Have Mariner interact with her mentor, hell have that AU's Mariner be around as either Sitos' XO or Captain of another AU ship on the other side of rift desperate to rescue her mentor.

I agree that the maid we met is not Sophie. Truly, Sophie has not been introduced at all yet. I don't think she was lurking in any of the houses we've seen.

Now her being at the aunt's home is intriguing. Especially if that home is close to My Cottage maybe?

Now to bring in the Masquerade. Say that Cressida has cousins through this aunt. Cousins who come to town to attend the dowager Viscountess' last big soiree in Bridgerton House. Cressida is not allowed of course as she has disgraced herself. But a few maids come to attend the cousins, maids including Sophie. Of course they stay with the Cowpers. Sophie must stay out of sight to avoid her father (who is a violent man) and stepmother, so she stays in the basement rooms when not needed. What does she find there? A beautiful silver dress with matching demi mask.

Back to the country, say this aunt throws a soiree of her own and Benedict attends purely out of social obligation. Here he saves Sophie from being attacked by her OWN MALE COUSIN and his friends and whisks her off to My Cottage. Aunt doesn't really care that she's gone because she's a bastard nuisance anyway.

Lord that got long 😁😁. But I think these could be great plots.

Wait... I just had a thought...

Care for some Sophie Beckett speculation?

I've seen some posts on Threads where people are speculating that the maid we get a glimpse of at the Cowper residence - the who Cressida asks for help from - might be Sophie. I couldn't remember who they were talking about, so I'm currently rewatching episodes 7 & 8. (Episode 7 is where we see the maid.)

And not to quash anyone's theories, because this truly is all just speculation, but the maid's performance just doesn't scream Sophie to me. In my mind I'd expect more timidness, stiffer, stilted speech, a more unhappy look on her face, and possibly a gaunt countenance. Maybe even fear or wariness the second Cressida asked her for help. Idk, I just don't think that was her.

BUT! Now I'm on epsiode 8, and just got to the part where we meet the Aunt come to take Cressida away to the countryside. And simply by her tone, remarks, and countenance we know this woman is a BITCH. Cressida's mother (remember, who is named Araminta) even remarks that she forgot how horrible a woman this aunt is. SO, what if the "Araminta from the books" character is kind of split into two: Araminta Cowper & this Aunt.

Sophie is still a bastard, Lord Cowper is her father, and he's pawned her off on his sister - the Aunt - to live out in the country where he doesn't have to deal/see her. Both Araminta & the Aunt know who Sophie really is and both hate her, but we need someone doling out some truly horrible treatment and that could fit the Aunt's personality.

This also gives Cressida more storyline, because truthfully I wasn't sure how they were going to bring Cressida back in after this season. BUT having Sophie at the Aunt's house gives Cressida plot out in the country that can also loop in Benedict & the Bridgerton's since this is obviously their stories. And as we all know, there is Benedict/Sophie plot out involving the countryside, so that helps too.

Idk, this all literally just popped into my head and now I'm word-vomiting it here. Anyone else see the plausibility? Thoughts?

If you were tasked with coming up with a new jellycat concept what animal color and texture would you choose and what would you call it?

This might be super unpopular, but I want a soft terry cloth texture Jellycat Line, I love terry cloth. I would simply call them Terry Bear, Terry Puppy etc... The colors would be "gentle", the opposite of Jellycat's bright and colorful designs. Maybe a baby blue or a light brown.

My second new design idea that I really would love to see would be Jellycats flying plush airplanes. (The pilot would be removeable from the airplane of course) And I want the Jellycat inside the airplane to be big enough to cuddle, like Medium Bashful size. So this would be a larger plush overall.

The texture for that would be the "Super Softies" texture that the Snuglets have (eg. Barnaby Pup, Beckett Fox, Benji Koala, Brodie Monkey etc..) or the "Beautifully Scrumptious" texture. Just the softest Jellycat texture all around. I would probably call them "Pilot Pup", "Pilot Bunny", "Pilot Hamster", "Pilot Kitten" etc... It needs to happen.

I can imagine Toto’s wolf girlfriend standing between his legs when he stands around and talks to someone or she sits next to him with her snout of his lap to get ear rubs while he is sitting at the pit wall being team boss and everyone at merc knows not to mess with her or else they will get an earful. you would think toto's completely immersed in his duties as team principal while at the pit wall, but he literally has the sharpest hearing when it comes to his shapeshifting!gf. lewis will literally be talking about bottoming issues with the car, but if toto hears the telltale bored sigh of his gf on the side, you can bet that his gf would immediately be getting the attention lmaooo

the second he hears that whimper of pain when some poor mechanic steps on her tail, my gosh, you would think somebody got murdered at merc. he goes off at the dude, and even threatens to get kimi to get fetch his "tiger" to come eat the engineer (kimi did not agree, and neither did his gf). headsets def were smashed. it gets to a point where even his gf has to physically push him back with her body and like, headbutt him lightly, because, come on, maybe sending a pipe bomb to the guy's house is a little too much for gently stepping on her tail.

(the mechanic def leaves to go work for like, vcarb the following weeks because 1) it's way less likely to accidentally step on a bunny and raccoon 2) yuki, daniel, and laurent would prob get mad, but weren't gonna threaten his life even if he did step on their shapeshifting!gfs)

It's not even a real plot bunny, just an idea that I like a lot: James being with the crew at world's end when they go to rescue Jack. I don't know how he got there, and if Beckett still has the heart, but I like the idea of, when Jack goes around pointing at people and telling them he doesn't like them, him pointing at James, going "You tried to kill me thrice! And betrayed me!", and then just kissing him and amending "but you're pretty, so you can stay".

He keeps kissing James in the next days, and James keeps kissing him, and noone gets any explanation for what happened. I have the vague idea that they had an affair before and both finally decided they're not going back to the status quo anyway, so they can finally commit, but that's just one option.

Have I ever actually mentioned how addicted I am to brewing Magic decks? I currently have 37 Commander decks... that is to say the decks I currently have physically built for playing with. I just thought it might be fun to share a list of them, complete with Moxfield links. I even sorted them into a few different categories for better organization.

Trans Women of Magic (pet project to build a deck around every canon trans woman on a Magic card)
