The Owl House is honestly so based for setting Belos up throughout season 1 and 2 and making people speculate his motive like “oh he’s got a tragic backstory? He lost his brother in an accident? Someone cursed him? He wants to go home? He wants to revive the titan and unite the two realms together?”

Then the show goes no, the guy is a colonizer and just wants to kill everyone cause he’s uber religious and prejudiced. Murdered his brother in cold blood. He lies with every breath. No redeemable qualities. And no one cursed him, he cursed himself by using glyphs on himself and eating palismen like an idiot

Just wanted to say, thanks for posting that last poll tournament! Hanamusa was basically my gateway back into the wider Pokémon fandom (I’ve still played most of the core games bar Sword/Shield, but I dropped off the anime around the middle of X/Y), so I’ve got a lot of attachment there, but I learned a lot from seeing all the different pairings and it was really fun seeing people championing them (and I’ll always be an Appealshipping cheerleader!).

I know setting up these polls is what you set up this account for, but I also know it takes a lot of work and setup, so thanks!

you cannot fight against Animal Rights Activist bullshit for only certain circumstances and spew ARA rhetoric when a situation pulls at your heartstrings.

Agricultural animals can be kept and produce eggs, dairy, fiber, etc. ethically given they are provided proper housing, water, food, vet care and enrichment.

Given proper housing, water, food, vet care, and enrichment dogs can live fulfilling lives outside of the interior of the home. Extreme weather is NOT dangerous for specific breeds of dogs (this goes both ways for hot and cold temperatures).

Given proper housing, water, food, vet care, and enrichment wild animals can live full lives out of the wild and in the care of conservation focused zoos.
