What if I made a Malevolent ‘OC’ that’s just a shameless (ok maybe a little shame) self insert and redraw of me doing The Sillies with the Malev characters. Too late I’ve already got a full story for him I’ve just gotta draw him

GOOD NEWS: MOM SHOULD BE GETTING OUT OF THE HOSPITAL TOMORROW!!!
They basically took her off allllll meds and it helped her kidney get back on track tremendously!
I just had to hunt around facebook market and craigs list for a plus size wheel chair that would be affordable.
LUCKY DUCK...I found one for $85, gently used, and bonus the lady I talked to can have her wife met me closer, because she works this way, (instead of the 1 hour drive it would have beento go to their house) to get the chair from her tomorrow morning. Will be like a 15 minute drive from home now.
Good things, good things!
Fingers crossed this week just keeps going up from here!

The Monday Interview: Mark Gatiss - Top of the League
The Monday Interview: Mark Gatiss - Top of the League
Published: 19:14 Updated: 19:27 Sunday 16 November 2008
ALTHOUGH it's bad form to ogle someone else's husband, I can't help admiring Mark Gatiss's rather sexy legs. They seem to stretch to his neck, meeting a scruffy beard that adds a raffish edge to his air of sexual devilry.
This tastiness is a far cry from the grotesques he's so often portrayed, from his days as a member of The League of Gentlemen, to frizzy-haired, gap-toothed Glen Bulb of Nighty Night, and Doctor Who's maniacal Dr Lazarus.
This dishiness is very on-message, since we're here talking about his third mainstream novel, Black Butterfly, starring charismatic spy extraordinaire Lucifer Box, whose adventures in bisexuality are every bit as breathtaking as his undercover work for monarch and country. Each Box novel visits a different era, allowing Gatiss to pay homage to some of his favourite authors. The Vesuvius Club, set in the early 1900s, evoked Conan Doyle. The Devil in Amber found Box battling Nazis and Stalinists, and was Gatiss's homage to Dennis Wheatley and John Buchan. Preparing for Black Butterfly, set in 1953, heimmersedhimself in Ian Fleming and contemplated the machinations of John le Carr's spies. But for all these acknowledged influences, Lucifer Box is a spy like no other. Gatiss explains: "I am a gay man who loves James Bond films and snooker – all kinds of working-class pursuits. I didn't set out to deliberately respond to themasculinity. I'mfascinatedthat somanyspieswere or are gay,but I also like the idea, which le Carr showed, that the real job is much more prosaic." Surely a great spy would be ruthless enough to shag anything? "Yes, and also back in the day, the natural people to approach were people who were already lying about themselves. When homosexuality was illegal these people already had a different identity. What's interesting is that simultaneously to recruiting known homosexuals, they were also perceived as a security risk, precisely because of the blackmail thing. The recruiters must have known and actually relied on it, but it was always a worry." "Black Butterfly" is the French nickname for depression, but here it's also the name of a nefarious drug that imbues people with a euphoric sense of infallibility – before propelling them to grisly ends. When Box is poisoned he believes that he's young again – and behaves accordingly – until the antidote is administered by the object of his affections, a dishy CIA operative called Kingdom Kum. With a respectful nod to JaneMarple, I suggest there must be special challenges in writing about a geriatric spy. "I've never been specific, but he's obviously in his late seventies. I thought the thing to do was mention every now and then how much it hurts (to leap about], but if you keep going on about it then readers stop wanting to go on the journey. You have to believe he's still in good shape even though he's very old. "I was thinking about whether therewouldbeany sex scenes and how to handle it; itmademethink that maybe I couldgetawaywith this idea of thedrugmaking him young again. "The bit when he's on the drug was my favourite part to write. I carried a notebook around and wrote in a stream of consciousness way. I found it really liberating. I'd open my eyes on a beach – what did I see? What colour are my eyelids when closed with the sun on them? I was filming in Morocco and noticed a beetle that was like a sculpture rolling down the dunes. I was trying to create very vivid snapshots." Proving that the lines between life and art blur, whilewritingBlack Butterflyhewas sent theDoctorWhoscriptthat foundhimplaying a man in search of eternal youth. "I thought, 'Oh, there's a message here,'" he jokes. At 42, he must be increasingly aware of his ownageing? "I'vebeenhavingthose thoughts since Iwas 20! Evenwhen Iwas a childI always wanted to be older. I realised just in time that it's a mistake and to enjoy my youth while I hadit. If Imeetsomeonearound20,who's a bit like I was, I want to say, 'Get out! Have fun.' Becauseyourknees start togo, myeyes aregoing. Ithappens overnight. In the car, trying to read the A-Z, I'msuddenly like my dad!" He also says he had a youthful morbid streak: "Mymumused to say I had an old soul. As long as I can remember Iwas looking backwards. I remember my mumorganised a singalong for pensioners in about 1970, and I used to love singing the old Blitz songs." He smiles. "They are called Emos now, and before that they were Goths. They didn't have a name for it when I was one, but I was that black-wearing teenager and yes, I wore a little eyeliner. I was really into horror. On the less negative side, I was fascinated by the idea that peoplehadbeenhere beforeme. Ihave a print Julia Davis (the writer and star of Nighty Night] gave me of (my neighbourhood] around the time my house was built, in the 1760s, and it has cows on it, yet it's recognisably the same street. I love that idea of the changes." This historical bent dovetails nicely with his delight in wordplay. The Box novels are peppered with silly names, which often occur to him in the bath, a site he finds conducive to deep thinking. Thus Lucifer's sister is Pandora Box, and his Black Butterfly nemesis, Melissa ffawthawte, is affiliated with nefarious baddies A.C.R.O.N.I.M. My own favourite is the "cadre of psychoanalysts-cum-mercenaries known as the Jung Turks".
Both times we've met, Gatiss has patiently explainedthat itonly looks as thoughheworks night and day, but I'msure you'll agree his output is impressive. In addition to the novel, he recentlywrote (andappearedin) an episode of Poirot, filmed the upcoming TV programme Purves & Pekkala, written and directed by Annie Griffinandfilmedhere in Scotland, and the sitcom Clone, which stars Jonathan Pryce. He's busy writing episodes of the next full season of Doctor Who, for an as yet un-cast (or so he says) Doctor.Knowinghowmuch he coveted the role, andthat he's close friendswith all involved, I try teasing an indiscretion out of him, but Gatiss remains frustratingly closedmouthed. "I haven't a clue. I found David's announcement incredibly moving. I knew he was going, but I love the fact he did it in the interval, dressed as Hamlet, and he was accepting the award, but he had to find the moment to tell everyone. He's going at the top of his game which is always the best and themost difficult thing to do, because I know he loves it." Is there a Hamlet, a Lear, or another classic role he longs to play? Without hesitation, he says, "Oh yes, Richard II. It's a very underrated play, a fabulous part – beautiful. He was a very weak king but there's this fantastic poetry about his desire to stay on the throne despite being incredibly compromised. It has that wonderful line, 'I have wasted time and now doth time waste me.' I'd like to do that." Amidall this activity, Gatiss foundtime, last spring, to get married. He and Ian have been together for nearly a decade, so I wonder if marriage changed their relationship at all. "I feel subtly different," he says. "I don't know what it is, but it's nicer. It was a lovely, very moving day. I was most moved by the notion of our families coming together. My brother said it's the best wedding he's ever beento. Itwasamazing to think that our families were so completely at ease with the whole idea of a gay wedding. And then there was the incredible irony that it took place in Middle Temple underneath a portrait of Sir Edward Carson, the man who prosecuted Oscar Wilde. So when I did my little speech the first thing I did was flick him two fingers. 'This one's for Oscar.'"
Black Butterfly is out now from Simon &Schuster (15).Mark willbein conversation about his work on 18 November at 6:30pm at Waterstone's (Sauchiehall Street) in Glasgow, 0141 332 9105; 19 November at 7pm at Waterstone's (Union Bridge) in Aberdeen, 01224592440; 20 November at 6pm at Waterstone's (West End) in Edinburgh, 0131 226 2666. BACKGROUND A FEW things that might surprise you about Mark Gatiss: • The League of Gentlemen won the 1997 Perrier Award for comedy, the first sketch group to win since the awards were inaugurated in 1981. • A massive fan of the show, Gatiss started writing Doctor Who novels (four to date) when he was a penniless actor. • Growing up in County Durham, he lived opposite a psychiatric hospital, where both his parents worked and where he toiled as a gardener during his first year at college. He and Ian are the devoted 'parents' of Bunsen, a Labrador retriever. • He's starred opposite Julia Davis twice –as Glen Bulb in Nighty Night, and again as Johnnie Cradock in Fear of Fanny. • In 2003 he was the script editor for eight episodes of Little Britain. • As French poet Louis Aragon, he played opposite Ewan Bremner's Salvador Dali in Surrealissimo: The Trial of Salvador Dali. The cast list included Stephen Fry (Andre Breton), Vic Reeves (Paul Eluard) and both members of The Mighty Boosh! Those hc's for several characters realizing their crush on their best friend we're super cute! Could I also get those for the rest of Bruno's gang? Thank you!
This took longer than it should have and for that I apologize.
Bruno Buccellati
- You’re someone Bruno looks to a lot for help and advice. Someone who knew Passione well and with so much going on at once, it made sense The Don would want as many hands as possible in some of the rougher areas. At least, that’s what you were told when you were reassigned to work at Bruno's side, but not long after meeting Bruno, did you realize that you were more or less there to keep Bruno from over-working himself. Many of the other members of his original group were scattered around Italy during the reform and Bruno needed reminders to take a break every once in a while and let you take over.
- He’s grateful to have had the backup and made sure you knew how things were to be run, so you could help your own team and others understand the new Passione before you parted. You weren’t too far away and he promised he’d always be open if you needed his assistance and insured he’d check up on you to track your progress. It became the norm for you both after a while; lunch and coffee while discussing Passione’s affairs, the state of your teams and Italy as a whole, then more personal matters or just whatever day to day nonsense you could come up with; first weekly, then almost everyother day.
- It was easy to notice how relaxed the capo was after these little dates of his. He’s insistent they were purely professional, but it was Abbacchio of all people to call him out. He goes every day a little before noon without missing a beat, he comes back hours later, practically skipping, smiling like there are no issues in the world; it’s not ‘just business’ and he knows it.
- So, maybe he’s taking a little pleasure in speaking with you. Just a bit. It’s not a crime. You’re easy to talk to and relax around and he likes having a bit of time to himself to just enjoy his day with someone he likes. Abbacchio just rolls his eyes at his Capo’s denial of even the slightest crush, even as his face tints red as he tries to defend himself. Abba smirks about it the rest ofthe day and brings it up when he feels like teasing.
- Bruno remains in denial for a while. After mulling it over, it becomes less of a question of would he want to,and more of if he should try. You’re both busy people with demanding jobs – he worries a little how well you could make it work… if you decided you wanted to be together, that is. You could certainly try if you wanted. It’s not impossible and certainly not something he’d be opposed to in any way…
His thoughts are broken by your voice and he looks up from the now lukewarm coffee he’d been staring into for the last several minutes.
- "So-so sorry I’m late, Bruno. You won’t believe the day I’ve had."
“I don’t mind. Tell me all about it.”
Leone Abbacchio
- He’s a lot friendlier than he likes to let on, its getting past those first couple layers that the tricky part. He can’t help but be standoffish and crude, especially to newcomers. He’s still barely over Giorno, but he gets over himself once he’s accustomed you being around. You can tell when you get past two or three words and a grunt from him [unless they’re insults, but they probably won’t be. Depends on his mood].
- Thanks to you, Bruno and the others keeping him grounded, he’s managed to work past a lot of his issues [regarding relationships especially], but he still has his hangups and bad days. He appreciates that you can almost always tell when these are about to hit, when he needs some reassurance and when he needs to just be left alone. You usher the others out when they start their bickering and take the bottles from him when he starts to over indulge.
- He’s not sure what it is that allows him to feel comfortable venting to you and relaxing, but there’s a part of him that doesn’t like it. It’s disconcerting that he can just let himself talk you for hours and that he liked making you laugh with his crude sense of humor. He felt at ease in an unfamiliar way and fought with himself whether it was a good or bad thing. He tries to ignore it for the most part, hoping it’ll pass, but he keeps feeling… odd. He’s suspicious of his own feelings and whatever it is you’re doing that’s throwing himoff.
- He’s distant for a while, trying to work things out in his own head. He does get an idea for what’s happening and curses himself for it. He’s come along way from the time after the incident with his partner – he doesn’t hate himself as much, for sure – but he’s not sure if he’s really ready for romance let alone how you would feel. Was there even a point in trying to admit it? He liked being around you and knew he wouldn’t be able to take being rejected no matter how gently you put it.
- He spends the rest of his time in denial. He’s not admitting anything unless someone makes him. And by someone, I mean either Bruno or the unsettlingly large bottle of wine hidden at the back of his cabinet, where you and Bruno can’t find it. He hopes for his sake it’s the former if you don’t make the first move. He’s content for now to just wallow in the denial of his own emotions, hardly even trying to scout your feelings. He’ll just enjoy being with you however your relationship stands. He’ll give himself that, at least. He’s learning.
Giorno Giovanna
- There’s a lot of work that comes with being a new Don. Passione covers a lot of ground with agents in just about every surrounding region and the power shift led to more than a little unrest. Everyone is delegated to their own roles in the new hierarchy; Bruno takesover for Polpo completely, heading over Passione’s main territory and deciding the fate of potential new entrants, Mista is his faithful right hand and bodyguard, and you are his eyes and ears where he needs you to be. You know Naples well and Giorno trusts youto keep him informed on any issues around the city outside of Bruno’s range on everything from any remaining remnants of drug use to possible rival gangs emerging to even the slightest bit of unrest among the gang.
- It’s a long while before he feels comfortable enough to relax even a little and just enjoy the fruits of his labors as Passione is reformed. It’s always a joy to hear your reports of grateful citizens and how troublemakers have been taken care of. And you put him at ease when you do deliver bad news; he knows you’re doing your job. He can’t help, but smile a little whenever you walk in, knowing what news he’s in the mood to hear. He trusts your judgement and opinion more than he does most others.
- Now, his mood just naturally eases when you’re around, whether it’s for business or just a chat. He’s not shy showing you how grateful he is, thanking you constantly and praising your work effort. Once some of the tension has settled and he can relax a little more, he’s happy to take some of your recommendations of restaurants and cafes, your favorite shows, always picking up the tab. He grabs a few gifts as souvenirs for you both and treasures all the ones he has. It’s really a nice reprieve from the day to day stress, to just be able to enjoy the city with a trusted friend.
- If there’s anyone who can see what’s happening, it’s Mista because goodness knows Giorno probably doesn’t or, if he does, he’s not saying anything about it. Mista knows romance – he’s seen every movie on the subject – it’s obvious to him. He isn’t afraid to joke about being the third wheel on your dates.
- At first Giorno dismisses his musings, but it doesn’t take long for him to ask hypothetically if there was maybe just a little truth in the idea that maybe – just maybe – he might be a little bit more fond of you than he lets on, how should he go about saying anything without putting any pressure on you, since he is your boss and all, his face turned away to hide his blush. It’s a mistake he won’t make twice. Every idea Mista has sounds even more ridiculous than the last, but Giorno has no experience with romance whatsoever.
- By the time you arrive for your usual meeting, you can feel a little bit of tension in the air. Giorno seems a little less sure of himself than normal and Mista is practically beaming. The latter excuses himself for some unexplained errand and you contemplate whether you want to know what’s going on. He assures you it’s nothing, but the room is a little stuffy. Maybe you can give your report over lunch if you don’t mind a short walk to the cafe nearby; it would be a shame to waste such a beautiful day. How could you say no?
Pannacotta Fugo
- Fugo cares a lot for those around him, friend or not, and always at least tries to make an effort to get involved with what they’re doing. He can’t help his temper at the worst of times, but most everyone around him knows how to deal with it; he gets over himself fast, apologizes and the day goes about as normal.
- He has a lot of knowledge and is grateful to finally have someone to share it with, to let him ramble on and on without walking away or trying to change the subject before he even finishes. It actually catches him off guard the first time he realizes you’re actually paying attention to that he’s saying. If you’ll let him, he’d enjoy taking you to museums and around cultural centers you’ve never beento just to talk about them. Of course, he’s always ready to return the favor. He’ll let you go on and on about your own hobbies and actively try to join in at least once – he feels it’s the least he can do.
-Fugo is smart enough to figure out when he’s his crush on his own; when he realizes he can’t stop talking to or about you, when he hangs himself on your every word and can’t tear his gaze away from that twinkle you get in your eye when you get really passionate. Unfortunately, these aren’t exactly feeling he’s used to working with and he has no idea how to go about dealing with them. On the one hand, he knows hiding his emotions has never been his strong suit, but on the other he’s terrified of rejection. He values you too much to even consider risking upsetting the delicate balance between you both.
- Too bad for him his feelings are way too obvious, no matter how hard he tries to hide it. He can’t be in the same room as you without turning the slightest bit red or getting incredibly quiet – he’ll get shy and start stammering, he knows it. He tries to avoid you for a while until he can come to grips with things, but can’t stay away for long; there are only so many excuses he can make before he ends up losing you, anyway, which is exactly what he wants to avoid. The others are hardly helping, laughing at his obvious crush and telling him to just go for it. He will, just when he feels he’s really ready.
-It all boils to a point where he can’t take it, anymore. All these emotions are tiring and irritating and he wants nothing to do with them anymore. He’ll snap if he doesn’t do something soon. He tries talking himself up and rehearses his confession all day before meeting with you somewhere you can have enough privacy so if things don’t go well, at least no one will know. He starts to wonder just how good an idea this really is before you show up, happy he called to finally talk over whatever has been bothering him. Your worry over his well being was enough to put him at ease a little. Maybe he could do this after all.

Hrmmm…,,.,,, now what do I think of yooouu….,,,..
Well… okay.
When I first started on Tumblr, I had… no real confidence in my art. I was doing it for fun, but… I also never much liked what I produced. So, when I started garnering attention and people started especially noticing my work, it was… scary. Overwhelming. Exciting, of course, but… it was a lot for a 14ish y/o to deal with.
Then I got into IHNM and… wowzers. Suddenly there was this thing that I could just stick to. Enjoy and draw for with no real thought behind it. I had this sudden burst of “I want to create!!!! I want to join people and have fun and be silly and not think about if my art has to be good or not!!” And… man. Out of the blue I was just having raw fun with something.
But… still. As much fun as I was having, I was so scared to… share that enjoyment. Let people see my silly AUs and hear me ramble about my OCs. But, again!! People liked it!!! People who I thought were really cool were actually giving my silly stuff attention.
And this username kept popping up- on every reblog with tags that made me laugh, or smile, or just feel genuine honor- there was the same name. Ofc, it was yours.
Then I joined the Belly of AM Discord, and!!! Oh my god, people knew who I was there!!!! I’d chatted with a few through tumblr, sure, but for those people to welcome me into their little group with name alone? Ahhh!!!!
And, especially, there was you. You listened to all my rambles, replied to me in chats, talked to me through VC, stumbled through my insane texts and just… you were just always there.
And then you put out a hand, and started reaching to be present, out of fandom. Out of reality.
Thank you for being a friend. For being so encouraging, and kind, and welcoming, and- human, really.
I was in a dark place when I first started speaking to you on a more personal level- had been for a while, and… kinda still am. But you, and everyone I’ve met through Tumblr and Discord, have aided me in achieving a much healthier mindset.
I don’t know where I’d be without a friend like you. I don’t know where I’d be with people like you. And it all sounds weird to say, but!! man… I’m really glad I get to be part of your day-to-day. You’ve brought me to a place I didn’t think I’d be- both from just being yourself, and from you lifting me up.
Thank you for being my friend. Really. I hope, whatever future lies ahead, is one where you’re happy. I know it, actually. Someone like you gets a happy ending.
-Beento
I-
*sigh* Okay.
Honestly? I did not expect us to have close friends. I really did, genuinely, want to befriend you but I'm shy about these things, so the best I could do was just, let you know I loved your artwork and OCs through tags and replies and whatnot!!! And I was perfectly cool with it. I loved your art, and your AUs, and this creative energy you had going on and it helped me get out of my funk I had been stuck in for ages where I wasn't writing or drawing or doing anything. Because, I wanted to have the same courage you had to put myself out there!!!
And then you joined the discord, and I got super excited, because "Oh!!! I know this person!!! We're mutuals, and we get along, and now I get to see more of their content and I get to learn more about them!!!"
And I did, and it was great!!! And then we started rping together, and talking about OCs with each other, and it just kinda blossomed and I got to see *you* blossom into this super amazing person that really had an impact on my life, even if it doesn't seem like it first glance!!! Like, man, I'm so so so happy to have gotten to meet you.
And then when we started actually, opening up to each other, and talking on vc and whatnot? I felt like. Honored, ig? That you wanted to in the first place??? That you LIKED and CARED for my OCs, and even more, cared for ME??? As much as I care for you, even!!!
I meant what I said. I'm so proud of you. Of all the things you've had to face, and the things you're facing now, and the things you'll face eventually; I'm proud of you for doing it! For making it out! For still, being here, existing, making my life and the lives of everyone else better, and for you choosing to make yourself better, even if it's hard to do right now!!! You're literally so incredible, I cannot stress that enough. And I'm really honored that you allow me to be there to support you and cheer you on while you go and do incredible things!!! For letting me be a part of your life.
I feel like I could go on about this but I'd just, be rambling on in circles. But like, bottom line:
Thank you. And I care about you, immensely. And I really do wish you the best in everything you do.
And never forget where it all started: Me feeling very strongly about Benny telling AM about the FNAF lore.
It's crazy what FNAF can do to bring people together /hj
#sara speaks :3#positive post#kinda personal?#Sorry for those reading this and wondering what in hell's going on vbfndjkncds#ily Beento!!!! /p

Ok ok I was gonna wait to post these but apparently I’ve decided to just. completely change my design for Faroe. Soooo I’ll get these outta the way before I forget :] I like the design but I want to give her a far more “Freak of a person” look, if that makes sense.
The below sketch was a panel for a small comic I was planning on doing but scrapped (for now, I might actually finish it later). Context is that it was just AU!Faroe talking to ‘our’ Arthur. It ends with them hugging and him apologizing. I think i had a dialogue idea of “You’re not my dad.” “I know. I know I’m not.” And it almost made me crumble into pieces and cry …
OK SORRY FOR RAMBLING TAKE THIS ART WHILE I SCURRY OFF AND REDESIGN OUR FAVORITE TORTURED GIRL <3

Malevolent posting uhh I think the idea of John ‘existing’ outside of Arthur’s head as a sort of ghost/shadow that no one else can see and can’t touch anything is both mildly funny (for the expressional range) and kinda. sad.
Because all I can see is Arthur going through the wringer again and John so desperately wants to help, but all he has is a single left hand to work with. So, even though Arthur can’t feel it, and can’t see him, John, I think, would smooth back his hair — or at least pretend to do so — and hold his shoulders steady, cup his face. Trace lines over his bloodied knuckles, adjust his tie, fake-fix him up as best he can. Even though it’s futile and fake.
But maybe Arthur can sense him. Like, the hairs stand up in the spot that John is touching. It’s subtle, and maybe it’s just the wind, but there’s something … soothing about it. Calming. He grows to appreciate the tenderness of it all.

wonderin... who are oscar and noel to faroe, respectively? comrades? father figures? allies?
Oh all of the above.
Oscar starts out as Just Some Guy to Faroe. She likes him enough, he’s nicer to her than anyone’s been in months, but she has trouble with trusting folk. She warms up to him eventually — especially after their father/daughter amputation bonding. That goes just swell.
Noel is a more immediate parental/supporting figure to her. Right off the bat he’s doing everything in his power to keep this snarky ass girl safe, and if that means getting himself hurt, well … shrug. It’s worth it in his book.
The two of them offer a very, very big sustaining comfort for her. Just two random guys who, despite everything, genuinely care about her and want her to make it out of all this alive. And, down the line, she realizes she’s able to replicate and reciprocate those feelings.
It can be tough, though. Poor Faroe has some major daddy issues going on. It’s the main reason she’s so immediately resistant to whatever care they offer.
^^ I think this sums it up pretty well
