hi baby if you feel up for it i'd love to request some fluffy fluff with sirius. maybe he's usually so reserved and stoic (because, cmon) and they're out with his friends and they're all making fun of him for being so lovey and doting on r
love u sm!
love you!! ♡ fem, 1k
"This is really lovely," Sirius says, your face turned to the light in his hand. "It's bright without looking out of place. Blue is your colour."
"Thanks, bug," you murmur back, holding still as he cleans the smudged mascara from your lower lash line.
"Every colour is your colour," he amends. "It goes nice with your top."
You rub your lips together slowly, sticky with gloss. His noticing makes all your make up efforts worth it.
Sirius wipes his thumb into the tissue you'd given him and tucks it away, stroking your cheek one last time with his other hand before stealing yours to twine your fingers. Your friends have carried on into the pub, but it doesn't take long to catch them. Remus was kind enough to wait at the entrance, eyebrows raised.
"What?" Sirius asks.
"Nothing." It's clearly something. "At all."
You figure it's between them and skirt past Remus with a smile, eager to hide away in the warm wooded walls of The Firestroke. The boys filter in behind you, following you through the entryway and past the bar to the table James has commandeered with Emmeline.
He's fiddling with her hair, readjusting a bobby pin, another held between his lips. "It looks nice, Emme, you should have it out of your face more often."
"Marl says that all the time. Hey!" She beams at you. "Come and sit by me."
You laugh happily and slide onto the seat next to her. You, Emme, and James sit on the booth side while Sirius and Remus set themselves down opposite. A waitress arrives and Sirius doesn't wait for the others, ordering a round of drinks for the entire group, wherever they may be. They'll filter in soon enough.
"And extra cherries for my girl, please," Sirius says, nodding to you as he does. "Thanks."
"Ooh, for his girl," James croons.
"Remember when he'd order stuff for me like that?" Remus asks.
Sirius rolls his eyes, offering his hands to you from across the table. Honestly, you're slightly surprised at his behaviour today, but you won't look a gift horse in the mouth. You lay your hands in his obligingly and relax as he begins to draw shapes into the fronts of your fingers, tiny stroking lines that feel ridiculously good, even under the eyes of your friends. "He's lying. I'd purposefully get his food wrong when we were teenagers so he'd have to go up to the counter and correct it."
"Like exposure therapy I never signed up for," Remus sighs. "It worked, too."
Sirius laughs. He's handsome to begin with, the last burst of a tan from summer's end on his skin, his hair dark and lush in the shimmering light, and when he laughs it's a tenfold effect, the grey of his eyes suddenly mesmerising, the wicked curve of his smile softened into a sweeter thing that begs to be kissed, or admired at the very least. You let him keep one hand but turn the other inward to give him similar treatment, rubbing your fingertips up and down his palm in a ticklish wave.
"Do that to me, mate, there's a good lad," James says, offering his hand. Emmeline bats it away.
"Awfully jealous today, aren't they?" Sirius asks you, ignoring their teasing to curl your fingers in and cover them.
"I…" You're not sure what to say. Does he not realise how sweet he's being? Publicly? He's not usually this open.
"You okay?"
"Fine, just…" Words fail you twice. You cringe at your lack of explanation, but Sirius doesn't falter in his nice touches. It shouldn't shock you when he slides his chair tight against the table and pulls your hands ever closer, his top lip scratchy with hair as he leans down to kiss your knuckles. "Siri."
"Yes, darling?"
"Jesus," Marl says, announcing her presence with a faked gag. "What's your problem, Black?"
"I'm deeply in love, McKinnon. Not that you'd know what that feels like."
You melt in your chair as he kisses a short path to your wrist. You could write Marlene a ten thousand word essay on love if she needed it, that's how adored he's got you feeling.
"Absolutely vile."
"So sweet!" Mary denies, plopping herself down in the chair beside Sirius', all pink tulle and flowery smells. Any other day you'd be jealous of her in a good-natured but undeniably insecure manner, terrified that Sirius was gonna turn to her and see her in all her dewy beauty, but he doesn't so much as look up, your hands now rubbed against his cheek.
"He's had a bit of catnip or something," Remus says.
"It's the eyeshadow," you try to explain.
Sirius lifts his head severely. "It looks perfect, but it's definitely not the eyeshadow. I'd feel just as mad about you if you were covered in soot."
"Good to know," you say breathlessly.
"Oh, so you're feeling pathetic today?" Marl asks.
Sirius sighs as though he's been greatly inconvenienced and sits up properly, casting his gaze around the group for a lick of sense between them, if his slack eyebrows are anything to go off of. "You're all wrong. I'm this pathetic for her every day of the week."
"Then what's with the PDA?" James asks incredulously.
"Mate, first of all, look at her. And if you must know, it's our anniversary."
You flinch, your gaze jumping to his. The group erupts with well wishes and 'why didn't you say so's, and James slaps his card on the table, insisting that the round is on him to celebrate. Your heart races as you make the calculations in your head, calming as you realise that nothing falls on today's date, not a half month nor a first date.
"Sirius?" you ask while everyone's distracted.
He takes your hand again and begins kissing your knuckles once more. "I'm lying," he says, as you'd figured, scratching your fingers with his stubble. "That's what he gets for prying… You really do look lovely tonight."
You nearly swallow your tongue. "Thank you. You look lovely, too."
He smiles, twining your fingers together to rest his face against the back of your hand. "Thanks, angel."

Full Kook - Part 2
A Protective/Sweet/Obsessive/Possessive!Rafe&JJ Fanfic
-'The Morning After' -
Warnings: Mentions of drugs, Alcohol, Language, SA, Abuse, Sex, Bad writing!! Word count: 1.9K Summary of Part 1: Small teaser of what life with Thomas Brooks is like. Including the advantages and disadvantages of living with the 3 most troubled boys on Kildare Island.
A/N: Please don’t rely on any timings for a release of any parts, I have little motivation and I’m purely writing this because I enjoy it. If it’s not for you please move on <3
Previous part
Bella’s Pov:
"Good morning!!!" I call, skipping into the living room after getting freshly washed and ready for the day.
JJ and Rafe both lay asleep on the couch and without me interfering I know full well they will never wake up.
Just the sound of my voice alone causes both boys to sit up, turning to me on high alert as if I was being murdered. I giggle at the sight, knowing both of them would go miles to protect me, causing a slight blush to colour my cheeks.
"Morning, sleepyheads!" I repeat, dragging my fingers through their hair, watching as their drowsy eyes follow my own with a sleepy smile spread across both their faces.
"G'morning gorgeous.." JJ reaches back to take my waist in his hand, squeezing softly as a yawn escapes his mouth.
He lifts himself off the couch, placing a kiss ontop my head; leaving me with Rafe as he excuses himself to the bathroom.
Rafe leans over to the table, helping himself to the last of his drag as he turns his body towards me; a smile taking his lips. "Sleep good, princess?" His fingers glaze mine that sat on the back of the couch beside him; a smile pulling at my cheeks as I struggle to keep eye contact.
The way they both speak to me sends me into a spiral, but admitting it would be like telling them the whole island wants them; they’re both true but saying it out loud would confirm them and I’m not gonna let myself deal with the outcome.
Rafe notices my blushed cheeks, causing a smirk to appear along his face, well aware of the effect he has on me. I nod, face brightening before the moment gets cut short by a slam of a door.
Me and Rafe never get time to be alone; I'm always with JJ or my dad, and Rafe and I aren't the most accepted friends by the island so hanging out alone seems almost a rarity. So those little moments when we do get a bit of silence together is quite peaceful and very cherished by the both of us. The need of more takes over sometimes; alone time with Rafe is the only time I can really let my hair down and relax, surprisingly, so who can blame me for wanting more from time to time?
Me and Rafe both look up past the living room as JJ comes back out, staring at his hand. "J? You okay?" I walk over, watching as his eyes darken, only growing my concern. Rafe's expression falls and his attention turns back to his joint, wishing to be able to talk to me even that little bit more, not caring at all for the unnecessary drama JJ is probably going to make over the smallest thing (yet again), most likely a tiny paper cut or something.. and me babying him like it’s the end of the world because my maternal instincts kick in whenever either of them have even the littlest issue.
"JJ, what's going on?" My eyebrows dip as I tilt my head to catch his expression. He lifts his own slowly as he gives me his fist. I watch his eyes as I raise my hands to open his palm. Catching a glimpse of a smirk on his face, my eyes widen knowing exactly where this is going.
He reaches down, quickly chucking me over his shoulder as he runs round to the couch; throwing me down beside Rafe, before pegging it towards my room. He only made it as far as the kitchen before I reached him, pulling myself onto his back and hooking my legs around his waist, securing myself onto him.
He laughs, grabbing my thighs to adjust me into a more comfortable position before accepting it and deciding to make some toast.
I giggle in his ear, watching the pure enjoyment take over his face as he mindlessly helps himself in my kitchen.
I turn back as best I could to see Rafe sat on the couch still, legs spread, scrolling on his phone. I frown, about to open my mouth before-
"Sunshine, 'm ho- get off him!!"
We all adjust ourselves: Me dropping off of JJ's back, JJ hiding the knife and toast behind him as he turns around to conform to whatever words come out of my Dad's mouth next, and Rafe sitting up, grabbing the ash tray and sliding it beneath the couch, unaware that there was absolutely no backing to it.
Me and JJ glare at each other before watching the now obvious joint sat at my dad's feet.
"Sh.. shit.." Rafe looks up at me expecting some sort of reaction or snarky comment but by the pure fear in my eyes he knew it was worse than a little joke.
I follow dad’s body as he leans down, picking up the tray, and guiding it to his face to take a sniff. Without hesitation, he storms over, the anger in his eyes seeping into my blood. I could feel a lump gathering in the back of my throat.
JJ’s hand found mine, squeezing tightly as he pulls me into his side safely and slowly enough that my dad wouldn’t pick up on it.
“What the hell is this?!” Dad shoves the weed-filled cigarette into my face, causing a flood of coughs to escape my mouth. “Hm?” He jerks his head to the side, pulling my attention back to him as I clear my throat once more.
My mouth falls open but no words manage to leave; my eyes glass over and JJ’s grip on my hand tightens letting me know how painfully obvious I was being.
“Going to explain, or are ya' just gonna stand there like a little lost sheep?” His voice was low, gravelly, like he’d just rolled out of bed. But I knew it wasn’t the truth. It cut straight through the tension building in the air like a knife, making JJ take a breath and straighten himself up. Acting from experience..
“Sir.” He coughs, grabbing my dad’s focus. “She had no part in it, sir. It’s mine, promise.” Rafe let's a light tug at his lips at the thought of JJ taking the full blame, when they both know JJ would get the worst of it anyways.
We watch as his face falls, eyebrows dipping so low his eyes were unnoticeable. “Bella.” He speaks but his eyes don’t leave JJ’s. “Tell me. I won’t ask again. What. Is. This?” His sentences were short and blunt. The obvious impatient tone in his voice making my blood run cold. The sheer nothingness behind his eyes, I was used to by now, but still struck a point of fear in me nothing else could.
I don’t get scared of much. I grew up watching R-rated movies, went ghost hunting with JJ and Rafe in abandoned buildings from the age of like 10, had JJ’s horror games on in the background of my room at 3 am every night because he couldn’t sleep. Yet something about my dad always got to me. It wasn’t even the fact he was a threat, it was just that look on his face, constantly, that always seemed to itch at my skin.
“Dad..” I manage to let out before swallowing the courage to stand up to him this early in the morning. I step closer, wrapping my arms lightly around his beer belly and resting my head against his chest. I forced my eyebrows from scrunching as I held myself together, “I’m sorry.. I promise, I didn’t do anything. I didn’t even know it was there.. Just, please let it be, we had a good day yesterday..” The slight crack in my softened tone caused my dad’s arm to take my body into his own.
He places a soft kiss to my head, “Thank you.. 'm glad to hear you three are still gettin' along.”
I lift my head, tilting it slightly at his words, “We’ve always been okay?”
A calming smile takes his lips, steadying my nerves as I watch his face brighten from the sight of me, “Y'know, I’ll always worry 'bout my li'l girl.. Just makin' sure is all, Sunshine.” He kisses me again, this time on the bridge of my nose, before looking back at Rafe, his grip firmly settled on my hip. “You’re lucky I don’t speak to your father 'bout this. 'nd you?” His head shoots to JJ and I see him flinch, almost, at the motion; the feeling of guilt eating into me wondering why I threw the blame onto him in the first place. “I told ya' to keep that away from 'er. I know that you’re old enough to make your own decisions but if you’re living under my roof, you go by my rules. Understand?”
I grip onto the bit of fabric that sat under my hand, lightly tugging to let my dad know he’s being too rough. Usually the action would cause an outburst but with Rafe and JJ around he’s naturally much calmer anyways. I wish I was joking..
JJ nods almost instantly, his adam’s apple bobbing as he gulped down his fear.
Dad chuckles, a laugh that caused a shiver down anyone's spine. He pulls JJ into him, squeezing him hard as he pats his palm to his back. “Love you, kid..”
I didn’t hear what he said to him, but the smile that appeared across JJ’s cheeks melted my heart. Only dad can make him smile like that, and it genuinely heals that little part of me that ever thought he was a bad person. Seeing JJ smile is my world, and I’d watch it over and over if I could.
Dad pats his back once more before standing back up, “Right toilet, then work! Ready, Sunshine?”
I smile, giving him a nod, “Of course!” I exclaim, lightly running my fingers over my skirt to flatten out any creases.
He heads off to the bathroom and I hurry JJ and Rafe out whilst he’s still in a good mood.
“Will you be at the club today?” I rest a hand on Rafe’s chest as his lays against the small of my back, a soft smile pulling at his cheeks.
“Obviously, princess.. You’ll be alright?” He motions his head over to the bathroom door and I let out a small laugh.
“Rafe Cameron.. Worried about me..? Bella Brooks? He could never..” I giggle my words out softly, watching his expression harden before a smirk pulls through. A breath escaping the gap of his lips as he pulls my head into his neck, his arms engulfing me in his scent.
“GOD!! You two done? Gotta go before her dad decides we’re dead meat bro.” He smacks Rafe’s back, taking me from his arms and into his own.
Rafe lets out a deep sigh as he watches discontently. My head laying on JJ’s chest the same way it was on his, wondering what could be going through JJ’s head, only imagining the worst.
“See you tonight, alright..? Be careful, and call if you need anything..” He rests his forehead on mine, his lips landing a kiss on the tip of my nose as I return one back.
“Will do. Dad..” I smirk, watching his face drop and his hands shove me away.
“Fuck you too, asshole.” He grabs Rafe by his arm and pulls him out the door; both shouting ‘love you’ in unison as they raise their hands to wave me a goodbye. Avoiding any last sightings from my dad before they disappear.
Once dad was ready we set off to the Island Club for work; talking shit about anything and anyone we were just about to face 5 minutes from now.
Didn’t realise how little happened in such a chunk of words until I read through it lol. Long awaited second part which isn’t finished but thought it’d been too long since the first part so just split it instead 😭
Enjoy ❤️🌹 xx

𝒎𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍 (ma ange)
valentine's day masterlist - christmas lights
summary - steve writes you something so special.
the gif and header I use aren't mine.
Warnings and Reminders - Please do not plagiarise, copy, repost/republish, adapt, or translate any of my work on any social media platforms, apps, or third-party sites. The only platforms I post my work on are: Tumblr and Wattpad. I do not own any character of any franchise (Marvel etc.) All my works are fiction and may be dark or triggering content: READ ALL WARNINGS BEFORE PROCEEDING.
Steve peaked his head around the corner, watching you gently open the letter he laid out for you. He put so much effort into the envelope, decorating it with cute red and pink hearts and doodling more on the note with coloured roses. His tiny hands go into his mouth as Steve nibbles on his fingernails, feeling the nerves set in. Steve had taken his time to write you a beautiful love letter alongside a drawing he drew of you.
You smiled as you opened the envelope, loving how your name was written in cursive. Your smile only grew more prominent as you began to read, tears welling as no one had ever written you something so sweet before. You trace the beautifully written words with your finger, taking them in as you feel your heart fill with love.
My angel,
I put a lot of thought into what to get you for Valentine’s Day, which was extremely hard as you are the first person I’ve ever had the pleasure of loving. My only hope would be that you’ll also be my last because my heart only belongs to you. I didn’t think I’d ever know true happiness until I met you. Those many Christmases that passed with me only being able to watch you from afar were painful but so worth it when I finally got to have you in my life.
I have to be honest. The thing that attracted me to you the most was your smile. Your smile is the most beautiful thing to me. I have never known someone who could light up a room with just a smile. Yet, you proved me wrong.
You’re so perfect, and you’re driving me insane. I wake, excited to see you, to hear you. You make me so happy that my cheeks begin to hurt from always smiling. You truly deserve the world. Hell, you deserve the universe. I don’t understand how anyone could pass by you without wanting you, but I’m glad no one had claimed you as there’s because then we wouldn’t have gotten to meet you, which was the best day of my life.
God, you’re so gorgeous. You’re my daydream, my angel.
You will forever be in my heart,
Love,
Steve.
You wept, wiping a stray tear from your eye as you finished reading the letter and looked at Steve's drawing. Your eyes drift up from the letter as you hear a sound. A soft smile appears as you spot Steve sneaking forward with a shy look on his face. You kneel, placing your palm onto the ground, giggling as he climbs onto your palm. You lift your hand, bringing the tiny elf up to your face. “Thank you, Stevie. You’re so sweet and so talented!” You place a gentle, loving kiss on his little head.
His cheeks turn a bright red, grinning wildly at you before he leans forward and hugs your face. Pressing kisses on your face, giggling as he goes. “I only speak the truth, you are so beautiful, and I just want to thank you for being here with us.”
“I wouldn’t dream of being anywhere else. I love you guys so much.”
thank you for reading!
feedback and reblogs are greatly appreciated.

Melon Ranks Sprigatito Plushies (But Only The Ones I Own Sorry)
BOOTLEG SPRIGATITO
Face Leaf Pattern Thing: Embroidered Edges
Eyes: Fully Embroidered
Neck Leafs: Two Strips of Fabric
Cheek Fluff: Strips of Fabric
:D or :3 Face: :D
Ears: Flat and floppy
Huggability Rating: 2/10 (This thing is stuffed like a rock, man.)
Overall rating: 3/10
Overview: Probably the worst plush you could get. The colour is too... radioactive, the tail is sewn on upside down in a way???? (that little tuft is supposed to be pointing upwards), the legs are weird., it's head is very flat. This plush is very obviously based on the official art and was made long before we ever saw Sprigatito in 3D (I got mine in May 2022) so it's flat out missing things that aren't visible in the official art like the paw pads and the leaf on the back of Sprigatito's neck. But this one is the OG Melon and my profile pic and I took it on vacation with me so I can't fault it too hard. :)
JAZZWARES/ WICKED COOL TOYS SPRIGATITO
Face Leaf Pattern Thing: Embroidered Edges
Eyes: Fully Embroidered
Neck Leafs: Strip of fabric on top of stuffed thing
Cheek Fluff: Strips of Fabric
:D or :3 Face: :3
Ears: Flat but stuffed with plastic card
Huggability Rating: 3/10 (Stuffed like a brick and the ears are firm and pokey. I'm sad :c )
Overall rating: 5/10
Overview: The dime a dozen Sprigatito plush found in pretty much every single toy store and supermarket that sells toys. No need to order online which is a plus. Got a nice subtle snoot to boop. Because the front neck leaf is stuffed, it sticks out. They don't let you see the back of it in the toy store website reference images, which I thought was weird until I bought it. The back is where it all falls apart. The back neck leaf isn't a single piece, it's too halves sewn together for some reason???? Which causes the seam allowance to make it crinkle up. The tail is the worst I've ever seen on a Sprigatito, at least the bootleg made AN ATTEMPT to look like the official art. The tail is a very narrow carrot shape with a tiny, barely noticeable single fabric triangle for the tuft. Yikes. Though it is made by a third party plush company so I guess the quality not being perfect is to be expected. Jazzwares does other Pokémon that look a whole lot better.
OFFICAL POKÉMON CENTER KEYRING SPRIGATITO
Face Leaf Pattern Thing: Printed on
Eyes: Fully Embroidered
Neck Leafs: Strip of fabric on top of very loosely stuffed thing
Cheek Fluff: Strips of Fabric
:D or :3 Face: :3
Ears: Firmly stuffed with embroidered inside detail
Huggability Rating: No/10 (Good luck hugging something that can fits snugly into the palm of your hand. Maybe hold it like an ice cream)
Overall rating: 7/10
Overview: So smol. 🥺 Perfect for slipping it into your pocket and carrying it everywhere. You're better off not using it as an actual keyring though. Just keep it as a cheaper, minature version of the standard Pokémon Center Sprigatito. The plastic loop is awful, it opens too easily so your Sprig could get lost in the wilderness without you knowing if it actually was put on your backpack. I just cut the keyring off and by that I mean I spent 20 minutes persistently sawing through plastic with fabric scissors so I could attach a normal metal key ring to the loop. Also the back neck leaf is LITERALLY handing on by a thread. It's held on by a single stitch. I get its a small plush, but come on, really????
OFFICIAL POKÉMON CENTER POKÉDOLL SPRIGATITO
Face Leaf Pattern Thing: Printed on
Eyes: Fully Embroidered
Neck Leafs: Strip of fabric on top of very loosely stuffed thing
Cheek Fluff: Not felt! Sewn piece
:D or :3 Face: :3
Ears: Firmly stuffed
Huggability Rating: 7/10 (SQUISHYYYYYYYYY)
Overview: Gonna come right out of the gate and say I really hate this trend of the Pokémon Center just printing on details (i.e the face leaf) instead of embroidery or different coloured fabric stitched on. It reminds me of that £2 Judy Hopps plush my mom bought for me years ago that had the clothes printed on instead of fabric pieces. And that plush was a bargain bin thing that was SUPPOSED to be lower quality. Not a fan of spending £10-15 plus £5 shipping on a plushie with printed details. I just think it looks cheap and I wish they put a little more effort into some of their plushies. It looks like it could be washed away if you put it in a washing machine.
Other than that, BABYYYY!!!!!!!! KITTY!!!!!!!! A BEAN!!!!!!!!!!!! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚IT'S SO FUCKING CUTE LOOK AT THAT FACE OH MY FUCKING GOD. Doesn't have paw pads though. :c BUT IT'S A TOO PURE FOR THIS SINFUL EARTH I WANNA GENTLY HOLD IT FOREVER 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
BUILD A BEAR SPRIGATITO
Face Leaf Pattern Thing: Embroidered Edges
Eyes: Fabric with embroidered edges.
Neck Leafs: ALL LIGHTLY STUFFED
Cheek Fluff: STUFFED
:D or :3 Face: :D
Ears: Stuffed but not too blocky. Very close to ingame model
Huggability Rating: 1000/10 (HELP I'VE BEEN STUCK HERE HUGGING THIS PLUSHIE, I HAVEN'T SEEN MY FAMILY IN TEN YEARS)
Overall rating; 9/10
Overview: Some may hate Build a Bear Pokémon for their chubby proportions but I think this is fucking PERFECTION. No more strips of fabric, every single part is stuffed, the nose is some sort of plastic thing with a fuzzy texture, maybe the muzzle it's on is sticking out a little too much but for once the head ISN'T crammed full of too much stuffing! I think it's close to life size too? Probably. I haven't compared it with Sprigatito's official height yet. AND ITS GOT PAJAMAS. AND A CAPE. THAT FITS ONTO MY EEVEE AND GLACEON BUILD A BEARS TOO. Truly it must be Arceus' gift to the world. If you're willing to give your wallet a sucker punch to the stomach,
BUY IT, GOD DAMN IT, BUY IT
If you want to

I've been watching and rewatching never let me go ever since i watched it in April and god. a show hasn't had a chokehold on me like this since bad buddy. like.
one of the main reasons as to why never let me go is so well done, outside of all the action, is how they show the development of intimacy between palmneung.
neung is complicated. there were moments in my first watch where I was confused because neung was sending palm such obvious signals of interest but would later talk as if he hadn't. and rewatching made me realise that he operates like that. to neung, he was bold and he was pro active but never really hopeful. he would take action but would never feel confident that it would come to fruition. how could he? everytime he tried to trust and hope it was dashed, but somehow he knew that he had to take it slow when it came to palm.
their disbelief of each other's existence shows in their interactions. they realise that attraction, want to know each other, care and concern exists between them. but in different ways they've both been hurt, abandoned, made to think they aren't meant for love.
in palm's case it present like an empty canvas. he chooses to be painted in neung's colours because really no one was interested in knowing him enough to paint before. in neung's case it presents as a vase, cracks and fissures that leak his tiny yet still present hope of finding love one day. and as neung paints palm, palm fills the cracks in neung's vase, fans the dying embers of neung's hope into fire.
their surprise and disbelief at each other's existence shows in their intimacy. so very light- like touching a butterfly wing. you're scared of hurting and making it fly away but the colours. oh the colours are gorgeous.
they fall into each other stumbling, with detours, and u turns but once those colours stain their fingers, they'll find their way back to each other. the kiss on the rooftop (second one that hooked me) gave palm a reprive from his constant want that he repressed and gave neung a taste that he would never be able to forget.
idk where I'm going with this but god, the physical touch depicted in this show is so much to my taste because to me, intimacy comes in those casual touches, especially their forehead touches, palm just holding neung, the easy way in which palm take hold of neung's hand and neung is just happy to let him lead because he'd go anywhere with palm by his side.
bye this is so incoherent I just acted to rant about palmneung and their intimacy

Words aren't my specialty so prepare for word soup spider-sona post, you have been warned
I have no idea how to start this so let's get the basics I have down! This spider-sona is British because you know I am, sticking to what I know, and so the big city they usually protect is London, have I only been there like twice? Yes! Am I doing this anyway? Also yes! Anyway- this spiderman becomes spider man in more of a freak accident, they're visiting London for a week to check out this new science exhibit put on for a limited time only for people to showcase their research, like art fairs for science! Something like that, working on the details but they're interested and manage to get in to see all the cool things and hear how they work, one of these showcases is showcasing a new experiment on spiders... The scientist working on it plans to induce super speed into a silk web spinning spider, the plan is basically if the spider goes really fast it'll make webs really fast and thus you've got a quick supply of spider silk! You'll basically never run out!
Now they've already done it once successfully on a spider they're showcasing as well and they plan to demonstrate the process live today with another spider, as they're already convinced it'll go well with the experience of having done it successfully before, our spiderman here gets an interest in practically everything, even the spider, leaning in to look at the little fella while listening to the explanation of the experiment. When the time comes for the spider fast experiment it ends up going horribly wrong because the equipment explodes, just.. boom! People knocked everywhere and the spiders get out, our soon to be spiderman is knocked down too and while trying to escape the rubble after the explosion they come across a tiny little spider, they crouch down and look at the little fellow, recognizing it as one of the spider experiments but not remembering what one it was, as it crawls on their finger and they think out loud they get interrupted by a fast bite to their palm, slapping the spider away and accidentally killing it.
They are not going to admit they just killed the spider, and entirely decide to blame it on the explosion as they leave the scene of the spider murder and soon after get rescued, it's a whole disaster and it's quite a mess. Something something spider powers! The explosion from the tech plus the experiments made relatively harmless (uk spiders aren't quite poisonous) radioactive fast spiders, and thus after getting bit they get the usual Spidey powers, sticky hands and feet, Spidey sense, super strength and a new one thanks to the experiments specific to that spider, super speed, that's right I'm fixing the heights problem by giving them super speed! Don't need to swing really high up and risk sobbing as spiderman if you can just run real fast and use the webs to help propel yourself forward!
The inspiration for speedy spider over here is spiders that just fucking bolt when you try to kill them and I had a dream where I was spiderman in a spiderverse and my power was speed so clearly my subconscious agrees with me! For the costume it's green because that's my favorite colour, also yellow because green and yellow go great together! I got nothing else for the design just ideas on them
I don't have a name either, in costume or out of costume, there is a green spider in the UK but it's got a lame ass name I ain't using that, my only ideas are like green widow or something leaning more into the speed side like I dunno the speedy spidster? (Pronounce it like Spidey) it's a work in progress! I am working on it, but basically my spider-sona is the flash spiderman, having to run all the way to London when their vacation Is over to save the day is just a part of their job! I'd imagine something might pop up to get them in London more full time but thats the basics! Also no spoilers for anyone reading but they would so socially awkward in the spiderverse, someone says hi and they blue screen, they aren't prepared for this many spideys
#this post will suck for anyone without that automatic read more for long posts enabled#atsv#spidersona#spider-sona#spider sona#atsv spidersona

--------------
Seohyun woke up to her phone buzzing. She groaned and rubbed her eyes, checking who was calling. It was San. She declined the call to read the several text messages he had sent. It was something about how they were all going out for lunch and she was joining (funny how they'd stop asking now, just said it) and that she was... to go on a date with him later.
She texted back a simple OK and checked the time. It was already almost afternoon- she had slept in. After showering, she was brushing her teeth when she paused.
It was gonna be her first date with San.
"Ayyy~" she waved at her reflection, resuming. She wasn't one to make a big deal out of stuff, but she had to admit it was... a little bit exciting. And she couldn't say the same about San. He seemed like the type to take these things serious, like first dates. So she decided that she did not want to disappoint him and would put in a little bit effort.
Seohyun checked her wardrobe. She didn't have much 'cute' stuff. Her first priority was always comfort when she picked her clothes. And they were usually monochrome or dark colours. She didn't like wearing bright stuff. Her only mildly cute outfit was the green dress she'd worn the last time with Jiwoo.
She moved on way too early, Seohyun thought. There was no one to help her dress up now. Her mom...
Seohyun realized there was something. Her mother had given her some sort of a top for her birthday last year. She had buried it in the back of her closet because she had deemed it too 'fashionable' for her. Seohyun threw her clothes out to find it. Indeed, it was still there.
It was a purple blouse with lace around the neck and tiny pearls. She shrugged. She'd pair it with pants and ankle boots.
After dressing up and tying her hair in half a ponytail, she stood in front of the mirror. She looked presentable, if one ignored her still-puffy-from-sleeping face. She sighed and put on the only lip gloss she had. That could do. She smiled at her reflection once before grabbing her phone and leaving the house.
They were meeting at a new café that Yunho and Yeosang had been wanting to try on forever. Yeosang had assured them it had good reviews for their desserts too. They were all already there by the time Seohyun reached. She had spent a good minute admiring the exterior of the café while the boys laughed at her unaware self, watching her through the window.
Mingi waved at her once she was inside and they made space for her. After exchanging greetings, they decided they would order food first. They decided on ordering two of everything and sharing, and once they gave the order, they all looked at Seohyun.
"You look... like you actually made effort today," Hongjoong commented.
"What do you mean?" Seohyun asked, forgetting for a second.
"Hey, don't say that, or she'll never dress up again," San pouted, and Seohyun realized, looking down at her dress.
"Is it too much?" she asked, "I've actually, honestly, never made effort. So I need honest reviews."
"It's not too much, it's perfect," Seonghwa assured, "In fact, you could have done more, but since this is you, it's perfect."
"That sounds.... like a compliment and insult at the same time, thank you Seonghwa."
They laughed and Yeosang said, "Hongjoong's the fashionista. You should only ask him."
"Yes, yes, Seonghwa's right. You look good!"
"That's the only top I had," Seohyun sighed, looking at San who was staring at her with an adorable expression on his face. "The rest of my wardrobe, you've seen."
"I guess we're going shopping then after this. I hope you have the card on you that you liked to flex about so much," Hongjoong smirked.
"I do-"
"But we're going on our first date today-"
"WHAT?!"
Seohyun face-palmed. San had done it.
San looked at Seohyun for help and she sighed. "Well, no need to over-react, Wooyoung. As you all know, San and I are... sort of, uh... dating?"
Yunho snickered first before everyone started laughing at how awkward Seohyun suddenly got, and it was her turn to look at San for help. It wasn't everyday she lost her demeanor. Falling in love did make one a different person, she realized.
"Yeah, so you're sort of dating?" Jongho wiggled his eyebrows.
"Yes, Jongho, we're DATING." Seohyun said, "And San was planning to take me on our first date after this."
"You haven't been on your first date yet?" Wooyoung asked, "But it's been days now that you've been together! Sannie, you disappoint me!"
Before San could choke Wooyoung, Seohyun interrupted, "It was me. I was busy dealing with ghosts. It turns out Jiwoo had actually been a saint. Did anyone of you know that she used to do half my jobs?"
Everyone fell silent as they listened, "She was never 'bored' of coming to school with me. She just had so much time to kill that she'd help ghosts instead of me. I kind of miss her more now."
"That's sweet," Mingi said, "She really was a great friend."
"I know right! Anyways, this is the reason we haven't had our first date yet."
Other than San, the boys shared looks, and Seohyun saw with dread the devilish smirks appear on their faces as they announced: "Too bad! We're crashing your first date!"
San groaned and dramatically fell back in his chair while Seohyun gaped at them. "I-I'm speechless for once." Laughter filled the room as she said, "If that's what friends are for, I think I'm gonna change my mind..."
Before anyone could protest, food came and they started discussing Hongjoong's love for fashion and the various items he had reformed. Hongjoong assured her if she had a clothing item or something she would like to reform, he was the man.
"I do have this denim jacket that I'm too attached to," Seohyun thought about it, "Can you write something cool on the back of it?"
"Yes, just give me the jacket whenever you can. It'll take no more than two days, unless we have exams."
Seohyun looked at Seonghwa for confirmation and he nodded. "He also makes custom bracelets for us."
"Nice," Seohyun said, "I'd like some too," she wiggled her brows at Hongjoong, who laughed and nodded.
"So what were you gonna do on your first date?" Wooyoung and Jongho leaned in and asked Seohyun.
"San was the one in charge, ask him," she said.
"I was thinking we'd just walk aimlessly around the city..."
They both tsk-ed at San, muttering something about how he was an 'amateur' and would probably bore me to death.
"Hey, that's a nice idea actually. I don't mind."
"You're just saying that to be nice," Jongho said and Seohyun folded her arms.
"I don't say things to be nice, Choi Jongho."
Everyone hooted at that, having heard her, and Seohyun stared at her drink intensely, contemplating if she should 'accidentally' spill it on everyone.
"But she's right, actually," Yeosang said, "She doesn't say things to be nice. If she didn't like that idea, I'm sure she would have said to San with a hidden insult in between. I'm right, aren't I?"
"Thank you, Yeosang," Seohyun said, "I love you."
Yeosang saluted and San pouted, "Hey! You haven't even said that to me yet!"
Everyone was silent for a good minute before they burst out laughing, including Seohyun. San's pout went bigger and Seohyun poked him.
"Ayyy. I say that everyday, just not in words."
"OHHHH!" Everyone hooted and San actually smiled, trying to hide a blush but failing.
"How do you say it then?" Mingi asked, wiggling his brows, and Yunho made kissing sounds in the air, earning a smack from Wooyoung who was right beside him.
"Next time I encounter a dangerous ghost, I'm actually gonna befriend them," Seohyun said, smashing her now empty glass on the table as she glared at them, "I have a few ideas of how to make you all suffer."
Yunho snickered and Mingi immediately bowed, muttering praises about how Seohyun was the most kind girl he'd ever met. It was Seohyun's turn to smirk.
After they were done eating, everyone got up and they decided to go to the mall. It seemed like Hongjoong was bent on getting her good dresses, and he whispered to her that she should wear them on her dates, which actually made Seohyun flush for a good second.
"Hi," San said, holding her hand in his. He was walking with her now, both at the end while the others were ahead.
"Hey," Seohyun smiled, squeezing his hand subconsciously as she continued walking forward.
"Did you know purple is my favourite colour? I love this on you," San said, and Seohyun smiled.
"I did not. You'll have to thank my mom for this," Seohyun said, "She got me this for my birthday last year,"
"Oh, when's your birthday?"
"21st December."
"Right. So we have about two months. Is there something you want?"
"I wish my mom would be home actually," Seohyun said, "The last birthday I had with her was my 14th. I actually had fun then. Mom's friends had come, there's one that I'm close with. We had a banger then."
"That sounds fun," San smiled.
"It was," Seohyun smiled wistfully, "Now she's always busy during that time. So she just sends me a gift and a cake. And I spend my birthday alone."
San felt quite sad to hear that. "You won't be alone this year, I promise."
Seohyun looked at him. He had said that with such clarity that she believed him.
"I have a feeling that won't be the case," she suddenly said, and San almost stopped.
"What do you mean?"
"It's my gut. It's always right. I suppose it comes with the ghost thing. I just suddenly felt that wasn't going to be the case when you said that."
San put his arm around her, "You probably felt that because you've spent most of your birthdays alone. But now you have us, and there's always a chance your mom could come too. I can assure you, you won't be alone this year."
"Maybe," Seohyun let herself hope, pushing the feeling of dread back.
They reached the mall and Seohyun watched as Hongjoong and Wooyoung took the lead, discussing what would go well with her hair and skin colour, stuff that Seohyun didn't quite understand. She was too busy rejecting the ones Yunho, Mingi and Jongho were picking for her, making sure they got bright yellows and neon shades just to annoy her. They were having quite a laugh.
Seonghwa, Yeosang and San had disappeared to another shop it seemed. Wooyoung threw a top at her, ordering her to hold on herself so they could check.
"This has too many beads," Seohyun muttered.
"There are literally only 6 beads on it, stop being a child," Wooyoung said, snatching the top back from her and she pouted as they put it in the cart.
Hongjoong held another top, checking its size.
"Isn't that too short?" Seohyun asked.
"It's a crop top, Seohyun, of course it is short."
"That's basically the size of a bra! How am I supposed to wear it?!"
Hongjoong and Wooyoung tsk-ed at her. "It's not, it comes to your waist. Wear it with high waisted pants and a jacket if you can," Hongjoong threw it in the cart.
Seohyun threw her hands in the air as she looked back, the trio laughing at her misery. They were clearly enjoying. A thought struck Seohyun. She went to the three of them and asked if she should buy something for San.
"I guess he could use a new jacket," Yunho looked at Jongho and he nodded, "He's been using the same two jackets since forever."
"Help me pick," she said and dragged them to the men's section, and they picked a black denim jacket, putting it with her clothes so San wouldn't be suspicious.
After about 15 minutes, they were all done, and San, Yeosang and Seonghwa joined them as well.
"Where were you all?" Seohyun eyes them suspiciously.
"Just looking around," Seonghwa nodded, and San scratched his neck.
After they all got ice cream as refreshment, they decided to part ways, and Seohyun thanked Hongjoong and Wooyoung sincerely, saying she'd use them well.
"I'll get you both something too. Tell me what you want."
"You don't have to, just wear them, that'd be a gift," Wooyoung laughed.
"No, I can't! You guys put so much effort. I'll get you both something, just you wait," Seohyun promised.
San and her decided to walk back home, carrying the shopping bags with them.
"This is not how I had imagined our first date would go," San admitted.
"I had fun still," Seohyun smiled, "And anyway, the day is not over yet."
"It is! It's 7pm already!"
"Well, what do you say I take you on an adventure after we drop these at home?" Seohyun wiggled her eyebrows, saying, "Unless you have to go home."
"Well, no one's home today so..." San smiled, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Alright, I'll follow you."
Seohyun smiled, skipping as she walked, making San laugh out loud.
---------------
San and Seohyun reached home, dumping the several shopping bags in the living room. They decided to eat dinner and rest a bit, and Seohyun said she'd take him somewhere, but it had to be a surprise.
After they got fresh, they had ramyeon and Seohyun fished out a jacket from her wardrobe. It was gonna be chilly. She went to the living room, searching for San's jacket and went to San.
"Try this on," she said, and San got up from the sofa, trying the black jacket on. "Where we're going, it's gonna be a bit chilly."
"Wow, it fits perfectly," Seohyun stood back to check. "It's a gift."
"Really?" San looked down at the jacket. "Did you get this today?" Seohyun nodded. San smiled, thanking her with a hug.
They locked the house, grabbing only a bag with water bottle and chocolates. They took a taxi, a 30 minute drive to a hill. Seohyun told San she knew a shortcut to get to the top, and indeed, after a short hike, they reached the top.
"The view is amazing," San said, admiring how the full moon lit the night sky, the stars in the sky bright too. The city lights down seemed like stars too.
"A few months ago, a ghost teleported me here. He had died of an accident somewhere around here, and wanted help finding his sister, who had passed away with him. Jiwoo was with me, thankfully. It took us the whole day but we found her."
"Wow, I'm glad Jiwoo was with you," San said, and they both sat on the grass, facing the moon. "Imagine if you were alone and had to go back."
"Oh, I'm not sure if they even moved on. They said they wanted to spend some time together before they moved on, since they weren't sure what life ahead had for them. They might still be enjoying the ghost life."
"Really? Isn't that... dangerous?"
"They did promise. I said I'd come back after a year, and if they hadn't moved on by then, I'd personally exorcise them."
San laughed. "That's kind of you."
Seohyun winked at him. San was looking at the stars, and she took that time to admire his side-profile. He really was a work of art.
"Byeol," San said.
"What?"
"I'm naming our cat Byeol. Now that's an acceptable name, isn't it?"
Seohyun stared at him. "I mean, I was okay with Shiber too..."
"HEY!" San tackled her, tickling her everywhere and Seohyun laughed loudly, "Do you know how much time I spent thinking of a name for the cat!"
"Stop!" Seohyun laughed, and San stopped tickling to hear her out. "I love it. Byeol. Shiber. Whatever you wanna call her."
San shook his head at her. Seohyun realized he was still on top of her. San was staring at her, rather intensely.
San touched her hair. It was a habit of his now, playing with her hair. The grey in her hair was shining thanks to the moonlight. Her eyes shone just as brightly. Her mouth was slightly parted, and San ran his thumb across her lips.
"You're beautiful," he finally said.
Seohyun wanted to tell him that she was not, but she was too flustered to say anything. His broad shoulders blocked the moonlight, making his figure shine instead. He leaned in and kissed her softly, taking his dear time, making sure every peck was slow and good.
Seohyun's internal state was a mess at this time; her heart was beating too loudly, her stomach rolling too furiously, and her mind- oh it was an absolute mess. So she just let him kiss her senseless, her hands going through his hair and back to cup his face as they kissed.
San drew apart and Seohyun held onto his neck, making them sit, and San joined her forehead with his as they caught their breath. He rested her hands on her waist, and Seohyun gulped as she took his hands and put them on her waist under her shirt this time.
San inhaled sharply at the touch, looking at her for confirmation. He was always so patient with her, which she loved about him. Seohyun cupped his face and kissed him, more forcefully now. San followed along, his hands staying at her waist only, his thumb caressing her skin there. She kissed his neck, earning a satisfying moan from him.
"You're being naughty today," San whispered.
"You're being too good today," Seohyun retorted.
"Don't challenge me, Lee Seohyun," San warned, grinning.
"What you're gonna do, Choi San?"
San shook his head once, taking his hands away from her. Seohyun was going to protest but he took off his jacket and kissed Seohyun so hard that she found herself curving back and back until she was lying on the grass. He kissed her face, her neck, her collarbone, one hand on her waist, one roaming around, and Seohyun was a mess.
"What do you say? Do you regret this now?" San asked, smirking.
"Can't say I regret it," Seohyun answered, out of breath.
San laughed, kissing her one last time before lying down with her, holding her close.
Seohyun smiled. "This reminds me of the time when we first kissed," she said, "You were so sleepy."
"I was wide awake internally," San said, making her laugh a little. Seohyun traced his face with her fingers.
"I love you, San."
San's eyes went a little wide in surprise. Seohyun continued, "I know I haven't said it before. I don't know what I waited for. I'm sorry."
"Don't be," San brought her closer as if hugging her, "You didn't have to. I see it everyday."
Seohyun smiled, "Still. I have to say it out loud. I love you. I love you so much that it hurts. If I knew love would make me feel pain like this, this weird satisfying sort of pain in the heart, this ache, I would've run away. But I still love you."
"I feel the same," San said, sighing, "I feel scared for you, I'm afraid that you'll get hurt. You do such a dangerous job. I hope I could have been more help. I love you so much that I wish I'd have to do all this instead of you."
"You don't have to," Seohyun said, "This is enough. You, like this, is more than enough."
San couldn't help it; he kissed her again, and it felt like he could cry.
After a few moments, they finally got up. San wore his jacket, and said, "Oh, I almost forgot."
He took out a box from his pocket and handed it to Seohyun. Seohyun opened it to see a locket with a silver star, a single diamante shining in the middle of it.
"It's beautiful," Seohyun smiled, "Is that what you shopped for today?"
"Yep. Come here," San took the necklace from her and helped her wear it.
"Thank you. I'm never gonna take it off," Seohyun said and San laughed.
"Are you saying I should never take this jacket off too?"
"Well," Seohyun shrugged, "If you can manage."
They were laughing when Seohyun's smile suddenly fell from her face.
"There's someone behind me San," she whispered, not taking her eyes off him. "Don't look."
San almost looked away on impulse but Seohyun took his hand, grabbing his attention. "I said don't look. Smile like you were before, quick. Laugh."
San laughed awkwardly, making sure he was smiling. "Look from the corner of your eyes, can you see something?"
San did, and whispered, "I think I see something moving to your left, but it's a bit far I think."
"It's not good," Seohyun whispered, and San understood. "We're gonna have to make a run for it. On the count of three?"
San nodded, squeezing her hand.
"One. Two. Three."
San took her hand and made a dash, realizing that they couldn't go to the trail they'd come for since it was in the opposite direction. Seohyun took the lead, dragging San with her, trying to remember the other way. She looked back once and saw a sickly old woman almost caught up now. A little scream left her and they both ran, Seohyun stopping to grab a rock and aim at the woman. It narrowly missed her but distracted her long enough that they gained speed.
"Where's the other trail?" San shouted and Seohyun went through path after path, not bothering to reply. They were probably lost now.
Seohyun was about to give up and face the woman when a pair of hands grabbed her and she felt herself teleporting a few feet away from where they were, gaining more distance. She heard San gasp and looked to make sure he was okay, but hands grabbed her and she was running again.
"You!" Seohyun exclaimed. The boy and the girl- the brother and sister that had died here. She could not believe it.
"There's a cave here, we're teleporting again, grab on tight!"
Seohyun squeezed San's hand and shut her eyes. One moment she was running and the other she had jumped through time and space and was in the said cave.
"You call this a cave?" Seohyun asked. The boy ignored her, peeking out of the 'cave' as he covered the entrance with more tree branches.
San still held her hand, out of breath, taking out the bottles from Seohyun's bag and handing one to her while he drank some too.
"She lost us," The boy looked back and smiled proudly, high fiving his sister.
The boy must have been 16- he was a tall, lean kid. His short hair were spiky and his eyes were the same as his sister's- who must have been a year older. She looked at Seohyun and said, "Didn't expect to meet you like this, Seohyun."
Seohyun wiped her mouth. "Hi, Gayoung." She looked at the boy then, "Thanks, Youngjae."
"We owed you one," he said, motioning them to sit and take a breather. "We've been living here, so we kind of knew about the woman. She's an old soul, that one. I don't think you can do anything about her, best if you avoid her."
"Well, she should avoid me! Next time I'm gonna kill her-"
"I see you haven't changed," Gayoung grinned. "Who's that with you? And why is he not freaking out?"
"He's my boyfriend," Seohyun said, and Gayoung and Youngjae ooh-ed. "He knows. There was some accident, so he can see ghosts now too. Can't touch them."
"Interesting," Youngjae scanned San. "I didn't know we could teleport others too."
"Only because I was holding him. I guess because it was the two of you, it didn't require me to properly hold him. Remember Jiwoo? She tried it once. Took me to the ghost realm accidentally, with him!"
"With him!" Gayoung gasped, "Is that why he can...?"
"Yes!" Seohyun answered, "I almost died making that trip."
San elbowed Seohyun. "You call that dying?"
"Shut up. So you live here still?"
"Yes, we'll actually move on before the year completes," Youngjae said, "We're just waiting for our parent's wedding anniversary. We used to celebrate it, so we just wanna see them happy before we move on."
"Ah, that's good."
"Where's Jiwoo anyway?" Gayoung asked.
"She moved on," Seohyun sighed.
"So she finally remembered? Good for her!" Youngjae said and they nodded.
After catching up a few minutes, they decided it was safe to go back. Seohyun thanked them earnestly, saying she owed them one more now because this was too big a favour. They just dismissed it, telling her to stay safe. They guided them to another shortcut and soon the two of them were on the way home.
They stopped by at Seohyun's first, and San went inside with her for a moment, hugging her, telling her she was so brave for keeping her calm in that situation, telling her he was proud. With a kiss to her forehead, he left for home.
Seohyun washed up and fell on her bed, beyond exhausted. She recalled the day in her mind; it was a day well spent, if you ignored the last part. She smiled as she played the moments in her head; San was such a sweetheart today. She was playing with her necklace as she fell asleep.
----------------
The few days that followed their rather adventurous first date were as normal as they could get, keeping in mind the fact that it was Seohyun's life in question. She had a tremendous amount of school work to catch up to, and several ghosts to help move on.
Having friends actually helped, Seohyun realized one day as she was doing her homework. She was an average student; she'd do great if she tried, and if she didn't... well. So they'd help her with the subjects they were good at, they'd be her personal motivators, and she'd try to return the favours as well as she could.
She'd been thinking about how she could return the long due favour to Hongjoong and Wooyoung. They'd help her update her wardrobe, and the feedbacks she'd gotten were amazing. She supposed San was a softie and would compliment her even if she was in her worst hoodie, but when critics like Yeosang complimented her, she'd feel glad. She didn't really care about how she looked, but it felt good to dress up once in a while. Special occasions only.
Seohyun sighed as she shut her notebook close and got up, stretching. She found herself going to the music room. There were no drums anymore to relieve her of her stress, but she supposed she could do with something else. The violin reminded her of San as she picked it up, and she kind of missed him, so she put that down. She went to the piano, and inhaled. She'd be playing it for the first time now, after Joon Hyuk.
She tested the keys; it sounded out of tune. But she let her fingers naturally roll over them, found herself playing a familiar tune, the one Joon Hyuk had taught her. She smiled as she played. It had truly been a while.
After she was done, she nodded as she figured out what she'd get Hongjoong and Wooyoung. Something they really needed.
-----------
"You're the best!" Wooyoung tackled Seohyun in a tight hug, making Seohyun yell as she tried to push him away.
"How did you come up with this idea?" Hongjoong asked as he admired the speakers in front of him.
"I noticed you could use speakers here without disturbing anyone. And with how loud you all are, you definitely needed it."
Seonghwa connected the speakers to his phone, blasting full volume as he checked them, his mouth turning into an O as he nodded in admiration. "They must have cost you quite a bit?"
"Oh, it's okay. Let's forget about that part," Seohyun waved him off, and Yunho ruffled her hair.
Mingi passed her a juice box and she sipped on it, checking the time. "I have to go now. Mom's coming home tonight."
"Do you want me to walk you home?" San asked.
"Oh, don't bother, enjoy these speakers," Seohyun said, giving him a fist bump as she left. She hummed along as she walked, but she had only taken one turn when she thought she saw something out of the corner of her eye.
Another ghost? She had just dealt with one right after school, before joining the boys in the warehouse.
Something flashed right behind her and she whipped to her left, stumbling. She checked left and right but it seemed the ghost had disappeared. But something about its rotting scent was familiar-
Seohyun's breath left her as she was pushed, and she turned just in time so she'd hit the wall with the side of her body instead of face first. She winced in pain, pushing the hair out of her eyes. There was no one there.
But she didn't have to check who it was. The scent had been enough for her.
Seohyun contemplated running home or back to the warehouse. Ghosts couldn't enter property without the owner or mediator's permission, and since the warehouse was the closest, she decided she'd make a run for it.
She smelt it as she run, dodging one attack but getting scratched on the back near her shoulder with something sharp- she assumed it was nails. Seohyun ran faster; glad for all the running she'd done as a kid, wishing a good soul would appear and help her. But it was only her- a useless mediator with the power to only see and touch the ghosts, against a vengeful spirit.
Seohyun turned and she was in front of the warehouse. She could hear the music blast and she ran even faster if she could, until she came within what she assumed was the boundary of the property. She turned and indeed, she saw the woman, this time in the clear of the day. She wasn't sure if she could even call it a woman at this point; it was a tangle of overgrown hair, pale skin and dark eyes with purple lips. And long, long nails.
Seohyun shook her head as it disappeared and she stood in the middle of the road, contemplating once again if she should go home and risk encountering them again, or going to the warehouse, and encountering THEM.
She threw her hands in the air in frustration and went inside the warehouse.
"Oh, she's back-" Jongho paused mid-sentence as he saw the disheveled figure of Seohyun, with a bruise on her cheekbone.
Seohyun walked to them, looking at San whose eyes were wide. "It's her," she said, "the one from that hill."
San came to her, inspecting her face; the bruise was light, thankfully. "Are you hurt somewhere else?"
"On my back, I think," Seohyun turned her neck to see and indeed, her shirt was torn where those nails had scratched her. San took her to the sofa and Seonghwa brought a first aid kit, Seohyun eyeing it warily. "I should ask why you have a first aid kit."
"For a day like this, I suppose," Hongjoong said, handing her a glass of water. Seohyun looked at him once as she drank.
"How did she find you?" San asked, taking her hand and caressing it.
"It took her a while to find me, it's been more than two weeks."
"What happened?" Hongjoong asked and Seohyun explained, everyone sitting around her to hear her story.
"Why do ghosts start to look like that?" Yeosang asked.
"I don't exactly know, but time does that to them, I think."
"Don't they look scary?" Wooyoung asked.
"They look scary, but I think the fact that they were human once makes it less scarier to me?" Seohyun shrugged. She grabbed the ointment, applying it to the wound on her face. Then she looked at Seonghwa. "Is the wound on my back bad?"
Seonghwa peeked at what he could see from the torn part of her shirt, there were long cuts. "I think you should get them treated."
"Can you do something about it right now? I'll get them treated later," Seohyun said, biting her lip. Seonghwa nodded. He inspected her state, then said in a low voice, "You'll have to take off your shirt."
Seohyun groaned. At times like this, she really did miss Jiwoo.
"Or we can cut your shirt, since it's already torn," Seonghwa suggested, looking at her with a sad look in his eyes.
"I'll take it off," Seohyun said, "Let's not be awkward about this, okay? Which one of you is the best at first aid?"
"Seonghwa definitely," Mingi said.
"Should I do it?" San asked.
"You're the worst at it," Wooyoung muttered, making Seohyun scoff.
"It's just when it's someone I'm close to! I can't bear it!"
The two of them started to argue, and Seohyun decided to stop them. "I'd like you all to disappear to a corner while Seonghwa does his job. Give me some privacy. And San, you can stay if you want to."
The rest of the boys rushed away, and Seohyun bit her lip. "Not how you thought you'd see me without a shirt for the first time, eh San?"
Seonghwa went into a fit of coughs while San gaped at her statement, finally giving in after a few seconds and laughing, shaking his head. "You really pick the worst time for jokes."
"Alright, here goes," Seohyun turned her back to them and took off her shirt, San helping her hold her hair. She was left in a black bra. She wasn't flustered; not when the exposed wound left her skin stinging, and she sucked in her breath.
San helped her sit on the floor and she brought her arms to her chest, her hair covering the rest of her as Seonghwa carefully applied ointment on the three parallel scratches that ran from her shoulder all the way to the the middle of her back.
"She got you bad, Seohyun," San said worriedly, "what if she comes here?"
"She can't," Seohyun answered, "Can't enter property without owner or my permission."
"That's useful," Seonghwa muttered.
"That's actually handy, Seonghwa," Seohyun had noticed the sarcasm in his voice; she supposed he was angry at the whole situation. "I'm glad I was near when it happened." She rested her head on her knees, San watching Seonghwa apply bandages now, so careful with it. He was definitely being extra careful.
San went to get an extra shirt they had around for Seohyun, and Seonghwa finished up. Seohyun peeked at the bandages, impressed.
"Thanks, Seonghwa."
"Don't mention it," Seonghwa put the stuff back in the kit, "I wish you'd be more careful in the future."
"I can't help it, Seonghwa, believe me, I'm the most careful now," Seohyun said and Seonghwa locked his eyes with her.
"I just don't want to see you hurt, Seohyun-ah. It pains me."
"I know," Seohyun sighed, "I understand."
Seonghwa hesitated then patted her head. "I'm sure you did well back then," he smiled warmly.
"Finally. Thanks again," Seohyun laughed, and San was back. Seohyun took the shirt from him and wore it, standing up. "I'll take a taxi now."
"You sure you don't want me to come with you?" San asked.
"Oh no, it's okay now. She can't follow me in a taxi."
"Okay, at least let me walk you out."
Seohyun said thanks and bye to them all, and they told her to be careful. San and her walked out of the warehouse, and San grabbed her hand, bringing her in for a hug. Seohyun hugged him back, her arms on his back, smiling.
"Were you scared back then?" San asked.
"A little," Seohyun admitted, "Just glad I was near."
San broke the hug, putting her hair behind her ears, touching her cheek below the bruise. "Does it hurt?"
"This? Nope. The one in the back, yes, a little."
"Do get proper treatment," San said, looking at her worriedly.
"I will," Seohyun laughed, "Don't worry too much?"
"How can I not?" San shook his head, leaning forward to kiss her. "Your taxi's here."
------------
Seohyun reached home, cleaning the mess around the house, until she heard the sound of the door opening. Her mother was home.
Seohyun said hello and smiled at her. She looked nothing like her mom; she was tall, had pointy features and narrow eyes, and she looked sharp and intelligent. Her dark hair reached her shoulders. She put her handbag on the table and came to gave her a hug.
"How have you been?"
"Just the usual," Seohyun said, "What about you?"
"Ugh, I've been so busy," she said, collapsing on the sofa. "What do we have for dinner?"
"I'll set the table," Seohyun said. She had prepared her favourite dishes with the help of their previous housemaid, who she was still on good terms with. The old woman would drop by every once in a while, and she'd exchange her kimchi and some traditional dishes for Seohyun's pastas and desserts that she loved.
The mother and daughter caught up on studies and work as they ate. She told Seohyun she would have a busy time in the following month, but she'd try to come for her birthday, or else it was gonna be Christmas.
"How's the ghost business?" Her mother asked, drinking water.
"Was going well, until today I encountered an evil one," Seohyun said, "You'd have to help me with a wound I got on my back."
Her mother stared at her. "Are you alright?"
"Oh I am," Seohyun nodded, "I'll deal with her, I was just caught off-guard. She got me for a second."
"I hope you do," her mother said, "Tell me if you need help."
Seohyun smirked at her, "Wrong thing to say."
Her mother laughed, "Yeah, you probably know way more people than I do. Come on, let me have a look."
Seohyun showed her, and her mother winced. She helped change her bandages and gave her a doctor's information so she could visit and get treated, make up a story about how it was a stray dog or something. Seohyun thanked her, and after chatting a while, she left her to sleep.
"When will you return to work?" Seohyun asked.
"Tomorrow evening. I'll see you off for school in the morning. We'll see each other next month then."
"Oh, okay. Goodnight," Seohyun said, coming to her room and lying on her bed, staring at the ceiling. She wished she had stayed longer. But it was okay.
This was enough.
-----------------
A week had passed without further incidents. Seohyun was careful; she'd take taxi if she could, or she'd keep the sibling duo with her. She called them in, saying she'd owe them one if they could teleport her when needed. So the duo happily stick with her, saying they were bored of living in the hills and would like to visit a school too.
The boys had become friendly with the duo; they'd either communicate through San (who had given up now; he was quite tired of being their voice) or through the old-fashioned way: notebooks. They'd pretend to be studying in class when in fact they'd be having a conversation with the ghosts.
"I have a question," Yeosang said to Seohyun in the middle of class. Seohyun, who had been staring at Mingi and Gayoung conversing, looked at Yeosang.
"How would you get rid of old ghosts like the one you encountered?"
"Good question," Seohyun said, "There are a few options. I could try to talk sense into them. If that doesn't work, I get help from the good ghosts and threaten them. Like, every ghost had some sort of faith, right? Usually works if you use their god against them."
"But what if they have no faith anymore?"
"Goodnight, then, I guess," Seohyun said and Yeosang gasped. "You take help from actual exorcists then too. I once did. Got quite rough, but it works."
"Sounds dangerous," he muttered.
"Kind of," Seohyun agreed.
Seohyun was walking home after school with her new ghost friends when she sensed something amiss. "Just when I thought it was over."
Gayoung and Youngjae covered her back and front defensively. The woman appeared out of nowhere, stopping when she saw the ghosts.
"Well, well," she said, and Seohyun winced. Her voice sounded creepy. "What do we have here?"
"What do you want?" Seohyun asked.
"Death of you," the woman laughed, "Don't try to talk me out of it. You can't."
"What good is that gonna do to you?" Seohyun asked, genuinely curious.
The woman laughed again, this time sarcastically. "Don't tell me you didn't know? When a mediator dies, there is a short time period during which there is no other mediator in the world. That's when ghosts can do whatever they want; trespass, interact with humans, and much more."
"How is that true? I mean, if it were really true, more people would be trying to kill me, won't they?"
"Oh dear," the woman smiled this time, all knowingly, which sent chills throughout her body, "That's why it's a secret, isn't it?"
Gayoung and Youngjae shared looks. If it was true, they could interact with their parents, which was all they wanted. But they wouldn't harm Seohyun for that. Not after all she had done for them.
"I'll be back, girl," the woman's voice was sure, "When you least expect it. And I'll make sure I hear you screaming before you die."
The three of them watched as she gave her a long final look before she disappeared. They were quite for a few seconds and Seohyun caught her breath. "Don't tell me you both want to kill me now too."
"Oh, we wouldn't," Gayoung said, "We really wouldn't."
"You sound very assuring, noona," Youngjae said sarcastically, earning a tsk as he looked at Seohyun. "Let's get you home. We'll look for someone else who can get rid of that old bitch."
Seohyun nodded and they walked home, the duo arguing while Seohyun just walked blankly. She couldn't get the look the ghost had given out of her head. She sounded so sure. As if she had something already planned for her.
Seohyun sat in front of the TV for hours, her mind blank. All she could think was how her gut had felt when she'd said that. As if that was something that was bound to happen. Was she really gonna die?
Seohyun had never been too afraid of dying; not like an average person. For her, it was a life full of danger. She had welcomed and played with aspect of death. But her life had changed drastically over the past months. She had found people to live for. And that meant she was more scared this time.
Her phone buzzed and she read the text. It was from San asking if she wanted him to come over. Seohyun bit her lips in thought. Then she texted 'come over with chocolate ice cream please'.
And San did so. They sat on the sofa, watching TV and eating ice cream as they talked about this and that. Seohyun somehow found it very easy to talk to him, and so did San. He told her all about how he used to live in the countryside when he was little (hence the slight accent), he had mostly grown up with his grandparents because his parents were busy people.
"Don't you miss your parents when they're away?" Seohyun asked. Her ice cream was finished.
"I do, of course. Don't you?"
"I miss my mom sometimes," Seohyun admitted. "She's not as bad as you all think."
San gave her a pointed look and she threw a pillow at him, which he caught. "Come on, you have to admit. She talks to me. She let's me do normal stuff. She doesn't think I'm crazy. And she remembers my birthday every year. That's more than I can ask for."
"Don't you wish she did more?"
"I used to, but then I just accepted it. It's just the way it is."
San looked at her and spread his arms for her. She just threw another pillow at him, rolling her eyes. "I'm serious."
"Okay, okay. What about the ghost?"
"Well," Seohyun sighed and told him what had happened. San listened intently.
"Is there something we can do about it?" he asked.
"I'll go to that exorcist I know, but San," Seohyun turned to face him, "Something's different this time. I can't shake the feeling that something bad is gonna happen."
"It's probably just you overthinking?"
"No, it's different this time," Seohyun sounded sure, and San was actually surprised, "Something is gonna happen and it's gonna be bad. God, I want to cry."
San watched as she put her head in her hands, sighing. She heard San scoot over and she scooted away. "If you hug me now, I'm afraid I'll really cry."
"It's okay to cry, Seohyun, come here," San grabbed her arm and brought her in for a hug, and Seohyun let herself cry. It had been so long since she'd last cry.
"I'm sorry," Seohyun said, sniffing, "I miss Jiwoo a lot, if she was here, she would have handled this so well. I can't help but feel scared for you."
"Do you think something's gonna happen to me?" San asked as he patted her head.
"No. I don't know. I don't know and it's making me so frustrated," Seohyun said and cried harder. San only patted her back, muttering comforting words.
Seohyun drew back and wiped her face. "Sorry for crying on you."
"Anytime," San laughed. "I can understand that you're scared Seohyun, tell me what I can do for you."
"Just- stay with me. That's enough."
San nodded, taking her hand. "Do you want me to play something for you?"
Seohyun raised her brow, "Can you?"
"I can play the piano a little bit, unless you want me to play the violin and scare the dead away."
Seohyun laughed, "Let's go."
They went to the room, and San showed her what he'd learnt from Hongjoong of the piano. Seohyun appreciated the gesture, and on his insistence, she played the violin for him again, and he watched her adoringly.
When she was done, she put the violin down. "I came here a few days ago. I wanted to play the violin but I couldn't because it reminded me of you and I missed you. I played today. It seems like now I only play for you."
Seohyun was packing the violin when San hugged her from the back, his arms around her waist as he rocked them back and forth. Seohyun smiled. He was such a romantic.
"I like that," he whispered in her ear, making her laugh because it tickled. He nibbled on her ear, making her laugh.
"It's like the music room does something to you, San, you become such a romantic."
"I can assure you I'm the same anywhere else too," he said, still hugging her.
Seohyun looked at the clock. It was already 10 pm and they had no school tomorrow. She broke the hug and looked at him, his hands on her waist now.
"I know it's too much to ask, San, and I need you to give an honest answer, okay? I won't mind. But, can you... stay here tonight?" Seohyun almost whispered, tears welling up in her eyes again. "I'm just- I can't be alone tonight. I feel it. Something's gonna happen."
San touched her face, nodding. "Of course. If you want me to. I'll leave early in the morning."
Seohyun sighed in relief, a tear escaping her eye, "Thank you, San. Thank you."
San wiped the tear from her face. He felt scared about how she was feeling too. It was so unusual. Seohyun was always so strong, and she felt so... human. He couldn't leave her like this. He bent down and kissed her lips slowly, her arms going around his neck and her hands in his hair, clearly glad for the distraction.
She broke apart and took his hand, taking him to her bedroom, only the dim lamp on. She pushed him on the bed, surprising him, as she shut the door and kicked off her shoes, climbing on the bed and sitting on his lap. His arms were holding him from lying down and Seohyun went to cup his face and kiss him, so deeply as if she was saying her thanks through this. San's stomach turned, his heart beating wildly and he took the chance, taking one arm to grab her, but fell flat on the bed.
Seohyun was now on top of him. She stared at him for the longest time, and it made San feel so many different things. He saw the necklace he had given her dangling off her neck, and his hand went to touch it as a smile made its way on his face.
Seohyun smiled too then gave him soft pecks on his lips, both of them smiling through it. She was taking her sweet time and San had enough. He flipped her down, now on top of her, making her gasp in surprise as he smirked. But his smirked wiped off as she leaned forward and took his shirt off, running her hands through his toned body.
"Damn, San, I didn't know you worked out," Seohyun smirked.
San only smiled as he kissed her, loving the feeling of her hands all over him. His hands went to her waist and she broke apart for a second, motioning him to unbutton her shirt. San looked at her to make sure it was okay and she nodded, rolling her eyes but smiling.
"Is your wound okay now?" San asked as he unbuttoned her shirt.
"Probably left a scar," Seohyun muttered and he made her sit so he could check.
She was right. 3 parallel scratches had left their scar. It would take time to fade. "You reminded me of that ghost again, San. Distract me."
San kissed her bare shoulder, making her gasp, and kissed and nibbled on her neck, playing with her necklace. Seohyun moaned and felt San smile. She slapped his shoulder, making him laugh. "You asked for it," he said.
"I'm gonna make you moan so loud, Choi San-"
"Sshh," he said, kissing her passionately. Seohyun took that chance to bite on his lower lip while her hands gripped his waist now, and that earned her a moan. It was her turn to smile. San kissed her some more, before lying down with her, pulling the covers over them.
"It's late," he said, bringing her closer, "Sleep now."
"I don't wanna..." Seohyun said, putting her arm around him and kissed his neck, earning a sigh.
"I'm not gonna be able to stop if you keep doing that," San sighed. Seohyun melted at his words.
"Glad to know that," she whispered, but just hugged him, kissing his shoulder innocently now.
"I love you, San. You know that, right?"
"I know," he whispered back.
"I should tell you that everyday. Hell, I should have told you that everyday. I'm sorry."
"Seohyun," San made her face him, "You don't have to. I know that. You don't even have to say it out loud."
"Still," Seohyun said, "I should have told you that everyday."
San stared at her. He kissed her forehead and hugged her. "I love you too. And you know that right? I say it everyday, goofily, jokingly, or sometimes serious. But you still know it, even when I say it as a joke. That's because you know, just like I do."
Seohyun nodded. She buried her face in his chest, going under the covers, his arms securely around him.
"Goodnight, love." San whispered.

CAPITAL LETTERS: Christmas Special
BONUS TRACK: CHANGE YOUR MIND
Member: Juyeon
Genre: CHRISTMAS FLUFF AND A TINY BIT OF SMUT
Word Count: 2.3k words
A/N: Merry Christmas to all my readers out there! I hope you’re safe, warm and happy wherever you are! I considered writing a full-on smut for this special but decided not to, in the spirit of wholesome giving. I hope this will serve as a little token of appreciation for your patience in reading my work. <3
My love,
You’ve been away far too long now, I’m starting to feel like I’m forgetting your scent. How is it like over there? Is the weather kind to you? Are you eating well? I hope you miss me as much as I miss you.
Love, Juyeon
Your lids droop halfway down your eyeballs, chucking away the handwritten letter into your purse and looking behind your shoulder.
“You are extremely dramatic for someone who’s been sitting right outside my office,” He pulls the door open and pops his head in. His hair is a new mixture of black with highlights the colour of clouds and it couldn’t have made him look better.
Your jaw drops open in pleasant surprise, eyes trying to process the sight before you. But then he walks in, and he’s very obviously hiding something behind his back. A squint forms on your lids and that playful tongue of his darts out to swipe across his lower lip, just moments before he lunges forward and pecks you on your lips.
He doesn’t want you to hug him because he knows you’ll find some way to climb onto him and figure out what he’s hiding behind his back.
“What, no time to rest?” Folding your arms, you raise a brow when he coyly walks backward into your sofa, careful not to crush whatever he was holding behind his back. “First, you come into my office looking like that then now you’re hiding, what, keys to your helicopter behind your back?”
“What’s wrong with looking like ‘that’?” Mischief creeps along his lips in the form of a smirk, cuing you to provide him with an exaggerated scoff.
“You know what I mean.”
You can feel him watch you as you walk around to the back of your table, packing all your Christmas gifts from your colleagues into the shelves or drawers.
“Well, aren’t you going to try and figure out what I got for you?”
“I’ll just wait until you can’t take it anymore. It’s not like you can hide that behind your back all the way till we get home, you need to drive.”
“Ugh,” Groaning in mild frustration, the friction of fabric against sofa tells that Juyeon removed himself from the furniture, the gentle footsteps into the marble floor getting closer to you. His presence is strong behind you, then both his hands travel around the side of your waist, under your arms, and presents you a Christmas bouquet of white and red roses with a gold wrap.
You don’t bother to take the bouquet, but instead, you whip around and wrap your arms around his torso, resting your head in his chest. Juyeon chuckles, sinking his nose and lips into the crown of your head. You can feel him trying to tighten his hold around you despite the bouquet still being in one of his hands.
“Thank you,” He releases you as you take the bouquet from him, his hands dropping to your waist. “Now I feel bad for making you wait outside my office.”
“You did warn me,” The bouquet looks large when it’s in your hands, but all you do is stare and gleam at the flowers like it was gold. “Besides, watching you work is kinda hot.”
“Says you,” Looking up, Juyeon smiles not with his lips, but with his eyes as he leans forward. Providing you with a long, hard, kiss, Juyeon removes the bouquet from your hands, placing it on the desk behind him. Closing the gap between your bodies, he pulls you forward as he shifts back to lean against your desk, your thighs between his knees as your arms travel up his chest and around his neck.
The pilot tastes like mint chocolate, of which you can assume was due to his habit of brushing his teeth after he ate.
“Yo, have you looked at the production details for the-- oh my God! What the--”
Juyeon almost refuses to release you when he can recognise Sunwoo’s voice, though you’ve already panicked and broken the kiss.
“Oh-- Jesus-- Didn’t I tell you to knock before you come in?” Sunwoo watches you try to pull yourself away from Juyeon, but he intertwines his fingers behind your back. His head is turned around and looking at Sunwoo with the widest grin on his face.
“Since when the Hell did you tell me to knock?” Sunwoo raises his hand in a bid to greet Juyeon, who nods in acknowledgement.
“Oh, yeah, sure,” Juyeon receives a gentle thwack on his chest. "Blame me."
"He's got a point, it's your office."
"Whose side are you on?"
"Ugh, I'll leave the production file here," Sunwoo tosses the glossy item onto the sofa Juyeon was previously sitting on. "Remind me never to touch your desk, like, ever."
"Bye, Sunwoo!" Juyeon calls out, pulling you closer and pasting his torso to your body.
"Yeah, yeah, knock yourself out," Sunwoo's voice trails off as he walks out, shutting the door behind him. Your attention returns to Juyeon, eyes forming a squint again as you arch your back and look down at those playful eyes; eyes that looked like they belong to a five-year-old.
"Tsk! You--" Juyeon suddenly stands up and crashes his lips into yours again, your neck tilting upwards but resting in his palms as he cups your cheek. You can smell the breathy mint despite already tasting it, and the cologne that was wafting off his white button up top was gradually intoxicating your thoughts. The same way he was able to win you over with a gap of one year in between.
Every muscle in his arms shifts under your fingers, the way he's kissing you feels like swimming in a pile of cotton and clouds and snow.
He offers a soft moan before pulling away, brushing his thumb across your lower lip to clean off the smudged lip tint. "Ah," He touches his own lips. "Now everybody in your office will know we kissed."
This time, you roll your eyes and let him kiss you on the forehead.
Juyeon closes the car door for you, leaving you to admire the flowers in the bouquet as he walks around the vehicle. The car smells like him, and when he gets into the car, all you want to do is to jump on him and litter kisses all over his face and hug him and watch Christmas movies and--
"Again with your staring," The smirk he has on his face makes you want to barf because he's teasing with you, flirting, as if the two of you aren't already together. "Do I get to bring you to your next present or do you need more time staring at me?”
"Everything you're saying now is only making me think of when we first met."
"How do you know I'm not doing it on purpose?"
The morning after you finally saw him again after one year.
Maybe it was the Christmas spirit that was getting to him, but you can't help but to look at him with the most done eyes you've ever given someone.
"Alright, alright. I won't be such a prick now. We'll go, okay?"
"And where are we going?"
It takes you awhile to realise Juyeon was driving out of the city, away from the lights and further into the country side where snow collects in mounts and nobody would bother those white pillows. You would protest and ask him if he was trying to kidnap you, but all you can see is the way the snow sparkles under the street lights, the distant stars of Mars and Jupiter in the sky like a white dot in the navy canvas.
The road ends and the vehicle comes to a stop. Juyeon gives you a secretive smile as he reaches behind and picks up a large bag, exiting the car while waiting for you to follow suit. The puffs that escape through your every exhale form tiny clouds as Juyeon holds your hand and walks down a slippery path. The both of you are tucked in thick coats and scarves and gloves but just having him with you feel so warm in itself.
If you thought Juyeon bringing you on a helicopter ride was romantic, you thought wrong.
The path among the trees open up into a huge space of white and blue, with the moon in the sky brimming its silver light down.
Right before you was a frozen water body, a frozen lake. The low lighting is slightly difficult to adjust to, so by the time you've turned to Juyeon in pleasant surprise, he's gotten two pairs of skates out from the bag he took from the car.
Juyeon pulls you to your feet after he helps you buckle your skates, and the ice below the blades pulls you nearer to him due to your lack of balance. His laughter sounds like a song by your ears, feeling his arms hold you up to your feet and his hands are on your waist to hold you still.
Then, you are drifting across the cold space in his arms as he plasters himself to you, despite the many layers of clothing between your chests. Your head is in his shoulder, gently inhaling his scent off his coat though the snow should’ve melted it away.
“You good?”
A mellow hum thrums through your throat as a smile stretches itself across your lips. You look up at him, straight into those eyes of his that looked nothing short of your world. “Why wouldn’t I be?”
He pulls your beanie down over your ears, one hand still on your waist and yours around his torso. “I don’t know, you’re quiet.”
“I’m enjoying the moment,” Nestling your head back into his chest, it feels like heaven and pillows and clouds and marshmallows until he tells you it’s time to go.
By the time you’re in the car, you’ve lost count of the number of times Juyeon has lost his words in your mouth. After dumping the skates into the boot, he pulled you into the backseat, for a few minutes battling the awkward fart-sounding noises of the leather before he has you straddling his lap.
He’s looking up at you like you were a God, and it forces chills down your spine as you tilt your head to give him exactly what he wanted.
“Ju--” A kiss.
“Hmm?” Another kiss.
“We’re not staying here all night--” One more. “Are we?”
He pulls away, eyes hooded when he turns his attention to your neck. “Of course not, I have more presents for you at home.”
“What? What else did you get me?” Finding his cheeks in your palm, you pull him back to face you. But all he does is nuzzle your skin with his nose, pressing kisses into the heart of your palm with his shadowed eyes watching you.
“You’ll find out when we get home,” Your waist feels warm just as he circles your waist with his arms. “I’d stay like this with for longer if I could, pity a day only has 24 hours. That’s too little time.”
Ugh, what a sweet talker.
“Okay, well... I don’t want to wait until the sunrises before I can drink hot chocolate and watch Christmas movies with you so maybe we should go.”
Juyeon provides you the tiniest pout, before he relents and quickly pecks you on the cheeks.
You couldn't decide what it was that decided you deserved a life like this. There must've been something you had done in your past life to be snuggled up against Juyeon's chest, both of you in matching pajamas and two mugs of hot chocolate with marshmallows bobbing up and down inside on the table by your feet.
The blanket was covering most of you, only up to his chest while his arms are wrapped around you. The light from the television is reflecting off his face and his eyes, the amber lighting of his living room making it all the more comfortable and cozy for you. The snow outside was billowing and yet you feel so far away from danger.
He smells like lemon from his body wash and his fingers that were interlocked with yours feel warm against your skin.
Juyeon's attention was unrivalled when he doesn't notice how long you've spent staring at his side profile. He was mindlessly fiddling with your fingers under the blanket and stroking the length of your calf that was over his thighs. The movie was some stupid rom-com he said he wanted to watch, and you let him, only because he watched horror movies with you whenever you wanted.
Resting your chin on his shoulder, the physical contact finally gains his notice.
"Why? Are you sleepy? Shall we call it a day?" He picks up the remote and pauses the movie, turning to his side to face you.
"I am, but we don't have to sleep now. It's not midnight yet."
Juyeon's little smile in the corner of his lips melt your thoughts through and through, his slightly damp white highlights against his lashes. His hand travels up to rub your ears, tips slightly cool.
"Who said we need to wait till midnight?" His arm comes round your waist under the blanket and pulls you into his chest, forcing you into more or less a cradled position.b
"I don't know, wouldn't it be nice to stay away till Christmas and then I get to kiss you the first second of our first Christmas together?" Goosebumps erupt all over your skin as you cringe over what you've just said, but Juyeon likes that kind of nonsense and he laughs into your lips when he plants a kiss to them.
"There's no need to wait for Christmas, princess," Cupping your cheek in his palm, he pulls away just slightly to finish the rest of his sentence. "You can kiss me anytime you want."
“Wait,” You pull away, thumb brushing across his lower lip as his breath hits yours. He playfully raises a brow, already not in favour of the gap between your faces. “What’s my present?”
He pauses, then reads your eyes. He knows you already know what the present is.
“Me, for the rest of your life and mine.”

" Do you even see anything in here?" Jin asked as the two of you walked down into the cave.
It's been a few days since Sapphire and him moved into your home and he's mostly been outside of the cave-part of your home with Sapphire. Now that he's seen rabbits go out alive and go back alive too, he's become curious about what it feels like being down there. The two of you were currently walking down the cave's path.
" Not really. But I can feel the energy flow trough the walls and if you focus wel enough, you'll feel the movements around you trough the floor." You said.
Jin blinked.
You can feel the movements around you trough the floor?
" I'm starting to think that you lost your sanity a while back." Jin deadpanned.
You chuckled, the sound vibrating off the walls.
" I'm starting to think that the Pegasus Tribe is more distant from their own elements than expected." You bit back, tough it didn't feel like an offense, more like a curious statement.
" I geuss. I mean, I doubt I can do anything like what you can do." Jin said sadly.
You hummed in response.
" Tell me Jin, what can you do trough your soulmates bond?" You asked.
" Not much really. I can feel her emotions, when she's near, and I can hear her toughs. That's it, I think." Jin said, tough it seemed as if he was more of a question.
" Really that's all?" You asked, obviously suprised.
" Why do you sound so suprised? Can a soulmate bond be more than?" Jin asked, also suprised.
" Well, yes-" You said, cutting yourself off and pressing your palm against the wall as you stop walking.
Jin is about to ask you why you stopped, when the cave is suddenly dully lit again by flames.
He raised his eyebrows in suprise, Beansprout wasn't here, meaning you did this.
" How even-?" He starts.
You nod with a smile, taking your hand off the wall, tough the flames don't go off.
Jin watches in wonder around the cave, there's much more detail to it now that he can see it clearly.
The walls which he had believed were cold and naked, were actually a warm brown colour with moss growing here and there. Very few small plants are growing all over the place, and small animals hop by Jin's feet.
They're not shy like the animals who aren't soulmated in his own Tribe's space.
" The soulmate bond can be a lot more than just a connection." You smile, as Jin turns back to you with an amazed look.
You're now holding a rabbit, and while they usually feel unsafe when they're taken off the ground, this one seems to like being close to you as you softly pet his head.
" Wait, you can use Beansprout's power?" Jin asked in perplexion, never had he met anyone who could do that.
No one in the Pegasus Tribe or the Unicorn Tribe could, not even the chiefs.
" Yes, I can use his, and he can use mine." You tell him.
" But, how?"
" Before the days where people could build houses and stables, they used to live on whatever magic they were in touch with. There's the four elements all our soulmates are in touch with, whenether they're aware of it or not, and then there's also the rare cases around it, like poisen." You said as you set the rabbit down again, who still stuck close by you.
" Wait, you mean to say that Sapphire could like, bend water?" He asked excitedly as the both of you walked again.
Your eyes widen in realization.
" Wait, Sapphire is not able to waterbend or something alike?" You asked, obviously suprised.
Jin swallowed.
"No? Is that bad?" Jin asked.
" No. I don't think so? I'm just suprised." You said as you two were now at the bottom of the cave.
The space was at the bottom was bigger than he expected, tough he had always seen it behind the glass, it now seemed to be around twice the size of Sapphire's old stable.
" It's prettier here up close." Jin said as he looked around.
You nod, no words leaving your mouth.
After a few moments of just playing and cuddling with the animals there, Jin's toughs leave to you.
He can see how the animals aren't carefull around you, not in the way they are around him. He can almost feel the connection you have with them. They don't see you as a person, more like an animal, a part of them.
The few animals who are near Jin are curious of him, but they don't cross any lines by getting close to him. The animals near you are all too happy to plop down in your lap and have you run your fingers trough their fur.
" Come sit here." You tell Jin, startling him out of his toughs as you pat the spot beside you.
He doesn't say anything, just does what's asked.
" They're all introverts. They won't reach our to you, you'll have to reach out to them." You tell him as you lift your hand where a tiny mouse peeks at him.
He once again doesn't say anything, instead holds out his hand to touch your own.
To his suprise, the mouse sniffs it before running over his arm and settling down onto his shoulder.
He smiles, and soon reaches out to the other animals as well, some even get bold enough to also plop down in his lap, only to look up at him and see if he minds. Once they know he doesn't, they curl up in a ball of fluff and simply rest there.
Now that he's practically surrounded by it, he realizes.
The animals here aren't simply here because you're some sort of animal magnet. They're here because they can feel the warmth of your soulmate bond with Beansprout. It's so strong, that even Jin can almost feel it, being basket whitin the whole thing.
" Hey Y/N?" He asks, an idea sprouting in his mind.
You hum in response.
" Do you think you could teach me?" He asks, now also turning to look at you.
" Teach you what?" You ask, holding eye contact.
" On how to make my soulmate bond stronger. Like yours." He asks, even tough it's more of a statement.
You blink at him before smiling.
" I mean, yes. But I could also ask the teacher's here. They know how to learn you best, I think." You tell him.
" Did they teach you too?" He asks.
You shake your head with a sad smile.
" Only partly. My parents were pirates and because I caught a lot of attention from Sea Serpents and animals alike, they decided they did not want me. They dropped me off in the Death Valleys, and that's where I found Beansprout. Or well, he found me. I was just crying the whole time if I'm honest. But what could you expect? I was five when they dumped me there. Beansprout was the one who took care of me. As a human I had a hard time there, but I was safe in his cave. I only moved here when I was eleven, I had heard about the Dragon Tribe and wanted to check it out. We ended up staying here. And I got taught the little things I did not know about our bond." You tell him.
He's suprised to say the least. You were way stronger than you look.
" Wait, you used the bond the way our ancestors did. For survival." He realizes.
You think before nodding.
" I mean, yeah, I geuss so." You shrugg.
He smiles excitedly.
" I want you to be the one to teach me Y/N."
" What? Are you sure?" You ask perplexed.
He nods enthusiastically.
" Yes. It has to be you. I'm sure of it."
" Okay then. It'll be quite the trip. But it'll be worth it. We start in three days. So you better be ready by then."

his breaths were ragged, and his chest moved with each one he took. puffs of white circled the air, disappearing in seconds. his foot nudged something heavy, one of the bodies that laid by his feet. not bodies, per say, considering these people weren't dead, but merely unconscious. he would have found the sight endearing and sadistically satisfying if it weren't for the fact he was practically a wet dog and the blood of his wounds was seeping through his clothes.
with an irritated grunt, he pulled his jacket off himself, holding it above his head. it made him even colder, but he wouldn't be able to focus on where to go if the rain kept beating down on him. the streets were beginning to flood. now was not a good time to be out. there was a gash on his right eyebrow, he knew that for sure. and a cut on his left thigh, left there perfunctorily by one of the men who decided to jump him. he was sure he had a couple of bruises on his torso as well.
now, it wasn't that dagur was weak -- because he sure as hell wasn't, but there had been a lot of people who decided to catch him by surprise. he fought them off, of course, but not without a couple of marks himself. he began walking, footsteps making the water splash below, and his eyes landed on the sight of a bus stop. there were two benches, accompanied by a roof and thin, hole poked walls on each side, but it'd have to do for now, at least until he found out where the hell he was.
he clawed for his phone that was deep in his pocket, tried turning it on, hoping miraculously, it would work despite it being completely drenched. the screen only remained black, and dagur couldn't help but growl -- stupid fucking 20$ phones. he shoved it back into his pocket.
he stood back up again, running a hand through his untamed hair. a kid had once ran up to him and told him he resembled hercules, from the disney movie. dagur himself didn't really see the similarity, but hey, kids had wild imaginations, and he didn't really want to put that to a halt. he started walking again, hands holding up his jacket.
it seemed like he'd walked for miles before he found a street sign. he had to squint through the rain to see it before reading it -- Escobar, is what it said. why had that sounded familiar?
despite not knowing why it held such an influence on him, he took the turn and went down the street. by the look of these houses, he was in the suburbs, with nicely trimmed grass and cleared sidewalks. he was sure it'd look a lot better one the sky cleared up, and it wasn't raining.
he was beginning to know where he was. yeah, he knew what this place was. wasn't associated personally, but hell if he didn't know it. he'd visited a few times, and at this point he knew the way back to his shitty, run-down apartment, but he hadn't seen hiccup haddock in what had been literal years. he didn't know what time it was, knew it was late and likely that hiccup wasn't going to answer the door, but at this point dagur didn't think there was much that mattered in his life, other than gambling, the occasional drink and the brooding in late night hours.
he let out a breath that he didn't realize he had been holding, and it made a white puff of air. he dragged his feet towards the light grey, almost bluish porch. he took a step up one of the stairs and knew he'd leave a muddy footprint, but it wasn't anything he couldn't clean after. really, there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for hiccup haddock; even though the guy had broken his heart without knowing how much it hurt. it was in the past, but the memory was still so fresh in his mind; like popping a mint into your mouth. overpowering and sensual.
before he knew it he was at the door. it was a pale white, and he distantly heard the sound of a windchime. dagur lifted a calloused hand, curled it into a fist and had about to knock. there was something stopping him but he couldn't place what.
he'd knocked anyways, and standing there left him feeling both exhausted and anxious. weariness was started to settle on him, and his wounds were beginning to hurt now that his adrenaline had died down completely. upon his first knock there was no sound; no shuffling footprints, just silence.
"come on, hiccup," he whispered, giving another, stronger knock. "open up. please."
minutes passed and he had been about to leave; but the there was a thud from inside the house. dagur froze in his tracks, and he swore he saw the blinds of the windows twitched. after that, there was another, long pause of silence.
there was the sound of a lock, and dagur almost let go a sigh of relief. he hoped hiccup still lived here, and that he wasn't knocking on a stranger's house -- but then he decided that idea was a stupid one. if it was a stranger, the door wouldn't have opened at all.
hiccup looked different from highschool, dagur realized instantly. the scrawny, curled in on himself kid didn't look like that at all. hiccup's posture was open; confident than it had been before. he was slouching slightly, but dagur simply guessed it was because he was drowsy with sleep; and he was correct. hiccup's head was messy, tiny hairs sticking in every direction, and bags under his eyes that wouldn't be noticeable if you really looked. although he had just woken from sleeping, he still had his day clothes on; a black long sleeve and rumpled jeans adorning his body. a digital watch accompanied his left wrist; it was a sight to behold after years of not seeing him.
"dagur?" hiccup questioned, and god, it was so good to hear his voice after so long, so good to see him after such a long period of time. hiccup may have rejected him back in highschool, but dagur would be lying if he said hiccup haddock didn't have a specific, (albeit cliché) place in his heart. he couldn't help but stare. "what are you doing here? actually, what happened to your head?"
and too soon for his taste, dagur was snapping out of his thoughts. he gave a low chuckle from within his chest, rubbing the back of his neck. "it's a long story," he admitted quietly, glancing into emerald eyes. "could i come inside, please?"
hiccup shifted, giving a sigh and stuffing the hand that wasn't holding the door into his pocket. "dagur, i don't really think that's a good idea-"
"please," he responded, cutting hiccup off. "i'll be out of your hair by morning, hiccup... i'm freezing and my head hurts." saying that he would be gone so soon made his chest ache in protest.
hiccup squinted at him, silent for a good long moment before nodding slowly. "alright, dagur. just put your shoes there on the porch. don't want my floor covered with mud," he said, leaving the door open and retreating within the depth of his home.
without hesitation, dagur did as the other said. he toed his shoes off, and his socks, considering everything below his ankles was drenched. he left his jacket outside, too, letting it hang over the light besides the door before following hiccup inside, letting the door shut behind himself with a quiet thud.
he wasn't given any time to really look around the room before there was something soft being pressed into his hands. his green eyes flickered downwards, and in his palms was a soft, grey blanket.
"I'll get you some clothes," hiccup said. he'd been about to turn away before dagur spoke again.
"your clothes aren't going to fit me, hiccup."
"I wouldn't have guessed," the other said sarcastically, and dagur had been slightly relieved that his humour hadn't gone anywhere. he almost cracked a smile. "but you're cold. I'll get them for you anyways."
and like that, hiccup was gone. dagur didn't realize how tightly his fist had curled around the blanket, not until he found his hand loosening and a soreness in his knuckles. with a quiet sigh, he turned away as well and let his eyes scan the rest of the room.
the walls were a light grey, and it would have looked depressing if there weren't any sort of pictures hung up on them. upon entering the house, dagur's feet were met with warm, cream coloured carpet. to his left was a dark grey couch, and a transparent, glass coffee table in the middle. right across from it was a flatscreen TV; and dagur was just realizing how luxurious the house really was.
there was a fireplace, too. it wasn't lit, but it was there. on top of the fireplace was a brown shelf, holding two pictures on either side and in the center a little bowl filled with fake leaves, likely just for decor. dagur let himself draw closer to the pictures, and picked up the nearest one.
it was hiccup, but younger. hiccup in high school, he realized. but it wasn't just him, no, there was someone else in the picture. a blonde girl, and she looked all too familiar, and dagur knew who she was instantly. how could he not? this was the same girl who stole hiccup's heart as his own was shattered.
Astrid Hofferson. she looked the same as he remembered. both her arms were wrapped around his neck, eyes fluttered closed and a happy smile on her face as she was kissing hiccup's cheek. his heart sank into his own chest, and dagur hated the feeling.
hiccup was there, smiling with joy. he looked like he was laughing, if anything. behind them was what seemed to be a Ferris wheel, and dagur guessed that they were on a date at the carnival. his grip tightened on the frame of the picture, and he set it back into its original place before he broke it out of anger.
it should've been him in that photo. not Astrid.
slight guilt overcame him with that thought. it shouldn't have mattered who hiccup was with; as long as he was happy. and dagur told himself that too many times to count, yet he couldn't help the raw, sheer rage that came along with the thought of hiccup being with anyone other than him. it made him angry, and ridiculously so. he'd watched them too many times have fun together, while he was stuck on the sidelines, wondering why the hell hiccup had chosen her instead of him.
although, the picture made him distantly wonder where she was now. had they stayed together after highschool? was she just merely upstairs, asleep in hiccup's bed?
with a shaky exhale through his nose, dagur took a step back before he really grew unstable. he looked at another photo, and this time it was of hiccup and his father at graduation. stoick wore a fond smile, and he radiated how proud he was, even though it was just a photo. hiccup wore a black cap and gown, holding his certificates. the sight made dagur crack a tiny smile. he hadn't been there for the ceremony, but surprisingly, he had graudated.
"those are old memories," hiccup said from behind. dagur turned, still holding onto the blanket he was given. "here." he stuck out a fresh pair of clean clothes and dagur took them gratefully.
"thanks," dagur muttered in return, tossing the blanket over his shoulder, biting back his tongue so he wouldn't ask what had happened to astrid. "where's your restroom?"
hiccup gestured upstairs, rubbing one of his eyes. "first door to your right. when you're done, come back down here and i'll uh. tend your injuries."
"sure," dagur responded, despite his need to ask questions, but he could ask those once he wasn't a wet dog anymore. there was an awkward pause of silence before dagur turned and headed upstairs.
the carpet became wood once he was up. dagur had found the restroom wth ease, but there was just something naghing at him -- he wanted desperately to check.
he let the clothes and the blanket rest on the counter of the restroom, and he took a step to the door at the end of the hall, which was creaked open just slightly.
dagur peaked through the crack, opening the door just slightly more, giving himself a better view. it was hiccup's room, for sure -- and he glanced towards the bed, nearly shouting in relief when there was no other body in it.
there was a movement from the corner of his eye, but before he'd been given the chance to move, there was a large, black blob that was heading straight for him, all speed and power.
dagur shouted once the thing hit his face, his hands reaching up to grab at it. the thing let out a loud, screeching "yowl!", and there was a sudden, sharp pain at his eye.
he heard footsteps racing up the stairs, and at this point he had ran into something -- probably a desk, he couldn't see a damn thing -- and then there was hiccup's voice coming from into the room, "toothless!" hands were on top of dagur's own, and the black mass was wrenched away from his face, followed by a hiss sound.
dagur was too preocupied with the pain on his face to really pay attention. he raced out the room and back towards the restroom, fastily turning the light on, muttering strings of curses before he finally looked up at the mirror, letting his hand fall from his face.
his expression dropped at the sight. three claw marks were at his eye, diagnol and bleeding red. his jaw clenched at the pain, bringing his hand up and giving it a gentle touch before letting out a low growl. fuck, it stung, and he wanted to know what in the hell had done it. his face was fucked for life -- that much he was certain of.
"dagur? dagur, are you okay?" hiccup's voice drew near, and his teeth began to ache from how hard he set his jaw. he noticed hiccup standing at the doorway thanks to the mirror, and he turned abruptly to face the other, almost as if saying, ' do i LOOK okay? '
"o-oh gods. your eye!" hiccup shouted, and dagur couldn't help the snarl leave from his throat. his gaze drifted down and his (good) eye narrowed, pointing at the black mass hiccup currently held in his hands.
"what. the hell," dagur started, "is that?" he said, voice dripping of venom. suddenly the mass shifted and there were green eyes and dialated black pupils staring ferociously straight at him, and then he knew what it was -- a cat. a damn cat. hiccup had a fucking guard cat in his room!
"first of all, it is a he," hiccup said return, and dagur's (good) eye twitched irkingly. "and his name's toothless."
"well, excuse me," dagur said, glaring at the animal hiccup craddled as it if were a stuffed animal, "that i am so rude, even though he scratched my face!"
"you were tresspasing," hiccup said, like it provided any justification. "you were in my room, weren't you? or trying to peak inside, at least?"
"you're saying i deserve this?!"
"i wouldn't go that far."
at those words, dagur made a highly frustrated noise. "okay, you know what? fine! i'm going to change, and then you are going to tend to this," dagur gestured to his face, and to the rest of his wounds. after that, he didn't give hiccup a time to respond, shutting the door promptly in the cat's face.
it was going to be a hell of a night.

can you imagine if the clothes of newborn Alfie are a lit bit big on him and like there aren't other sizes because his is the most small so his clothes are a bit big of him and makes him super cute and tiny and oh I'm crying
Anonymous said: but imagine newborn Alfie being so tiny that even the baby gow is a bit big for him❤️
Oh, my god. Don’t even get me started on this, please, because it’s so dangerous of me to even start imagining.
The thought of baby Alfie in his hospital bassinet, a couple of hours after being born and dressed in a blue and white striped baby-grow that is too big and too baggy on his tiny figure, makes my heart race and my whole demeanour go soft and fuzzy. And the missus and Harry can’t stop staring at him and looking at him as he sleeps beside his bed, a beanie over his head and his lips pouted with his full and flushed cheeks on show. Breathing softly and swaddled up in a white and knitted blanket that had STYLES embroidered into a bottom corner, in a gorgeous baby-blue colour, made courtesy of Anne.
“He’s tiny, isn’t he?” Harry whispers, voice raspy and crackling, full of sleep as the words travelled up his dry throat, “six pounds five. Smallest of our two, huh? We’ve gone from close to eight pounds to the middle of six.”
“Didn’t feel so tiny when he was nestled in here and kicking my insides and making me wee all the time,” she murmurs, running her palm across her slightly swollen belly and dipping her chin to her chest, “made me look huge, he did. Wouldn’t ever think I gave birth to him, would you? Looking at the sizes of me before and after he was born.”
“You were pregnant, you nutter. He made you look so gorgeous. Persephone made you look gorgeous, too. You weren’t as huge as you think you were,” he hums and pulls her closer to his side, hiding his lips in her hair and pressing a kiss to her scalp, “you have such a glow when you’re pregnant, you know? Always look so beautiful.” xx
