So I ended up forgetting about the og idea I wanted to send because I didn’t write it down. 🙂‍↕️

But I do have another idea that involves Reader being a freak for art! If you’ve ever played (or watched someone play) Persona 5, Reader is a little bit like Yusuke, they love to draw and paint and all that fun stuff. They’re also a bit of a simp and have pages in their sketchbooks dedicated to drawing people they fancy.

So, not really nudity here, but one day while drinking, Reader gets so drunk off of their ass they finally dare to ask the question that’s been gnawing at the back of their mind:

“Hey, [muse]…D’ya wanna model naked for me?”

Bonus points if they’re trying to ask it to their muse in question, but they’re so drunk they don’t realize they’re facing someone else entirely.

Like, their muse could be Sunday and they’re trying to ask Sunday to model naked for them, but they’re facing Robin.

You, an artist swept into the chaos of Penacony’s surreal world, found yourself seated at a circular table with Sunday and Robin. Despite your initial plans to observe the Halovian pair discreetly, the generous flow of Halovian wine had turned those plans into a swirling mess.

Your sketchbook lay open on the table, pages flipping as a gust of laughter erupted around you. The pages showcased the delicate strokes of your pencil—portraits of Sunday, Robin, and various festival moments. They were all expertly rendered, but your fascination with Sunday was painfully obvious. His eyes seemed to pierce through the pages, and even his halo was meticulously detailed.

Sunday, maintaining his composure, leaned down to meet your gaze. “While I appreciate your artistic passion,” he said smoothly, “I fear your request might be better suited for sober conversation.”

The IPC gala was a hub of high-stakes networking, dazzling lights, and endless champagne. You, an artist with an eye for detail, found yourself amidst the extravagance, clutching your sketchbook like a lifeline. Aventurine and Topaz had invited you along, each promising you’d find inspiration among the elite.

You had taken them at their word, sketching furiously as your muses moved through the crowd. Aventurine, with his flamboyant overcoat and peacock feather earring, exuded charisma that demanded attention. Topaz, on the other hand, carried herself with a composed confidence, her hair catching the gala’s light.

Topaz shook her head, a small smirk tugging at her lips. “You’re impossible.”

Aventurine leaned closer, tilting your chin up with a gloved finger. “Flattery will get you everywhere,” he purred. “But we’ll discuss terms when you’re sober.”

Topaz snorted. “You’re both ridiculous.”

And in your drunken haze, you could only laugh, thrilled by the chaotic charm of your muses.

To my great surprise, one of my friends expressed interest in DnD, bringing the total people interested including myself to a whopping THREE! Now, I've only played DnD a few times at a game shop and literally no other TTRPGs, but I'd be open in checking out other stuff (and can hopefully persuade my friends)! Would you happen to have any recs for maybe a bit more of an intro/beginners game that one could run with three players total? (If you happen to know any that maximizes a player feeling badass, that'd be neat & appreciated, as I think that's the main draw for them lol). Anyways, thanks for your time :3

Hiiii thanks for your question! So have in mind that I haven't played any of these firsthand because I'm mostly into games that mechanically emphasize disempowerment (the games i run tend to go less for the Found Family of Heroic Misfits Go on an Epic Quest approach and more for the Gang of Amoral Treasure Hunters Get Themselves Killed While Looking For Treasure in a Dark Scary Hole one), so I'm going off mainly from the play experience implied by reading the rules themselves and by what I've heard other people say about them.

First of all Is Quest RPG

I've seen it recommended a couple times by @thydungeongal and after reading a bit of it I have to agree with her assessment that this is the game that most D&D players seem to ACTUALLY want to play when they start invoking Rule 0 and the Rule of Cool and playing fast and loose with mechanics. It's a game where the explicit design intention seems to be natively supporting the style of gameplay that most popular D&D Actual Play shows feature, without any of the negatives of trying to fit 5e's square peg into that particular round hole. It's also available for free, which is pretty nice.

I would also recommend Brighthammer: Rules Light High Fantasy (which is a hack of Sledgehammer: Rules Light Dark Fantasy)

It's a simple system with a d100 resolution mechanic which fits into two eight-page mini-zines, one for the players and one for the GM.

It leans into the heroic fantasy angle specifically by letting players continually accumulate advantage to rolls during combat encounters by performing heroic actions, such as defending an ally or an innocent bystander. This one is also free and it's a pretty quick read so you don't lose anything by checking it out.

Next up is The Basic Hack

This one is a slightly streamlined version of The Black Hack, which itself is a massively streamlined version of early editions of D&D. Just like The Black Hack, it uses D&D's classic six-attribute array and a lot of other mechanical elements that make it pretty easily compatible with a lot of D&D materials while still being a very distinct system of its own, but where it differs from TBH is that it simplifies a lot of its mechanics and overall has a less gritty and more heroic tone.

Lastly there is Break!!, which is the only game in this list that is going to cost you any non-zero amount of money

Break!! has some old-school sensibilities here and there (seems to take some inspiration specifically from games like Cairn and ITO) but aesthetically and tonally it takes most of its cues from fantasy anime and JRPGs. It has a pretty cool-looking setting, and some interesting twists on classic fantasy TTRPG races and classes. You get everything from "basically a D&D fighter with a different name" to "paladin meets magical girl" to "literally an isekai protagonist". Anyway one way in which it leans into making the players feel pwoerful and badass is that its initiative system rewards being proactive in fights: whatever side starts the fight gets to act first, with no checks or rolls required. Also, it handles health depletion on a per-encounter basis. Health regenerates fully imbetween fights, essentially ensures that players always start fights at full strength and gets rid of long-term resource depletion. Which, you know, i like long-term resource depletion for my games, but if what you want to do is feel like badass heroes this is definitely the way to go, and it still has some interesting long-term consequences for running out of health in a fight.

34. What was his first impression of the lamb?

fuzzy, he knows kind of what is happening but i think it is more interesting to me if he doesn't have a direct lens outside of the void. he is ultimately meant to be trapped there so the only context he can receive in terms of what is happening is through the dead and speaking to vessels but like- this is it, the last lamb. it's either all or nothing for him if the prophecy is true. whether or not he think the lamb will be a good vessel and his opinion of them he knows is largely irrelevant

SO- i think at one point he describes them as mouldable, though i do think he's wrong in doing/thinking/narrating so. hollow yes and they most certainly broke, but they don't believe in him. which makes it pretty hard to make them do stuff they don't want to do in a way he would understand ultimately the hollow are hallow for they are vessels to be filled is how he thinks of them; a thing, an object, a tool the lamb sees it as they making a deal neither of them has another option of taking, which i think of as a more accurate representation of their relationship. if they want to survive- they have to say yes, if he want to escape- he has to give away his power they both kind of have to trust that they'll keep up their end of the deal- the lamb survives and the god is freed and why would it matter what happens to them- it's not like mortals are people

i don't think so not because he didn't think they could betray him but because the nature of the deal was never godhood and thus his confusion is why they would do it at all to be clear though he didn't intend to, not ever state, that they would survive beyond the sojourning of their life- they both knew this, both agreed to it, and at no point did the lamb seem to want it at all it's not like he didn't know it was possible, or even unlikely. he can see a lot of versions of the lamb based off the knowledge he has of them. whether or not this information is 'true' in the sense of the choices that will be made is largely irrelevant. there are versions of the lamb that betray him, there are versions that don't

he does start to realise the funnel of possibilities isn't looking great when they tell him they never bow to his siblings. this could be a lie though- he can't know as he can see many possibilities but not what is actually happening their stoicism begins to bother him despite it being a constant trait, i don't think of the two of them speaking much at this period though what would have mattered if they had anyways, it's not like gods are people

vtuber xavier- he’s definitely gained his audience with his pretty vtuber model (which he randomly commissioned someone to make one day, out of curiosity), and i say that because he’s not sticking to a particular genre of streaming, he sometimes does gaming, sometimes shows off his “pets” and sometimes even cooking. he streams for fun so he doesn’t want to put boundaries onto something that’s not his job, with that being said xavier often chooses to sleep instead of streaming.

vtuber xavier doesn’t mind “oversharing” with his subscribers on his personal life, as he’s not the kind to want to hide his real identity from the internet. his channel is a pretty chill one and you will see him stream at the most random schedule.

vtuber zayne is very serious about his streaming, and makes sure everything he says on stream is accurate. again his channel will be very chill yet extremely informative, and he might even be the kind to post work with me videos and other educational stuff on whatever his viewer requested on. (while he spends a lot of time researching and perfecting his script, really his viewers are just there for his voice)

on the rare occasion he does game, you will find him spending more time prepping and strategising than actually playing the game, while also giving chat a lot of attention and love, with or without donations.

vtuber zayne tries his best to stream with a regular schedule, although when he doesn’t show up, he avoids giving the real reason, he’s using a vtuber model for a reason.

vtuber rafayal definitely does art, most the time he’s just streaming as he’s doing his regular art commissions, as he finds it motivating to interact with his chat during the long tedious hours of work, showered with love and affection by his fans. while it’s not one of his main reasons, streaming also offers him an extra source of income and makes him feel validated for his artworks.

vtuber rafayal uses a vtuber model since he drew it himself, and he loves the way it turned out, so of course he wouldn’t let it go to waste; so it doesn’t really bother him when he accidentally showed his face in a stream one time, and now he’s so unbothered he just lets his face be in frame if it makes it convenient for him to draw.

vtuber sylus does asmr, 100%. he calls his viewers kittens and gladly obey his fan’s donation requests, even the kinkiests. he could go on stream for hours just reading scripts written by either his fans or his personal secretary, he doesn’t need the money, he’s just streaming on a regular schedule because he likes what he’s doing.

vtuber sylus, as crazy as it sounds, doesn’t want other people to know that he streams, perhaps considering his occupation, or rather he’s a bit embarrassed; but it’s okay, he spent a lot (not that he cares) on his model and perfected it so he doesn’t mind either way.

this is all to say that i live my life like this. i get my shitty body rocked by flashbacks especially after being abused on & off for 22 years. the things that have been working for me have been sleeping for more than 2 hrs & also trying to kill the part of me that instinctively goes "i don't have time to sleep"

my ch 62 moment started because i was running to the er after an urgent care nurse went "oh yeah dude the months long debilitating migraines probably are not good". complained a lot about how i didn't have time to be in pain bc i was putting together stuff for a zine fair. i had to uber there coz it was so unbearably painful despite being loaded tf up on painkillers. the guy who drove me looked exactly like my abuser there was a song playing that was named after the place where i was abused. he was very sweet but i did relive in vivid detail the moments where my abuser drove me to the er for migraines. this one was different coz i wasn't sitting in the passenger's seat or being antagonized for lying

it was very bad. i got home & collapsed instantly. i woke up & went yeah ok fuck it i need to do something cool that goes hard but i had to wait coz of deadlines

i met my deadline. the fair went great despite running on 2 hrs of sleep & i got consigned coz of a zine i wrote in a single day while in a state of complete delirium. i stumbled over the word consignment when i was given the paper at the distro. now i'm having my fun trauma doodle which i tried very hard to rationalize as good practice or i'm studying or i'm going to make this into a print. i think it's just nice

a sign that i'm getting better is that i've let stories move me again. this was the first time i realized that. i hope to god it is not the last

A bunch of HCs and small analyses that I remembered from my Live Feed document on watching AVA. Aren't to be taken too seriously but I think I'll stick with them.

for the first one, I felt it'd be fun to note how I found the colour gang acting a bit like young teens during AVA S2/AVM S1. The one that differentiated from this was Purple, who I felt had a personality like a 17 year old who felt they had to "be better" than their younger peers, also wanting full control or to be seen highly. They still acted childish, of course, hence 17. As the seasons progress however, especially by the start of AVM S3, the group mature into an age range that sits comfortably between 18 and 19. In comparison, Purple regresses emotionally into more childish manners, which I notice gave him a common "youngest of the lot" hc. This is because of him finding a parental figure in KO and therefore feeling safe to return to childish mannerisms.

unpictured is the fact I also gave purple an autism HC alongside yellow. red's adhd is already pseudo-canon (not stated in media but talked about by Becker) so i like to call the red/yellow dynamic the AuDHD pairing.

The race HCs were brought upon by the matador short, where I thought "for the sake of niceties, i'm assuming Green is just latino now", which I honestly had a lot of fun with. In comparison, I had a lot of fun with the idea of Yellow having albinism and therefore nystagmus (if you saw my previous post on the fandom art styles, Yellow is specifically depicted using the HC). I wrote this on the Live Feed:

A thought I had with Blue was from my personal feelings that Becker using Blue for AVAddiction and still keeping the whole netherwart thing felt very "good on paper, a bit hypocritical in retrospect". So, the concept came to mind of netherwart being an analogy of alcohol rather than a substance. Of course, the message still stands, but alcohol to a lot of people is seen more casually in comparison to what the buttons referred to. It also made me think of the common "chronic pain" HC given to Blue following AVM E20, and the idea that the whole buttons thing/netherwart overuse could be a result of Blue trying to avoid chronic pain/numbness.

Either way, I've been doing a lot of thinking since my uni trip (which I had a lot of fun at, but there was no service, so I had to just think of ideas in my sleep and return to them later). I was wondering if there was actually some AVM/AVA fandom discord somewhere, or just places for general community. I want to talk to people rather than fighting for Tumblr notes. In other words, I'm asking to meet people and make friends in places outwith this algorithm. Care to help?

In this version, he's no longer a cosmic entity but just an eldritch entity, not quite as powerful but still enough to absolutely desimate entire worlds

What brought such a being into existence you may ask ?

Well, all of the magic and pride from every Pepperman in the multiverse formed a entity at the image of their paintings. Don't think of him as Pepperman tho, he's not, he's but a mear incarnation of pride and ego, a very one dimensional on in fact, he litteraly doesn't know his name is Phil, any complicated deep feelings simply don't exist for him.

He just loves to brag about his beauty, his art (especially his art) and power, very irritating guy...

Now, the Ticket Stand

First, let's clarify this: the Ticket stand is the booth with the entity inside, the entity inside is just called "Ticket stand guy"

The Ticket Stand guy is an entity of the void, it came to life after absorbing a small flame from C Pep's primordial fire. It just passes time by selling it's services as a reality warper for the fair price of $10.

C Noise thinks it's funny, and pointless. Why would the void need personification ? And why choose a F. Pep ?

C Pep thinks he's more of a hasard than anything, not very fond that a void entity is casually going around the multiverse. But it seems calm enough, so he let's it live. Pretty much every eldritch entities in the cosmic realm can destroy the multiverse if they wanted so... yeah...he's used to it

Noisette is a little star traveler ! She wonders throughout realms atop her umbrella.

She's quite the bubbly chatter box, and loves to hear adventures from other people.

This is a scraped mini comic I made, I didn't post it due to it's poor quality, but what the hell I'll post it now

And this is a whole lot more bigger scrapped comic starring C Noise and the soon to be C Noisette of this version. I never bothered to finish it because back when I made it, I barely had an idea of what the AU is about and it just didn't match with my idea of the Cosmic AU eventually. You can try to read it, but I warn you it's full of weird shit.

This is also a scrapped comic. In this story, C Pep creates out of a burst of creativity a cheese town with a cheese castle, cheese people with their cheese king and queen (none of them are sentient). Eventually the town is attacked by space rats (yes, space rats are a thing), C Pep beats them off effortlessly but got flamed up in the heat of the fight, in his absolute shock he sees that his flames didn't melt anything in the town, after repairing some buildings that broke during the fight, he leaves... but he didn't realise that during the fight his primordial fire gave sentience to all cheese people who witnessed his heroic acts. The cheese people immediately start to carve, write and sing about the story of The Mighty Cosmic chef, creator and hero of Cheesetopia. It was fun in my head but I eventually got a little bored and passed on some other projects.

Love Olympus: the "charming" lessons we learned from it

Hi! Are you searching for a good story, filled with creativity, care, coherence and beautiful art style? Then please, turn left and you will find something worth your time.

Here we will talk about that beautiful, terrible disaster that is Lore Olympus. Ah, it's always so nice to read a new retelling of Greek mythology and find out it's basically the same 200 stereotypes slapped together into something that's way older and staler than the original. What did my ancestor ever do to the world, to be treated like that.

But I've already talked about what a waste of potential Lore Olympus is, how pathetic the writing is and how bad the protagonists are. I've spent more than enough words commenting on why this series could've been great and came out like this.

Now there's only one thing left: to make fun of it. To draw our conclusions on the whole thing and the finale and find out what "wonderful" messages we got from it.

Don't worry: the messages are absolutely wonderful and I'm not sarcastic, not at aaaaall.

Planning in advance is for the weak

Don't you know how to fill your third season, after the "battle" that closed season 2? No problem! People will read you anyway, so instead of planning and moving the plot forward, waste everyone's time writing chapter after chapter of pure nothingness: your characters can have discussions so stupid, that people will question if they have been written by using ChatGPT. That will surely prove what a great writer you are!

And don't worry too much about the plot: just wait until inspiration magically falls from the sky. That's how it works, isn't it? Stories are just random events slapped together, with no planning, care or coherence whatsoever. When we write a story, we don't want to treat our readers like intelligent human beings, oh no: people are idiots, so we can just throw them the first shit that pops out of our minds and everything will be fine.

Coherence is for the weak

After waiting for inspiration (that somehow hasn't fallen from the sky yet, jeez I wonder why), you still don't know what to do with your plot? Easy, use one of the villains! Like the rapist guy! Now he's running for President.

Yes, we know there is a monarchy in this land, because there is a king, but it doesn't matter. The rapist is trying to be President now. President of what, you ask? It doesn't matter! Presidents exist, right? So he's trying to be one, that's all you need to know.

Will he become President? He's running from it, that's all! You don't need to know what happens after that! As we all know, stories do not have closed plot points, they're just random shit thrown around. So why care about solving a problem you just raised? Just forget it, it's not important.

Is the story supposed to take place in Olympus or, at least, in Greece? Well, what's the problem? As we all know, Europe and the US are basically the same thing, so how different can Greece and America be?

I mean: one is a huge country with many climate zones and wide areas, the other is a small, hot country mostly made of mountains and islands. One has a millennia-years-old culture that influenced the entirety of the West, the other is literally called the New World, to emphasize how young it is. Same place.

So, since they're so similar they're basically identical, just fill your Greece with American stuff and give your characters English names. Greece is notoriously full of English names. It's not like there are millions of people with similar names because parents give their own parents' names to their offspring and sometimes all siblings give their parents' names to all their children and the result is that your cousins all have the same goddamn name and you all came up with nicknames to distinguish between them.

No, that's not based on personal experience, what makes you think that.

The protagonist is better than anyone else

Is Zeus telling you he wants to give his child to some nymphs, because he knows won't be a good father? Well, clearly the most normal thing to do is steal his baby. No, not because you're a psychopath, but because you clearly know how to handle the baby better than some nymphs. Remember: you are the protagonist, hence you are better at everything anyone can do, especially a stupid nymph. You will care for the baby more and better than anyone else, no doubt.

Is the child you stole running around without supervision? But you took care of him! You even hired a babysitter! No, of course you didn't spend time with him, you were busy! What? It could've been better to leave the child with the nymphs as Zeus wanted, because at least they would've spent their time with the child and not hired someone else to do it? Listen, we don't work with logic here and you are the protagonist, so of course all of your decisions are perfect and should never be questioned.

Speaking of kids: is your mother telling you she had a son who died? Time for some favoritism! Your husband is the god of the dead, so death isn't a problem anymore. What? Death is supposed to be impossible to overcome? But you're the protagonist, so the mere mortals' rules do not apply to you. Death is nothing, compared to your perfection.

Oh no, you accidentally caused winter! And a genocide! But remember: you're the protagonist, so of course you're always perfect. And you didn't do it on purpose, so you're automatically innocent and people attacking you are just mean and jealous.

See? You're so perfect, you found a way to solve the problem! How? Easy, by believing in yourself ✨✨✨ And by talking (badly) about how life and death are linked. Yes, we know it's the equivalent of saying that 2+2=4, but we don't want to treat our readers like intelligent people, here. All they have to do is just revel in your perfection.

Do you still have no idea what to do with your plot, after too many useless chapters? Easy, use the cartoonish supervillain! He will do the trick! And throw another naked woman to defeat him: it worked once, it'll work again.

Is your cartoonish supervillain actually useless? No problem, make another villain even more useless. And make him appear out of thin air for two chapters. And since readers are stupid, just tell them that he was the evil mastermind behind everything. They'll eat it up.

Oh, and President Loser is in cahoots with SuperMegaVillain now. Why? Because Yes, of course.

You don't know how to defeat SuperMegaVillain? 🧑‍🤝‍🧑Avengers Assemble🧑‍🤝‍🧑and you're done. It worked for Marvel, it'll work for your story too. I know it's settled in Greece and fertility goddesses do not have resurrection powers or whatever the fuck they're doing, but shhhhh.

Random justice is good

With all those villains to defeat, you forgot your story is supposed to be a retelling of the myth of Hades and Persephone? No problem, just stick a "Gaia Ex-Machina" here and let her solve the story with a power and authority she doesn't have. No one will notice the difference.

Speaking of justice: is the rapist gonna get the punishment he deserves? Sure, get this: he will fall in love with you and turn himself in. And he will get community service as punishment.

Are you saying that this isn't a real punishment? But of course it is! He turned himself in! The victim isn't allowed to expose him, nor to see him actually getting punished. All the victim can do is walk away. It's not that lack of control is a big deal for a rape victim, right? And seeing the rapist finally get punished won't give them the catharsis they need, right? And it definitely won't free them of the huge weight they carry on, because of the awful, horrible act they suffered from, right?

Of course not, so ah ah ah, the rapist gets to build places, very funny. And aside from that stupid punishment, of course he's free to walk around and, who knows?, maybe rape someone else. Wow, justice truly works well in this place! I would feel so safe to go around there!

All those villains could've been great in a story centered around Zeus? We don't work with Zeus here: we hate men, all men except for the capitalist hubby of our dreams. So Zeus is a useless piece of shit and he will keep being a useless piece of shit until the end. Also, he's not a real king anymore, because apparently democracy popped out of nowhere and everyone just rolls with it. I wonder why it too centuries to accept it all over the world...

And Hera is a lesbian now. Why? I already told you we don't work with logic here. She's a lesbian because queer people are idiots too, so thrown them a queer character and they will like it, doesn't matter if it makes zero sense.

Uh? Are you saying that asexual and aromantic people exist too? No, of course not: they're just waiting for the hot lesbian of their dreams or for the hubby that will turn them into wives and mothers.

Hence why the organization centered around celibacy closed: it was just a cover for lesbians after all! And we all know that women can only be lesbians or mothers. A woman doesn't want or feel any romantic attraction? She doesn't exist, then.

Feminism means gender stereotypes

As Wikipedia says, feminism is:

"... a range of socio-political movements and ideologies that aim to define and establish the political, economic, personal, and social equality of the sexes."

But Wikipedia is stupid, while we won a shit ton of prizes for some reason, so we're the good authors here. And we decided that feminism means "women good, men bad". This definitely isn't a point of view based on a warping of the original concept of feminism, that focused on helping women because, since societies are patriarchal, men already have a powerful position. Hence why, feminism fought (and fights) to give women a powerful position too: to make both genders on the same plane.

But nope, this is all stupid and wrong and doing research is underrated - after all, we wrote a story entirely based on the first shit that popped into our mind, so why do research about this? Let's focus on the superficial vision of feminism and fight for women's equality, by making them lesbians or mothers.

Because sure, feminism is good, but capitalism is better. And since capitalism wants you to have kids, go home to your rich hubby and have a ton of kids you definitely won't neglect, like the child you stole or the supposed godson you never cared about and only after he's an adult "sometimes" you have a conversation with. That's how a perfect, traditional family works, after all. And we know this didn't lead to any generational trauma at aaaaall.

In conclusion

I don't know if you noticed the teeny tiny veil of sarcasm in my words. I know, it was so subtle, almost invisible. I made it oh-so-hard to find it, please let me know how hard it was.

But you know what? This story is over and I needed to let some sarcasm out. I am finally free to read something else, possibly (hopefully!) better.

And the next time I will approach another retelling... who am I kidding, I know I will fall for it like an idiot because that's what I do every time. They get me with something I love and once I find out it's shitty, I keep reading because I want to see how bad it is.

In this, Lore Olympus didn't disappoint: I expected something bad, I got something bad. And, sometimes, it was so bad, to make me laugh, so extra points for the stupidity: I appreciate something that makes me laugh, way more than something that makes me angry.

And, as I said in my previous posts, even something bad is useful, because it teaches you how NOT to do something.

So thank you, Lore Olympus, for being a terrible teacher. And thank you for making me appreciate the original myths even more. There's a reason why they still stand after millennials and can still capture the popular imagination, while this series will probably be forgotten in a couple years.

To you all, my readers: if you managed to reach the end of LO like me, congrats for surviving it, I hope you learned something useful about how to make better art.

But if you never approached Lore Olympus, don't do it: it's not worth the time you will lose.

Unless you want to see with your own eyes how does it look a story with zero planning and random ideas thrown everywhere. In that case, please, be my guest: read it and learn how not to write. You will learn a lot from this.

i have a death note superhero au living in my head but everything i make relating to it sucks so you all just have to trust me on this one okay…

some random stuff i’ve thought of for anyone interested:

light is more of a vigilante who goes by the name of “kira” (shocker). while he typically punishes villains, he does sometimes fight heroes who he deems unworthy of the title. his powers consist of super strength and flight. he gets stronger the longer a battle takes.

misa is a hero who goes by “misa-misa.” her identity is hardly a secret. she does a lot of model/acting work when she’s not fighting crime. her main power is being able to charm people, which she uses to her advantage against her enemies. while she likes to flirt with kira, she’s never used her ability on him.

there are a number of objects (usually jewelry of some kind) dropped by shinigami scattered across the earth. these give the people who pick them up very strong powers. the shinigami can only be seen and heard by the person who possesses their respective object. the shinigami will often stay within the object, but they can come out to protect their owner if they desire.

light and misa both possess shinigami objects. misa had powers before obtaining it. light did not.

L, watari, near, mello, and matt all work for an agency that specializes in superhuman related crimes. the police kinda hate them for taking their cases, but occasionally they work together when the situation calls for it.

L is sort of the head of the agency. near, mello, and matt are all sort of his students (that he makes go out and do jobs for him). his power is being able to transfer his consciousness to other people. he typically uses it to get into the heads of criminals their investigating, and figure out a way to draw a confession out of them (since “i saw it in their brain” usually doesn’t cut it) (even though L could just make the suspect say they did it, he finds it to be cheating and “no fun”). he also transfers his consciousness to watari’s body when he wants to see a crime scene first hand (which has resulted in many instances where his students have found his actual body to be practically a corpse).

watari has healing powers. like i said, L usually has him go on the field for him.

near is able to transform into different people, as long as he knows their name and what they look like. he attended a pretty good school before being selected by L to work with him.

mello is “immortal,” meaning he can’t die until he reaches the end of his own life span. L and watari have kept this a secret from him though, so he is under the impression that he has no power whatsoever. he was picked up by the agency when the rest of his family was caught up in a villain attack, and he was the only survivor among them (i wonder why).

matt is able to hack into technology using his mind. for example, he can view live camera feed by just thinking of the camera he wants to look through (though, he can’t be too far away from it). he attended the same school as near before being selected to work with L.

the agency is trying to investigate kira because he has been almost (and sometimes actually) killing villains and heroes, and he’s not registered in their database (which all people with superpowers have to do). light just thinks it’s cool he has powers and he can do something about those who hurt people. it’s basically just the plot of death note but everyone has supernatural abilities.

this is all a work in progress and i’m writing half of this stuff down as i think of it but i think it’s a cool idea?? i don’t know???

I enjoy mathematics, and think calculus is cool.

I have a quite spectacular vocabulary, but if you were to give me a vocabulary test, I would most likely do not so spectacularly, for those tests use words like “jocular”, whereas I know words like “idolatry”, “autophagy”, and “defenestration”.

Despite said good vocabulary, I often use plain and ordinary language.

(It has been one year since I joined the pokeask community with my silly absol. One whole year. How did I get here? Like, damn. It’s just been such a lovely community and I’ve met some truly wonderful people.

I’m sorry I couldn’t get more of you on here. I wish I had the time to draw each and every one of you. This is why I needed the head shot so thank you to everyone who sent it over. Thank you to everyone in this community for being my inspirations, my joy and my friends. I cannot thank you enough. If I could make you all something more to say thank you, I would. (Also forgive me if the image quality is garbage. Tumblr does that sometimes. If you click on it, it'll be clearer.)

I suppose I’ll just go on and say I’ve always admired the community from afar. So many stories I was following. So many inspirational people. The events. The characters. They are all so wonderful. And I followed these blogs for years.

Getting hooked into everything about the ask blog community. At first, I was going to making an ask blog about a royal Goodra/Vespiquen fusion who goes to other places to make political connections for their hive. I drew up a couple of concepts but I didn’t go ahead with it.

I kept following the community, constantly being inspired and amazed by everyone inside of it. I’d wanted to join a community for a while. At first, I joined the Pokémon fusion community. It was fun. I met some great people. But, after a few years, it didn’t fill me with joy. I did fusions on multiple platforms, even making some fusions for the infinite fusions game (they’re still in there). I had a go with commissions. It just became a bit of a chore.

I tried making my own region. It only lasted a month. It left a gap which I didn’t know how to fill. I also did dnd with friends which mostly satisfied this but we didn’t do it consistently enough. I definitely miss doing it. I probably did fusions for 6 years. The blogs are still up. There was nothing I wanted to draw consistently.

Near the end of last year, I had a really tough time. My mental health took a really big dip and I was struggling. It was an incredibly dark time. I didn’t have much going on. Maybe we were doing dnd. I don’t remember though. I started drawing Pokémon because I wasn’t in the mood to draw dnd art.

I don’t know why but I started to draw an absol. I think it may have been inspired by my current dnd character. As I was drawing this absol, ideas started to form in my mind about who this absol was and the world they were from. Ideas kept flowing and flowing.

Once the absol was finished, I drew another character, and another and another. And I just kept drawing. Soon, I started drawing maps and a prophecy for this absol and their world. The name Destino came from the word Destiny. It brought me so much joy. I worked on it for a few days and put it to the side.

Then came around the 27th December 2022. I looked back on my planning for this world and thought perhaps I could turn it into an ask blog. At first, I was so nervous. I didn’t want to go through with it. My partner convinced me to make the blog. That’s when I began to draw the first post. And on December 29th 2022, I created the blog and made a reference post for Destino.

Soon, the first post was posted and I got asks. Exciting stuff! And it was so much fun deciding how Destino would respond. More asks kept coming and I eventually started sending asks to others. The most exciting part would have to be seeing people follow me who I was a huge fan of. Gonna be honest, I’m still so incredibly excited when talking to these people and when they like my stuff.

My love for this blog grew and I’ve spent a lot of my time working on it. I have loved each and every moment of it. It was fun having this smug, egotistical absol interacting with many characters who I am a huge fan of and entertaining to see their reactions. Destino was becoming a bit of a thing. Memes were made of Destino. Destino was insulting every legendary they could come across. For me, it was hilarious. And it seemed others were enjoying their antics too.

I am incredibly thankful each day with every interaction, every like, every follow, every reblog, etc. I’ve had. I’m grateful for this entire community. Every one of you has been so friendly and I love talking to you. This community has filled a void which I wasn’t sure would be filled. And I hope I can continue loving being in this community for a while. Destino is going to stick around for a while. I’ve got big plans for them and I hope to enjoy this journey with you all.

Crawling Back To You | George Clarke Part Three

Fluff. Smut. Angst

A few weeks had passed, Katie and Chris got closer, seeing each other more regularly which also meant you were seeing George more regularly too. You finally took him up on his offer of a date night, just the two of you. Not that you'd put a label on it or anything. You weren't the romantic type first of all, but you loved to love people.

The night of the Date had arrived, you chose to go pottery painting. A simple yet easy way to talk/get to know eachother more whilst also expressing your love for art. You worse baggy joggers with a loose fitted tee, paired with your crocs.

"Have fun, see you when you get home" Katie said with a warm smile

"I don't know why but I'm nervous" you chuckle

"It's normal, but you've known him for a few weeks now and you both seem to get along good, I'm sure there's nothing to be nervous about!" She reassures

You nod, collecting your bag; you head out the door. It was a late afternoonish date, it was only 5pm. But the place and activity just seemed more, fitting. You'd done all the drinking and glamour; now was time to see if George actually took an interest in you.

You arrive at the venue, it was a little shop based just off the corner of soho. You see George perched against the wall, looking visibly nervous.

"Hey Stranger" you call over to him, with a slight wave

"Ah you're here! It's nice to see you again" he says, giving you a hug

You enter the venue, giving the FOH your name and being seated at a table with multiple pottery objects that had been crafted. Your paint palette sat empty as you scanned colours.

"So, why pottery painting?" He questions, admiring the piece infront of him

"I just thought it was something different, plus I love anything artsy. I can sit for hours with my colouring books and not get bored, just wanted to see if you were really that interested in me" you say, squirting a little blob of blue onto your pallet

"That's fair, I love painting and colouring too, not so much as I did when I was in uni, because I never get chance to fully express my love anymore with work; but when you suggested it I can't lie, it refreshed me" he admits with a smile

"You used to paint?" You say, starting to paint a bowl

"Draw mostly, I sort of gained a knack for it, just little doodles and such you know?" He confessed

"I love that, it's nice to see someone be interested in stuff that I like too, not just for the sake of it" you chuckle

As the hours went on you and George talked, you got to know eachother more on a deeper level, the obvious flirting turned into you having a blue nose full of paint and George's cheek splatted with yellow. You couldn't quite place it, but being with George settled your mind. All the troubles you faced in your life became immediately muted when you were with him. Now you were kinda glad Chris fetched a double date that night.

You were allowed to take all of your paintings home, you'd crafted a bowl with the sky in awe of the northern lights, a mixture of green and blue marble layers; George had painted a plate with his love for doctor who in mind, the blue tones, the Tardis and not to mention his beloved sonic screwdriver; showing you how deeply George cared to be surrounded by you, enough to show off his nerdy side. George walked you home, letting you ramble on about silly things nobody would normally care about; but he did.

After a little walk you got back to your flat, the sky started to darken as the moon made its way out.

"Thanks for today, I really enjoyed it" you admit with a smile

"Yeah me too, it was nice to unwind for a change" he smiled

"When can I see you again?" You added, making the first move to arrange this time

"Whenever you want to, just call me and I'll be there" he says

You stare at his baby blue eyes for a little moment, in awe of the charming, sweet man infront of you.

"Can I kiss you?" He asks, a little hesitant

"I thought you'd never ask" you chuckle

You both lean in and lock lips, the kiss sweet and soft; taking in every moment of your beings. You pull away and look at eachother once more, your foreheads together.

"Goodnight George" you say softly

"Goodnight y/n" he replies

You both hug as he turns on his heels leaving, a sudden pang in your chest appears. You'd never felt more safe, than you did with him.

You get back into the flat to see a teary eyed Katie

"I knew I shouldn't have let him in!" She beckons as you open the door

"Woah, woah what's wrong?" You ask

"Chris! He's nothing but a liar!" She cries

Double the trouble with TWO mastermind aus!

Hi! This is the ask blog for the Xanvid Mastemind AU by @smudgesticksgonnasmudgingflip and the Whace Mastermind AU @ccrisntok

I go by many names but I'll likely refer to myself as Snek! And I use she/they pronouns! You can ask me stuff too or something! I'll likely be either a little doodle of either myself or snakevid lol ( @smudgesticksgonnasmudgingflip ) I'm using red because why not???

I also forgot to mention this, but there will be Xanteruvid- :p

I go by C or Chris, He/They, and I made the Whace dudes. Ask them whatever (nothing explicitly sexual, I myself am a minor, so keep that in mind.) You can ask actual serious lore for their stories/relationship, random bullshit, and of course silly crossover highjinx with the Xanvid guys. This is for fun! (I'm gonna talk in blue because that's Whit's main color.) My artsyle looks really fucking different bc I haven't posted on main in... months... but hey, here I am!

You can ask Whit and Ace stuff in my au exclusively, because other characters aren't changed much from cannon. You can ask about opinions on/relationships with canon characters though, and stuff like that.

Characters might end up being a little ooc at least for mine and I apologize for that - Snek

We might take a while to answer and I also apologize for that! (Both of us get burnt out really easily)

Also my style changes a lot as well as posing is hard so my drawing may not be that great...
