never changing [ five hargreeves x reader ]
a/n: hi y’all! it’s been a hot minute since i’ve been on here, but after the absolute shit show that season 4 was, some sparks ignited in me to write up anything to take my mind off it 🙌
its not anything crazy, just fluff and banter since i haven’t written anything in years so it may be as poorly redacted as this season lmao
summary: five and y/n attend their niece birthday party together, yet separate
Tumblr media
“Happy birthday, little Gracie!” You smiled widely, trying not to drop the wrapped present box as the six year old girl jumped into your arms, “Oh my gosh, look at you! You’re just getting prettier by day, aren’t you?”
You had just got off work in a hurry to make your appearance at the little girl’s birthday party at a decent time, in spite of the amount of paperwork you managed to bury yourself in lately. You knew how much it would have meant for the celebrated one to show up and you couldn’t bear to let her down, especially on her birthday.
After spending most of your life working for the Commission, and then a decent amount of time exhausting yourself in trying to stop multiple Apocalypses, your last six years have been pretty quiet as a lawyer. You really wanted to get out of the whole assassin thing, but at the same time couldn’t exactly move on from the thrill of the work field. Your career as a lawyer took off really well these past years, but inevitably it came along with the cost of always being stuck at work, so whenever your niece got the chance to see you, she was truly enthusiastic.
“Auntie Y/N!” She wrapped her tiny arms around your neck, engulfing you into a tight hug, “You are here!”
Nonetheless, these six years have been truly and undeniably the most peaceful time of your life for as long as you could remember.
“You literally saw each other the other day,” Five raised a brow, watching you and the celebrated one act as if you hadn’t seen each other in years.
You and the little girl shared a look, before rolling your eyes and turning to glare at the man next to you. Ever since Grace learned how to talk, you and her would gang up on her uncle for your amusement, especially since he was so keen on entertaining the banter.
These past six year have gone by in the blink of an eye, yet at the same time at a slow and steady pace. You spent most of your time working anyway, but still kept in touch with the seven siblings you’d grown to love.
Some in different ways than others.
“Uncle Five, you’re always more excited than me to see Aunt Y/N,” Gracie waved him off, making you burst out laughing, “Jealousy isn’t a good look on you anyway.”
“What is a good look on him anyway?” You smirked, making the little girl laugh, as Five swept her into his arms;
“Okay, munchkin, it’s your birthday today, but tomorrow I’m going back to bullying you,” He joked, causing you both to laugh, before the two shared a hug before you, “You’re lucky your gift has no return policy.”
The party had already started by the time you made it there. The playground was huddled by other kids around Grace’s age, along with their parents. The music was playing loudly over the laughter of children and you were pretty sure that most of the family had already arrived. It was not the most ideal gathering, but you tried your best to keep in touch with most of the family to your best capabilities.
“Y/N, I’m so glad you could make it!” Luther smiled, appearing from the crowd of guests, immediately giving you a big hug as his niece was still wrapped around Five, “Haven’t seen you since Thanksgiving!”
“Big shot lawyer doesn’t always have the time to stay in touch with family, huh?” Diego teased you, following suit, as you rolled your eyes, dropping off his daughter’s gift in his hands.
“Big shot delivery driver doesn’t know the phone works both ways, huh?” You smirked, putting your hands on your hips.
Diego laughed out loud as he gave you a hug, always in the mood for a back and forth short banter with you. After all, you truly were family, even if you didn’t always have the time to be present in the Hargreeves’ day to day lives. You may have met them in the original timeline in 2019, when you accidentally time traveled with your former partner at the Commission, Five, but after all you’ve been through, you didn’t need to have grown up together or be blood related to be considered that. And you truly were grateful for each and every single one of them, in spite of the many differences over the years.
After everything that’s happened six years ago at Hotel Oblivion, everyone went their separate ways. Allison was back with her daughter while trying to further her acting career and also help Klaus stay on the sober line, Viktor had moved to Canada where he opened a bar, Diego and Lila had three kids, Luther was “professionally dancing”, Ben had some run-ins with the law and Five, ironically enough, was working for the CIA.
“Well, you two are as annoying as always,” Ben told you and his brother, making Diego roll his eyes as he walked towards the gift table to set down your present.
“Please try to stay out of prison at least for the remainder of the year,” You joked with the man, making him roll his eyes as he hugged you loosely, “There’s only so much favors I could owe the DA.”
“Shut the fuck up,” Ben groaned, “I don’t even know why they let you work at the law firm since you still look like a prepubescent with no boobs. Even Five got a growth spurt.”
“I sized up to B recently, thank you very much,” You nudged his shoulder, before placing your hands on your chest in an offended manner.
“Okay, Gracie, not a conversation you’d wanna hear,” Five spoke up, putting his niece down, “Your aunt needs to learn some etiquette on how to act around children.”
“Funny coming from you,” You couldn’t help but wave him off.
You didn’t come in with Five at the party, but as fate had it, you did run into him as you were parking your car. He had just gone out to his brother’s dusty van to bring inside some more cookies for the guests. You kept in touch with him as well, but not as often as you would have liked. It’s not all that serious, but given the fact that you were a lawyer still climbing your way to the top and him being a top notch CIA agent, you didn’t exactly have the time to hang out.
At least, not as much as you’d have liked.
Five was watching you with a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips, and his hands in his pockets. He had the same look on his face as always when watching you. He had the same smile when he saw you in combat for the first time during your first mission for the Commission together, the same look in his eyes when you appeared for the first time in 2019 alongside him in your teen bodies. The same posture he had when he met you again in 1963 after months of not seeing each other.
He wore the same love on his face while looking at you when you and the siblings split up after the events at Oblivion.
And never once did you notice that.
Not once in these past six years you let your feelings surface.
“You know Grace is my niece too, right?” He couldn’t drop the small smile even if he wanted to.
“Since when are you such a family man?” You raised a brow, trying to keep a confident composure.
“Oh, something changed in me between the first and third time I traded the world for my siblings,” He lightly shrugged his shoulders, making you roll your eyes at the sarcastic remark.
You two never changed.
“Please, I was there for the twins birth,” You waved him off.
You rarely see Five, and even when you do you always try to act normal, as you do around the rest of the Hargreeves. Everyone tried to get you two together at first, since the apocalypse was over and there was no reason for you to not get together, right?
You really wished it was that easy. In hindsight, maybe it was. But you couldn’t take any chances in losing Five forever if something were to go wrong. Maybe some would see it as something stupid, or as if you wasted so many years, but to you- mentally, you were almost seventy, while physically nineteen. You had so much time ahead of you now, all that mattered was to get a stable career first.
Five let a chuckle escape, shaking his head in disbelief, as he looked at the floor for a couple of seconds. When he looked back at you, you tried to keep your composure. You couldn’t help but feel pathetic that after all these years, your heart still skipped a beat whenever he’d look at you.
“You’re doing that thing again where you forget that some other people are still around, guys,” Luther raised his hand, grabbing your attention once again.
“I got bored of watching seventy year old virgins,” Ben shrugged his shoulders, “I’m gonna go get shitfaced.”
“Always a delight seeing you, Benjamin,” Five said, as Luther followed the ex-tentacle boy suit to make re he was not about to actually get drunk;
“This is a six year old’s birthday party!”
You giggled, watching the two brothers speed away while arguing amongst the kids in the crowd. When your eyes laid back on Five, who was intently watching you, you couldn’t help but feel a small blush creep its way in your cheeks.
“What?”
“Nothing.”
“Spit it out, Hargreeves.”
“I said it’s nothing!”
“Fuck you.”
“Why?”
You watched him dumbfounded for a couple of seconds because of the only answer he could come up with, before walking away, hoping he would follow you.
When he did try to keep up with you, you looked away to hide the proud smile. Even after all these years, things were still the same with him. He was still so eager to spend time with you, he was still smiling at you and entertaining your conversation.
“Aunt Y/N, Uncle Five, come play in the ball pit!” Gracie ushered you from afar, already tucked in the plastic colorful balls.
“You heard the birthday girl!” You smiled, grabbing his hand to drag Five after you.
Even after all these years he would instantly lock his fingers with yours.

The final light of day flashed through the Head Boy’s dorm room. It cast a honeyed glow around you for only a moment before pitching the whole world into blackness. When the sun disappeared behind the mountains along the edge of Hogwarts, it was always a very quick descent to dark. It wasn’t very gradient, just sudden.
Almost as soon as the light had dissipated, the door flew open, nearly hitting the stone wall behind it. You shot up from the bed you were lounging on. A chilled wind blew in from the hallway, sending wild flickers through the fire in the corner.
“Tom,” you breathed.
The man in question stood in the doorway, fuming silently. His jaw was clenched and ticking, his eyes dark and frenzied. You swallowed thickly at the animalistic energy pouring off of his body. What had happened?
He slammed the door shut behind him, a slight flinch shocking through your body at the loud sound. He stomped across the room, barely paying you any mind. He came to a stop in front of the blazing fireplace. His hands began roughly ripping some papers. You got to your feet.
“Tom?” you called gently, waltzing over to him. Your hands reached out to press a comforting touch to him when he turned abruptly.
“What?” he growled. You stepped back, dropping your hands immediately. He had never looked at you like this before. The fire in his eyes nearly reflected the blaze within the stone in front of you.
“I–I’m sorry, I was just…”
“Darling, I’m sorry,” he sighs, blowing air through his nose. “It’s been a rough day.”
“What happened?” you asked, stepping closer to him again. You wanted to comfort him. A small groan leaves him as he tosses the remains of the shredded papers into the flames. Your eyes flickered to the fiery confetti, wondering what it once had been.
“What was that?” you ask, finally coming to place your hands on his shoulders.
“Nothing, do not worry yourself with matters of the Knights,” he whispered.
“What can I do to help?” you ask, staring up at him with such quiet adoration. His eyes found yours, basking in the innocence pooled within them. He could hardly bear to see you so concerned with him, especially when his anger came from such a vile source. Those pathetic boys tried to impress him by insisting they’d found new information for him and presented it before the whole group. They’d laid out more information of his lowly bringing-up, discussing new details about his mother they may have found.
He’d slammed his fists on the table, demanding to know why they’d been looking into his family history. They had immediately snapped their jaws shut, unsure how to respond. Perhaps they’d thought he’d be happy with them for finding more information on his parents. He couldn’t care any less about his worthless parents. All he cared about was his plans. He thought that had been obvious, but apparently, these boys had thought otherwise. He was in a mind to completely expel them from the group and obliviate them.
“My love,” he whispered, placing a gentle but firm hand beneath her jaw. He’d never loved, and he never would. You knew this well and accepted it for what it was—you and Tom weren’t ‘dating,’ but he was yours, and you were his. It wasn’t necessarily love, but it was in your own way. You couldn’t really explain it, but you both felt it.
“I need you, darling,” he whispered against your ear, placing his lips to the skin there. You felt the electricity humming beneath his flesh. Your lips shuddered a bit in anticipation. You nodded, accepting him into you.
That was all he needed to roughly grab your face and press hot, fast kisses to you. He satiated his every need against your tongue, taking what he wanted. You sighed against his lips, feeling the way he shattered you and held you together.
He walked you back to his bed and let you fall down against it. He kept you pinned beneath his weight, his hands hungry and wanting. They gripped and spared you, leaving hard, peppered bruises in their wake. He was always rough with you, fucking and biting and choking. He didn’t make love, and you didn’t want him to. You’d come to him for the dark passion he exuded through his body. If you’d wanted something gentle, you’d have looked around Hufflepuff. That wasn’t an insult to your house, of course. You just knew exactly what you wanted.
His hands came up to rip the front of your shirt open, ignoring the way a button or two flung across the room. He’d get you a new shirt later. A low groan sounded in his throat as his fingers tightened around your breasts, kneading them with his long, deft fingers. He placed his face against your chest, inhaling deeply and pressing painful bruises on you. You whined at the feeling, beckoning him away from your pained skin.
“Shut up. I’ll do what I want,” he growled, continuing to mark you as painfully as before. His sharp teeth seared into your flesh, pulling blood to the surface and occasionally past it. When he finally pulled away, a small drop of bloodied saliva dripped from his lips as if in slow motion. You sighed at the visual, the heat beginning to pool rapidly between your legs.
He crawled up your body, quickly unbuckling and pushing his belt through the loops in his trousers. When it was free, he slid the button through its slit and shoved his pants down to his knees. He dropped his bottoms and released himself against his stomach. The hot skin was reddened and beating with his heart. You gasped at the sight, wanting to feel him within you so desperately.
“You know what to do,” he groaned. He curled fingers into your hair, roughly shoving your face toward him. You glanced up at him through your eyelashes, watching as he panted in anticipation. His pupils were blown wide, and his lips were parted, a hint of your blood still tattooed over his perfectly white teeth. Fuck, he looked gorgeous.
As your tongue came forth to swipe over his length as slowly as he’d allow you to, you realized you wouldn’t be finishing with him anytime soon. He intended to go as far as you could and then some. The anger built up in his chest was enough for seven men, and he loved nothing more than taking it out on you.
“Ah, you perfect fucking girl,” he groaned as you took him completely into your mouth. Despite his size, you did your best to push him to the very back of your throat, allowing him to caress you in places you’d never been touched before. His hands were tight against your scalp, forcing you to stay completely still as he bucked his hips into you. It wasn’t comfortable at all, but the feeling of being able to please him had you staying planted in place.
“You always take me so well,” he sighed, head angled toward the ceiling. Your thighs pressed so tightly together you thought they might combust. He was so perfect. “No one like you, no one like you, no one like you…” He mumbled endlessly, pushing those words into your brain.
You wanted him so badly—all you could think about was him. All you could see, smell, hear, taste was him. He surrounded you, forcing you to take him in every way you could. Every sense was blinded by him. And that was just how he liked you—drowning in him.
He pulled you from him before he could finish. He wanted to finish within you, just as he always did. You knew him well enough to turn yourself around and ready yourself to accept him. He tended to follow a bit of a pattern when fucking you, one you’d started to catch on to. He never had to ask you for anything anymore; you just did it.
He flipped your skirt over your ass, revealing the lack of bottoms beneath. Another groan left his lips as he placed his fingers over you, working every part of you apart like clockwork. He moved you open, lathering you in your arousal, marking your insides with his claim.
When he removed his hand from you and placed both of them on your hips, you bit your arm, preparing for him to split you down the middle. No matter how often the two of you had sex, you seemed to never adjust to his size. He always had to move as slowly as he could to work you apart gently. Perhaps you were a bit more sensitive down there than others, but he was always patient. Except for today, it seemed.
With little more than a brief hesitation at the start, he slid himself into you all in one go. A strangled gasp left you at the feeling. He wasted no time beginning to pound himself into you. He cared nothing of the pathetic whines and screams coming from your lips. Your hands white-knuckled the sheets as you begged him to slow down, to be gentler, anything. He didn’t fucking care. He wrapped a hand into your hair, using it as a bit of leverage. He was going to take out every bit of pent-up frustration on this tight cunt.
“Fuck, Slytherin!” you shrieked, the tears beginning to roll down your cheeks. He stopped immediately, his hips halting inside you. As if he was in a daze, Tom blinked rapidly and shook his head a bit. It felt as though he had been under a spell, the way he had been fucking into you.
“Fuck, I’m sorry,” he whispered. He gently pulled himself out of you, a pitiful whine leaving your lips. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry…”
Hearing him say those words alone was enough to convince him how serious the situation was. Tom didn’t say sorry unless it was to a professor or to generally get someone off of his back. Usually, it was fake. This time, it wasn’t, and it rushed out of his lips before he could stop it.
He gently wrapped himself around you, slowly turning you and laying you back against his pillows. He kicked his pants down the rest of his legs and slipped the both of you beneath his comforter.
The cool green satin pressed softly against your hot skin, softly soothing it. He laid himself down behind you, his soft breath barely tickling the hairs on the back of your neck. Hesitantly, his hand slid over your stomach. It seemed as though he wasn’t sure exactly how to comfort you, but was trying his best.
“Darling?” he whispered against your back.
“I’m sorry, I just—”
“Don’t ever apologize to me,” he said. “I’m sorry that I…I shouldn’t have been so rough with you.”
A soft sigh left you. You’d never had to use your safe word with Tom before—had never even wanted to. Every aspect of the way Tom fucked had always intrigued you. The ways he handled you as if you were nothing to him but an outlet for his pleasure, the way he insisted on doing everything, the way he was genuinely concerned about your pleasure, despite himself. It often left you breathless.
Tonight, however, had been different. You felt less than you usually did when beneath him. Usually it was a nice feeling; like you were smaller, something for him to take care of. But tonight you’d felt pure hatred coursing through his body. You were scared that it was directed toward you.
“It’s not that, Tom,” you sighed. “I was worried that you were angry with me.”
His hands gently wrapped around you and helped you to turn toward him. His eyes watched you sternly. He wanted to put any affection that had built up inside him completely into you.
“I have never been angry with you—I was angry with my worthless fucking followers, always insisting they ruin my life in the most embarrassing ways possible.”
“Why would they do that?” You gasped, shocked that they’d even think of doing such a thing.
“They think that they’re helping or something,” he scoffed, jaw clenching. You could feel the anger radiating off of him.
“I’m so sorry,” you sigh, slipping your eyes shut. “I hope I didn’t upset you further—it was just a bit too much, I suppose.”
He nods understandingly, saying nothing more. The quiet and safety you felt when with Tom had you falling into a particularly deep sleep. Though you tried to fight it off, you could feel Tom’s eyes on you, watching as you slowly drifted off.
The last thing you remembered before slipping fully into sleep was Tom’s hand gently against your cheek, his cold thumb caressing a hair away from your face.

Honey love, dark eyes
Tumblr media
♡ Chapter three ♡
Summary: Life seems to smooth out with Travis, but an encounter with another Miller stirs your feelings again. Joel comes home at night, and a box waits for him at the kitchen. Word count: 4.8k A/N: Here is a shorter chapter (compared to the previous ones lol) while we're waiting for part 4… Can't wait for the Hoffman's barbecue. Joel isn't usually enthusiastic about it, but something tells me he's not going to miss it this time. ALSO, I have tried to tag all of you, but for some reason some tags don't work, if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know <3.
October 17th. The first thing you discovered was a black sweatshirt, crumpled and forgotten, stuffed in the back of your closet among old clothes and memories. You tossed it into the washing machine and set off to search your house for more of Joel’s things. It didn’t take long to find remnants of him: an old Pearl Jam T-shirt, a white mug bearing his initial that you’d pilfered a few months prior, a couple of CDs with his eclectic taste in music, a well-worn paperback novel, and a screwdriver—the very tool you had used to assemble the small piece of furniture for your bathroom, a testament to your attempts at domesticity.
You placed the T-shirt beside the sweatshirt in the washing machine, feeling a bittersweet nostalgia wash over you as the machine began to spin, the water swirling like your thoughts. The rest of his belongings you carefully set aside in a wooden box, considering when and if you would return them to him. Maybe it would be a gesture of goodwill, a way to close a chapter, but the thought of confronting him felt daunting, like standing on the edge of a cliff.
Three weeks later, the distance felt like a weight in your chest. You hadn’t spoken since that last conversation, and every accidental encounter with him had turned into a delicate dance of avoidance, your eyes darting away as if to shield yourself from the unspoken pain. You suspected he was doing the same—his awareness of your schedule precise, his movements deliberate. You didn’t blame him for it; there was a strange gratitude in the space he had created between you, a sanctuary that allowed both of you to breathe.
Sarah, on the other hand, was a constant presence in your life, her visits frequent and welcome. You couldn’t decipher what Joel had shared with her, but she was unequivocal in her understanding that something had shifted between you and her father.
“Dad said I can come see you as long as I don’t ask too many questions and I don’t fall asleep,” she announced brightly the first afternoon she bounded into your home, just two days after your last exchange with Joel. “But I want you to know I won’t say anything if you want to tell me everything.”
Her offer was a balm, and despite the lingering pain, you found yourself laughing, the weight lifting slightly as you embraced her. In that moment, you felt relieved to know that Joel had managed to compartmentalize, that his daughter was not to bear the burden of your heartbreak, nor was she responsible for the fallout. You wanted to continue seeing Sarah, and thankfully, she wanted to keep coming over, a small beacon of normalcy in a turbulent time. That connection remained untainted by the rift between you and Joel.
The clock ticked on, and now it was five o’clock on a crisp afternoon. You stood in your front yard, the late autumn sun warming the back of your neck as you surveyed your plants. Closing your eyes, you savored the gentle warmth, the way it wrapped around you like a familiar embrace. Your lawn and those of your neighbors glowed with the fiery hues of orange and yellow, leaves fluttering like confetti in the soft breeze. It was, as always, your favorite season.
Suddenly, a voice broke through your reverie, calling your name. You turned to see Travis crossing the street, his smile brightening the drab fall afternoon. You waved back, unable to suppress a smile of your own as he approached.
“Enjoying the sunshine?” he asked, stopping beside you, his hand settling on your waist as he leaned in to plant a soft kiss on your cheek.
“As much as I can,” you replied, a warmth spreading through you that was both comforting and surprising. Your gaze dropped momentarily to your feet before lifting back to meet his. “Going somewhere?”
“On a quest for dessert,” he said, a playful glint in his eyes. “Care to join?”
You hesitated, considering for a moment. “I’d better stay and get some work done,” you replied, gesturing toward your front door with a tilt of your head. “But let me know when you get back; I’d love to help with dinner.”
He nodded, a flicker of disappointment passing across his face before he masked it with a smile. After a brief goodbye, he left, giving your waist a gentle squeeze that sent a flutter through your stomach, leaving you feeling both elated and unsettled.
Two weeks prior, you had watched him run past your house, clad in sports gear, hair damp with sweat. There was something magnetic about him; he looked so effortlessly good that a rush of something—determination? Recklessness?—had surged through you. You couldn’t let your past with Joel hold you hostage any longer. It was absurd to keep Travis waiting, simply because you hadn’t been sure of what you felt, or how you should feel. So, you had gathered your courage and knocked on his door, your heart racing at the thought of stepping out of the shadows of your previous life.
When Travis opened the door, his surprise morphing into delight had made your resolve solidify. You’d admitted to him that you were navigating a rough patch, and to his credit, he seemed to understand without pressuring you further. That night, he whisked you away for dinner, and in the weeks that followed, the ease of your time together became a welcome reprieve.
He was everything you needed—funny, honest, and refreshingly straightforward. He laid his feelings out without demanding anything from you, giving you space to breathe, to recalibrate. You had shared meals together, enjoying his company, indulging in laughter and sweet treats that he always brought, knowing they were your guilty pleasure.
With him, everything felt uncomplicated, and the more time you spent together, the more you sensed your feelings beginning to shift, like the autumn leaves around you. That night, you resolved to let him make the first move, ready to embrace whatever came next.
*
“What did you think?” Travis asked, his gaze lingering on you, as if the answer might reveal something bigger.
You let out a laugh, the kind that builds in the chest and escapes before you can decide whether it’s actually funny or just absurd. “That was… utterly ridiculous,” you said, watching the movie credits roll up the screen. “Ridiculous and completely unbelievable.”
He grinned, sinking back into the couch beside you, his eyes meeting yours with a glint of shared amusement. “Right? It’s like... a marvel in chaos. Terrible, but in a way that you can’t look away.”
You raised an eyebrow, feeling a mix of disbelief and fondness for his strange taste in movies. Zombeavers. He’d made you watch Zombeavers—a movie so bizarrely nonsensical that you couldn’t help but laugh half the time, its zombie-beaver puppets meant to be terrifying but only succeeding in being bizarre. He’d assured you beforehand that it was purely for fun, the kind of film that didn’t demand to be taken seriously, and you’d been dubious but willing.
As your laughter softened, you shifted just a little closer to him, that familiar but thrilling nervousness making your heart flutter. Travis had turned his attention to scrolling through movie options, his fingers lightly tapping the remote as he concentrated. For a brief moment, you hesitated, wondering if it was obvious—how close you were, how much you wanted him to notice. Gathering your courage, you rested your head on his shoulder, letting your gaze drift up to his face just as he glanced down, his eyes softening.
“Are you sleepy, pretty girl?” he murmured, and his voice had that gentle, familiar warmth that made you feel like a teenager again. Your cheeks flushed, and you wondered if he could feel your pulse quicken against him.
“No,” you replied, your voice barely more than a whisper as you smiled up at him. Tentatively, you lifted a hand to trace the line of his jaw, your fingers grazing his skin as you tilted his face closer. “I just like being with you.”
Travis’s smile deepened, and he leaned in, his hand cradling your face with such tenderness that it nearly broke something in you. His lips met yours softly, a gentle touch, unhurried and respectful, his thumb brushing lightly across your cheek. You sank into the kiss, letting it ground you, feeling cherished and safe in a way you hadn’t for a long time.
But there, at the edge of your mind, was Joel. Joel with his intense, almost possessive hunger, the way he’d kiss you as if he were afraid he’d never have the chance again. That rawness, the recklessness—it was such a stark contrast to Travis’s gentle control, his restraint. And part of you hated yourself for even thinking about it, for craving something so reckless, for missing what you knew wasn’t good for you.
You pulled back slowly, afraid that your eyes might betray the swirl of conflicting feelings inside you. Travis’s gaze lingered, his hand still on your cheek, and he seemed almost reluctant to let you go, waiting for you to guide him back in. His patience was admirable, though you felt a strange frustration at the lack of urgency, the careful distance he maintained.
“I’m actually a little tired,” you said, giving him a quick peck on the lips, hoping he wouldn’t see through the slight restlessness in your eyes. “But I’d love to see you tomorrow. How about dinner at my place?”
He nodded, his face brightening. “Sounds perfect.” He stood, reaching out a hand to help you up. “I’ll walk you to your door, and that's just an excuse for another goodnight kiss.”
You laughed, reaching for his hand and letting him pull you up, feeling the warmth of his arm around you as you leaned against him. Outside, the air was brisk, the night cool against your skin, and you wished you’d thought to bring a jacket. Not that it mattered much; Travis lived just across the block, a short walk away, but close enough to Joel’s house that the proximity always felt strange.
Crossing the street, you noticed Joel’s truck wasn’t there, and you willed yourself not to dwell on it, tuning back in to Travis’s voice as he asked, “Are you going?”
You blinked, caught off guard. “Going where?” you asked, your voice apologetic. “Sorry, I zoned out for a second.”
“To the Hoffmans’ barbecue,” he said easily, unbothered by your momentary distraction.
Ah, the Hoffmans’ annual Halloween gathering, an event known for Brenda’s culinary enthusiasm and Ian’s grill mastery. Last year, Brenda had baked an array of spooky treats—eyeball jellies, spider cupcakes, you name it. Sarah had devoured at least ten jelly eyes, and you’d indulged in an uncountable number of chocolate spiders. The evening had ended with a viewing of Nightmare on Elm Street, and everyone had left buzzing with laughter and sugar.
“Yes, of course,” you replied, nodding with more enthusiasm. “Wouldn’t miss it. Brenda is amazing at baking. Have you tried her red berry cupcakes?”
“They’re dangerous,” Travis agreed, grinning as he walked you up to your doorstep.
A flicker of movement caught your eye, and you glanced over to see Tommy, Joel’s brother, sitting on the front porch of Joel’s house, a cigarette hanging lazily from his fingers. He watched you with a friendly, knowing smile, and you couldn’t help but smile back, though you quickened your pace slightly as you reached your door.
“So, what time tomorrow?” Travis asked, tilting his head.
“Eight?” you suggested, feeling an odd mix of excitement and unease.
“Perfect,” he replied, and once again his hand lifted to your cheek, thumb tracing the curve softly. But as he leaned in to kiss you, you couldn’t shake the feeling of invisible eyes from across the street, watching. Your mind lingered, unbidden, on Tommy’s piercing gaze.
Travis leaned down, and you met his kiss, brief, almost rushed, pulling away with a small, nervous smile. “I’ll see you tomorrow,” you whispered, glancing up at him before stepping back. “Goodnight.”
“Goodnight, gorgeous,” he murmured.
You stood watching him leave, distractedly thinking about the evening you'd spent. You were annoyed that you hadn't accepted his date earlier, and at the same time, you didn't blame yourself too much.
When Travis walked into his house and closed the door, an involuntary sigh escaped your chest.
"Everything okay over there?" Tommy’s voice jolted you out of your thoughts, sounding like a splash of cold water. He was sitting on the front steps, watching you with a casual curiosity that somehow felt entirely too knowing.
You approached slowly, glancing toward the empty entrance of Joel’s house.
"Hey, Tommy," you greeted, a hint of melancholy coloring your voice. It was strange, seeing him here alone—another Miller, but not the one who lingered in your mind. "How are you?"
Tommy stubbed out his cigarette on the step, shrugging with a small grin. "Well, currently on a break from babysitting duty," he joked. "What about you? It’s been a while—what’d Joel do now?"
A chuckle slipped from your lips, the irony of it all making your stomach tighten. He probably didn’t know anything, yet he’d been part of Joel’s carefully built wall of deception. It made you feel odd, but you brushed the feeling aside.
"I've just been busy," you said, knowing how unconvincing it sounded.
Tommy nodded, understanding the subtext without question. "Right," he said, an amused smile forming, "So, Dunn got the girl?"
You couldn’t help but smile back, though you realized too late that your openness might be ill-placed. "Yeah. He’s a good man. I really like him."
It felt surreal, sharing this with Joel’s brother, but somehow you didn’t mind.
"Sarah’s asleep?" you asked, changing the subject, hoping for some distraction.
He nodded, his smile softening. "Out like a light right after dinner. Poor kid didn’t even try the ice cream she begged me to get for movie night." He chuckled, shaking his head.
You smiled at the image, letting yourself savor the thought of Sarah, the cozy living room, the quiet warmth that had always drawn you to this house. It felt bittersweet, like glimpsing a life you no longer fit into. The last time you’d been there flickered in your mind, and any warmth vanished.
When you glanced back at Tommy, he was watching you, brow furrowed slightly, as if trying to read what you weren’t saying.
"I don’t mean to pry," he began cautiously, his tone gentle. "But Joel’s been… well, intolerable lately. Can I ask what happened?"
You raised an eyebrow, a sardonic smile creeping onto your lips. "Sure, Tommy," you replied, a touch of sarcasm bleeding through. "He hasn’t told you anything?"
"Are you kidding?" He laughed, shaking his head. "I asked him once, a couple of days ago, and he practically bit my head off."
You let out a dry sigh, crossing your arms. "He lied to me, pretty sure you know about that," you said, feeling the weight of it again. "We argued, and… things just happened."
Tommy’s eyes widened slightly, but the look of surprise faded quickly, replaced by a knowing smile. He stood up, crossing his arms as he stepped closer, his gaze amused and unrelenting.
"I knew it," he said, his grin widening. "You two slept together."
Your mouth fell open, and you dropped your arms, an incredulous laugh escaping.
"Shut up," you muttered, taking a step forward, cheeks flushing.
Tommy laughed, as if this moment had been a long time coming. "I always knew it would happen," he said, his tone only half-joking. "Ever since Joel introduced you, I swear, the guy had heart eyes and all. Poor guy looked like he was about to carve your name into every tree from here to the city limits. It was almost embarrassing."
You shook your head, a pang of sadness pressing on your chest. "That’s not it, Tommy. That’s not… it’s not true."
He studied you, unconvinced, his brow furrowing slightly, though the amused glint remained in his eyes.
"Joel doesn’t want this. He doesn’t want… us," you continued, your voice quiet but certain. "And honestly, I don’t think I do either." The words tasted bitter even as you said them, yet you held his gaze, determined to mean it. "I think I might actually like Travis."
"I see." Tommy’s nod was slow, his eyes searching yours as if detecting the truth you weren’t quite hiding.
“Where is he?” The question slipped out before you could stop it, and you almost wished you could take it back. You shouldn’t be concerned about where Joel was spending his nights. But curiosity itched at you, demanding answers.
Tommy hesitated, rubbing his hand over his mouth, glancing off as if debating whether to answer. The pause made you anxious, and you shifted under his gaze, feeling exposed. "He, um, he went to see—"
"Sienna," you finished, the name coming out like a blade you hadn’t prepared for. Tommy’s nod confirmed it, and you felt it cut a little deeper than you’d anticipated.
The thought of Joel being with her after being with you twisted something fierce and raw inside. Yet, a part of you was oddly grateful for the pain; it reminded you just how little he’d been affected by all of this, how seamlessly he’d returned to life as it had been. Why should he have changed anything for one night? That didn’t mean enough to make him reconsider Sienna, his plans, his life without you. It was unbearable and somehow clarifying.
With your voice steadier than you expected, you looked back at Tommy. "Can you do me a favor?"
"Sure."
"Come with me for a second." You spun on your heel, heading toward your house, and you heard Tommy’s footsteps fall into step behind you. Inside, you gestured for him to wait in the foyer, then climbed the stairs, your heart pounding. A rush of resentment, of something close to fury, washed over you. You had to rid yourself of everything that still held you back to him, everything he’d left behind.
When you came back down, you were carrying a box, simple and impersonal. Tommy glanced at it, lifting an eyebrow. "What’s that?"
"A couple of Joel’s things. Be a dear and save me the trip of bringing them back to him." You smiled tightly, the effort to stay composed nearly exhausting you.
Tommy laughed, clearly amused by the defiance in your expression.
"Yes, ma’am," he said with a grin, giving you a small salute as he took the box. You watched him step over the threshold, the box in his hands, feeling a strange mix of relief and something hollow.
"Thank you, Tommy," you said softly, closing the door as he left. Alone in the quiet of your house, your shoulders slumped, and all the strength you’d gathered felt like it was leaking away, leaving behind the ache of realization. Joel wasn’t just far from you; he was unreachable, a memory already fading, three weeks stretching like an eternity between you and the friend he’d once been.
*
Joel opened the door slowly, shoulders slumped, his gaze dropping to the floor before he even stepped inside. The house was dark and quiet, as if it were waiting for him to finally fill it. He glanced around the empty living room, feeling the stillness of the space, then checked the time on his wristwatch: 11 p.m. It felt later than that, somehow.
“Tommy?” he called, his voice breaking the silence as he moved into the kitchen, where he found his brother, casually leaning against the counter with a bowl of ice cream, looking like he’d been waiting all night.
“How was your night?” Tommy asked, raising an eyebrow, his tone almost amused, as if he were privy to some unspoken secret.
Joel exhaled, the kind of tired sigh that settled deep in his chest, and dropped heavily into one of the wooden chairs at the table. He rubbed a hand across his forehead, dragging it down over his mouth before resting it on the table, the weariness of the day palpable in the lines of his face. His eyes met Tommy’s probing gaze, and he tilted his head, frowning slightly.
“Fine,” he replied, his tone clipped and a little defensive. “How was Sarah?”
“She conked out right after dinner,” Tommy replied, a smirk beginning to play at the corners of his mouth, his eyes narrowing with that look of brotherly mischief. “And how was Sienna?”
Joel rolled his eyes, leaning back in the chair, shaking his head as if he could shake off the whole conversation.
“Are you staying over?” he asked after a few beats, redirecting, his voice carefully casual.
Tommy chuckled. “Only if you, sir, will permit me,” he replied with a mock salute.
“Fine,” Joel muttered, getting up from his seat. “Do what you want, but don’t be a pain in my ass,” he added, half-serious, half-amused, as he walked over to the counter beside his brother.
He pulled open the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water. Tommy watched him, saying nothing, but his gaze lingered, curious, perceptive. Joel poured water into a glass, bringing it to his lips, pausing for a long drink before turning to face his brother. He could feel Tommy’s gaze boring into him, the silence thickening between them.
Joel looked up, his own gaze steady.
“What?” he asked, the word flat, all pretense of patience gone.
“Nothing,” Tommy said, drawing the word out, clearly testing the limits of Joel’s patience. Then, almost too casually, he tilted his chin toward a box resting by the wall across the kitchen.
Joel followed his gaze, his brow furrowing as he walked over. He lifted the box, feeling the weight of it in his hands, then set it down on the counter. With a cautious look at Tommy, he placed his hands on the lid, hesitating.
“What’s this?” he asked, a note of suspicion in his voice.
Tommy leaned back, watching him with a faint smile playing at the edges of his mouth.
“Your girl next door gave it to me,” he replied, each word almost too measured. “Said it was yours.”
For a few moments, Joel just stood there, as if frozen, processing Tommy’s words. He looked down, finally lifting the lid and peering inside. There, neatly folded, was his sweatshirt—the one he’d handed you one chilly evening when he picked you up from work. Beneath that was his old Pearl Jam t-shirt, the one you’d borrowed after a swim in his pool last summer. His favorite coffee mug sat tucked in the corner, along with a few CDs, a dog-eared paperback he’d loaned you weeks ago. Each item seemed to carry its own little echo of the time he’d spent with you.
After a few seconds, Joel placed the lid back on the box, sliding it away from him with a muted thud. He kept his expression steady, but his jaw was set, and his eyes remained fixed on the counter.
“When did she give it to you?” he asked, his voice strained but steady.
“A few moments ago,” Tommy said with a shrug, holding back a smirk as he noticed the tightness in Joel’s expression. “Saw her walking back from Dunn’s house, actually.”
Joel let out a dry, sardonic laugh, a smile twisted in disbelief. "Right. Of course."
"Actually," Tommy said, savoring another spoonful of ice cream, "he walked her to the door, all sweet-like. Gave her the whole mushy goodnight routine—kiss, movie shit." His gaze stayed fixed on the bowl, though Joel could see the glint of mischief there, Tommy barely holding back a grin.
Joel’s fingers drummed on the counter, his gaze hardening. “Good for her,” he muttered.
Tommy didn’t look up, just continued with his ice cream, though there was a glint of amusement in his eyes. “Sure she looked that way to me.”
“Like I care,” Joel muttered, his gaze fixed hard on the box beside him, fingers curling against the edge as if steadying himself. “I can bet everything I’ve got she doesn’t even like him that much. That guy isn’t worth it, and she knows it.”
Tommy’s mouth quirked with amusement as he leaned back against the counter.
“Too bad that’s not up to you,” he said, casually pushing Joel’s buttons, almost like he enjoyed watching his brother’s patience fray. “She looked happy. And for what it’s worth, in her own words, she does like him.”
Joel’s frown deepened, his eyes narrowing as he glared at Tommy, as if by sheer force he could undo his brother’s last statement. “Wait—you asked her? Tommy, you better not be going around—”
“Relax,” Tommy cut in, hands raised in mock surrender, though there was still a hint of smugness in his expression. “We just had a small conversation, okay? Didn’t even mention you.”
Joel let out a sharp, bitter laugh, though his face betrayed a flicker of something raw. His fingers tapped the box, restless and resentful, as if it were the box’s fault for bringing up everything he didn’t want to admit. Then, his voice low and clipped, he gestured to the countertop. “Clean this up when you’re done,” he said, his tone rough. “And don’t piss me off.”
Without another word, Joel turned on his heel and headed for the stairs, each step heavy and quick, like he couldn’t get away fast enough. The tension in his back, the way his shoulders held too much weight, said enough. Who did Tommy think he was, coming in here with all that, telling him things he didn’t need to hear? He didn’t care about any of it. As far as he was concerned, you could date Travis, marry him if that’s what you wanted. None of it mattered to him.
But as he climbed the stairs two at a time, his mind raced against his will. You’d been clear, hadn’t you? You didn’t want him in your life. No friendship, no connection, nothing. The words echoed, hollow and yet heavy. And as he reached the top of the stairs, he wondered how many more nights he’d have to wrestle with that idea, struggling to wrap his head around a life where you were nothing more than a memory he had to stop revisiting.
The sooner he accepted it, the easier it would be to see you with Travis, to manage the surge of irritation at the thought of his hands on you, to ignore the image of his arm slung casually around your shoulders. If he could accept it—if he did accept it—it would get easier, right? At least that’s what he told himself. He didn’t care. Obviously, he didn’t care.
He didn’t care that you’d decided to shut him out. Didn’t care that you were so resolute about it, that you barely seemed to miss him. He certainly didn’t care that he’d rearranged his mornings and evenings so he wouldn’t have to see you by accident. It wasn’t as if he still glanced at your door every time he came home, half-hoping he’d see you there, offering a smile and some easy excuse to stay. No, he wasn’t dwelling on how long it had been since he’d heard your voice or felt the comfortable warmth of your hand against his. Nearly a month now. And he was perfectly fine with it, honestly. It didn’t bother him one bit.
So fine, in fact, that he ended things with Sienna over dinner without a moment’s hesitation. Her face had gone blank with surprise, but he’d brushed it off, even throwing in some lie about being “too busy” to make it work, anything to avoid her prying questions. She’d looked at him, confused but oddly resigned, as if she’d sensed his mind had been elsewhere for a while. He didn't care, he was fine with it.
But later that night,Travis Dunn had brought you to your door—walked you up, murmured something as he leaned close, maybe kissed you goodnight. Joel didn’t know the details, but the image of it burned into his mind anyway. He sat in his room alone, a bitter laugh escaping his throat, mocking himself for how easily he’d let the thought take root. You, wrapped up with Dunn. Pf.
In the darkness of his bedroom, Joel sat on the edge of his bed, looking at the empty space beside him, the silence amplifying every unspoken word, every unfulfilled touch. He was fine with it. Of course he was. He repeated it in his mind, willing himself to believe it, even as a hollow ache throbbed in his chest.
And as if the universe were doubling down on the irony, that night he dreamed of you.

I blinked and suddenly I had a Valentine
Tumblr media
Author's Note: modern setting, no curses, high school setting. ~1.3k words. Divider credit to @/cafekitsune. Title from the song “Valentine” by Laufey. Rice bear bathing in Japanese curry looks something like this (reddit link). Part of the past lives vignettes series. Thank you for reading!
It’s almost the end of January and you’ve spent the past three weeks at your new school eating alone, either in the classroom or in the cafeteria. You’re too shy to socialize with your peers, who are already well-established in their own social circles. This is what happens when you transfer in with less than three months left of the schoolyear. No one wants to be friends with the new girl, right?
Well, two people prove this theory wrong.
Yu Haibara is the first to approach you in the cafeteria during lunchtime. “Hi there!” he greets, taking a seat across from you, a cheerful smile on his face. You can tell from his aura alone that this is someone easy to get along with. Jovial, optimistic, kind-hearted. You’d normally feel nervous interacting with someone you’ve never met before, but his welcoming presence immediately puts you at ease.
He’s followed by a blonde boy, slightly taller, a bit lanky, and sulking behind him. His name is Kento Nanami. You recognize him from your homeroom, though you’ve never spoken before. Occasionally, he eats his meals there, usually in the back with his headphones in, listening to music, while you’re in the front, indulging in whatever homemade bento box you decide to make for yourself that day. It’s crossed your mind more than once to join him so that neither of you are alone, though you’ve chickened out each time, convinced that he’d rather remain that way than be bothered by a nobody. Unlike Haibara, his lips are pressed together in a natural frown. You don’t sense unhappiness or animosity from him; rather, it’s indifference, apathy. When he sits down next to his pal, he gives you a nod, acknowledging you.
Haibara does the courtesy of introductions. You hold your hand out to him, doing the same. He takes it enthusiastically, beaming at you. “I know who you are. I’m a first-year too!”
It doesn’t strike you as odd that he’s already somewhat familiar with you. Instead, you’re relieved to finally be making friends in this cutthroat environment called high school. After this first meeting, the three of you are inseparable. You get on well with Haibara, who’s an expert at keeping the conversation flowing. Nanami doesn’t say much, though you notice his subtle mannerisms that speak volumes more than what his actual words do. You can tell he admires your homemade lunches each time you uncover them at the table. His eyes light up, marveling at whatever creation you’ve concocted the night before: yakisoba, onigiri, chicken stir-fry. He doesn’t say anything, relying on Haibara to do the complimenting. You appreciate how intently he listens to you, even if he doesn’t have much to contribute. In homeroom, you sneak glances at him when your teacher says something particularly ridiculous, to which you spot the faintest hint of a smile flitting on his lips. And you realize that every time you’re walking beside each other, he makes sure to switch his bag to his arm away from you. Part of you hopes the real reason behind this is to be closer to you, but you try to keep those lovelorn thoughts buried in the back of your mind, being certain that’s not the case.
You eventually find out that Haibara has severe allergies, especially during the seasons of Winter and Spring. He explains how he has to take at least a few days off once a month, sometimes an entire week. Today, he dons a face mask, already anticipating it. “Don’t miss me too much,” he jokes, his bright smile noticeable even behind the mask. It’s February now; the three of you sit together at your regular spot in the cafeteria. Nanami eats his rice bowl in silence while you say to Haibara, “You’re going to miss Valentine’s Day.”
He crosses his arms over his chest, smirking. “I guess the two of you will have to be each other’s Valentines.”
At this, Nanami almost chokes on his food, face turning scarlet. He reaches for his water bottle, which is empty, still clearing his throat as he excuses himself to refill it. When you’re alone, you glare at Haibara, scolding him. “Why would you say that?!”
He shrugs innocently. “What’s the big deal? He likes you.”
Your jaw drops at his surprising statement. You’ve always thought that Nanami tolerates you, but you never truly believed he could ever like you. “What do you mean?”
Haibara blinks at you, as if the answer is so obvious. “He told me about you. Said how you always had the most amazing bento boxes for lunch. How cute your smile was whenever you’d take a bite. He was too shy to talk to you first, so he had me do it. You…didn’t know that?”
You stare at him, shaking your head slowly, stunned by this revelation.
He laughs nervously, scratching his head. “Oops.”
Nanami returns, back to his normal self now, remaining quiet. There’s still the faint blush on his cheeks; you pretend not to notice it. Nothing else is mentioned about Valentine’s the rest of the day, though it lingers on your mind the remainder of the week.
Haibara is out sick February 13th, leaving you and Nanami alone together for the first time since you befriended them. You’re curious to see if the dynamic would change, if Nanami would actually speak up now that his buddy isn’t around to fill the void with his amicable chatter. But lunch ends up being a quiet affair. You do your best to ask questions, start conversation, but he’s even more tense than he usually is. When you mention Valentine’s Day tomorrow, the familiar rosy tint spreads across his face. You drop it, not wanting to make him uncomfortable, though you can’t help thinking how sweet he is for reacting that way.
He likes you. The words have been replaying in your head since you heard them. And the truth is: you like Nanami too.  Based on what Haibara said, he might be too shy to tell you.
So, you take matters into your own hands.
The next day, February 14th, you come to school carrying a box wrapped in red ribbon. Inside homeroom. You greet Nanami politely, catching the way his gaze drifts to your hands. You smile wider to yourself, excited to present it to him later. At your seat, you can smell the decadent scent of homemade chocolates and heart-shaped candies from the other girls in your class. You get increasingly nervous about the gift, wondering if he’ll receive it well. Still, it’s worth a shot.
When class is over and it’s time for lunch, Nanami waits for you near the door to walk to the cafeteria together. Ready to leave, you stop him, clearing your throat before you announce, “I have something for you.”
His eyes widen, his jaw clenches. It’s obvious he wasn’t expecting this.
You don’t hand it to him, afraid he wouldn’t know what to do with it. Instead, you untie the ribbon yourself, uncovering it. Inside is the bento box you prepared special for him. “I made this for you. Happy Valentine’s Day, Nanami.”
He reaches inside, holding the bento in his hands like found treasure. He snaps the cover off slowly, revealing rice balls formed into a cute bear, bathing in Japanese curry. A sheet of seaweed cut into a heart is placed directly in the center.
You watch him for his response, heart racing against your chest. He inspects it carefully, his expression softening to one of adoration. When he looks at you, he smiles, and you swear you’ve never seen anything more beautiful than Nanami Kento smiling.
“Do you like it?” you ask, needing to hear it in his own words.
He nods, still smiling. “I love it.”
You spend your lunch in the classroom, eating your matching bento boxes together while listening to his music on shared headphones.
For the first time in his life, Nanami has a special Valentine.

heyy can you write something about megumi x fem reader who’s struggling with social anxiety and he’s the only who understands her and tries to help her even if he’s really introverted, something really fluff and a bit romantic. thank u so muchhh
ᨳ A SAFE HARBOR : MEG. FUSHIGURO!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
megumi fushiguro . . . after the Goodwill Event, Satoru Gojo takes his students to a festival near Shibuya. Overwhelmed by social anxiety amidst the bustling crowd, lucky for you Megumi was there to help.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The vibrant lights of the festival cast a warm glow over the bustling streets, and the sounds of laughter, chatter, and music filled the air. Colorful stalls lined the paths, offering an array of delicious foods, games, and trinkets. Among the crowd were students from Jujutsu High, led by their ever-enthusiastic teacher, Satoru Gojo.
As you arrived at the festival with your classmates, your heart began to beat faster. The sheer number of people, the overwhelming noise, and the constant motion were almost too much to handle. You felt a lump form in your throat as you took in the scene, your anxiety rising with every step.
Gojo, noticing your hesitation, gave you a reassuring smile. “Alright, everyone! Let's stick together and have some fun!” he announced, his voice carrying over the noise. His enthusiasm was infectious, but it did little to quell the storm brewing inside you. “But remember, if anyone needs a break, just let me know.”
You clutched the strap of your bag tightly, trying to ground yourself. The vibrant colors and enticing aromas that should have been exciting only added to your sensory overload. Your breathing became shallow, and you fought to keep your composure.
Gojo's tall figure led the group through the crowd, his white hair and blindfold making him easy to spot. Around you, your classmates seemed to be enjoying themselves, their laughter and chatter blending into the chaotic symphony of the festival. You tried to stay close to them, hoping their presence would offer some comfort, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to keep your anxiety at bay.
As you all made your way to the long path of stalls, the lively bickering among your friends provided a welcome distraction from your anxiety. Maki, Panda, Toge, Nobara, and Yuji were engaged in a spirited debate about the festival attractions. Maki, always direct, started. “All right, let’s be real. The games here are rigged. You'd have better luck getting a date with Gojo than winning one of those giant stuffed animals.”
Panda chuckled, “Come on, Maki. They're not all rigged. You just have to know the tricks. Right, Toge?” Its fluffy arm nudges the much shorter boy besides, almost knocking the boy over. Toge, always the man of few words, simply nodded and said, “Salmon.”
Yuji, ever the optimist, wasn't convinced. “I don't know, Maki. I think with enough tries, anyone can win. I’m definitely getting one of those giant bears tonight.” Nobara snorted hearing the optimism lingering in Yuji's voice. “Yuji, you couldn’t win a goldfish in a barrel. Let alone a giant stuffed bear. You’re just gonna waste all your money,” she laughed while rolling her eyes, clearly dismissing the Sukuna's vessel nonchalantly.
Yuji pouted. “That’s not fair! Besides, I'm not the only one who wants to try the games. Right, Toge?” Toge grinned and gave a thumbs-up, “Tuna mayo.” The poor boy is only doing something his friends want to hear, and can't be bothered by his friends' nonsense. Maki crossed her arms. “Fine, but when you all lose, don’t come crying to me. I’ll be over at the food stalls, getting something actually worth my time.”
Panda’s eyes lit up, “Speaking of food, did you guys hear about the teriyaki stall? They have a special filling tonight. We have to check it out.” Nobara perked up on the other hand. “Taiyaki?” She asked, sounding interested, “Now that sounds worth it. We can hit the food stalls and then laugh at Yuji trying to win something.” Yuji grumbled, his brown irises rolling in annoyed, “Hey, I’m standing right here, you know.” Maki glanced at the pink-haired boy, a smirk visible on his lips, “We know, Yuji. That’s what makes it so fun.”
Megumi listened to his classmates' spirited conversation about the rigged games and the allure of food. He remained silent, watching the back-and-forth banter between Yuji and Maki, Toge and Panda, and Nobara with mild amusement as the conversation turned to the festival attractions, he remained silent, taking in their different opinions and ideas.
But his mind wasn’t solely focused on their words. He was keenly aware of you standing nearby, the tension in your body language not going unnoticed by him. He noted your evident anxiety, your grip on your bag, and your shallow breathing. Despite his usual nonchalant demeanor, he couldn’t help but worry about you.
He continued to observe you from the corner of his eye as the group continued down the long path of stalls, not quite ready to speak up just yet. Megumi knew that you were likely struggling to keep it together. He felt a pang of concern and wanted to ask if you were alright, but he also knew that drawing attention to your anxiety might only make it worse.
Maki raised an eyebrow, her competitive spirit ignited by the challenge. “Oh, you think you've got me figured out, huh? Well, alright, I'm game. What's the wager, my dear friend?” Panda chimed in, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “How about this, Maki? If you manage to win one of those giant stuffed animals, we'll treat you to a whole day of pampering. Massages, facials, the works!”
Nobara chuckled, adding her own twist to the wager. “But, if you fail to conquer the games, you'll have to wear a ridiculous costume of our choosing for the rest of the festival. And trust me, Maki, we've got some seriously outrageous ideas up our sleeves, right, y/n?” You flinched slightly at the unexpected weight of Nobara's arm around yours, but you managed to keep your reaction minimal.
“Um... I guess so,” you mumbled, not really feeling up to the idea of making a wager yourself. As Nobara's arm looped around yours, you could feel your heart racing. You tried to maintain your composure, forcing a shaky smile in response to her question.
Megumi noticed your lack of enthusiasm and the way you shrank slightly under Nobara's arm. He remained quiet, still observing you with a mixture of concern and curiosity. Maki's competitive grin widened. “You're on, my friends! Prepare to witness greatness as I conquer those rigged games with style. And just remember, when I emerge victorious, your wallets will feel the sting of treating me like the queen that I am!”
Yuji, ever the peacemaker, interjected with a laugh. “Hold on, guys! How about we make it more interesting? If Maki wins, we'll also have to carry all her winnings for the rest of the festival. And if she loses, she'll treat us to a feast at the fanciest restaurant in town!” Toge, breaking his silence, gave a sly nod of agreement. “Octopus dumplings.”
Maki's eyes sparkled with determination. “Deal! Get ready to witness the triumph of the century. I'll show you all what it means to have luck and skill on your side!” And with that, the group set off towards the games, anticipation hanging in the air as they prepared for a friendly battle of wits, luck, and plenty of laughter along the way.
As the group made their way through the crowd towards the game stalls, the conversation continued. Yuji was excitedly discussing food, while Maki bragged about her gaming skills. Megumi remained largely silent, listening more than he spoke, his focus partly on you. He observed the way your shoulders tensed as the noise continued to grow louder. He noticed the way your eyes darted around the crowd, taking in the sights, sounds, and people all around you.
As the group made their way towards the games, you couldn't help but feel even more anxious. The thought of participating in the friendly competition did not appeal to you at all. You tried to maintain your composure, but the sight of the various game stalls and the increasing noise of the crowd were making it difficult to keep your anxiety at bay.
Megumi walked silently beside you, occasionally glancing at you, his expression still calm and neutral. He could sense your discomfort and unease, which was only heightened by the boisterous banter and challenges among your classmates.
“Fushiguro, lend me a hand in bringing Maki down! I can't let her waste my hard-earned cash on this ridiculous game!” Yuji called out to his spike-haired comrade. Megumi, however, politely declined. “I'll pass, I need to grab something from Gojo-sensei,” he said, turning his attention towards you. “Y/n, would you like to come with me? I don't think I can handle it on my own,” he asked, his expression calm and reassuring.
You tilted your head, a mix of confusion and concern evident on your face as you looked up at Megumi. His tranquil blue eyes conveyed a sense of reassurance, making you believe that everything would be alright. “Y-yeah,” you stammered, nodding in agreement. Without waiting for a response from his friends, Megumi took your hand in his and held it tightly, gently leading you away from the bustling crowd.
Megumi's grip on your hand was firm yet gentle as he led you through the maze of the festival. It was a subtle gesture of comfort and reassurance, something you desperately needed in the midst of the overwhelming noises and sights. He guided you away from the boisterous group, his presence seemed to create a small bubble of calm around you.
As you walked, your gaze remained fixed on the ground, consciously avoiding eye contact and occasionally bumping into people. Struggling to keep up with Megumi's pace, you desperately tried to match his stride. You walked, Megumi's eyes glanced repeatedly at you, noting your downcast gaze and the way you kept your distance from him. It was obvious to anyone that you were struggling to cope with the overstimulation around you. As you stumbled slightly, clearly straining to keep up with his pace, Megumi made a decision to pull you closer to himself.
“Come here,” Megumi murmured softly, his arm slipping around your waist and pulling you closer until your chest lightly brushed against his side. He looked down at you with a gentle gaze . . soft even, he could sense the anxiety welling up within you. concerned about your well-being. “Is this alright for you?” he asked, concern lacing his words.
You swallowed hard, attempting to contain your anxiety and nervousness, as they threatened to escape their confines. With a quiet nod, you whispered, “Yeah,” and mustered the courage to look up at him. “I'll stay close, okay?” Once again, you nodded, your hand clutching a handful of his uniform as he resumed his walk, enveloping you under his protective arm.
Megumi's protective arm and strong frame brought a sense of security to you. The contact felt unfamiliar yet simultaneously soothing, especially considering he was not one for physical displays of affection. He could see your anxiety and unease written all over your face, but he remained calm and composed.
As he walked, he instinctively adjusted his pace and gait, syncing them with yours to match your strides. He observed you from the corner of his eyes, making sure you weren't overwhelmed by the environment around you. Megumi observed you closely, noticing the way your eyes darted back and forth, avoiding direct contact. Your body seemed tense, almost as if it was prepared to flee at any moment. He could feel the tightness in your muscles through the sleeve of his uniform.
He walked slowly, making sure to match your pace and occasionally checking on you from the corner of his eyes. The further you moved away from the lively commotion, the more relaxed you seemed to feel, and the vice-like grip you had on his uniform softened slightly. “Are you... okay?” he asked again, his voice a low murmur meant for your ears only. His hand gently squeezed your waist, a subtle gesture of reassurance.
As Megumi's voice cut through the low hum of the festival, you looked up at him, your eyes slightly wider than usual. The subtle squeeze of your waist startled you, and you took a moment to let your mind register his question. You couldn't help but feel a pang of vulnerability. Your heart fluttered for a moment, but you quickly composed yourself and nodded. “Y-yeah,” you whispered, still holding onto his uniform.
Once you both escaped the clamor of the bustling festival, Megumi guided you to a bench nestled beside a majestic tree, offering a breathtaking view of the city below. His gentle gaze remained fixed on you as he asked, “Will you wait for me?” He made it clear that he wouldn't leave unless you wanted him to. However, you nodded in reassurance, prompting him to nod as well before he slowly departed, leaving you to enjoy a moment of solitude.
You released a sigh of relief, your eyes soaking in the sight of the cityscape, where soft flickering lights danced in the distance. The gentle breeze caressed your face and swayed your hair, creating a serene atmosphere. As you relished in the momentary solitude, your heart rate gradually eased, and the tightness in your chest slightly lifted. Before long, Megumi returned, clutching a bottle of water in one hand and a handful of candies in the other, your eyes darted to the sight of him. He settled next to you, his presence bringing a sense of comfort. “Here, have this,” he said, settling down beside you and offering the water first.
You accepted the water bottle, still trying to regain your composure. As you took a sip, the refreshing liquid helped to soothe your parched throat and clear your head. You glanced at Megumi, noticing the candy in his other hand. “What are the candies for?” you asked, your voice a bit raspy from the anxiety-induced dryness in your mouth.
Megumi's expression faltered, his face reflecting a mix of confusion and uncertainty. “I... I don't know,“ he murmured, shaking his head with a small chuckle as you joined in. “But here,” he continued, offering you the candy, “I think this might make you feel better.”
You couldn't help a small smile as you noticed the slight confusion on his face. It was out of character for him to do something without a clear reason, and the fact that he admitted he didn't know why he bought the candies struck you as endearing.
Taking the candy from his hand, you examined it for a moment before popping it into your mouth. The sweetness of the candy combined with the gesture of his thoughtfulness made you feel more relaxed than before. “Thanks, Megumi,” you said quietly, grateful for his thoughtfulness. “You always know how to make me feel better.”
Megumi's stoic facade softened at your words. A hint of a smile tugged at the corners of his lips, and a slight tinge of pink dusted his cheeks. “You don't need to thank me,” he replied, his voice gentle. “I just... I want you to feel better. It doesn't sit right with me when you're...” He hesitated for a moment, as if searching for the right words. “When you're not okay.”
“Beside..” he mumbled, a hint of teasing in his voice. “I can't have you being anxious the entire night. It wouldn't be much of a festival then, would it?” You chuckled softly, feeling some of the tension ease out of your body. His attempt at humor, subtle as it was, was appreciated. “You're right,” you said, a hint of a smile playing on your lips. “I suppose I wouldn't be the best company if I was constantly on edge the entire night.” His hand instinctively reached for yours, his fingers intertwining with yours unconsciously.
You looked at his hand intertwined with yours, the physical contact feeling comforting and reassuring. a small smile forming on your lips. “I promise I'll try not to let my anxiety ruin the night.” Megumi's voice softened as he gently protested, his hand reaching out to pull you closer by your shoulder until there was no distance left between you two. “Hey, don't say that,” he murmured, his touch warm and comforting. “You know it's not your fault. It's not something you can control.”
His large hands moved up and down your arm in a soothing gesture, offering reassurance and support. In his embrace, you could feel his genuine care and understanding, a sense of safety enveloping you. Megumi's presence was a comforting balm, reminding you that you were not alone in your struggles.
Your heart skipped a beat as he pulled you closer, bringing you flush against his side. The sudden closeness caught you off guard, but his soothing touch on your arm made you feel more at ease. His words, spoken with a firm yet soothing tone, assured you that he didn't blame you for your anxiety. You felt the heat rising in your cheeks, and you swallowed, trying to find your voice. “I know,” you mumbled, your voice barely above a whisper. “I know I can't help it, but I still can't help feeling frustrated, you know?“ His large hands continued to gently move up and down your arm, each stroke a silent reassurance.
You leaned closer into him, feeling his strength and warmth emanating through the contact. The gentle rhythm of his hand moving up and down on your arm was grounding, helping to ease your racing thoughts and quell the butterflies in your stomach.
Megumi's expression softened as he listened to your words. His hand gently moved from your arm to your waist, pulling you even closer to him. He gave you a small, encouraging squeeze, his gaze never leaving your face. “I know it's frustrating,” he said, his voice soothing and comforting. “But you don't have to carry the burden of feeling guilty. It's not your fault, and the fact that you're trying is more than enough.” His hand continued to move in slow, gentle circles on your waist, the contact providing a sense of grounding comfort.
As Megumi's words sank in, a wave of relief washed over you. His reassurance and understanding were like a soothing balm to your anxiety-stricken mind. You couldn't help but lean a little bit closer to him, seeking more of the comfort he was offering. “Thank you,” you whispered, your voice softer than before. “For understanding. For being so . . accepting.” His hand on your waist resumed its gentle rubbing, a silent reassurance that he was there, present and supportive.
Megumi's grip on your waist tightened ever so slightly at your words, his gaze softening even further. The small action spoke volumes, conveying a silent message of reassurance and support. “You don't have to thank me for that,” he muttered, his voice gentle yet firm. “It's the least I can do.”
He shifted, bringing himself closer to you, closing any remaining distance between your bodies. The familiar scent of his cologne and the warmth of his body against yours were grounding, pulling you further from your anxious thoughts.
A peaceful silence settled between the two of you as you both admired the sprawling cityscape before you. Your eyes momentarily drifted down to your hands, intertwined and resting gently on Megumi's thigh. You could feel the comforting sensation of his thumb caressing your hand, creating a tender connection between you.
A playful smile danced across your lips as you glanced up at Megumi, teasingly remarking, “You seem awfully touchy tonight.” Your gaze met his, curiosity sparkling in your eyes, eager to hear his response.
Megumi's hand stilled on yours, paused mid-motion. For a brief moment, he was taken aback by your comment. His facial expression betrayed a hint of surprise, but it was quickly masked with a subtle smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. Megumi's head tilted slightly to the head. His hand, still intertwined with yours, still on his thigh, gave a playful squeeze.
“Touchy, huh?” he retorted, his voice laced with a teasing tone. He shifted his position slightly, angling himself to face you more directly. “Is that a complaint?” His thumb continued to caress the back of your hand, the gentle touch simultaneously comforting and electrifying. You tilted your head, a sly grin forming on your lips. “A complaint? Hardly. If I wanted to complain, you'd know. Consider this a friendly reminder to keep up the good work.”
You gently squeezed his hand back, your eyes sparkling with mischief. “But hey, if you need reassurance, I can always provide some pointers.”
Megumi's smirk widened into a genuine smile at your playful response. The banter between you felt natural and comfortable, the ease of conversation a testament to the years of friendship and familiarity that lay between you. “Oh, is that so?” he replied, his voice laced with a hint of challenge. “And here I thought I was doing just fine on my own.” He shifted again, his grip on your hand tightening ever so lightly, his thumb still caressing your skin in slow, soothing circles. “But... I suppose I could always use some pointers from an expert like yourself.”
You arched an eyebrow, a smirk playing on your lips. “An expert, huh? Well, it's good to see you finally recognizing talent when you see it.” You leaned in slightly, your voice taking on a playful tone. “But don't worry, Megumi. With my guidance, you'll be a pro in no time.” You gave his hand a playful squeeze. “Just try to keep up, alright?”
Megumi chuckled, his expression a mix of amusement and challenge. “Oh, I'll keep up, alright,” he said, his voice carrying a hint of determination. He matched your lean, bringing his face slightly closer to yours. His gaze dropped to your intertwined hands for a moment before returning to your eyes, a spark of playful rivalry lighting his gaze. “You better be prepared to put your money where your mouth is,” he teased, his grip on your hand tightening almost imperceptibly.

“How much did you buy?” Xavier demands in shock and annoyance, his sapphire eyes slowly narrowing to slits.
Amused and intrigued by this side of Xavier you’ve only managed to see once in a while, you smile inside secretly. Your plan to see how much of his dark side you could provoke to come out was slowly working. Yes you knew it was toxic and manipulative on your end to stoke his ire but Gods did it get you hot and bothered when the light in his eyes dimmed and his voice grew firm, husky, Dangerous. You wanted to know what that was like when he focused that dark side of his, in bed, on YOU.
You playfully shove at his unyielding hard chest caging you in on the single sofa he had moments ago cornered you to.
“Move! We can’t keep the delivery guy waiting” you whine with a soft laugh, your eyes soaking in his annoyed but still so handsome face.
“Nope” came the firm reply and an even firmer hand sliding up yours on his chest to grip and slowly bring it back down between the two of you.
“ I won’t let you go, until I hear the answer I want” the cold firm tone was said in a deep husky voice. The usually soft innocent expression of his was now gone and replaced with a cool almost predatory one. His already dark sapphire eyes almost black and now hooded, soft locks of his greyish hair falling into them.
Fuck… you thought eagerly. Here he was, Dark Xavier, this side of him you affectionately nicknamed.
You could feel your lower belly clench in pleasure, your pussy was damn near throbbing already.
A loud pounding at the door causes both of you to jump, Xavier startles and glances over at the door with a fierce scowl. He was distracted enough that you managed to wrench your hand out of his now loose grip and push him softly but quickly out of the way as you made a hasty escape from his cage and towards the door.
“Cominggg! Hold on I’m coming sir!”
If you had glanced behind you, you would have noticed Xavier’s lips raise in an unnatural smile as he watched your enthusiastic figure race to the door. coming? calling another man sir and yelling about coming? he thought, his mind warping your words, you wouldn’t be doing that this evening unless you BEGGED and gave him the exact answer he needed to hear.
After getting your package of more Lumiere merchandise and food ordered, your next plan was getting Xavier’s reluctant help in setting up the Lumiere toys and cardboard cutout in your room, you positioned the cutout directly by your bed earning yourself and the innnocent cutout a heavy dark stare.
Uh ohhhhh, you thought with an inner snicker. He was slowly losing it, you could feel the heavy aura in the bedroom. Now was the time to coax him to bed and show your “appreciation” for his help these past few days. Truthfully your injuries had healed well and you would’ve gone back to work but Xavier definitely wouldn’t have approved. Plus he seemed to really enjoy personally taking care of you.
You slowly strip out of the pajama bottoms and flannel top you had on, revealing the cute red lacy underwear set you had bought just for tonight.
Unfortunately the lacy panty was half drenched with your arousal but the sharp intake of breath you heard from Xavier seated on your bed made it worth keeping it on. You could feel that possessive almost hungry stare slowly sliding up your body and back down leaving you jittery and achy with anticipation.
To add more fuel to the fire you had cultivated all these few days, you pick up the handsome Lumiere ball joint doll you had managed to snag online before it sold out from your vanity and give it a quick sweet kiss on its resin cheek. “Goodnight my handsome Lumiere” you coo at it.
A sudden low snarl from the bed almost makes you drop the doll to the hardwood floor in shock, you whip your head so fast to catch Xavier’s angered face you almost give yourself a crick in the neck. You slowly place the ball joint doll back on your vanity.
Now your heart is pounding because Xavier’s off the bed now, slowly walking towards you. His expression twisted into a faint calm smile but the energy he’s giving off is anything but calm.
“X-Xavier?” You half ask half whisper. Taking an involuntary step away from his slowly advancing figure. All of a sudden the room feels too small and not enough room to escape.
Xavier lets out a soft flat chuckle, he watches you with those deep unwavering sapphire eyes of his but…his smile feels wrong, almost mocking and…cruel.
“Ahh so you do remember my name after all, Star” the deep flat voice sends alarming goosebumps down your skin. You’re caught off guard by the sudden temperature drop in the room and the sudden feeling of intimidation. You shuffle back another step almost reaching your bathroom door, your heart is racing, you feel that confusing mixture of sudden fear but titillation dampening your lacy panty. Your legs are shaking as you stare at that predatory animal gait still approaching you.
This was what you wanted but maybe just maybe, you had pushed him too far? You’re all of a sudden not sure how far Xavier might go with you tonight.
“Star? Why are you backing away from me?” Xavier asks softly with faint audible amusement, his expression still the flat calm.
Heart thudding out of your chest, you immediately turn to the bathroom door intending to dart inside and slam it shut to at least get a few seconds to shake off the chill you’re feeling and calm down.
A large palm shoots out right past your ear and slams the door you just managed to open, violently shut.
Legs almost giving out beneath you, you shakily turn and find yourself staring up at the dark blown out pupils staring blankly down at you.
“X-Xavier plea-“
All of a sudden you’re picked up and thrown over his shoulder, your world is upside down, head facing down at his bottom and legs while your ass is up in the air. Did he just? Manhandle you?!
As if he heard your stunned inner dialogue, A hard sting on your almost bare ass sends a shocking burn that wrings a startled squeal out of you.
XAVIER?!
Just
SPANKED ME?!
you’re too speechless to even try and protest before you find yourself sailing through to the bed and damn near bouncing off of it. But he’s there, palm pushing you back down hard.
You stare up at him, mouth dropped open in a breathless wheeze of near terror. Somehow your confused horny pussy thinks it’s go time and throbs with a need to be filled by this unhinged man giving you the same amused twisted smile.
Without hesitation a large hand sensually wraps around your throat and drags you up firmly to demanding lips.
Xavier’s kiss is domineering, possessive and utterly overwhelming. His soft lips draw out moans from you quickly enough but before you can actually start reciprocating, he sinks his teeth to your bottom lips causing you to draw back with a sudden wince. You’re wide eyed, disbelief written plainly on your face. Gentle soft Xavier has definitely left the building. In front of you is exactly the man you were hoping for.
“Since my little Star thinks I’m harsh and cruel” Xavier’s other free hand strokes down from your heaving chest, stopping briefly to squeeze dark hard nipples, this illicits a slightly pained but aroused whimper out of your lips. He answers that with a groan of pleasure, hooded sapphire eyes soaking up your half scared half aroused expression.
“I do love that look on your face Star, but I want you needy and whimpering on my dick, mind blank while I breed you in front of HIM” Xavier directs his cruel gaze at the cutout Lumiere board by the bed, beautiful face twisting again.
“let’s see if Lumiere can save you then? Hmm?” He looks back down at you, beneath long pale lashes the cruel gaze softens to something eager but perverse.
“Wait, Xavier, surely you know Lumiere-“ you can barely finish your sentence before he pulls you like a ragdoll and positions you on your stomach. While you don’t hate this, your heart is still thudding in your chest at how quickly “Dark Xavier” showed up and how intense this actually was. Much more intense than you imagined in fact. You didn’t know Xavier actually had it in him to be rough like this and actually have a breeding kink to boot or even say dirty stuff in bed so effortlessly?!
" My sweet little star, you shouldn't have said that name again" he slides both hands up your back and down, hands squeezing your plump ass and massaging deeply, causing you to moan helplessly.
"I was going to show some mercy tonight and let you come after all but now-" a hard smack lands on your left butt cheek causing you to jump and attempt to wriggle away but his firm hands holds you down and steady. He rubs over the stinging ass cheek soothingly, a whisper of Soft Xavier appearing again.
You could swear there's a sweet smile on his lips as he says "but now I have to keep being harsh and cruel"
Xavier positioned you directly in front of the Lumiere cutout board, it seems very intentionally.
So this would be a ravaging, claiming in front of his alter ego Lumiere. Still moving you around like a ragdoll, both hands on your hips pull your ass up so you're in a collapsed doggy position. You tense as his hands slide down from your ass to your soaked lacy panty.
Another sharp intake of breath from him as his fingers slip past the fabric and press right against your swollen clit. "Ohhhh you're sopping wet princess" his voice is back to a low breathy moan.
"So you do like me being harsh and cruel after all? Hmm?" Firm fingers rub your clit slowly, causing you to whimper and moan into the pillow. A finger slides lower, slipping into your pussy easily, another finger joins in, then another, all knuckles deep as he massages the spot he recently discovered drove you wild since you two started sleeping together two weeks ago.
You try to hide your moans as your mouth falls open and you rock back against the thick digits fucking you.
Gods Xavier knew just how to finger you and have your mind grow fuzzy. You feel that rush of an orgasm approaching and fuck you're almost there. You rock back against his scissoring fingers harder, panting, limbs trembling, eyes squeezing shut as you cream all over his hand. "Almost there", you choke out through gritted teeth.
"Oh? did I say you could cum Star?" Xavier's cold harsh voice by your ear and his swift withdrawal of his perfect fingers splashes cold water over the impending bliss.
"N-no p-please I was almost there!"  you cry out in dazed confusion. Your pussy clenches on air, you're left trembling and suddenly anger rushes through you, fogging your brain, causing your mouth to say the worst thing ever. You sit up on your knees and glare frostily at the still gently smiling Xavier next to you on the bed.
" Lumiere would've let me come" you snark,  victoriously waiting to see the anger on his face.
The room suddenly grows heavy in pressure and drops in temperature again. The still gentle smile is there on Xavier's soft lips, but it feels...condescending now.
"Lumiere... would make you cum? Is that so Princess?" Xavier asks gently in that low sensual voice of his, one eyebrow arched in mock surprise, a little chuckle follows the question.
You stare up at his sharp sapphire eyes and you feel that you made a deep mistake. Xavier's PISSED. Damn it! You curse your sharp reckless mouth and shuffle away from him in bed, attempting yet again to escape the consequences of your action.
You barely make it across the bed before Xavier has you pinned down beneath him swiftly, his firm hands clamping yours down over your head, you struggle beneath him, heart racing, attempting to buck him off of you, but he's immovable, straddling you. He'd always been very strong for someone that didn't have bulging muscles and didn't seem fond of working out.
You feel that difference in physical strength now and while its overwhelming, you find that this...is actually turning you on.
Then you feel it, the heavy bulge through his thin grey sweatpants pressing against your groin, Xavier is raging hard and excited, there's a feverish look in his dark eyes now. His smile is smug, satisfied. "You're not going anywhere Star" he leans down over you to whisper, warm lips brushing over the shell of your ear, the soft warm tip of his tongue trails up your ear and you whimper because that's one of your weak spots, your ears are particularly sensitive.
"W-wait Xavier, I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that!, I’m so sorry!" You moan out, attempting to move your overstimulated ear away from his sensual touch. But he's relentless, applying the right amount of lips and tongue and now teeth as he bites your ear lobe.
You cry out, racked by a tingly orgasm that takes you suddenly. It's almost embarrassing that you're coming just from this alone.
Xavier pulls away with a smirk to admire his handiwork, eyes drinking in your shivering panting form beneath him.
"Yeah, you shouldn't have, but you did" he let's go of one of your wrists to slide his hand down to your breasts that have fallen out of the flimsy lace bra that covered it moments ago.
He tugs on your tits, twisting one nipple gently and another harshly, wringing out pleading whimpers from your lips.
He lets go and reaches down to pull out his hard throbbing dick free from its confines. The head is a ruddy broad mushroom tip slick and drooling with precum, surprisingly thick and long for someone that doesn't look like he should have such a thing attached to him.
You stare up at his lovely face tinged with red, greyish hair hanging over eyes hooded with deep arousal and his pink lips parted as he strokes his fat dick over you. The sound of his hand stroking that beautiful cock has you squirming underneath him, Gods you want it stretching your wet little pussy so bad right now.
"Xavier please, please fuck me" you beg shamelessly, eyes glued to his hand wrapped around that fat weeping dick. He let's go of your other wrist to slide the sopping wet lace panty to the side, adjusting his position so the head of his dick slides up through your folds to your throbbing clit, he teases you like this while you whine and attempt to move your hips so he can slip inside. He glares at you narrowing his eyes in disapproval.
A hard hand wraps around your throat again, not hard enough to stop you breathing but enough to warn you he needs you to behave.
"You'll take whatever I give you right Star?" He asks with that twisted cruel smile back on his innocent face.
You nod desperately, at this point you'd agree to anything so long as you got his dick in you.
"There's a good girl, remember you said yes, Star"
Without hesitation he spears through your little wet hole with his dick and you both groan at the sensation. You almost arch off the bed as you gasp for air at the sudden fullness. His dick is almost too much, too full and too deep already.
Xavier lets out a deep shuddering breath, his eyes are feverish and there's an unstable look to it now.
"Since you want to cum so badly, I'll fulfill your wishes" he murmurs almost to himself, he draws out his dick through your tight grip and snaps his hip forward harshly, jolting you up the bed, you shriek as he finds that pleasurable spot inside you and presses in on it relentlessly.
The sound of flesh against flesh and hard panting fills the room. Your eyes glaze over as Xavier fucks you damn near through the bed. You feel an orgasm fast approaching and you start begging "please let me come Xavierrr please please!"
He lets out a hard short laugh, his hooded eyes glued to his cock plunging in and out of your tight wet pussy that won't let him go, his hand not wrapped around your throat whips out a vibrating bullet from Gods only knew where, pressing it against your slick swollen clit. There’s almost a sadistic light in his eyes now as he turns up the power.
a hard shudder runs through you as you try to squirm away not expecting that kind of stimulation, but he's already on you, holding you down with his body, the bright light in his eyes feverish as he watches you break down into a screaming overstimulated mess on his thick ravaging dick.
"Can Lumiere fuck you into this brainless mess Princess?" He whispers over you, gaze now hard and heavy on your slack face.
You're shaking as another orgasm accompanies the first one.
A soft slap on your clit sends you over the edge to something so intense you actually...Squirt. The orgasm is white and blinding, you don't realize you're screaming until a hand is clamped over your mouth hard.
" I don't want to hear you scream 'Gods' unless it's my name instead" Xavier sneers down at your face. He is relentless, still fucking you through this orgasm, setting an almost punishing pace, hitting your sweet spot repeatedly as you weakly attempt to buck him off of you. You didn’t know having an orgasm could be so unbearable. You crave it and fear it at the same time. Was this really Xavier dominating you so thoroughly?
"Fuck, your pussy is so greedy, Star, it doesn't want to let go, do you love my dick that much princess?" A ragged gasp greets your ears.
You can barely form a thought in your head, you feel like you’re floating out of your body, your mind is full of static and fuzzy. Xavier let's out another amused scoff down over you before shifting you closer to the Lumiere cutout board again.
This time he pulls up your legs, pressing it to your chest arranging you in an instense position that has his dick impossibly deeper. You faintly realize it's a mating press and a deep shiver runs through you. He was really planning on taking you like this, in front of his alter ego?! Dominating you completely like this?
"My little Star just tightened up? You really want me breeding you in front of your precious Lumiere?" Another condescending chuckle greets your ears.
His face is now closer to yours, his hand moves from your neck to your jaw.
"Open up your mouth and stick out your tongue princess, let's french kiss" he whispers, a command he expects you to follow while gazing down at you as his dick starts slowly pounding through your slick achy little pussy.
This position has you breathless and mind still fuzzy. You can only mindlessly obey him, sticking out your tongue as he leans over to suck it into his hot mouth, kissing you hungrily almost sucking up all the air in your lungs.
Xavier’s dick picks up speed, fucking into you animalistically, without mercy.
He pants, pulling away to bite the side of your neck, it’s sends a pleasurable shiver through you.
" Fuck I want to fill you up with my cum Star, gonna give you a creampie" he grunts, breathing harsher as he nears his own orgasm. Sapphire eyes screwed shut.
Your pussy grips him hard, a tight wet muscle massaging his dick mindlessly ravaging you almost instinctually.
"Your greedy pussy loves me doesn't it? You're trying to milk me already princess, such a sweet girl,"
You're creaming on his cock and start trying to squirm away, you feel another orgasm coming, this one threatens to cause a black out and you're instinctively terrified.
"Please I can't take it, it's too much" you blubber out shaking underneath him.
" You can take it Star and you will, relax I'll get you through it, just be good and take all I give you, there’s a good girl. Just like that" Xavier grunts out, hips still pistoning faster. Dick pounding into your cunt.
" Now tell me who do you prefer? Me or Lumiere? Who's breeding this perfect -grunt- pussy right now?"
You're shaking underneath him, weak, barely able to hang on as Xavier takes you hard, deep and rough in the mating press, his determination to own you almost terrifying.
"Answer me or you won't come for a long time Star" the steel is back in his voice again, hand back on your throat, not too hard but a domineering pressure and presence.
"Y-you Xavierrr, YOUU!!" you scream out and the orgasm hits the both of you at the same time.
You black out momentarily like you knew you would, head blank.
An animal like growl comes through Xavier as his dick shoots out ropes and ropes of his thick creamy cum deep into your womb. Your slut pussy mindlessly milks his still hard cock for more.
"Hahhh fucckkk good girl, your pussy is still gulping down my cum, my sweet Star is so perfect, you want more cum don't you princess?”, Xavier whispers into your ear, tongue licking away the salty tears slipping down your cheeks.
Your dazed fucked out face is still so arousing to Xavier and his dick refuses to go down. So he moves your limp body, belly down and mounts you, dick back in you, plugging up the cum that still seeps out anyway. It's another mating press. He really doesn't plan on showing you any mercy tonight.
You slowly come to with Xavier moaning and murmuring sweet words into your ears, dick still buried in your cunt. He's moving slowly now, deep slow fucking that has your breath quickening as Xavier uses your pussy without any signs of stopping, fucking you senseless.
" My sweet little Star feels too good, your pussy is so honest, it wants more doesn't it? You want my cum don't you princess? I'll fill you up soon enough, the only man allowed in here is me. That grip, such a greedy little hole, Star, just for me isn't it?" He pants, eyes glazed over as he ruts into you.
He picks up speed, hand now gripping your hair, pulling your head up off the pillow.
"Answer me, Just. For. Me. Isn't it?" Each word followed by a deep pounding that has you trying to run from his dick. You feel too good, too overstimulated, you don't think you can take another orgasm, it might just kill you.
"Yes Xavier, YES!!" You sob out, clawing at the rumpled bedsheets desperately. "Please I can't take another orgasm! Please no more, I can't do it!" You plead for mercy, tears in your eyes as you look back at Xavier pitifully, whimpering.
Something in him snaps some more, that brainless/fucked out look on your face, the whimpering, the tears and the begging as if he's your whole world tips him to a sudden orgasm that has him rutting his dick in you harder like an animal, he cums so hard it's almost painful for him.
The thick ropes of cum is milked out of him as you tighten your inner muscles causing him to double over and roar his release.
He collapses over you, a panting satisfied mess. Trying his best not to suffocate you, he rolls over to his side pulling you into his chest and cuddles you, soothing you, stroking a soft comforting hand down your soft silky skin. He showers you with soft placating kisses. It seems he accomplished his goal of teaching you a lesson.
You feel Xavier get up to go to the bathroom but you don't move your head to check, you're so exhausted you start sinking into deep sleep.
Xavier comes back with a warm damp washcloth and cleans you up, cuddles you again and rubs your back, whispering sweet praises into your neck. His hard glare at the Lumiere cutout board almost burns a hole through it in the dark bedroom.
You wake up mid afternoon to find Xavier staring at you with a loving look in his now actually calm soft sapphire eyes, he's sitting by the love seat sofa by your bed, flipping through a book he had been reading this past week.
You almost feel like everything that happened last night was a dream, but your achy body tells you it definitely wasn't, you might not be able to walk straight anytime soon it seems.
"You're up Star, umm I got some takeout I can warm up for you" Xavier gets up and approaches you, sitting on the bed and pulling off your head scarf he seemed to have put on you when you fell asleep, he caresses your soft cheek lovingly . Soft sweet Xavier is back, his voice is back to being lighter and carefree, eyes drinking you in possessively and sweetly.
“Ummm, did I scare you last night? Was I too rough on you?” Xavier worriedly asks, scratching at the back of his neck, smile sheepish.
“N-no. I actually enjoyed that Xavier, truly. I just didn’t think you’d be so…kinky” you mutter, feeling your face grow hot at his knowing smile. You look away, glad he can’t see your blush so easily. But your cute physical reactions are telling. He leans over to capture your face and kiss your cheeks and throat sweetly. “you’re so cute my star” he murmurs into your skin.
You sigh and collapse back against the pillow, you’re hungry as hell and still tired, you're gonna be in bed for a bit longer. You remind yourself that maybe trying to bring out Dark Xavier often isn't a good idea, maybe once in a while, last night was hot as hell, you've never cum so hard in your life and been scared to orgasm again. It’s just…you have a feeling you’d probably be orgasmed to near death if you kept provoking that side of him again too soon.
"I love you Xavier" you say smiling sweetly at him. You mean it and you want to reassure him he’s the only man for you.
His already sweet puppy like eyes soften impossibly, "I love you too Star"
"You really are the most jealous man I know Xavier," you muse with a faint giggle.
Almost immediately something dark passes through Xavier's sweet eyes.
Uh Ohhhh…
"You...know other men?" He inquires, voice tense and now low but he still maintains his smile.
You roll your eyes up at the ceiling and sigh. Gods help you.
End.
Writer note: Welp here was the brainrot in my head for Dark Xavier. I’m still figuring out how to write this ml X You content. I don’t know if I’ll do these kind of writing again or stick to using my specific MC.

𝐠𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 | 𝐥.𝐡𝐬
synopsis ; top of the class and elected by all his peers as class president, lee heeseung is paired with you for a biology project. yes, he's crazily attractive and yes, your friends tease you about how he's taken a liking for you, but would it be weird to say that his stands on a gummy bear brand debate are the reason why you would risk it all?
pairing ; class president!heeseung x fem!reader genre ; fluff, mutual crushing wc ; 1893
Tumblr media
this sort of feeling is more than a candy (more than a candy) like the sweet feeling that i'm getting
"So... you wanna come over?"
You looked down at your hands, clasped tightly together, slightly flushing when you remembered how the popular, handsome class president, Lee Heeseung, had asked you over to his house to begin your assigned biology project.
Of course, Lee Heeseung wouldn't have chosen you by his own will…
Your teacher had assigned partners, and you had been lucky enough to be paired with the boy who persistently gave you butterflies every time his gaze locked with yours.
In all honesty, you didn't like the jittery, nervous feeling. You didn’t enjoy being impressed by the talented boy when he proudly achieved an A plus on a Maths test. You didn’t like being so awe-struck by coincidentally hearing his melodious voice as you walked past the music room.
It made you feel like one of those annoying side characters who thought they really stood a chance to pull their crush.
But in reality, you really did have a chance… and since it was way too good to be true, you hated it.
Your loyal posse of friends, Yang Jungwon, Kim Sunoo and Nishimura Riki were quite close to him, and it came as a rude shock when they had excitedly announced that Lee Heeseung, the Lee Heeseung, whom you’d been drawn to the moment you met him — found you attractive.
It was difficult to believe at first, but when Sunoo gently reminded you of how Heeseung would stretch and look over at you during lessons, Riki recalled how he had so gently called out your name while marking attendance, and Jungwon added that Heeseung had this habit of mentioning you in every little conversation…
It gave you the glimmer of hope you never thought you would ever feel.
The bus you were taking came to a halt at your stop. You stumbled on your feet, abruptly snapping out of your thoughts.
Gulping, you stepped off the bus in an embarrassed hurry.
Briefly glancing at your watch to check the time, you ran home upon noticing that you only had an hour to prepare yourself to show up at Heeseung’s house. You couldn’t possibly appear in your dishevelled uniform and loosely bunned hair.
Waves of excitement washed over you, causing chaos and wreaking havoc inside your weak heart.
This wouldn't do.
You let out a shaky sigh, wringing your hands to rid them of anxious nerves. It really would be terrible if you turned to mush right in front of your crush, and to emphasise it again, the Lee Heeseung.
You still couldn't wrap your head around the fact that you were going to his house, which would probably be completely perfect, not a pinky out of place.
Then again, who were you to assume what Heeseung's house looked like? If you were lucky his house would be as messy as yours and you wouldn't have to worry about your usual clumsy antics causing dismay in his living room.
You scowled in indignation at that thought. Did Heeseung have to be so obnoxiously perfect?
Subconsciously, as you were drowning in your thoughts, you slammed the front door closed. Luckily, no one was home to hear you mumble to yourself about how you would have to meet Heeseung in about forty-five minutes.
You threw your bag on the floor enthusiastically when you reached your room, and took a quick shower. When you were finally ready, you looked back at your outfit, making a disgusted face at yourself.
Since when had you become so self-conscious about how you dressed? When did you start to take a liking to jewelleries of gold, silver and bronze? Lee Heeseung was indeed doing something to your heart. Something that you wondered whether you liked or not.
You shrugged it off, tossing it all behind you just as you stuffed materials into your bag. You threw in your airpods —  who wouldn’t be grateful for their favourite songs as a distraction? Your thick biology textbook, at which you turned up your nose at. Who even enjoyed answering questions and getting them wrong after forgetting one key word? A few pens, rough paper.
And finally, a packet of gummy bears. Born with a sweet tooth, you were very particular about candies and delicacies, especially their respective brands. This meant that you would have to buy that specific brand of gummy bears, otherwise you'd utterly refuse to eat them.
You thought that you'd have a little snack with heeseung after starting your project and whatnot. He had better be in agreement with your Yupi supremacy agenda. Ah, the infamous debate between Yupi and Haribo. Personally, for you, it was Yupi above all. Haribo was simply too tough on your teeth… the flavours weren’t susceptible to melting in your mouth.
With that, you heaved your packed bag over your shoulder, and finally left the house.
You passed by countless houses, endless trees that seemed to mock the way your stomach tossed and turned, folding in all three dimensions, "you're not at his house yet, why are you so nervous?"
You yourself could hardly explain the flits in your chest every time your mind wandered to Heeseung's face and kind demeanour. Hands clutching more firmly onto the straps of your totebag, you continued down along the sidewalk, looking out for the bus stop Heeseung had specifically told you to meet him at.
"It’s adorned completely in green vines and red blossoms that are half-bloomed." The words he had murmured softly as he rose from his desk. They still rang in your ears.
You tried swallowing the thickness in your throat. Facing your definitely unreal feelings for him was challenging, unfamiliar. The mere thought of it made your mind whirl in confusion, and your heart pound.
You couldn’t overthink. Not at that moment. Not on a day as nice as that. The breeze wasn't too strong, the weak sunlight merely enough to cast faint shadows of the greenery across the road.
Weather like that always made a swell of a dull desire to immerse yourself in your own thoughts. Weirdly enough, you had learned to give in to that feeling. Maybe it was better to think. About the good and the bad. About what happened and what may.
That was one of those times.
But when you looked up and saw the unmistakable bloom of rouge-tinted flowers dotting the roof of a bus stop, all emotions faded away, to be replaced with simple anticipation.
With another turn of the head, you saw a familiar face looking back at you, wide eyes aglow with eagerness.
You were being uncharacteristically dramatic over something so small. So miniscule. Something as unimportant as meeting up for a graded project. And he was only your partner out of necessity, for goodness’ sake. In what world would Heeseung choose you?
What on earth is wrong with me?
Your guts wrenched nervously when Heeseung flashed a soft smile at you.
"Yn, good to see you! You ready for our project?"
You should be ashamed of it, but you could barely hear his voice. Your head was screaming curses. Get your act together and behave yourself in front of him - he's the class president!
On the other hand, your heart protested loudly. He was the same guy you saw everyday in the school cafeteria playing around with Riki and Sunoo just to entertain their childish antics. In fact, Jungwon’s the one who stepped in to calm them down.
Well, you supposed that was the class president version of Lee Heeseung. This Heeseung, clad in a soft brown hoodie and plain jeans, looked like a laid-back and cool Lee Heeseung. Like he wasn’t all that perfect like his image portrayed him to be.
Somehow, this version of him was one that looked more reliable, more real.
The thought helped you to smile back more effortlessly, nodding. Heeseung gestured for you to follow him and you quickly sped up your pace so that it matched his, wincing inwardly because your legs were definitely not as long and efficient as his. You had to take ridiculously long strides in order to keep up with him.
Which, in all honesty, you were used to considering you’re friends with Riki, Sunoo and Jungwon. They all teased you for it, a mutual pastime.
You shook your head to clear your thoughts and glanced up at Heeseung, who, fortunately for you, looked a little nervous as well. His eyes darted to the side so often that you were surprised that there was actually nothing where he looked.
"So I kinda had an idea about what we could do for our bio investigation..." you tried to strike up conversation, and luckily, Heeseung instantly relaxed, seeming more comfortable when he looked back into your eyes.
You could see his own orbs widen with curiosity as he urged you to carry on with an encouraging, "yeah?"
Once you were encouraged to start talking about something, you couldn't stop. You started blurting out the doodles encasing ideas you had jotted down in class, theories and experiments and projects and conclusions. Heeseung just nodded along, his eyebrows tilting in genuine interest as he listened to every word that came out of your mouth.
You just ignored the flutter it brought to your heart.
It was a miracle that both of you managed to keep up the conversation — socialising is certainly difficult.
The moment one foot went in through the door you noticed that his home wasn't all that classy like you imagined it would be. It looked… reassuringly ordinary. It was like a reminder that you didn't have to act like a prim and proper barbie doll in front of this guy, whether your crush or not.
You kept that in the back of your mind for the following hours as you carried out the experiment with much giggling and small talk. And tea.
"You know," Heeseung said between bouts of laughter, tears pricking the corners of his eyes. “Once, Riki tried wooing this girl — but she complained that he was too tall for her! I swear, I think that was the first time I ever saw him frustrated because of his height."
At that, you rolled your eyes, snapping, "and he still believes calling me short is funny.”
At  the end of it all, you were both exhausted from trying to smother laughter, and fortunately, somehow, you had finished your project in the nick of time. Just an hour before the report had to be submitted.
As you laid back in his chair, your mind sneakily offered, well, what next?
"Hungry?" Heeseung interrupted your mental debate on whether or not to bring out your pack of gummy bears. You grinned sheepishly before finally sticking your hand into your totebag and pulling out the packet.
There was an immediate, shocked response from Heeseung. "You prefer Yupi too??"
You must be the textbook definition of soulmates!
You looked up in disbelief, only to see Heeseung’s eyes alight with an adorable, burning passion that could’ve been funny in the situation.
With a nod, you launched into an expressive speech on why it was better than Haribo, and attentive Heeseung nodded vigorously along to all your passionately conveyed points.
With that, suddenly everything was a lot easier to take in, less confusing and more exciting.
Who would've known it'd start with a packet of your favourite gummy bears?
i don’t wanna make it blue create it, your la vie en rose

The sweet cry of your 5 month old baby woke you from your deep slumber. As you stretched your arm out, you noticed the absence of your husband but just assumed he was at the gym just like every day off for him. You dragged your feet over to the cot by your bed and was met with your little human with fat tears of hunger. He looked so adorable in his little swaddle and no matter how many times he woke you up with his crying, your heart still melted every time
“Good morning ducky! Don’t cry, mama’s here” you cooed at the little bundle
From the sound of your soothing voice, your baby instantly calmed down and hiccuped. His bright eyes stared up at you and he smiled so sweetly. As you undid his swaddle and lifted him out of his cot, his tiny legs scrunched up. He snuggled into your chest and let out tiny gargles when you cuddled him and you just wished that you could stay like this forever
You sang ‘Polaroid Love’ to him as you slightly bounce him and made your way out of yours and Jay’s bedroom. There was music playing from downstairs paired with the voices of your husband and toddler singing along. A smile was plastered on your as you made your way to the racket and the sight in front of you made your smile even wider
The two of them looked so cute with their pyjamas and fluffy bed hair bouncing as they danced to the song. Your 3 year old was a spitting image of his father and he barely carried any of your traits. You could tell that your youngest was going to be the same but you couldn’t complain since your husband is so cute.
The sound of your footsteps caused them to turn in your direction and quickly, your toddler pattered over to you
“Mummy! Daddy made ankcakes!” He jumped enthusiastically with both hands gripping onto his favourite breakfast
“Oo yummy! Can mummy have some pancakes as well?” You squatted down to his eye level
Being the sweetheart that he was, your son fed you a bit of the pancake in his hand and let out an excited squeal when you took a bite
“Thank you monkey” you pinched his chubby cheeks and stood up to face your gorgeous husband
The fond smile he had on his face was enough for you to fall for him all over again. It radiated so much warmth and love that it made you feel all mushy inside.
He came around the kitchen island with a fresh pile of fluffy pancakes in the shape of hearts to wrap his free arm around your waist. As he pulled you in, he pressed a kiss to your temple and another kiss on your baby’s forehead that was resting against your shoulder
“Good morning my princess. Did you get a good rest? I didn’t mean to wake you with the racket” he mumbled
“I did my love thank you. And you didn’t wake me don’t worry. It was this little munchkin calling for his breakfast” you smiled and bounced your baby slightly
If he could, Jay would’ve stood there just staring at you but his daydream was interrupted by your toddler asking daddy for uppies. He let out a laugh before picking up your son who then leaned to over to you to give you a slobbery kiss on the cheek.
As he looked back at his pancakes and then saw yours, he let out a tiny whine to his dad
“Daddyyy! Why did mummy get heart ancakes? What about baby?” He pouted and patted his chest to emphasise how he felt betrayed
Jay stroked his son’s head before explaining “You got Mickey Mouse pancakes remember buddy? Then you ate them all up like a big boy”
His eyes reflected so much adoration as he looked at his pouty son. Luckily, your toddler instantly had a massive grin as his father jogged his memory of the fun pancakes. With a giggle, your son climbed down from his dad’s embrace to eat the rest of his pancakes and ran off to the living room to watch his favourite cartoon
Jay dragged a seat out for you to sit down for breakfast before taking a seat next to you. Since your baby needed feeding, you started to breastfeed him whilst Jay fed you your pancakes like the gentleman he was.
“By the way, I let my mum know that I’ll drop the babies off around 2pm. Everything is packed so you don’t need to worry about anything” he carried on feeding you as he was talking
The two of you barely got to have some time alone so Jay took the time to organise his days off so that he could have you all to himself. Having the babies already took a lot of time but Jay’s hectic job was also a massive factor. But now that he was going to have a few days off, he was going to take advantage and get you all alone before spending the last few days off with you and your babies
Fortunately for the two of you, Jay’s parents lived very close and never passed on the opportunity to babysit their grandchildren. And because they had retired recently, it meant that they could help to look after the boys when you were too tired
Your baby unlatched from you so Jay took is as his cue to take him and start burping him whilst you fixed yourself and finished your breakfast. Once you washed your plate, you joined your boys in the living room to watch some cartoons. It was moments like this where you wanted time to stop and just capture everything around you
Your toddler was on his stomach, drawing in his colouring book but getting distracted by the TV every so often. And your husband was next to you with his head on your shoulder with your baby lying on his chest sucking on a pacifier. You all stayed like that for a bit till it was time for you to get your babies ready to go to their grandparents.
It seems like you were blessed with the most well-behaved kids ever as they didn’t make a fuss when you got them ready. Jay’s parents would always joke about how that was one aspect the babies were different from their father who in contrast, was a mischievous child who would run away.
In the car, Jay had put on the baby playlist for your toddler to sing along to whilst his baby brother stared at him with a smile. You looked at Jay to admire his perfect side profile as he concentrated on the road. It was like he felt your gaze on him as he turned to look at you with a smirk
“You’re staring beautiful” he mumbled whilst bringing your hand up and placing a kiss on you knuckles.
Your cheeks heated up and you turned away, pouting
“No I’m not”
He chuckled and ran his thumb over the back of your hand as they remained interlocked on your lap
To Jay, it felt like absolute torture not being able to touch you they way he wanted to ever since the babies were born. Even before you had your youngest, it took ages before he could get the time to make love to you. It didn’t help that your toddler was a mummy’s boy and would throw a fit whenever you were out of his sight for too long. Jay was glad that your babies got more used to staying with their grandparents so he could drop them off and devour you on every surface of your shared home
He gave into temptation and removed his hand from yours to grip your inner thigh. You turned to him in shock but all he did was squeeze your thigh whilst keeping his attention on the road. For the sake of your kids, you kept your composure and just let your husband carry on with his antics for the rest of the journey
After what felt like hours (it was 10 minutes), you finally made it to Jay’s childhood home where his parents were already stood at the door with bright smiles on their faces. When Jay parked up, you both got out to get your babies. Jay had your toddler and the bags while you had your baby. The four of you made your way to your in-laws and they greeted you all with open arms.
Your babies seemed absolutely fine with being dropped off, which you were so relieved by. Your mother in law offered you and Jay a drink but Jay quickly declined
“No it’s ok mum Y/N and I need to rush back now. Thank you for taking the babies”
He kissed your sons’ heads before dragging you back to the car with a cheeky grin, resembling a kid getting excited to play with their new toy. You and his parents laughed at his enthusiasm and you blew kisses to your babies. When you got in the car, they waved back (with the help of their grandparents) and it tugged at your heartstrings. Seeing them so far made you second guess whether you should just take them with you.
Jay could see your hesitation so he gave you a soft kiss on your cheek
“I know you already miss them baby but you’ll see them in two days. And they love being at their grandparents so you don’t need to worry your pretty head” he whispered sweetly and stroked your cheek
“And anyways, daddy is in need of mummy’s full attention”
The car journey was absolute torture for Jay as you were kissing and licking his neck whilst rubbing on his hard bulge. Seeing how much he was struggling made you giggle but you still wanted more. You unzipped his pants and slipped your hand inside to get his dick out. It looked so painfully hard and the precum leaking from the tip made your mouth water. As you pressed kisses to his jaw, you used your pointer finger to lightly run up and down his length and swirl is around his leaking tip.
“Oh fuck baby, please don’t tease me” he moaned and threw his head back. Luckily you guys had just pulled up to a red light so he rolled his eyes back and tried to catch his breath
“What do you want me to do then daddy?” You cooed and looked at his with bright, not so innocent eyes
“Suck daddy, princess. Suck me good and daddy promises he’ll make your legs shake when we get home” he stroked your head softly and slightly pulled you down towards his crotch
You felt that he had suffered enough so you instantly took his entire length into your mouth. He jolted from the sudden feeling and let out a moan that made you gush in your panties. He hips automatically thrusted into your wet mouth and you whimpered from he constant moaning. The vibrations of your satisfying whimpers added another level of pleasure for you husband that his slightly drifted on the road. From sudden shift, you took your mouth off him
“Love, if you’re not gonna concentrate on the road then I’m gonna stop” you warned
“No no no baby please carry on. I promise I’ll concentrate this time” he begged and grabbed your hands
“Hmm I don’t plan on you causing an accident so you’re gonna have to wait my love” you lightly tapped his cheek and gave him a peck before settling back into your seat
Jay zipped his head towards you in shock, thinking that you were only joking. But as he saw you clean yourself up, he let his frustrations bubble over. Without any warning, he forced his hand between your legs and rubbed at your covered heat harshly. The sudden stimulation caught you off guard and you threw your head back in pleasure
As he rubbed your clit over your lace thong, he growled out “You think you can tease me and just get away with it princess?”
His slender fingers moved the lace to the side before running down to your soaking entrance. Without needing to spit in his hand, he slipped his middle and ring finger inside, curling them to hit your g spot
At this point your were screaming as your head rolled to lean on the window. His fingers sped up and he used the palm of his hand to rub on your throbbing clit.
“Oh fuck I’m gonna cum daddy” you whimpered as tears started to fall from the overwhelming pleasure
At your warning, he retracted his soaking hand from your pussy, causing you to cry out
“That’s what you get for leaving me high and dry angel. It isn’t nice is it?” He teased whilst licking his fingers of your essence “You wanna make it up to me my pretty?”
You nodded without hesitation
“Then come suck daddy off again like a good girl”
And with that, you immediately crawled back over to his side and took his throbbing cock back into your mouth. He moaned out whilst grabbing your head to push you further down. As soon as you found your pace, he brought his hand to cup your ass before bringing his fingers back to your pussy. Your moans felt so good and they vibrated onto his dick. He was so turned on by you and couldn’t help but think about how lucky he was to have such a perfect, sexy wife who could do such nasty things to him. The squirting sounds coming from his fingers penetrating your soaking cunt made his eyebrows furrow. You were giving him such mind-blowing head that he felt like you deserved even more than him
As promised, he was driving steady on the road but he didn’t know how much longer he could wait. It would still be a few minutes till you got to the house but he needed to cum right now. So he turned a corner to a quite street and pulled up to the side
“Get up for me pretty girl. Make yourself comfortable so daddy can eat that wet pussy like you deserve”
You sat up with watery round eyes and Jay was convinced that he was going to ruin you in that exact moment. He pressed a button to make his seat recline all the way down so he was lying down. You tilted your head in confusion so he chuckled and squeezed your thigh
“Come up princess. Sit on daddy’s face like it’s your throne”
Even though you were shocked at his words, it didn’t stop you from scrambling up to crawl over his gorgeous face. He was quite literally drooling as your soaking centre hovered over him. If he had the strength to, he would’ve taken the time to admire your pussy as it clenched and dripped on top of him. But he was desperate and had forever to do that. So he grabbed your thighs and pulled you onto his waiting mouth. You tried to get up a bit so he could breathe easier but it seemed like he was against that idea. His hands forced you to rock your hips on his face so you couldn’t escape.
His perfect nose and tongue ran all over your sopping cunt and it looked like he was turning red from the lack of oxygen. Once again, you tried to get up, but he growled into your pussy, making you scream.
Finally, he moved his face away to catch his breath, but that didn’t last long as he instantly dove right back in. As you carried on grinding onto his face, you could feel a bit of movement as he brought his hand up to jerk himself off. The two of you were getting so high from the pleasure and you didn’t want it to end
One of your hands gripped onto the headrest of your seat whilst the other dragged down the fogged up window to steady yourself. The familiar sense of warmth started to build up in your stomach and your hips sped up. You grabbed onto the roots of his hair to press his face further into your pussy and that was exactly what he wanted. He moaned even louder into your cunt as you sped up and he jerking himself off faster
“Oh god I’m gonna fucking cum all over your face. Yes make me fucking cum daddy” you moaned
The two of you were moaning out and your movements were so fast as you approached your climax. Then the massive wave of pleasure washed over you as you came on his face. He carried on sucking your clit to milk it out as much as he could before he came in his hand
Jay grabbed your hips and pulled you down so he could give you some kisses to calm you down.
“That felt amazing pretty girl. So good for me” he said between pecks
You guys carried on making out with the music blaring from the radio. The kissing went on for a few minutes till you felt Jay bringing his dick to your entrance and running it up your slit. You let out a gasp as his slapped it on your sensitive clit and he laughed at your reaction
“Are you gonna let daddy fuck you princess? I know you have another in you. I’ve waited so long to fuck you like this again” he whispered into your mouth as he slowly lowered you onto his rock hard cock
He bounced you up and down, whilst thrusting up to meet your hips each time. The two of you held eye contact as your eyebrows scrunched and your mouths hung wide open, letting airy moans filter into each others mouths. His hands holding onto you were so gentle, as to not hurt you, but the movement of his hips were hard and fast, causing his balls to slap onto your ass
The hands holding onto you stroked up your back delicately before reaching your face to bring you into a sweet kiss. He stuck his tongue into your mouth to let you suck on it as you carried on riding him. The car was rocking with your movements and could definitely give away the nasty act you guys were doing
“Are you close baby? Are you gonna cum for me? Cum for daddy. That’s a good baby”
The volume of his moans increased with each thrust and you both came together. He pulled your entire weight down onto him and he wrapped his arms around you, wanting to feel every part of you consuming him. His body twitch from the intense orgasm as he remained with your body glued to his
You could tell that the pleasure was overwhelming for him as it had been a whilst since you two had been intimate. So as you tried to also catch your breath, you stroked his hair and pressed kisses to his sweaty temple. Neither of you wanted to moved so you layed on his seat, with him still buried inside of you, and listened to some music
As his breathing calmed down, Jay reached for another button to lift his seat back up. His other arm remained around your waist and his face nuzzled into your neck. Seeing his face rid of built up tension made him look so adorable that you could resist yourself from kissing him
He giggle from your cuteness as well as the tickling from your lips before moving his face to kiss you lips. His fingers danced gently on you back as he whispered
“Once I get you back home, you’re never leaving the bed. I promise you princess”
Author’s note: FINALLY!!! I’m so sorry this took so long but I hope this was worth the wait 😭 Thank you all so much for taking the time to read my works and I appreciate each and every one of you 🤍

The Peapod (The Surprise, Part 6)
Tumblr media
Emily Prentiss x fem!reader Warnings: pregnancy times, established relationship, fluff on fluff on fluff, some fairly innocent references to breasts, the most wholesome BAU content, platonic love/found family 4ever Word Count: 1.7k
Summary: You and Emily are finally ready to tell the BAU your good news, so you invite everyone over for a dinner party. Celebrations ensue.
A Note on Timeline: In my head and in this fic, we're forever stuck in the Elite Team era of the BAU (Unit Chief Hotch, Morgan, Rossi, Garcia, JJ, Reid, Emily).
Week 13: The Peapod
“What did you say this was called?” Rossi asked you, dipping a hunk of cornbread into his stew.
Light music played from the record player in the corner, and the sounds of people enjoying good food and good company surrounded you. You and Emily had invited the whole team over for dinner. Emily was dying to tell them about the baby, but she’d wanted you to be there, too. This was, you knew, Emily’s version of sharing the news with her family, especially since her mom hadn’t been very enthusiastic. The BAU was her family, and you were her family, and she loved when her two worlds collided.
“Brunswick stew,” you answered, putting a few pieces of ice in Jack’s and Henry’s bowls as you ladled so that it wouldn’t be too hot.
“Thank you much.” Will nodded at you, grinning. “Been a while since I had Brunswick stew.”
“Us southerners gotta stick together up here, right?” You placed little slices of cornbread at the corner of their bowls. “You and JJ and Henry should come over for brunch sometime. I’ll make you biscuits and gravy.”
“We’d love that,” he said warmly, settling Henry in his seat before taking his own.
“You know, Brunswick stew may have originated in either Brunswick County, Virginia, or Brunswick, Georgia, but nobody knows which one.”
You shook your head. Of course Spencer knew the origins of Brunswick stew.
He kept going, tearing bits of cornbread and sprinkling them on top of his bowl. “Originally the stew would have been made with squirrel, rabbit, or possum meat. It cooks so long that it was ideal for tenderizing wild game.”
The room went silent. You passed behind Spencer carrying your own bowl and patted him on the shoulder.
“No squirrels here, though,” you assured them. “Just pulled pork from Hill Country.”
You settled in your seat next to Emily, Derek on your other side, and looked around for a moment, smiling. You were so thankful for these people. Thankful that they took care of each other so well, that they took care of Emily so well. They did such difficult work, but they got through it together. They really were like family. Overlapping conversations washed over you, and you were content to just listen for a while.
After dinner, everyone sprawled across the apartment, conversing happily. You were standing and talking to Penelope about the new Zelda game when Emily came over and took your hand. It was time. She grinned at you, and there were no nerves, only excitement. You gave her the slightest of nods, and she tapped her wine glass.
The conversation trickled to a stop as everyone looked to Emily.
“So we actually have some news,” she started, looking at you and squeezing your hand. “Y/N and I are, uh… we’re having a baby.”
Jaws dropped and huge smiles broke out.
“What!?” Penelope squealed excitedly, wrapping both of you in a bear hug. She was echoed by the whole team’s congratulations, happy calls of “Wow!” and “Congrats!” and general sounds of happiness, even a few scattered claps.
“Which one of you’s carrying?” Rossi asked.
Spencer answered before you could. “It’s Y/N. You can tell because she’s gained weight around the face and also because her breasts are significantly bigger to prepare for breastfeeding.”
“Spence!” JJ exclaimed, smacking his arm. A happy roar of laughter broke out, and you blushed beet red.
“Reid, can we not talk about my wife’s boobs, please?” Emily chastised, but you could tell she was overjoyed. This was the reaction Emily deserved from her family. You were so glad she was finally getting it.
Hugs were given all around and happy mumblings took over the room as you and Emily were swarmed for conversations and congratulations.
Rossi put his arm around your shoulder and squeezed. “I’m happy for you kids,” he said, placing a quick kiss on your cheek.
“Thanks, Dave,” you said, smiling at him.
Penelope swallowed you up in another hug. “I am so excited!” she gushed. “You and Emily are gonna be the best, most kickass moms, and we’ll have another little BAU baby! Have you all been clothes shopping yet!? Can I come!? Do you know if it’s a boy or a girl?!”
You laughed and rolled your eyes. “Well, Emily’s pretty sure it’s a boy, but that’s based purely on her ‘profile,’ so it’s still up in the air.”
“Ugh, profilers, am I right?” Penelope groaned, commiserating with you.
JJ and Will came over to offer their congratulations, too, hugging you tightly.
“It’s the greatest gift,” Will told you. “There’s nothing like it in the world.”
“How far along are you?” JJ asked.
“Thirteen weeks.”
“Second trimester,” she observed, nodding.
“Yeah, thank god,” you said, chuckling. “Morning sickness kicked my ass.”
JJ laughed, then shuddered. “Oh, I remember. Is Emily taking good care of you?”
You couldn’t help but smile. “The best. She’s amazing. I couldn’t do it without her.”
“Well, I’ll try to keep her home as much as I can,” JJ told you with a wink.
“Thanks, JJ.” You squeezed her hand.
“And, you know, if you need anything, we’re here,” she added. “Even if it’s just to call and talk about the shitty parts of being pregnant.”
You groaned, but smiled. “Please. And thank you. Emily’s here and she’s great, but…”
“It’s different when it’s your body.”
“Yeah. It is.”
Reid came to stand awkwardly between you and JJ. You were all silent for a moment before Spencer blurted, “I’m sorry I talked about your breasts.”
You and JJ burst out laughing.
“It’s okay, Spencer,” you assured him, patting his back.
“I’m really happy for you both,” he said, so straightforward, so awkward and sincere. You loved that about him.
You noticed Hotch standing off to the side, waiting his turn to speak with you, and excused yourself to join him.
“Congratulations, Y/N,” he said, smiling softly, wrapping you in a quick hug. Hugs were rare for Hotch, and you felt honored to be a recipient.
“Thank you,” you said, and you really meant it. You stood in comfortable silence for a few minutes, watching the team gather around Emily, smiling and laughing. You beamed at her. She looked so happy. You loved seeing her happy. You loved seeing her loved as deeply and as well as her team loved her.
“I hope you know,” Hotch ventured, his voice serious. “That I do everything I can to make sure she comes back home to you safely.”
“I know,” you said, taking his hand and squeezing it. “Thank you, Hotch.”
The last to approach you was Derek, and he had already known. Emily had told him just a few days earlier, swearing him to secrecy until the dinner party.
He smirked at you, pulling you into him for a hug. You wrapped your arms around him and squeezed.
There weren’t any words needed, not with you and Derek. He was Emily’s best friend. He was over for dinner or video games or a movie at least a few times a month. He was like a brother to her. And, therefore, he was like a brother to you, too.
You both watched Emily, who was showing the rest of the team a photo of a peapod to illustrate the baby’s size. Her face was alight, her cheeks tinged pink with joy and probably a little too much wine. God, you loved her.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Prentiss so excited.”
“Me neither.”
Derek looked down at you, smiling. “You know she loves you more than anything, right?”
You nodded, feeling so happy you thought you might cry. “I know.”
“She picked good,” he said, his arm around your shoulder.
“Are you gonna be Uncle Derek?” you asked him. You hadn’t talked about it with Emily, but you were sure she’d be on board.
“Girl, I better be Uncle Derek.”
You laughed and rested your hand over your belly, your heart full. This baby was going to be so, so loved.
Later that night, Emily crawled into bed next to you, flopping onto her back and grinning like an idiot.
“Happy?” you asked, eyes shining as you stared at her.
She exhaled deeply, her tongue pushing at her bottom lip then, so quickly it took your breath away, flipped over and kissed you. It was a happy kiss, a light kiss, a kiss that wasn’t quite a kiss because you both were smiling and laughing so much.
“You make me happy,” she said, her hands gently cupping your face. You pecked her on the lips once more before her nose crinkled up in a smile and she fell to your side, wrapping an arm around your waist and laying her head on your chest.
You held her close and kissed the top of her head, running your fingers through her hair. So soft, like it was running water. It wasn’t often that Emily let you hold her, and it was even less often that she initiated it. So you held her tight, taking advantage of the rare and beautiful moment. Maybe it would become less rare, you thought. Maybe the little peapod was making Emily go soft. She already was, of course, but she had a hard time admitting it, showing it.
“You deserve to be happy,” you told her as she drew lazy circles on your stomach with her fingers. “You deserve people who love you.”
She was quiet for a while, and when she finally replied, her voice was barely above a whisper. “You really think so?”
You kissed her head a few more times for good measure. “I do.”
Emily took your hand and kissed your palm, holding onto it and twisting your wedding ring back and forth. Neither you nor Emily said anything else, and you didn’t need to. Everything unsaid had already been said, time and time again, year after year. All the words of love and dedication and admiration–you’d said them so often that sometimes the silence simply spoke for you. And sometimes you just held each other and let it.

part two | masterlist | part four
“It takes two to make a thing go riiiiight.”
You never pictured the night before your wedding like this, you think to yourself, as you listen to Fak sing, to the best of his ability in a somewhat-decent falsetto, along to the 90s hip hop classic.
Hell, you’re not sure you really ever pictured your wedding, but as you sit, surrounded by the people you love, you can’t see it going any other way than this. You watch as Richie rallies up as many people as he can for shots of Mallort, recounting that infamous morning at Ceres – a story hes told over and over again, yet still manages to tell as animated and boisterously as the first time you heard it.
You groan as you watch Richie successfully convince Gary to take a shot with him, Gary’s face twisting into a look of disgust in response to the foul taste of the Chicago liquor, as Sugar reminds him that he should know better by now.
Carmy gives your knee a squeeze while simultaneously brushing off Richie’s attempt at shoving a shot in his direction. You laugh, a warm feeling filling you to the brim (could be the beer, could be being surrounded by your people), while Sydney jumps right into her best Rob Base impression.
It just so happens that your continuously put-off ‘let’s shoot for next month’ karaoke plans with a few staff members from The Bear coincided with plans to go out with friends before the wedding, which is how you’ve found yourself here.
After a lovely dinner at The Bear, your parents went back to the hotel for the night, insisting that you two go and have your fun. And as much as you would’ve loved to have brought your mother-who-has-a-doctorate-in-music-theory to karaoke night, she much preferred a good night’s sleep.
The crowded bar claps enthusiastically as Fak and Sydney wrap up their song, finishing their truly-made-up-only-for-comedy dance moves. You giggle, exchanging another glance with Carmy, as your friends take their bows, before shuffling off of the stage.
You hear the loud boom of the emcee’s voice through the microphone as he says:
“And up next we got… Tina!”
“Let’s go, T!” you shout through hands crowded around your mouth, in an effort to increase your volume of sound.
Carmy cheers, clapping his hands together as Richie enthusiastically chants Tina’s name while Tina makes her way to the stage.
“This is gonna be good,” Sugar nudges you, from where you are, seated in between the Berzatto siblings.
You nod your head in agreement before settling in a little closer to Carmy.
“The queen, herself,” Sydney remarks, gesturing towards the stage as she and Fak both return to your table. Sydney pulls up a chair next to where you and Carmy sit while Fak joins Richie on the other side of it. “And the ONLY act that could follow our exceptional performance.”
“Well, exactly,” you agree, playfully.
You exchange a laugh with Syd, while Carmy playfully rolls his eyes at the two of you.
The crowded bar room goes quiet as soon as Tina reaches the stage, smiling nervously as she grabs the mic.
“This one goes out to our favorite Jeffrey. And his lady Jeff,” she begins, earning a round of cheers and hollers from the group you’re with. Tina blows a kiss you and Carmy’s way, before nodding at the emcee to begin.
“I love you guys.”
You hear the beginning notes of the iconic Etta James tune, gasping in anticipation of her song:
“at last my love has come along my lonely days are over and life is like a song.”
You sigh in admiration, a hand over your heart as Tina continues to sing. Her voice is powerful, soulful – perfect for the song, really – as she continues into the second verse.
“at last the skies above are blue my heart was wrapped up in clover the night I looked at you.”
This time, it’s Carmy who steals a glance your way, his mind taken back to that fateful night at a bar in Hell’s Kitchen, when he spilled his drink on you so many years ago. You’re entranced, enchanted, with Tina’s performance, and he thinks to himself, that maybe this is the best it’s ever going to get: being here with you, getting to love you, on the cusp of promising you ‘forever’ tomorrow.
Never had he expected that you’d make it this far. You’d always been so much cooler than him – well-liked, talented, funny – in and out of the kitchen, that he had no idea how the hell he was supposed to talk to you without vomiting all over your shoes out of nerves.
He can remember that night so vividly: standing there in the restroom of the bar he can barely remember the name of, while you stood across from him with the kind of glare on your face he swore could kill him. But you didn’t, and after many attempts to push you away, you asked him to be your friend, deeming it the day that started it all – a friendship that would teeter the line of friendship and something more, one that would bloom into the greatest love he’s ever known. As much as he hates to give Nate fucking Walker any kind of credit, he’ll the be first in line to say he’s glad the jagoff pushed him into you, setting it all in motion.
You can see that Carmy’s become distracted, lost in thought as the song finishes, something behind your favorite pair of blue eyes as the entire bar ignites into a huge round of celebratory claps for Tina’s performance.
You look up over at him, setting your beer bottle down on the table before leaning over to whisper in his ear.
“I can hear you thinkin’ over there, Berzatto,” you tease him quietly, pulling him from his trip down memory lane. “It’s only the night before the biggest day of your life. Relax.”
Carmy rolls his eyes playfully in response, but before he can properly respond to your jab, the emcee has begun introducing the next karaoke singers to the stage.
“Alright. Looks like I’ve got uh… three singers here this time,” the emcee says, his voice cutting sharply through the crowd of remaining cheers. “Let’s welcome Sydney back to the stage with… Sugar and… the bride to be!”
“What!?” you exclaim, your eyes wide with surprise as Sydney jumps to her feet.
“But I didn’t-,” you begin to protest, as Sugar pulls you to your feet, tugging on your arm.
“Oh there’s no way in hell we’re letting you sit this one out,” Sugar orders you, as Sydney rushes to your side, ushering you towards the stage.
“Yeah this was your idea!” Sydney simultaneously reminds you.
“Babe! Help!” you call out to Carmy, only to be met with a shrug and a look that says ‘don’t think I could if I tried.’
“Oh, he’s in on this,” Sydney adds, which does explain why he didn’t even attempt to help you when your friends began dragging you out of your chair. “So don’t even think about asking him for help.”
“Wh-? But I don’t even know what we’re singing!” you continue to protest, looking from Sugar to Sydney as they push you onto the stage with them.
“Trust,” Sydney reassures you, her face serious, while Nat slides a sash over you (one you’ve refused to wear all night) that has the word, ‘BRIDE’ printed over it in huge gold lettering. You groan, sending a glare in Nat’s direction, even though you know it’s all in good fun.
You hear Richie shout, while Fak and Marcus clap loudly, and Carmy laughs, shouting words of encouragement your way.
You know there’s no use in putting up a fight, especially since this was your idea anyways, as you begrudgingly take one of the three wireless mics. Before you can ask once more, what the hell Syd and Nat signed the three of you up to sing, a distinct slide of piano keys comes in, lighting up the karaoke screen in front of you.
You grin immediately, in recognition, and to your two best friend’s delight, as they smile too, raising the mics to your lips to sing:
“friday night and the lights are low looking out for a place to go where they play the right music getting in the swing you come to look for a king.”
You laugh as your friends point towards Carmy on the last line. The three of you continue to sing the next part with reckless abandon, and all is forgiven.
You could care less about how the three of them conspired against you to get you up here. All that matters now is that you’re here, singing one of your favorite songs with your best friends, grooving and dancing to the ABBA classic, as you prepare to marry your best friend.
“you can dance you can jive having the time of your life ooh, see that girl watch that scene digging the dancing queen.”
Tumblr media
"what good is love without any strings?" dayglow, 'close to me'
“Baby.”
Carmy groans in response, as soon as he hears the low hum of your voice.
“Good morning,” you say, a soft smile on your face as you watch him begin to blink his eyes open.
Carmy turns his head towards you, and he can’t believe he gets to wake up to this – to you – every single day.
“Hey,” he says back, a soft smile spreading across his lips. “Good Morning, sweetheart.”
“Guess what?” you ask him with the kind of glee and anticipation as a kid on Christmas morning.
“Hmm?” he hums, as you smooth a hand over his chest, your body pressed against his side as you look at your soon-to-be husband.
“We’re getting married today,” you grin, a giddiness that bubbles inside of you.
“‘S that so?” he mumbles, playfully.
“Uh huh,” you nod with a chuckle, this time playing along. “Don’t tell me you forgot.”
Instead of replying with words, Carmy swiftly wraps an arm around you, before flipping you so that you’re the one on your back this time. You let out of a shriek and a laugh as he leans down, pressing a gentle kiss to your lips before adding:
“How could I ever?”
You shrug casually, “Weeeelll…. you just have so much going on up there.” You reach up to where Carmy hovers above you, brushing a golden curl out of his eyes as you continue your little dance.
“You know, between the restaurant and all that time spent being a genius,” you joke, bantering with Carmy. “Don’t know how you have the time to remember silly little things like wedding dates and what not.”
“You’re ridiculous,” Carmy laughs, shaking his head incredulously, before pressing another kiss, this one much deeper to your lips again.
And this time, as he pulls away, he gives you one of those languid looks that pierces right through your soul replying much more seriously this time with:
“I could never forget you.”
The way he says it with such conviction takes your breath away, and you know that Carmy means it. The double meaning isn’t lost on him either.
It’s one of the reasons he called you all those years ago to come teach Marcus; it’s why you ended up in Chicago:
Because as much as he tried, as damn good at compartmentalizing as he’d always been, he really could never forget you. Carmy shakes his head once more, a playful smile on his face as he leans down to kiss you again, wondering when the hell he got this fuckin’ sentimental. As he places his mouth over yours, you’re more than happy to switch gears into doing this dance for a little longer.
Carmy traces light shapes against your skin, his mouth pouring love into yours with every kiss, with every drag of his tongue. You gasp as he grinds his hips into yours, making it clear where he’d like this all to go. You pull away, only for a moment, giggling cheekily.
“Babe, I-,” you begin to protest, as Carmy chuckles, continuing to kiss you with zero intention of stopping “We… we’re going to be late.” This time, you feel his hands snake underneath the t-shirt you’ve been sleeping in, sending chills down your spine.
“And-, Carm-, I-, I have to do my hair for-, … and what about-, my parents, they’ll-,” you stammer through, your thoughts becoming all kinds of disorganized with the way Carmy’s lips move against your neck this time.
“I’ll be quick,” he answers with an aplomb you didn’t know he had in him.
“I don’t know if that’s the flex you think it is,” you tease him as his hands begin to cup your breasts, your body responding with an involuntary arch of your back.
“How fast I can make you come? I think it might be?” he murmurs against your lips, cockily.
“Carmy,” you moan, as he begins to pull your t-shirt up higher, making it incredibly difficult to think of your to-do list for much longer.
“Oh fuck it,” you sigh, deciding that, perhaps there’s no harm in getting the honeymoon started a little early anyways.
“That’s my girl,” Carmy whispers against you, grinning like a Cheshire cat as you surrender to him.
And he’s right about this too.
How fast he can make you cum deserves all kinds of bragging rights, awards – a Nobel Peace prize, even – and you’re not sure why you thought getting a head start on doing your hair would’ve been the better idea in the first place. You spend the morning in the arms of the man you plan to spend forever with as he writes love letters, promises to give you the world, declarations of adoration with the pleasure he brings you. And besides, you’re not running all that behind on time anyways – something you realize, as the two of you get out of the shower (a round two, really).
It takes a little longer than expected – mostly due to the fact that you and Carmy can’t seem to keep your hands off of each other – but against all odds, the two of you pull up to the courthouse right on time.
It’s a sight for sore eyes: you, running hand in hand with your husband-to-be in a white, halter-cut wedding dress while Carmy follows along, in a classic black suit – no tie around the neck – as the two of you hurry into the courthouse.
Sure, you could’ve tried to get here early – saved a little time and stress – but where’s the fun in that?
The two of you approach your families, hand in hand, to the sounds of your heels clicking against the marble floors of City Hall. The actual ceremony at City Hall, you’d both decided, would be family only.
Since you weren’t making a huge deal of it, you viewed this part as necessary paperwork, while the party itself could function as the ceremony and reception. But as soon as you see the look on your parents’ faces, you know this is more than just a few signed papers. You watch as their faces change, from impatient, waiting, eager, to in awe and emotional as you walk towards them.
You hear Ava shout your name, immediately dropping her dad’s hand as she runs towards you.
“Ava!!” you exclaim, bending down in your heels and white dress to scoop her up into a hug. You spin her around, just for a moment, before setting her back down on the floor.
“You look like a princess,” she says, completely in awe, her eyes wide as she looks up at you.
“You look like a princess, sweetie,” you reply, before giving her another hug. “And you know I can’t wait to hear your song, right?”
“I picked the best one,” she grins, proudly.
“I’m sure you did,” you reply confidently, with a playful wink.
“Oh-ho! Pay up, Rick,” Sugar mutters smugly, to Richie, as Carmy busies himself with greeting both of your parents.
Richie groans, muttering something profane as he not-so-discreetly hands Nat a $20 bill, earning a quizzical look from both of your parents that travels from Carmy and then to you.
“Sorry,” Richie apologizes, this time directing this one towards your parents as he holds up both hands, respectfully bowing his head.
You send a playful glare Richie’s way, earning a sardonic laugh from Natalie, as you push right past him and over to your parents.
“Oh sweetie,” your mom gasps, pulling you in for a tight squeeze.
“Hi, Mom,” you grin, as you hug her. “Dad!”
“My God, honey, you look beautiful,” your dad says, as it’s his turn next. You hug your dad, exchanging a few words about the morning, asking how they slept, how the hotel is, as your mom and Carmy hug it out.
This time, he turns his attention towards Carmy, so you release him, letting the two of them have their moment.
Taking your chance, while your parents are otherwise distracted, you make your way over to where Sugar and Richie stand.
“What? You guys were betting on whether or not we’d be late?” you ask Sugar, an eyebrow quirked in Richie’s direction.
“Listen,” Sugar sighs, cupping your face in her hands, endearingly. “You and Carm are nothing if not consistent.” You exchange a laugh with your almost-sister-in-law because you know she’s right. “And for the record, I bet that you’d be-.”
“Just in time!” the judge says, as he approaches the six of you, slipping his judge robe over his shoulders, black leather fold pressed against his chest. “You guys ready to get started?”
Carmy looks over at you, as if he’s waiting for you to take the lead here, and you nod, before the both of you turn back to the judge.
“Yes.”
“Great,” he smiles, clapping his hands together once. “Then let’s get you two married!”
"sooner or later, you'll find yourself right where you were, on the corner went looking for her, she had somethin' to tell you, she can't quite remember, but wait for a second, it always comes back to her, you always come back to her." -- the japanese house, 'morning pages'
And after dotting all appropriate i’s and crossing all necessary t’s, with one signed marriage license later, you, Carmy, your parents, Richie and Ava, Sugar, and Judge Thompson find yourself on the green roof of City Hall.
Carmy stands across you, his hands in yours, offering you a lifetime with one look from the most expressive blue orbs you’ve ever found yourself in.
“If you’d like to say something, if you prepared any vows… now would be the time,” Judge Thompson says, offering you and Carmy both the space to do so.
“Oh I think we-,” you begin, ready to decline the opportunity since you figured you’d save it for the reception.
“Actually uh, yeah. Can we?” Carmen interjects, sending you a look of reassurance.
“Of course,” Judge Thompson nods, giving you and Carmy the floor.
“Carm, I didn’t prepare anything for-,” you begin, but he’s quick to put your mind and heart at ease and he interjects with:
“It’s okay. I did.”
“Oh.”
You hadn’t expected this, since you both agreed you’d save any kind of speeches that may or may not happen today during the reception. But as Carmy’s palms grow clammier, a nervous look in his eyes as he searches for the words he’s practiced over the last few days, it becomes clear that he’s been planning this.
“As you know… I’m not always great with words,” he begins, almost apologetically, letting out a small laugh as he looks to Richie for reassurance. In turn, Richie gives Carmy a sympathetic nod, and you’re practically melting over the fact that he probably asked Richie for help with this.
Let it rip.
“I just uh-,” Carmy stammers, because he really, really wants to get this right. “Well, I’ll keep it brief.” He takes a breath, letting all of his nerves out on the exhale before beginning again.
Let it rip, buddy.
“I have loved you for so long – I think maybe since the day you brought me soup after I uh… you know, spilled my drink on you,” he states, earning the sweetest laugh from you, your friends, and family that came to witness.
“-- so I promise to love you for even longer, for forever. You changed my life.”
You exhale, trying your best not to cry right here and now, thankful for the mysterious powers of waterproof mascara.
“Jeez, no pressure,” you joke, dryly, before taking another breath, this time approaching your words with much more seriousness.
“Carmen. I’m so happy… that I changed your life,” you begin, cheekily, earning a laugh from your witnesses once more. “Because you changed mine. And I promise to love you forever.”
‘I love you,’ Carmy mouths to you, before nodding towards the judge to signal that you’re both done with your vows.
“Alright then,” Judge Thompson smiles, looking from you and then to Carmen, before uttering the question that will change the course of your life forever.
“I do,” Carmy replies, his voice even, sure, ready.
Natalie steps up this time, handing Carmy your ring, and you watch, teary eyed and full hearted as he slides it onto your left ring finger.
“And do you take Carmen Anthony Berzatto to be your lawfully wedded husband?” Judge Thompson repeats the question, this time for you to answer.
“Yeah, why the hell not?” you reply, earning a groan from your mother and a playful chuckle from your father.
“Yes. I do.”
At Richie’s encouragement, it’s Ava this time who steps up, handing you Carmy’s ring, with the sweetest most excited smile on her face as she looks from you to Carmy. You thank her, before returning your attention to Carmy once more. His eyes search your face, and there’s something so soft, so genuine in them that you think you’re going to cry as you help him put on his new piece of jewelry as well.
“Then by the power vested in me by the State of Illinois, I now pronounce you, husband and wife,” Judge Thompson concludes, contently.
“Should we-, do we kiss?” Carmy asks, looking from you to Judge Thompson.
“I’m just a civil servant but you may, yes,” he answers lightheartedly.
“Let’s go for it,” you shrug, taking a step towards Carmy.
Instead of answering, he smiles, stepping towards you before planting one on you in front of your friends and family that were invited to this brief ceremony.
While Sugar claps gleefully, Richie claps along muttering a ‘get a room,’ while you remind Carmy to keep it PG enough for your parents. You giggle, slowly pulling away from the kiss that begins the rest of your life with the man that you love.
“We did it, baby. We’re married,” you chuckle, in disbelief.
“Finally,” Carmy sighs, and you can see his smile from his lips to the crinkles in the corners of his eyes.
It doesn’t take long for your mom to usher both you and Carmy over to a spot in the garden she thinks will be best for pictures, just as the photographer arrives. She wasn’t wrong when she insisted you hire one, that you’d want to remember this day for the rest of your life. The photographer, who is incredibly talented, gets the shots needed up here in the garden, then downstairs, and outside, before you’re all off to Sugar’s place for the reception.
As you and Carmy sit in the car, having taken a separate one than your parents, you’re giddy with anticipation.
It’s all so surreal.
Never in his life did Carmy picture it ever getting this good, but as he looks over at you, your head resting on his shoulder, he presses a kiss to the top of your head, smiling to himself.
“We did it, sweet girl. We’re married,” he says, repeating your words from earlier.
“Yeah,” you grin, lifting your head off of his shoulder.
“We are, Bear.”
"give your heart and soul to me, and life will always be la vie en rose."
Tumblr media
“No, Sugar! That’s not supposed to go out yet. Everything’s goin’ out family style. Let’s just take out the apps for-,” Carmy exclaims, stressed over the execution of your wedding reception-slash-brunch, because he just can’t help himself.
“Fuckin’ Christ, Bear!” she snaps at her brother. “Will you calm down and let us handle this?”
“I just want everything to-,” Carmy begins, his face blushing a shade darker.
“To go right. We know. And we know we’re just taking out apps, alright? Everyone else is outside, and everyone’s having a good time so just… relax,” she suggests, her tone serious because she’s just about to kick Carmy out of the kitchen.
Carmy shifts nervously, hyper-fixating on the happenings of the kitchen, his eyes tracking the movements of one of his caterer, Derek’s, sous chefs. It’s almost as if he needs to give himself a distraction as he asks, blankly:
“Do you uh… you think Mom is actually gonna show?”
Sugar pauses, the question throwing her.
“I… I don’t know. I called her yesterday. She never picked up. What do you think?” she replies, her voice quiet.
With your encouragement, you and Carmy had sent his mother an invitation to the brunch, only it’s been Sugar who’s followed up with her.
“We did what we needed to and if she doesn’t come, then she doesn’t come. I’m not pushin’ it,” Carmy had explained, justifying his actions, or rather, lack there of, to you.
She’s doubtful, but Nat can’t help the tiny glimmer of hope she has in her heart that Donna might show, even if she knows it’s unrealistic. In fact, her mom had barely been interested in stopping by as of late, ever since she’d told the Berzatto matriarch that she was pregnant. She keeps telling herself that it doesn’t matter – that it’s probably better if Donna doesn’t show – but it doesn’t help ease the disappointment she feels about the situation as a whole.
“Doubt it, honestly. Never even got an RSVP so,” Carmy shrugs, his eyes following one of the caterers as the woman plates a few Hors d'oeuvres on a large serving platter.
Before Sugar can say anything else about their mom, Carmy’s impulse takes over as he opens his mouth to give feedback to one of Derek’s assistants.
“Carmy!” she snaps, blocking his pathway with her body, before repeating one more time:
“Let. Us. Handle this.”
“I mean, are any of us actually surprised, Nat?” Sydney adds, as soon as she enters the kitchen from where she’s been outside in the backyard, in search of another plate to bring out. “He’s a control freak! We know this!”
“I-,” Carmy starts, knowing it’s no use protesting, as both Sugar and Syd begin guiding him out of the kitchen and into the living room.
“C’mon, Carm. Why don’t you go see what your wife is up to?” Sydney suggests, emphasizing your new title, earning a snicker from Natalie.
“Who’s wife? This wife?” you ask, as soon as your feet hit the bottom of the staircase.
“Woah,” is all Carmy says. He can’t help but stare, gawking at you in your new dress.
You’ve changed out of your near-floor length wedding dress into a sleeveless white blazer dress that’s much more friendly to hanging out with your friends and family outside, kept your hair the same, and put on one of those super stay red lipsticks that you’re eager to put through its paces.
It’s as if time stops when he sees you, and Sugar and Syd both notice, using this time to retreat back to their duties. The only thing that can break his focus right now is the way that you let a carefree laugh fly from your lips, as soon as you see that Natalie’s using the future baby’s baby gate that Nat must’ve purchased early, to officially block Carmy from coming back to the kitchen.
“What?” Carmy asks, only to be met with a gesture towards what Natalie is doing.
He frowns, immediately seeing the baby gate his sister has put up.
“You know, I’m not a baby,” he pouts at his sister.
“Then stop acting like one!” she parries right back, before disappearing into the kitchen to help out your caterer.
Quick to console your husband, you wrap your arms around your neck, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips.
“They’re only trying to make sure we have a good time, Bear,” you offer, sympathetically, only to be met with a heavy sigh because you know it feels near-impossible for him not to be in the kitchen.
“You trust Derek right?” you ask this time, referring to the caterer that Carmy hand-picked for your wedding.
“Yeah,” he nods.
“Okay. Then let’s go out there. Make our grand entrance,” you suggest, a playful smile on your lips.
“Yeah,” Carmy nods again, this time a little more sure about taking a step away from what’s happening inside the kitchen. You take his hand, leading him towards the back door that opens up to the backyard.
You’re truly amazed at what everyone involved has been able to do this morning, while you and Carmy were off at the courthouse getting married. Long tables pushed together and covered with tablecloths function as the main attraction of the you-and-Carmy-wedding-reception-brunch, filled with ceramic plates, printed menus, apps on serving platters, taper candles and flowers in all kinds of little to big vases.
The minute the two of you enter the backyard area that’s been transformed into a wedding venue, you’re met with cheers, ooo’s and aaaaah’s, claps, and congratulations by your friends and family.
“Sugar really knocked this out of the park,” Carmy says, in awe as he takes in the scene. “Okay, fine. I’ll just have to trust, I guess.”
You nod, happy to hear the confidence in his voice as you agree, “That’s my guy!”
There’s a banner that hangs across a much smaller table, the one that holds the stunning wedding cake Marcus has made for you that reads, Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Berzatto.
“See? I told you I couldn’t wait to be Mrs. Berzatto,” you joke with Carmy, as the two of you walk hand in hand towards the table.
“I think I like the sound of that more than I should,” Carmy smirks, a glimmer in his eyes that says ‘I can’t wait to get you alone.’
“Can’t wait for you to show me later,” you wink, referring to the long weekend you plan on spending with Carmy as a pre-honeymoon. “C’mon. We should probably go say hello.”
“So… you two married now or what?” Marcus asks, as soon as the two of you approach the table.
You hold up your left hand, showing off your new ring, earning grins and more cheers from your friends and family.
“That’s what I’m talking about!” he celebrates, while Tina simultaneously and enthusiastically cries out: “Congratulations, babies!”
The plan is to divine and conquer. While you chat with Gary, Carmy lets himself become enveloped in Tina’s arms and praise, as the two of you make your way down the table saying hello to your guests: your parents, Marcus, Tina, Ebra, Fak, Gary, a few others from the restaurant, while.
Carmy’s glad you decided to keep this wedding small: close friends and family only, because he’s not sure he could’ve done any more of this. It’s just close friends from the restaurant and your parents. You’d even decided earlier that this weekend would be chill enough that you’d celebrate with Maya and Liz a few months later when you and Carmy stop in New York before the official honeymoon, planning another celebration with your New York people for later.
Besides, you don’t mind celebrating you and Carmy a few more times, after all.
Finally, you’re both able to settle into the empty chairs seated right next to your parents in the middle of the table labeled ‘bride’ and ‘groom.’ It’s a Saturday well spent, being celebrated by some of your favorite people in the world on a day you made a promise to your favorite person in the world. It doesn’t take long for everyone in the kitchen to join you at the table: Sugar, Richie, Sydney, and Pete, and once the meal is served, family style, you’re pulling up chairs and insisting that Derek and his team join you as well.
The menu is perfect, and you can see why Carmy’s been trying to get this guy to come work for him for so long. Next to Carmy’s, this carbonara might be your second favorite carbonara on the planet. After all the eating, drinking, and merry-making, it’s Richie who steps up to start the speeches, gently tapping a butter knife against a champagne glass as he stands at the table.
“Can I get everyone’s attention?” he asks, his voice loud. Richie raises his champagne glass as he begins his speech with:
“Now as the best man and this Bobby Flay-motherfucker's cousin, I think I earn the right to kick this thing off, eh?” earning a laugh from everyone around the table.
“To Carmy and his much, much better half,” he continues, earning a laugh from everyone around the table. Your mom squeezes your hand under the table, and out of the corner of your eye you can see Sydney nudging Carmy softly as Richie addresses you.
“You once made me $150 richer.” You laugh, exchanging a look with your now-husband, as you fondly remember the day you returned to Chicago, only to learn that the entire restaurant staff of The Bear had been betting, not on if, but on when you’d return.
“You see, we all took bets – all of us – that you were comin’ back after that first week you spent here in Chicago, and you know why? I think it was obvious to any jagoff with a pair of eyes that what you and Cousin had was something special – something not to be missed, or overlooked, or skipped over. And thank God you two idiots woke up and figured it out yourselves. You did good, cousin. And I know your brother would’ve wanted to be here for this. I love you, man. I love you both.”
“To this very special day, and to the rest of your lives. Cheers.”
“Cheers!” everyone repeats, raising their glasses, clinking in celebration.
The upside to having a small wedding party is having a small wedding party, and the downside is that everyone who feels the need to get in a word does so. While Ebraheim waxes on about love as a metaphor, Marcus keeps his toast short, leading to the cutting of your wedding cake:
Vanilla bean cake, with a clementine curd, a swiss meringue buttercream, decorated with delicate flowers, citrus, and dollops of curd to finish.
Richie slips out with Pete momentarily, earning a few quizzical looks from both Carmy and Nat as she gets up from the table to make sure they’re not trading punches in the driveway. It’s not till Richie returns with Pete, carrying a rented little karaoke machine for Ava. Hand in hand, you watch as Natalie guides Ava up and out of her chair, and over to the head of the table, handing her the microphone.
“You ready, sweetheart?” she asks, earning a confident nod from Ava.
The beginning of the famous Taylor Swift begins to play, and you and Carmy exchange a knowing look as she begins to sing along.
“we were both young when i first saw you i close my eyes and the flashback starts i'm standin' there on a balcony in summer air.”
As Natalie and Pete watch on, Pete hugs his wife close to her, tears in his eyes as he whispers:
“This is going to be us very, very soon.”
“Yeah,” Nat nods, holding back her own tears as she notices how proud Richie looks, and how happy Ava seems to be.
It’s not that she wants Donna here. Realistically, she knows that it would be a nightmare, most likely descending into drama and chaos from the minute she walked in, but she can’t believe that her own mother didn’t come to her son’s wedding. She shouldn’t be surprised, but it hurts more than she imagined, doing this, watching Carmy get married, having this baby with Pete, all without her.
Ava finishes her Taylor Swing song to a resounding and enthusiastic round of applause. Marcus cheers her on while you and Carmy share a soft, chaste kiss, welcoming Ava with open arms as she runs towards you.
“That was so good, baby,” Richie exclaims, when it’s his turn to scoop Ava up into his arms as you get out of your seat. Allowing Richie to sit next to Carmy while the two gush over her performance, you get up, eager to help put the karaoke machine away.
As she watches, Nat reminds herself that this is what family looks like – this is the family she wants for her baby – even if it means something, someones, are missing.
And it’s as if she can’t hold back her tears anymore, excusing herself as she jerks her body away from Pete’s grasp, hurrying back inside so as not to cause a scene.
“What just-?” Pete begins.
“I’ll go,” you assure him, having witnessed the whole interaction. “I-, it’s not you, Pete. I’ll go.”
It doesn’t take you long to find Nat, though she’s not where you expected her to be, having run all the way upstairs when you find her sitting on the floor of the baby’s nursery – one you helped paint and get ready over a month ago.
“Hey, everything alright?” you ask, as you gently push the door open.
“Yeah, no, I’m fine,” she sniffles, wiping tears out of her eyes as she realizes she’s no longer alone.
“Nat, what… what’s going on?” you ask her, joining her on the floor.
But it seems as if your question only makes it worse as her face crumbles once more, beginning to cry.
“Oh no! I-, Nat, sweetie, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean it even worse.”
“No, no, you didn’t. It’s just these… stupid pregnancy hormones!” she exclaims, frustratedly, earning a small laugh from the both of you.
She takes a beat, and then a breath, and then finally, she feels ready to tell you.
“It’s Mom,” she admits, even though she really doesn’t want it to be. “I just can’t believe she didn’t show. It’s stupid, I know.”
You nod in understanding, before scooting a little closer to her, “It’s not stupid! And I’m sorry. For the both of you, really. Carmy doesn’t want to talk about it but, I know he’s some combination of relieved and disappointed too.”
Sugar sighs, “Yeah that uh, that sums it up pretty well. About anything involving Mom these days.”
Nat takes another breath, and another beat, because she knows she’s safe to share this with you.
“I just… I’ve just been thinking a lot… with the baby and everything. About family. About motherhood. I mean, your parents are so great and I-. I’m just sad for us, you know?”
“I’m sad for you too,” you empathize, rubbing soothing circles on her back, before leaning back on both of your hands instead.
“God, I’m so sorry. It’s your wedding day and I’m causing all the drama,” Nat begins to apologize.
“Oh, you have nothing to be sorry for!” you interrupt her, quick to dismiss any notion of that. “You lent us your house and put together all of this in your backyard on top of accompanying us to the courthouse! You have nothing to apologize for.”
Sugar nods slowly, processing what you’ve just said, realizing that you and Pete have been such big role models of unconditional love for her.
“Wanna know what I think?” you ask, your voice a little more optimistic this time.
“What’s up?” she asks back, stealing a glance your way.
“I think… that now that I’m a Berzatto… and with your little Bear on the way,” you begin, painting her the picture. “We’ve got a whole new chance to write a new chapter for the Berzattos.”
She looks your way once more, because these are the words she didn’t know she needed to hear.
“And with that… we can make this… make our families anything we want them to be filled with love, and joy, and-, well, only a little drama because you know, you guys are… you. But… Sug. This can all start with us, you know?”
“You really think so?” she asks you, a hopeful look in her eyes.
“Yeah,” you answer, confidently.
She nods slowly once more, almost as if she’s letting herself believe them.
“Thank you. For checking in on me. For… this,” she says softly, sniffling again.
“That’s what sisters are for,” you repeat her words back to her, one’s that she’s said to you time and time again.
“We should probably get back out there,” Sugar suggests, sitting up a little taller this time.
“Yeeeaaaaahhhhh,” you sigh, disappointedly, this time making a joke as you continue with: “We don’t want to start any rumors about us running away together.
Nat snorts with laughter, thanking you for always making her laugh, as you stand up, making your way to your feet. You hold out your hands, helping Nat up to hers this time, before the two of you head back downstairs.
“Hey,” Carmy says, as soon as he sees the two of you. “Pete said you disappeared.”
“We were just talking about some stuff,” you reply, sharing a look with Sugar before releasing her hand.
“I’ll leave the two of you to it,” she says, before slipping out through the back door.
“Everything okay?” Carmy asks, his brow knitted together in concern.
You nod, “Yeah, she’s alright. How’re you doing?”
“Today? I’m the luckiest man in the world,” he replies, a smile on his lips that makes you melt.
“Damn right you are,” you reply, pressing your lips against his.
It’s a private moment for just you two, where you can kiss him like you want to, and you have to admit that the lipstick holds up. Wrapping your arms around his neck as his hands go to your waist, you propose a grand idea to your husband:
“Now that cake has been cut… what do you say… we spend a little more time with our guests, say our goodbyes… then we get our honeymoon started early? Think uh… our room at the Langham should be ready by now.”
“Thought we already did that this morning,” Carmy smirks, kissing you again.
You giggle, leaning your forehead against his, “You know what I mean, jerk.”
Carmy scoffs, shaking his head incredulously as he feigns hurt, “Married for a few hours and you’re already insulting me.” Instead of adding anything else, he simply pulls you in closer by your hips murmuring against your lips:
“Alright then, Mrs. Berzatto. Then let’s go say goodbye to our guests.”
“it's a love story, baby, just say, "yes" – taylor swift, ‘love story’

The vibrant lights of the fairground glittered in the twilight, their colors reflecting in Y/N’s eyes as she glanced at Dean, walking beside her. It had been forever since they’d had a night to themselves. Hunting had a way of eating up their time, and finding a moment for a proper date was like trying to catch lightning in a bottle.
But tonight was different—tonight was just for them.
There was a playful glint in his green eyes, and Y/N felt a warmth in her chest, knowing how much he’d gone out of his way to make this night special. The distant music of a carousel drifted through the cool night air, mixing with the laughter of children and the hum of the fairground’s attractions.
Y/N strolled beside Dean, their fingers loosely intertwined. The air was filled with the smell of fried food and the distant hum of carnival rides. After what felt like ages of hunting, running, and surviving, this night was a much-needed break—a real date night.
Dean glanced down at her, a playful smirk on his lips. “So, where to first?”
Y/N scanned the fair, her eyes landing on the haunted house at the far end, its cheesy facade promising thrills and chills. Her face lit up with excitement, and she gave Dean a little tug. “The haunted house! Come on!”
But instead of the eager grin she expected, Dean hesitated. “Eh, I’m not really feeling the haunted house tonight.”
Y/N blinked in surprise. Dean, of all people, loved scary stuff—movies, haunted attractions, real-life monsters, the whole deal. This was his kind of thing. “You’re kidding, right? Since when do you pass up a haunted house?”
He shifted on his feet, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. “I dunno. Just looks… lame. We’ve seen scarier stuff on a Tuesday.”
Before she could push him further, a familiar voice rang out. "Y/N! Dean!" Turning, she saw Charlie waving enthusiastically, a group of her friends in tow.
Charlie jogged over with a grin. “You guys going into the haunted house? You gotta come with us!”
Y/N turned to Dean, giving him her best puppy-dog eyes. “See? Even Charlie’s in.”
Dean sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Alright, alright, you go. I’ll catch up in a bit. Just, uh… got something I need to take care of first.”
Y/N narrowed her eyes, suspicious but intrigued. “What are you up to?”
Dean flashed her a mischievous grin. “You’ll see. Trust me.”
With a roll of her eyes, Y/N followed Charlie and the others into the haunted house, though she couldn’t help but glance over her shoulder one last time at Dean. He was up to something, she just knew it.
As soon as she disappeared into the dim entrance, Dean’s focus shifted to the shooting gallery just a few booths away. He’d spotted the giant teddy bear earlier—so big, it looked like it could swallow a person whole. He knew Y/N would love it. She never admitted it, but she had a soft spot for stuff like that, and Dean was determined to win it for her.
Dean sauntered up to the booth, where a gruff-looking carnie was leaning against the counter. “Three bucks for five shots,” the man said, tossing Dean an air rifle.
Dean grabbed it and sized up the targets—a row of small, spinning bulls-eyes. Easy enough. He aimed and fired.
Miss.
Frowning, he adjusted his stance and fired again.
Miss.
“Come on…” Dean muttered under his breath. This wasn’t right. His aim was solid, always had been. But every shot was veering just wide of the mark. He fired three more times, missing every shot.
"Son of a..."
“Another round?” the carnie asked, smirking.
Dean grumbled and pulled out another three dollars. “Yeah, yeah, let’s do it again.”
The second round went no better. Dean paid up for a third, and then a fourth. By the time he’d sunk eighteen bucks into the game, he was visibly frustrated.
“This is crap,” he muttered, handing over another crumpled bill. He picked up the rifle again, narrowing his eyes at the targets. He took aim, held his breath, and fired.
Miss.
"Seriously?" Dean growled, his patience wearing thin. "These guns are awful."
The carnie chuckled, crossing his arms. "Nothing wrong with the guns, pal. Maybe it’s the shooter."
Dean’s eyes narrowed dangerously. “Oh, is that so?”
Without another word, he reached under his jacket and pulled out his own gun. The carnie’s cocky grin faltered as Dean leveled the weapon at the targets.
"Whoa, man, easy!" the carnie stammered, holding up his hands. "It’s just a game!"
Dean didn’t flinch. With a calm, practiced aim, he fired, knocking down the targets one by one with perfect precision. The sound of the shots echoed around the booth, drawing a few stares from passersby.
Dean lowered his gun, turning back to the now visibly nervous carnie with a smug grin. "Told you it wasn’t me."
The carnie swallowed, his bravado completely gone. “Alright, alright, you win. Just… take the bear and no more funny business, alright?”
Dean pointed to the largest one—the giant teddy bear that was practically his size. The man hauled it down from the shelf and handed it over, grumbling under his breath.
Dean grabbed the bear, its massive fluffy arms flopping over his shoulders as he carried it through the crowd. He had to shift his weight to keep from stumbling, but the grin on his face was worth it. Y/N was going to lose it when she saw this.
Meanwhile, Y/N stepped out of the haunted house, laughing with Charlie. The haunted house had been cheesy fun, full of jump scares and fake ghosts, but it was nothing compared to the real horrors she and Dean faced every day.
As she looked around for Dean, she didn’t see him anywhere. Her brow furrowed. “Where did he go?”
Charlie shrugged, glancing around. “Maybe he ditched us to get snacks?”
Before Y/N could answer, she saw movement—something big, something furry. Her eyes widened as Dean emerged from behind a booth, struggling with the gigantic teddy bear.
“Dean!” Y/N gasped, her face breaking into a smile as she jogged toward him. “What... is this?”
Dean dropped the bear in front of her, standing tall with a proud grin on his face. “Surprise, sweetheart. Thought you could use a new hunting partner.”
Y/N couldn’t stop laughing as she threw her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. "I love it! You're ridiculous, you know that?"
Dean wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. “Yeah, but you love me for it.”
She leaned up, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. "That, I do."
As they strolled through the crowed, the colorful fairground lights flickered around them, casting a warm glow over the moment. Dean squeezed her hand, the weight of the world forgotten, if only for a little while.

the rest of you, the best of you (honey, belongs to me)
Ao3 | 1.6k words | Angel's POV
Early into their relationship, Angel and Davey go clubbing. An unsuspecting incubus flirts with Angel after a run in. David tries to keep his cool.
When you met Davey, you would never have pegged him for a clubbing kind of guy. It didn’t match his burly, intimidating, minimalist vibes. Perhaps you could imagine him as a club bouncer, but when you did, you got too focused on the image of his biceps bulging through the thin sleeves of a too-tight black tee-shirt, those dark, sharp eyes scanning a crowd of bodies with practiced precision.
Instead, you were offered with a much better outcome when you finally worked up the nerve to ask him after a few months of dating, he enthusiastically agreed, even offered to take you to an empowered club he frequented. You had expected him to shoot you down outright, or begrudgingly agree at the very best. He surprised you, like he so often did, and you found yourself just this side of tipsy, his arms around you, your bodies keeping time against each other to the beat of the deafening music.
Davey knew exactly what he was doing. He pulled you to the dance floor as soon as you’d ordered your fruity little tequila number (which he had paid for). His left hand rested on your hip, his big fingers seeming to wrap all the way around you, the right protectively curled around your shoulders. His right hand was in the perfect position to cover your drink, which he held more than you did. He bent so his breath was hot on your neck, his nose pressed behind your ear. He seemed lost in the music and movement, but every time you bent back to seek out his lips, his eyes were scanning your surroundings, eyeing suspicious figures, keeping everyone away from you, no matter how tempting you both knew you were.
Protective and tuned in, even when you were grinding your ass back on him. David Shaw was a man of restraint if nothing else. You couldn’t pretend that it didn’t bug you, just a bit. You were putting on such a nice show for him but he was too busy playing guard dog to enjoy it. Not to mention that he didn’t even order a drink for himself. It seemed that Davey had no intention of having fun for himself, just watching the club like a hawk while you did.
You spun around, wrapped your arms around his neck as he took hold of your drink without missing a beat. You swayed with the music, pulled him down into a devastating kiss. You knew him well at this point, at least well enough to know that just a swipe of your tongue on his bottom lip would have his resolve crumbling, and all it would take was a nip of your teeth to pull him down into your orbit. Davey was an attentive person. Sometimes, you just had to grab that attention for yourself.
He let out a deep, rumbling moan into your kiss, a sound you felt more than heard as his grip on your hip tightened. Your mind swam as you pictured bruises in the shape of his fingers pressed into your skin. You couldn’t hear him speak over the music, but you knew the shape of that word on his stupidly full lips.
“Angel…” it was tinged with warning. Behave, he told you, don’t test me, don’t push me, or else.
You knew what or else was. You happened to like or else. You grinned against his lips, pulled him down by the lapels of his leather jacket, and more shouted than whispered in his ear;
“I’ve gotta pee!” You danced away from his grasp, weaving through the packed bodies in the dance floor, your eyes never leaving his. He was a head taller than every other person on the floor, so he kept eyes on you as you cut across the floor and past the bar, until you turned the corner to the bathrooms.
Somebody got in your way before you could gain your bearings. You ran straight into a wide, warm chest. You stumbled back and came face to face with a man dressed in a sheer, unbuttoned shirt. His skin was sun kissed and stretched over rippling abs. He was big, but not like Davey was. Davey was built for actual strength. He was built to carry large loads over long periods, to maintain as long as he needed to, to pull cars a few yards by their fucking bumpers (a feat you’d seen him do when your Camry got stuck in a ditch a few months ago). This man had muscle, but it was all for show. Supple, shining skin over carefully targeted muscle groups. A six pack. Broadened shoulders. A ‘v’ cutting down below his sinfully tight pants.
Not your type, but you could appreciate a pretty person even so. He smiled, his teeth white and just this side of too sharp. A long, pink tongue ran across his bottom lip.
“Woah,” his voice left his trim chest in a pur, one hand landing on your shoulder to steady you, “easy, gorgeous. Don’t go falling for me just like that.”
“Sorry,” you squeaked. You assumed Davey was still in the crowd on the dance floor, and your head spun to try and catch a look at him. This guy didn’t look like the type to try anything stupid, but you knew that looks could be deceiving.
“Easy,” he repeated, withdrawing his hand. He flashed his palm to you, mock surrender. “I won’t touch.”
“Thanks,” you laughed softly. You felt awkwardness fall over as you took a purposeful step back. “Sorry, I just-”
“No, not at all!”
“-college town, you know?” You laughed and the stranger reciprocated. He widened your space in turn and stuffed his hands in his pockets. You didn’t know pants that tight could have pockets. He was the picture of innocence, not close enough to grab you, his eyes respectfully holding yours. Not that kind of guy, it seemed. The tension leaked out of your body with your heartbeat.
“I get it.” The stranger grinned. “Somebody as breathtaking as you, you’ve got to keep an eye out. It’s good to have a healthy suspicion of incredibly attractive people.”
“Like yourself.” You shot back.
“Angel,” Davey’s voice was in your ear all of a sudden. His heat was pressed into your back. You jumped, surprised, but then eased back into his solid presence. An arm thicker than your neck snaked around your shoulders, pulling you back into him.
“Davey,” you gasped, reaching up to rest a hand on his cheek. He was bent over you, curling his massive body around yours protectively. Those dark, intense eyes were locked on the stranger, something dangerous in his face. “I ran into him. Chill.”
“Sorry,” the stranger stepped back from you again, all hints of his playful flirting gone. “I wasn’t hitting on your mate. That’s just how I talk.”
Mate. You mused over the word. That must have been a wolf thing, because Davey reacted to it physically. His hand tightened on your shoulder, his breath quickened on your neck.
Davey considered the stranger for a moment longer, his eyes narrowed and suspicious, before leaning back. He nodded once, decisively, and started pulling you away. You waved absently to the stranger, but your attention was focused solely on Davey. He had this look of intensity to him that you’d never seen before. Your drink was gone, and Davey pulled you away from the bars and any chance for you to get another and towards the door. You stuttered out a protest, but his hand was wrapped tightly around yours. He pulled you along, not fast or hard enough to hurt, but enough for you to have to rush to keep up with his stupidly long legs.
“Davey,” you gasped as cool night air slammed into you. The line to the club was wrapped around the building. If you left now, it would take forever to get back in. You shivered and locked your arms around your middle.
“Sorry,” he grumbled. He had released your hand as soon as you were outside, and had both of his placed on his hips. He leant his head back, his eyes closed, and was letting measured, timed breaths out into the air. Puffs of breath like smoke obscured his face. “I thought I was gonna kill that guy.”
A laugh bubbled out of you, but you realized when he didn’t laugh in turn that he was serious.
“He was nice.” You said, defensively. “He only touched me to steady me. He stepped back right away.”
“I know.” Davey sighed. He brought a hand up to scrub at his face. He cut his gaze to you and, after a moment, tugged off his big, leather jacket and wrapped it around your shoulders. It swallowed you up, encased you in his warmth. “I’m being… unreasonable.”
You stared up at him for a while, watching as he squeezed one big hand into a fist over and over, tension etched across his shoulders.
“Is this a wolf thing?” You asked softly, a smile evident in your voice. He looked back down at you, his eyebrow quirked in question. “Like… animal possessiveness or something?”
He stared down at you in silence for a long moment before his face split into that sharp-toothed grin. He laughed low and easy, rolling his shoulders to chase away his tension.
“Come on, menace.” He held out his hand for you, waited for you to take it. “If another incubus touches you tonight, I’ll end up in jail.” “Incubus?” You balked. “What is an incubus?”

i just realized that we haven’t actually seen till talk. like, maybe i missed it and it’s somewhere hidden on the patreon, but i’ve only seen interviews from mizi, sua, ivan, and luka. so we’ve never actually gotten a chance to hear from his mouth what he thinks or feels—and it’s so bizzare to realize this bc he’s so utterly expressive in his music that i felt like i already know him, that i’ve seen his heart. anyways, i’m bringing this up because i’m also realizing that i can’t read him at all right now after round 6. not conclusively at least. i don’t think anyone really knows him really, we only see him through ivan’s eyes or through till’s love for mizi, but very little about himself. idk i think it’s interesting and i think it’s really up in the air how till reacts to luka. i think he might surprise everyone again
[I found this in my drafts!!! I'm so sorry for replying late, a lot of things ended up piling up.... this shares basically the same sentiment w one of my previous posts but here it is anyway]
That's one of the things I've been anguishing over since February! We don't know what Till is thinking, we don't know how he feels about everything so far, if he's even capable of feeling anything at all in these circumstances. There's a plethora of Ivan content we can use for analysis, but Till has barely had any arts center on him at all. It makes sense, of course. Ivan and Luka must be PR darlings with their well-behaved, perfect personas and charismatic facades. Mizi and Sua were simply two lovely girls enthusiastic to share their dreams with the world before everything inevitably fell apart. They're perfect for interview. Out of everyone participating in Alien Stage, Till is the most elusive because he actively fights back against publicity. Even in TOP 3 he's running away from the set, forced into position, and when the camera gets near enough, he covers it with his hand. There's no doubt that many alien journalists avoid interviewing Till in fear of him biting their hand off or something. He hates aliens, that's a solid fact. There's no way he'd play nice and entertain them for an interview. Even in his currently disassociative state he'd be unable to answer any interview questions, and he doesn't have a good public image to uphold so he wouldn't care anyway. What a guy. Bearing so much of his heart and so little of his mind.

New Year, New Kisses
fluff; wc: 1,42 k .
ot5 x fem reader!; kiss kiss fall in love; tw: none .
Txt as how they would kiss they’re partner when the clock strikes Midnight.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・
✩ Soobin — Surprise!
You were completely captivated by the whole atmosphere of the New Years Eve party this year, maybe because it was your first time or maybe because Soobin was right by your side. You didn’t know yet if it was the hand that held yours so delicately and sometimes played with your fingers under the table or the dazzling look Soobin gave you every time you locked eyes but definitely sometimes was stirring in your chest, making you a little bit more expectant of the upcoming count for the New Year. As the time approached, Soobin gave your hand a little squeeze to get your attention. “Wanna get some fresh air?”  As if a teenager in love you were you nodded so enthusiastically that his own lips curved into a pretty smile too; you went to the other side of the party, a little outdoor decorated space with dangling lights and the perfect view for the firework show. But just as you were to turn round and compliment the place, you felt Soobin’s soft lips pecking you quickly as the background music faded away into the chanting of Happy New year and the firework’s exploding in the sky, just as they were exploding in your mind when he shyly backed away for a bit “Surprise?” You threw yourself into his arms and started pecking his face as he laughed like a little kid, you definitely hit the jackpot with him.
✩ Yeonjun — “I don’t need no light to see you shine”
“Look at you…” Yeonjun trailed as he made you twirl while smiling from ear to ear; your first New Year’s Eve together, definitely something he would never forget, including this very moment with both of you deciding to stay home and wear matching fuzzy sweaters and pajamas; the way your laughter and smile could lit up any room being in a fancy party or not, was one of the things Yeonjun was most grateful for: You didn’t knew how much you illuminated his life, like an ever burning star. “The socks are my favorite part” you said as the both of you lay in the couch, cuddling into each other’s embrace; of course, those were your favorite, it was a gift from him and now seeing him wearing a pair too, brought you so much warmth and joy that you felt like the night couldn’t even get better. “This is my favorite part” He said as he took your hand and guided the both of you to your balcony; Yeonjun decided to hug you from behind, arms linked in your waist and head resting on your shoulder; as he started to count in a whisper to your ears, you smiled and just as he got to the number one and the first firework exploded right behind your back; you cupped his cheeks and kissed him, for a long moment, time no longer existed. Just the two of you, lips molding together, dancing in a waltz that was made for them. When you separated, trying to search for some air with blushing cheeks and huffed breaths, you still managed to let out a cheeky “For many more like these” Yeonjun smiled and quickly hugged you like a Teddy bear, while kissing the crown of your head; he thanked whoever was above you two for putting you in his life.
✩ Beomgyu— “Don’t know what to do without you”
“I thought you hated these kinds of things” Beomgyu said as he motioned the room with his finger and rolled his eyes, imitating you but all you could do was smile and gave him a slap in the arm playfully. After all, it was true. You didn’t like these parties nor the formalities that came with them, the only reason that you came this year was… “It must be uncomfortable to you being here against your will, but don’t worry…” He lowered his tone to a whisper and got closer to your ear “I’ll get you out of here in a flash” He sat again by your side and you gave him a confused but amused smile. If it was one exception to this parties and the only reason you came this year… was him. Choi Beomgyu. “And how would you do that, smartie?” You chuckled and he whipped his head in your direction, clearly enjoying this new atmosphere between you two. He signaled the clock and then the exit, all with a very suspicious grin in his beautiful features. When the counting started, you quickly excused yourself and as promised, he took your hand in his and you both ran away in giggles to the exit. Once out and the fireworks exploding as your background music to run away from here, Beomgyu sighed but it wasn’t until his lips crashed into yours that your heartbeat got ten times faster and blood suddenly rushed into your cheeks. “I wanted to confess at Midnight!” he pouted and you gave him a smack on the arm, again. As if he didn’t knew the answer yet. “I don’t know what I would do without you” and then when he gave you those puppy eyes, your shell finally shattered as if waiting on cue “…And I have always liked you too”
✩ Taehyun — About to back away but…
“Hey! Kang Taehyun!” At the mention of his full name by you, he stopped in his tracks. Did he made the right choice? At first it sounded like confessing on New Years was going to be a great idea but that expression on your face. The way you just stared at him with a perplexed look was enough for him to convince himself that he indeed, made a mistake. “Listen to me!” You said, and now it was clear as the day that you had something on your mind too, he just didn’t wanted to gave you that pitiful expression he knew he had. “Gosh! You’re so stubborn!” As the sound of your heels approached and the chanting count began, he stood there, frozen, not knowing what to do. “I like you too!” When he went to turn around with rosy cheeks and the same big Bambi eyes you had, you frowned and then leaned in to kiss his cheek.  “And now we’re even” Taehyun held his cheek and became a blushing and stuttering mess when you took his hand and intertwined your fingers. “I thought you didn’t like me” You looked at him, tilting your head and stating something like it was as obvious as the roundness of Earth “ I thought you already knew” but at the comedic exchange, both of you broke the silence and went full on laughing into the dance floor where all your friends were expecting you with big smiles.
✩ Kai— “Can I have a kiss?”
“Kai?” There he was, waving at you with a big lip sealed smile in contrast with his formal attire. He looked like a golden retriever with a tuxedo on, but that was Kai for you. It was what made him special. “I couldn’t find you earlier so I thought you left with the guys”  You said as you approached him on the seats and as he patted the seat beside him and then covered your exposed legs with his own coat, you knew you cheeks were crimson red right now. He made you feel special. Even if the world was against you, Kai would always be there to brighten it up; like a lighthouse in the vast sea of this world. “What do you mean leave? The count is about to begin! And I wanted you to be here with me!” In a world of boys, Kai was truly a gentleman; as he caressed your free hand; he quickly faced you when he noticed the clock almost striking midnight and to him: it was now or never, but... “This is going to sound really stupid but… can I have your first kiss of this year?” As you closed your eyes and nodded expectantly, you felt his lips quickly peck yours; almost too quickly, like he was afraid of you backing away but when you opened your eyes and he saw yourself touching your lips in a daze, then frowning “That was too quick!” and you took him by the collar, maybe a little bit too fast and kind of clumsy but you pecked him on the lips too, staining him a bit with your lip gloss; he felt as if he was the luckiest guy in the world and so did you, because timidly you both searched for your hands and as they embraced each other, you both made a promise of never letting each other go.

YULETIDE REFLECTIONS (nsfw)
word count: 2.3k
pairing: lottie matthews x fem!reader
summary: you get jealous of the attention lottie’s not giving you at a christmas party, so she makes it up to you
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You’d never been so bored in your entire life. You had thought it would be an amazing idea when presented to you, but as you sat at the bar watching the seconds tick lazily by, you were second guessing all of it.
Lottie had decided to host a Christmas party at the wellness center. It was some ploy for new members, and while you were all for expanding the community and helping out, the process had proved horrendous. Parties made you nervous and you didn’t like being around such an excruciating amount of people you didn’t know.
It wasn’t to say that everything wasn’t beautiful — all of the holiday decorations were gorgeous, and everyone was cheerful and festive, but Lottie had abandoned you to go talk to possible new clients and out of boredom you had banished yourself to the bar. There were too many people for your liking, and being in the vicinity of the new clients and their skepticism almost made you nauseous. You hated work events, even when your wife was the one hosting them.
Lisa had joined you at the bar, and for almost an hour she had been pestering you with questions — you were one of the meditation teachers at the wellness center, and Lisa kept giving you random questions about chakras and auras and the placebo effect that you were getting a bit too tipsy to want to answer.
“So, the other day I was reading this book and basically it told me that auras are like clouds. People clouds.” She said, and the phrase ‘people clouds’ made you want to throw your wine in her face.
“I don’t know if that’s the term I would’ve used,” you said tiredly.
“What would you have said?” She asked enthusiastically. You sighed.
You felt a hand on your back and turned to see Lottie at your side, holding a glass of red wine. Relief overcame you, but you were a bit irritated with her for leaving you at the party alone. You had helped her put all of it together, and as soon as it had started she had left you.
“Lisa,” she said softly, and Lisa turned to Lottie as if God had spoken to her. “Will you go help the new clients fill out their paperwork?”
Quickly she nodded and hurried off. She would do anything Lottie said the moment she said to do it.
Lottie took Lisa’s seat next to you at the bar. She seemed to be enjoying herself despite all of the people, all of the chaos, the Christmas carols booming through the wellness center.
“Are you enjoying the party?” She asked. You were silent for a moment, not entirely knowing how to respond — you didn’t want to ruin the night for her, you knew she had been looking forward to it, but you had been in hell the whole duration of the party and you were irritated with her for abandoning you in it.
“It’s nice,” you said, a bit dryly. She raised her eyebrows skeptically, so you tried harder. “The decorations and the music, it all fits well together, and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves… What about you, are you enjoying it?”
She nodded, smiling softly. “I think it all turned out beautifully. We’ve gotten some new people to sign up, too, for after the holidays.”
“Good. We need that.”
She didn’t respond for a moment, choosing instead to watch you as you took a sip of your wine. You were acutely aware of her gaze bearing into you, of every breath she took and every breath you could hardly take yourself. You knew she had figured out by now how much torture the party had put you through.
“What are you thinking about?” Lottie asked, and you tensed slightly. You didn’t want to tell her you only thought horrendous parties like this were bearable in her presence — you didn’t want to tell her that you had been thinking about her all night. That you had been thinking about how gorgeous she looked in her golden dress and kaftan, with jeweled necklaces draping down her neck and chest and her hair hanging in flawless waves down her back.
You didn’t want to tell her you had been excruciatingly envious of everyone she’d come into contact with that night that hadn’t been you. That all you wanted was her full attention, for the two of you to go back to her cabin and pretend the rest of the world didn’t exist.
“You hate it, don’t you?” She asked, and you realized that you hadn’t responded to her question.
“I don’t hate it,” you said quickly. “Everything’s gorgeous, I just wish I’d spent all this time with you instead of fucking Lisa.”
She smirked, nodding, pleasantly surprised by your confession. “Jealous, then,” She noted, false sympathy lacing her tone. Your gaze dropped to her left hand fiddling mindlessly with the stem of her wine glass — her nails a deep shade of burgundy, one of her favorite rings on almost every finger.
“I’m not jealous,” you breathed, but the way it came out disproved your point. You averted your gaze, taking another sip of your wine. You felt her stand from her bar stool and come up behind yours, and after a moment her hands found your shoulders, trailing down to your hips. “Lottie…”
“I can’t even leave you alone for a couple of minutes,” she said condescendingly, as if it hadn’t been more than an hour. “What do we need to do to get you feeling better, hm? I can’t have you here sulking all night, baby…”
I’m not sulking, you wanted to say, but you couldn’t tell two lies in a row, not when you both knew the truth.
“Get up,” she ordered, and immediately you complied. You turned to face her, and to anyone else it would’ve looked like a perfectly normal conversation — you were the only one who knew her tells, the only one who could see the hunger in her eyes, the desperation ruled by dominance.
You let her lead you away from the bar and the small crowd that had accumulated around it. You weaved through the festivities, the hundreds of people getting wasted and partaking in the ‘Christmas cheer’ you had yet to find this year.
You heard someone calling Lottie’s name through the crowd. The two of you stopped, and you sighed, already knowing who it was before she joined you.
“I have the finished paperwork!” Lisa said cheerfully, and tried to hand it to Lottie, but the look you gave her made her pause. “Is everything okay? Your aura seems a bit-”
“Oh, for fuck’s sake,” you groaned, shaking your head. “Leave me the fuck alone, Lisa, I don’t have time for this.”
Her hurt expression told you every bit of how much you’d offended her, but you couldn’t bring yourself to care. The party had made you miserable and the wine had made you unfiltered and all you wanted was to be with Lottie without interruption.
Lisa hurried away, and apart from a few stragglers from the party, again you were alone with Lottie in one of the hallways of the wellness center.
Lottie pulled you forward sharply, and then to the right, and then she was shutting and locking the door to the single bathroom in the middle of the hall. She stalked forward, pressuring you to step back so that the end of your lower back was pressed against the sink.
“What was that?” She asked sharply. You shrugged. “You should’ve seen her face when you said that.”
A smirk played at your lips. “I did. I’m not sorry for it, I’d say it again.”
She shook her head, watching you with the same hunger she’d had before, the same intensity. She brought a hand up to your jaw, tilting your head so that you’d meet her gaze. You felt your heartbeat quicken, a wave of warmth washing over you, settling between your legs.
“Such a naughty girl,” she murmured, and you ripped your eyes from hers, her gaze too intense to hold. “Acting like this to get attention. So desperate for mommy, aren’t you? Let me help you, baby.”
You nodded quickly, breathing a small ‘yes’ before pulling her into a kiss that though you initiated, she dominated. Her hands slid around your legs to the hem of your dress, and she pulled it up over your hips, out of the way.
Without warning she turned you around. Your hips pressed sharply against the sink, and when you met her gaze in the mirror above it, you shivered. You hadn’t realized that she’d slipped her golden kaftan off, and while not much of her had been revealed to you still you were in awe of what you could get, the way her dark hair was draped over one shoulder and the way her necklaces fell against her chest, and how strong she looked as she held you against the sink.
“Mommy, please,” you whined, squirming slightly as you stood.
“I know, baby,” she cooed, her tone laced with false sympathy. “You need mommy to take care of you, don’t you?”
Any response you were planning was lost when her lips met your neck. She kissed your pulse point gently before beginning to suck a mark, eliciting a soft moan from you.
“Quiet,” she shushed. “We can’t have everyone hearing how desperate you are, knowing how you’re such a little slut for me that I have to fuck you in the bathroom because you don’t think you’re getting enough attention.”
Her words made embarrassment flush through you, but something deep in you liked it, wanted more, anything she would give you.
And though she dominated you entirely, you felt a sort of satisfaction that you’d driven her to take it this far — she had spent the night away from you but at the end of it she was yours, and she would sacrifice everything for you. It was a point you were proving to everyone at the party with every passing moment that she held you there, her lips on your neck, one hand trailing up your dress to grope at your chest and the other sliding between your legs.
Your attention split between her touches — her lips on your neck, alternating between soft kisses and harsh sucking and biting as she marked your neck. Her fingers sliding through your folds, her touch centering on your clit. Your breath hitched as she began to circle it languidly, whispering praises in your ear as you tried to keep silent but we’re unable to help the whimpers and short whines that escaped you. You looked back into the mirror at the two of you and felt your heart beating furiously.
“You’re doing so good, baby, being so good for mommy,” she praised, and a whimper escaped you, louder than you would’ve wanted, but you didn’t care anymore. Let everyone hear — you were too focused on Lottie to give a damn about what anyone thought.
You moaned when she slipped two fingers into you, hardly giving you a moment to adjust before setting a quick rhythm. The heel of her hand pressed against your clit and the sensation of it all was enough to have you euphoric, eyes falling closed.
You didn’t realize you were being so loud until Lottie brought a hand to your mouth to subdue your moans. It only made you more eager, you could only imagine how wet you must be by now, and another soft flush of embarrassment washed through you.
“You’re mine,” she said, “and I’m yours, and that’s the way it stays.”
You nodded quickly, trying your best to hold back a moan at her words. You opened your eyes, looking into the mirror, and when you met her gaze you whimpered.
“Good girl,” she praised. “My pretty little slut, so close to cumming for me, aren’t you?”
Again you nodded, holding her gaze for a moment before letting your vision slip down to her hand between your legs. You couldn’t see her fucking you, but you could see the way the muscles in her arm flexed with every movement, and that alone was enough to have you reeling.
“Look at you,” Lottie said. “So fucking gorgeous, and all mine.”
You moaned, your eyes falling closed for a moment, hips involuntarily bucking into her hand.
“Cum for me, baby. Show mommy how pretty you are when you cum for her.”
With a gasp you came, her hand still pressed against your mouth to silence you as she worked you through your orgasm. You leaned into her, letting her hold you up better than you could hold yourself up on the sink, and when you looked into the mirror you could see yourself unraveling at her touch. You could see, too, the reverence in Lottie’s eyes, the adoration and hunger with which she watched you, and it was everything.
When you came down from your high, she turned you around again to face her. You wrapped your arms around her, fatigue washing over you heavily, but when she held you it was the safest place in the world for every bit of your exhaustion, a place of rest.
“You did so good for me, angel,” she whispered, running a hand through your hair. You let yourself be overcome with every sensation of her touch. “I love you so much.”
“I love you, too,” you replied. You were silent for a moment, but then she let out a quiet chuckle, and confusedly you looked up at her. “What are you laughing about?”
“It’s nothing,” she said, but when you gave her an imposing look, she folded. “I was just thinking about how this is the scene they never show in Hallmark movies.”

KARAOKE PARTY
Megumi x Fem!Reader
warnings : fluff, fluff and fluff, slightest bit of underage drinking, cute little moment
NOW PLAYING
The sounds of giggling and off-key singing are the sounds the fill my ears. Just a couple hours ago, the first and second years were sweaty and exhausted from training, but now the hoard of children dance around the room as Panda sings “Single Ladies” at the top of his lungs. An occasional beer is drank, and obviously getting hyper with sweet candy, this is one of the rare moments that we can be kids. Panda flutters his eyelashes at Inumaki the way a woman does to get a man’s attention, he waves his ring finger in front of the boys face, “If you like than you shoulda’ put a ring on it!” The bear sings with a big grin, bowing dramatically as the song ends. Yuji, Yuta and I clap enthusiastically, whooping loudly for him, Megumi rolls his eyes at us. “Okay! Who’s gonna embarrass themselves next?” Maki asks with a clap of her hands, gaining everyone’s attention. “We will! We will!” I say loudly, fighting to stay still in my seat as I drag Nobara and Yuji to the stage. Nobara grins as she whispers in Yuji and I’s ear , “Super Trouper?” We both nod, smiling from ear to ear as she starts the music. The three of us sing the song proudly, our chests puffed out as we surprisingly hit every note. The music plays, Yuji grabbing Nobara’s hand and twirling her happily. “I was sick and tired of everythingggg. When I called you last night from Glasgow.” I begin, grabbing a hairbrush to act as a microphone. “All I do is eat and sleep and sing, wishing every show was the last show.” Nobara continues with a big grin, picking up an old paper towel cartridge to act as her mic. “So imagine I was glad to you’re coming, Suddenly I feel alright.” Yuji sings loudly, the three of us joining in an unsuspected harmony as we sing. “Tonight the Super Trouper, beams are gonna blind me, but I won’t feel blueeee, like I always doooooo. Cause somewhere in the crowd there’s you.” The three of sing in perfect unison as we dance to the music, the others joining. (Except Maki and Megumi) “So i’ll be there, when you arrive.” Yuji adds softly, “The sight of you will prove to me I’m still alive. And when you take me in your arms and hold me tight. I know it’s gonna mean so much tonightttt.” Nobara and I join as she dips me with a smile. “Tonight the Super Trouper, beams are gonna blind me. But I won’t feel blue.” Nobara smirks as she sings, nodding to Yuji and I as we finish the lyric. “Like I always do.” Yuji continues, he and Nobara joking in a salsa dance playfully. “Cause somewhere in the crowd, there’s youuu.” I finish with a big grin, pointing to Megumi as his cheeks brighten. The room fills with oooh’s at Megumi’s evident blushing, teasing him mercilessly. I send him a flirty wink, blowing him a kiss to tease him even further. The music ends and the three of us stand with our backs against each others as we grin and strike poses. Yuta laughs loudly at us while Inumaki takes dozens of pictures. We grab hands and bow childishly, then go settle back down with everyone. I sit down next to Megumi, ruffling his hair to annoy him. To my surprise, he grabs my arm and pulls me closer to him, his lips brushing my ear as he whispers, “To be fair, i’m not sad when you’re around either.” Now I’m the blushing and stuttering mess, squirming under his flirtatious gaze. A small smile rises on his face as he laces his fingers into mine sweetly, the blush on my face deepening as everyone begins to tease me now. “Traitors! I thought you guys were on my side.” I whine playfully, pushing Yuji’s shoulder so he falls face first on the ground. The eight of us burst out laughing as we watch him fall, Megumi and I making eye contact as we smile brightly.
Bonus : Megumi and I curl up together on Maki’s couch as we yawn tiredly. Megumi’s rough fingertips trail up my arm soothingly, my eyes fluttering shut as he lulls me to sleep, but Yuji’s drunken voice snaps me back awake. “California Girls were unforgettable, Daisy Dukes, bikinis on top!” He sings loudly, hiccuping between words as he stumbles drunkenly. A hazy smile comes onto my face as I listen to him sing, Panda and Inumaki cheering for him as Nobara and Yuta dance together flimsily, both tipsy from drinking so much. “He is such a lightweight.” Megumi mutters, referring to the pink-haired boy as he sings with a bubbly smile on his face. “He’s having fun.” I mumble, wincing when his voice breaks during a syllable. The door to Maki’s room slams open, revealing a smirking Gojo as he stands there with his arms crossed. Everyone in the room sobers up quickly, eyes and mouths widening with shock as we get caught. Gojo stands there with a ‘I caught you!!’ look on his face, Megumi and I share a nervous glance as we wait for him to say something. “I won’t tell Yaga that you guys are wayyy curfew, while drinking alcohol, and being all lovey dovey. If, you invite me to your next little party.” He finishes with a goofy grin, laughing at our relieved faces. We nod quickly, not wanting to get in trouble. “Okay, now, I want you all to go to sleep, in your own beds, and hide the evidence that you were drinking.” He then turns around and leaves the room. We all share scared looks before bursting out into laughter.
