Saiyan headcanons
Saiyans love hot baths. The kind of temperatures they best enjoy would be boiling to most people but to them is a perfect sauna.
They often take very personal trophies from their victories, like heads, limbs, or skin.
When a Saiyan is banished/exiled, they have their tails cut off as a mark of shame.
Some traditional Saiyan dishes do include bugs.
Before the Cold Empireâs conquest, Saiyan architecture was similar to that of the Aztecs/Mayans and India. You can also see it in the style of their artwork.
They also didnât use armor much as they didnât consider it necessary, but when they did the armor they wore included leather, metals, and furs. Common Saiyan armor was styled like the Vikings, while the armor used by the elite were more like the Mongolians.
Like in a lot of species, female Saiyans are not only just as strong as their male counterparts but can even be more dangerous. Females are more agile, methodical, strategic, and better at stealth. Like lionesses, they are capable of both attacking and defending. While female Saiyans are the primary caretakers of children and homesteads, this is because they are seen as reliable and highly capable at leading and protecting. If an army tried to attack a Saiyan camp because it was only wives and mothers, it would be the worst mistake.
Most Saiyans do not know what a âhusband/wifeâ or âboyfriend/girlfriendâ is or even what marriage means. They have mates and while there is courting involved it still basically goes if two people like each other a certain way they hook up, move in, and, more often than not, produce children. Thatâs it. Plain and simple. There are no certain terms, ceremonies, or pageantry.
Surprisingly, Saiyans are normally very loyal partners. They are monogamous and they more often than not mate for life.
A lot of Saiyans actually care about their children and can be super protective of them. As in, think of a mama bear or papa lion on PCP. Donât mess with their kids.
They also carry them on their bodies, mostly their backs, not much different from how regular monkeys and apes do with their babies.
And when theyâre not carried, Saiyan children hold on to their parentâs tail, kind of like with elephants.
Traditional Saiyan music kind of sounds like rock music and their dancing is the same as mosh pitting.
Yes, they hiss like cats. Why wouldnât they?
Their battle cries sound like gorilla grunts and monkey howls and they bang on their chests like them.
Saiyans are fairly casual about nudity. They have mixed bath-houses and donât have much problem with walking around naked before or after a bath or being injured. They even consider fighting nude and act of bravery and strength.
Saiyans have a very high tolerance for narcotics and alcohol. It takes quite a bit to make them intoxicated. Which is why their alcohol is extremely strong to the point it could give a man alcohol poisoning in little to no time.
While they prefer meat, theyâre omnivores above all. They can eat just about anything. I mean anything. They have super strong stomachs that can store/digest anything. Like sharks, theyâll eat the most unusual things from time to time. If you cut open a Saiyanâs belly, you wouldnât believe some of the stuff you would find in there, like a lost and found.
A Saiyanâs way of showing affection to their SO or relatives normally includes sharing food, bringing them presents from their hunts and other adventures, and grooming (namely picking out debris or whatnot from their hair). With their mates, they tend to bite (think of like with cats).
Speaking of which, Saiyans are very fierce in the bedroom as they are in the battlefield. Because of this, along with their brute strength and expansive energy, physical intimacy with a Saiyan can be tantamount to wrestling a bear or lion. You will most likely die or at least be seriously injured.
Saiyans have matches that are a lot like flyting, or rap battles. Essentially, they roast each other in rhythmic style. In Saiyan matches, expect some mother/father jokes and unflattering references to Frieza or King Cold.

You must water yourself and feed the tissues in your body with the light from your thoughts, perceptions, nutrition, to the things you watch, listen to, and read. This doesn't mean that you try to escape the tragedies of the external world. It does mean that you understand that your body responds to your own love and care more than anything else. Daily care and aftercare are essential during times of war and peace. As we sit with the paradox and nuance of being human and our predatory animal nature to take, pillage, and harm, we must show up for it all, including caring for our bodies. Your body responds to your daydreams, thoughts, and touch. When you touch your body, let your heart be as light as a feather...as much as possible. The light in your hands sculpt, shape, and heal your body. I told my friend the other day that my breasts sit up the way that they at 47 years old because of how much love I have given them over the last 15 years, how much I take time and care with my body, how often I lay back and just listen. So many of us with breasts carry burdens in our bodies year after year. God needs us to transmute all the shame, tension, anger, repression, embarrassment, and fear so that we can access more of our divine nature to help evolve this world by channeling raw and uncommon solutions.
Because if the voting and marching were working, we would be not be where we are in the world today. I still bow to my sisters and brothers who are on the front lines. But what I also know to be true is that we must take time to detox in order to recalibrate the hate, repression, shame, and war living in our epigenetic line that continue to create war in our bodies--the diabetes, cancer, chronic jealousy, womb aches, breasts ache, lack of sensation, and lack of full-body orgasms, and also the molestation and scarcity in the family line. These entities. We can't continue to "take in" and not let out.
Bringing More Love to Your body Changes the World Around You and Opens Up More Pathways to Love and Loving
When you live "spirituality" as a lifestyle, more of your DNA unlocks open. When there is high emotion in the collective, I transfer that energy into self-care--bathing, skin care, making good food, listening to good music, resting and caring for who and what is around me. I made a bone broth chicken soup and brought some to my massage therapist. I know what's happening in the world but I'm not constantly attuned to it in the 3D, meme after meme, news story after news story. I'm living life that around me and praying for those who are fighting for their actual lives. I do not take for granted what it means to have more freedom.
Shifting my focus in various ways over the years has kept my body more nourished and youthful than what it would have been otherwise. I priortise sweating often, lik in a dry Finnish sauna, wet sauna, or sweating while working out in high intensity classes. I have no goal to stay younger-looking. I love being grown AF. It is merely what naturally happens when we take care ourselves (our cells) and release, release, release. When we release, our tissues let go and bodies respond favorably. Our care creates the conditions that allow our bodies to flourish in ways in which we beautifully and radiantly age, but we don't age as quickly. -India Ame'ye, Author

People forced to use sand to bathe their kids, girls and women are recommended to cut their hair because shampoo cost around $25USD.
This is not a trauma we can understand or relate to. But this is the reality of millions living in the Gaza Strip. This is the life Siraj and his family is forced to live.
Siraj's is a vetted campaign(#219) .
Because of the Israeli siege, the family is forced to choose between food or other essentials.
On top of that they are living in tents, having had their homes destroyed by IOF.
Water is scarce and the journey to get the water is difficult. Children (which Siraj is supporting 10 of) forced to walk long distances and stand in lines for hours for a loaf of bread.
Siraj is the provider for 23 members, 10 of whom are children. He is supporting 5 families, living in tents during this heatwave. His wife and children are suffering from skin conditions which need medical attention.

Wildlife of Ladakh Through the Lens: A Photography Adventure
In the heart of the rugged, high-altitude region of northern India lies a land of stark beauty and uncharted wilderness. Ladakh, often referred to as the "Land of High Passes," is a captivating destination that offers a unique blend of breathtaking landscapes and a rich tapestry of wildlife. This remote area, characterized by its towering mountains, deep valleys, and vast deserts, is not only a haven for adventure seekers but also a paradise for nature lovers and photographers. Wildlife of Ladakh and Photography in Ladakh are two intertwined themes that present an unparalleled opportunity to explore and capture the essence of this extraordinary region.
Ladakhâs diverse ecosystem is home to a variety of wildlife species that have adapted to the harsh climatic conditions. One of the most iconic inhabitants is the elusive snow leopard, a creature that has captured the imagination of many. These magnificent big cats are perfectly adapted to the rocky terrain and frigid temperatures, making them a rare and prized sight for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers alike. The high-altitude deserts and rugged mountains provide the perfect backdrop for capturing these predators in their natural habitat.
In addition to snow leopards, Ladakh boasts a wealth of other wildlife species. The Tibetan antelope, or chiru, is another remarkable resident. Known for their grace and speed, these antelopes are often seen grazing on the sparse vegetation of the region. Similarly, the Himalayan blue sheep, or bharal, can be spotted on the steep slopes, their blue-grey coats blending seamlessly with the rocky surroundings. Photographers will find ample opportunities to capture these animals in action, from grazing herds to playful lambs.
Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by the avian diversity in Ladakh. The region is home to several species of birds of prey, including the golden eagle and the lammergeier, or bearded vulture. These majestic birds can often be seen soaring high above the valleys, their keen eyes scanning the terrain for prey. The sight of a golden eagle in flight, set against the dramatic backdrop of the snow-capped peaks, is a photographerâs dream. Additionally, the tranquil waters of Ladakhâs high-altitude lakes attract migratory birds such as the black-necked crane, bar-headed goose, and ruddy shelduck, offering further opportunities for stunning wildlife photography.
One of the most striking aspects of Ladakh is its ability to change with the seasons. Each season brings its own unique charm and photographic opportunities. In the summer, the landscape is bathed in warm hues, with the alpine meadows coming to life with vibrant wildflowers. This is an excellent time for capturing the contrast between the colorful flora and the arid surroundings. The winter months, on the other hand, cloak Ladakh in a blanket of snow, transforming it into a winter wonderland. This season offers a chance to photograph the regionâs wildlife against a pristine white backdrop, as well as the hardy locals going about their daily lives in the extreme cold.
To truly experience and capture the essence of Wildlife of Ladakh and Photography in Ladakh, itâs essential to explore the regionâs diverse landscapes. The Nubra Valley, known for its sand dunes and double-humped Bactrian camels, offers a unique desert landscape that contrasts sharply with the surrounding snow-capped peaks. Photographers can capture the striking juxtaposition of the camels against the backdrop of the towering mountains, creating images that highlight the diversity of Ladakhâs terrain.
The Changthang Plateau, located in the southeastern part of Ladakh, is another must-visit destination for wildlife photographers. This vast, high-altitude plateau is home to the nomadic Changpa people and their herds of pashmina goats. The goats, prized for their soft and warm wool, are often seen grazing on the sparse vegetation of the plateau. The area is also a haven for birdlife, with several high-altitude lakes attracting a variety of migratory birds. Photographers can capture the unique lifestyle of the Changpa people, as well as the stunning landscapes and wildlife that characterize this remote region.
For those looking to capture the majestic peaks and pristine lakes of Ladakh, the Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri lakes are not to be missed. These high-altitude lakes, with their crystal-clear waters reflecting the surrounding mountains, provide a serene and picturesque setting for photography. The changing colors of the lakes, from deep blue to shimmering turquoise, offer endless opportunities for capturing the beauty of Ladakhâs natural landscapes. Additionally, the shores of these lakes are home to several species of wildlife, including the kiang, or Tibetan wild ass, which can be seen grazing on the grassy plains.
Photographers visiting Ladakh should also take the time to explore the regionâs rich cultural heritage. The ancient monasteries, with their intricate architecture and vibrant prayer flags, offer a glimpse into the spiritual life of the Ladakhi people. The Hemis Monastery, one of the largest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh, is particularly famous for its annual Hemis Festival, which features colorful masked dances and rituals. Capturing these cultural events and the daily lives of the monks can add a unique dimension to your Ladakh photography portfolio.
When planning a photography expedition to Ladakh, itâs important to be well-prepared for the challenges posed by the high-altitude environment. The thin air and extreme temperatures can be physically demanding, so acclimatization is key. Ensure that you have the necessary permits for restricted areas, as well as appropriate gear to protect your equipment from the harsh conditions. A sturdy tripod, wide-angle lenses, and telephoto lenses are essential for capturing the diverse landscapes and wildlife. Additionally, carrying spare batteries and memory cards is crucial, as the cold temperatures can drain battery life quickly.
Wildlife of Ladakh and Photography in Ladakh offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore and capture the untamed beauty of this extraordinary region. From the elusive snow leopard to the graceful Tibetan antelope, and from the soaring golden eagle to the serene high-altitude lakes, Ladakh is a photographerâs paradise. The ever-changing landscapes, diverse wildlife, and rich cultural heritage provide endless possibilities for creating stunning and memorable images. So pack your camera gear, embrace the adventure, and get ready to explore the wild and wonderful world of Ladakh.

Modern History: Ancient Roman Aqueducts
The Roman Empire is known for its impressive aqueduct system, which transported water over long distances to support their cities. This early engineering marvel laid the groundwork for modern water supply systems and emphasized the importance of efficient water distribution. Lessons from these aqueducts continue to inform water management practices today.
Roman aqueduct systems were built over a period of about 500 years, from 312 B.C.E. to C.E. 226. Both public and private funds paid for construction. The Roman aqueduct was a channel used to transport fresh water to highly populated areas. Aqueducts were amazing feats of engineering given the time period. Though earlier civilizations in Egypt and India also built aqueducts, the Romans improved on the structure and built an extensive and complex network across their territories.
High-ranking rulers often had them built; the Roman emperors Augustus, Caligula, and Trajan all ordered aqueducts built. Aqueducts required a great deal of planning. They were made from a series of pipes, tunnels, canals, and bridges. Gravity and the natural slope of the land allowed aqueducts to channel water from a freshwater source, such as a lake or spring, to a city.Â
As water flowed into the cities, it was used for drinking, irrigation, and to supply hundreds of public fountains and baths. The most recognizable feature of Roman aqueducts may be the bridges constructed using rounded stone arches. Some of these can still be seen today traversing European valleys. The capital in Rome alone had around 11 aqueduct systems supplying freshwater from sources as far as 92 kilometers away (57 miles).
Ancient Roman aqueducts, a marvel of engineering from over two millennia ago, hold significant relevance to contemporary water-related issues. For example, Roman aqueducts have been relevant nowadays demonstrating the feasibility of transporting water over long distances through complex networks of channels and pipes. This engineering legacy has directly influenced modern water supply systems and the design of pipelines and aqueducts used today.Â
In short, Roman aqueducts were a system of water supply and distribution constructed by the ancient Romans. These aqueducts were an intricate network of channels, pipes, and tunnels designed to transport fresh water from natural sources, such as springs and rivers, to cities, towns, and industrial facilities throughout the Roman Empire. Roman aqueducts were essential for sustaining the growth and development of Roman cities, as they provided a reliable source of clean water for drinking, sanitation, and various industrial processes.

The History and Uses of Lavender in Traditional Medicine
Lavender has been used for centuries in traditional medicine for its various therapeutic properties. The use of lavender can be traced back to ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans, who used the plant for its soothing and healing properties.
Ancient Egyptians used lavender for its medicinal properties; they used it to treat wounds, and to mummify their dead. The Greeks and Romans used lavender for bathing and to scent their homes and clothes. They also used it to treat various health conditions such as headaches, insomnia, and digestive issues.
In medieval Europe, lavender was used as an antiseptic to cleanse wounds and prevent infection. It was also used to treat respiratory problems, and to promote relaxation and sleep.
Lavender Essential Oil Aromatherapy has been traditionally used for its calming and soothing effects on the mind and body. It has also been used to help with conditions such as anxiety, depression, and insomnia. The oil has also been used topically to help with pain relief, skin irritations and minor burns.
Lavender oil has also been used in traditional medicine as a natural remedy for respiratory conditions, such as bronchitis, asthma, and colds. The oil has also been used to help alleviate headaches and migraines when used topically or in a diffuser.
It is important to note that traditional medicine can be very different from modern medicine, and it's always best to consult with a healthcare professional before using any natural remedies, particularly if you have any pre-existing health conditions or are taking any medications.

The Elephant Whisperers - Movie Review
The Elephant Whisperers â A Movie Review
                                A movie by Kartiki Gonsalves
This weekend I saw The Elephant Whisperers, which is nominated for the Oscars in the short film documentary category. It is a film that gives you a soothing experience in its 41 minutes run-time.
Your eyes are treated with an opening scene capturing the lush green landscape of Mudumalai National Park in Southern India which is also an elephant reserve.
Dense forests, bubbling rivers, untamed waterfalls and the freely roaming wildlife transports you to a world of innocence, nature, raw beauty and a loving earth. Your eyes and ears are gently pampered by these rich visuals.
The film is about an orphaned baby elephant Raghu and an aged couple Belli and Bomman; who take care of Raghu after his mother got electrocuted by a barbed wire fencing a farm.
Right from the first scene showing Raghu with his caretakers, this is a movie of unconditional love, pure affection and blissful harmony between humans and animals, elephants in this case.
The passion with which the selfless couple takes care of Raghu is heart-warming. They not only feed and bathe him, but talk to him and play with him as if he is their own child. Raghu responds to their love and affection and recovers from his mental and physical trauma.
After some time, another elephant Ammu, joins him for caretaking and the two elephants bond wonderfully after an initial hiccup period of settling in.
The daily routine of the couple remains much the same and they are shown happily spending their days in loving and caring for these elephants. Bellie and Bomman also teach young children how to care for these elephants. Their only desire is that even the coming generations treat these animals with love and respect.
In times of rampant development, leading to increasing human-animal conflict in areas surrounded by forests, Bellie and Bomman are a flicker of hope of humanity.
The movie comes as a wonderful respite for people living in urban areas surrounded by sky scrapers and flyovers, trains and traffic jams, honking and rushing around, as it brings a world to you where people are thriving and are truly happy sleeping in a mud house, eating simple home-cooked meals, living in harmony with nature, surrounded by peace, wildlife, birds, orange sunsets and pink sunrises. They often walk barefoot, as a mark of respect for the forest they live in and take from it only as much as is needed for daily use.
They are not affected by bank balances or appraisals, have never heard of promotions or presentations, do not dream of fancy vacations and use the phone only to communicate with the outside world for essentials. Their aspirations are simple, purpose of life noble.
This movie made me realize that there would be many such people who would be doing their duty, however great it may be, as a way of life, without any expectation of a reward, appreciation, acknowledgement or fame. Their contentment from life and peace of mind makes these embellishments and prizes seem so fickle and unnecessary.
In times where violence, gore, ear thrashing item numbers and story-less movies barge our screens, a movie as this is a therapeutic experience in its entirety.

I generally do not care 5 cents about celebrity culture but I find the conversations around Ashanti and Nellyâs rekindled relationship interesting. Many say he should have proposed to her as soon as they got back together. Others think she did too much by buying him his dream car. The fact that Ashanti has that kind of wealth is remarkably outstanding and powerful. Archetypal energy! I don't think it occurs to anyone that maybe Ashanti does not want to be a wife and is content with living life on her terms. Even if she does desire to be a wife and they get married and have children, the social programming is so thick and deep and wide that women never allow themselves to consider the possibility that maybe a woman doesnât want to be married and/or birth children. Ultimately this channeling is not so much about their relationship. It is, however, celebrating the awareness in how the ability to merely consider other options in how we perceive womanhood, this story, or anything else.... installs a level of freedom and expansion into our magnetic field that we can transfer into other areas of our personal lives. Transmutation. How we perceive -even something as distant to us as celebrity cultureâis everything true and holy for what we create in our own lives in the future. There is nothing wrong with having the authentic desire to be married and have children. I find that when it's truthful, it is beautiful. And what's also true is that so many women in marriages are bored to death and miserable AF. Not all women enjoy being mothers or being married. Many will never admit that while they love and adore their children, they don't love motherhood and unconsciously numb out and dissociate. But I can feel it. I have always felt it. I started noticing these patterns in women when I was in my teens, but didn't have the language or maturity to name them. A pattern master is who I was by the age of 15. If you want to begin to master any part of life, you must be willing to look at the patterns and re-pattern your subconscious accordingly. That's why I truly believe one of the greatest uplevels happen when a woman stops believing that being a wife or having children is the ultimate prize and value metric. Having a lover (or lovers) who loves you, adores you, honors you, respects you, adventures the globe with you, invests in you and is not trying to control you or place you in a box as you do the same thing is the pinnacle of love and winning, whether dating, in a committed partnership, or married. The more you unlearn programming and conditioning, shift how you think and perceive reality, the more you realize that this world was built to extract from women, to shrink her spiritual capacity by tying down her life force energy, making her more subservient and exhausted than truly alive and free to pleasurably overflow in her body and life as ordained by Source to live. Less miserable exhausted women and more fully awakened pleasured women in touch with nature and ritual are essential for tapping into real healing solutions that open up the collective mind and heart in a violent chaotic world. Whether taking dance lessons, traveling the world, bathing in sweetwaters, making love, or getting married and having babies, accessing real pleasure has to be an important part of her life. Think about it: She is the only mammal on earth whose body contains an organ for which the only purpose is pleasure. This divine-given anatomical design has to begin to mean something to you. -India Ame'ye, A Plump Clitoris Venusian Channeling
