El lenguaje utilizado en Moisés y Aarón es notablemente personal. Se mantiene alejado de los ritmos y la tonalidad de la Biblia de Lutero. El 5 de agosto de 1930, Schönberg escribió a Berg: «Soy de la opinión de que el lenguaje de la Biblia es el alemán medieval, el cual, siendo oscuro para nosotros, debería utilizarse a lo sumo par dar color; y eso es algo que no necesito». Por encima de todo, cada palabra alemana, ya sea en el Sprechgesang (canto declamatorio), en el canto directo o en la declaración coral, encaja de forma única y precisa en el contexto musical. La letra no está menos durchkomponiert («plenamente compuesta, musicalizada») que la música. Esto es lo que hace que cualquier decisión de producir el Moisés y Aarón en inglés resulte tan descaminada. Alterar las palabras –su cadencia, su énfasis, sus tonalidades–, tal como ha de hacerse en la traducción, equivale a alterar las relaciones tonales o la orquestación en una pieza de la música clásica.

favourite royal mistress: inês de castro (1325-1355)

Inês de Castro hailed from the Galician region of Iberia that bordered Portugal. She was born in 1325 to Pedro Fernández de Castro, Lord of Lemos and Sarria, and his mistress Aldonça Lourenço de Valadares. In 1340 Inês travelled to Portugal as a lady in waiting to her newly married cousin Constanza of Castile. The diplomatic match with Infante Pedro of Portugal, the heir of King Afonzo IV of Portugal, was contracted to improve the strength of relations between Castile and Portugal. Pedro's mother, Queen Beatriz, was the youngest legitimate daughter of King Sancho IV of Castile. Pedro swiftly fell in love with Inês, and he neglected his wife, and this unsurprisingly angered the Castilians, they had begun an affair that didn't remain a secret for long. In January 1355, Inês was forcibly removed from court while Pedro was away hunting. She was taken to the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha in Coimbra. She had an emotional interview with the king, which evidently failed to dissuade him from killing her. On January 7 1355, his henchmen Diogo Lopes Pacheco, Pêro Coelho and Álvaro Gonçalves decapitated her in front of one, maybe both, of her and Pedro's small children. It is said that Pedro exhumed Inês' body from its grave in Coimbra and that he had her dressed, crowned and placed on the throne for her coronation.

Cousins in a tub.

1989, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Gloria Fernández (15) was working with her cousin Irma Beatriz Girón (21) in her house, they had a flower arrangement little business. She had a fever so they called a doctor on April 14, he prescribed some antibiotics and left. Gloria took two pills according to what was found later.

On Sunday, April 16, a neighbor came across a terrible smell and called the police.

The corpses were found in the bathtub severely decomposed, the presence of cadaveric fauna made the investigators believe they were dead for about 20 days, but only 2 days before they were seen by the doctor and other neighbors.

This case remained a mistery for several years until it was reopened. Turns out that Irma's boyfriend worked at a serpentarium. His reasons are unknown, but he injected both cousins with black mamba's venom, a species present at his workplace. Due to accelerated necrosis, the bodies were left almost unrecognisable just after 48hs. Irma's boyfriend is still a fugitive.

good morning and thanks for choosing to listen to fm polvorona on your way to work! we have impending news from last night. our ship conductor miss beatriz 'perfect' fernández posted a picture with paul thin in the piso sobao, alluding to the fact that, despite him tweeting yesterday morning that he finally got an apartment, he continues to be the final o of the piso sobao (o as in okupa = squatter). later pictures from bea's second in command, miss salma 'mother' díaz confirmed álvaro mayo was also in the house.

later in the night we received videos filmed in the popular bresh club in madrid with the sobaos + almendras (alex + denna) on stage partying. well, almost all sobaos. álvaro mayo, as well as paul thin, were nowhere to be found. sometimes absence is louder than proof.

Cuando hablamos de masculinidades alternativas o nuevas, nos referimos a una manera de ser hombre igualitaria, feminista, plenamente respetuosa de la diversidad y capaz de aceptar y valorar la propia idiosincrasia, tal vez divergente del modelo heteronormativo tradicional. Una apuesta vital que exige también un cambio de actitud frente a otros hombres, el reconocimiento de la pluralidad masculina, de las múltiples opciones vitales y sexuales, y un claro compromiso contra el machismo, la homofobia y la transfobia. Por eso es primordial que cada vez sean más los individuos dispuestos a cuestionar el modelo tradicional de masculinidad, a liberarse de las cargas de su hegemonía y a comprometerse activamente en la construcción de una sociedad renovada de personas más libres, sensibles e intuitivas, sin miedo a escuchar, a cuidar, a dar y recibir.

Nuestro objetivo con esta publicación es ofrecer un espacio abierto a las múltiples miradas que desbordan lógicas patriarcales y binarias, un pequeño impulso teórico que ayude a articular las transformaciones sociales inherentes al cuestionamiento de la masculinidad tradicional. Queremos contribuir a la liberación de los hombres atrapados por el muro de exigencias de la masculinidad hegemónica, a menudo violenta y autodestructiva, para que puedan integrarse en un mundo más igualitario y respetuoso. Aquí va nuestro agujero, nuestra fisura con voluntad deconstructiva.
