A game that's all about decorating gingerbread houses. The game is a baking battle royale, and it's sort of a mix between Fall Guys and Nailed It!. Every round players will need to copy to the best of their ability a certain house. Each player has their own prep area, but all the ingredients are in a common area, and while you're there, you can steal stuff from people. You'll only be to take back to your prep area what you can carry, so you'll quickly need to decide what ingredients might run out first and try to grab those as soon as possible. After acquiring all the ingredients (or the closest matches you could find) you'll need to complete a series on button pushing sequences that will determine how well you manage to build and decorate your gingerbread house. The fastest players to build a house that fulfills the current round's base requirements to be considered a house will proceed to the next round. These base requirements will be things such as building a pool or a balcony, and will get trickier with each round, until only one player remains, who will receive the Gingerbread Crown.

I’ll admit it, I’m really kinda pissed about DATV being basically a “cozy” game, because I do not like “cozy” games. I do not play cozy games because I do not like cozy games. That is, in fact, why I liked the Dragon Age series - because it was not cozy, it was not black-and-white morality, it did not hold your hand and tell you the exact message it wanted you to get. I liked it because it was messy and grey and you had to figure out for yourself what messages might be there. I’m pissed because they did a rug pull with the series and gave me the exact kind of game I do not like and expected me to be happy about it.

A co-op game (with a battleroyale mode) about cooking and baking where all the players are tiny, about hand size, so they have to team up to do all the tasks and build all kind of contraptions to open cupboard doors or put stuff in the oven. All tasks, be it acquiring ingredients, measuring them, adding them and mixing them at the right times, or decorating or plating the food will require teamwork. Whatever team in that chaotic kitchen manages to follow the recipe more and creates the best dish will be crowned victorious.
