"I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion."
Alexander III of Macedon, most commonly known as Alexander the Great, was a king of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon.
Born: July 356 BC, Pella
Died: June 323 BC (age 32 years), Babylon
He was taught by Aristotle: Alexander the Great’s tutor was none other than the famous philosopher Aristotle, who instilled in him a love for knowledge, philosophy, and the sciences.
2. Named over 20 cities after himself: Alexander named many cities after himself, the most famous being Alexandria in Egypt. There are over 20 cities named “Alexandria” that trace their origins to him.
3. Never lost a battle: In his 15 years of conquests, Alexander never lost a battle. His military strategies are still studied in military academies today.
4. He was declared a god: In Egypt, after his conquest, the Egyptians declared him a pharaoh and considered him a god, associating him with the Egyptian god Amun.
5. Tamed a horse no one else could: When Alexander was a boy, he tamed a wild horse named Bucephalus that no one else could. Bucephalus became his loyal companion in battle.

Day 4! Number #176, my dnd character Chatch-Kit (which constantly gets mispronounced as catch-kit, even years after its retirement).
A Thri-kreen ranger, it/they, and aroace :D
extra info!
this was a fucking hellscape. i havent drawn bug people in so long. the mouthparts. hrg.
Kit was my first ever dnd character, for my first ever dnd campaign back in highschool! I dropped out before i got to see it go anywhere significant, though. Still friends with a lot of the players from the old club, though, and we made a little dnd server to keep playing thats expanded to a general gaming/friends hangout area over the years. fun stuff.
Had a bit of a sibling slash qpr relationship with @oliveris-tired's spellcaster something character, since his playstyle includes a lot of Dont Think Lets Go and i was a much more cautious battlestrategist type. Despite being a ranger, I ended up in melee a lot trying to save everyone else's ass. I did pretty well though! and by that i mean i kicked absolute ass. Fuck yeah.
One moment I rememver very vividly wasss sneaking through the underdark (which we spawned in for plot, taken in as slaves) and Ollie, in a rare stroke of genius, rolled a nat20 on Move Earth to collapse a part of the cave with a lot of the enemies in it. That was fucking sick. Then we jumped into a river far below to escape, and I was the only one smart enough to run around the toxic gas spewing demon things that spawned and head for the exit instead. I wasn't there long enough to see us escape the cave.
Kit never got a break until the day i physically went back to school to submit my leave form, being recycled as an NPC with my permission until they found a town, because it was so incredibly useful to this party with no survival instinct/t. Im so sorry king. sleep well in the lush savannahs ye came from.
#beetledee art#october prompts#my ocs#man. i need to go back to making bug ocs they were so fun#<-said by a person who is playing a spider hybrid thing in the current campaign#anyways WOOOO SO CLOSE TO BEATING MY PERSONAL BEST WITH OCTOBER PROMPTS
