Bats was telling the history of Men and Dogs to Baron Mordo and the magic snakes in the middle of the ritual when the God of the Dogs appears to them. As the Dog God asks why he had been summoned, Bats replied that the world had gone dark from the vampire invasion and he needs his help in saving Doctor Strange and Wong. The Dog God agrees to Bats' plea to help him out. Outside the Mirror Dimension, Wong has been exhausted from running and he is cornered by Victor-Doctor Strange (Victor Strange's spirit possessing the body of the vampirized Stephen Strange). Before Victor-Doctor Strange could bite Wong, the mirrors shatter around them and the Dog God with Bats' face appears before them. While Bats-God is engaged in a battle with Victor-Doctor Strange, Wong sees a couple of magic snakes and Baron Mordo. Even though Wong is glad that he's saved, he is not happy to see Baron Mordo. Bats-God bites Victor Strange's spirit and extracts him from Doctor Strange's body. Doctor Strange is freed from not only the evil spirit, he is also cured from vampirism. As Victor Strange is finally defeated, the Dog God leaves Bats and bids his farewell to the ghost dog. Much to Wong's dismay, Baron Mordo takes the defeated Victor Strange to the portal.
