Banana dye, bananas, and pine cones!

Bananas are a new bush-like plant found in tropical or beachy regions! They can be picked at their unripe or ripe stage, depending on what you want to use them for.

Unripe bananas can be crafted into golden bananas (which grant you banana powers like speed, jump boost and strength) as well as a few other things we haven't decided yet. Suggestions always welcome!

Ripe bananas can be peeled to be eaten. The peels can be crafted into banana dye, while the flesh of the fruit can be turned into banana bread or chocolate covered banana slices!

When the banana tree is chopped down, it can be turned into banana tree bark blocks, or crafted down into bamboo planks.

Pine cones can be found as a cover plant beneath spruce trees in taiga biomes. They can be harvested and turned into a pine cone block, which when burned releases a lot of smoke, combined with water to make banana dye, or turned into pine nuts. The pine nuts can be combined with honey for honeyed pine nuts, or combined with sweet berries to make boreal trail mix.

Book Review: Haunted Ever After by Jen DeLuca

Jen DeLuca is back with a cozy paranormal romance set in a quaint tourist town called Boneyard Key.

Cassie, who has just moved from Orlando, finds that not only are all the businesses named with spooky puns, but that she has moved into the most haunted house in town. When electrical outlet issues send her into Hallowed Grounds, the local coffeeshop, to work and charge up, she meets the owner, Nick, who captivates her with his charm and free slices of banana bread. Before long, they're taking the town's ghost tour together and investigating the haunted history behind her cottage. With love and beyond-the-veil interference on the docket, it's up to Cassie to decide if she'll stay long enough to settle into her new home or be spooked by a (spectral) Hawkins into leaving.

This was such a lighthearted, cozy read. I would've preferred there to have been been more romantic tension, for Cassie and Nick seemed to fall into the instalove category, with their only conflict being she was fearful of ghosts and he was terrified she wouldn't stay in Boneyard Key. The plot ran stale at times because of that. The setting was adorable, though. The perfect blend of beachy and haunted. (In fact, I feel like I need to leave a beer out in the sand for the Beach Bum now.) I also liked Elmer and Sarah, who made for the quirkiest and ghostliest of roommates.

All in all, I'd say this is perfect choice for readers who are looking for something saccharine, spirited, and ghostly to usher in the fall season. Thanks so much to NetGalley and Berkley for the ARC in exchange for my review!

Water Park: 8/10. Genuinely really enjoy this one. It sound very beachy which I really enjoy.

Sweet Sweet Canyon: 4/10. Definitely not my favourite. When I play Mario Kart I expect upbeat and playful music which is exactly what this is, but I just feel like it's missing something.

WELL i went and bought this because i like the marketing of it i cant lie. and i had a lot of ulta points like a ton and so guess how much this was…..thats right ONE DOLLAR!!! one dollar perfume everybody. immediately upon spraying the tester in the store i was like damn this smells like a tanning lotion. and then i was like wait a damn minute this smells almost exactly like tom ford soleil blanc. and it does in the opening its basically identical to soleil blanc theyre like beachy citrusy salt spray blonde woman perfumes. this dries down into a more tropical-y pineapple banana coconut festival of a perfume however with just like a bare little hint of that plastic swimsuit chlorinated promise they gave us in their little marketing scheme to make this sound like a more exciting niche fragrance than it is. its a good perfume in the way that soleil blanc is also a good perfume do not misunderstand me! its just a light tropical sunscreeny coconut rather than this weird quirky amalgamation of nostalgic crazy out there notes that they want you to tjink it is. ill be wearing it all summer probably anyways cuz i do like a good sunscreen scent even though i myself am no beach babe

Lawless - Forget the Filler Lip-Plumping Line-Smoothing Tinted lip Balm.

I love the Lawless Forget the Filler line. The overnight lip treatment is so good. I love the way it feels and plumps. I was also using it during the day because I liked it so much.

Thanks to the balm I can leave the night treatment for nighttime. I purchased the balm in bubble gum for a pop of color. It's gorgeous on zoom and fills out your lips as promised. This item is a little on the high side at $26 but it may just become your new HG.

We have such radically different names in Australia that I think it warrants going outside the tags. The most common terms where I live are swimmers and swimming costume, but we also love to shorten words and stick 'ie' on the end so a swimming costume becomes a cozzie, boardshorts are boardies, and a rash vest is a rashie. Speedos are sometimes called budgie smugglers, which supposedly started off as a joke between friends and grew to be embraced by the nation. Alternate terms include sluggos, dick stickers, and banana hammock. Our politicians are particularly fond of wearing them which has always made the general populace really uncomfortable. Oh, and thongs are summer/beachy footwear as opposed to underwear. We call those g-strings.

Honestly, I'm surprised it took this long for me to realize a word from my childhood seems to have become outdated in my lifetime. Either that or my frame of reference is just too small...
