Wait. Saw someone in the tags of that Jacob Anderson as Inston Vee Vinder gifset say that they thought Vinder was the Doctor's father (and therefore Bel who is pregnant during Flux their mother). Wait. It kinda could make sense? We don't know much about the civilisation Vinder and Bel come from except that it's an old, bureaucratic and unstable one that got decimated by the Flux + Vinder appears through a wormhole in the Power of the Doctor episode (when Thirteenth regenerates). And the Timeless Child is found under a wormhole. Imagine the little family of Vinder, Bel, their child going to explore wormholes, getting lost through time (the association wormhole/time travel is an old one) and Vinder and Bel getting lost/dead/etc trying to find their way back and only their child survives. And because the child was exposed to wormholes since their birth or maybe the people Vinder and Bel come from have some particularities but that's why the timeless child has regenerative powers. And maybe that's why Thirteenth comes across both of them during the Flux despite all probabilities, because they're her parents in the future that is her past and the fabric of space-time continuum knows they have to survive and the best odds of survival are with the Doctor. And maybe that's why Vinder comes across the Doctor once again when he's starting to explore wormhole technology, because the universe knew he needed the Doctor's saving and expertise to lead him to continue his exploration and along the line to the timeless child.
I'm way too tired to make it more logical but there's something to explore here. And in any way, I would very much love to see more of Vinder and Bel in future episodes.

Since we are going for REPETITION of themes here, aka "what makes someone powerful is how you remember them",
is RTD saying that all the Doctor has to do is remember his REAL parents to find out Who he really is????
In the finale, Fifteen mentioned that the only reason Sutekh was defeated is because Ruby's memory of her real mom is so powerful that even the God of Death was defeated by Ruby's ~adamance~ to LOOK FOR HER MOM THROUGH TIME AND SPACE.
The entire premise of this season is the parallel between Ruby and Doctor's ADOPTION, post-Timeless Child arc.
RUSSELL T. DAVIS, YOU ASSHOLE,
Are we ever going to see the Pre-Hartnell "fob watch/memory storage" that Thirteen stored in the console/center of the TARDIS after the events of The Flux? Can we please make Bel and Vinder the Doctor's parents? GOD, that would make me so happy.
I want Bel and Vinder back.

'Writer Russell T Davies has shared his theory on why Andrew Scott was shunned for awards for his role as Adam in devastating queer romance film All of Us Strangers.
In All of Us Strangers, Andrew Scott, 47, plays a depressed gay writer who heads back to his childhood home, only to discover that his parents – who died thirty years earlier – are still living there.
He spends several weeks journeying back home to meet their apparitions, even coming out to them as gay. Meanwhile, he sparks up an intense relationship with lonely neighbour Harry (Aftersun star Paul Mescal).
The tear-jerking film was critically acclaimed by fans and critics alike, and ahead of award season beginning in January, was seen as a shoo-in for nominations – particularly for leading man Andrew Scott.
However, All of Us Strangers was shockingly snubbed entirely by the Oscars. While it was nominated for six BAFTA awards, including Best Director for Andrew Haigh and Outstanding British Film, it took zero awards home.
Supporting actors Paul Mescal and Claire Foy, who played Adam’s mother, were both nominated, but Andrew Scott was not, much to the fury of the film’s fans.
Scott was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance, but lost out to Oppenheimer’s Cillian Murphy.
Now, Russell T Davies – the man behind some of the UK’s queerest TV shows, including It’s A Sin, Queer As Folk, and the new, super gay Doctor Who season – has explained why he thinks Scott was snubbed.
“What I think happened there was, when a gay man plays a gay man, he’s not considered to be acting,” Davies said at a panel with Attitude Magazine during National Student Pride on Saturday (24 February).
“I genuinely think that happened there, that people thought, ‘Oh, he’s very good, but he’s not acting there. He’s not reaching; he was just being himself.”
Davies, who has spoken passionately about queer roles being given to queer actors, also said that Scott’s was a “world-class performance” but was “massively underrated because he’s gay and very publicly and visibly gay”.
During the panel, which Davies spoke on alongside Heartstopper’s Bel Priestly, Everything Now actor Noah Thomas, It’s A Sin’s Nathaniel Curtis and Shadow and Bone actor Jack Wolfe, the Cucumber writer reaffirmed his belief that gay actors deserve to star in gay roles.
“I very publicly and loudly proclaim that gay actors should play gay roles knowing full well that I’m not in charge of the entire industry,” he explained.
“All I’m trying to do is shift [the industry] slightly so that more queer people are seen for queer roles, so that the door is more open.”
Curtis agreed, adding: “If a queer person plays a queer role, people are like, ‘Oh yeah, very well done, lovely.’ But if a straight actor plays a queer role, a lot of the time, they’re like, ‘Give them an Oscar.’”
Following his BAFTA snub, Scott has also been in the spotlight this week after an awkward interview with the BBC which was dubbed by many as “homophobic”.
During the conversation, Scott was asked “how well” he knew Saltburn star Barry Keoghan, in the context of whether Keoghan used a prosthetic penis in the film’s final scene. In response, Scott walked away from the reporter.
Over the weekend, the BBC released a statement about the interview, saying that it was “misjudged” but not intentionally offensive.
“Our question to Andrew Scott was meant to be a light-hearted reflection of the discussion around the scene and was not intended to cause offence,” the statement read.'

My Hot-Take/Controversial Ranking of Doctor Who Seasons (excluding specials bc my special order is really unhinged)
3 > 1 > 10 > 4 > 5 > 8 > 11 > 12 > 9 > 7b > 2 > 6 > 13 = 7a
Disclaimer: I have favorite episodes that come from every single season on this list, including 7a. For example, even though Season 6 is low on the list, the God Complex, Almost People/Rebel Flesh, and Impossible Astronaut are some of my favorite of the show. I do really love the Power of Three. These are based on season arc/average feeling per episode/rewatchability on a subjective level.
#doctor who#listen seasons 1 and three are basically perfect television for me#season 10 is one of the most fun of the show and bill is my second favorite companion and I love the twelve/missy arc#season 4 is full of banger after banger and journey's end slaps it just doesn't quite hit for me personally like seasons 1 3 and 10 do#season 5 has some episodes i don't like (victory of the daleks for example) but the fairytale vibes/beast below/amy's choice/big bang SLAP#Season 8 has some great episodes/good arc but i just really don't vibe with how cruel the Doctor is sometimes/Danny deserved better#Season 11 (other than fucking kerblam) i really enjoy! it has some weak writing in places but i love graham&ryan's arc & the smaller vibes#Season 12 is objectively better than season 11 but has weaker character arcs and some weaker episodes so eh#season 9 has one of the best finales in the show/some fun two-parters (i adore under the lake/before the flood) but the arcs feel off#7b is...fun & i like a lot of the episodes but i don't like the name/day/time of the doctor & it drags it down + clara's not fleshed out#season 2 is so good in places (cybermen 2-parter/school reunion/new earth) but has so many weak episodes & not as much character developmen#season 6...I love some episodes but I DESPISE the pregnancy arc/let's kill hitler/wedding of river song & how little agency Amy & river hav#season 13 is just...FINE. I enjoy some of the side characters (vinder bel karvanista) but the flux itself felt weirdly...boring? no emotion#(Jodie was SO GOOD in this season though btw)#and season 7a...asylum of the daleks dinosaurs on a spaceship & angels take manhattan are on my least favorite episodes list. like bottom 1#and I'm sorry but a town called mercy and power of three can't save that#amy and rory should have left with the god complex/christmas special and popped back like martha did in season 4#i said what i said#wow i really went off in the tags on this one#meta#rankings

Okay series 13/the Flux was pretty good lots of fun side characters and moving parts that all felt used and important! I enjoyed it quiet a lot, easily my favourite Jodie season.
However I hate the "morality was always your biggest flaw" line with a passion.
