Le Bernina Express localisation 📍Suisse🇨🇭

Le Bernina Express commence avec la construction du chemin de fer Albula et du chemin de fer Bernina à la fin du XIXe siècle et au début du XXe siècle. C'est un itinéraire de train panoramique qui parcourt les paysages spectaculaires des Alpes suisses, reliant la ville suisse de Chur à la ville italienne de Tirano

I once traveled from Milan to Tirano, then from Tirano to St. Moritz, then from St. Moritz to Chur. Tirano to Chur was in panoramic Bernina Express. The trip started in Milan at 8.30 and ended in Chur by 3 pm. This is an outstanding train journey. Anyone visiting Switzerland should not miss this

Bernina has a free pattern called "Betty", a nice blouse with an interesting neckline, online - well, i like it. To download it, you can register for the newsletter, but don´t need to (the first button is for the newsletter - the text underneath is for the direct download.)

Available in sizes 36-48 (in the instruction it says 36-48 and on the pattern itself it says 34-48 but size 34 is not available in the pattern, so the instruction is correct.) The instruction is german, but i plan to sew one for me and write a blog post for it. The pattern is available in A4-Format and US-Letter format. The measurments are given in cm and inches. Size 36= BU: 84/TU:67/HU:93(cm) Bust:33/Waist:26,4/Hip:36,6(inches) Size 48= BU:110/TU:93/HU:114(cm) Bust:43,3/Waist:37/Hip:44,9(inches)

View from Alp Grüm, Switzerland, a village of four houses of which one is the station, towards the Palü Glacier, the white thing at the top end of the valley. It feeds into Lake Palü below, visible through the trees. It used to be way bigger, on drawings from the 19th century it reached almost to the lake, and even photographs from 2003 still show noticeably more ice here. Global warming keeps messing things up.

Alp Grüm also gives you a great view into the Poschiavo valley down below. The railway line is at the start of its descent into that valley, where trains will keep going back and forth through small tunnels, daring bridges and tight curves, losing (or gaining) altitude while not moving very much forward for a long time. At the end you can see the waters of Lake Poschiavo, which the train will reach from here after about 45 minutes at Le Prese.
