the horo-horo fruit making people depressed doesn’t make sense to me when combined with vegapunk’s theory about humanity’s desires being responsible for devil fruits.

……that being said, the universal need to see deceased loved ones again would probably be enough to will a devil fruit into existence, right?

Basically my argument as to how the Horo-Horo fruit could be another misnomer situation (a la “the Model: Nika fruit was intentionally mislabeled”)but the Awakened form hasn’t been accessed in so long that it’s left out of most guidebooks because nobody remembers if it existed in the first place. (Related to my au inspired by @andaniellight )

Hi hello i just noticed i never saw a drawing of Nami with her hair like Bellmere's and I'm trying to be so Normal thinking about what she'd look like with that haircut. I like to think that one day she's just looking for a new haircut, because sure, she said something two years ago about letting it grow out, but she's tired of only cutting the ends. So she's only testing the waters, cutting some hair here and there, and looking in the mirror the whole time, but she doesn't know why it took her so long to realize it's the same haircut of her mom. She hates how Bellmere's face is getting blurry on her memories, but at this moment, looking at her own reflection on the mirror, she can see a bit of her mom's face looking back at her
