being met with his fresh new clothes aroma, feeling you were still naked but you didn't care, snuggled into Levi's warm embrace, his clothes was soft and smells amazing.
Took Levi a few minutes to fall asleep, once he did, you did too. Falling asleep, ending the night feeling happy that the two of you finally had sex and knows the blissful feeling of being one with one another.
This certainly won't be the last, it was just the beginning...

Damon X reader pt. 1
Warnings: slight angst
Copyright: I do not own any TVD/TO/Legacies characters, nor any places in New Orleans or Mystic Falls that may be mentioned.
I woke up in rather warm arms and I was confused. What in the world? I rolled over- to the best of my ability- and saw Damon's angelic sleeping face on the other side. I relaxed immediately, smiling at the sight in front of me.
He was so handsome what with those baby blue eyes and black curls, and I wished he could be mine. But he was adamant that he was bad for me because he was a Vampire. I didn't care, I wished I could be a vampire and be with him forever.
It had taken forever to convince him into the bed. But he had finally given in and here he was. Of course, he wouldn't sleep with me, but he would cuddle and I was grateful for that.
"Take a picture, it lasts longer." Damon grumbled, apparently awake as I continued to gaze at him.
I tucked some of his curly hair behind his hair. "Hmm."
I kissed his forehead before rolling out of the bed on the opposite side. I glanced out the window, seeing the ocean waves. But there was also an island that seemed very close. "We're almost at the next stop. What is it again?"
"Bahamas. Didn't you read the map? You're the one who's competing after all." Damon grumbled, but with more teasing in his voice than before.
I giggled, "No. You know I was surprised with this trip. What time it is?"
"Time for you to get a watch." Damon grumbled, rolling over in the bedsheets, wrapping his arms around one of the pillows.
"Not the dad jokes Damon." I complained.
"Sorry Y/N." He muttered.
I went to the bathroom and then looked at the clock, "It's past lunchtime." I shouted so he could hear me.
I exited the bathroom and found he'd fallen back asleep. I smiled gently.
We lived in Mystic Falls which never seemed to be a boring place to live, what with the drama with Originals and Vampires and Werewolves and Heretics and Sirens and Witches and whatever else existed. And I was a measly human who had managed to survive it through it all.
This was partly a combination because Damon and Enzo protected me, and also because all of the Originals had taken a liking to me. Well, except Finn, but he didn't really count now.
With the combined protection, I got through everything unscathed. Of course, while everyone from Bonnie and Enzo to Alaric and Jo had found a romantic love, I was stuck without love.
Klaus had Caroline, Elijah had Hayley. Kol had Davina. Rebekah had Marcel, which meant Marcel had Rebekah. Stefan had Elena- not that I would've gone for Stefan anyways. I honestly couldn't stand him or Elena. Bonnie had Enzo. Alaric had Jo.
Which had left Damon who was adamantly against dating me. Wonderful. But that was because his eyes were on Elena.
I guess if I wanted to sink lower I could date Matt or Tyler, but I really didn't.
Of course, everyone liked to tell me that Damon did like me, he just didn't want to hurt me. Well, that was just bloody wonderful, but if he could actually act on it, it would be more than wonderful.
But anyways. . . about three weeks ago, I had received a letter in the mail that claimed I had won a spot on a game show that would take place on a yacht. I was allowed to bring one friend with me and we would have shared quarters.
I hadn't been sure who I was going to take. I had thought about bringing Vincent, my witch friend from New Orleans, but somehow, Damon had been corralled into it.
Not that I minded.
So now I was here. I'd spent a week and a half on the yacht, participating in different game shows and consistently winning, although the last game had been a near miss. I'd been on the bubble with a one question difference and it just so happened I knew the question and I got pushed into the winning.
The next contest would be when we docked- the losers were always dropped off at the port location to be sent home on an airplane- and this time around, we were going to know the category ahead of time. I was really excited because if I could study something- the enormous yacht had a library- then I would probably have a better chance at winning.
Meanwhile, I got dressed out of my pajamas and into a short sleeved T-shirt and a pair of frayed jean shorts. I pulled my hair up into a messy bun, not bothering doing anything more exotic with it. Then I applied light makeup and decided that it was time to wake Damon up.
I grabbed one of the blood bags from the mini fridge in the kitchen and then poured it into a glass that he usually used for drinking bourbon or whiskey.
I carried it back to the bedroom, waving it under Damon's nose, "Damon." He grunted, but didn't move.
"C'mon baby, time to wake up." I said in a sing-songy voice that was probably only appropriate to use on a little child. But he was certainly acting like it so it probably was rather appropriate.
He mumbled something incoherent, his hand pushing the glass of blood away.
I frowned and then said in a hard voice, "Damon Salvatore I will pour this glass of blood on your head if you do not get out of bed right now."
In a flash, the glass of blood was gone from my hand, Damon was gone from the bed, leaning against the wall, downing the glass. "Happy?"
"Very, let's go down for breakfast."
He scoffed, "Or, I can cook you pancakes here and we can stay in the room."
I sighed. I did love his pancakes and if we stayed in the room, I might get a chance to cuddle with him. Maybe even get him to kiss me.
"Well, alright. But do we even have maple syrup and whip cream?"
"If not, I'll compel the chef to give me some." Damon said, pouring himself a bourbon in the same glass the blood had originally been in.
"Are you sure you want to drink so early in the day?" I questioned.
"It's one o'clock, that's early?"
"I don't know, don't normal people start drinking around. . . after work hours? Six? Maybe five at the earliest?" I questioned. I personally didn't drink [or maybe you do], so I wasn't sure the normal hours.
"Only cool people drink at this time of the day Y/N." Damon smirked.
I swung my H/L hair over my shoulder. "Come on Slytherin, get to making the pancakes."
I had taken to calling him 'Slytherin' as it was his Hogwarts house. My nickname for him, per-se. He often called me '[Your Hogwarts house]'.
Damon cooked up the pancakes, putting [your favorite fruit] as the decorations for the eyes and mouth of the happy pancakes. I smirked as he added whip cream and maple syrup to the breakfast food.
"Thanks Damon." I said, picking up my fork and digging in.
"Well it's not often I flaunt my amazing cooking skills," Damon said cockily, digging into his own pancakes.
We mostly ate in silence. I was wondering about what the category would be for the next round, knowing I only had a few hours before the actual competition to research. I had heard rumors that the library was a whole floor of the ship so finding books might be nearly impossible.
"Don't sweat it." Damon said and I looked up to see he had been observing me. His black hair was in his lovely blue eyes. He was wearing a buttoned down gray shirt and black jeans. Much to my pet peeve, he had only socks on. I preferred either bare feet or shoes. "Honestly, you either know the answers, or you don't. It's not the end of the world if you lose the competition."
I smiled at him. I just wanted to impress him. It was stupid really, I was human. If I wasn't human, I wouldn't have to impress him. He didn't want me to be a vampire and he also didn't want to be with me if I was human.
Or maybe it was just that if I stayed human, he never had to be with me whereas if I became a vampire, he might never get rid of me.
The smile slipped off my face and I quickly turned back to my pancakes. Was that it? Was it really that bad to be in my presence?
I suddenly found my appetite diminished and I pushed the plate away gently, getting to my feet and padding away to the bathroom.
I needed a bath to calm my senses.
At that moment, the intercom went off with an annoying drilling noise like back in high school. "Attention competitors. The library is now open. The category is mystical creatures. You have four hours. Good luck!"
Well there went the calming bath.
"Well you'll have this in the bag Y/N." Damon said, another glass of bourbon in his hand. I decided not to say anything. If he wanted to drink it fine, it wasn't my place to tell him not to.
"Well, I guess I should go down to the library anyways." I said awkwardly. "I'll see you after the competition."
"Don't you want help studying?" Damon asked and I did hear the surprise in his voice that I planned on going alone.
"Only if you want, but if you'd rather stay here, I don't mind at all." I replied nonchalantly, opening the door to the hotel room. I let the door close behind me, but the click didn't happen.
Damon was now standing in front of me, a bit of a frown on his face. "Y/N? Did I say something at breakfast?"
No. It's what you're not saying.
"No, just nerves." I replied with a shrug. I set off down the hallway. "But if you're coming, you have to leave the bourbon in the room!"
Good, now I'd have time alone and away from him. He'd much rather stay in his room with his bourbon-
I shrieked as strong arms scooped me up and I felt a familiar rush of vampire speed as everything rushed past me in a blur.
We stopped in front of large doors and Damon said, "The library." He put me down on his feet.
I hit his arm, "Dumbass! What if someone saw you?"
"Then I'd compel them to forget." Damon said his mouth lifting into that familiar, sexy smirk, opening the door. "After you."

Theory for what happened between the conclusion of Black Sails and the beginning of Treasure Island: part 1
I don't have it in me to write an actual fic bc I'm already stretched thin as it is with my Master's dissertation + paleoart project, my part-time restaurant job AND writing a self-indulgent fic that I may or may not post, but! I have Ideas and I need to share them.
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
OKAY, SO! 🙏
After the end of Black Sails, Flint is alive and he's in the plantation with Thomas, where he spends the rest of his days. Far into the future Thomas passes away from natural causes, and Flint, in his grief over losing him a second time, and with no cause fueled by Vengeance to keep him going, starts to wither away himself. Whether his health failing due to alcoholism is... Subjective.
What is for certain however, is that without Thomas, Flint suddenly spends A LOT of time alone with his thoughts. And boy, do his thoughts start spinning and unraveling.
He recalls the past: Nassau, his adventures, his misadventures, the bold impossible plans for a revolution that was supposed to make an empire shake and crumble into dust, the friendships, the alliances, but also the betrayals. Oh, the betrayals... They eat away at him until he's consumed with dark thoughts of a rage that lied dormant for twenty or thirty years, but in the wake of Thomas' death comes back in full force like a tsunami. Impossible to ignore, destroying everything in its path. And the one betrayal at the forefront of the line, is Long John Silver.
Unfortunately, with the way his body is starting to give out after decades at sea, from battle to battle in countless blood shedding, and then years of labor in the fields, he knows he doesn't stand a chance to do anything grand and explosive about it.
So, Flint does what Flint is best at: he concocts a plot. His ultimate plot. He writes letters and sends them out through half the globe, from the Bahamas to England, summoning all acquaintances who are still alive to come see him before his final hour. There aren't many of them left, granted, which might be fortunate because with each passing day, Flint grows weaker and weaker. He can see Thomas waiting from across the river of the dead. Miranda, too. They're waiting for him. It won't be too long now.
Now, to answer the question: what happened to Billy Bones after he was stranded on Skeleton Island? The simple answer is, Ben Gunn.
Ben found himself a new crew as soon as possible and, after months (he doesn't have the gift of manipulation like Flint or Silver do, it takes him some convincing), he manages to entice them into looking for Flint's treasure, but in reality, he's there to rescue Billy.
Oh, this new crew still searches part of the island for the treasure, but after a few days, a lot of them are dead of pestilence from the swamps or really rotten luck. They decide it's not worth it and gtfo there, with an embittered, extremely pissed Billy in tow who wastes no time taking over the ship by force.
Literally by force, he beat up everyone who stood a chance to take him on and, despite the months going hungry and struggling to survive, he is an unstoppable bulldozer. Ben Gunn can no longer recognize the man he had once admired so. He has turned cruel and uncaring, especially after the first three tankards of rum. Understandably, Ben Gunn is a Little Bit Afraid of Billy Bones now.
Meanwhile, Silver and Madi found some reconciliation. They are in love, they are safe, they get married, adopt a parrot, and, for the most part, they're happy.
But it's a fragile happiness. Always, there's the reminder of everything Silver did, from quashing the war to removing Flint permanently. All Madi has to do is look at her lover and it all comes back. Every time she does, she has to make a conscious effort to bury it in her soul. But it's there all the same. The resentment. The disappointment. The hurt. Slowly corroding their bond. And Silver sees it. Flint's last words to him gnaw at him. She will no longer be enough. The comfort will grow stale. He's to smart not to know this, indeed. And yet, there's nothing he can do to remedy it.
Until he receives the letter. Flint is dying. Thomas is gone and soon he will follow. This is his last chance for reconciliation and to offer a little forgiveness. Maybe receive some in return, as well. Together, Silver and Madi travel to Savannah, Georgia.
Billy has also received Flint's letter, and at first he doesn't want to go. Let Flint rot, and may his soul burn in Hell where it belongs (where he belongs, as well). Why should he give a damn about the man who ruined his life?
But another part of him wants to go. He wants to see Flint dying with his own two eyes, just to make sure he's actually gone. It won't be the same as getting his own hands wrapped around his throat and squeezing until that glint in his eye finally snuffs out, but it's the next best thing. And who knows? Maybe God will be merciful and offer him the chance to do it, anyway. Billy also travels to Savannah, with a growing reluctant Ben Gunn at his side.
