The epilogue story to this era of stories in Exandria being a love letter to Matt, as the architect of Exandria, from Brennan and Liam is so perfect.

Especially since Matt is always saying that this world is a gift from him to his friends, and yet he still consistently shies away from taking much credit for how incredible it is.

Like I’m so happy for him to have played Garen as this archetypal old dwarven smith because that’s what he loves playing and he did an incredible job, but it’s also so fitting for him to have been unknowingly the mortal form of the Exandrian god of creation, even more so with the understanding that the humble mortal life he led as Garen served as the keystone for the divine gate.

Also, Liam as Erro sacrificing himself to save Garen and then coming back later to collect him as his brother with the understanding that Exandria would be left in good hands after all their hard work… just beautiful, both in-game and with all the out-of-game context and poetry.

I desperately need Jean to find something that he loves and I want him to go do it alone. More specifically, I want him to fall in love with art museums. He loves the classic paintings and the statues. He lingers on the statue of Achilles and he thinks of Jeremy. A painting of a dark haired little girl reminds him of his little duck and he faintly smiles to himself. He stands in front of the Fallen Angel painting (1847) and he understands. The art never moves, never reaches for him, never leaves and he’s allowed to look for as long as he pleases.

I don't think Dorian wants the stewardship. I never thought he wanted the stewardship.

They're his characters and Robbie can do what he wants but when Dorian says "I'm free" it kills me inside because you can hear the relief but you can also hear the lingering dread of "for now".

And when orym asks about the future Dorian only wants "day by day" which is totally fine in the short term. But when time comes and his parents are old and grey and tired, will he return? He is next in line. Will his parents do their damnedest to stay alive as long as possible so Dorian can be free for as long as he can? Will Dorian come home and gently coax the stewardship from them when they are no longer fit?
